Starting point is 00:00:00 and i'm hitting button and he went away we lost did we lose paul immediately that's really funny that's okay so paul f tompkins was here and we had a really great show lined up for you guys today it's it's quaraders i i blame the dance i think it was too difficult i blame the dance for scaring him away you don't have to dance if you don't want to no one no one's gonna make you dance i didn't even trying to like slide my screen smaller i hit the leave why is it suit it's too close to the corner the leave button is too close to the corner but it really did look like oh no
Starting point is 00:01:03 hold on you would not be the first of our guests to kind of attempt to hit the leave button mentally as the robot song plays but you're back now gallagher come on you're back now we're gonna count it this is the show it's quarators it's america's quora-based podcast and all of your hosts are here and we're already having a laugh quarators weather report snowy it's really snowing outside wear a hat if you're listening to this in a week half of the hosts are snowed in and then the other half fine as i understand it it's a it's a breezy i want to say 80 degrees outside it's kind of crazy yeah sorry it's like too nice it is honestly and i know this is hard for you to wrap your mind around given your
Starting point is 00:02:04 circumstances it is too nice it's just too nice i can't leave the house for survival reasons i went outside a butterfly landed on my shoulder and then i looked up and i saw a hawk and a crow sharing the same uh pole and so it's things are pretty good over here you guys wow a hawk and a crow sharing the same pole i never thought i'd see the day that's right it's 2026 i thought you said they were sharing the same pole and i thought that meant that they were eating the same carcass like they had both they had both they'd gone in together on a small pet and they're like let's do this you thought claire saw a live political cartoon unfolding yeah exactly if you go up to a hawk and you ask do you pull
Starting point is 00:03:01 what it means is the meat from a carcass yeah sure sure it's not a sex thing to put your body out to a hawk. But I'm not touching that one. We have a very special guest today, all the way in from Hollywood, California, home of Charlie Manson and the Night Stalker. It's world-famous
Starting point is 00:03:25 podcasting comedian Paul F. Tompkins. Paul? Is that what we're known for? It's kind of the first thing I think of. Do you think most people, when they think of Hollywood California, that's the first two things?
Starting point is 00:03:41 Or maybe after the main thing. This is mortifying. I'm so sorry everybody. There's so much more. You guys got that sign? Yeah, see? Think about that. It's the actual word.
Starting point is 00:04:00 After the sign, though, I do think of Richard Ramirez. The sign The sign is the word. That's true. Yeah. It's kind of crazy. Maybe the sign should lead to murder.
Starting point is 00:04:13 If you consider that, just get it up there. I feel like every year I have to pause and remember if Charles Manson is still alive. He's gone, right? He's not, right? We used to have Steve Jobs. We used to have Charles Manson. We lost him. I feel like he's still around.
Starting point is 00:04:31 I feel like he got married. Right. He's not single, so he might as well be dead. I can look this up. Maybe where I got confused. I feel like he died, but maybe not. Because he can't be mine anymore. I remember feeling a disturbance in the force.
Starting point is 00:04:47 All right, let's see. Charles, he is dead. He died in 2017. Okay, yeah, no, I was right. Didn't even know about COVID, Charles. Whoa, you guys know how tall he was? He was a little guy, right? 5'2".
Starting point is 00:05:00 He could not have moved. Whoa, that's even smaller than I thought. Just a little guy carving up. The original short king. The short yellow king. I took growth hormone as a kid. I was supposed to be 5'2", and I ended up 6 feet. I wonder if my parents were like,
Starting point is 00:05:18 we can't have the next Charles Manson on our hands. He's going to come out bad if we leave him short. He'll be angry. He'll be angry about dating apps. I was carving the cool S into my forehead as a child, and they're like, we see where this is going. The CIA is going to pick him up. They're going to give him weird drugs.
Starting point is 00:05:37 He's going to come out weird. He's too small. Oh, Charlie. Now that I've started us off on this confrontational note, Paul, welcome to the show. Thank you. Have you been on Quora before? I have indeed.
Starting point is 00:05:50 It's a delight. It's been a while. Pretty fun, right? Pretty fun. I agree. I agree with your premise. And with that, the show can begin. I'm trying to get along with everybody.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Well, I guess we'll get right into it then, because we don't have to explain it's like Facebook, but it's Reddit. And that's really all you really need to know. And everyone lists where they work and live. So with that, I think we can begin our theme, which is today. What was the theme, Jeremy? The theme is real magic exposed. It's real magic exposed. And then a sound effect of some kind.
Starting point is 00:06:30 Oh, fuck. I don't know what this is. Oh, this is the Naruto theme. Oh, okay, great. Wonderfully done, Jeremy. Can I ask you, Alex, what is the Space of the Week button? Oh, it's panel four, bottom right. Cool.
Starting point is 00:06:48 That's crazy. So on Quora, there's spaces, which is like subreddits, but it's for Quora. And this is our Space of the Week. Space of the Week. okay here's where i'm realizing i've never actually been on quora i've only seen quora answers in searches okay and i and also i guess like screen grabs that people have posted i didn't i guess i didn't think about quora being an actual place you know what i mean it's not a good one to go to i don't know what i thought it was just like a creature that you ask things of i didn't know
Starting point is 00:07:28 I didn't know that there was a place to go. You're going to love being in it, Paul. This is very exciting. This space is Spellcaster Alizad Psychic Secrets. Good space. It's got 34 followers. She's a- Petite.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Yeah, it's a small one. Small space. She's an experienced psychic, parentheses white witch, and executive spellcaster. Thank God. I could have told you that. Look at her.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Honky ass. Mayonnaise witch Get the fuck out of here I love my grandkids Do you want some spells? Honey do you want grandma to make you a spell? Look at her Yeah she's an older woman
Starting point is 00:08:12 She's got an orb You gotta have an orb if you're gonna be a psychic She looks like a nice lady You can't see anything without your orb We should say the header image If you're not on the YouTube Is a big cauldron of what could be blood or something, red smoke's coming out of it
Starting point is 00:08:29 and it's near a fire. And so you know that there are other liquids involved. It's not just the orb. There's a glass there. I think that's going to be, it's a potion that's going to be poured into a glass. I'm pretty sure. Me thinks you're right.
