Episode Date: May 22, 2023

Comedians Alex Ptak and Jeremy Kaplowitz explore the mysterious land of Quora.com to answer life's questions. This week's questions include: I fired my employee for eating a hamburger during his lunch... break. Was I within my rights? Why can't Laura Ingraham close her mouth fully (her teeth are always showing)? If I want to drive to Alaska but am not allowed in Canada because of my felonies, what can I do? It is my constitutional right to visit a state in my country. Starting point is 00:00:00 If you're a crack detective and you're not sprinkling crack on your clothes, you might be a redneck. I'm John Mulaney, and I've found a redneck. That's pretty cool. It's you in the crowd. See, I would like it much better if he came back and was a whole new guy. John Mulaney? Yeah. I think, what I think is, at the beginning of the new Mulaney special, he's like, remember when I was singing and dancing?
Starting point is 00:00:33 Yeah. I guess it was the cocaine that did that. I was addicted to cocaine. It's like, you're still doing it, buddy. You're doing it. I think he should have come back. First of all, I like the special. You're a Fruit Loop who loves to sing.
Starting point is 00:00:44 I think he should have come back and been like, yep, it's me, John Mulaney. I guess this was better than jerking off tonight. I am basically a Marc Maron-style comedian now. Yeah, I've been through a divorce. Nothing funny to say about that. Nothing funny to say about that. What are you laughing at? He just starts yelling at people.
Starting point is 00:01:08 You! What's so funny? I like the way that you're doing it, too, where he's picking out that boy in the balcony and just giving him a piece of his mind. You think this is a joke? You think it's funny to laugh at a man's addictions? Not a joke to be seen. I'm going to make up a GQ article I was in. I'm making sure that, I mean, you already looked at it, but I'm making sure.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Hey, everybody. Hey. How's it? Oh, didn't see you there. We're a bit sleepy here today. You're listening to the Quaraders podcast. Let's hear that famous sound. Hey.
Starting point is 00:01:42 yo what's up dog it's quarators i'm jeremy this is alex hey before we get too sleepy move by the way i was trying to make that part of the dance that i just want to make sure i came across where it's like oh i'm going to sleep not a lot of people go to sleep in their dances yeah not on the floor untapped because they're afraid someone will steal their girl that's the reason that's the number one reason sorry man you were sleeping you know i had to slide in there now i'm married to your wife well i saw you doing the sleeping dance so uh she looked lonely where's your guy he's sleeping this your guy rum tiddly tum
Starting point is 00:02:37 rumple stilt skin thank you for knowing what I meant there because I did not find I reached in the bag and did not get the name is your man rumple stilt skin guess what babe I'm awake as fuck could you imagine being called rumple stilt skin
Starting point is 00:02:56 by a rival in love showing up at the club being called rumple stilt skin oh yeah that's embarrassing oh my god you lose your girl well there's no guest this week so don't worry about that uh guess what we started a patreon if you if you're like boy do i love these episodes and i'd love to listen to two more a month one more every other week that's right guess what we're doing it on patreon that's an option you can get it's also if you're listening to the show and you're like i'm 80 of the way there but i just don't like quora very much great news we go on other websites we do but you know what the word door raiders is just such a
Starting point is 00:03:37 perfect name that how could you not do it how how are we not going to go on next door once you come with door raiders how could you miss facebook raiders knowing that's on the table for you so be sure to check that out that's patreon.com i think it's a good i think it's good the first episode yep oh baby yep and there's new sounds so if you're like boy do i wish i could hear some of those i'm not playing them now okay i'll do the one i'll do the one oh no and that's a bestiality comes up but it probably won't it probably won't this time i didn't know that's what that was for so the person who sent it in said that we should do that when bestiality comes up but okay yes we played it a lot last time i think it's a sound you want to make it's a sound
Starting point is 00:04:26 you're on the internet and that's just the sound you want to make jeremy what do you think bestiality even is for mario do you think mario can have sex with like a koopa and that's bestiality or they're sentient you know oh no he has a wider range than we do yeah for sure because pretty much like him and peach don't even seem like the same species no um depending on the canon yeah a lot of thoughts on that like and there are definitely a few princesses that are like not human but are definitely put there to be like what if she bred with mario that's why they're in the game what if there's their seed combined it's confusing so it's like okay i think if mario fucks a koopa that's just fine that's normal and honestly if you if you don't like it fact
Starting point is 00:05:08 you're disgusting you're the problem but if mario fucks yoshi it's like everyone has to talk to him yeah then it's a big yeah he's a stand-in for a horse you can't be fucking don't make love we've all seen his tongue we know what it can do but you can't do it is there any better way to pick up somebody at a bar than just doing the yoshi battle bar we have bad news we we all saw what yoshi laid it's a big egg and no one wants to know what's in it no one wants to know what's in the abomination half mario half yoshi creature that would really be a testament to how fertile yoshi is he is so fertile to produce something even with mario itself um but no i do think there are barriers there and i'm glad we got this out of the way up top um we got some
Starting point is 00:05:51 great quaras for you today you're gonna love them and we're not just doing the bad ones because no guest is here well i think that it's a unique opportunity to do the ones where um if we set it to a guest they'd be like i don't know that that just seems like a weird thing to ask if a guest says pause that's dead air on the podcast yeah we can't have that so for the guests we have to find the ones that are like what if i tried to fuck a gun so that it's really cool stuff like that it's like bowling with the uh fucking things up the bumpers it's pretty much like candle pin bowling having a guest here fucking bumpers are we're all bowling professionals well let's see how our question from last week is doing oh right i forgot about that
Starting point is 00:06:35 one segment uh quora.com you're typing in a quora.com a new character italian jeremy right in with your drawings of italian jeremy is beach photo gone wrong that just looks like a normal beach photo yeah well and more importantly it's an ad i won't be able to get a picture of so it's not looking at alex patel is this how you find our question you type my name in all right there's gotta be a better way there's gotta be a better way uh i forgot that i'm on your account on my account i have to search your name okay yeah no on mine this is a great question on mine it's under my you know name um okay the question is okay how do i convince my fiancee to stay virgins after we get married now before we get into it do you have any
Starting point is 00:07:28 thoughts on this question uh how would you convince your fiance to stay virgins the question is how did i convince my fiance what was your strategy um would you like to phone a friend i i would like to phone a friend to remember what i did um yeah you just want to like make yourself seem really undesirable physically but also emotionally somebody you can't let go of So maybe you could either, assuming that you're not both super on board for this right away, pretend you've been in some kind of accident, but in a way that they would not be able to get to the bottom of, like a chemical spill sort of sexual accident that's like, I'm no good down there.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Yeah. But in a way where you can't go have sex with someone else either, because I will never forgive you. Babe, I'm so sorry. My dick's the joker. I got two-faced down there. and my dick is blue one of my balls is a vat of acid just like sideways just like a bit it didn't get on my leg my dick is crazy it's the joker
Starting point is 00:08:37 the can of sex it's not the hero the city needs i'm shooting silly string down there babe we can't do it uh yeah i guess i that would be my only idea would be a fake accident what about you um yeah i think i'd have to try to convince my wife that it's like so much sexier and uh will come even better if we don't fuck save it for death yeah there you go you're saying what if we have sex on the last day of our lives how good will it be we'll do the last Last of Us thing where like the day I'm gonna die
Starting point is 00:09:18 you decide to commit suicide and we we finally tie the knot. Yeah. That's hot. If you've been a virgin up until marriage
Starting point is 00:09:28 you're probably pretty good at staying abstinent so then it might just be like why break the streak? My my big 80s when I if I ever go back in time
Starting point is 00:09:36 and become an 80s club comedian Oh you're always saying this. It's my big bit is gonna be when I go back in time no sex till marriage buddy I ain't having sex after marriage.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Do it My wife won't fuck me She won't do it Doesn't stop her From fucking everybody else So Andrew Dice
Starting point is 00:09:56 May Andrew Dice May Sure yeah You know he's Jewish Andrew Dice I believe it He's a Jewish man He's not Italian
Starting point is 00:10:04 His name is like Andrew Dice Silverstein Or is he a pizza bagel He pretends to be Italian That's so weird Sometimes in New York People pretend to be Italian This is a thing that happens
Starting point is 00:10:15 Jews and Italians are kind of the same thing, but yeah, his real name is, let's see. Well, especially New York-wise. Yeah, his real name is Andrew Clay Silverstein. That is an aggressive change. It's a very different name. Hickory dickory dock. A mouse went up and sucked my cock. I'm not sure this is very woke of us.
