Raging Moderates with Scott Galloway and Jessica Tarlov - The Most UNHINGED Thing Trump Has Said About the Iran War Yet
Episode Date: October 6, 2026Get your copy of I Disagree — the new book by Jessica Tarlov! Scott Galloway and Jessica Tarlov open Tuesday with Trump's Nebraska rally — where the president made shocking comments about the Ira...n war that immediately drew national attention and outrage. Trump also mentioned one of his favorite topics — our own Jessica Tarlov. At the same event, Trump unveiled a new executive order aimed at lowering diesel prices. Will this be enough to sway farmers and other Republicans hit hard by soaring diesel prices — or does it fall short of what the inflation-frustrated base actually needs? Trump's MAGA Inc. Super PAC has now agreed to pay for the repurposed Trump campaign ads that have been airing nationwide, which had been marked as paid for with taxpayer money — more than $10 million worth of ads on cable and network TV since September. Is this a rare admission of defeat, or damage control? The main Democratic Senate Super PAC has been ramping up Epstein-related attack ads, with AdImpact counting 69 Epstein ads this cycle worth more than $36.6 million. New polling shows 44% of voters see Epstein as a serious campaign issue. Scott and Jess debate whether this is a smart closing-month strategy or a risky one for Democrats. The Cornell Seven case is now sparking protests on campus. Thousands of students and faculty rallied at Cornell last night in response to the lawsuit over the school's handling of a 2024 sexual assault allegation. Attendees marched to university president Michael Kotlikoff's office, demanding his resignation and a ban on fraternities. Is this fundamentally a university management issue, a criminal justice issue — or both? And finally: a measles outbreak is spreading across the Northeast. Pennsylvania has surpassed one thousand cases this year, and New York has declared a state of emergency, expanding vaccine access as health officials scramble to contain the spread. How serious is this — and what does it say about the public health infrastructure under RFK? Welcome Raging Moderns. I'm Scott Galloway.
And I'm Jessica Tarliff.
Jess, you do know where you are?
You know, I did wake up this morning and ask myself that question.
I am in Bruin Woods, and the lighting here makes it feel like at any moment we could see,
you know, all work and play makes Scott a very dull boy and see Jelly Duval, you know, running with Jack Nicholson with an axe.
Red Rum, baby.
There's definitely a shining feel to all of this.
But before we get started, make sure to subscribe.
to stay up to date and support our show.
Okay, let's bust into it.
Campanying in Nebraska last night,
President Trump spoke about the war in Iran, saying,
It's a small price to pay for keeping the world safe,
keeping our country safe.
They can take out a city.
Let them take out Los Angeles.
Let them take out San Diego.
That's, this is a very small price to pay,
and it's going to be over with it.
It's essentially almost over with.
The comments drew immediate criticism from Governor Newsom
and other California leaders.
At the event, he also unveiled a newly signed executive order
meant to tame rising diesel prices.
The plan directs the IRS not to impose penalties
when died diesel is sold for or used on highways
and directs the Treasury Secretary to defer certain excise tax payments
with the relief running through the end of 2026.
Here's Trump at that rally, speaking about our very own Jessica Tarlov.
Let's watch.
Why are they putting these people on our television networks?
Why?
They always have to put Jessica Tarloff, another loser.
They put, they put, no, they put these voices on.
I think it's really bad.
I think there's no reason to do it.
It's not better entertainment.
You know, they say they like to project both sides,
but the other side doesn't project both sides.
They never have any of us on television.
So I think they should stop doing it.
Actually, at this point, I think the shining would be fun.
more fun, or less weird.
So let me just call out the elephant in the room.
He has a tendency to obsess over young attractive journalists.
He's not calling out Anderson Cooper.
You know, he's not calling out Jake Tapper,
who are more critical and more present than you.
He seems to have, it's like when grandpa kisses his granddaughter,
little too long. It is so weird and so uncomfortable, everything you would expect in terms of how
a world leader acquits himself, not only for his own dignity, but to represent the nation's interests.