Starting point is 00:08:43 There's no way that's not a potion. Do you drink potions out of a wine glass? Is that a good way to drink them? I mean, if you know how to treat yourself. what do you want to put in your stanley cup alex i don't mind the flavors in the stanley cup i think it's nice it reminds me of the last thing i drank i'm looking at this description here so alison's psychic secret and positive energy you may be striving to live the best life you can you may want more money more energy more happiness
Starting point is 00:09:16 and more time to do the things that really make you happy you want to live a successful abundant in a meaningful life, but most of all, you want freedom to take charge of your own destiny. If you're fed up of dancing to someone else's tune all the time, tired of not having enough resources, bored of the mundane day-to-day monotony, then by turning the power of magic, it can help transform your life.
Starting point is 00:09:36 I have a question. Yes, Claire. Please. Do we think the Z in the name came before or after the discovery of being magical? I think a spell changed it to a Z. I think it was. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:48 the only way to do it yeah yeah first spell no more s a spell that the dmv changed her name i gotta say this is good copy for a witch's page as far as quora is concerned because a lot of the times it's uh it gets a little unnerved by paragraph three but this is like a there's a call to action i'm expecting a website link at the bottom there's an email address email address uh you can email her if you have questions about spells which is pretty awesome and i do I do have a lot of questions. I want to see if I can find her. That's actually good.
Starting point is 00:10:21 I don't think I have any spell questions. All right, never mind. I think I got it. I'm trying to find her profile. We'll see about that by the end of the show, because there's a lot to know about spells, Paul. Well, you make a deal with Satan. That's really what it comes down to, right?
Starting point is 00:10:35 I mean, I'm not crazy here. That's a big one. That's a big one. There's not really much oddness for a space. There's some questions. Those things are about love spells. If my husband was cast under a love spell by someone else, How can I break him free and make him love only me?
Starting point is 00:10:49 It's a bummer. No answers yet. But no answers on it. So there may be no way. I love the actual main question, which is not in Allison's space. She's linking them from other spaces. People are saying there's no love spell you can cast. So you can't do a rival love spell.
Starting point is 00:11:08 Yeah, sorry. It seems like there's a lot of people in the comments saying, look, he doesn't like you anymore. He's just not that into you. This is not a magic thing The romance has gone out of your relationship You should divorce him I talked to the devil
Starting point is 00:11:25 He had no knowledge of this This is completely unknown to him If I may quote the devil Yeesh I don't think Allison has actually answered a single question She's kind of slacking What? This is her space
Starting point is 00:11:41 I think these are her questions Why buy the cow? you know what i mean now paul when you're on quora this is part of the experience is it's unclear how any of it should be working really who asked what question if they're linked from another place uh if they're asked to you when it was asked was it a robot sometimes a robot will ask a question before a person just to head off in case anybody was about to ask the question and that's a feature they offer. They did fix one thing, though. It used to be that to find
Starting point is 00:12:14 the question asker, you had to scroll all the way down to this, but they've actually changed it in the last week. And now you can find it for the first time. You can see who asked the question. The banned account. This is a feature only for Jeremy. It is really. It's mostly for podcasters recording about Quora.
Starting point is 00:12:31 It's very useful to just us. How do you get banned from Quora? Really good question. Dark magic. Oh, you know what? I bet it is. I bet it's if you keep posting. Is anybody who keeps posting that question about if God is so powerful, can you make a rock so big you can't lift it? That's what it is. Yeah, that's the only rule.
Starting point is 00:12:47 It's like, ah, you fell into our trap. Goodbye forever. It's the one way to get banned from Quora.com. The questions website. Do you want to move on to our main questions, Alex? Is there anything you had in here that you wanted to jump on? I guess you could just check out this page if you'd like. there's a lot of good question uh forums mentioned but uh that the spells are going to have to you're
Starting point is 00:13:10 gonna have to email alizon yeah you can send her an email alizon psychic at my yahoo.com i will say i just learned that my yahoo is a place it's not yahoo it's it's my magic spell will rid all negative energy so that's good to know i'm gonna go to our our forbidden knowledge questions alex what is the button for this one is it purple it's the purple one go ahead is that it that that was it this is the show to me okay here's the question is there some truth to this witchcraft bullshit i was always a scientific rationalist but i think i may have a curse on me great way to start so wait what is what do we think this curse is uh we have an answer from satanists yeah who's a warlock and he says no there isn't that's what makes witchcraft bullshit
Starting point is 00:14:07 so this guy is a satanist i guess who who's anti-magic wait you gotta read the rest of the answer neither you nor anyone else has either a curse or blessing upon them if you were really a scientific rationalist you would have understood this fact on your own huh okay so two upvotes Kind of a strange response by Satanus there. There's also one other answer here from JJ Farrell that Quora claims needs improvement. It just says no. I think that's fine.
Starting point is 00:14:38 That's straightforward to me. I think it's fine. It was less rude than Satanus was. Yeah. I guess Satanus is an atheist, he says. Warlock of the Church of Satan, hence an atheist. Right, right, right, right. And his questions are about Star Wars.
Starting point is 00:14:54 He's playing both sides of it How satanic is Star Wars? I'm trying to decide if I like it or not There's a lot of guys with horns on their heads in Star Wars Well, in the cantina scene in part four, A New Hope Straight up, Satan is in there There's a devil in the bar Really?
Starting point is 00:15:16 They had a bunch of Halloween masks And there's like a werewolf in there That they put some glowing eyes in And there's a guy who's just the devil what the hell just getting a damn drink someone with like a Richard Nixon mask
Starting point is 00:15:29 on or something that's absurd someone with a subtle satire okay someone asking a question about Tony Hawk so this is the same this is the guy
Starting point is 00:15:41 who asked the question this is Lame-O-Vision who says Lemley Lemley knows a little about a lot
Starting point is 00:15:49 but a lot about a little take a gander if you dare okay But his real name is Michael Ray Lemley. He's a friend, writer, editor, science communicator, artist, musician, father, husband, brother, son, cousin, uncle, nephew, stalker, voyeur, beetle brain, billboard, dimwit, read it all, et cetera, et cetera. Read the whole thing. Fop doodle.