Starting point is 00:10:37 I see what you're doing. The bad news is that every one of the answers we got on this question is from a listener. Ha ha, guys. very funny that no one really wanted to answer our question i'm sure i feel like we gotta read one of them yeah i'll read some so this is a reference to our question from last week where we asked how to marry ninja okay says congratulations i assume ninja wasn't a virgin since he was married before but if he is then i recommend lowering his sex drive so he won't uh want to elope you uh perhaps you could put estrogen in his scrambled eggs that's
Starting point is 00:11:14 from tobias franklin oh because we were getting married to ninja right yes um yeah i mean getting married keeping ninja celibates tough this is rowdy elf so rowdy elf is a listener rowdy elf you're in the chat every week rowdy elf you gotta put those scramble but as we can tell from your post history you are also answering a lot of other quoras and that's what we want to encourage on the show yeah join the community stay a while hey come to the podcast sure but then stick around Make Quora a better place. We want to be the scourge of the Quora community where everyone's double-checking they're not a listener of this show
Starting point is 00:11:48 before they answer questions. They're spreading like the Zerg. Start putting scrambled eggs in your non-Quorators-related answers. If you're thinking about answering a Quora, you do not require more overlords. Get out there. That's a Zerg reference, and I regret saying it. Carl Hungus says,
Starting point is 00:12:08 i have found that open discourse and honesty is the best way over breakfast before we were engaged i made my fiance a terrific dish of scrambled eggs i said to her i love you and your love is all i need as long as i know that in your heart that you love me just the same there doesn't need to be any physical to action to show that love i have eczema too and i wouldn't want her touching me anyway so that's similar to what we said what we were saying about the joker dick yeah which again again the joker didn't fall in a vat of acid in his toothpaste no i think joker did joker's just like that i thought did you not see the joker there's no part where he falls in a vat of acid it depends on the iteration but i think a lot of jokers he's sometimes he's a comedian who
Starting point is 00:12:47 falls into a vat of acid sometimes he's a guy who just said what about him day what about him is at like acid victim e sometimes he's a um a criminal named like the red hood yeah and he wears a red thing over his head and then he falls into a vat of acid i'm telling you i'll look it up it's just that he doesn't look like he's you know what i'm getting too stuck on the joker again and every week i get so mad about the joker look that's the joker i guess sure why would you look like that after what do you mean what about acid makes you look like the joker i don't know let's find out i don't want to okay no this is this is not is this who we are by the way if you must answer one of our questions please keep putting scrambled eggs and that way we know what's going
Starting point is 00:13:35 on with that cool jeremy stop looking at the joke this is the joker jeremy get out with a lady that is kind of nice and that's the thing is sometimes the joker the joker has urges yeah besides urges to do crime yeah that's what i was gonna say again it's a very sleepy episode here All right, let's get into this. This is the sleepiest time of day. Do we have a Quirk Place button? I forget. Yeah, we do.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Hold on. Do we have, like, the Office theme? This is just a gunshot. That's correct. Should we try to play, like, the Office theme song or something? Is that? Eh, who cares? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:17 If you can do copyright-free Office music. Let's look it up. All right, we're quickly going to YouTube Studio again. Copyright. Free. Office music. There we go. Is this just going to be like copyright-free Bruno Mars?
Starting point is 00:14:35 Let's see, baby. Okay. Yeah, turn this. Welcome to The Quirk Place, where we read quoras that are related to being at your job. Hey, are you listening to this on your Monday morning commute? Maybe this question is relevant to your interests. Quora.com. Quorators listener Ryan Yates sent this in.
Starting point is 00:14:59 I have a co-worker who spends 75% of her day every day in the restroom. How do I approach someone about this? I've already told my direct superior, and she just brushed it off. All right, so being in an office is being part of a team. I'm going to turn this off. Oh, okay, that's fair. Should I not? I was just going to leave it going.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Oh, yeah, that's it. We got it down pretty low here. Being in an office is part of a team. Seeing one member slacking off can be a real detriment to your get-up-and-go to your office mentality right i say this there's gonna be a lot of people who are like trying to shut this question down is what i'm saying i don't i don't think we should do that i'm saying how dare you what i'm 75 percent of her day that's a normal amount of time to be taking a fucking shit i did read the answers on this a lot of them are like she could have
Starting point is 00:15:48 shit all day disease which we are real big of you to try to stop that and that is true that's a thing that could be happening and we would have to respect that and then there is a more likely version that we also have to respect that she is in there playing monkey bloons tower defense and that is just as good as having a disease where your small intestine is hooked up to a uh like chemical waste factory thing a mile across town and there's a tube that goes directly in your tummy and shoots it out. I think that's likely. Because of the condition you have.
Starting point is 00:16:25 I think that if it doesn't affect your work, then you should start going to the bathroom 75% of the day. Why are you judging this lady? It is a real... Who clearly has figured out how to do the job the best way. It's a Dwight from the office situation for sure. Do you want to be Dwight? Do you want to be Dwight?
