I've said it on this podcast many times, but Alex is sort of like my prized racehorse when
it comes to comedy podcasting, because you have to get the conditions just perfectly.
Usually, if it's cloudy at all, Alex will say, it's a sleepy day for me.
Today, it was hot, so Alex came in and said, it's a sleepy day for me.
It's sleepy, and I'm not at my best.
You have to feed him just right.
If you don't feed him enough, he gets cranky, but if you feed him too much, he gets too
full.
I go to sleep.
yesterday i did uh my podcast and i was i'd get my fitbit told me i got three hours and 15 minutes
of sleep the night before so i was really loopy and i really appreciated it because everyone else
was babying me so much they were like okay we're in crisis mode kath is a little bit sleepy we
really need to bring our a-game here you want more than three hours you do as a fitness professional
are you like the one who holds it together normally i i don't think so
we'll come in here all they were just being really nice about it in a way that is like
no offense to them uncharacteristic
i'll come in here all the time and i'll be like okay a baby kept me up from two to six so i need
you guys to just carry it and then i'll forget i said that and then just say everything that
comes to my mind that's kind of what i do i feel like i'm like okay guys this one's on you and
then i never shut the fuck yeah and i say things i regret i'm not gonna talk this episode anyway i
think orbs are interesting you become eric adams i never should have said that that is not something
you want out there all right it's four raiders
oh it's a hot one once again first week of june it is 90 degrees probably nothing
welcome back to
Quarators
we're so happy
to have you here
I assume the live
episode has already
come out
it wasn't that a thrill
and we had so much
fun doing it
and because we had
so much fun
it's time to actually
take a little vacation
this week
no fun this week
no this week
is actually
it's uh
no one did the work
they were supposed
to do
and it's uh
it's just kind of
a surf's up
into their audio
canal that's right your ear hole and uh to celebrate that this week from the what a time
to be alive podcast we have the return of kath barbadoa kath hi it's an honor to be here on
this filler episode yeah i didn't know that was what was happening no canon will be established
this week alex kept asking if i want to go to a hot spring that's right where so we're gonna try
to get over the wall as an idea just abstract we're trying to get over the wall to look at
girls but then our noses will bleed too much that will launch us in a fountain back over the wall
in a way where our legs land up in a v and that's something that happens to me every six months
now kath you are one of our most featured guests on the show really what an honor i think you're
in the three timers club or maybe even the four timers club wow yeah that's incredible it's it's
an honor i love creators much of the structure that we have here is made in your image and
speaking of that image what this week's theme is the power of god oh no
may he strike down the vengeful wow exciting a lot of rules for life are going to come out
this week and also rules for death he is the lord this is a big uh religion episode i'm seeing it
Okay, great.
Yes, it's the power of God.
Are you going to try to convert?
With Kath Barbadoro.
Are you going to try to convert anyone again?
We used to be a thing where you were trying to make me be Catholic on this podcast.
If I was going to convert somebody here.
If I had to pick one.
It's a Christian religion.
Well, I'm open to it.
And I would just close my eyes and point at the person.
I do remember the last time I did the show,
religion did come up in the sense that um jeremy kept trying to summon ghosts and demons and i
wouldn't let alex said i will not allow this i will not allow this into my life religion comes
up in the show every week for me because it makes me believe makes me believe in the thing called
love this great podcast of ours yeah jeremy's always trying to get a ghost in here i don't
know what his fucking problem is but uh we're gonna actually get around to like a lot more
like biblical stuff yeah no i think that's not your background corridors is a good place to go
if you're in spiritual crisis i think i think i think that's right yeah i mean look this is
the dissolution of community in this country people don't got a weird priest to ask anymore
no you know they ask jeremy i used to be parasocial with my priest
and now i just have podcasters now it's just theo von he's my new priest whatever he says to do i do
instead of the uh sopranos plot where carmella tries to have sex with the priest she's trying
to have sex with theo von she's making him baked zd or whatever yeah you're just such a good
listener he's just like a racist rambling oh it's so chill thanks for the meatballs carm
I feel like he wouldn't know what any of the food was.
Like the thing, the vibe I get from Theo Vaughn is that he's encountering everything for the first time always.
Oh, a spicy sausage.
Yeah.
I'm feeling a big thing for him.
So chill.
She's like giving him like the pasta or whatever.
And he's just like, I don't think, if you're from, if you're an aboriginal, I don't know about that.
What are you the original of?
And she's just like, please eat this.
Eat this and fuck me, Theo.
I want you now.
Well, I don't remember what my point was with that.
But anyway, I like doing God stuff on here.
That's where you get the people most passionate on the website.
I found this.
We have 52 notifications on Quora right now.
It's just people we follow.
It's no one interesting.
And nothing big.
Yeah, it's just all sorts of random shit.
No book deals.
It'll be like, hey, you have a notification.
And then the notification is like, I don't know, someone followed a question.
There's a highlight in a space that you're on.
Why will we never run out of oil?
How much oil is left on the earth?
That's a good question.
And, you know, I get a lot of good questions sent into the show
that I unfortunately cannot cover because there's not much to say about them.
Or they're not silly enough.
Interesting thought.
When we started the show, we did the questions like that,
and I did really like it, but it is, like, tough.
Yeah, Quick Movie had to become a content machine.
Yeah, before the clips ruled us.
Slave to the clips.
What's the Space of the Week?
Yes, let us.
space of the week
i think this is new since you've been here kath we've been going on spaces on quora which is
their subreddits where they form communities okay spaces are places kath sure this was
emailed to me this week demons ancestral spirits and occultism the woman in the like cover photo
Not doing good.
No.
She looks like she's being attacked by an angler fish.
Or an owl.
Or something up there.
Yeah.
Interesting polygraph test for what you think the image behind her is.
Oh, sure.
She looks like she's being attacked by my mom.
It tells you whether you're lying about what you think the image is.
It's a polygraph test.
What test am I thinking of?
You're thinking of the Rorschach test.
Yeah, that fucking thing.
I think it's Rorschach.
I think it's Rorschach from Watchmen.
I think he's going to punish her
because a storm's going to sweep away this city
I would be vexed by him
if he was like following me
that guy's a pain in the ass
Rorschach would post on Quora
he'd be a mod
us on our podcast being like
alright here's a question
a comedian died in New York today
is that okay
my son is 32 years old
he still uses my shower
can I shower with him
For a user's journal.
I am a pizza's journal.
Entry number 45.
I want to be eaten.
There's a sexy aunt next door.
Anyway, this space is disturbed by demons.
Find solutions here.
And frequently I would like to find them.
Some stats that you should know.
It has seven contributors, 2.8 thousand followers.
And it has 16 posts in the last week.
So this is one of the smaller ones we've been on.
But it looks to be intimate and probably an elite cabal of posters.
Great questions.
I really like all the titles, you know, like how people post their qualifications.
Because some of them on here are like spiritual warrior.
And then there's one that's just social worker.
So like she's helping people manage their demonic cases.
They show you different sides of their lives.
The admin is Ruth Jedida.
Jedida?
Jedida.
Ruth Jedida.
is the top contributor to
demons and sexual spirits. She is a
spiritual warrior and defender of Jesus
Christ. Thank you for defending him.
