Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, guys, before we get in this podcast, football's in full swing, and you know what that means. Prize picks, go download the app right now. Use Code Bradley. And if you put in $5, literally your first lineup, $5, they'll give you $50. So whether you win or lose, draw, doesn't matter. You're getting $50 for free. I guess if you lost, you got $45, whatever, doesn't matter. Code Bradley, download the app right now.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Also, right now, prize picks just started adding picks during the game. So, like, if the game is already live, previously, if you didn't already have the pick in, it's gone. But now you could pick during the game. Obviously, there's a cutoff at some point throughout the game when, like, the pick, depending on whatever pick it is, is like you can't do it. But for the most part, you can do live picks. So give it a shot. Go to price picks right now.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Down the app, Code Bradley. Put in $5 on your first lineup. You get $50, literally for free. Win, loser, draw. All right, let's get into this podcast. Yeah, that's all my shit. Did you watch Daima yet? Yeah, I started it.
Starting point is 00:01:09 So good. So good, yeah, bro. I didn't go, like, I literally did a reference to it the other day. I was like, I was saying how, uh, because I spent so much time out of the gym because of like being in the villa and shit. Yeah. It felt like when Goku got turned into a kid, like, all my powers just disappeared now. Oh, I saw that.
Starting point is 00:01:23 I saw that in the TikTok. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I was saying, bro, I just feel so fucking, yeah. But I've seen all them. I like, I'm a. I'm a huge fan, man. Yeah, what's your, what's your tough enemy? Probably Dragon Ball, because that was the one that, like, really, when I was a kid,
Starting point is 00:01:36 it was the first thing that I was like, oh, I want to be Jacked. Yeah, I hear it. I swear. I feel like Dragon Ball's, like, that's the one gets gym people, like, active. Yeah. When you want to get into the gym, just watch Dragon Ball. I was a kid, bro, and I just remember watching it being like, I just love the idea that, like, they could always, they always, like, aim to get stronger.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Like, where they even wanted. There was no limitation. There was always getting powered up. even when they got fucked up, they'd heal up and then just get stronger. That was my favorite. And then it was always, I also like the idea of the Goku Vagita thing where it's like, you want him to be better, so you're better. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:02:12 I love that. Like, it's like, it's like, it's that rivalry, but it's a healthy rivalry. Like, they're always competing against each other, but they want to, they're always elevating each other. Yeah. And that's so that to me, I was like, it just reminded me so much of like what, as I got older like this how the gym felt with like your friends in the gym so but dude thank you for coming on are we rolling thank you for having me oh nice we're rolling okay cool um so i i've not actually
Starting point is 00:02:40 watched like full seasons or full episodes of these shows but i know exactly what they are i've seen enough to know exactly what it is i hear what was your perception of what it was like before you did it versus when you did it and then you're like was it better or worse or it was and also well i'll ask you another question go ahead so it was uh i can't say it was better or worse i feel like i kind expected the negatives but i didn't expect the way some of them would come about but the overall experience i couldn't have anticipated how it would have ended like me actually being a very serious relationship like actually loving the person I'm with um so it's not just for the show no you genuinely love the girl no genuinely yeah like yeah genuine like and a lot of people do
Starting point is 00:03:35 think like are they just together because of like you know appearances or whatnot but i i can't fake relationship i can't fake like being into someone yeah and caring for a person you know i mean so if i weren't feeling a person i'd i'd jump out which i think was quite obvious in the show like when i was When I weren't feeling who I was with, I'd be very honest. I'm like, yeah, like, you're dope, but, like, the connection ain't there. So how does it work? Obviously, this is, like, reality TV and I do quotes because, like, some of it I feel just at least from stuff that I've seen, not specifically Love Island, but just in,
Starting point is 00:04:08 in the history of reality TV, it's a little contrived, like a little forced. How much of it is, like, genuine? Obviously, I understand you came in, you felt like you couldn't, you know, you wouldn't connect with someone unless you really connected with someone, which is dope. But how much of like what you've seen behind the scenes? Because you know, like you talk with the boys. You're like, oh, yeah, I'm trying to like, they'll tell them the truth. Like how many of the other people were actually truthful like that?
Starting point is 00:04:33 I think I think everyone try to be as real and honest to themselves as they could. However, there are moments where, you know, narratives get spun. Like, they would be like, um, like, okay, so too many people can, speak up once. So if there was like free conversations going on and you wanted to have a conversation with someone, more time they'd say, okay, you got to wait your turn. You can't have that conversation just yet. Or they'd be like, there were certain instances where they'd be like, oh, you might just
Starting point is 00:05:09 give it a bit more energy, be a bit more lively, give us a bit more, do this, like, be a bit more exaggerated, be a bit more, you know, like have a bit more of like a character, you know what I mean? It's almost like when you're filming a YouTube video, I can't get on the internet and be like, hey guys, what's up, I'm going to show you how to do this workout. energy like what's going on guy exactly so it's the exact same thing it's like you got but they're not like you'll go hit him or go go argue with her they would never be like oh um however there were times where i found out later on um that certain people non-cast were telling my girl that i weren't really feeling her what yeah like well like behind the scenes
Starting point is 00:05:52 Like, so you would have, you'd have, was he trying to slide or like, what's going on? No, like, they were trying to get her to go with someone else. Ah, right. Just for issue. Just, yeah. Which I thought was really, and I'm not blaming, like, the whole production, because I think there's a lot of the production are dope people. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:11 But it's just certain people that are working within it that were kind of spinning certain things, which I was shocked by. I only found out after the show as well, like. Yeah. So towards the end, I started noticing that there were little things I didn't really fuck with. Like, so let me start from to get. So going on to the show, I was like, okay, this is an experience.