Starting point is 00:16:40 From the office? And I know a lot of people do, but I assume you're not one of them. Who do you want to be? You want to be Creed? You want to be Jim. You want to be Ryan. Ryan.
Starting point is 00:16:52 All the boys. Are we supposed to like Ryan? I don't think so. Okay, because he always made my skin crawl. I don't like Ryan. I don't even like BJ Nova. I think people always are like, you don't like Ryan, pretty anti-Semitic of you. And it's like, that's not what I meant.
Starting point is 00:17:07 Alex, you don't like that he's Jewish? I just don't like Ryan as a whole thing. Yeah, that he goes to Temple all the time. he's constantly praying to jewish god you ever ask yourself who controls the office's money it's ryan it's ryan after he's promoted to michael's position this has got to be a corner of the internet somewhere anti-semitic office unfortunately it's not the current question we're on so let's get back to that okay um van hayhouse says it sounds like you were not her boss and her actual boss doesn't seem to
Starting point is 00:17:48 care did this situation adversely affect your job if not ignore it not your problem if it does affect your job approach your boss with those concerns and ask your boss how she would like you to deal with this meaning the impact on your job not your co-worker that is mia in the bathroom she is your manager ask your manager to manage wait what this is an interesting post in that it's like mind your own business and also respect your boss at the same time you dude you gotta respect your boss your boss is she the boss leave the ceo in charge of bathroom use oh i see he told this the they told the direct supervisor and she brushed up they ran told them they've got a bathroom deal they're running yeah she could be doing her work in there yeah maybe as long as she's getting her
Starting point is 00:18:31 numbers up that's so true she's shooting those numbers down we're talking the numbers one and two folks piss and shit poops and pisses and shit down into the sewer down into the fucking sewer where they feed the crocodiles they're eating our poop down there you know those stories about the crocodiles get flushed down the store and then they like live down the store that's always like those crocodiles die right you would be poisoned if you were flushing a crocodile down a toilet people get pets that they shouldn't have and then like get rid of them that people just do well i I know that people will leave their goldfish in the lakes, and goldfish technically can be like 30 feet long.
Starting point is 00:19:11 They just don't get that big because they're in a fish tank. Excuse me? And then goldfish will destroy a lake. Goldfish can get 30 feet long? Yeah, dude. I don't know. Get up. Quora.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Quora.com, Jeremy. This is too important. Refuse to ask Quora about lake goldfish? Wow, those are big. Those are way bigger than I thought those could get. These are so big. The fact that I'm going to have to go find this picture later is annoying. But, yeah, they really do get, they become real hecking chonkers.
Starting point is 00:19:40 They fuck up the ecosystem because they, like, don't know how to behave. They don't know how to, they weren't raised right. No, they, like, kick up the dirt and shit like that. It's a whole problem. Ah, geez. Anyway, don't do that. If you have a goldfish in your life, don't raise it like that. If you don't want it anymore, hit it with a hammer before you put it in the lake.
Starting point is 00:19:59 I don't want to encourage strangers to hit fish with hammers. You have to consider the broadcaster's ethic here. I was doing a joke. That was a joke. It's a joke. Don't do that to your fish. Don't do it. But also don't do the other thing.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Don't. Stop doing things. Stop doing things. All right. What's another answer? 75%. Really? How much time do you waste coming up with that calculation?
Starting point is 00:20:24 You're a fucking idiot. Really? 75%? 75% sounds likely. Basically, you're saying, I assume your co-worker is woman. I think he said she, right? I assume your co-worker is woman. Oh, I mistook it.
Starting point is 00:20:37 The she is the supervisor. Right. And there's a lot of anger there in that she. Okay, so why are you assuming co-worker is woman? Why are you assuming co-worker is woman? Just because she shits all day? And are you a caricature of a Russian? I assume your co-worker is woman.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Women spend 75% of the day in the bathroom. She is in deep labor. She passed baby into toilet where it become goldfish. This is part of the problem. This podcast. We're spreading ignorance. This is not what we should do. Anyway, Maggie goes on to say,
Starting point is 00:21:22 if you work an eight-hour day that she should spend, that she spent six of those hours in the bathroom, I seriously doubt that. Okay, well, that's a lot of negativity. Thanks. That's not what we do with the questions on Quora, is it? Maggie for real. Wait, it's Maggie frail.
Starting point is 00:21:36 It's not Maggie for real. Maggie for real. That's funny, though. I want to forward that to Maggie for real. I'm stealing it from the perfect movie, Popstar, Never Stopping. Oh, yeah. The character's name is Connor for real.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Ambie Samberg. His name is Connor for real. in the movie yeah oh this could be a good mad magazine character nimby sandberg that's good it's andy sandberg he doesn't want public housing built for some reason then the sandberg sandberg there's a writer's strike right now but yeah please do not sell that to any studio write it down get it percolating okay and the strike is over call us nimby if you're out there nimby get on the line uh well that's gonna be that's gonna be it for this question i think we've really milked it dry you'd be sandler who's adam sandler but he's a yimby
Starting point is 00:22:31 oh yeah anyway uh yeah i don't know uh go yell at your co-worker i don't know confront her confront her why do we're just posting photos of one amazon warehouse in your backyard um okay we've turned the office music back on i see all right number two this is our second office question i fired my employee for eating a hamburger during his lunch break was i within my rights big yep for that one poppy the rights are you are the king of the bosses are gods if you have a stapler you're the king if you're the boss you're the king of your job that's that's what your job is you can make everyone else go to the bathroom for six of the
Starting point is 00:23:19 eight hours a day and there's nothing they could do about it nothing at all except post on quora about how it's wrong what do you think the rule was no hamburgers like what is that is a good question is it was maybe it's a vegan it's a vegan job it's a doing veganism job like the job is you don't eat the hamburger yeah like maybe like we're laughing at like what a dumb idiot maybe the job was like save the cows corp i'm assuming this is a parody post and also haha big laughs big laughs from us over here big laughs on core raiders you got a funny post but at the same time what is this a parody of is it is it how woke offices are now that hey i fired a guy for eating a hamburger
Starting point is 00:24:07 because of how woke I am or is it like based communism posting where it's like sometimes the boss would fire you even for something cool like hamburger you know those based communist posts we all see
Starting point is 00:24:23 sometimes the boss will fire you they got the laser eyes but yeah I don't think this is real but it is worth exploring ristita de jesus says it boggles my mind that people write up i think that's a real name too yeah why not she's a martial artist yeah excuse me ristita de jesus i like this it boggles my mind that people write up these ridiculous troll questions
Starting point is 00:24:50 yeah cool oh i thought you're gonna read more of it okay oh i don't know then she just answers the question well yeah so are they within their rights um she says uh if you actually fire someone i would like to know what you would have preferred your employee to eat while under their your team floy mignon lobster instant ramen canned soup yeah your problem was you weren't eating canned soup yeah dude you gotta be eating canned soup at work yeah um i don't know what else is there to say about this uh they're probably lying i want to know what the rule is yes uh you're um a nazi according to alexandra engel which you know maybe is true is a real glass houses situation alexandra engel uh alexandra i think it's hitler says i always wonder what kind of uh jerk a little
Starting point is 00:25:48 power can turn someone into you know how did the nazis convince so many people to do cruel and absurd things to other people that is something that always uh peeves me is how quickly everyone's first comparison is nazis just because i feel like it creates like public illiteracy of any situation yeah it is interesting to be like well we all know what the nazis did they didn't let people eat hamburgers they pretty much would fire you for hamburger that was how they asked the big kind of thing that they wore a black hat with a skull on it and you were not allowed to have hamburgers at lunch. They killed six million Jews
Starting point is 00:26:26 because they all tried to eat hamburgers at lunch. Back then, Jews were nuts for hamburgers. It's kind of hard to understand from a modernist perspective. Honestly, a little weird on their part. But hey, me too. What? I love hamburgers. You have a good hamburger?