She's also a contributor to
Life is Beautiful with Jesus.
Aww. Aww.
I like it when people say nice things about Jesus.
Jesus is so dope.
But it pisses me off when they come
for him.
I can't stand it. I'm a member of
Roman space. What is this gif
that they're posting here of a woman getting
kidnapped in africa oh so the question of course is do mermaids and vampires exist
and but the person sam ain who's a minister of life as god designed it is trying to explain
who is behind all these mysterious disappearances well occam's razor vampires and mermaids yeah it's
got to be at least well if it's on land it's a vampire if it's in the water that's a mermaid
why are police not investigating this i would love these disappearances i would be very into
the NYPD putting all of their resources
into killing mermaids.
That would be great.
I don't know what was happening with this clip.
It repeated a few times in the beginning
just showing the guy getting kidnapped,
but it does have a dark cabal end to the clip
where somebody eats a human head
in a meeting where there's a bunch of guys
who are like,
hmm, this is a good head.
I love head.
As a vampire,
there's nothing better to me than whole head.
And then there's a picture of a plane
going into the ocean in a typhoon and then it goes to an underwater city yeah and he says read
uh this guy jonas's 14 chapter testimony on the internet how he served lucifer for 20 for 22 years
that's too long that seems like a great lot of chapters vlog to have though a mermaid was seen
live in kenya this is the same post by the way if you're listening welcome back to my channel
here's part three of my story about how i served lucifer for 22 years don't forget to like and
subscribe get ready with me while i talk about my boss lucifer it's like that kanye documentary
where like the first two parts of the documentary are like the first year and then it skips 20
what happened with lucifer for 20 years i have not seen that documentary it's great it sounds
really interesting it's from a guy who just uh was like kanye's best friend and then didn't get
famous with him and he's just like so he got famous and i don't know what happened he ran
had his stuff to say but he was crazy early i would hate to be kanye's friend who didn't get
famous but now i'd feel good about it i guess well there's a lot of stuff in the thing in the
in the doc that i think about every day like before he's famous like he's he's just stuck
doing the beats for all the rappers because he's the best beat maker and so like to get his name
out there he goes to the rockefeller studio and then goes room to room with his cd in a boom box
just playing it
at the employees
who are like
this guy will not leave.
But it worked.
It did work
and now I'm like
should I be more annoying?
Yes.
I feel like I maxed it out
and it can't get
much more than this.
You guys gotta go down
to Netflix HQ
and just
press play on a boombox
with this episode.
Oh my god.
Just wait to get kicked out.
We're looking at a video
of a mermaid
you can't see it.
I was genuinely
recently in a pitch meeting
for a TV show
with a cool executive.
I'd be playing part of the cool.
Can I ask how they were dressed?
I don't remember.
It was on Zoom.
Oh, okay.
Big, gold, Cuban links.
But they were cool.
Yeah, but it was a person who was very nice to us
and was nice about our pitch.
And at the end, she was asking me about Quarriators
because I had mentioned something about a podcast.
And she's like, you know what?
I'm driving somewhere.
I'll listen to the last Quarriators episode.
And I was like, oh, no.
It's always the one you don't want them to listen to.
Any of them, really.
But the most recent one was the poop episode.
And I would never heard back.
Alex, do you remember when we got pulled over?
Yes.
Okay.
So we were driving to do a show in Vermont.
And we went the wrong way and we're so late and had to get the car on a ferry.
Yes.
We were like driving up and then we got a, okay, in 15 miles, board the ferry.
And we're like, fuck.
by the point where the roads have closed and become a water passageway you've done something
wrong uh so i'm going like a hundred miles an hour and this cop pulls us over and he's like
license and registration and uh are you on any podcasts what no it happens i was like we're late
for a comedy show in burlington he was like oh yeah and you're like yeah we're on podcast he's
like i'm gonna check this out back to the other car and then uh i think like i don't know if he
pulled up the dragon ball z one or what was like all right you two are good let us go it checks
out you guys are pretty funny i love men's rights vegeta yeah like instead of running the plates or
whatever he went back and turned on a podcast in his car for five minutes and was like okay yeah
i love katie rose leone i see your friends with jabuki young white you're free to go
we didn't even get a ticket or anything no it wasn't even really a warning it was more like
i didn't know i remember uh you were really worried he was gonna find i think it was a
picture of like two of the dragon ball z characters making out in like a cop a cab t-shirts or
something there's a lot of a cap logo for your podcast like no cops on it jeremy hammond made
a lot of images that were not intended for a street stop scenario and i was concerned
He didn't intend for a cop to listen to it while pulling you over.
I thought we were just going to get a warning or whatever,
but I was like, is this going to turn into an arrest for my liberal podcast?
It was very stressful.
It would have been good advertising.
We did make the show, though.
We got the last boat.
Did it go well?
I think it was good.
We crushed.
A drunk woman tried to have sex with me.
I was paid in pancakes.
Whoa.
I don't remember that.
I remember the pancakes.
Oh, it was really bad.
I was trying to sell her a t-shirt
and she was trying to flirt with me
and I was like,
we're just talking right past each other.
Working at cross purposes here.
I really want to give you this shirt
and she's like,
a shirt, huh?
And I'm like,
what is this?
Well,
that's been demons,
demons,
intentional spirits,
and occultism.
I could spend more time on you.
All right.
Can we do one more question?
Yes, yes, we can.
All right.
Past do mermaids and vampires exist?
Do biblical stories about sorcerers
and magicians have lessons that apply to
modern life. No.
Next question.
How do I cast out a demon
that has been in my body for five years?
I like the interesting comma here.
This demon does nothing
but torment me every day by calling me
names and so forth. So like it doesn't do
anything. Yeah.
But it's a really low stakes demon.
He calls me fat.
He questions my
outfit choices.
There's one comment on that. We can see
what it says i like when there's real answers i hope he's just like you got to deal with your
negative self-talk nope it's god submit yourself to god that's the one answer frankly it's a good
answer i do feel like that is probably the answer on all of these yeah why don't you do some research
and find out if you should submit yourself to god for you step one pray a lot spam okay go off pray
a lot go off past also comic sans font for the fucking find god post oh there's five hidden
answers wow no these are these are um on other questions this is on how do i get demons out of
my body that is not what we were shit no we want to cast out a mildly annoying demon who is rude
yes he makes me really anxious about whether or not i was weird last night you were so weird
there's an answer behind for a plus what are you talking about
um all right let's let's go to some questions yeah your mom wishes you went to medical school
let's do the quoker yes i'm pulling it up
in salamanis your questions will they help us find god let's find out
okay this is a great question why can't a man control the darkness in his heart
it's a good question it's a big one yeah and it is covered in that great book and by that i mean
the bible the bible that's true there is a lot of talk of what there is like some significant
advice about dark hearts but the bible is somewhat kingdom hearts coded it shares a lot of themes
mickey mouse is in it is jesus in kingdom hearts they should add him in he's like not directly in
it but it's kind of like baffy basically is when you're in there for a while you're like i wouldn't
be surprised i feel the spirit of god in here yeah they also kind of like it's like a very um
biblical style story like it has all of creation in it and stuff in a way where it's kind of like
yeah because it's like a final fantasy epic scale kind of thing where they're like oh all of our
hearts are unlocked by a creator and mickey is using his key to open it japanese role-playing
games are usually very anti-christianity right yes a lot of time usually in most jrpgs if a
character is really into Christ,
it means they're going to turn into a dragon
and try to kill you.