Starting point is 00:06:32 I'm going to go in, like, if I find love, great, lit. I'm gassed about that. But I'm not expecting it. Like, I'm going to go. I'm going to chill. I'm going to have fun. I'm going to get to know people and be my authentic self. And I may enjoy the process as well.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Yeah. And that's what I did for the majority of it. And then I'd say it was really after like Casam. more where I realized okay the emotions are a lot realer than I believe like within the cast and everything people really do like the girls are really vibed with the guys the guys really do vibe with the girls this ain't no like this isn't television this is real life you know what I mean just so at what at what point in the season would that have been when you said that was like after cast some more so that's like towards the end like we've we've crossed over the halfway point
Starting point is 00:07:18 I came in a little bit later I was like I was a bombshell so I didn't I wasn't in in the get-go. So I came in, like, I don't know what episode, was in the villa, I was with the main cast, and then got taken on to Kaza, was a donut in Kasa, and then, and they came back, and I was like, shit, I really do like this girl. I knew in Kasa that I liked her, but, you know, I still... What did you like about her? Because you, there's the first time you've ever seen her, right? Ever met her? Yeah, yeah. Um, it's, she was just mad, easy to talk to, like, to start off with. Like, when me and her first spoke, it was a friendship.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Like, me and her were like, we would just have great conversation. Like, literally the first, the first day I got in, I remember she was on the bed with, uh, with Serena. Um, and I was just talking with them, like, across the, like, so I'm in here. They're on the bed over there and we're just talking. And like, they were just mad easy to talk to. Like, I knew from the get girl, like, I fucked with them heavy. And then as the day.
Starting point is 00:08:22 went on. Obviously, I was coupled up with another girl. And I was still just sort of like being very relaxed about it. Like, I'm just going to like get to know as many girls as possible. Yeah. Respectfully. And like, if I vibed and my vibe, if I don't, I don't. And then I started to see her a bit more and speak to her a bit more. And I was like, it was just, I don't know, it was just, it was starting magnetic. Like, genuinely it was just something magnetic like the way she carried herself um i always felt like there was more depth to her than what met the eye and then and that and then what other people were saying she was like yeah um and then when i actually like started to talk to i was like okay no i do you really fuck of you
Starting point is 00:09:10 and then that's when i made the decision i was like i wanted actually couple up with her um which i actually made that decision so i got asked to go on a date The day before the date, I was like, okay, I'm going to go chop it up with Leah. I ended up waking up in the morning, like four in the morning by this new bomb show that came in. She was like, Miguel, we're going to go on a date. I'm like, okay, that's just fucked up my whole plan. But, bet, I'm going to go on a date with this girl now. So we go on a day.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Are you required to go on these dates? If you get asked to, yeah. Okay. Like, I feel like you'd be a bit of a dick. He was just like, nah, I don't want to go on a date with you. Yeah. Like, kind of defeats the whole purpose of what you're being there. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:09:46 But that's actually interesting. Imagine I was just like, nah, I want to go on a date. Just turn over, put the comments on. Yeah, I'm tired. Like, you won't meet me up, bro, fuck that. But yeah, I went on the date with her. And then on the way back from the day, I was speaking to Serena and Jeney and I was like,
Starting point is 00:10:00 yo, I really want to, I fuck with Leah. I want to talk to her. I want to couple up with her. Do you think she'd be down? And she was like, yeah, yeah, she'd be down. Have you, have you spoken? Obviously, you speak to Leah all the time, but have you spoken to her about your first interaction
Starting point is 00:10:13 and what she thought of you? Yeah, Breer. Briefly, I'm not gonna lie, we don't really speak much about, like, Love Island and shit. She makes jokes about Casa Moore and, like, what I did, because, you know, like, I was just saying dumb shit. I was being, like, a character. Yeah. You know what I mean? So she'd always, like, make little jokes about that.
Starting point is 00:10:34 And I'm like, yeah, I'm stupid. About the, like, so. But, like, she, well, our first initial, like, conversation, like, I was like, yeah, she's bad. And she was thinking, yeah, he's cute. But all the girls want him, so fuck that. Because when I came in, everyone was like, this guy's a fuck boy. Like, we don't want to be associated with this guy. So, yeah, she was like one of the own, one of the few girls that was like, go away.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Interesting. Did that make you want to pursue her more? It definitely intrigued me. Yeah. Definitely. Because, like, it was like, she was never like, I want to speak to you. But when we spoke, it was just so, like, relaxed and very natural. Seameless.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Yeah. yeah super like our first conversation we just like hit it off on like dumb subjects like history and animals like history bro we literally spoke about like ancient egypt semarian baby like that's cool though like we spoke about tv like because like i'm a big movie here like i like films or like animal that shit so we're speaking about our interest in that um she was telling me about her farm so like we hit it off straight away but we just it was just like a slow a slow development which I'm grateful for because I feel like
Starting point is 00:11:46 if we did get together straight away it may not have gone the same the way it has but yeah the way it all panned out was just like perfect
Starting point is 00:11:56 like literally but like maybe I would change some things I said in like in between but I wouldn't have changed the outcome of like how everything went about
Starting point is 00:12:06 at all yeah it was and one thing I rate about her as well is even when said people in her ear saying Miguel don't fuck with you she was there like well he's showing me that he likes me he's showing me that he's interested and he said to me like
Starting point is 00:12:24 I can't guarantee a relationship but I fuck of you and I'm willing to see what's gonna happen outside of here yeah and she stopped by that and like she was patient with me so do you think that like the relationships that are built on that show like can actually last like is you think a relationship not it's like a weird question but I think they I definitely think they can Um, 100%.