Starting point is 00:26:42 I love a good hamburger. You're fired. Get the fuck out of here. No, my boss! Get the fuck out of your living room. No! We're in a business relationship now. Yeah, now that I've actually kind of experienced it from the other side, it is pretty jarring.
Starting point is 00:26:57 Okay, well, I don't know what that was all about, but it's over now. Would you mind if we took a one-second break? Because I would love to grab some water. Yes, please do. All right, we're back. And we're back. That brings us to our next segment. We haven't done this one in a while.
Starting point is 00:27:16 And it's one of the more tantalizing segments. This is, of course, the quiz course. This is our politics corner. Finally, Alex Patak discusses politics on a podcast. America decides. This is where we tackle some of our hardest-hitting questions. Now, I know some stuff gets thrown in here as kind of a joke. Like, isn't this political?
Starting point is 00:27:42 Should, you know, should boys wear deodorant or something like that? How dare you? There are some serious opinions out there on Quora that don't see the light of day. Yeah. And this one approaches geopolitics. I don't think this one's funny. No, it's not really funny per se.
Starting point is 00:28:01 It's just important. Yeah, so, well, it's like a question you don't hear a lot. So here's the question. If Europe is such a great country, how do Europeans explain how America's GDP is three times higher than Europe's GDP? What do Europeans have to say for themselves? Now, this is good mostly because of that last question at the end there.
Starting point is 00:28:25 I don't really understand. You don't like the first part? First of all, I don't know. If Europe is such a great country? If Europe is such a great country is also good. I don't know if America's GDP is three times higher than Europe's GDP. It is the kind of thing where it's like you could tell me either way and I would probably believe you. but uh what do they have to say that for themselves is what i want to know u.s gdp 23.32 trillion
Starting point is 00:28:51 can you do europe gdp i don't know is that a thing that comes up i don't know well let us 17 trillion billion trillion and what was america's 23 trillion all right so it's not three times higher usa usa usa hit that button your continent was destroyed while ours remained intact we are powerful which means we're good and it means we're good we're the eagle that don't don't pet the eagle it has razor sharp claws what do europeans have to say for themselves if that's such a great country and the the fun thing about it and this is right material to cover on a comedy podcast is that you ask like germans like what they have to say for themselves and i was like oh shiza you know stuff like that they say all these funny things they have a word for uh what
Starting point is 00:29:42 it feels like to discover that europe has a third yeah they have a third of the gdp you don't really feel a gdp on a day-to-day level the way you should no uh you can feel overall standards of living yeah yeah you can like you are gonna drink water from my sink right now cheers yeah this is what we planned off mic i was like and then you drink the water uh and then like that won't poison you so that's pretty good but like you don't really like appreciate that it depends on where you live because uh a lot of water in our country does poison you oh yeah i mean if you live in like flint michigan or water was a bad example i guess but you know just i don't know there's plumbing uh but what do europeans have to say for themselves that it's such a great country
Starting point is 00:30:33 yeah i imagine this is full of salty europeans which i would love to get into and that doesn't include the uk because they didn't they brexited yeah not included uh firstly i'd say buy yourself a dictionary and look up the definition of country oh my god dude i gotta log up oh my god he got fucking roasted i'm looking up the word country and i'm crying i'm literally crying i'm crying second i would say buy yourself an atlas and look up the continent of europe you got fucked idiot uh so if you wrote this question do you think you read the third one after you go to the store and buy two books uh yeah thirdly i would say buy yourself a calculator and redo your sums you gotta go to a different store fourthly oh my god you can't do four you
Starting point is 00:31:25 You can't do four. It's rule of threes. Fourthly, I'd say go back to your dictionary. This is a terrible rule of four. Fourthly. Fourth rule. Look up the definition of idiot and compare with the nearest mirror. Damn, dude.
Starting point is 00:31:38 I'm sorry. You have to upcore that. That's pretty fucking good. That's one of the best clapbacks I've ever done. That's from Colin Ramsey. His photo is of a little. Is it E.T. with a wig on? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:49 I thought it was a Planet of the Ape. Oh, it's not. It's E.T. with wig on. Let's go back to the other answers on the question, please. Yes, sorry. Europe has a lot of different people, and it's not just British people. As a matter of fact, none of them are British people because Britain is not part of Europe.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Nope, doesn't count. Hey, American here. Oh, jeez. Europe is not a country, which makes your question immediately look ignorant. Well, that's embarrassing. This guy is also listing points. The second one starts with secondly. Secondly.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Everyone's just throwing fingers up at this guy. Buy yourself a dictionary and look up dumb face in it and then look at your face and see if it looks the same. Then take a selfie and compare that. Then call up the police and tell them to arrest you and then bring out another dictionary and put criminal in there. All right. So mostly what Europeans have to say for themselves is just like long condescending. Yeah. Which I think is why their GDP is so much lower than ours.
Starting point is 00:32:51 Yeah, because they spend too much time on their listicles. Yeah, they're constantly telling me what to do and ordered lists. Although, again, lots of British people in this. This is just all British people being like, as an European, you're not. You're not one. You left. You're not part of the continent. You left.
