Starting point is 00:00:00 I understand that somebody could do more things with audiophiles somewhere, but it's not I. The genuine confusion I feel seeing the lines go up and down. Like a caveman. It means they're laughing. Listening to my own voice for that long every week sounds like my form of Gitmo. It's not fun. You have to stare at your own face for a long time because we're on video too. It really stops me from feeling too good about myself. at any given time, so that's helpful.
Starting point is 00:00:32 I'm very grateful the boys have to look at my face for hours on end. I just love looking at Claire. That's when it gets fun, is when I get to look at Claire. It's an opportunity to look at Claire. See what she's doing with, like, straws. My fidget spinner. Trying to figure out what Claire's doing
Starting point is 00:00:49 in the background of our podcast. There's usually a prop. There's a lot of subtle elements to Claire's YouTube performance. Claire's sort of like the carrot top of podcasting. Agreed. That's on the steroid use I'm yoked I guess the difference would be like
Starting point is 00:01:04 If 90% of the audience could not see Carrot Top But he was waving a crazy prop around Yeah, the bunch of cool stuff Okay, we're doing it We're just going to start the show then It's Quarators you heard it here folks with the sound of the robot you're back to another week on quarators
Starting point is 00:01:37 america's premier quora based podcast hello hello quarators weather report we're in space this week oh yeah it's night time because we're in space yeah it's all the eternal night up is down well they had to be gate is down i hear yes well that will come up soon spoilers for uh soon but you know what you're gonna love this great episode we're really cracking the website open and using it as it was intended to be used and asking important science questions so who better to come on than a science fictional author himself and that is of course from the legendary uh donkeys led by lions podcast mr joe kasabian no you got it backward it's fine alex has you've mixed up he's wearing a shirt that says the name of it
Starting point is 00:02:23 I closed my eyes because I was sure I got it right this time. Donkeys could be led by lions, too. I understand it's an inversion of the thing. I'm trying to disrupt the podcasting space of my own podcast. You know what my problem was? I was looking at my page for punch-ups for Joe. Why not try it the other way around? but I need to go back to the beats of our podcast,
Starting point is 00:02:55 which is introducing guests. Joe, welcome. Hey, thanks for having me. Hey, man. Thanks for coming on. You've been on Quora before? Unfortunately, yeah. I always saw it as the slightly more damaged cousin
Starting point is 00:03:09 of Yahoo Answers. Yeah, I think that's right. Functionally, it's a place for answers, but it's also a place where writers can gather and trade their craft. It is interesting that Yahoo Answers was the answers website, but Quora is the questions website. And now we're without answers. Yes.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Ever since we've lost Yahoo Answers, it's answering sister. Everything has an equal and opposite effect, Jeremy. Any scientist worth his salt is sure to tell you. That's right. Do you remember answers.com? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yo.
Starting point is 00:03:44 I'll never forget. i know you didn't bring up answers.com i might be working on a new podcast with some oh no i'm very excited for you that's gonna be the one answeristas it's just lost culture vistas and claire they go on answers.com it's much more popular than our show then We're doing science fiction stuff this week I was allowed, I was given permission In the research phase by messaging
Starting point is 00:04:17 Joe, Joe said if I get desperate I could also include fantasy Oh really That mostly didn't come to pass But Joe your books are like Just sci-fi right, they're not really doing fantasy stuff All the way up until now It's been science fiction
Starting point is 00:04:32 The one that's coming out at the end of May Is my first fantasy novel But I am definitely a sci-fi guy uh i just kind of got bored writing science fiction so i decided to try something that i've always wanted to do um we'll see if it's if it's worth it we don't know that's the fun part kim stanley robinson did one so i feel like you should get to do one you should be allowed there's a lot of sci-fi authors that kind of do both i think some of them are certainly better than one of them the other we'll we'll see which one of those i fall into i have no idea uh that's
Starting point is 00:05:08 I think this is going to be your big thing. George R.R. Martin was a sci-fi author before he took all the names and made them fantasy novels. It's all made up stuff and I don't believe one word of it. Claire talks about fantasy novels like
Starting point is 00:05:24 atheists talk about religion in 2005. I'm sort of the Ricky Gervais of books. Yeah. Are you going to crucify yourself holding a whole book stand behind you? yeah oh you believe in gandalf
Starting point is 00:05:39 fucking idiot um when they say when people say hard sci-fi they say that's actually hard sci-fi what do they mean by that it's like really couched like the true space physics of it all um and like getting into the weeds of technology and stuff like that
Starting point is 00:05:56 it's because it's hard to enjoy yeah yes yeah i agree we're pounding it and then there's just other science fiction that's supposed to like yeah space exists it works this way don't worry about it which is what i enjoy yeah i've done i've done like a lot of like perusing around like the more serious liturgical sci-fi works that people tell you to read you know a lot of the 1950s stuff that's like somewhat plausible i guess and i've really found that i am just looking for slop
Starting point is 00:06:24 i like when they're like and we figured out atmospheres so they're all good now and i'm like good good good that opens things up i don't want to worry about that you killed all the robots don't worry about robots robots are people now we've truly entered the slop era so you should be eating good i mean there's already ai copies of like multiples of my book oh my god include like a weird sex one which is pretty great because of all the ones they decided to turn into a weird sex ai slop content no they picked the one that i wrote about my time in afghanistan which is incredible to me i'm like well i'm glad somebody's having sex because it wasn't me are you fucking people in the in the ai version of the book they take the real you it's called
Starting point is 00:07:09 like hooligans and masters and has like someone bent over someone's knee and like the the fucking ai cover art is all warped as shit and it's just completely under my name as well like even bother coming up with an ai name which really confuses amazon results to the point that people keep like pinging me and like hey you never said anything about a new book coming out I'm like yeah I took my time off from writing science fiction and war fantasy to write like a
Starting point is 00:07:36 BDSM novel to rewrite your own book as a BDSM novel no that's for like that's when you want you have like a fake name and then you take erotica out of your own stuff I know people who do that and they make a lot of money honey I'm jealous I'm fucking jealous
Starting point is 00:07:52 I wish I could write that shit they're making more money than I am it sounds like a good idea i mean it mostly sounds i've been just using your name sounds illegal but i i'm not a lawyer myself yeah for sure yeah it's super illegal that's the fun part it's it's very illegal and if you like my my publisher and everything has sent multiple letters to like amazon to get take it down absolutely nothing has come of it so it's cool that you could just like steal people's identity now if you don't answer those letters you're in you're fine yeah no crime has occurred if you're just some AI-generating dickhead.
Starting point is 00:08:27 All right, well, we have a lot to get to this week, so I think we should get right into it. First, we're going to start with our Space of the Week here on Space Week. It's Quarators. Space of the Week! Alex, you've put two Spaces of the Week. I know, I know I put two Spaces of the Week.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Do the top one. Okay. This first one is Soul Connections of Love. That's S-O-U-L, soul. So don't get it twisted. Oh, boy. Yeah, it's not like a Korean connections of love space. Well, I thought maybe it was like the only corrections.