Starting point is 00:12:45 It's, this is the thing in it about love. Like, love isn't just like you meet someone, you have a good conversation and that's it. Like you guys are together forever. Yeah. It's a very, it's a very intricate, scary, complex thing. Yeah. There's no straight and narrow. There's no guidebook.
Starting point is 00:13:06 It's just like it's, it's magnetic. It's an emotion. It's trial. It's error. It's, you know, good, bad. It's work, yeah. It's supposed to be. Your hustle for that shit.
Starting point is 00:13:17 And the people that you bring on to them shows, one thing I'll say about Love Island, they are very well calculated. They know who they bring on, I think. From what it seemed like, they knew, okay, Miguel is this kind of character. He likes these kind of people. He's this charismatic. These girls are like this, this and this. There's a potential there. So you think they actually think about that stuff, it's just to be like, all these people are hot, so I'm going to put them on TV.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Oh, 1,000 percent. Because there's so, bro, there's so many people that go that. that like apply so many people that apply and from what i heard as well they even fly extra heads out to go to like so we did it in fiji right yeah they flew extra heads out they stay in the hotel some of them don't even go into the villa oh just potentials to see what happened exactly so it's like there is a process that they go through there is like there there's a science behind it they really do look at the personality traits you know the the physical and they say okay the people that in the villa right now they mesh this this could work this bombshell could shake something up
Starting point is 00:14:16 because this bombshell could potentially go with him him him or her her you know what I mean and they're based off of what they like the interview like because what's the interview process the interview process is is is long you have multiple interviews and then in the interviews obviously first is asking you like so where you from what you do what are your hobbies what do you like then it's like what's your type what's your what's your chat up line all this stuff so they and then it's like repeated and then they do like a zoom meeting And in that Zoom meeting, they actually see, like, how you are interacting. Yeah, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:14:46 Like your facial reactions, you know what I'm saying? Like your expressions. So they really go through a lot of detail to really see like, okay, this person is this kind of person. He seems genuine. He seems goofy. He seems like a fuck boy or vice versa for the girls. You know, she seems funny. She seems, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:15:02 Yeah, yeah. All of these things. Did you at all play up like the fuck boy thing to get on the show to like, because we talked briefly like. Yeah, I did. I did, I did, I did amp that up a little bit. They're like, they're like, so if you go in there, like, do you care about if someone's in a, in a couple? Like, no, I don't get a fuck.
Starting point is 00:15:20 I'll take that guy quick. They were like, uh, worry if a girl's in a really committed relationship, she's going to be, she's going to change her mind when she sees me come in, you know what I'm saying? Like, like, it's just, it's just little things like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's confident. Then they'll be like, okay, well, who are you into? Who are you into?
Starting point is 00:15:36 And I'll be like, I like, this girl, this girl, this. Actually, I like all of it. Like, so which one do you go for? all of them. Just little things like that. Because I was like, I knew that's kind of what they wanted. You know what I mean? If I'm going to be a bombshell, which I knew I was going to be a bombshell, they're going
Starting point is 00:15:48 to want someone that's confident enough to go in and like get the girls. Cars kind of, cause kind of habit. But like at the same time, I'm not that guy. You know what I mean? I can play that guy, but I'm not that guy. So it's like, I'm actually a lover boy. And I said that when I came in, I said, I'm a lover boy at heart with fuckboy traits. Because it's true.
Starting point is 00:16:07 I'm a lover boy at heart. But like when I was single, you have to have a lover boy. boy traits. It's like how you're able to chat. You know what I'm saying? You call it fuck boy traits or you can say it's smooth. You can say it's charisma. It's just a phrase to put in there to say like I'm able to talk together. You know? Yeah. But that's what I said. I knew it would run and it worked and I got in there. You know what I mean? Yeah. I think I don't when I look at it, I'm just like how do they, I guess the interview process is how they make such a good show because what I find so interesting is that when I look at socials and I'm like
Starting point is 00:16:37 looking at Leah socials, your socials, I'm like, how the fuck, there's this many people that are really into this shit. Crazy. Like, do you know the numbers of like the viewership of those shows or of your shows?
Starting point is 00:16:48 Do they ever say how X amount of people watched it? They, because obviously everyone has fucking Netflix. I think they did, but I forgot. But they were like, I remember when we finished, finished shoot in the last episode, it was the fight finale.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Sorry, and they were like, yo, just so you guys know when you step out of here. From the way they were talking, it seemed like it was the first time they really said this to the, to the crew. They're like, when you got out here, your life ain't going to be the same. It's going to change. And we was like, what? They're like, you guys blew every other show in America.
Starting point is 00:17:21 We was like the most viewed. And there are other ones as well, I'm assuming. Yeah, there was like Love Island, UK. We blew them out of the war. Love Island, Australia. All of them. Like, we was like the number one. And we even beat shows like Bridgeton, the boys.
Starting point is 00:17:36 Like, fuck. That's such a good show. I love the boys. Yeah, I love that show. I love the boys. I was like, when they said we beat the boys. I was like, we were the boys?
Starting point is 00:17:42 Yeah, there's no way. I don't know. They got shit on me, boy. Yeah, because that was like a cult audience. Yeah. But it makes sense though because I'm like, I remember looking at like, I don't know, it just felt at one point. I don't know when social media got popular that like all the reality stuff just got
Starting point is 00:17:56 less popular. But then for some reason, this translated so well to socials. Because your socials are crazy. Her socials are crazy. Yeah. Are there other contestants where their socials are as crazy? Oh, yeah, yeah, like the final three, like Serena, Janay, Cordell, Kenny, Rob, all of them, really, everyone's socials went, like, blew out, like, everyone's doing really well. Everyone's killing it. Everyone's social media is doing bits and it's really good to see, like, because, you know, like, there's, there have been differences and there were certain altercations, but like, everyone I believe on the show is really got a good heart. You know what I mean? And it's nice to see that everyone is doing really well.