Starting point is 00:33:06 You're a rogue island, alone adrift in the Atlantic. You're nobody. You're across the bloody channel, mate. All alone. You're saying it in a British accent? Yeah, that's fun. only accents i could do what's your best accent don't make me choose of all my great probably just meat wad uh well yeah that was great we love me we love meat wad here folks too bad it will
Starting point is 00:33:37 never come up again number one europe is a continent not a country number two interestingly the life expectancy in the eu is much higher than the life expectancy in the usa okay see that's like a that is a response to the question yeah besides pointing out that everything in it is wrong and that the question doesn't make sense i think that no one it's everyone is literally every post is just saying europe is not a country and then a list of other basic uh misstatements um then he says america is also not a country it's a continent not really either people call the united states america also america is not a continent it's i mean there's two continents that have America in the name. Now we're just
Starting point is 00:34:17 doing what they're doing to their answers. Number three, get a dictionary. Look up Jeremy in it. And guess what? I owned you. Look up Jeremy in it. Then consult a mirror. See if you're Jeremy. See if you're Jeremy. If you're so smart. Europe is not a country.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Europe is not a country is what they have to say. That's what they have to say. This is from Austin Mullins. This is Canada in real time dot quora dot com. Okay. If I want to drive to Alaska, but I'm not allowed in Canada because of my felony what can i do it is my constitutional right to visit a state in my country i cannot afford to fly okay boat boat get a boat where are they leaving from i imagine washington
Starting point is 00:35:00 because the thing about alaska is it's really really big like it's like it's a big disproportionately big it's the biggest one they because here's the thing about alaska if you're looking at a map and it's just the united states is it gets a little circle yeah it's like the size of delaware it's like a family circus style circle that's featuring alaska but alaska is like the size of a third of america yeah and no one lives up there no it's all bears and ice floes and pedophiles mostly is that true who had to leave yeah a lot of a lot of sex criminals move up there really yeah because um no one lives up there that's why and then you could just go i think in their mind they're like you know what clean start alaska right but then
Starting point is 00:35:47 they get there and it's like there's no children tommy slippery fingers you're here too but i mean they have a thriving pedophile community yeah they have boggle night where they spell the most forbidden words imaginable uh but that said it is probably if you can't afford to fly it is a boat and you're gonna get a lot of this in the comments it's not your right to visit alaska certainly isn't no one's ever said that is your right that's not in a document anywhere that you have to go on mecca to alaska you have so few rights what's the word mecca to alaska is very funny if you are a pedophile it is your mecca i've i've used the word wrong what
Starting point is 00:36:34 the hodge you have to go on the hodge i don't know who knows we'll have to ask our new co-host muslim jeremy who will be here next week to answer my questions about how i did the joke wrong uh but in the meantime let's see what all the mean war everyone's favorite new character muslim jeremy you want to go out for drinks after this i'll see you later i'm muslim jeremy bow bow bow uh muslim jeremy that's the guy who comes in at the end of the muslim jeremy song yeah i like it um you might have a constitutional right to visit in uh stay in your country but you have no right to expect canada to facilitate those rights who gives it canada doesn't give a fish's left elbow
Starting point is 00:37:25 Oh, that's in the answer. I forgot. We never thought about what his felony is. We can assume it's because of what I said before. So, I mean, I guess it could be murder. Yeah. If you're not allowed on a plane, it must be something like you. So you got out of jail then.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Yeah. Wait, is there a rule? You can't go on a plane if you have a felony. You're not on a plane if you're on a no fly list. So you're either wanted for terrorism. I cannot afford to fly. Oh, right, right, right, right. But I'm not allowed in Canada because of my felonies.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Yes. I don't know what that back and forth is. My assumption is that he has been charged of a crime in Canada. He's stealing maple syrup. He escaped to New Jersey. And he's like, I want to go to fucking Alaska. It's my right as an American, which I am. I don't want to do it.
Starting point is 00:38:17 A, I'm a fucking Alaskan or American. Notice the minute we decide he's criminal, he starts cursing. that's character acting. That's the, uh, everyone knows if you're a good actor, your character has a secret that only, you know,
Starting point is 00:38:33 about and ours is that I stole maple syrup. Okay. What's another one? Han says, so how do you manage to drive to Hawaii or Puerto Rico? Okay. Now they're dabbing on him. Is that what we do here?
Starting point is 00:38:47 When someone's looking for help? Um, and the answer is just get a fucking boat, dude. Yeah. The answer is obviously get a boat. Does no one say boat? No.
Starting point is 00:38:55 One person said there's a ferry. I bet the water's like really choppy on the way up there. Ooh, this one is Quora Plus. Quora Plus. Okay. No, you have to subscribe to Canada. Canada in real time. For 83 cents a month.
Starting point is 00:39:10 What is this weird subscription system Quora has? Should we get Quora Plus now that we have a Patreon? But what do we get in return? You know what I mean? We get this lovely answer. But you subscribe per community? Like, that's going to add up, man. There's going to be a lot of money we're spending on Canada in real time.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Okay, here's what we get. Number one, clever questions and honest answers about Canada, Canadian cities, Canadian politics, Canadian culture, Canadian provinces, Canadian territories. Okay. Number two, pros and cons of Canadian cities. Number three, questions, answers, and tips about immigration to Canada. Number four, popular Canadians worldwide. Popular Canadians worldwide.
Starting point is 00:39:49 You get that for 83 cents a month. Canada in the news. Oh, look, Drake. I'm glad I subscribed. Here's a photo of everyone's favorite Canadian worldwide, Drake. I'm thinking of a second one. Justin Bieber. Alanis Morissette.
Starting point is 00:40:06 Seth Rogen. There he is. Is Seth Rogen Canadian? Hell yeah, dude. You know that? He seems as American as apple pie. Well, he's not. He's a liar.
Starting point is 00:40:15 What the hell? He's infiltrated our culture. I knew he looked too healthy. Him and Jay Burchell, I think, are both Canadians. Anyway, yeah, the community-by-community subscription here, it discourages me from doing it. Get on an aircraft or boat. Okay, boat. Boat.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Get a boat. Get a rowboat. Get in a boat. Something about being on Quora has made me way more boat-focused in my life. Get on girl ship from one of the other episodes. Captain your boat, put away your stowaways, and report them to the captain. Yeah, you could stow away on a boat. That's a good idea.
Starting point is 00:40:54 Yeah, you don't need any money for that. That's actually usually why people stow away. Yeah, to escape to your pedophile community. That is the number one reason to stow away. It's the number one reason, and it's sad. And if you're listening from Alaska, we don't mean you. We're talking about everyone else in Alaska. Why do you think it's nighttime for half the year in Alaska?
Starting point is 00:41:15 It's to hide the pedophiles. To punish them for their crimes. You ever see Grizzly Man? Who knows what that guy was up to? I think he was mostly up to bothering bears from what I've seen on footage. He got eaten by a bear. He got eaten by a bear, the most predictable turn of events of all time. That movie rules.
Starting point is 00:41:36 I've seen it hundreds of times. Have you really? Yeah, it's so good. It's so good. It's so good. My favorite part is at the end. The whole movie is the guy being like, bears love me. That's right.
Starting point is 00:41:46 Hey, it's Bandit. I'm going to tickle you. I'm going to tickle you, Bandit. You're just like, don't. It's all that. And then halfway through, it takes a turn where the guy's like recording. So he's like, I should be famous. Why am I not so much more famous than I am?