It just occurred to me
that the J in JRPG stands for Japanese.
What do you think it stood for?
I don't know.
I'm not a gamer.
Jewish RPGs.
Jewish RPGs.
Role playing as another big money executive.
I didn't say it.
I never wonder why cloud causes so much strife.
The health meter is just like your IBS level of the day.
How's her tummy doing?
When you're dying, your character goes, I gotta poop.
Oh, no.
You have another attack from your mother.
Should we read the answers on this?
Oh, my cat just threw up a whole bunch.
Wow.
Read the answers.
Good distance on that, too.
Yeah, quite a trajectory.
What he's been doing, let's talk about Milo for a second.
He's doing, I think, what my cat does, which is eat a big leaf
and then use that as a propellant
to just launch everything in the stomach
right out onto all of your stuff.
Mm-hmm.
Does this happen with your cat's cat?
Oh, my God.
Whoa.
Ooh, cat's camera's down.
We're losing the podcast left and right.
Now, tell us if your cat barfs as well.
My cat loves to eat her food too fast,
and then, so it's like she throws up,
but it's really just like cat food
that was in her mouth for a second.
so it's not like that gross it's still good it's still like i don't love it i've definitely uh
definitely first thing out of bed stepped square in it before that's happened multiple times that's
one of the unpleasant ways to wake up does she do the dog move eat the food after it's been barfed
up no i don't think so although like uh it's still good i feel like i'm pretty proactive right i'm not
really leaving it you get in there i get in there although maybe in the middle of the night when
She's like, little midnight snack.
Sometimes I hear them do it in the middle of the night,
and I'm like, I'll find that way.
I've definitely done the like, oh, yeah, I hear it happening.
I'm not going to go find this at five in the morning.
Yeah.
There's simply no reason to.
Jeremy, by the way, a bit of an update on him,
bending all the way to the floor to just get the acidic slop off of his wood.
Back to this question.
So why can't a man control the darkness in his heart?
Cindy says, only man can control this.
If nothing else, pray to God for more help and understanding here.
No one makes hard decisions for us.
Ask God for real love.
And, of course, the caps on that are insane.
Yes.
They're up and down.
Pray to God, all capitalized, all capital, ask God for real love.
Yeah, love is all caps.
That's good advice.
Let's check out Cindy for a little bit.
I got it.
I got it.
Cindy.
Cindy.
My sweet Cindy Wendy.
My cat just straight up, like, he was just standing there and just, like, looked at us
and was just, like, bleh.
Yeah.
It was, like, jackass or something.
It really got some air.
Like, it went far.
Impressive.
It looks like Cindy posts every day.
She was on here yesterday.
And she's definitely, yeah, her caps are, I'm wondering, is, like, is this a German
speaker or something?
Like, a lot of interesting capital letters going on here.
39.2 thousand answers.
Question, does the Bible actually say that jealousy is a sin?
Yes.
we are to keep it out of us it's kind of one of the big ones it's like the second one i think
jealousy yeah don't covet yeah coveting we're always talking about coveting on here
um what i like about the bible quora questions is they are directly answerable
right they're always just like does the bible have lessons for us like that was one on the
demons thing unclear just checking in is it okay to murder
oh an answer from nalini partop read it all right nalini partop checking in are you trying to
control darkness or transform it there is no such thing as darkness it is only the absence of light
only the light of awareness can transform it nalini coming in hot on this one yeah i have
never heard this take on uh coming from a theologian before so let's say you get angry at
others trying to control it would be telling yourself i shouldn't get angry at others this
is not good i need to control how i react to others you make getting angry into a problem
okay so the answer goes on a lot longer but it's uh actually somewhat more intelligent yeah it's
actually like good advice i always like when we find a good one and we read it like it's an idiot
you need to go to a therapist to work on your anger oh actually they're right you can only
You control the way you react to people.
Meditate 10 minutes every day.
You dumb fuck.
I'm Nalini Partop.
You just got read on a podcast.
Shut up, Nalini Partop.
You guys really go full on doxing people on here, huh?
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Their names are all there.
How do we feel about that?
Because, I mean, as we grow as a podcast,
like, they put their names on there.
They put their names on there.
But do they expect four years ago that it'll be read?
I don't know.
The only thing is I really don't see a, like, how do we feel about it?
What if we feel bad?
There's nothing else we could do.
No.
We can't not read the names.
We're going to put the whole screen cap on the YouTube.
That's true, unless you want to do a lot of editing.
No.
We certainly don't want to do that.
That is not one of our options.
I just have to post in my own life,
assuming that it could be read on a podcast at any time.
Yeah, absolutely.
In a dumb voice.
Yeah.
I'm sure it has.
It's like getting pulled over on the highway and the officer asks to see your podcast.
Yeah, exactly.
People have sent me things I've written being made fun of on podcasts before.
Really?
Yeah.
But it's always been people who thought it was serious.
Right.
So it'll be like someone being like, you hear this fucking idiot in the news?
And it'll be like a joke I obviously made up.
You are like constantly having your jokes taken so seriously.
Alex says I have no sarcastic voice.
and then I think people on the internet
seem to agree with this.
That's kind of a liar's voice, isn't it?
It's interesting that that translates even to writing.
I know.
There's an inherent sincerity about you.
He's kind of playing his JRPG
as the dark elf of lies.
My Jewish role-playing game
of photoshopping a New York Times article
to say that the Pope was at the Seattle Autonomous Zone.
Why would you lie about the New York Times
like that so many articles were written about that like like five or six and all of them had
really funny headlines like even the pope isn't immune to fake news
a lot of so-called comedian comments yeah that's that's really like the bread and butter of people
getting mad at us on the internet is like your bio says comedian right it's like yes that's why
this is a joke you probably you don't like it but like i don't mean it it's not my fault that's why
my bio says celebrity chef your bio this so-called celebrity chef that would make me mad honestly
i am a real fake celebrity chef um my favorite not to get too stuck on bio jokes but my favorite
comment i got recently i think was someone was like this is so dumb you should put pronouns in
your bio hell yeah like i don't have them but you're still bad about it right exactly i need
to shoehorn this in yeah whatever anyway uh you cannot control the darkness in your heart there's
nothing you can do about it well actually you can control how you interact oh right yeah you can do
that we actually solved this one this one's actually solved well look at this factual graphic
um the brain of the meditator empty there's nothing in there well there's there's three
blue lines that are circles
and they're perfectly concentric, whereas the brain
of the non-meditator has asteroids
like the 1970s video
game. Which one of these is better?
That's what I mean. I don't feel
like there's a clear answer. You don't want asteroids
in it. You don't want asteroids? No, you want
it just free. You want it open. Head
empty, no thoughts. Yes.
The other one's got more going on. What if this purple thought
is actually a business idea that's really good?