Starting point is 00:16:12 There's more. OK, he wrote a book. He did write a book, Atomic City Terror, The Curse of the Murderous Dummy. Do you think this is an ad for his book? This Quora question? yeah i want a reader who calls magic bullshit the last person who'd buy a murderous dummy for example there's gotta be there's gotta be a curse on that dummy right in the book there has to be i think so i think there's
Starting point is 00:16:39 he's right he's right michael lemley is the name of the protagonist in the atomic dummy whatever the fuck i thought one of the reboots of chucky i think the new reboot of chucky he's like not a serial killer's soul trapped in a doll he's just like a a murderous ai doll and it was far worse for that is that true he's an ai they switch like they flip kill to on and then he's off to the races from there they never should have even included the switch what the hell are you talking about alex that's from the simpsons and you know it that's the simpsons i think it was in there, if I'm recalling correctly, I saw a lot of movies I didn't really have any
Starting point is 00:17:22 interest in seeing when I had the movie pass. Are you thinking of Megan? Yeah, I'm thinking of Megan. Megan's a Chucky. They made the doll taller. They changed his name. They made him a girl. As woke as Cub for Chucky. You're right.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Megan is a Chucky. I'll give you that. You were calling the movie Lady Chucky, right? And you were saying, let's flood Rotten Tomatoes with negative reviews before it even comes out yeah it really made me mad kind of undercut everything i believe um so i should add that the this question and the next question were sent in by a listener who had searched the word magic bullshit okay so that will come up again this is the next of our
Starting point is 00:18:07 listeners what is the ultimate defense against all mental attacks witchcraft and bullshit simple truth see answer for more the question is also in the answer is in the question truth okay um so is this question by this guy joseph no the question is by mr rocket so i don't know where the answer is this website is so bad let's read joseph's answer first oh no Mr. Rocket's answer is hidden by the website. Oh, wow. This answer needs improvement. Yeah, well, it's like an essay.
Starting point is 00:18:48 I would like to read Mr. Rocket's answer, please, to understand the truth of the matter. Holy shit. It's a lot. Mr. Rocket. What about just the outline? What about just the outline?
Starting point is 00:19:04 So this is Mr. Rocket who works in digital marketing tech, and he's the lead at McGangle, but he also knows about spells um introduction the question of ultimate defense against manipulation whether psychological magical as in witchcraft or deceptive what might be called bullshit is not only philosophical but also practical spiritual psychological and even existential the claim that truth is the ultimate defense is not a mere cliche when examined deeply truth is not just a tool but the ontological ground epistemic shield an existential compass of humanity sanity and
Starting point is 00:19:38 sovereignty in this comprehensive response we will in this essay we will explore what is true we can't read this i think there's 10 points about truth but yeah i think i think if you really want any sub points if you want an epistemic shield this is what you should read but it is a bit dense for for our podcast here rocket mr rocket's profile is just a photo of ninjas Whoa, cool He does seem like a cool guy He has 8,000 questions He does live in the Philippines
Starting point is 00:20:12 Questions like, what do you think of a novel Titled Playing with Madness About how people like to toy with madness I like that Oh my god, he's just doing pitches What do you think of a movie titled Games of Manu About games that the god Manu plays on people With some getting gifts while others tragedies
Starting point is 00:20:34 What do you think about that? This is how they pitched Bloodsport. Yeah, he mostly is interested in titles. Oh my god, wait. Okay, so now we've heard of the movie Cocoon. Right? It's an old movie about old people turning into young people.
Starting point is 00:20:50 They get younger and whatever. What do you think of a sci-fi movie series titled Blue Cocoon about blue pods that can turn elderly people into teens, granting immortality. So it's just Cocoon, but blue? but blue. My issue with cocoon was the color.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Well, blue is in now, Avatar. Right? Exactly. Think about it. This guy says that he needs to know more about the plot. He says there's not enough going on. He says it's an event, sure, but it's not even the plot of a film,
Starting point is 00:21:16 let alone a series. So Harry's telling him no. People are not into it. It doesn't have that next page turn factor. This guy's mad that he has to get ripped off cocoon, but changed it to blue. Well, you must not watch TV. You owe Ron Howard money.
Starting point is 00:21:35 And then let's see. One more answer here says, I'm not a producer. So I'll vote for you. Go off, Francisco. Very humble and fair. You're talking to the wrong guy. I need more pitches. I need more pitches.
Starting point is 00:21:47 I'm on Mr. Rocket's page. I'm reading pitches. What do you think of a novel titled Insincerity about different characters with varying sincerities? Why can't you do sincere or insincere in life? i think it's kind of not enough i gotta be honest i am not a producer i i would love to read a chapter of that oh this guy harry is commenting on all of them that's the whole that's all of course because why does anyone take the time guys i think you'll find that most characters
Starting point is 00:22:20 in stories have varying degrees of sincerity okay so if you've read a story i think you'll find no he's right he's right it does it's true though they do have varying sincerities harry is a phd in history at the university of queensland he follows around mr rocket and answers his pitches yeah no there's 36 000 answers respect oh my god game recognized game he was posting something nine hours ago yeah he's just going around answering people with like multiple paragraphs and he's in australia so i think he just probably went to sleep and he'll be back he'll be back later to answer more questions i'm having i'm having a really scary feeling that this is something i
Starting point is 00:23:05 could start doing oh yeah you're good answering questions on quora i could see myself losing time doing this you'd be one of the most famous quora users immediately because right now i wouldn't do to my actual name. You gotta. There's no way. Paul, if you don't do it, someone's going to pretend to be you. Yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 00:23:24 You know what? Have at it. There's lots of lookalikes. No, don't say that. They're going to do it. Paul, we found an account recently where there's a guy named Eugene Mormon. So maybe you could find
Starting point is 00:23:35 a Mormon version of your personality. Paul F. Mormon. Yeah, that's pretty close. That's good. We're all perfect. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I took a moment to be like, I can't find a pun fast enough.