We've never, I can't think of the last time. Let me think. Never. We've had someone who is such a
social misfit.
I'm not talking about
critic, okay, he's been criticizing the media,
fine. But there's
something, this guy
literally is going to go down as
President Ick. This is a
badge of honor for you.
This is, this is
the fact that the president,
who's supposed to be the most powerful
man in the world, that you're
living Renfrey in his head
means you're absolutely doing
something right. And also, by
way. I'd be shocked if your book sales don't skyrocket today. I disagree with Jessica Tarloff.
Jess, any thoughts? Well, that would be nice. Two, why is this man not busier?
Like, every time, and this is his third time in a week that he has said something about me.
And he's so angry that I sit on a show where it's one versus four. And it's not as if I hog other people's
talk time. I'm very respectful of other people's talk time. Jesse Waters is working on it,
allegedly, of being respectful of my talk time. The thinnest of skin, so pathetic. What I get hails in
comparison to what Caitlin Collins gets and have enormous admiration for her ability to do that job.
Oh, Caitlin Collins, shocker, another young, attractive woman. Way younger than me. And better hair. Yeah.
I know I do see a pattern. It also makes all of the accusations of inappropriate behavior from him seem completely feasible. You know, when he's like, oh, no, I wouldn't do something like that. I'm like, dude, this is how you talk. Like, I don't, you know, things that haven't been adjudicated. I'm not trying to get sued. None of that. I'm just saying this guy is fucked up. And you can see also he's at a rally in Nebraska, my blood red seat, where Dan Osborne has a decent.
and chance of picking off that Senate seat and you see the eyes of the people in the audience
glazing over, especially the women. Did you notice that? Where they're just like, dude,
I'm over this, right? Like, you came here to Nebraska to talk about nuking San Diego and Los Angeles
and Jessica Tarlov. Like, see ya. I got to get something new in my life here. And the double
standard that exists for the kinds of things that Donald Trump can say. And, you know, and I'm going to
versus what a Democrat couldn't even think.
I feel like if we said anything like that,
even had the thought of it,
it would be end of days.
And we're just supposed to treat this as casual.
This guy who stood in front of generals
and said, I'm going to send you into blue cities,
Pete Hagseth up there with his weirdo,
like weirdos, beardos, fatties, stuff.
And then I don't care if Iran makes it to Los Angeles
or to San Diego.
It's just so unacceptable.
And obviously we respect the results of free and fair elections,
and he did win a free and fair election.
And, you know, one in places that I think he should have no business winning.
And we're seeing those populations turning against him now, you know,
11% of 2024 Trump voters regretting their vote.
But I really, I don't know, I spent a lot of time with conservatives.
I think I understand the way that they see the world to a large degree.
I don't get watching that and thinking, yeah, that's my guy.
And this is the guy that is delivering for us or even will deliver for us.
He's just so full of it.
You know, with the gas prices, it's just a little bit inflated.
You know, gas over $4 and diesel over 6.
That's not just a little bit inflated.
And they want to go back to, you know, the spike that happened under
Biden, the three weeks where it went up because of the war in Ukraine,
drama three weeks versus seven months of this.
I'm sorry.
I can't get past the comments.
Him suggesting Iran Nuka City, I almost kind of expect that.
I don't, I think it's so outrageous.
I'm not sure it has much impact.
But in an era where we are trying to, we are trying to teach our sons to have more
grace, more dignity, and recognize the enormous gains women have made and celebrate them,
and that men and young men need to be the afterboosters on their success, and that the traditional
notions of I Dream of Jeannie or Baywatch are outdated and do not in any way frame an approach
or how you should be thinking about women. We have a president who's supposed to be a role model,
the role model for young people, and he's
sees an attractive, articulate woman, disagree with him, and he immediately turns into the
comment section of a divorced guy's Facebook group. He brings the energy of the most insecure person
or the most insecure man who can't get matched on Hinge. It's like your grandfather yelling at the
Peloton instructor who's going too fast. He just doesn't, it makes him look so stupid. It sends exactly
the wrong message to our young men at a time when young men are struggling and young men
are looking for leadership, looking for mentors, and also have found terrible voices in the
ecosystem. This is Stephen Miller in the eighth grade who's been turned down by nine people
for junior prom and just goes angry and hateful.