Yeah. What if they're
coming up with something to put on the
blockchain what if that's that purple thing that's one of the bored apes you can get remember them
you're not going to be able to get it out of your big empty brain that way so you got to be able to
reach through with your whole arm this is also a screenshot of like an article again a word document
because it's written in times new roman it says holy smokes if you can't control your brain what
do you expect to be able to control i really like the use of holy smokes i don't hear that
much anymore. We're going to meditate.
Whatever happened to Holy Smokes?
Holy Smokes is good. We were talking
on my podcast the other day about
sports commentator catchphrases.
There's a basketball guy who always goes,
onions. I don't like that one.
I don't think it's kind of charming,
but I feel like Holy Smokes would be a really good one.
Holy Smokes is better.
It feels like if you have
a friend whose parents don't curse.
My sister
has a religious friend
whose mom says,
Christmas cookies
instead of cursing
and I don't like that.
I don't like that at all.
Well, it kind of seems like
they're pushing down
something really violent.
I like it.
That like is analogous.
I feel like there are
a lot of Jesus euphemisms.
Yeah.
Because you're not supposed
to take his name in vain.
I don't like that.
Which to me,
don't take the Lord's name in vain
means like make it really count.
Yeah.
Right.
Save a Jesus Christ
for like a really bad thing.
I say that all the time.
And don't lie.
Don't like say he's in kingdom hearts
or anything like that.
Is that taking his name in vain?
Yeah, it's kind of dragging him into other properties.
All kinds of properties.
You got to keep him in his IP.
The Bible.
No crossovers.
Keep the Lord in his own domain.
He's not in Fortnite yet.
You cannot play as him.
Do not attempt to play as him.
Buy my skin.
Jesus doing some dance.

uh let's go to the next question here okay we solved it okay well this is a police quora okay
yeah this is speak of the devil um 5qo that said it says it's 5qo this is 5qo nice you're not being
pulled over if you're driving this is just the podcast this is the sound from the podcast not
be alarmed keep driving yes or no does god basically command us to voluntarily confess
to law enforcement after a crime committed serious or not all one sentence no punctuation so this
particular question reminds me a lot of the christmas movie that came out starring um kurt
oh fuck i'm forgetting his name kurt russell as santa a few years ago i forgot what it was called
it was a netflix original santa movie where kurt russell plays santa cop and well santa comes in
Escape from the North Pole.
He has a lot of like law-based rules
that I have not heard Santa have before.
Oh, yeah.
He looks to punish criminals for stealing stuff.
Because they're naughty.
Yeah, well, they're the most naughty.
They've been found breaking the law.
And the whole time he's just like,
am I breaking the law because that's naughty?
Whenever the police are after you, that's naughty.
The police are good.
Everyone in prison,
they should give one lump of coal on criminals.
They should.
Right.
Yeah.
And they just have to eat it.
Yeah.
That's my version of prison reform.
It matches up with Santa's law.
I'm okay with it as long as citizens get presents.
I think it would be fun to have a local municipal present giving system where everyone in your town has to find out what you like.
A worldwide secret Santa?
Yes.
Yeah, that would be fun.
Whatever happened to giving the world a secret Santa?
everything has to be under five dollars it could still be fun uh but uh the question is does god
command us to voluntarily confess law enforcement the answer is yes or no the answer is no because
law enforcement in bible times is romans who are right evil demons jesus was like killed by the
cops he straight up was uh yeah he was uh knocked down a pig judas did snitch yeah that's the whole
thing. I'm trying to think of an example
that isn't really offensive. I was also trying to do
that. Me too. It's not easy
because of how sad all the examples are.
Trying to think of a not upsetting
example of a person killed by
the cops. Difficult to do.
Well, none of those have become religion.
So, I mean, interesting
how big it's gotten.
This Jesus guy who was killed by the police.
That's true. They were like, hashtag say his name
and it became a religion. Say his name.
His name is Jesus Christ. But don't say it in vain.
no very important actually don't say his name new rule no no it's bill maher
i love that bill maher is in the bible it's up is your new character christian bill maher
new rule and it's just 10 the 10 commandments is the new rule thou shall not covet your neighbor's
wife okay and thou shall look up and behold him and his eyes will be thine
He has the same affectation, but says long biblical passages.
He's really smug about it.
Oh, great.
For those who have turned to stone shall find the stone has turned unto them.
These millennials think that a camel could pass through the eye,
whatever it is, the needle of heaven.
I don't know enough about God.
That's right.
You got it.
Cool.
Jeremy, very good.
I know that one.
High score on your JRPG.
I know about the needle of heaven.
Heaven's a lot like a needle.
A really fun needle.
I can't find any answers to this question.
There's answers to similar questions.
Like this guy says God does not exist.
I know we go over this every week, but I don't know why they do this.
Where it shows you unrelated shit the whole way down.
Tommy Driver.
Tommy Driver.
This is Adam Driver's brother?
He's a former EMT.
He has a cool mustache.
He lives in Southern California.
His picture is just his nose.
Yeah.
Why would you make this your picture?
Let's talk about this.
Okay, yeah.
It is like, all right, the circle is to his top lip.
I love that we go from being like.
The crest of his eyes.
If we don't dox people, we'd have to edit the podcast too much.
You're saying where this guy lives.
Yeah, to being like, let's describe his picture in detail.
well that's a crazy way to cut it like you don't have any pictures with your whole head in it
it looks like it looks like he was trying to figure out the camera and took the picture by
accident we've all been burned by the crop he's simply he's simply a man seeking the truth the
whole and nothing but the truth noting but the truth jehovah is the true god there is no other
beside him i was trying to say at the same time and he knows about southern california and not
being currently affiliated with any organization i don't know he seems pretty affiliated with
jehovah's witnesses based on uh the spaces he's a part of the not current not affiliated with
any organization thing seems like the quora version of like i do not consent to the use
of my profile by mark zuckerberg do not read me in a podcast we've had we've seen a few that are
like that and we've been like we're gonna read you oh we're reading you've been read oh you're
one of the sad ones it's like when youtubers say like no copyright intended yeah okay well
too bad that's a video of goku it's like um all the trump posts where he clearly thinks thank you
for your attention to this matter like mean something legal he just writes it at the end
like he thinks it's like it's real now i declare now it's a matter it's very funny to do that when
you literally have ways to do that because you're the president of the united states powerful man
alive can rewrite the legal use of matter i want to read tommy's answer please read it first name
basis with tommy driver tommy says this question is not a simple yes or no law-abiding people
usually don't have a fear of law enforcement only those breaking it unforeseen occurrences do happen
however and we are commanded to follow the laws of the land except when it conflicts with god's laws
and principles and we are our brothers and sisters keepers yeah throw that in at the end tommy it's
good reminder cool kind of a really good point laws of the land except when they conflict with
god's laws well as we said at least jesus if you're a follower of jesus like no snitching is
in there it is so i feel like you don't have to snitch on yourself also law of the land uh
fifth amendment so doesn't conflict you don't have to confess shut the fuck up fourth amendment
Don't keep Centurions in your house.
That's third.
Whatever.
Shut up.
What's the fourth?
I don't remember.
I don't know what the fourth is.
The third one rocks, though.
It's really good.
I'm looking up the amendments.
You know what?
Pull the amendments up.
Go on Quora.
Put amendments into Quora.
All right, Jeremy and Tertia, what are the amendments in order?
To insert?
This is going to be very hard.