Starting point is 00:23:51 I'm going to leave it alone. I mean, Claire came in karate chopped right through the thing. Sometimes it's right under your nose. Paul F. Tompkins of Latter-day Saints. It's pretty good. There we go. That's good. Hide in plain sight.
Starting point is 00:24:04 I'm going to move on to another question here. I'm going to close all of these tests. We're not execs ourselves. It's past our ability to approve these films. Here's another question. I don't like women for some reason. What should I do about this? Hey, girls, too.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I like that he's trying to be better. He's like, I don't know what it is, but something about women, it's not working for me. How can I solve this? We have an answer from Bimmy Frizzo who has a master's in misogyny at Riz Training School. Riz Training School. They got to close that Riz Training School.
Starting point is 00:24:43 Nothing good's coming out of there. Bimmy Frizzo says, I hate girls, too. So what? They have a nasty, ungrateful attitude towards you. They gossip to their friends about you, and all they do is shame you for not spoiling them. My advice? Never have a GF. You can't trust girls.
Starting point is 00:24:59 They're nothing but self-entitled bullies who thinks you owe them the world. Love is a myth, my friend. And that has 472 upvotes. I'm going to guess. I feel like Bimmy has never had a girlfriend and is just repeating some talking points. And I wonder how, I feel that must be true of so many of these types of dudes, right? Anyone who comes out of that Riz training school. The Riz training school, I mean, they have federal funding.
Starting point is 00:25:28 I think that's fucked up. Wait. Sorry, I'm just going to say that this guy follows a- Very relevant information. Andrew Tate. But he's got 300 followers. So I imagine this is not really Andrew Tate. This is Paul's account.
Starting point is 00:25:45 All right, you found me. This seems to be a British guy. He's asking a lot of questions about the UK. Why hasn't ACA been banned in the UK? Andrew Tate is a British guy, so that's probably him. Is he? He's British American. He has the most uncanny voice anyone has ever had in the world.
Starting point is 00:26:03 His accent is extremely strange, yeah. All right, there you go. It's unplaceable. I'm going to hit the Anglo Spotted. Anglo Spotted. You did it. You hit the right one. You did a really good job.
Starting point is 00:26:16 Thanks. All right, back to this question. I want to see who asked it. Back to the question, please. Back to the important question of I hate women. So this is the Rebel Alliance are terrorists. This is an Australian who hates the rebels in Star Wars, I assume. It's a bloody Imperial.
Starting point is 00:26:37 What band should I employ to play at my kid's birthday party? Oh, no. Oh, no, he has children. Oasis. I can put it in there. And this is someone who hates women for some reason
Starting point is 00:26:53 and does not know what to do about it. What's my credential? I think gamer was fine. Okay, I'll keep it at gamer. Yeah, it's something that he'll respect. I'm going to go for former doctor. These are all yours, yes? These are ones we put in before.
Starting point is 00:27:14 It's not a drop-down menu when you leave an answer. I wish former doctor was a category. It starts with gamer, then it goes to former doctor 1922, 2025. Those are the two jobs you could have on a four-hour drive. 100 years. Which one are you? There's two types of people in this world. Yep, that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:27:35 I think maybe he has a girl child, and he's coming to terms with the fact that someday she will be woman. And so he has to do something about this. Oh, is that it? Yeah. And mostly he's just like, what do girls like? And what kind of band would they like at their birthday? I think that's where this is coming from. Why don't you get PlayStation instead of dress?
Starting point is 00:27:59 What band would make my child likable to me? No way am I getting Billy Eilish at my house. Not here mentally, not here mentally, he says. I hate them too. I'm not saying they don't deserve higher pay. All right. Well, hey, that's something we could work with. I can't say women anymore because they're too opinionated.
Starting point is 00:28:22 He lists himself as a house husband, father at homes and houses. Not here mentally. That's interesting. So this is kind of like a dominated house husband who is raging online. Oh, this guy seems extremely horny. It's his one outlet. He's jerking off on Quora right now. Okay, well, that's a bit blue.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Thinking about having sex with men. Yeah, it's a bit blue, Cocoon. Can we focus on hating women for one second? His most recent question is, if you are a straight man that is extremely horny, would you care if it's gay or straight sex if you are extremely aroused? So he's gay.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I think so, yeah. That's why I guess he's gay. Well, if you're extremely horny, you might not care of who it's with it. I guess you're right. And then he also wants to know, all of his questions are like, can someone get so horny and aroused
Starting point is 00:29:11 that they're even willing to have the same sex for that orgasm? And then he asks, why does it seem like you entered another dimension when someone moves to Pennsylvania? You got me there. is the idea that when someone you know moves to pennsylvania you have entered another dimension i guess wait what happened to me unclear
Starting point is 00:29:41 this was the alternate title to it's always sunny in philadelphia yes that feeling when it's another dimension in pennsylvania i think this is his only non-sex question is the pennsylvania one so apparently he's married why does my wife get mad at me because i totally dismiss and don't take her seriously at all no you're just having a laugh on quora.com yeah stop having a laugh um come on man yeah there's a lot of discourse in this anti-woman uh segment here i wanted to see if there was someone answering with advice i mean this one sounds like um does but i i would have to pay money to read it uh okay so jeremy is not Jeremy is not on the official Quariator's account,
Starting point is 00:30:26 which has, as of two weeks ago, officially signed up for Quarrel Plus and can read all of Athena Walker's answer. The one answer that's not like, you're right to hate women. No, it's about retraining yourself and doing the work. How much does it cost?
Starting point is 00:30:43 $4 a month. Jeremy, we cannot buy it twice. It's bad enough we bought it the first time. We can't pay them twice for this. You don't think that's an investment in the podcast? Come on. We did the investment. You gotta believe in yourself.