Starting point is 00:18:40 But if you used to tell me, like, that's what I would happen afterwards. I would have been like, I was even speaking to my boy because I kind of didn't want to do it. My friends were the ones that were like, you might as well just do it. Like, it's an experience. Like, you're all about experience. Just fuck it. Yeah. I was like, that, cool, whatever.
Starting point is 00:18:55 So big up my friends for getting me to go into it. Yeah, they really did. What was your life prior to all this shit? Bro, I'm the most chill dude. I was living in Spain. Spain is, though. Yeah. I was helping my dad out in his restaurant.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I was a barman. And I was also modeling as well. So I was working with Fashion Nova. I was doing their e-com. Yeah. I was actually getting back into modeling because I've had like a very interesting experience with my modeling career.
Starting point is 00:19:22 I've had really high highs, low lows. And it's just kind of waved up and down and met some cool people, some horrible people. So my view on the industry was kind of like interesting. but I've always like I've always been the kind of person like there's more to this I can find there's just keep trying you're going to see something happen yeah and uh that's kind of where I was in in in Spain I was helping my dad out in this restaurant and I was also doing like social media I was doing Instagram I was doing like a bunch of fitness stuff
Starting point is 00:19:50 on like Instagram and shit yeah because you're you're you're into the fitness shit for real it seems that way at least once I've seen once you've come out I've seen you at the gym uh at zoo and I was like because I someone someone texts me was like yo this guy's at your gym and i was like which can i'm looking and then that's when i'm looking to the social's like what the fuck these this the crazy because i've been in social media forever and then when i see the conversion i'm like what the fuck it trips me out yeah it's like you're it went from zero to a thousand so quick like like like if also get i'll say like how many likes i was getting i'll probably get like a couple thousand yeah well i and i saw lea too she was getting like a couple thousand it's
Starting point is 00:20:28 like millions and you're like up there like 500 000 i'm like what the fuck it's it's it's Your whole life's different now. Yeah, it's very busy. What is your family think about it? They're like, obviously it's dope. Yeah, they were like, so my mom was kind of like, she was better disappointed me in Casa and I completely understand. But she said she was proud of me.
Starting point is 00:20:50 She was proud of how I carried myself. And I think it's just, there's a lot going on back home with my parents. So like, I feel like they're kind of distracted. But when they see me, like my dad's on, my dad's on TikTok for some reason. and he's got Instagram. He don't even post. He's just there. But, like, he's literally like, I got like, I love my letter to bits.
Starting point is 00:21:09 But boy, he'd be stirring some shit. Like, he'll be in my comments like, why you're not in the gym? Do this, dude. And after, like, all the fans would be like, Miguel's not going to the gym. He's slacking off. Even his dad says so. And I'm like, fuck, I'm going to go to the gym now.
Starting point is 00:21:19 I'm not slacking. No, you seem like you take it serious. No, I love it. Because I've seen you in the gym a few times. You take it serious. Yeah, no, I love it. I'll be there, like, easily, like, hour and a half. I could get there for two hours.
Starting point is 00:21:28 I remember after lockdown, I mean, my boy went, that's because we started doing calisthelics and shit. And when the gyms opened up again, we was literally in there for six hours. We got there midday, we finished there, we left.
Starting point is 00:21:38 You sound like me. We was left that sick. Obviously, we was fucking around talking, but we did literally every single body part, destroyed ourselves. And then we was just doing like three hour sessions, going to like calisthenics parks
Starting point is 00:21:49 and fucking around over there. Just because it's fun. Like you said, the community is sick. Yeah. So when you make friends in the gym, like obviously you should focus and shit, 100%.
Starting point is 00:21:57 but like it's like it's a community space as well you know what I'm saying you you're there you converse you boost each other up me my whole life is from the gym like all all my good relationships friendships my whole life's from there yeah I see I see I saw you there today like yeah yeah yeah I was streaming with fandom he wanted to do like a workout like that's that's hey and that's that's what it like you're even bringing people outside I probably don't even train like that like to come in because inspirational as well like you know I mean so there's a lot of good comes out of the gym man and all yeah it's it's like it's therapy for me you know what i mean like where i can't really talk about certain things where i
Starting point is 00:22:31 feel like i'm i'm a quiet person when i get mad like i just go quiet i go mute yeah and the only time i really like release that energy is in the gym yeah you know i mean so i love it so is this like when you because i always ask this question people who get like super successful did when you were younger and you know and you got before like before you got into modeling or maybe as you're getting the modeling, were you, did you ever feel like, yeah, I'm going to do something more than just like, whatever is normal? Yeah. Have you felt that way your whole life?
Starting point is 00:23:01 Yeah. I was always kind of like that. Like, when I was a kid, I said, I said, I said, I wanted to get into acting, then I did it. I used to say, like, I just knew I wanted to do something more. Like, I was from a place called, I'm from a place called Bournemwood. It's like a really, like, quiet neighborhood, just in the outskirts of London, not really much going on. Ironically, like, they got the studios there where they filmed like Indiana Jones, Star Wars or
Starting point is 00:23:24 filmed there, so many, but like, it's literally outside my crib. But, like, the area itself is just mad quiet. And, like, just growing up, like, like, I used to watch, like, Ace Ventura. I was a big, um, Jim Carrey fan. Hell yeah. Um, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, like, all of them things. And growing up when I was like, I want to do that. I want to do stuff like that. Like, yeah, things that people, like, respect. It brings joy. It's fun. Yeah. Like, I just knew I wanted to do something more. Um, and I, like, I'd definitely say, I spoke a lot of my shame to existence, but I think I've literally,
Starting point is 00:23:58 like I'm someone that just try shit. Like, if I want, if I get bored at one point, I'll do it. Like, I remember even my friends, like, they were like, oh, you should record music. I was like, bet. Like, I'm not saying I was good at it, but like, I had fun doing it, you know what I mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Like, I'll just do shit for the sake of because life is short. Just fuck it, you know, if you want to do something, do it. And that's what I always did. Like, so I've done everything that I want to do. Now it's just making a million. Yeah. That's literally it.