This is under Robert's rules.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So we just want to find a simple question.
What are the amendments?
So we're looking on Quora, which is the questions ask website.
And the question is, what are the amendments in order?
And the top answer is from Chris Stevens.
This depends on the rules of the particular body.
Under Robert's rules of order, the possible amendments are to insert, to strike, to insert, and strike, to divide the question, to substitute.
Great.
I don't remember to insert being one of the amendments.
I don't either.
Is that the one everyone's mad about?
I'm sick of this insertion.
get it out of here i i'm i stand by your right to strike but insertion is right out
here someone said there's 27 amendments and they go in order of one two three four five six seven
eight nine ten eleven shut up shut up jerry there's no answer there's no way and no one
has answered what the amendments are we'll never know we cannot find out we know it's to insert
and strike i plead the fifth and they're like to substitute well i don't want to know now we'll
moving on we'll never know i don't want to know what it is let's do religion segment this is
corbid and fruit don't don't you dare yawn on this bug i'm sorry i'm sleepy because it's hot
was that on the podcast where you said alex is sorry should i not talk over this
Who cares?
Don't talk over this.
Or I compared Alex to a horse.
Yeah, to your prized podcasting racehorse
where if any variable is off,
you have to shoot him in the leg or something.
I do, yeah.
That's what they do to racehorses.
They shoot them in the leg.
And they say, good luck now, asshole.
You have to understand, Kath is Italian.
But once this podcast is over,
we are going to breed Alex to make several more.
i'm just thinking like i'm from an italian family and when i think racehorses i think
killing them to get your money killing them to get your money yeah like you gotta light his barn
on fire where he sleeps my barn i actually just had new detectors put in to keep the barn if my
barn is on fire that's good uh here's a question how might jesus's experience as a carpenter have
prepared him for carrying the cross and is there any historical basis for this idea okay so
Carpenters have these thick calluses on their fingers.
That's true.
That's why you just pick up a tree and haul it.
But you will fall three times.
This begs the question, when did Jesus quit his day job?
How long was he a carpenter?
Was he doing that on the side the whole time?
Time skip.
Time skip.
It's a JRPG.
There's a big time skip in it because it has baby Jesus,
and they're like, this Jesus is going to be lit.
And then they skip, and then he just is lit.
like they don't have him getting any powers that's like that whole thing in um in a fucking
in righteous gemstones with teen jesus it's actually like a fire idea and i'm surprised
there isn't more teen jesus running around i think they're actually doing one like i remember
the week after that people are like holy shit they're making teen just expand the ip it's a
great idea expand his ip in his name i want to hear what he gets his powers i want to hear of
his many enemies and how they
were defeated by his love.
I want to see what kind of tables he's building.
Yeah.
I'd like to see the tables turn
on the Romans.
Which they don't because we know they get them.
It is interesting to wonder what he quits being Carpenter
though when he goes full time being
Jesus and people are like, oh, so you're unemployed
you mean?
I'm kind of king of the Jews.
I'm like a rabbi or whatever.
I'm committed. This is how you know I'm committed.
I got no backup plan.
I'm not wasting my time with carpentry anymore
All eggs in the messiah basket
That's right
If I was a carpenter would I have gone to that temple
And thrown out all the money lenders
That's something a carpenter would do
Wow that's pretty cool that he did that
Yeah it's kind of his one karate sequence he has
Yeah
He never like grabs people by the scruff and throws them
In any other story
Have I talked about on this podcast that I watched
The Last Temptation of Christ recently
And I didn't understand any of it
This is a good episode
we all watched a movie together and i remember alex and i like being i think it was a horror
movie we were freaked out by it you're like this did nothing to me because i don't care about it
was nicholas cage yeah what the fuck is between the three of us we have to get this fuck it was
a lot of long legs long legs with the last temptation this morning it was like a biopic
of jesus and i was watching with my wife and my friend who's uh very religious and i just kept
being like because i knew that they had changed a few things and it was controversial yeah i didn't
know what so i kept being like who's this lazarus guy they made up and everyone's like that's in
there and i was like what i felt like watching a marvel movie without having seen any of the
other ones yeah where's spider-man why is it in this one why are we all clapping when
saul is struck blind on the road to damascus that's really how i felt i didn't know that
he resurrected someone else.
Yes.
That is like,
Lazarus.
It's kind of crazy
that that isn't like
the main one.
Yeah.
No, it's more of a person.
They're like,
oh, he like made a bunch
of bread or whatever.
He brought a guy back to life.
Yeah.
Who's like his cousin
or whatever.
He brought himself
back to life
because that's,
he was AFK for that.
But he had already done it.
He was AFK for that.
I feel like that's
pretty relevant.
Also, I didn't know
because in superheroes
there's a thing called
the Lazarus pit
and I didn't know
that that's a reference
to Lazarus.
I thought that was maybe a
silver surfer character.
I always think of in Pete and Pete
the ice cream is called
an orange Lazarus.
It's like the best ice cream.
Because it brings you back on a hot day.
It revives you.
On a sleepy hot day.
Anyway, so we're going to read the Carpenter answers.
This is by Ian McIntyre.
I love the idea of asking a dumb question and being like
does anyone look this up and tell me if it's
actually true?
Ian McIntyre says, nice.
Nice.
That's a really good start.
He would have known the craftsmanship intimately.
Yeah, we didn't talk about the wooden aspect where he's like, this is a good cross.
These are two beams.
This is definitely going to hold my weight, unfortunately.
This is oak for sure.
You could definitely put pins through my hands and feet on this thing.
That's going to stick real good.
All right, so Ian says, he would have known the craftsmanship intimately, of course, and carried large wooden objects around for people and himself.
This is where he gets the abs from the picture.
That's true.
Great, in great shape.
I mean, this is, it is a good workout.
Again, going back to Righteous Gemstones, carrying that cross.
Access to protein was not abundant back then either.
So, you know, you weren't guaranteed to get that look.
That's true.
And then he says, no historical records of Jesus exist.
Out with the Bible.
Out with the Bible.
But that is not true at all.
there's a lot of historical records of jesus that's true like all historians agree that he
was a real guy and that he was fucking yoked he's out with he was eating way more of the fishes than
the loaves yeah yeah well if you could if you could make them then you should do that it's
actually perfectly ethical for you um and i'm just i'm really hung up on out with the bible
i've never heard that in sequence of the bible in with the quran
now with the old and with the new well also i the second question is mooted i've also never heard
that i've never heard that is mooted it's mooted it's like the opposite of goaded yeah from the
record i wanted to see um if he has his music because he's a musician i love finding people's
music on this website listening to it but whatever oh also anglo spotted is he anglo
yep oh don't uh he's in scotland we've gotten in trouble about this in the past
okay we've gotten in big trouble because someone was from scotland and alan alex hit uh anglo spot
big trouble well well well they came to my house they set my barn on fire
uh he's asking a lot of bible questions uh why can't we know about an earthquake before it hits
Whatever, who cares?
These are good questions.
I want to learn more about Jesus.
We can know about an earthquake before it hits.
They have a thing for that.
Not much in advance, though, right?
How far in advance do you need?
Relax.
Probably like a day would be good, I guess.
I think they know.
No.
They find out like 20 minutes.