Anyways, I'm having trouble getting, I'm having trouble getting passed.
You don't want to talk about the polls?
Sorry, I'm just...
And also just to be...
When the president says anything critical about anyone,
there's an element to this that is just journalists and good people and Americans
who are working hard and raising families don't need a man with a cult criticizing them for a lot of reasons.
A person who has developed cult-like followership should not be critical of public.
public figures, unless it's in a political context.
It just creates an atmosphere that is not healthy for America,
and it's irresponsible.
On so many levels, this is wrong, stupid, and dangerous,
and it needs to stop.
There has to be someone in his inner circle who can sit him down and go,
stop this.
You look stupid.
It makes you look, whatever the opposite of confident masculinity is, this is that.
You got to stop this.
Who do you think that person would be?
What he was griping about more than me, though, was that Abdul Al-Said was interviewed on Fox again.
And Martha McCallum had him in her hour in the 3 o'clock hour.
How do you do?
I didn't see it.
It was good.
It was very different than the interview with Jesse Waters, far less circumcision.
talk this time. But they covered a lot of ground and talked about health care and the economy
and the Middle East. And Abdul was cool as a cucumber. He's very good on those issues. Yes. And I think that
what he did, which he did with us as well, which, you know, wasn't adversarial necessarily. But we,
you know, we got into some meaty stuff, obviously, is that he comes off looking like a guy who can do the job.
And in these last days, that is what is most important, right?
That people, even if they're not 100% in agreement with you on all of the issues,
maybe if they're not, you know, universal health care people and they think it should be
public-private partnership, whatever it is, that they think that you acquit yourself well
and that you'd be a good representative of the state of Michigan.
And I don't think that people would watch the interview from yesterday and not come to that
conclusion. And he had a bunch of, I think, very strong moments. And again, the idea that a Democratic
candidate for Senate shouldn't be interviewed on Fox News is such a poor reflection on what's going
on in Donald Trump's mangled brain. You know, he says the other side doesn't do it. You know,
they don't talk to other voices. Scott Jennings sits on Abby Phillips show every night. And there's
usually a second conservative on there as well. You know, this is, it's the least, it should be the
least of his problems that people are listening to Abdul have a conversation about universal
health care with Martha McCallum, or that, again, I sit there one versus four every night for an
hour. It's amazing. Scott finds time to go on that show after his robust hour-long conversations
on geopolitics with Mitch McConnell.
It was only 20 minutes. Everyone only got 20 minutes with the Oracle.
Yeah, I bet that was a robust conversation.
Yeah, like one of the tests of a candidate's medal is their ability to go behind enemy lines.
And in any substantive conversation, he may disagree with Abdul, but he knows how to go behind enemy lines.
He's good at it.
And he is, along with AOC, regardless of what you think of their politics, along with AOC and MAMDONI, they are generational talents.
They're young, they're good-looking.
They are very calm.
They acquit themselves really well.
They have some of that Buttigieg kind of calmness about them
where they don't feel a need to insult or get back in people's faces.
I mean, let me put it this way.
And this whole notion you shouldn't go on.
Abdul's going behind enemy lines.
Is Kim Paxson going on CNN?
No, he's barely going on Fox.
Yeah.
I mean, they're bad in it.
These are bad candidates.
They're all running from a big.
Fismal records and Ken Paxton also running from everything else that he has going on in his life on top of the shitty record.
So.
I was on with Martha when my book came down.
Oh, yeah.
That was a nice conversation.
She couldn't have been nicer.
She couldn't have been.
That's what I hate about Fox.
Everyone's so fucking nice.
It's a real problem.