Starting point is 00:24:21 You haven't made a million yet? No, not yet. I feel like, you could be able to make that quick, bro. With the follow with the numbers? Yeah. On the way. Like, I'm definitely, like, I'm definitely grateful for what I've made because it's, it's a fuck, it's a lot.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Yeah. Compared to what I was making, like, I'm mad grateful. And it's something that I'm able to at least give back to my family and my parents and stuff. Yeah. But, yeah, we're on the way. So what do you want to do now with your, basically, I mean, newfound fame. What do you want to do with it?
Starting point is 00:24:53 like what's your focus so currently i'm working on uh a line i'm working on like a clothing line um which is sort of like a like semi street wear fitness wear as well um so that's that's currently in the works i want to be able to do i really want to get into voice overacting like oh yeah it's just something i've always been into doing like you know like for games and stuff so oh yeah that's something i bear i want to do so getting into voice over acting and then uh i me and my friends as well, like one of our boys, Blaze, he's actually just flown in today. He's mad entrepreneurial, like big business mindset.
Starting point is 00:25:31 So we've got a couple things that we're working on as well. Do you have any money in crypto? No, I don't. Fuck. It's going crazy right now. Is it? I'm so happy. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:25:41 Are you about that life? Oh, yeah. Okay, well, we can talk. You can teach me a couple of things. To be honest. That's one of the craziest things right now. It's nuts. Because I know that that should be like fluctuating like a month.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Yeah, yeah. One minute, it's doing really well. Next minute, you've lost a couple hundred thousand. Yeah. It goes up in. I'm just lucky I got in really early. So like, that's a lot. That's another thing, in it.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Yeah. You got to be. But you could still, if you, if you learn the markets now, like it's, it's, it's always kind of doing this. So you can make a lot of money in here up and down to up and down. Well, I'm always about learning. So I'm down to take a. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:14 I'd help you. And I have some friends who are really fucking good at it. Heavy. Like, and those people who've helped me too. I appreciate it. No, I'm definitely down to learn that. Um, so. I guess like
Starting point is 00:26:24 with like modeling shit clearly it's this is you've gotten probably way more opportunities now just because you have more clout right definitely what's the weirdest thing someone's tried to like get you to do
Starting point is 00:26:37 that you're like nah like sense the fame shit I mean since the fame I'd say I'm blessed to have a good team so like all the weird shit kind of gets funneled out so I really see it too much.
Starting point is 00:26:54 But like, it's before the fame where the weird shit came out. I ain't gonna like, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was before the fame. Like, I've had, like, cast and directors be like, yo, you do this for me and I'll get you to do, bro, dead off. I've 100% believe you, though. Like, I remember I was in Milan and I had a couple people, like,
Starting point is 00:27:12 being like, like, big heads as well. I'm not going to out and, but like, some big heads be like, do this for me, and I'll do this for you. And I'm, Bro, it's crazy how that is a, that's such a real thing. Such a real thing. No, I always, I'd like, I've told my friends, bad people, I was like, I could have made a million time ago.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Yeah. If I just dropped my morality, I could admit. 100%. And it's like, it's scary how much influence somebody people have. Because I know a couple heads that have done it. Yeah. Like they're just giving in. I've sold my underwear at one point.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Yeah, yeah, I swear. This is years ago. This is a hundred. Hold on. Hold on. Let me preface. He's got brady skitties hanging off on their walls, bro. This is literally 10 years ago, no, more than 10, maybe like 13 years ago.
Starting point is 00:27:59 This is when I was actually broke. And I remember just being like, someone asked me to, because I used to do the competition stuff. And so if someone asked me, and I was like, wait, he's like, want to buy three pairs. And I was like, well, how much? And he's like, I'll give you 200. I was like, give me 800 for one. And I was, and he was like, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:18 So I was like, fuck. So I'm about sell three. By, but at this point, I'm brus. They're saying, it's a tree. Not one, not too about a tree. And I was like, I was like, fuck it. Because did you even give it a little signature? No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:28:32 I just said, fresh out of the show. There you go, because, well, I just sold the shit. Because, like, in meaning the fitness community, there's a lot of weird shit in the fitness community. Because it's like, you know, it's men dominant, you know, the gay dudes, they want to buy some, you don't know, to sniff your underwear or whatever the fuck were. It was just that I don't, at that time I was so broke.
Starting point is 00:28:50 I was like, underwear, what the fuck? I'm not going to use this shit anyways. Yeah, no, I hear it. I hear it. You know what? You're lucky because that's a light. That's a light request. I ain't got a lot.
Starting point is 00:29:00 100%. No, I mean, and I've got the other. I got the other weird ones where like, yeah, yeah, I sold them. Yeah, yeah, I sold them. But, yeah, I've gotten the weird ones where they're like, people want you to like send them videos and fly. I was never like, nah, I'm not doing nothing.
Starting point is 00:29:14 You know, I'm not going to show any of myself. When he was with the underwear, I was like, yeah, you want this old underwear? When you start going nudie on the net point, that shit travels quick. That's what a lot, and that's what a lot of girls do specifically nowadays is crazy. Yeah. Crazy as far. It's too easy of an industry now.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Yeah. I'm sure has, has Leah been like, I'm sure she's been solicited to try to be on some of these platforms to like, like the OF or whatever. I mean, yeah, we haven't really spoken about that, but like, I wouldn't be surprised. She would never do it. Yeah. Like, she would never do it. But, like, yeah, she's most definitely been. You wouldn't do some shit.