Starting point is 00:30:58 We're just on a different computer. We have to get it twice. Listen, I'm the CFO of this company. I can't let you do this. And I will remember to blur my credit card number that popped up on screen before putting this on YouTube. well i guess we'll ask paul what do you think women's deal is well i mean i'm married to a woman and she seems okay i i can't vouch she might be out there gossiping about me to her friends i'm sorry that's my baby hey shut up oh thank god
Starting point is 00:31:43 i thought it was mine my baby's a woman by the way no surprise there it's so scary to actually read this stuff all in one place which i've never i've resisted the temptation to do thus far well it's helpful on quora because at least it's not like coherent in any way like you go to reddit everyone's making like very uh i don't know good sentences about why they hate women but here it's like links and things yeah uh okay i'm gonna move on to other question uh let's do the quoker which is our our incel and manosphere questions a perfect segment find this button again the quoker has steve miller introduced another category of person in his song the joker that's what it is it's from the joker song
Starting point is 00:32:33 definitely not for a quoker uh this question is i'm not scared of anything is that normal no it's not normal it's highly abnormal all my life i had dreams and i am not afraid to die i'm looking forward to it that doesn't mean you're not afraid of nothing i don't want to play the game society anymore game over death is precious to me when it happens i will be free from society's game that's from i think you might be scared of some things that was four years ago check up on bud greens if you know him also check up on the 277 upvotes all everybody needs to check in after this one bud greens has not posted again since then but i'll give him a follow to see shout out bud greens there is hope there's a hundred plus
Starting point is 00:33:23 answers so a lot of discourse on this one this is probably just alex honnold right this is the rock climber who has no fear oh yeah my fingers are thick as sausages that doesn't even bother me anymore it's either alex honnold or the king of england we know that i'm always grilling these damn things by accident do you think king charles secretly free climbs yeah i think that's why his fingers are like that yeah i think he's free soloing the same way you're free soloing anonymously on Quora, he's anonymously climbing rocks. A lot of our favorite climbers famously wear
Starting point is 00:34:00 masks, and you have to wonder, royal family? Is this someone I know and love? That is so true. They're all wearing the costume from a scanner darkly. It's true. So many of my favorite climbers do wear masks.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I'm only just realizing that now. Can you imagine if you were a free climber and you lived in a castle you could climb that castle all the time oh heaven take me to the parapet listen i got a pitch for that guy what if there was a what if there was a story okay jack and the beanstalk but jack was a free solo climber and that's how he got up to the giant's lair okay but can i ask you what level of sincerity all the characters have um if you've ever read a story before you know that characters have varying
Starting point is 00:34:49 degrees of sincerity, so case closed. Oh, great. There's a fucking AI answer here that says that feeling not scared of anything can be normal in some contexts. Thank God. I don't think that's true, AI bot. The computer said it's fine.
Starting point is 00:35:06 It said fear is an ape's emotion, it says. Alex, would you say that the Quora AI is a Chucky or no? Great question. Yeah, I think it's a form of Chucky and the switch is wrong. Cool. Do you think it's a lady Chucky or a man Chucky? I think it's a girl because I'm so mad at it all the time.
Starting point is 00:35:27 And it wants to be pampered. Wait, there's a photo of, is this the back of a cobra? Am I looking at the back of a cobra? I think you are, yeah. It does look like the back of a cobra. What am I looking at? Are you scared when you look above or not? If not, it's a problem.
Starting point is 00:35:44 I don't know what it is. I am not scared. He spelled Cobra with a K. Oh, damn. It's not that you should not be scared of anything. If Cobra comes in front of you, it's important that you are scared. I mean, maybe he's talking about the G.I. Joe villains, right? That's with a K.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Yeah, Cobra Commando. Yeah. I mean, this is clearly like a screenshot from Google, because you can still kind of see the text at the bottom. It's also, that's the back of a Cobra. Show me the front, and maybe I'm scared. You know what I mean? Why am I afraid of a Cobra walking away?
Starting point is 00:36:14 Yeah. Yeah. The back of a cobra, I just assume we're doing from behind sex and finally getting what I want. Now I am frightened, actually. I thought it was a bird when we scrolled down here for a while. Also thought it was a bird. Thought it was a bird.
Starting point is 00:36:33 I like that he ends this with, may the force be with you. Yes. I got the theme for the day wrong. The theme is Star Wars and Star Wars related questions. I wonder if he does it for all of them. No. Just that one. This is Harry Ohm.
Starting point is 00:36:51 He's a personal life coach. So this guy only, he's answered 30 questions, but he doesn't say, may the force be with you all the time. It was just for that one he decided was a Star Wars question. Well, that person needed the force. That person needed the force. Yeah. This answer's missing something.
Starting point is 00:37:05 Oh, the force. If you're going to approach a cobra with a K, you might need the force. This is a life coach from Jomshedpur, and I assume you can pay them to get live Quora responses about your situation. This is just an ad for Facelift.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Don't worry about that, Claire. That's not part of it. That's unrelated. In fact, it's for pictures of animals that might make you afraid. Nice and high tiger. I don't know. Aging naturally is pretty scary to me. I'm hitting that more than I'm seeing a tiger. Having a wrinkly neck?
Starting point is 00:37:38 I think if you actually saw a tiger, you wouldn't feel that way. I guess now I can see who asked the question without having to scroll forever so i can see oh anonymous helpful it's the same thrill for us along for the ride well i'll do another question here here's another one this is on mindhacks.cora.com this is 13 signs of a weak person well they have a big slot in their back that's one of them if you have a big slot in your back and you have machinery in there you're a weak person makes you pretty vulnerable immediately here there is an uh an ai woman you got a side slot on your neck also not good makes you weak it's got like headphones plugged
Starting point is 00:38:18 into her shoulders or something she is a battle angel alita style setup you know what it is is she's missing just large chunks of skin from her neck so that's that's a sign of weakness for one claire fully left claire's like i can't i don't want to know i don't want to approach I told you you show me a robot girl and I'm leaving do you think that Claire has a big slot in her back with machinery you know what I've never seen her turn around and she's like oh no I'm weak
Starting point is 00:38:47 it's one of the signs yeah she knows there's something about Claire where she has to pee 40 minutes into every podcast and I think it could be changing her oil here's the signs may I? please please
Starting point is 00:39:00 number one can't say no number two always watching adult videos number three thinks they can't change their problems number four controlled by their bad habits number five talks behind people's backs a lot i think i think we're closing in on it a woman can't take feedback well number seven easily swayed by what others think has trouble taking action blames others for their unhappiness chooses fun over important things isn't fun an important thing come on i thought so you gotta have fun they really front-loaded this with number two being always
Starting point is 00:39:36 watching adult videos. I know. Are these in order of gravity? The second most important sign of a weak person? Always watching adult videos. Doesn't keep in touch with us. Who are you? Am I included in this?