You go over there and everyone's just so lovely and you're like, well, I want to hate these people.
I saw your favorite last night, Liz Klayman.
Liz, former.
Yeah.
A bear.
Go bears.
Mm-hmm.
Raher.
Cow bear, there you go.
Yeah, great.

All right, speaking of campaign ads,
not that we were. The main Senate super PAC for Dems has been ramping up the amount of ads they are
airing that tie Republicans to Jeffrey Epstein. It could be a smart move. Polling shows that 44% of voters
including many swing voters see Epstein is a serious issue in the campaign season. Ad impact counts 69
Epstein-related ads so far the cycle with more than $37 million. Here's one of those ads.
Six million documents, 1,200 victims, and his vote stood in the way of the truth.
Dan Sullivan took thousands in cash from Epstein Associates and voted to keep the files hidden from the public.
Even after he knew 14-year-old girls were raped, Dan Sullivan had the power to release the Epstein files and protect the victims.
Instead, he protected his donors and his friends.
Winston, it is responsible for the content of this ad.
At ad goes hard, the music and everything, you know, it has major creep vibes to it.
And, you know, Dan Sullivan is tied to this less than other folks that are in government.
But it is a stain on everyone who voted against the release of these files or who says nothing about it.
And I think it's smart for the Epstein files to come back into focus.
You know, of course, you want justice for the victims and for them to feel like they were heard and that maybe some justice will be served in some.
but it also is a potent electoral issue. And it ties into this broader conversation around
corruption and the elite, the Epstein class, as John Ossoff, had been calling them. And I think it's
going to make a big difference. It's a big factor in the Ohio Senate race with John Houston
and Sherrod Brown trying to get his seat back. And I'm glad that it's popping up again. It feels
like one of those things that we just forgot about. This happened in the 2024 election. Remember,
we were talking about Project 2025 all the time. And then suddenly with only like 60 days to go,
we're like, oh, let's talk about other shit. And it was like, no, no, no, let's talk about the
really scary thing that they actually, you could print out and it's 928 pages or whatever. And it's
their blueprint for destroying the country and the Constitution. And we got sidetracked. And then we got
our butts kicked. So I appreciate we're not going to get sidetracked here because I think it is
important. And it is one of the only issues also that crosses over, you know, where Republicans
are also upset about it and feel like they were lied to and betrayed by the administration.
Yeah, I think it's not only effective. It's well earned. Well, moving on to more.
Wait, can I say something about a fun ad or the Taurico campaign?
It has this ad against Ken Paxton.
It's introducing Scandul.
It's the betting app where you can parlay Ken Paxton scandals and get paid.
Bet the over under on how much money Ken is made from the cell phone tower.
He controls on the grounds of a hospital where he served on the board of directors.
So, like, making fun of how we're all obsessed with betting on everything, which is a scourge.
And that is very bad.
But Ken Paxton has all of these scandals.
and they're going to run through them.
And I love the play on the cultural zeitgeist
to have this come to life.
And the little tagline below it says,
Here's a tip. Always bet that he did the thing.
That's hilarious.
That's good.
We need to move on.
Okay.
The case of the Cornell 7 continues to spark outrage
around the country and on the Cornell campus
where thousands of students and faculty rallied last night
in the first large campus gathering
since the lawsuit over the school's handling
of a 2024 sexual assault allegation
drew national attention.
protesters march to the home of President Michael
caught the cough's office chanting for his resignation
and for banning fraternities.
Just what are your thoughts?
Is this a university issue, a justice issue, both?
Yes.
Yes.
It sounds like it's an everything issue.
Yeah, everything issue, yeah.
Yeah, and, you know, more information is coming out
as reporters and journalists are on this beat.
Now, ABC News has a new phone conversation that took place
between Jane Doe and one of the frat brothers.
She said there's so much damage on my body and brain.
If I wanted to take this somewhere, what you all did was gang rape.
You know I was 10 shots deep.
I remember looking up and thinking this is too many people.