Starting point is 00:08:59 No. It's the sole connection. Sorry, not corrections. There's a lot of things it could be. And also, one of the contributors is Carl Rocket, which is a good space name. Oh, my God. I see where you're going with this. I see where you're going with this.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Oh, my God. One of the contributors is Orson Scott Card? Yes. And now we get into the reason for the season. Orson Scott Card is a Quora Power user. I went on his account to see what he's up to. He answered something four hours before I looked. He uses it every day, and he is a contributor in many, many spaces.
Starting point is 00:09:34 This is one of them. And this is just him sitting down and rapping about this game we call love. Really? All of the questions are about wrestling in the bathroom. I cannot think of a guy in sight. Actually, I can think of a few, but if I could list them, top five dudes I would not ask relationship advice from, it would be Orson
Starting point is 00:09:55 Scott Card. That's too bad, he has the most answers. Okay, so I would like to just peruse through these questions. We don't even have to read through any of them, but I would like to just say some Isn't it fun that Orson Scott Card
Starting point is 00:10:13 in the book Ender's Game kind of invented the idea of blogging, and now he's addicted to Quora? Yeah, he fell into his own trap there. Colonel Graff's Gambit, they call it. I can't believe of all the places that Orson Scott Card can't stop posting, it's Quora. Yeah, it could be a lot worse. It's the most fun one to be on.
Starting point is 00:10:34 But he's mostly saying normal stuff. He's not even posting any... Because he's a racist, right? Isn't he notably racist? He really hates gay people. He really hates some gay people. he's mostly just posting about like you know history and like being like hey don't forget to write every day if you want to get better and stuff like that and look how many spaces he
Starting point is 00:10:57 contributes to scroll up okay and if you click on the view more he covers aging with attitude we love the 70s oh hell yeah the world history of war and peace which sounded funny but i clicked on and was very dry why is he a part of so many relationship forums he's got a lot of it it's the juicy stuff it's where what you want to be doing on quora so that's what we end up doing 90 of the time on here yeah it's true is he in these answers should we like look around how fast does it take for souls to get to heaven does he like in there a leonard wide man says thousands of fucking years and that's the only answer nice submission accepted by helena thank you well she's a dating and marriage coach helena let in the wide man
Starting point is 00:11:46 why why is a relationship coach shit saying like oh yeah that's a good answer thousands of fucking years because that's the right one wait i want to read um my boyfriend called me called another girl a baddie in front of me should i break up with him oh that's a good question i i hope that was a prompt by orson scott card there's no way to know just get the ball rolling it's unfortunate we can't find with it it's their website is not good enough that we can't see like what he's up to in here i don't think we can see this is from iris monique monique i mean we can agree though that you can't call someone a baddie in front of your girlfriend No, you should break up with him.
Starting point is 00:12:28 It's very young and sexual. And because they're on Quora, the fact that they're posting it to Quora means that they're way too old to be using the term baddie anyway. It's like a 55-year-old man calling someone a baddie. Well, there's probably an active-duty police officer, if my experience has been any indicator. So he looks like a thumb. Sometimes they're retired, too.
Starting point is 00:12:54 It's not just active-duty. I'm desperately trying to find Orson Scott Card's advice in this dating section. That requires this website to work better than it does, though. I don't think it can. Yeah, it's driving me somewhat insane. I can see that he has 33 contributions, but unfortunately, he has 9,000 answers. 9,000 answers. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:13:22 There's really no way to know. He's always brewing. He has more answers on Quora than I have Twitter posts, and that's a problem because I am too online as it is. For Quora, it's actually a pretty moderate output because we come across people with, like, three, like, quarter of a million answers on things where they're just trying to get their numbers out.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Good Lord. Like, one-word answers. Aliens. Divorce. Next. What do they get for that? Are they trying to pump up their Quora sabermetrics? What the fuck is the goal?
Starting point is 00:13:51 Similar to Twitter, there was a thing, like, 10 or 15 years ago where like you could get a book deal if you got your stats up jordan peterson got us started on quora i guess and it was writing career uh so i don't know if maybe they're just on the game too late but orson scott cards in it for the love of the game and uh he's asked about divorce a lot yeah so there's a question here would you would you remarry after a divorce and orson says if she'll have me back of course i married the love of my life my life if she divorced me she must have had a reason oh he's doing science fiction again though she has not divorced him thank god the reason why you've got divorced is because you are orson scott card and
Starting point is 00:14:32 you're an asshole i imagine this is someone who married orson scott card it's probably some other twisted intellect it's just it's it's there's something surreal about seeing him just do like hey i mean i love my wife answers and we know that he's like an evil man well yeah he's probably doing it from a really impressive chair i loved ender's game as a kid so i don't know i've read it three times it's great i read ender's shadow it really is the first book i read when i was like 12 where i finished it and i was like that was the most fun i've ever had he invented cool video games in it that book and uh uh the phantom toll booth were the books that all the boyfriends I had in high school.
Starting point is 00:15:17 It told me. That was the real connecting. The problem with Ender's Game is it's written by a guy who at the end of it is like, and also all of this is a good idea. Yes. Sometimes you've got to do that.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Sometimes you have to edit the N-word out of your book in future editions. What are you going to do? And I'm not talking about the Phantom Tollbooth. Leave the boy fight. That's plot pivotal.
Starting point is 00:15:43 All right, well, We'll go to our other space of the week because it's more on theme, but I did want to get into what he's been contributing. Okay, this is Gray Aliens of Ducked Humans. This is an interesting space. We're familiar with the idea of the gray aliens. Do we all know the gray aliens? I don't think.
Starting point is 00:15:58 What is there to know? Well, they're the ones who take you to your dealer, like those ones. They take you to your dealer? Yeah. They sell you weed. They look like the stickers of aliens. We all know what the gray ones are. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:14 I think we had two very different drug dealers in our neighborhoods. I was at a little gray alien selling fake weed at high school. I would only take the aliens to the bad drug dealers, not the ones I liked. I didn't want them to get abducted or touched. I'm taking you to the guy
Starting point is 00:16:32 that sells you really shitty ragweed for inflated prices. But it works on aliens. It's fine. An alien doesn't know anything about prices, so it's actually kind of the perfect crime. An alien can smoke seeds and stems. that doesn't care.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Damn, they're just high on life. I'm so gone. I'm so fucking faded. Bro. I'm in the couch. Okay. Take me to your dealer. I'll be the leader.
Starting point is 00:17:00 Fuck. Fuck shit. Well, this space is mostly one guy who is trying to get a conversation started, but he has a very earnest approach to it that I thought was really good. His name is Vic Gardner, and his whole flair here is,
Starting point is 00:17:18 I have been abducted by gray aliens since at least age five. Like it keeps happening? At least age five. At least. There are a lot of people, I feel like there are a lot of alien people who are like, yeah, it happened to me once,
Starting point is 00:17:29 and they just keep coming back to me and poking me, and now we're friends. Well, that's troubling, because Vic has been groomed by the aliens. Yeah, I think they sort of groom Vic's. They're groomers. They're groomers. They're great groomers.