Starting point is 00:39:54 Who's us? This is so crudely about their son. Their bad son. Number 13 doesn't keep in touch with us, Daniel. And then we've got Goyslop here who says, this list is stupid. These lists are always so stupid. I've got to agree with Goyslop on this one.
Starting point is 00:40:17 Always cutting to the core of things. I think I remember Goyslop being a neo-Nazi. It is, yeah. Goyslop is like a conspiracy theory that the Jews are making everyone. eat bad food or whatever. But hey, you know, yeah, you got one thing right. The list is stupid. Can I read Eddie Love's backing up of Goyslop? It's very
Starting point is 00:40:40 dramatic. Yes. Exactly. Very irritating. So I should be keeping in touch with people that don't care about me so that I... Oh no! And he trails off because they're in the room with him now. And then someone else said, you didn't sentence. That's frightening.
Starting point is 00:40:58 This person, Eddie Love, could have been attacked in his home, and we're making fun of him? I think he got to that part of the sentence and realized that he was the weak person we were describing all along. Oh, shit. Oh, my God, that's me.
Starting point is 00:41:15 Oh, Eddie Love is a woman. Oh, she's a lovely Nigeria girl from a decent home. I apologize, Eddie Love. All right, there you go. Yeah, she's mostly just asking about Nigeria and getting a visa to the U.S. Oh, great timing. So go off, Eddie Love.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Great timing, girl. There's never been a better time. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I don't know. All the answers here are just people complaining. Wait, could you go back up? Please, yeah, of course. Michaelidis.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Okay, I got, for a second, my eyes scanned that incorrectly, and I thought it was somebody I knew. It's a Roman name. Dropout star, Phyllis Michaelidis. That's right. That's Vic's gladiator name. I think everyone on Cora is a very important person. Hey, is the baby talking over there?
Starting point is 00:42:00 Is that how she's your baby? Would you be quiet? She's starting a different podcast with the other room I'm doing a podcast So sorry about that, guys I don't even know whose baby that is She's just working on her own thing over there She's trying to talk to Paul's baby
Starting point is 00:42:17 She doesn't know she can't hear Can we see who wrote this question? This list is Ayaz Ali So he's got a bunch of lists Okay That's something I could read into a microphone Seven mental loops avoidance experience during no contact Okay
Starting point is 00:42:36 Yeah, that's important Oh, he's got like articles So he's got a medium that he's sharing He's trying to get us onto medium Crazy list in bio Damn, I forgot about medium I refuse to sign up for medium Based on that title, what do you think this is about?
Starting point is 00:42:50 Seven mental loops avoidance experience during Avoidance is a classification of person Yeah Right. And then they are told to go no contact. They're saying, I'm going no contact with you, avoidant. And then the avoidant has these seven mental loops that they experience. Okay. So this is just saying, this is going to happen if you're an avoidant. Paul, for reference, an avoidant is featured in the cantina scene during Star Wars Episode IV. There's a straight up avoidant. There's a guy in an avoidant mask. i am i i am sticking to my theory that this guy is writing about his kid who doesn't like him so this is probably his uh porn addicted son who has gone no contact so he's writing now like this
Starting point is 00:43:32 is what you're going to experience if you avoid me and it says why your healing does not depend on them we'll see what happens when i write about your mental loops maybe he's also just no contact by default of watching so many adult videos yeah he won't look up from shyla style's latest content you honestly want to have a conversation with me while i'm doing this i mean come on i mean we can but you know is that what you want this is a new character really cocky porn addict i'm in the middle of something what is it i'm watching porn i'm working i'm gonna follow him is there anything else on this you wanted to see alex you had something here or now i mean i'm only i basically wanted to see the list and now they
Starting point is 00:44:22 know the list now we know though that someone said this is me but what's the solution for being weak okay i am tagged in this and i do not like it some people just say being weak is part of life so i guess you know now you know you're weak nothing to change i guess at the end of the day you gotta laugh again the the big back slit with uh coils was not addressed at all by anybody it's it's jim making me feel crazy it looks like her spine is a comb she has combed spine and that's why she looks like when uh drake turned into sprite or whatever when he turned into sprite which has been coming up more and more but is the most relevant it's
Starting point is 00:45:06 ever been with this picture you ever see that commercial from like 15 years ago where drake Turns into Sprite. He's a robot made of Sprite. His blood is Sprite. What? Pull that up. He drinks the Sprite, and then he becomes the Sprite. Turns out he's a Chucky of his own, and he turns into Sprite.
Starting point is 00:45:29 Oh, he's a Sprite Chucky. No. I don't like that. Well, the Sprite tells him what to wrap, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It says, sugar, wrap about sugar. Tell him about wine. Like, this wasn't a Super Bowl commercial, was it?
Starting point is 00:45:44 It may have been. It looks like it would have been, huh? I truly have no idea. Apparently, let's see. Sprite TV spot, 2014. Feb. February. It might have been.
Starting point is 00:45:53 Yeah. It was around then. Its tagline was For the Thirsty, if you were wondering. Great. I was wondering. It's For the Thirsty. All right, I'm going to go to another question here. Yeah, we don't need to watch the full ad now.