Let's read this answer from Linda.
This is from Linda.
She lives in Florida.
I have pondered your question because I am not sure it is a legitimate question.
just how does the prior experience of working with wood aid this same someone with carrying
a huge beam of wood up a dirt path to a hilltop where he is then tortured by being nailed to this
beam and hoisted under a cross beam where he's suspended until he dies either his lungs are
crushed from the weight of his body or his heart stops from the lack of water and medical care
what is your real question are you mocking the crucifixion are you challenging the historical
jesus being tortured and hung by nails from a beam until dead are you having a immature reaction
to of the the fame of a religious figure who was tortured to death are you angry at the fact that
this cross is such a strong symbol to millions of people that you would mock the man himself
a carpenter please upvote this is slam upvote i feel like this is a type of christian they're
rare but they're it's a distinct minority we know this because of the passion of the christ but
This is a crucifixion pervert.
Yes.
This is like getting really into describing how gross it was.
She has 10 answers and they're all about Jesus.
Sure.
She's mad that people keep calling him a carpenter.
Well, in her defense, Jesus is her shepherd.
This is a funny question.
Why is Jesus Christ known as a well-known carpenter when he didn't build anything famous?
Really good question.
Really, really good.
Yeah, he built a path to heaven for you.
ungrateful
SOB.
I love the idea of being like, yeah, my apartment's
a Jesus. He built
this apartment. It's one of the only things he built before he
was killed. You like that arch?
That's Jesus. That's Jesus. That's a Jesus
original. I got it off Facebook Marketplace.
I've got a Jesus arch and then I have a
Hitler painting on it.
Also,
all of her answers appear to be going to people who
ask about his carpenter stuff and are like, stop bringing
it up. She doesn't think he was a carpenter
at all though, right? Because she says, I've never
I've never ever heard Jesus referred to as a famous carpenter until you.
And to tell you the truth, don't you sound a wee bit sarcastic?
Not even heard about as a mediocre carpenter.
He was initially a tradesman like his father, a tradition to follow in trade craftsmanship.
Shout out, Josie.
No shop, store, or trade shows.
He and his family lived a modest, if even that, life following the teachings of their faith
and helped each other survive a pretty simple, even harsh life.
Okay, but...
He was a carpenter.
What's he crafting, motherfucker?
if it's not stuff out of wood cabinets most likely i don't know what carpentry they did
back that table i like that her point is look he wasn't trying to get famous for his carpentry
fame is not a motivator that's the last sentence there he is not about he's just trying to make
some bread yeah i i feel like if you're quitting your day job in any way fame is a motivator like
that is i don't think it was the main thing but if he's like i'm sick of this side hustle shit i'm
going all in you probably had a big poster above his bed that said king of the jews on it yeah and
that was like circling it looking at it every day that's gonna be me i'm herod now
um okay well i think that's enough of her answers right it was she's mostly like really just coming
at people linda you're crazy for this one we love you uh another question yes what did god say after
he created Adam quote I can
do better than that and so he created
woman okay facts you got
a you got a question and then
an answer what are you posting on here for
yeah it sounds like you already know
it sounds like you're being quite rude to Adam
the top answer starts with nay
which I enjoy
more along the lines
and that's along is two word
and then he does a bible quote and then a picture
of God where he's like blue he's like a
blue guy I like that you instantly
were like that's clearly God
Who else would it be?
Old guy, that's God.
He's in the sky.
I call him out.
He's blue.
He's a guy with a beard in the sky.
If that's not God, I'll eat my hat.
I'm searching it with Google Lens.
Can you do that?
What is this?
What is this?
This is a Star Trek character.
This is God in Star Trek.
is god like from an like another planet like is he a guy or is it like literally god it says he's
shakari it says i don't know enough about star trek i don't know anything about star trek i know
it's way out of our yeah it's woke we're way out of our galaxy on this one
uh i feel uncomfortable here go back to quora how do i leave this stop google lensing things
great wait wait wait read the one below the good lord he giveth the tang down vote
hold on i gotta slam some buttons real quick oh baby
i'm responding to him he's giving him sass i said what the heck wouldn't it be funny if we
get banned for this one h asterisk ck yeah well i don't want to curse also this is a recent answer
which I really like.
Yeah, this is from March.
Yeah, we're knocking down the word Tang.
Don't bring Tang up here.
Okay, so this is from Christiane.
Christiane.
That's kind of a weird name.
Christiane Patterson Irwin.
She's a power user.
She has lots of 7.1 million content views.
But yeah, she has 5,000 answers.
Quora Queen.
And she also has a very zoomed in photo,
which we love on this website apparently.
Very good.
All hail the Quora Queen.
The journey never stops.
She says, it's really quite interesting.
Adam wasn't complaining needing company or whatever.
Heck, he didn't even know what company was.
He would tend to the gardens and animals in paradise,
then go to his room, pop a beer, and watch the game.
No, he wouldn't.
He knew what a game was.
He didn't have beer.
His friends were a snake.
But it was God who decided Adam needed a companion.
Snake more of a frenemy.
Yeah.
No really a frenemy.
Spoilers.
Spoilers for Adam.
don't trust snake he will betray you uh so in the night while adam slept he didn't mold her into
being from dust he opened the side of adam's body and created her adam's own flesh uh-huh from
hence from man came woman it is written when he woke up and saw her sitting there beside him he
was so overcome by her beauty that he spoke poetry i'm not sure why god decided later that adam
needed this companion why not when he first created adam okay so no answer here christian
Don't question him, Christiane.
That doesn't really give us anything.
Was this worth your time?
Do you see this?
This is new, right?
Was this worth your time?
And then we can answer it out of five?
Have we seen this before?
I would do a three-star review of her answer.
Absolutely not.
You're such a hard audience, Jeremy.
Christiane did her best.
She didn't answer the question at all.
She just said the same thing.
She said, I don't know.
No, she kind of told the whole story, and I thought it was a flawless victory.
Apparently, this will help.
victory this will push her lower on the page apparently oh pitswan emmanuel yeah he says uh
i think it went more like hey he's awesome i'll make sure more uh that more like him could come
into being automatically and so he created women irresistible and then he does a winky
pitsuan you dog this guy adam is awesome he's the only guy that's why he rocks
uh why did god create women because men didn't know how to behave
cool i want to see who asked asked this question we haven't looked at any askers this episode
i know you like to do this role then find out it's from anonymous no this is from
tv daniel katanga bassist motivation taekwondo expert business men that rules okay so this guy
has a tv show tight and he lives in kenya and it appears to be drinking straight from he has a
podcast oh okay oh shit pull up yeah let's pull up where did you say he lived this podcast is so
much bigger than ours no it's not 360 000 views okay actually that's pretty big
i don't know if it's his podcast but he's saying to listen to it that's all bots
Oh, he's a comedian, too.
This sucks.
Oh, my God.
He's taking our jobs.
He's brutal.
I don't really want to click it.
Oh, but it's just pictures of, like, guys falling down and stuff.
I mean, that's funny.
That's funnier than we are.
Blood of Abraham.
Oh, wait, no.
These are sketches.
These are good.
All right, hold on.
We have to watch one of his sketches.
Wait, but we can monetize it if we watch it.
I want to watch Growing Teeth.