Starting point is 00:17:45 If you look at Vic's picture, I will say he looks exactly like the person who says they've been constantly abducted by aliens since age five. Yeah, I believe him. Oh, and he's a Navy veteran. Hell yeah. He's 77 years old. Salute, corporal. Alex, read this guy's bio.
Starting point is 00:18:01 This is Vic. He says, I am a 77 years old. Still curious and excited by science. I used to race Corvettes and one Mustang on the track and on the streets. I saw the world as a sailor. I traveled extensively as a radiation protection technician for over 20 years.
Starting point is 00:18:21 I played lead guitar for a rock cover band called Charred Possum. I was very muscular for most of my life. Vic is cool as hell. The aliens could not stop him. Why is charred spelled like the vegetable? you gotta listen to the music we will have to look that up after this i do want to charge possum but i don't want him to sue me i guess that's fine we're fine it's possum court um okay he's now
Starting point is 00:18:50 in a wheelchair because the va won't prescribe opioids god damn at age 70 i lost everything i owned if only i had opioids i could get out of this wheelchair god damn the va stopped giving me opioids the fact that i lost everything has nothing to do with the previous opioid before you ask it had nothing to do with my street racing mustangs imagine you gave an old man in a wheelchair fentanyl and he just gets up he just starts walking starts fucking doing a dance he's the six flags guy it's a double negative i mean from from my experience taking too many opiates uh being so from the midwest in the early 2000s the last thing i want to do is walk around Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:33 No, because you've got to race. Sort of a sleepy drug. Yeah. It doesn't make me very outgoing, Vic. All right, so he was robbed, though. And then he talks about the aliens at the end. I've got to keep reading this. Yeah, please keep reading.
Starting point is 00:19:45 At age 70, I lost everything I ever owned, stuff, keepsakes, pictures, addresses, phone numbers, phone, and money to thieves who broke into and stripped my house while I was in jail on a bogus charge. What did you go to jail for? That's not what this is about. A bogus charge is bogus. Some bullshit. This is the lead guitar for charred possum we're talking about here. He's living that rock star life with a pocket full of oxys getting pulled over for speeding in his Mustang.
Starting point is 00:20:12 I got to say, this one paragraph is a lot of thrills. It gets better. It's awesome. I don't believe in supernatural beings. I'm an abductee of the grays. What does that mean? Don't talk to me about Trump. I like girls.
Starting point is 00:20:25 QFT is my favorite theory. only gay people like trump okay i don't know what does it mean how do you not believe in supernatural beings but you've been abducted by the grays because they're not supernatural yeah they're real obviously they won't leave them alone i wonder if that's where he was getting his pills from oh yeah well take me to your dealer the last few sentences this has like a checklist of like yes i've been abducted by Greys. No, I don't want to talk about Trump. No, I'm not
Starting point is 00:20:56 gay. It's not Bigfoot, it's Greys. QFT is... What's QFT? A quote for truth? I don't know. That's what a vibe guide goes to. Is my favorite theory. F. Tompkins? Is it Qual F. Tompkins?
Starting point is 00:21:12 It's Quantum F. Tompkins. Yeah, it's the name of the alien who abducted him. He was trying to go get his fucking space Fent. He's a very funny alien named Qual F Tompkins. He's a very well-dressed alien. I'm going to follow this guy. I am going to look up
Starting point is 00:21:28 Chard Possum. Okay, you can look up Chard Possum. This dude rules. I want to find out about the greys somewhat. We do need to. You're going to need to be more specific than that on Google, I'm afraid. I do feel like Chard Possum Possum Dixon Possum Dixon.
Starting point is 00:21:44 That's not who we were looking for. I don't think this band was around in the time of video being online i think that this is a band from like the 70s that was not popular so unfortunately they're a cover band so they're probably just uh doing the all the alien bars right they're just playing possum uh vick doesn't uh read me as a guy who has like a sound cloud i was thinking the same thing he doesn't know about like media saturation and i always just gotta get out there i was looking for like a vertical video of them playing in a bar that has four views from 2005 and i thought maybe we could find that sorry he has 2.2 million content
Starting point is 00:22:23 views that's what's up so he's gone viral a few times he's sort of going off he lives in all right all right he still has less answers than uh orson scott card but that's right only 5.7k he doesn't have the accomplishments or so on his space gray aliens abduct humans uh i really like this sentence the bio of it it just says personal encounters descriptions of abduction experiences hybrid fetuses that's what you're going to encounter here and that so i have perused this space and let me tell you most of it is vick being like come on guys really who else has been abducted and then one post is like vick i have and then that's it that's all that's on here hi vick i'm going to give you my second and most important ufo experience i'll write in a form that i prefer
Starting point is 00:23:09 you read as is because it makes me sound like a nutjob otherwise. Do you want to read this guy's whole thing? It's like so long. Well, that's his experience. I'm reading the bold sentence. All woke the next morning in different beds in my uncle's house fully clothed. Well, that's after the Grays abducted
Starting point is 00:23:25 them. It's all right. That's what his uncle wants him to think. Yeah, that's right. Also, Hybrid Fetuses is my favorite Linkin Park album. Yeah, it's really good. Another good band name. That could be maybe one of their albums.
Starting point is 00:23:40 That's Charred Possum's first album. Here, scroll down. Vic's questions are very interesting prompts. Should I go to questions? Yeah, sure. Okay, so Vic is answering questions like Dolores Cannon and vibrations. Yeah, keep going. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Where are the greys from? What is an alien mind probe like? Mind probe like? I feel like he should know. Yeah, he's answering these. These are kind of cipher sessions that he's getting started. it's like great it's all right there's so much text on this page that it is like shutting me down that's that's i need to wear glasses after running into like ufo people that does track like it's
Starting point is 00:24:17 just like a constant vomit of of words like like this nature of mind scan uh shit like and they'll talk for like 10 paragraphs unbroken at a time sometimes it all caps unending hustle those same Some guys make a lot of the leftist memes I've found. Sex and the greys. This is the one I thought you would like. Oh, yeah. Let's get right to the elephant in the room. The greys' attitude towards and treatment of human sex.
Starting point is 00:24:44 And I'm not talking about rectal exams. Hold on. I got a button. That's the button you wanted, Chris? No, I wanted Lil Jon. Yeah! He likes girls. Vic likes girls.
Starting point is 00:24:56 He likes girl greys. Show me the lady greys, he says. But, disclaimer, the Grey's forays into potentially sexual acts do not come across as prurient, but rather seem to be strictly related to reproductive procedures, actions taken to further the production of alien-human hybrids, even mental contact to sexually arouse, especially if female, seems entirely purpose-driven. So, that is what I would guess, though. Like, I wouldn't think they're doing it for fun, because to them, we're pretty much like bears or whatever. Okay, and then he keeps posting this long description of Mindscan from David Jacobs in Secret Life. So he's posting the same thing over and over. I mean, we all know about Mindscan.
Starting point is 00:25:36 He's kind of a hack. This is just David Jacobs. Mindscan's his old hat. Are alien people reading your books? Are they reading sci-fi books, or it's not even interesting to them? I feel like for Grey's, it's just called a book. Right. Science truth.