Starting point is 00:41:58 I'm the coolest, most, most interesting man in the whole goddamn planet. And I love bears. And then at the end of the movie is Werner Herzog being like, I watched the footage of the bear eating the man and they were not friends. They swiped his head off. And they had sex with his neck wound. He says, I see no kinship when I look into the eyes of the bear. he's straight spitting facts though there because good movie it turns out that bear it was not a fan no he ate that guy and his girlfriend timothy treadwell his poor girlfriend
Starting point is 00:42:31 she just tried to save him from the bear which you know in retrospect did you guys go that's a red flag girl you gotta dump that guy if you're a man if your man is bothering bears until he is being killed by a rogue bear it's time for a new man do not attempt to save him using a cast iron pan it will not work no that's our big advice for the ladies there will be horrifying audio recordings that Werner Herzog can listen to and cry yeah watch grizzly man yeah check it out I would love to have Werner on the podcast sponsored the show this week the 2003 film grizzly man um okay let's go to this next question if texas finally decides it's time to succeed as they must how will we keep uh how will we keep californians from trying to cross illegally into texas as they
Starting point is 00:43:23 certainly will i love the frazier style of speaking thrust into this um okay so texas has to succeed which is clearly a disaster that's not the question well yeah i'm saying like they're brexiting once that happens yeah californians are gonna we gotta go to fucking texas as they certainly will dying to go to texas because of all the crime in california yeah everywhere but texas actually is overrun with crime and then when there's a crime in texas it's because all the californians got in all the californians getting together and being like listen buddy i know we have to pretend to have progressive come on man if i can't rap rock i gotta steal uh so how do you keep californians from getting out it's a question what's the salt circle for
Starting point is 00:44:12 um first of all big wall right oh yeah california well no because they love they love bouldering they do love bouldering is the thing and a wall what is a wall but a boulder to climb on if not a big boulder um so wall is it's a fine first level option try keeping alex honnold out of your state with a big wall you idiot have you seen those freaking sausage finger he got he can climb right into those things he'll climb it you can't keep them out of your state you can find the organic wedges and get over you will um aside from a wall aside from a wall uh you can put a hamburger on top yeah dude put some hamburgers around they're gonna be like uh-oh i'm vegan I'm triggered, and I'm falling off the wall.
Starting point is 00:45:00 Let's see. Let's see. Yeah, I guess the main thing you want to do is just trigger them. You want to have, like, a big footage of, I don't know, Bill O'Reilly or something. And when we say Californians, we mean only people from San Francisco and not the tech people. And not the tech people. So really just middle class San Francisco and L.A. residents. People from the San Francisco in 1970, mostly.
Starting point is 00:45:24 not like new ones and then also uh los angeles anyone with they they were going out for a part in avatar so their hair is blue yeah because they thought that would help them land the role and they might they haven't seen the film but they know like somebody's blue in it and they're like the only people i know who genuinely have moved from california to texas are like right-wing comedians well yeah because they're trying to get in before the secession because they don't want to get stuck on that wall that triggers you joe rogan doesn't want to get triggered they got him and tim dillon yeah they got all kinds of uh triggering things on that wall so the answer is a trigger wall is our answer um okay what's the answer on quora
Starting point is 00:46:04 uh seceding from the union is illegal oh my god shut up oh it's illegal do you think they care about that in texas where they like things so big they like big stuff like a chili that'll burn your tongue put that on the wall put that on the wall uh get in the top see if you could put your tongue on it geography isn't your strong suit california doesn't share a border with texas yeah but californians would still they'd have to get into texas they would have to because of all the crime because of all the crime in california they can't escape okay secession would destroy texas oh the economy that's our globalist economy shut up shut the fuck up we make one thing now and that's a gun texas does things a little bit differently we make black rifle coffee
Starting point is 00:46:56 and black rifle and we scoop we scoop the coffee up with our rifle spoons we make he him chocolate bars but they're against being woke everyone's so lean from the protein deficiency my big question about that because so for those who don't know the guy who made black rifle coffee is this guy named jeremy no relation he created a taco bar brand where it's like there's the he him ones have nuts and the she her ones don't they don't have no and this is supposed to be some sort of uh it's like a joke uh based anti-woke chocolate right yeah but if you're gonna actually put gender onto your chocolate bars which again hershey never did no chocolate bars generally are just chocolate bars they're not gender they don't have gender from what i've seen even the ones that
Starting point is 00:47:44 they're complaining about yeah so if i as a man eat the the nuts chocolate bar does that make me gay yeah it does for sure makes you actually gay which is too bad because i i mean i mean it's not really bad but i i'm gonna go whole hogging for those nuts i'm crazy about nuts anyway i'm pretty much like squirrel mode over here well now you're unfortunately gay on pause but i'm going all in for the he him chocolate bar well i have bad news for you because the chocolate bar that those nuts are testicles yeah no i get it i'm just saying testicles if it's a chocolate bar with nuts in it or with no nuts in it i am every time getting the nuts one yeah yeah boom baby triggered liberals all right so this post we're reading has like eight more paragraphs is there any is there any
Starting point is 00:48:37 part we didn't cover no i don't care and then okay all right i guess we're just sticking with trigger wall then huh this guy says build a wall of course okay that's what we said um this is a Dumb question, but I'm bored. Come on. Phase one, just deploy light infantry along the new Texas-California border. Here we go. With phasing appropriate to terrain. I don't know how long that border actually is,
Starting point is 00:49:01 so I'm not sure how many companies it would take. There isn't one. But there are manuals for that sort of thing. Phase two, set up trenching and wire. Set it up in Arizona. Phase three, have the engineers start pouring bunkers and laying in mines. Install MGs with overlapping fields of fire in the bunkers. Phase four, set up pre-dug mortar pits with pointer lines
Starting point is 00:49:21 for the most likely directions of fire, along with the artillery positions further back. Also reinforce the trench works with cement and lay out whatever anti-vehicle defenses may be necessary depending on terrain. This is getting expensive very quickly, by the way. Well, Californians are going to want to pay. This is like a nonstop field of fire is your only answer?
Starting point is 00:49:41 How much does a trigger wall cost? Very little money. I mean, you just got to pay for the chili on the top once you get the wall up. The chili. That's too hot for Californians. Right, right, right. Because they can't handle it.
Starting point is 00:49:52 They can't handle the super hot chili. They think it's too spicy. Phase five. Controlled entry points. Did I skip one? No, no. Page four was the mortar pits. Did we say phase three?