Starting point is 00:29:49 like that, I don't know. Yeah. I mean, because at some point, it's like, especially- I think as well, like, if you have like, it limits you. Realistically, it limits you. If you got like a certain trajectory and you got certain business, um, ventures that you want to go down. Once you do something like that, you're limited.
Starting point is 00:30:05 You can't really do a lot of things. Like, let's say you wanted to get into the acting realm or whatever it is, even though a lot of these industries, they asked for you to do them kind of things. Yeah. The moment you're out there doing it on your own time, like, it's, it's, It's a very weird thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:21 But like, yeah, it limits you heavily. It's nice. And like, just me personally is just that, that ain't for me.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Like, I wouldn't really do that. Yeah, I fuck. I, I guess it was cool. I'm just happy doing like workout shit. Get the voiceover act.
Starting point is 00:30:33 The voiceover thing. Because I want to own my own business. Like, I'm all, like, I like, like, I've,
Starting point is 00:30:39 I've jumped in a couple of things. You know what I'm saying? I've had a couple of businesses in the past. And, I just like ownership of what I, I've created. You know what I'm saying? Like one big goal of mine is to own like a really big what's the word like cabaret bar in London like a really cool jazz lounge cabaret bar. Oh like a like a like a like a great Gatsby type bar club but it's sophisticated as
Starting point is 00:31:07 fuck because there's nothing like that really there's only a few places I can think of like night jar. That's such a hard business but you can do it. Like I just I just love that look like I just think it's so sick. Like, if you had to come in, suit it up and everything. That's just like, that's like a later goal for mine.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Would you do that in London? Or you do that somewhere out here? I want to do it in London. I'd open my first one in London. Because I'm from London, right? So, like, I would definitely want to have my first one there. Just to clean up a vibe over there.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Yeah. And then, yeah, I'd want it to be like a, like a business where it like spread out a little bit. Fair. But signing clean, I probably wouldn't have too many because I want to keep like,
Starting point is 00:31:43 like things like that I want to have focus on it. So if I have like 20, I kind of like lose my head, but if I got like two, three dotted about, I can keep my eyes on it and make sure it's working out. You're better having like one, two places like that I'm making, what, and like loads and like it just suddenly becomes like a wash business. Yeah, yeah. You want to be able to maintain. It's like, it's uniqueness or it's special. 100%. And then at some point, obviously you can you can evolve it to something else when it's the times right. But I want to go back to the show a little bit. When you guys are on the show,
Starting point is 00:32:11 were you able to have your phones and communicate with like the outside world? Okay. So that's the thing that I find so crazy because you must have been like you came like when you get back and you get your phone like so you didn't have anyone telling you hey bro like your socials are going crazy or you don't know nothing
Starting point is 00:32:28 so the moment you get into the the moment you fly into Fiji it was literally a 24 hour thing flew into Fiji so I got in everyone gets in there before the show airs so like 24 hours after you arrive they take that phone off you all you get is a fire stick
Starting point is 00:32:42 and you got Netflix maybe Spotify I had Spotify and that's it really Amazon Prime if you got it okay that makes sense if you don't have and if you didn't have a Netflix account or an Amazon Prime account you're just stuck in a room they don't give you the account it's your own Netflix and you already had that you couldn't you sign up now you ain't got your card oh shit so you so you have no way to talk to anyone else and for how long was that uh two months damn that's kind of like Nice. No, like for me, I was training like a motherfucker in that room.
Starting point is 00:33:18 I remember I had like, because it's hot as shit. I had my skipping rope. I was doing like 200 pushups a day, skipping, squats. I was going crazy. It was literally until I got into the villa and I was outside and that Fiji heat was just burning me. Like you'd be training for like two minutes and you feel like you've been there for like two hours. Like it was just, it just messed with you. Plus you're on like two hours sleep because what like,
Starting point is 00:33:44 they would not let you sleep. Sometimes you would shoot until like late in the evening, like two, three, four in the morning, then you're off at like six in the morning, five in the morning. That would have crushed me, bro. It's a good way to get drama going. Yeah, get everyone, because you get like a little more tense. Yeah, fucking, you get a little more angry. Groggy, you're fucking, yeah, you're easily, like, triggered, tired as fuck.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Like, yeah, I don't know whether that was on on purpose, but like, we definitely had some sleepless nights. But it is nice. It must have been nice to just not have your phone for a while. Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:17 It was, it was, it's, uh, you know what it is. It is very, it's cleansing. Yeah. Like,
Starting point is 00:34:25 psychologically it's very cleansing. Like, coming back and like, now I'm on my phone all the time just because of like working shit. But, um, going into that,
Starting point is 00:34:33 it was definitely like, I took that as a challenge. I was like, no phone, bet, just train, vibe, get myself ready to get on that shit.
Starting point is 00:34:39 Because you don't, you don't even know if you're going on until they tell you, going on and then when you're in there same shit you're just communicating just talking to people so how does that someone actually win like so i don't understand is they like everyone sits down and they're like yeah this person should go it's just public vote it's just like i think from what i'm aware it's just who what the public deemed the best the strongest couple people who are watching yeah so how did you guys not win it seems like you guys would have been you guys almost should have won i i think i definitely think serena and cordel deserved it they they're very happy couple
Starting point is 00:35:11 like they definitely deserve it so that's how you that's how you win being the happiest couple i was i mean happy is whatever your take on happiness is but um i think it's just whatever whoever seems the strongest like the realest couple you know like uh car i think it just is what it is i think you know i'm very much aware like some of the things i said in casa could probably have like made people think oh he's just he's still a fuck boy he's still like he's not about that life. He doesn't really like Lee or whatever. So I understand that.