Starting point is 00:25:51 I think Jeremy meant people who like aliens, not the aliens themselves. are the greatest fans of your work that's what it sounded like what you said i look at the little sim downloads i know who's listening to this ufo people probably aren't hugely into science fiction because it treats it as like a fantastical element right and instead they they constantly consume ufo weirdo content and there's no end of those books those dudes turn out books in a way that makes me seem pathetic in comparison um it's truly impressive like it's all complete nonsense and insanity uh and they all should probably be medicated but uh there's no end to the content if you're a ufo person well from their perspective right like
Starting point is 00:26:36 they think aliens are real and there's like a plot against humanity so why would they spend any time on your fun little book you made right almost laughing at their lifestyle making fun of all their their hobbies well they try to raise awareness of like a life or death existential situation like reading about the aliens my book like it's not really like that at all he hasn't seen any of david jacobs knows nothing of his work this man doesn't even get mind scanned ridiculous all right i'm gonna move on to our questions because we have many so this is um our religion segment uh forbidden fruit oh this is a big hot topic online recently alex you know that is it in what way porn addiction
Starting point is 00:27:24 well the question is addiction is porn addiction a type of demon manipulation i heard about this on quaraders there's been big twitter discourse about if porn addiction is real if it exists but no one is bringing up the demon aspect the demon aspect i think is you know i don't generally think things are demon manipulation, but if you're addicted, like you have porn on all day long, that does sound like something a demon would do. That'd be like one of my top guesses.
Starting point is 00:27:53 It'd be funny to make someone goon a lot. Yeah, they'd think it was funny. Also, it's something that they do with their nasty tongues out, and you do with your nasty tongue out. You jack off with your tongue out? When I do it all day, I do. Yeah, you get tired, you have to pant like a dog.
Starting point is 00:28:09 To cool yourself down. If you believe in, like, true demon manipulation, do you think that, like, demons are doing something as meaningless as just making you jerk it, like, crazy style all day? Should they be doing more important things with their demon entity self? If you believe in demons, do you think that jacking off is, like, the worst thing someone could do? It's, like, worse than war. Well, okay, you're a demon. You get points for sins. Points.
Starting point is 00:28:37 So if you're gooning for, like, 36 hours, that's, like, a sinning spree. Those are all used against God in the final confrontation. Chris Hardwick does give you points if you sin as a demon. That's how it works. That's what he got in trouble for. We need to stop talking about Chris Hardwick on this podcast. Kind of a Chris Hardwick show. Showing up at the pearly gates, one arm swollen, face sunken.
Starting point is 00:29:04 I'm not getting in, buddy. Rip this thing off the hinges. if you're a low level demon though you probably do need to work your way up right you can't just be manipulating the president all the time someone else is doing yeah yeah this is like working in the mail room of hell yeah you know you get to work your way up like i'm in charge of the weird guy who goons all day the cum never stops i'm sticky i'm into weird shit now my wires have truly been crossed but one day i'm gonna get promoted to the guy who blames demons on their kids being gay my job is to write harry potter i'm a demon i want to read an answer here because
Starting point is 00:29:45 this is going to have some interesting theological back and forth this is by savitri guard who has 18 years with a sex addicted covert narcissist so i think she knows what she's talking about it's as if all of these responses are from porn addicts in denial and possibly those who are possessed i very much believe that lust which is a sin listed in the bible is a gateway to demonic possession and possibly yes means of a demonic manipulation i'm quite sure that satan is glad to watch the effects of porn use violence against women and kids relationship collapse isolation trauma and multitude of abuses perpetrated on victims of sex addicts and satan's exact line of work i think that's on his cv that's something that satan would enjoy if you're like listing
Starting point is 00:30:25 things that satan likes i think like uh isolation trauma collapse these are all things he would like he's good enough for that hell yeah you've seen that meme forever ago that was like someone uh addicted to heroin and they go to inject the needle into their arm and jesus comes down and puts his arm in the way to stop you from doing drugs i could imagine that same thing but it's you jerking it like mad and jesus coming out like hold your hand like chill out bro i got this it's a hand job it's not masturbation it's not a sin that is gay though jesus reaching over your shoulder to spit on it is it gay if it's jesus though no it's that's god helping you i also exactly when you saw only one set of handprints and in the gooey napkins i was gonna say what
Starting point is 00:31:21 What are the handprints in? In the lotion. That's a good answer. There were only ones that had handprints in the lotion. I like that you called it a meme and not just like a famous Christian painting that people are inspired by. All paintings are memes. It's fine.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Paintings are memes. I only know the one that Donald Trump is in. Well, yeah, he did. He kind of made a new one. Yeah, he's canonically Jesus now. He shared one where he was doing it. Yeah, he gay. It was pause as hell.
Starting point is 00:31:51 All right, there's more under Neeraj Bonsall here. Sorry, sorry. It seems like, I think everyone just agrees that it probably is demon manipulation. It's got to be demons. That's the only way it could. I can't imagine anybody being invested enough to go on here and be like, no. Do you see this related question? Oh, no, there's a blurred picture.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Yeah, I don't really want to see that. Do you want to click it? Do you want to click it? A part of me absolutely does. Do they take a picture of themselves jerking off? It's probably nothing. You never know. It's hamsters.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Oh, okay. It's a meme of hamsters. It's just hamsters. Why were they so scared of porn the first time they watched it? They were a hamster. They didn't know what was going on. They were simply a hamster. They're not meant to watch screens.
Starting point is 00:32:31 I really like this related question. Does masturbation invite poverty and bad luck? Yeah, I think it does. I think it does invite poverty. It does, because you're not making any money when you do it. Unless you are. Unless you are, and you could. You actually get a lot of money really quickly.
Starting point is 00:32:45 It's one of the easiest ways to make money now that we're thinking about it. That's not true. OnlyFans is the same as podcasting or anything where like 1% of them make money and 99% of them are just doing it for the love of the game I would love to be a C tier OnlyFans
Starting point is 00:33:02 You wouldn't though I like how this person's under this person's name says I watch porn daily for six years This is under Quora Plus We had to pay to read this comment Well they're an expert If someone is
Starting point is 00:33:17 It's like an OnlyFans model, and they just jerk off for their OnlyFans. Is the demon that is manipulating them like a higher-ranking demon than the mail clerk demon? Because their person that's jerking off is making bank. Yeah. Let's contact our friend Girthmaster and see who's making him do this. They probably have a better car than the poor demons. They're driving a BMW.
Starting point is 00:33:43 I think it's wrong to include Girthmaster in this discussion. He's like the Leonardo DiCaprio of porn, right? Who's Girthmaster? He's a guy with a huge cock. He's a famous porn star who has a huge dick. You know who he is, Clayton. His explanation is right in the name. He's the master of Girth.
Starting point is 00:34:01 What do you think he is? I don't believe you, Clayton. I'm going to read Ora Sig's answer, then we can move on. And this is, again, locked behind Quora Plus. You had to pay for this, but also it's an interesting answer that goes against the other ones. He says, first off, there's no such thing as porn addiction. There have been studies done that support this. At worst, it's compulsion, and it's only a compulsion of a very small amount of people.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Most people consume porn without any negative consequences in their life from it. So this is someone who's very pro-porn. He watches it every day. He's not addicted. So that brings me to the demon manipulation part. If you believe in demons and that you believe that someone can be manipulated by them, then I would think that you can believe that they can manipulate you into watching porn, and a lot of it. But I would think that a demon wouldn't waste its time on getting someone to watch a ton of porn.