One of the guys did say in response that she told them that she was sober and they're conflicting reports between what she said in 2024 versus the lawsuit now.
So she rated her drunkenness as a five or six.
and then it was too inebriated to have been able to consent.
It's not surprising that there would be discrepancies.
And we know this to be true of people obviously remembering things and also looking at the totality of what happened versus how you feel in the moment.
But these screenshots of the text messages are terrible.
I'm not saying it means necessarily they deserve their day in court or wherever this is going.
But the idea of inviting, you know, anyone in the house in there, you know, shops open, free pussy.
She's on birth control.
Like, that doesn't look good.
And it's just horrifying.
And I don't know what Cornell is going to do generally about the amount of people who are reporting that they are being sexually assaulted at school.
I know that this is happening everywhere, but the 25 to 35 percent.
it's pretty astonishing to me.
And I know we talked about it a few days ago
and I was reading the comments.
And a lot of people said that that didn't surprise them,
which is disturbing on another level.
Yeah, it's been, I mean, this involves the law, universities,
fraternities, the legal definition of consent,
New York law versus other state laws.
There's just so many, the media's response to it,
rush to judgment, you know, due problems,
at the same time, a campus environment that is clearly not safe for young women.
I mean, there's just so many issues here.
And the issue I don't think is getting enough attention is, like most issues that ALS,
I think a lot of problems would slow.
The atmospherics run a lot of our biggest problems would get better if we had much more engaged fathers.
and I had this conversation with my oldest
and I've been thinking a lot about,
everyone talks about, you know, girl dads, boy moms,
well, all right, boy dads,
what are you going to do around this one?
And it's an uncomfortable conversation,
and I had it with my oldest,
and my advice, and I've been asked by quite a few people,
how would you approach this with your sons?
And I said, well, this is how I approach it with my sons.
And I want to be clear.
One of my many weaknesses is I'm often more certain than I should,
be in one place I'm constantly insecure as around parenting. And I first asked my son about it and just
asked his thoughts and just listened. Generally speaking, every young man I've spoken to about this
issue is sort of horrified by the whole thing. I then moved to this notion of empathy is not sympathy.
It's in a situation like this, trying to imagine your sister in the exact same situation at a
campus across town. How would you want the men to behave? This is a person and this is someone's
daughter or someone's sister.
I'm like, imagine in 10 years you have a job,
you have a wife, you have a kid,
what would your future self-advise you to do in that moment?
And then I get very tactical,
and that is, I think it's generally as a good rule,
and we talked about this,
that when you have physical contact with a woman,
which is a wonderful thing,
probably on the first contact,
just both you should be sober.
I mean, just in terms of just risk on both parts
for both parties,
at your age, the first time you have physical contact with a woman, it should be sober.
And because everybody, they've been trained about consent.
They hear from a very young age, no means no, and they should get consent.
I think they understand that.
But I think what dads need to play a more engaged role in is saying, talking about specific situations.
And that is in the context of substances and alcohol, you should not be having physical contact.
of any kind. You should not be getting into fights. You should not be engaging in sexual contact.
It just creates, there's just too much poor judgment, too much, too many bad things can happen.
And by the way, I might be wrong on all of these or not get them exactly right. But what I don't
think we're spending enough time talking about is the role that fathers play in having these
uncomfortable conversations and being very specific in really mentoring young men around what it means to be
a young man, what it means to acquit yourself in the way you would want to reflect on and be proud of
what empathy really does mean. And as you're exploring your limits around alcohol and drugs,
to err on the side of just being very, very cautious. Any thoughts as a mom?
I support all of that. I do worry that life is too scary, especially when you're doing things early.
on to go into something like that completely he's sober where you're just, you know, facing it,
you know, and I would love if that would work.
Did you watch the show off campus?
I did, and you know what's weird?
I found it offensive.
And I realize I'm a boomer here.
I'm talking to Gen X, but I found it offensive.
I only got through two episodes, and I'll tell you why.