Starting point is 00:35:46 I take accountability for that. But for me, it wasn't even about, I didn't care about winning. Like, genuinely, I didn't care about winning. Like, what's 50K? Yeah. Like, what's 100K, really? I can make that. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:35:59 That's minor. I just wanted to go in for the experience. And if I found someone I fucked with, I wanted to continue and see how it blossomed outside. I told, I even said to Leah, because there was a point where I was really, like, getting agitated. And I said to her, I was like, look, I like you a lot and I know that I'm going to speak to you outside of here.
Starting point is 00:36:15 So you're on the dip because I'm feeling the dip. And it was a producer that was like, me, go, just run it through. Like, just stay to be in. There's no point cutting out. Now, what's the, like, you know, what's the, like, I wanted to leave. I wanted to be out. Because of the phone or why? You're like, I need my phone.
Starting point is 00:36:29 I didn't care about my phone. I could, I could, I could throw my phone away right now if I weren't making money. So what made you want to leave? There were, I was just getting frustrated. Like, it was just, it's the drum. and the constant like pouring fuel into the fire of drama like like people would get agitated over the most minor things people would forget how they were like a couple days ago and yeah act like their actions prior didn't equate to certain things that are happening in the present
Starting point is 00:36:59 um and i i just i just it it was it was the the dumb arguments that i was just they're like well what is this and after like you know you have the non-islanders in your ear egging things on and like sort of stirring pots to make you think that what's happening outside is what's happening in another area is one thing when in actuality was a completely different thing if you get what I'm saying like yeah kind of like um like Miguel like so you know you don't know what's going on back in the villa like they're doing their thing at the end of day like you don't want to be an idiot and not doing it you know what I'm saying then you're there like oh fuck like I don't want to like a dickhead like my pride don't let me do that because you're not seeing everything no yeah
Starting point is 00:37:44 and then like even find like it wasn't until art like really like the the bad shit i found out after after leaving like lia was telling me like some people like some of the crew working were telling her some things that weren't true yeah some things that i said that weren't true trying to make a believe that I wouldn't really like and I was like raw crazy and other things that I probably shouldn't say just because, you know. Fair, fair, fair.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Yeah, but yeah, it was, there was a few things that I was like, yeah, yeah. So you get like, you do this two months and then you get your phone and you look at your phone and you look at your following or whatever and you're like, holy shit, right? That has to be your reaction. It was, I remember getting my phone.
Starting point is 00:38:36 phone back I was kind of nervous kind of nervous just because of like the nervous and I weren't I was just more excited about seeing my family and speaking to them and my boys and like calling up CSB and be like yo what's good um going to a real gym going to a real gym which I didn't do for a while after the shit um but yeah I remember turning that phone on moment the internet hit like that I left my phone for a second I literally just put it aside and I was I'm gonna go back I'm gonna go to that second
Starting point is 00:39:10 it was just mad and I look at my thing I'm like fuck like your DMs just got it it's probably just all females yeah I can't relate to that at all my audience is all dude so it's like
Starting point is 00:39:22 you know what's mad as well like when I went when I went into the villa I think my audience was like 70% male yeah now it's 98% women Oh, it's crazy. My audience forever has been 98% male. Really? Yeah, so I cannot relate to what you.
Starting point is 00:39:37 That's a fitness life for you, man. No, I'm cool. That's fine. It's cool. Hey, but that's a good target audience. That's healthy, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's dope. I wouldn't change it for anything.
Starting point is 00:39:44 So you never, you never got on the DMs and was like, hmm. Nah, I can only say it. I've never, never been, I ain't that guy. Like, when I'm, when I'm committed, I'm committed. I've always been like that. Even though, were there any crazy blue checks that jumped in there? Like, any, like, celebrity blue checks? You were like, man?
Starting point is 00:40:00 You know what's mad? Like, I've never really been into like the celebrity culture, like pop culture and all that stuff. So I never really knew Nate. Like I had like a couple NBA players. Like I bumped into a Rams game. They're like, Miguel, I actually DM'd you, but you aired it. And I was like, oh, really?
Starting point is 00:40:18 Shit, my bad, dude. And he's like, yeah, I play for the nuggets. I was like, oh shit, dope. Like, how's it going? But I met some cool people called Carl Anthony Towns. He's a fucking amazing person. Yeah. Um, him and Jordan, his, his girlfriend, like, really good people. Um, we chilled a lot.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Uh, yeah, I don't really, I'm, I don't really go on my DMs too much, to be honest. So, like, if you do send me a DM, I apologize. I do try to go through it. Um, and like, you know, respond to the ones that make sense. Um, but yeah, I'm rarely in my DMs. I'm either, like, working on content in my emails or, yeah, like that. Or I'm in the real world. Are you, would you say you're like a gel? Are you a jealous boy for? friend or huh? Nah, I wouldn't say I'm jealous. She's not like, yo, because she got to get DM by everybody.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Oh, yeah, like, people were, what was it? Like, there was a copy where, like, I think Nick Cannon was in there at the ends or some shit or, like, followed or followed her. And then people were messaging me, like, Miguel, be careful. Like, Nick Cannon's in there. I'm like, boy, he can try. Yeah. But you think if he got more follows than me, he's got something.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Anyone could try. Anyone could try. Anyone can try. But, like, I feel like, I know, I know who Leah is. Yeah. And she knows who I am. Like, I'm not worried at all. Dude, I wonder how, like, so you really love her?