Starting point is 00:34:46 This is what Joe was saying. It's a waste of a demon's time. They've got better things to do. They could drill a hole to the center of the earth or something. Yeah, I guess they could do that. Which is something they would like because they're a demon. Yeah, they've got to unleash the other demons to make more people jerk off. They've got to free them.
Starting point is 00:35:05 That is something they're doing in Russia is they're trying to drill a hole really far down. So maybe it's demons making them do that. Why are they doing that? Science or whatever. We've got to see what's down there, right? They're trying to find, go take a peek at the core. Magma. Well, if it gets stuck, if you nuke it three times,
Starting point is 00:35:20 you can make it rotate again, Claire. The core. Everybody knows this. It needs a push. Maybe Russia's strategic resources of jerk-off demons have gone low, so they have to mine for more of them at the center of the Earth. That makes sense to me.
Starting point is 00:35:37 This is why you're a sci-fi author. Exactly. This checks out. Science is right in the title. okay let's do another question uh let's go to forbidden knowledge the unknown okay so this is in the space alien agenda the question is how do you feel about aliens living on earth i'm against it i like so this is just a quora sub quora for people who already agree
Starting point is 00:36:08 there's aliens everyone's on the same page i guess and the question is just how do you feel about that yeah i i clicked around the space to be our space of the week but it's just this one guy dariel talking to himself again great name and so i didn't i thought it'd be too much i'd rather talk about jack uh who was in the navy and had a band his name was vic vic sorry if i was to name an alien i would probably go with dariel this is a false flag from the aliens already living on earth oh it's a very celestial sound exactly there's very few scenarios where the aliens live on earth but they like give you stuff and it's it's fun yeah it's not like you're gonna come in and like pay rent yeah they don't know how to contribute in the ways that i approve of
Starting point is 00:36:53 landlords hate aliens that's generally true uh dariel chimes in here he says i'm very concerned about aliens living on earth this has been happening for at least seven decades at least okay except that's when that's the 50s yeah yeah that puts a timeline on it during this time these races have been observing us learning our habits and behaviors and learning to manipulate us mentally as they're extremely adept in the mental environment the mental environment that's a great uh thing a dumb guy would say to describe a smart guy as adept in the mental environment It sounds like something like some debate guy would challenge you in the mental environment. Like, it's going to be my battleground in the mental environment.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Meet me in the cerebral arena. That already sounds better, though. Yeah, that's already better. I'm very adept at the mental environment. That's right. They have also been physically experimenting on humanity, abducting thousands against their will over these decades, doing medical experiments, and even creating hybrid races
Starting point is 00:37:56 in which humans are crossed with these races of which there are several present here in our world. And then a picture of something. It's an AI regular spaceship. Nothing too exciting there, but it's big. Oh, he has a lot more to say, though. Longer answer. They always do.
Starting point is 00:38:12 That's what I'm saying. They never just keep it tight. Yeah, it's never like, how do I feel? I wish they could. It ends with a petition on change.org. There is a petition circulating that asks people to take action to pressure our governments
Starting point is 00:38:24 to disclose what is happening concerning this intervention. So this guy must be really happy last year when they came out and they were like, aliens are real and I've seen your Change.org petition. Yeah, that was mostly what got it done. It's 303 people signed it. Yeah, that's like a moderate-sized concert of people who are concerned about aliens living next door.
Starting point is 00:38:46 This Change.org is doxing my zip code to our YouTube. That's okay. Daryl is a swing voter in a very important state, I'm sure. Yeah. I'm a single-issue voter for alien disclosure. Expose them in their hybrid races. Imagine you're talking to someone who's just like, both parties are the fucking same, man.
Starting point is 00:39:08 And you dig deeper, and they're like, because they won't talk about the grays. Imagine being that single-issue voter, how disappointed you've been your whole life. Like, health care, immigration, forever wars. I don't give a shit about any of that. Give me the grave. We're not even talking about the things I care about.
Starting point is 00:39:27 Who needs infrastructure? It's just kind of how I feel about climate change, right? We were like, well, in the background, there is also like climate change is going to destroy the world. It's funny to imagine someone thinking that about like alien invasion. So do you think it's coming? I mean, it's pretty important, I guess. China's way ahead of us on stopping alien invasion.
Starting point is 00:39:45 What's the point? They're going to figure it out. they're gonna send them back we'll be fine anyway let's move on i guess yeah we saw the petition i'm not gonna sign it okay here's another question i don't like signing them this is in ghost stories is it illegal to have telepathy or telekinesis yeah i don't think that's covered under the second amendment it's my right that's true there's nothing protecting you yes Yeah, if my mind has a gun, is that the same thing?
Starting point is 00:40:19 My telekinesis is holding an assault rifle in a school, which makes it technically legal. That's allowed. Yeah, that would be okay. That's kind of a workaround, I guess. So that's just a floating gun, I guess? Yeah, it's fine. If you use your brain to pick up either a gun or a Bible, that's allowed. All joking aside, it would be very tactically advantageous to have a floating gun like that.
Starting point is 00:40:40 Sure, in your school shooting. Oh, sure. Or, you know, in any situation. Right. If you could have a floating gun and you could be manipulated by demons to jerk off at the same time, you would have hands free. I'm not a gun guy. I don't know about guns. But I feel like if I could have a floating gun, it's going to make it like 100 times more likely I shoot myself with it.
Starting point is 00:40:59 Oh, because it can rotate down probably. Whereas if I'm holding it, it's at least pointing away from me. It depends how good you are at it. Well, I mean, that doesn't work for a lot of people, to be fair. That's true. We have an answer by Necronomicon. Do you think I said that right?
Starting point is 00:41:17 Necronomicon. He's very into the supernatural, ghost demons, etc. He says there are a few ways to answer this. These guys just waiting to write a fucking novel. I have a list. I've been thinking about this in the mental environment for years.
Starting point is 00:41:33 Thank God you asked this question. I pretty much do everything in the mental environment, I realize. It's where I do all of my planning. he says it is illegal to market yourself as being able to utilize telepathy and or telekinesis especially if you plan on charging for the use of these services as these things are not possible as far as i know but who knows that's not true is it that's not true at all that's what fortune tellers do yeah you can like i can see the future unless that unless foresight isn't included under
Starting point is 00:42:04 the constitutional amendment that covers telepathy and telekinesis i'm unaware how can you legally Maybe they market themselves on paper as entertainment. Right. Maybe. They can't be like, you can't take this seriously, and if you do it, it's not my fault, because you didn't read the small paper. The fortune tellers I've met around New York
Starting point is 00:42:22 don't seem like they have any legal jurisdiction going on. They seem like they have a closet in the village somewhere that no one has checked in on in a while. Well, they're very good at avoiding the police, because they can see the future. Oh, they know when they're coming. Yeah, they know when they're coming. They go out to my sandwich shop and make up menu items that do not exist
Starting point is 00:42:41 and then yell at me about it. Wait, fortune tellers? You got yelled at by fortune tellers? There was one next door to this cafe I worked at. They would go in and just make up shit and then wait until I brought it to them. Was there one part of you that was like, they know magic. They might be right. This sandwich might exist.