Hold on, hold on.
Jeremy, if we watch it, it's going to fuck up our whole YouTube channel.
Oh, fuck.
You're right.
We'll just have to imagine.
i'm sure it's really really funny we could watch it and cut it and then describe it
no we're not gonna do that i'm cutting all this i choose to respect him and his channel
yeah you're right anyway this guy's just a freaking comedian making a hilarious joke
i wish i was he was doing the things he had a couple other bible questions he was doing a thing
that i feel like a lot of newer comedians will do where they're like i bet there's some funny
stuff about the bible i could talk about and they like go through and read it yeah yeah he's doing
that because he had something the one
underneath it was about Nebuchadnezzar
yeah the
sleep king that wasn't
in Last Temptation but check it
out it's a great movie you gotta see it's the name of
Morpheus's ship Willem Dafoe
plays Jesus in it it's a good movie
yeah did you like it even
not knowing what it was yeah
what was I was gonna say what was real
which I don't know if that's the right I genuinely didn't know
what was real no but no
because they make crucial edits to it
that piss people off so much that his own dad
Boycotted the movie
Paul Schrader's dad
Right not Jesus' dad
Who kind of boycotted saving him from the crucifixion
And we asked why he had forsaken him
I do feel like God has
Boycotted Paul Schrader
He's like been through it
Why have you boycotted me
He's like always going through it
He did sexually harass
An employee of his recently
That's true
That is a rough thing to do
because isn't he like
a Calvinist or something?
Yeah.
Where he thinks it's like
it's already decided.
So I guess I can
sexually harass people.
Is he a Calvinist?
I know he made that movie
Hardcore about Calvinism.
I feel like he is
or he was.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Who cares?
This is all legend.
He wrote Taxi Driver
about his own life.
It doesn't matter.
Did he do that?
He wrote Taxi Driver
and then in it
first of all
I love Taxi Driver.
I think the movie's amazing.
It's awesome.
He put it in his list
of the best movies of all time
which I think is hilarious.
rocks he's right he's right and then i read an interview of him recently where he talked about
writing that movie who was like i was just driving around new york a lot and being like this is a
movie i'm gonna kill the president yeah he was driving around new york doing the conor o'malley
thing about they're all slugs yeah and he was like i'm making this a movie he was right to do it
i mean if you're gonna be doing that there are a few outcomes one of them is doing taxi driver
in real life, and the other is writing
Taxi Driver, and he made the right call.
That's a safer one.
I'm just going to write about a guy putting his hand
over the oven. It almost got Ronald Reagan
killed. How bad of a movie could it be?
That's true. That's a really good point.
It really adds to its
quality. Someone successfully
shot him, and he was just like, no problem.
Well, I got a big hole in my
brain already. I can take another one
in my belly.
You think one hole's going to
stop me? It hasn't yet.
I love hoes.
He was like,
the more the merrier, soldier.
That's a pretty good Reagan.
That's not bad.
Too bad it's 2025.
He's been dead for 21 years,
but great.
You nailed it.
You shoot him and he's like,
hey, Ren Contra.
Okay, here's a question.
Is touching feet allowed in Christianity?
Ooh.
I didn't say it.
Wait, we have an answer by Lady Llama.
Cass, do you want to read this?
I like that really the bare minimum of qualifications here on this profile.
Her qualification is knows English.
Yup, that's all we need.
Who about Gus?
Lady Llama has logged in.
Lady Llama.
Know your feet, feet emoji, is sacred.
To a man who appreciates a broken person will heal from his wounds.
Okay.
If your feet are soft as baby and you're with a man whose feet looks like rocks and you
keep telling him, go the pedicure to remove dead skin from the feet, can cause dead emotions
within you.
That is, okay, I'm questioning her qualification here.
She doesn't quite know English.
That's fine.
I'm getting the spirit of it.
I know what she's talking about.
She knows more English than I know of a second language.
That's the thing we always run into when we read a broken English thing.
and we're like, oh, they're one of the 60%
of Quora users from India.
I don't know any Indian language.
Exactly, who know multiple languages
and we're like, you speak the third one you learned
not fluently, idiot.
Yeah, but I understand what you mean.
I guess you're actually like three times smarter than me.
Anyway, go back to the thing about
Christians can't touch feet.
This is like, she's really painting a picture.
It's like a whole scene about
talking about feet.
Okay, wait, wait.
So to brush up on the scene, your man asks you to go and get a pedicure with him and
you say no because of the dead emotions and you do not want to listen.
No, it's the other way around.
The man doesn't want to get the pedicure.
Oh, we've all been there.
You have soft feet.
The man does not have soft feet.
Right.
It's a problem.
Classic, which means he has bad emotions, which I think is true.
I think that is true.
I feel like health of your feet.
I was actually a little panicked.
Are my feet in the show?
I can cut them if not.
We can zoom real far in.
It's fine.
think of the last time I was on the show I talked about
Claire is always putting her dogs
in front of my face in the camera
people have commented on it
it's fine I was just wondering
again if you are masturbating to the show
one time I blurred Alex's feet for an episode
that's for
the money maker if you are jacking off
to the show you have to go to patreon.com
I feel like blurring them is like
I don't know I'm not like a foot person so I don't
know how it would affect it but I do feel like
that is like more erotic
because it's like forbidden.
Yeah, but they can't see them and they get all mad.
It's mystifying.
Yeah, but what if then you get like a little like peak
when he like moves his foot fast or something.
Maybe you're right.
I don't know.
The blur moves.
Yeah.
I'm going to read the rest of the answer now.
Oh, yeah.
Sorry.
This is very important.
This third paragraph is a bit much.
The finished paragraph two.
It opens in media res.
Yes.
The third paragraph.
That's the path you choose, not mine.
Don't listen.
You will feel.
Okay.
Oh, ah, that really hurts, honey.
Can you do it for me?
Why?
As I like it when you do it.
Yeah, but you keep complaining about it.
Just remember my feet are extremely sensitive.
I don't like anyone touching my feet but you.
Okay, I know your feet are sensitive.
You need only one treatment to your feet.
If your feet want to heal, it will work once.
If your feet is really bad, you will see a change.
but the feet need to be pampered so you don't have time to do it i want to relax i don't know
what character that is this is all the same paragraph not keep working and working and
working for men who don't want to listen let me pay for it i want to i have the money i do not
want to take your money he says i will do it next month he says if you know that the work i done on
your feet put a spring in your step would you not want to get it done asap nope adamant as he is
If your feet are rock as stone, so will your emotions be.
What would it be?
If that doesn't get an upvote, what does?
This is written all in one paragraph with no quotations, which is very annoying.
But it's also like, I don't know, how like blood meridian is.
I was going to say, is there a McCarthyian?
What am I supposed to say?
You're just supposed to like.
It's basically blood meridian.
Part of this answer is in Spanish.
This is about Judge Holden's feet.
They were definitely hard as rocks.
Oh, it really hurts, honey.
I don't know how that answers the Can Christians Touch Feet thing.
I think it means that they can, right?
It's some mixed messages about touching feet.
Your man's got rock feet.
I want to know more about Lady Llama.
You don't want to look at more answers?
Where do you live?
She lives in London.
Okay.
Alex, hit it.