I find it in bad taste to have a woman who is the lead actress, having sex on
camera who just turned 18 with 27, 28, and 30-year-olds.
Oh, like they're real-life ages.
I think essentially it's training young people that all men look like 35-year-old personal
trainers.
I don't mind hookup culture, and it was nice that they were sober and it was hot.
But to create a situation where it feels like it's normalizing, you know, grown men who
already like have bought and sold to flip their first house in Orlando, Florida, are having sex
with an 18-year-old. It seemed to me very obvious. These were much older men. And beyond the kind of
pervy nature of it, I quite frankly, I think it just makes it really hard for men because it
creates a level of expectation around what an 18-year-old man should look like. Anyways, I'm probably
too sensitive about age, but I found the whole thing a little inappropriate. No, I totally get that
angle. And when a friend of mine texted me about the ages of the actors versus the main actress,
It definitely struck me as odd, though that is also just what goes on in our culture.
The thing that I wanted to bring up, because it's based in your comment, is there is a lot of very intimate sober sex in that show for kids that are out partying all the time.
And some of it is sloppy, and there is drunken sex, but especially between the two main characters, there is this very,
intense, sober, physical relationship that me and all of my girlfriends were texting about
how incredible it was and that they were actually portraying a level of intimacy that we weren't
even sure we could have with our husbands. It is like nothing that I think anyone that I know
could have ever been a part of, certainly in their college years, that I was like, oh my God,
Is this how actually kids' lives look like now?
What you're talking about being able to have a sober interaction for your first time, I think, is an admirable goal.
I worry that it is not possible for young kids because of also the amount of nerves that go into this when you're getting naked with people for the first time.
And odds are that you've gone out that night and you're not just meeting up at, you know, three o'clock between study sessions.
to get some, I don't even know, I can't even talk, I'm so awkward. I don't even know what to say
anymore. And I feel kind of weird that I brought this up. But it electrified the working housewives
of my chain. Okay, forget. Forget I said to any of this. There's just no, there's no easy way.
There's, I think the Cornell president is history. There's going to be a blood offering.
I used to think that there was no way there was going to be a retrial because most of the legal
experts I've spoken to have said that they don't think they get in an indictment, much less
a criminal conviction. I now believe with these new texts coming out and this new information
coming out that a DA is going to pick this up. Well, it's to shame so I was in charge.
I think we're going to review codes of conduct at universities. So universities can have codes of
conduct. And I would imagine a lot of universities are rethinking codes of conduct. Two of the kids,
my understanding is two of the kids were in fact expelled. Yeah. But this is, you know,
This is probably, and you brought up to stat,
35% of women at Cornell say that they were a subject to unwanted sexual contact,
which means there's a huge problem.
And universities are probably going to spend a lot of time rethinking codes of content
because the law at the end of the day is a very blunt instrument.
And I'm not suggesting this course shouldn't be tried.
But there's got to be several steps,
whether it's dads having open and honest conversations with their sons
and trying to make them into better men,
or universities recognizing,
you don't have a birthright
to be at a university
and asking people to sign up
to a certain code of conduct
before it even gets to a legal matter
is probably on the table
and something they should be thinking about right now
as opposed to the natural tendency
to just not want to deal with it
because of a legal liability.
I totally agree that the conduct codes
should be re-evaluated.
I imagine the university president
will not make it through this.
One thing that I have been
stewing about, though, is the release of everybody's names.
And there is this, I don't know, journalists is the right thing to call him, but this guy
Michael Tracy who figured out who Jane Doe was and put her name on the internet for a while
and then ended up taking it down.
And I was listening to him defend his decision.
It was on Pierce Morgan.
It was a whole thing.
If anything happens to her, he should be criminally liable, if anything happens to her.
That is just so unacceptable.
What I have a problem with some of these men's pictures being-
Well, that was going to be my question.
But that's not a fraction as bad.
I don't think that they're comparable, but.
Agreed.
Those boys' faces are everywhere now.
And I'm not saying you have to let the process play out.
It obviously looks incredibly bad.