Starting point is 00:42:58 It's a really tricky customer service situation when someone does that. They would also make up their own prices. They're like, I can't do that. I'll have one sloppy godfather. And you're like, that's not a sandwich. And they're just like, I've read your mind. It is a sandwich. She would walk into the kitchen.
Starting point is 00:43:14 She's like, wave me off and go talk to the chef. Don't worry, he knows me. He knows what I want. I like that they say it's like illegal and fraudulent as if the dude that's telling people's futures on this other is like straight up with the tax man about all this cash that they have like oh don't worry he has a certification from the department of telekinesis i would love to take someone to court for not being able to read my mind correctly
Starting point is 00:43:47 your honor he did not float that object right your honor i was thinking of 45 when he asked me to think of a number your honor i'm trapped in an ice cube i'm pretty sure he didn't actually bend that spoon it was already bent uh then he does say just having the gift of telep of either telepathy or telekinesis is not illegal per se latin so he's saying it's illegal to say you have it but you might have it and that's i'm glad to find someone who dabbles in mental environment law this is micronomicon attorney at law he says most governments do not have the best track record when it comes to anomalies and treating those anomalies kindly facts what does that mean
Starting point is 00:44:30 that the u.s government kidnapped citizens and force fed them force fed them lsd to explore the potential of psychos that is true that did happen that is absolutely true but i i guess i wouldn't describe that as handling anomalies no that that means that you would have to leave by taking lsd in a room where people thought they were going to meet a sex worker makes you some kind of psychic being yeah just because you were in fk ultra i think they would argue they were getting in front of it one of my favorite anomalies was the unabomber he was an anomaly he was objectively most people do not mail people bombs that's true that's true whatever he would mail bombs i'd go this is not normal i'm shaking my head slowly as everybody knows i disagree with
Starting point is 00:45:24 this i do not like what he was doing there um this person talks like they think the x-men is real if they can explain to me the actual like canon story of the x-men that would be very handy because i have a hard time following you heard i'm following the x-men yes every time i tune into my latest x-man it seems to have a completely different storyline than the last one i've seen this may just be my casual viewership i don't know what you're talking about these are the Yeah, I'm starting to question your dedication to X-Men lore. Yeah, it seems pretty straightforward. They're basically gay people and or black people, depending on what decade it is.
Starting point is 00:46:01 Yeah, that's true. Okay, well, I guess the answer is it's illegal to say you have telepathy, but you can do it, and it's legal. You can do it per se. Great. All right. Let me see how far we've gone, if I want to skip any of these questions. This is a good question for Joe. Okay, great.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Could Star Wars be real? Yeah, fuck it. Why not? I fucking knew it. I fucking knew it. Glad we got the scoop. I love this. I don't know about you guys.
Starting point is 00:46:33 I'm starting to think I see Star Wars everywhere I go. And that makes it real? That's just called Disney bought it, you fucking idiot. Star Wars is like a beautiful woman to me. John Bambrog's got some really great pictures here. one of uh and at what's that at at yeah yeah big old walker a little bit in the clouds and the other one is does he believe that's real as i think he's doing a goof he's pulling our he's gotta be he's pulling our boob mate he's pulling our boob in the mental mindscapes he's having a
Starting point is 00:47:11 go with us he's got a picture avocado toast the java java is that what java java i think that's supposed to be uh yoda this is supposed to be this dog yeah scroll up to the this is java the hut but that's like slimer also that is slimer looks more like real he's probably ghostbusters yes I saw it on TV it makes it real I think Ghostbusters is real What about Lady Ghostbusters Those are not real now unfortunately That's what I thought
Starting point is 00:47:45 That's what I've been told by people on the internet Is that they're woke and therefore not real It wouldn't make any sense I saw Lady Ghostbusters In theaters when it came out and I was so sure That this guy I was an ally it's right I was so sure that the guy sitting next to me was going to shoot me with a gun
Starting point is 00:48:02 The whole movie and I couldn't stop thinking about how I was going to die Watching Lady Ghostbusters He'd go for you first He kept switching seats and he had this big Backpack he kept looking in and he kept Moving around the theater and I was like he's gonna kill us All Dirk Lady Ghostbusters He was just making a
Starting point is 00:48:17 What is it called when you film the movie Pirate film I think he was looking for his friends Where to shoot you from How sad of a mass shooter do you have to be to plan to hit the Lady Ghostbusters People were mad about it I don't know I was worried that someone would be Like anti-woke Ghostbuster
Starting point is 00:48:34 fan who shoots me in the head. Well, ever since that one Batman shooting, everyone's had to be like, how much do people hate this one? You know, but that, like, as a target, right, it's gonna be full. Like, people are waiting outside in line to go see that
Starting point is 00:48:50 movie. Nobody's waiting outside in line to see Lady Ghostbusters. It's gonna be you and, like, five other people. You cannot say that in front of Jeremy. He's gonna get pissed off. Listen to Ghostbusters. I had a similar experience at Avatar 2 with a guy who was like standing up in front of the screen over and over again and shifting his bag. And then eventually it became clear he was blackout drunk and didn't know where he was going and was just trying to find the exit.
Starting point is 00:49:16 A lot of people are just taking out candy. Where do you guys go to the movies where they allow you to bring in whole ass bags? New York City, baby. Greatest bag city in the world. In New York, you can bring a big backpack to the movie theater and you can get bed bugs. Those are the two things. They all have bed bugs. I spilled Pharaoh in my bag during Detective Pikachu.
Starting point is 00:49:41 What's Pharaoh? It's like a grain. Oh, sure. Okay. Fair enough. I went to dig in. Did you just bring a bag full of grains with you to the movie theater? I had a whole meal.
Starting point is 00:49:54 It was like a three-course meal. I brought a fork. I also used to bring a lot of hard-boiled eggs to movie theaters back then. This is a movie for children. You brought a hard-boiled egg to a movie theater? I have macro needs. That's fucking disgusting.
Starting point is 00:50:08 And they weren't peeled, so I had to peel them in there. It's dark. Might as well just shoot me in the head. Just shoot me in the back of the head at the movie theater. I can respect your macro needs as a fellow gym psycho, but I don't think I'd bring in just loose, boiled eggs with me to the theater.
Starting point is 00:50:21 I think I'd bring like a Ziploc baggie full of unflavored Greek yogurt, and you'd get my respect. Ew. I'll do that one next time because I need that respect did you genuinely peel hard boiled eggs in a movie theater yes
Starting point is 00:50:35 that is unhinged it was difficult I'm trying to imagine being at a movie theater and even just seeing a shell of an egg on the ground I'd be like what psycho was here seeing detective Pikachu I'm not crazy I didn't litter
Starting point is 00:50:50 it was during that sequel of The Shining or was a chick born you know what I might sooner think a chick was born in the movie than some psycho was eating raw or hard-boiled eggs. I do like the idea that, you know, somewhere on Twitter, someone posted, I think, next to a guy eating boiled eggs in the fucking movie theater. I'm sitting next to a guy in a Goku t-shirt eating hard-boiled eggs. His bag is full of Pharaoh. Because once it's in there, it's really hard to get out.