Starting point is 00:50:07 Phase three. Have engineers start pouring bunkers and laying in mines. Oh, yeah, we said that one. Phase five. Open up a small number of controlled entry points. Anyone crossing, not a CDP. We need to make sure we didn't miss a moment of this. Phase six, dig some dens to make it easier on the coyotes
Starting point is 00:50:23 who move in and out to eat the bodies. Okay. So wait, I have to dig dens as part of my order? Yeah, for the coyotes who move in to eat the bodies. If you're serious about keeping a border closed, that's the way to do it. That's what it says. This is from Murphy Barrett.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Yo, big thumbs up for Murphy Barrett on filling us in on that because nobody else had any good answers. I think the trigger wall makes more sense. It makes more sense, but we're coming at it from a civilian angle. We don't have the military background to really know what makes a good border wall.
Starting point is 00:51:01 We just know if you make a wall and you put phrases on it like, you know, Donald Trump is cool. Yeah. Then they will be too scared to go. White man inside, stuff like that. Well, did you just pass the mirror test? Yeah, my cats look at the mirrors all the time and identify things in them.
Starting point is 00:51:21 That's crazy. Yeah. I don't think cats are usually able to do that. No, it's kind of unnerving, but the thing is, I don't think we give cats the credits that they deserve for much of their accomplishments. Yeah, like what? I don't know, the mirror test.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Okay, fair enough. What else do they do? They don't do a lot. waffles produces our podcast he's asleep right now but when have you ever been on the podcast i think it's pretty clear producers asleep at the wheel i've lost my voice i what i feel like we've done three questions uh let's do uh we got time for let's do two more quinceltown let's do Quinsletown, okay. We don't have a song for that, do we?
Starting point is 00:52:03 I have to have it downloaded. This is Quinsletown. Hooray for Quinsletown. Our Hollywood segment where we talk about the stars, the glitz and glamour of the moving pictures. Who knows what questions are being asked on Quora about celebrities on the top of the charts. They're called movies because they're pictures that move.
Starting point is 00:52:30 and they make your heart move now let's get into this this first one um is not a celebrity that jeremy or i know a lot about but i thought it was a very interesting question which is why can't laura ingram close her mouth fully parentheses her teeth are always showing laura ingram i looked this up as a fox news host yeah and it's really interesting the the the benefits of like the the the things that you want in a host you want all teeth yeah you want too much teeth yeah i mean how many unless you have like a a tough tucker carlson kind of attitude and i don't think women are often allowed to do this you like so like unless you're like always scowling you want somebody who's got a great big smile and that means they're disincentivized from closing their
Starting point is 00:53:19 mouths so you're saying that women should smile more basically i'm i'm saying that i'm against it and I think they should frown? That's your big message to the Fox News women? Well, I don't think they should frown. Wait, hold on. I got this. But that if they needed to frown, it would be okay with me as an ally.
Starting point is 00:53:42 But that they're always smiling like they got a gun to their head by society and not me. Anyway, so why can't Laura Ingraham close her mouth fully? because there's a bomb in there she's got like the poison pill in her tooth and she's afraid to click it do you ever think about that what you know how spies in uh yeah the 20th century would always have the cyanide pill and they're like it's hidden in the tooth first of all how do you fucking carve out a tooth to put a pill in it that sounds like the most painful surgery of all time yeah just for a fucking pill that kills you i imagine wrong they rip your tooth out and then put in
Starting point is 00:54:22 like a little plastic thing because if it's like a normal tooth that's way more painful also i feel like i would immediately bite down on it by accident yeah that's what i'm saying almost in seconds oh steak night oh good i'll definitely enjoy this without paralyzing fear the entire time oh you got a piece of fat in your steak now you're dead i bet at least a few people killed themselves by accident with those oh yeah yeah well you know what we have patreon now a thousand patrons we will try doing an episode of this podcast with cyanide pills in our mouths wow that's a low number for that promise we'll put that on patreon goals a thing that no longer exists and uh you know as long as it goes up there i'm sure it's either that or we
Starting point is 00:55:09 try to summon a demon and we know which one alex is gonna let us do we draw a fucking pentagram on the floor i guess i'd rather have the cyanide capsule i believe it my eternal soul i want to summon a demon so badly this is self-destruction and then we can have our friend like do the voice of the demon yeah no we won't have to have our friend do the voice of the demon because you will have invited bahamut yeah and it definitely isn't max ogle do in the voice. Bomb, it sounds familiar. Okay, so
Starting point is 00:55:45 what are the answers we're getting? Wendy Cummings says, Laura Ingram, please close your lips when you finish speaking. You are so beautiful, but this look is not becoming. If you believe it looks pouty and sultry or something, it doesn't. We are telling you this out of love.
Starting point is 00:56:02 You're far too attractive to look so ridiculous. Damn, Wendy. Do you know what she looks like? Because I don't offhand. I think she's probably blonde is my guess. Yeah, well, she works for fox news so you know she's blonde yeah um i i think she's like kind of a little all i mean there's like a kind of person that they have on that network that looks very much like a doll that was like brought to life in a cruel display of uh yeah to do science yeah laura ingram says minorities are losing a lot in biden's america thanks lauren lauren laura stop speaking truth
Starting point is 00:56:37 to power although worth noting that her mouth is closed in half of these pictures yeah so it's kind of a low blow isn't it but the question is better or worse are minorities doing better or worse no does she look better or worse with her mouth oh with her mouth closed she looks worse i see why she keeps them open all the time she has a great smile she's got a beautiful set of teeth yeah her teeth look incredibly fake and now i'm looking at other parts of her body and now i'm getting nervous stop looking at laura stop stop man male gazing laura it's not the kind of show she's trying to tell you facts about criminals and minorities that are so gross all i want to do is say that minorities were are better off under trump that's
Starting point is 00:57:26 And men are stopping me. Okay. Any other answers? So is there anybody here who doesn't like Laura Ingraham in the chat? Mary Kay says, I was wondering about her mouth also. She cannot close her lips when she is not speaking. It's so weird. Also wondering about Laura's mouth.
Starting point is 00:57:43 It looks like she has a fish mouth. I wonder if she realizes this. Someone needs to tell her to close her lips. That's so cruel sounding. Why don't you close your lips, Laura? Somebody needs to tell Laura to close her fucking fish lips. Unrelated to some of the terrible things you say, you have a fish mouth. We all love your speech.
Starting point is 00:58:05 No one is against the words you're saying. You have all the right ideas. When you say. Okay. Yeah, so it seems like mostly everybody's on her side here. None of these answers are really covering it, really. Let me look under answers. I don't like that it does that where it shows like related.
Starting point is 00:58:25 Yeah. You keep saying, I was wondering the same thing. I think she's beautiful and has a beautiful smile. I'm thinking that she can't. So, he's on her left side. A lot of Cora. I still watch everything night that I am up. Still watch every night that I am up.
Starting point is 00:58:37 It says still watch everything night that I am up. It has a typo, Jeremy. Come on. The thing about Cora is that there are so many. I'm so sorry for making Judy Curtin Howard look bad. Trump 2020 photo. Yeah. on Judy Curtin Howard.