Starting point is 00:46:05 When you see Super Bowl, I'd take a big, what they think is a big swing, and it's just mortifying just like oh no one even at the height of drake's fame would anyone have cared about that commercial no i don't want to listen to him if he's made of sprite it was made to be referenced in 12 years on a podcast ahead of its time um alex we have time for like one or two more is there one you want to do in particular because pick a magical one because the romance ones get a bit lusty what happened to magic i know right are we out of magic questions we're not out of magic it's just a loser interpretation of magic all right well i mean we could do these these these um quora md questions which button is that alex it is the green button on panel
Starting point is 00:46:56 one no that's Godzilla charging up this is Godzilla and he's destroying downtown close enough are people opening their eyes to the fact that polio and coronavirus are basically the exact same thing
Starting point is 00:47:14 so this is a form of magic yes it's plague magic when is this from it's gotta be from 2023? 2023 is a bit late to be calling it
Starting point is 00:47:29 Corona, right? Well, that's how long it took to figure it out that it was pretty much... Right, right. Fair enough, fair enough. I'm learning that actually the guy... The novel coronavirus? The guy who wrote it appears to be a fuck-nit, according to Melva, so that's on me.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Fuck-nit. Alright, so go back to Anglo Spotted, which is, of course, panel four. we spotted you you're an anglo got your ass so tony j wood says uh here's an experiment for you go into town and contract covid you'll be sick as a dog for a couple weeks maybe more and maybe less depending upon how tough you are and judging from your posts you are one of the toughest parenthesis snark and then it says snark step two go and contract polio go all out we wouldn't want you to skimp on the experiment and when the last iron lung manufacturer says to you sorry we
Starting point is 00:48:26 haven't done one of those for about 50 years get back to us if you can and describe what the difference is we'll wait but i doubt iron lungs in this country the iron lung seems boring to be and it seems very lonely. No, it's not. It's great. Okay, never mind. Super fun in there. Helps you live.
Starting point is 00:48:46 All right, that's not me. I'm totally alone on that one. It's pretty much Luke's bacta tank. Polio in the 1950s caused public anxiety only secondary to the fear of nuclear annihilation, which was present then.
Starting point is 00:49:00 I remember that. Thank you, Cecilia. She works in pediatrics. So there you go. There's some people with real questions. I'm old enough to have gone to grade school
Starting point is 00:49:11 first through third grade with a girl who had polio. She had braces on her legs. It was wild. Do you know her well enough to text her now and ask if it's similar to COVID or Corona? I could probably hunt her down. In the next five to ten minutes?
Starting point is 00:49:28 I remember her full name. Which I'm sure is the same now. Hey, how's it going? Did you like the new movie Iron Lung? It's kind of about your whole thing. I'm sure she can joke about it. It's been long enough. We can all joke about it now. We haven't spoken in 50 years, probably.
Starting point is 00:49:48 I'm sure she'd love to hear from me with this question. The same old cut up I remember. She's like way older for some reason. She's like nine years old. How did this? Is polio like the Jack disease? I don't know. All the answers are just here.
Starting point is 00:50:11 People being like, you're really dumb and I hate you. Yeah, I feel like everybody's being cheeky monkeys in the comments. This is what happens when you try to have a good faith discourse. There's a picture of Albert Einstein laughing at him, which I don't think he ever did. You don't think Albert Einstein ever laughed? I don't think he laughed at this guy. I think it's incorrect to use his picture. I think that the picture is meant to indicate that Albert Einstein would laugh at this guy.
Starting point is 00:50:38 And he's very smart. I think out of context, Albert Einstein could have been laughing at even the fact that Corona and polio are the same. Put it on the board. Put it on there. Put it on there. Come on, Jeremy. Reply to that and say, I don't think Albert Einstein really laughed at this person. Okay, wait, hold on.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Let's see. I don't have comments on this. Provide the timeline. Unfortunately, the website is unusable. The comments are disabled. The comments are disabled. Too many people told him Albert Einstein didn't laugh at that. That's how you get it.
Starting point is 00:51:09 Nonetheless, under an image of the Smurfs laughing as well. I can thank him. What the fuck does that mean? I've never known we could. What is it? Wait a minute. It just says thanks sent. What is a thanks?
Starting point is 00:51:19 Thanks sent. What does that mean? Can we get thanked? Should we be getting thanked on here? I don't know. Why don't you post and ask for thanks? We're on Quora Plus. We need thanks.
Starting point is 00:51:31 Post a question and say, why have we not been thanked yet? can you thank us simple truth there we go now I was going to try to change your question go ahead and send it in I'm not going to do that should I tag anyone just throw in Eugene Mormon
Starting point is 00:51:51 Eugene Mormon can you tag Alizon yeah throw in Eugene Mormon and Vicadius Michaelius we've been tagging Eugene Mormon a lot I wonder if he's going to block us soon I don't remember what the actual spelling was. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:52:07 He's a doctor. He likes to help. Be sure to watch the YouTube to see Jeremy failed to type vacadius into the chat. That wasn't the real name. All right. Here's one more question before we do a final thing. Why can't I get grunk or high?
Starting point is 00:52:23 What is grunk? Is it a misspelling of crunk? Could be. Or drunk, even. I think it's a level beyond. Claire, of course. Of course. Of course.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Okay, so hold on. Important to know that this guy is a Guy Fawkes-Best-style horror user. Ignore him. He's grunk. His three questions are the grunk one and then also, if a skyscraper gets destroyed from the upper part, does it just fall down or it's just the upper part that is destroyed and the skyscraper keeps standing?
Starting point is 00:53:00 9-11 question. 9-11 research why can't they get high or drunk Osama bin El no answers on that one either there's an elaboration on the question which is his next one because I guess he didn't
Starting point is 00:53:15 get anything on why can't I get grunk or high or didn't know how to change it to drunk so he asked another question right after why can't I get high or drunk I've smoked weed and drunk alcohol but got zero effect one time I drunk with a friend and we tried the same one he got drunk but I am not, so I smoked three joints
Starting point is 00:53:31 with two grams, no effect. Weed is good quality, 100%. Damn. I like how he's like heading off all these questions in the past. Before you ask, it was good quality weed. I've tested it. Me and my friend tried the same thing.