Starting point is 00:51:24 It's like spilling rice everywhere. His bag was full of Pharaoh. That's a cool thing you could say to Yu-Gi-Oh. Let my people go. Move on to the next question. Okay. Star Wars is real. I'm moving on to Quoromance.
Starting point is 00:51:40 All right, Jeremy was excited about these. This is our love and relationship questions here on Quoromance. God damn it. It doesn't matter. Who cares? That works. Will aliens accept gay marriage since they are technically more advanced from human beings? Now this is a question for Orson Scott
Starting point is 00:51:57 Wait tag him Hold on How do I do this I do think he's becoming aware of us And may block us on Quora Which I'm afraid of I'm requesting that Orson Scott card answer this question Tag him in
Starting point is 00:52:11 Which is a thing you can do on Quora If anybody can make aliens homophobic It is Orson Scott card I think they wouldn't allow it Because they're bad Aliens are bad yeah they're evil they think we're gonna be cows they are more advanced they're gonna use us for meat i like that uh when people envision aliens they can only just envision slightly different
Starting point is 00:52:36 humans they still are humanoid they still have the same construct like very rigid constructs of gender and sexuality the only difference is they just live in space and are kind of smooth yeah they have better guns so they like kick our ass anytime they need to but they're always having sex with us i always like an invincible when they go to the bug aliens and all the bug alien women have huge tits that's so funny that's cool why would they have that i think aliens are all just kind of like baby boomers where they're just like annoyed with pronouns probably can't you just have like normal sex and have a baby please like i just want a grand grandkid grand i don't understand what's going on that the music of today is bad it's hurting my brain
Starting point is 00:53:22 Yeah, I think that's what an alien penning a medium posting how I left the left. Yeah, exactly. They would do that shit. Those grays. There's a lot of aliens. Aliens. A lot of answers here. Randy McDonald is a fan of cities, islands, migration and Trek says even on the off chance that they physically resemble us.
Starting point is 00:53:40 It's difficult for me to imagine why aliens would necessarily care about our marital relationships. Oh, if you're just tuning in now, Trek is a kind of bike that you can get. And they have all kinds of different. Go eat a damn egg, you motherfucker. Oh, sure. You hold it against me. The crinkling of movie theater boiled eggs. That health comes first for once.
Starting point is 00:54:04 Next time you get a bring sunny side up. That makes more sense to me somehow. It doesn't. It would be harder. Or just one of those flavored jugs of egg whites. I've eaten a lot of different foods at the movies and ones that do not serve food and the answer is you want a hand food.
Starting point is 00:54:24 You want something you can grab. You don't want to involve a fork. Anything is a hand food if you're brave enough. It's not a hand food. If it's an egg, you have to take the shell off of. Well, it's double a hand food. You got to use hands unwrapping. That's unhinged.
Starting point is 00:54:39 Read this answer from Aaron. Aaron Gullison says, aliens will probably have their own strange prejudices and find art laughable. They may have no problem of beings of the same gender marrying, but be totally against those same persons marrying if they have the same eye color or have different length tongues. That is a fantastic answer. Before we marry, we have to stick out our tongues and touch tips so the aliens can measure them so they're not prejudiced against us. You have to French the priest.
Starting point is 00:55:09 Do they like the same length or different lengths? Short tongue heaven freak. The man has long tongue. Woman has small tongue. You're going, tongue gap. That's a tongue gap. Problematic tongue gap. It's abuse.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Gene Simmons has finally found a world where people will respect him. The original question, or wait, what was it? Will aliens, it was originally, do aliens accept gay marriage? Which is funny because someone made it, someone changed it to, will they accept gay marriage? Right. As a hypothetical, it's because it was too politically charged before. Oh my God, this guy has- Account has been banned.
Starting point is 00:55:47 Yeah, this is the guy who asked it, Sam IG. Knows about history of China and dating. Most of his questions are about North Korea. Okay, well, Quora's a good place to go for that. He's got one question about, well, aliens like gay people, and the rest are all about Kim Jong-un. Yeah, back to the divided country. Maybe this is just Kim Jong-un's account.
Starting point is 00:56:09 Maybe. I'd love if he was on Quora. That would make me so happy. He's definitely on Quora. You should definitely get your own flair if you're a world leader on Quora. He wants to know, do girls feel sexually aroused by looking at a guy's big belly in the same way that a guy feels happy to look at girls' breasts? Let me see that gut. Claire?
Starting point is 00:56:30 I mean, this girl does. Yeah, I was going to say. Dr. Robotnik. Dr. Robotnik, man. That one Dragon Ball Z guy you guys showed me. Nappa. Nappa doesn't really have a gut. He's just daddy.
Starting point is 00:56:43 He's just a daddy. Nappa has more of like a trend gut. Yeah. That dude's on gear. He has a gear gut. As far as Saiyans go, he's like kind of a medium build because everyone else is so lean, but he's still daddy. He's still got that triangle taper shape.
Starting point is 00:57:02 Another one of Saiyan's questions. He's got the taper shape. Do the face of your lovers affect your sexual satisfaction or performance? Yes. Yes. Definitely. Thank you for writing in. Let's do another one.
Starting point is 00:57:14 One more. One more. Please, one more. What world is this man from where he's like, do other people find people's faces sexually attractive, or am I just weird? Right again real quick. Do they need to have a face?
Starting point is 00:57:30 I like a real smooth face. No features. I'm about to do some morally dubious stuff. Here's our final question. Could humans be selectively bred like dogs to create two subspecies that can no longer have offspring fantastic do i not understand selective breeding properly i'm not worried about the moral implications just the science please did this person just science fiction their way into eugenics
Starting point is 00:57:58 they kind of worked at it backwards yeah what if we did eugenics but really badly bad eugenics i want it i want to fuck up the human race for the worst i want us to be like a pug i want to breathe us down until we all have breathing problems i'm not worried about the moral implication democrats need to stop answering my quarrels i've tried to create my own halfspergs i want us all to be charles the second the guy with the jaw too fucked up to chew food i feel like because of that you we could say yes definitively yes you can accidentally breed humans until they don't work anymore oh yeah i mean europeans did this generations ago yes it's just the um viability for offspring is also one of the first things to
Starting point is 00:58:55 go within breeding right like that's the whole thing is after a while your inbred dynasty line just doesn't fuck good no more is that true yeah that was the main problem with a lot of them as they would eventually get so horrifically disabled from inbreeding that breathing was the most important thing they could do on a daily basis. Like, you couldn't, like, any kind of sex involving these
Starting point is 00:59:17 people is intensely problematic for a lot of reasons at that point. Like, they would be in a home if those existed, but instead they were king. The problem of monarchy is eventually you run out of other people's cum. Nice, dude. That's your
Starting point is 00:59:34 quote. The problem with monarchy is you eventually run out of your own cousins to fuck. It's very hard to have sex when you're made of glass. That's one of the big issues. There's a movie about that. It's called Glass. I haven't seen it, but I think that's what I understand it's about. Samuel L. Jackson just tries to have sex the whole movie, and he keeps shattering.