Starting point is 00:58:54 Yeah, so Cora in general, very pro-Laura Ingram. Yeah. Well, Peter says, I could say something here, but we all know she has Trump's star, star, star in her mouth and can't seem to close it. Funny, she should be able to do both. Nudge, nudge,
Starting point is 00:59:10 wink, wink, LOL. What? Wait. Okay. What's up? So she has... She can't close her mouth. she's got trump's ween i think she has w-e-e-n her mouth is full of trump's ween and she can't close it but she could she could close it she could do both nudge nudge wink wink
Starting point is 00:59:34 nudge nudge wink wink what are we winking and nudging about i guess is my nudge nudge wink i don't think we're all in we all know what this means i think laura ingram should bite off Trump's cock I think he's saying that she can talk at the same time that's like a like a puppet joke
Starting point is 00:59:55 I don't know I don't know I don't know what we're talking about I like this one Angela Stockton says well a snake does bear its fangs
Starting point is 01:00:04 before striking killing spree meow meow snake meow alright we got one more celebrity news here
Starting point is 01:00:13 let's move on one person just has a bunch of photos with her mouth closed. They're owning the question asker. Ryan Yates sent this one in. This is lifeandlessons.quora.com. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:00:26 Why does Elon Musk never give up? He never gives up. And there's no answers on this. Oh, wait. Here's the thing is there's a parent question and you can go to the parent question. And this is the parent question is what inspires Elon Musk to never give up.
Starting point is 01:00:43 With the base theorem, Elon Musk, he never gives up. How does he do it? He's got 10% energy, 15% skill, 20% actuated power of will. He's got 15% horses, 40% emeralds, etc. Does he have horses? Is that the thing about Elon Musk? Yeah, he gave a horse to a woman.
Starting point is 01:01:06 He offered her a horse on account of he sexually harassed her. While sexually harassing her. He said, hey, you don't talk about this, I'll give you a horse. A horse. A horse, a horse, a kingdom for my horse. You know what? And the sad part about it is that is a good example of him not giving up. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:26 Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, yeah. That's harassment. Sometimes not giving up is harassment. Yeah, literally. Okay. When it's hard for him to never give up, I would say it would be like never hearing the word no. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:39 I would say it's wanting desperately to have more children. Yeah. That's what inspires him to never give up asking his employees to have sex with him. He's very birth rates focused. And he has like 10 kids or something, doesn't he? A few of them have disowned him. Yeah. But you can do that when you have 10 of them.
Starting point is 01:02:00 It's like wild west logic. He's like a king. Yeah. He's like a pioneer. He tweeted the other day where someone was like, the world sucks. And he was like, I think it's pretty good. I think it's based. Yeah, I bet you do think it's pretty based.
Starting point is 01:02:13 Here's a Pepe I found. That's a pretty good Elon voice. It inspires me to never give up. My Elon gets very German very quickly. I mean, yeah. His accent is uncanny. It's very strange. It's not the go-to South Africa accent.
Starting point is 01:02:30 It's like a little bit. It's international. Do you think he made it up to sound different? He sounds like a Bond villain. No, I think he just organically, like, is a Bond film. Yeah, that's fair. And it reflects his lived experience, is that? Not very epic, Mr. Bond.
Starting point is 01:02:48 You seem to have become cringe. Well, it appears that you're about to lose your epic bacon. There's a laser going up towards his neck. The answers are Mark Twain quotes, I'm seeing is a lot of them. Yeah, the most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why. What you need to know about the answers on this, Quora, is that none of them are sarcastic. They are all important responses to how Elon Musk never gives up. Yeah, I mean, people think he's a great guy who, you know, bought a bunch of companies and said that he started them.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Yeah. So that's pretty impressive. He never gave up starting those companies, even when he didn't do it. There's this one guy who's just anti-persevering. Yeah, he says, bullshit, everyone gives up from time to time. Elon Musk will be giving up on Twitter when it goes bankrupt. And bet your ass it isn't the first time he's quit on something. He is just a human.
Starting point is 01:03:49 Besides that, never quitting is a mark of stupidity or insanity. So there you go. There you go. Wrong. Everyone quits. Wrong. Elon Musk has quit. But you know what?
Starting point is 01:04:00 That just makes him better. That makes him better. he's more human for it he it's why he's so based oh you want i'm seeing a lot of uh casual suit jackets in this thread yeah i mean that's he is a businessman you know what's fun about all the elon musk questions on the internet is somebody will then provide their own like homemade biography sure with very little prompting Elon Musk was a young boy born in Canada, and he loves to make cars with his friends. He was born in Canada?
Starting point is 01:04:33 No, he was born in South Africa, and he moved to Canada. Oh, he moved to Canada? I'm learning things all the time. Maybe that's why he never gives up. He didn't like being born in South Africa. Did he give up then? No. No.
Starting point is 01:04:47 His parents moved to Canada. He hated his dad, apparently. That's a big thing people always say when they're like, Elon's not that bad. He hates his dad. He has trauma from his dad being mean. People will be like, oh, his dad owns an emerald mine. They're like, Elon didn't like his dad, though. It's like, oh, okay, well, then never mind.
Starting point is 01:05:04 Yeah, that's totally fair. I take it all back. He'd always take the boys' wrists he chopped off at the mine and put them in his room. And Elon said, no, thank you. And then it's weird that his parents are also on Twitter. Yeah, that is odd. I don't want to find out about that. Errol Musk, is that one of them?
Starting point is 01:05:21 I don't want to find out about Errol Musk. I think that's his mom or his dad. I don't know which one. The thing about Errol is that could be a name of any person. So could Elon. What the fuck is that name? They all need to go back to the name factory. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Get back there. Let us know if you can come up with a normal-ass name like Joe Musk. Jeremy Musk. That would be good. The week after we have Muslim Jeremy, we will be premiering Jeremy Musk. It's going to be great. Our calendar is full. Do not apply for new Jeremy's.
Starting point is 01:05:51 all right let's let's ask a quora because i've lost my voice i think yeah it's probably for the best let's do a quora for us um do a musk one i was thinking of a sleepy time core okay what is the best way to have sweet dreams that's a great question thank you don't change any of the words i said it perfectly what is the best way to have sweet dreams um we found similar answers how can i have sweet dreams while i sleep that's a different question i also like that all of these related ones are like no answers no one liked this it doesn't matter you didn't tag anybody oh i never tag people with it oh really yeah so even when we knock it out of the park they're just yeah just randos okay well i'm sure we'll i'm sure we can tag somebody we'll find
Starting point is 01:06:44 I don't know. Who do you want to tag? Kamara Nando, if you can find him. You can't see. It's just the top suggested guy. Okay, that's the only one, actually. I only wanted to tag Kamara. Okay, well, next week we're going to find out how to get Sweet Dreams. Thank you for listening in to another hit episode of Quarators. We're here. We're reading Quarers.