You can now press the button.
All right.
Oh, wait.
We did the wrong accent for this one.
anglo spotted you are an anglo and you've been spotted former omnipresent is a good
what that's what it says oh for career sure that's formally former formerly formerly she
was omnipresent is a good okay we need to read more answers about the feet one because i don't
care about this lady she has nothing to say this guy cristo says it is not prohibited but touching
the feet should be done with good intentions touching the feet of a guru is an indian culture
of honor pope francis with sudan leaders he was always washing people's feet that was a big thing
he was into i mean he's way too into these feet oh yeah you know what i'm happy he's dead
come on man death to foot fetishes come on get out of here oh god this is all behind quora plus
by the way give a little smooch if you want to look at these pictures of pope francis kissing
feet you better pay up i always liked in the bible where they wash the feet with their hair
that's some freak shit that is some freak shit oh i didn't know your hair stays it stays footy
yeah hard to get the foot it's more like you're contaminating the foot you're contaminating the
hair with the hair yeah rather than washing the feet the rest of the day yeah definitely yeah
this guy anson says yes dear touching the feet refers to bending down in front of elderly people
and teachers to touch their feet
and then touch your forehead
with the same fingertips
to show that you have actually
touched your forehead to their feet.
This is a very good Indian practice
of showing respect and love
for the elderly and to the teachers.
I know there's overlap,
but there's a Venn diagram here
of Christianity and India,
which is being collapsed into a circle.
India is also lying.
All right.
Well, that's enough of that question.
Everyone said yes, though.
We can agree with that.
You totally can.
It's like a thing.
No one is saying no.
As a matter of fact, you must.
Yeah, it's like virtuous.
You must touch the feet.
Virtuous to do so.
Is that okay, Alex?
Or should we just do another question?
Do you want me to...
You know what?
I didn't get one this week.
All right.
Send in questions to quarriers at gmail.com for our Is That Okay segment.
Let's do one more forbidden knowledge because I had to clean up cat throw up.
So I want to make sure that we have enough.
it's a shame that you'll be leaving that whole thing in i will if you want i don't care i don't
know what you guys said i'm sure it was all very kind it was fire when people use a circle or line
of salt to keep out evil i'm confused is it to contain a bad spirit that someone has somehow
summoned or is it to protect the household or area to keep the bad spirit outside or both
and why salt this guy's confused okay so i guess you use salt to keep out evil is that a thing
yeah it's like they can't cross over the salt right yeah because they're they don't like spices
because they're freaking anglos hit it alex i'm not gonna hit it for that that is somewhat why
because they're even whiter when they're dead because they're ghosts yeah i don't know i don't
know why it is maybe cora will teach us um yeah i mean these are the kinds of questions that i kind
of sneak in there because i genuinely want to know i think you're right i think it's because
with their ghosts they become even whiter like some of them i'm like oh look at this dumb ass
but then another one's like why why is it yeah but seriously yeah but why is that i don't well
we have an answer here i wonder if it would work if you'd use like silica gel or something it would
not work it wouldn't work it would not work i'm just thinking about like is it because it like
sucks up the demon moisture or something if it's moisture based are our ghosts slug like
They have a membrane in it.
And they cross the membrane of our world.
Yeah, it's true.
And so it gets a little stuck to them.
There's a top answer from Demetrius Almirantis.
To quote Demetrius Almirantis, wow.
Very Greek of you.
The question has only been up a day and already four posts
offensively defending scientific materialism.
What accent is this?
Vampire, I think.
this i think this guy was being kept out of a place by salt this guy you're doing scientific
materialism with everything from kindergarten insults to patronizing tirades i wish i had that
kind of turnout on my questions i've never heard of salt as a protective measure for he's already
like i don't know i've never heard of this for a spirit someone has somehow summoned on the whole
any traditions that, one, summon a spirit
explicitly conceived as hostile
bad, and two, erect a barrier
against it, usually on the model of European black
magic, do so with more upper-class
tools. Prayer,
writing, willpower.
He's saying salt is for plebs.
Yeah, salt is for poors.
That's sad. Kind of the opposite
of African kings, though, you know,
because salt used to be very expensive.
Also, the idea of magic
circles and strict separation between summoner
and summoned are not the general rule,
They are a highly eccentric European idea
that I suspect emerged outside practicing mystical traditions
and was at best grafted back into them.
What I like is how this guy sounds so batty
and then so well-read at the same time.
Yeah, I feel like this happens a lot on here
where it's just like, this is coherent.
It really has very little to do with the question.
It's just a guy talking.
We didn't get into the book of Zohar yet
because that's coming up.
This is really just nothing to me.
I feel like I find myself zoning out.
it's like so many words and I don't
I've read nothing
we didn't get into the book of Zohar yet though
so for example although I don't have it on hand
I recall Sholom
mentioning how the book of Zohar contains
a colorful description of how
sorcerers summon up demonic partners from the
Sitra Ara or other side
YouTube has this feature where you can see where
people stop listening
and I can't wait to see where people go
this is when they start listening because they're trying to figure out
some salt shit real quick
he's making all these references
and it's like this could all be in this guy's
mind. Yeah. This could be
a Demetrius
original. Look how long this is.
Oh my god.
He has a word cited at the end.
You don't want to find out about
the book of Zohar? To be clear, this is like
for those listening, like eight paragraphs
or maybe ten paragraphs. They're all long.
No one is asking, is our children learning
from the book of Zohar?
And the answer is no.
Don't mess with the Zohar.
i say i'm gonna come back and read this about free time lee says tbh i think it's to protect
the house my aunt did that after my uncle died and a woman came into their yard once they know
they knew the woman but she never told them she did it or why she did it also she kept going around
their house right after my uncle died for some days at exactly 10 30 in the morning she was there
and once she carried something white in her hand and in the next clip of the camera it was gone so
my aunt did it to protect everyone in the house after finding out my uncle died supposedly because
of magic and my aunt didn't
want it to happen again also
if someone knows about this and what that woman
was doing please tell me because I would like to know
no period
look at the comments Christine says
might have been salt to ward off evil
yeah that's what we're talking about Christine
and Maggie says they're a person
that lives next door to me she put
white salt around my car what
do at mean she told me
my family she a witch
I think she's that's how you like get
a car if you're a witch. By the way, I put
salt on your car. I'm a witch.
If you're
wondering about where that salt came from,
it's because of me being a witch.
I'm doing witch stuff.
I'm up
to all kinds of untoward behavior.
Alright.
Yeah, I don't know.
There's no real answer
to this. Oh, look. More
poems. My comment to
Dimitri. Wait, this is Dimitris
Sotiropoulos. Why are Greek people
popping off in here what about this question is greek it's attracting the greeks like moths to a
flame i'm gonna read the first few lines of this one uh uh he says my comment to dimitri almiranti
to the point congrats line of fire circle that caused scorpion to suicide is considered as the
separation with the other side and el ahra today in arabic means the others oh yeah that's actually
true okay so that um there was more on that but uh greek people are out of control what's up with
y'all yeah you guys are going greek people sound off look he's got a he's written demetrius at the
end but the d is a delta he's going off it's just one letter in greek but the rest is in uh
the carthaginians should have finished the job oh no all right well well that's that that's that