Starting point is 00:59:55 Don't touch me! Okay, I don't know. I haven't read this whole first answer, but I really like the first sentence of it, because I don't know what it is, and it is You Need to Read the Dragon Masters by Jack Vance. Oh, Lord. Yes. Check out Dragon Masters.
Starting point is 01:00:12 Joe, have you read Dragon Masters? Never even heard of it, but now I don't want to. Well, Jack Vance is the greatest science fiction writer who ever lived, so. That's right. J.D. Vance pen name. This is just what this guy calls Game of Thrones. He's come with the Targaryens. Did you guys see Dragon Masters last week?
Starting point is 01:00:31 It was crazy. Is this just AI slop Game of Thrones on Amazon.com? The little guy? All the dragons are fruit. Wait, he explains what it is right after. Okay, in this novella, humans live on an alien planet cut off from the rest of humanity. Every 800 years, a nearby star comes within range, and they are invaded by a race of reptilian overlords. I hate when that happens.
Starting point is 01:00:53 That would be really difficult. They live on the sun? It's almost The Witcher at that point. Isn't that just what David Icke believes actually happens? Yes. Yeah, basically. Although I've made a lot of jokes about lizard people online, and people always correct me that the real belief
Starting point is 01:01:07 is that they come from underground, not from space. Ah, correction. I apologize to our reptilian listeners. I get yelled at a lot for joking that they're aliens because they're actually not. They're subterranean. It makes more sense that they would come from underground. And I'm David Icke, and I play soccer.
Starting point is 01:01:22 I agree. You're saying it with a mocking tone, but I agree with that. Is he on here, David Icke? Is he a computer guy? I feel like he should be. Yeah. Look it up. Look it up for once.
Starting point is 01:01:30 He sells out books, so maybe he's a serial Quora poster like Orson Scott Card. Yeah. He doesn't seem to have an account on here. I doubt you're going to find him. There's a lot of people posting about him, though. I'm just going to search on Quora real quick. He's a celebrity.
Starting point is 01:01:43 He's someone who gets you talking. Yeah, no, he's not really. There's a lot of cool celebrities on here, though. Yeah, Bono, probably. All right, well, I don't need to read whatever this is. Fantastic. Very 2016 Facebook meme. Yeah, it's about Hillary as a lizard person.
Starting point is 01:02:02 If you enjoyed the internet 15 years ago, you will love Quora.com. This guy basically just keeps describing what the book Dragon Masters is. Check out Dragon Masters. He says, in 35,000 years, we haven't succeeded in breeding dogs into separate species and capable of interbreeding yet ourselves. What? When you're the master of dragons, you win or you die. Wait, does he think that the person is posting up breeding a dog that can have sex with the person and have a baby? Probably.
Starting point is 01:02:32 I think he's saying that there's no dogs that can't breed. Is that true? That is not true. Yeah, I was going to say. If you specifically set out to do it, it would happen. That's like a mule, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:44 We've already done that before. I just think you got to read Dragon Masters again before you answer something like that. I like that this guy's trying to create his own type of racism where there's two types of humans and they just cannot have sex. Well, they have to be kept apart. This guy says in theory, yes, Vincent Maldia. Says there'd be two main difficulties. First is humans as a whole are not very genetically diverse.
Starting point is 01:03:06 Oh, okay. And he has a bachelor's in biology, so he knows what he's talking about. And the second is the long breeding cycle of humans. But these are not insurmountable obstacles if you have enough time. Getting on that fucking eugenics grind set to make humans worse. My wife is always complaining about my long breeding cycle. My long breeding cycle in my mental environment. This question is from Kyle Badder.
Starting point is 01:03:32 Ooh, he bad. He could be worse. My boyfriend called Kyle a badder in front of me. I think that's enough of this podcast. Yeah, I think we're all done today. Let's do a quick listener question, and then we'll call it a podcast. okay we take your quora style questions to our email at quarators at gmail.com send them in try to keep them under 30 seconds we want to hear from you this is our segment is that okay
Starting point is 01:03:57 is that okay um okay here's a random question hey quarators querenting question here my son asked me why was i born as a human and not a dinosaur how should i answer him thanks oh fuck That's a great question. Oh, easy. You know, because your mom may have been a dinosaur, but I had the dominant genetics. It's kind of like having brown hair. Right, there you go.
Starting point is 01:04:24 Draw a little square, punnet squares. Whoever has the stronger blood will win. Tell them that. Tell your child that. Don't worry, you'll pick up the dinosaur traits from your mother as you get older. Tell your child to check out Dragon Master. It's all explained in Dragon Master.
Starting point is 01:04:44 It all comes together. It actually kind of is, it sounds like. This is mostly a place for Dragon Master fans to meet and discuss. Live on pod. Are they dragons, the reptilians? Because they're reptiles. I don't know. I got to see the cover of this book, I got to be honest.
Starting point is 01:05:03 What makes something a dragon and what makes something just a big old lizard? Wings. I think it's a square rectangle situation. Fire. Is this what Dragon Masters looks like? This can't be it. This cannot be it. No, no, no. This is the wrong author
Starting point is 01:05:17 because this is Tracy West. We need Jack Vance. Okay, now we're talking. This is Dragon Masters. The art has changed. This fucking rules. It's very heavy metal to be stuck on Dragon Masters planet.
Starting point is 01:05:33 These dragons don't even have wings. That just looks like a lizard horse. Yeah, well, they're reptilians from the stars. We don't know what's going on there. They might have been bred to fight the dragons. Okay, I have to describe this cover. It is the strongest-looking lizard dog you've ever seen being ridden by a very, very skinny man in armor.
Starting point is 01:05:52 He's just skinny next to the lizard dog. On the top, it says, like Mark Twain, Jack Vance's work richly rewards rereading, which I'm sure. I mean, that's a hell of a blurb. And then there's a quote from Paul Anderson, who's not Paul Anderson, P-O-U-L. Right, common mistake.
Starting point is 01:06:10 Not Paul Thomas Anderson or Paul W.S. Anderson. You can't trust a Paul who spells his name that way. No, I don't like that at all. He apparently is a Hugo Award. I spell Jason with a Y. What does it say? One of the finest writers of science fiction. This won a Hugo Award, I guess.
Starting point is 01:06:26 Well, he won a Hugo Award. We don't know if it's this book. No, it says it's the novel. The Hugo. Oh, no, you're right. You're right, it is. You guys got to check out Dragon Man. I'm glad we finally signed it.
Starting point is 01:06:36 This is all explained. Every question you have from this podcast, whether it's aliens, whether it's greys, whether it's, is it okay to eat an egg in a movie theater? All of it is from Dragon Masters. Go read the book. Learn. I'm going to start pitching this series as a self-help guide. This is a perfect segue, by the way. Thank you for writing in, Joe.