Starting point is 00:53:47 How much was in the joints? Two grams. You're just built different. This guy says you're delusional. You're not trying hard enough. Keep practicing. Oh, we've lost Paul again. I'm offended by how grunk we are at this podcast.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Oh my God, so funny. Tired of answering questions about getting grunk all the time. Guys, I'm sorry. Full disclosure, I'm a little bit grunk. Yeah, I was going to say. I got sick of trying to feel something with drugs and alcohol, and I was like, it's time to get grunk. well with weed that good how can you not i find i can only truly get grunk through the faith in
Starting point is 00:54:36 my lord jesus christ he gets you grunk every time and no hangover no hangover feels good every morning uh there's one answer here do you want to read this answer real quick alex from steven galvin the guy who says why can't i get higher drunk steven galvin who is a former semi-retired Art Educator University in 6-12 at Simi Valley. Wait, so he's doing it again. He's back to being an art educator?
Starting point is 00:55:00 He's a former retired art educator. He's back to it. Former semi-retired. They keep calling me back in. I'm trying to answer Quora questions. Steven says,
Starting point is 00:55:12 Why do you want to? I have been there and done that. It proves to be less than rewarding in both cases. May I suggest that you explore experiencing, relishing,
Starting point is 00:55:21 savoring the good things there are this can range from fine single malt scotch to first growth wines rare coffee a great lover a rewarding walk the list goes on life is for living drunk or high is a way to escape confront that which are fleeing enjoy wow it's beautiful why don't you stop trying to get drunk and have a single malt scotch right a great lover i was gonna say down vote that motherfucker okay nevermind i'll download it he's contradicting himself yeah triggered claire from six years ago afraid that steven's having top-notch sex somewhere he's too busy teaching the children the clip on the clip on sunglasses are cool you know what honestly he's he's he's
Starting point is 00:56:08 making him work this isn't and i have face blindness but this isn't the guy who runs jurassic you know because that's an evil that's a bad guy i don't want to platform him on our show he shouldn't bring dinosaurs back like that he does look very most dangerous gamey yeah the neckerchief he does french the most dangerous game a fine wine all his questions now are about trump he wants to know why trump has able been able to commit the seven deadly sins He's fighting the good fight on Quora.com. All right, brother. God can't stop him.
Starting point is 00:56:46 No. All right, well, those are all of our questions. Before we go, though, we've got a listener question. We've been asking our listeners to send us Quora-style questions on our email, QuoraEaters at gmail.com. Alex, what button is this one? It's on the fifth panel on the bottom right, and this is our listener calling question.
Starting point is 00:57:06 Is that okay? is that okay by the way you should keep this as a feature not knowing where the buttons are which button is it and then the button description it's very exciting it makes it sound like you're that alex is trying to get help jeremy land a plane that he has no experience i was gonna cut it out but if we think it's top-notch podcast quality stuff honestly i i say keep it in it delights me every time keep it all in and i think it's important for all the people who insist i don't know where the buttons are when i know that is true well you know that i can talk jeremy through it i just assume you didn't know where they were this is yeah i'm my there's egg
Starting point is 00:57:52 on my face for sure i close my eyes and i see the buttons okay what's the list paul is an avid couriers listener constantly commenting on our youtube alex doesn't know where the buttons are Howie's missed the button again. Why won't he label the buttons? Well, the button got played miraculously. Nice. Perfect. I know that one.
Starting point is 00:58:16 I know this page pretty well. I know this is George H.W. Read my lips. Okay. I didn't realize he had the whole thing. I thought it was just read my lips. well because i usually cut it off and then add a new thing but this time it's no more taxes what's the question hello core raiders i drink a lot of energy drinks like one or one a day sometimes two
Starting point is 00:58:43 and i heard that um if you drink too much energy drinks it can like make your penis small it can make your balls small it can make your balls shrivel off and fall off it can make your your cum bad. It can make your piss bad. It can kill you. It can give you all kinds of bad stuff. So I just want to know is that true or am I going to live forever? I'm sorry to tell you this. It's never easy for me
Starting point is 00:59:06 to tell a patient this, but you have bad piss. You are cumming bad and your piss is bad. Well, piss and cum are bad. What have you been drinking? Your penis is falling off and the cum underneath is bad. um no to answer your question you will live forever keep drinking
Starting point is 00:59:25 time slows down around you if it gives you more energy i don't see how it would not make you immortal because anytime you are feeling close to death you just drink an energy drink right i'm not crazy right that's true no yeah it's just logic this is like how the president uh sees energy and he's like 95 years old and in charge of america so i think that you should at least be drinking he has a really good speech they're like doing uh what lance armstrong where they like injected him with all new blood so he could ride faster they're just doing that with like monster energy drink for donald trump yeah he's full of balls from 2008 wouldn't it be mortifying if that theory turned out to be correct that you have a finite amount of energy
Starting point is 01:00:11 So you shouldn't exercise. Like, ah, fuck. He was right. It's a really convenient theory. I got my personal training certificate when my baby was born and you have to drink as much monster energy drink as you can.
Starting point is 01:00:25 This is medical advice. If there's 13 things I know about Donald Trump it's that he can't say no, he's addicted to adult films, he's whatever. And then we don't remember the other 10 things Because I got too focused on the second one. He's not in contact with us.
Starting point is 01:00:42 He doesn't keep in touch with us. Yeah, this guy, he's a weak person. I hope that answers your question. Thank you for writing in with your Quora-style question. Send us yours, quorators at gmail.com. I bet your piss is great. Your piss is fine. I bet it's fine.
Starting point is 01:01:02 Honestly, I bet it tastes good, too. Stop worrying about your piss so much. Yes. I bet your piss and cum both taste great. This is why when I go on a safari adventure And I think I might get lost I have a bunch of Mountain Dews So if I have to go Bear Grylls mode
Starting point is 01:01:16 I know it'll taste good It's a system that feeds itself And with that we're going to close out Jeremy hit the theme song button again Paul thank you so much for coming on Turn it up a little bit Where can our listeners find your work At Home and Abroad