But we did have with Duke and UVA that the guys who they said did these heinous acts
didn't end up doing them in the end.
And I wish that we could go through this process without the names and faces out there for public flogging.
And I do think that they're different.
Obviously, putting her name out there is a whole other level.
But when I see that picture of the seven of them flying around, it's all over my algorithm.
It does give me pause.
Well, and you see people bringing them up, talking about them, talking about their lives, where they were, big pictures of them.
and that is wrong.
What's unacceptable
and I think should potentially be criminal
is doxing the victim.
Yeah.
Has American foreign policy become a tool
for private gain
and anti-democratic ideology?
They look for alliances and relationships
not based on the idea
that they're building a broad realm
of peace and prosperity.
Rather, they're looking for deals
and relationships that are good for them.
I'm John.
And I'm Jake Sullivan, and we're the hosts of The Long Game, a weekly national security podcast.
This week, journalist Ann Applebaum joins us to discuss her reporting on how private wealth and far-right
ideology are reshaping American foreign policy. The episode is out now. Search for and follow
The Long Game, wherever you get your podcasts. Let's move on. Lastly, a measles outbreak is spreading
across parts of the Northeast with Pennsylvania surpassing 1,000 cases this year, and New York
seeing more than 100. Now New York is declaring a state of emergency and expanding access to vaccines
as health officials try to contain the outbreaks. This is the worst surge in 35 years. How much Jess do you
think RFK Jr. is to blame for this? Not as much as many people would like. I mean, this is a two-part
problem. There's a big decline in childhood vaccinations, and he is an anti-vaxxer, and we can lay a lot of
this at his feed. But there are also huge gaps in adult vaccination schedules.
And as I was reading about this, I thought I was like, I have to ping my doctor to make sure that I am fully, you know, up to date on all of this.
And some of the vaccinations that you need to get later on in life like TDAP I got while I was pregnant because that's what they recommend.
So this is a double-edged sword in terms of a problem.
So you have an RFK and an anti-vax movement problem element and then you also have a lazy adult problem.
But the biggest outbreak that we had, it was in Philly in 91, that was 1,400 people.
And Pennsylvania is now over 1,000 cases.
And most doctors who have commented on this have said that they don't see any indication that this is really going to slow down there.
So if you think that we had eradicated it in 2000, and now we might have an outbreak even bigger than we did in 1991, it's pretty concerning stuff.
And New York, we're just at 100 cases so far.
But, you know, how quickly this can all move.
And the pediatric cases are really dangerous.
18% of them, they need hospitalization.
Dehydration becomes a huge problem.
Potential amputation.
Completely terrible.
And we have no one in leadership that is going to help with this.
I mean, we have on the state level folks that will.
But, I mean, on the federal level, you have a bunch of lunatics.
Yeah, it's the atmosphere here.
It's a lack of trust of institutions.
It's a lack of competence.
It's this Maha movement believing that you can't trust the quote-unquote experts, an anti-vaccination movement, which unfortunately got completed with a political viewpoint, which made no sense.
And what is now a level of doubt and insecurity around one of the greatest innovations in history that has saved tens of millions of people, which is vaccinations.
And then we have the person who's supposed to be the top health official in the nation, who's
is a conspiracy weirdo, has no scientific background, and is clearly anti-vax, and it creates an
atmosphere that results in needless death, disease, and disability. This is unforgivable, just as we're
going back in terms of alliances, we're going back in terms of our economy, we're going back in terms
of economic theory, we're literally devolving as a species and not taking advantage of some of the
incredible work and science and trusted institutions such as the CDC and former heads.
of HHS have earned through fantastic honorable work.
We are going from Crow Magnum, Mamm back to Neanderthals,
and it's the atmospherics of which RFK Jr. in my view plays a big role in.
Jess, I have to go to a meeting in Bruin Woods right now.
Stay safe out there.
Yeah, as should you, Jess.
I will be fine.
Let's leave it there.
All right, bye.
Bye.