Starting point is 00:41:33 Oh, yeah, yeah. I wonder how this age is like, what if you guys actually end up together? That would be crazy. I mean, we've been living with each other, like, since we left. It's been like four or five months now. Yeah. We haven't been apart. Every day.
Starting point is 00:41:45 Every day. Sleep together, weight together. Go gym together. Like, we do everything together. Like, movies, like, today she was like, me God, the house is a bit messy. I'm like, yeah, I'm sorry. Like, just because of it.
Starting point is 00:41:59 You know, being a boy, but we, like, I'm pretty, that being said, I'm pretty clean. I'm a clean. I'm a well domesticated man. Fair, great. But like, um, we, we get along so well. And like, if, if we do have like a slight, um, disagreement, it's just that. It's just a disagreement. We patch out real cool.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Yeah. What's the, what's, have you had, had any, like, crazy interactions in, like, when you go do stuff in, in real life, like, people go to the movies, like, people get all excited or. A girl came up to me earlier crying once. That was crazy. About what? Like, she was like, oh my God, it's really, just like, bawling, bro. Like, when I say, like, she couldn't speak.
Starting point is 00:42:40 She was having, like, I thought she was going to have a panic attack. Like, I was actually like, it relaxed, it's okay. Obviously, she's getting crazy over Leah as well, because Leah's like, you know, the people princess. And she's like, bawling, crying. I'm like, yo, even when I was in New York as well, I was shooting for In is Free. And I had, like, this girl come up to me, like, literally like, shaking, like, can I take a picture of you? Like, she had a phone like that, shaking.
Starting point is 00:43:01 Unless you grab the result. It's okay, relax. Like you're good. But like, yeah, it's just mad, sweet. Like the love and like how like, um, connected people felt to us on TV. Yeah. I think that's what it is. I think the reason why it took us so well is that they felt, uh, they would, they could relate
Starting point is 00:43:22 to who we were. It was just ourselves. We were just authentic. Yeah. Well, I'm just, I mean, I keep seeing it more and more like as the internet should's because I've been doing it for so long, so I have a certain perspective of it. But like, for example, the live stream stuff being like, I don't know if you've seen stuff like that, but the live streaming stuff is like the most popular stuff right now.
Starting point is 00:43:40 People are the most engaged with those sort of creators. And I think it comes down to the same thing you said right now, which is like people who are just really actually themselves and authentic. And that's why people have a lot of, because there's so many people now doing this like social media, age is like, oh, everyone's thinking like, I want to do this. I want to be in fitness or I want to be in whatever. or modeling, whatever it is or just use the internet
Starting point is 00:44:02 that like the creators who tend to stick now are not just ones who do certain things they're just like they're genuine in how they do them. Because it's like, I think back in the day when you'd see like a celebrity
Starting point is 00:44:16 like an actor or like a report, I don't know, something big. Yeah. You look at them and you be like they seem so far out of reach. Like they are such a perfect character. The way they're,
Starting point is 00:44:28 they're, they clean. themselves up the way they speak, the way they, you know what I mean? People see me, I'm in a du rag and a wife beer. That's how you are for sure. That's literally how I am. Like, I'm not going to switch that up anytime soon. Like, people be like, oh, when you dress like this, it's like, I'm not a Barbie dog.
Starting point is 00:44:44 You can't tell me how I'm going to dress. I'm going to dress how I'm going to just how I feel comfortable. And like, I'm going to speak the way I speak. I'm not going to change the way I articulate. I'm going to, you know, I might pick my nose one time. You know what I'm saying? Like, we are just human. And I think that's what people really resonate with is like, it's that.
Starting point is 00:44:59 these are such familiar characters. And I guess it's that kind of like, if they can do it, I can do it type thing. Or if like, if they've gone through a hardship, they're sort of showing me how to go through that hardship in a way that, you know, makes sense. Like, it's just whatever's relatable. And I think that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:45:20 It's just like you can relate to the person. They're a successful person. It drives you to be successful. Yeah. Yeah, I think that's just what it is. like it's not it's not some made up character to look pretty for the camera you know i mean it's just a dude or a chick being themselves and they're successful doing it yeah proving that you could be just yourself and be successful doing you yeah absolutely i mean and i think like i said i think that's why
Starting point is 00:45:46 people because it is just being like oh parts either parts of you they feel like oh i'm similar to him or the girl's thinking like oh i like this in the relationship or i'm like that in a relationship just just feeling like they're connected to it. And it's just cool to see how like the thing that keeps kind of sort of coming back and becoming relevant on the internet is and are those people that are just like, this is me. And I like, I love to see that because like you said before, it was the buttoned up, the fancy celebrities and all these people that like you'd look
Starting point is 00:46:16 to, but you never really had a connection with. And that sort of thing is kind of dying. Yep. I don't know if you saw recently. I mean, you're not in USA politics or anything, but like how they had all these endorsements for the Democratic Party and this isn't political at all just the fact that they had like Beyonce and like all these mainstream very very successful famous people all endorse someone but like a lot of people are like what was and what does that actually mean it's like
Starting point is 00:46:40 you can get all these people in there but it's like we don't care yeah I think especially when it comes to politics I'm not going to speak too much on politics for sure I don't know nothing about it really but um when it's politics you can't bring celebrities just to make an image and you know target a certain demographic or an audience you need to have knowledge you need to be wise you know and it's also interesting that you don't have a real connect i think because you don't have a real connection with those people at that level because they're not social media people like they don't they're not making vlogs being like hey this what i'm doing with my life and you're not posting tic talks that are like personal so the people don't have that connection if that person
Starting point is 00:47:16 did all those things then the person be like oh actually i'm like more connected to you so maybe then I'd listen or I'd be more like apt to like want to agree with you on whatever political bullshit then maybe but it's like that that that's just bringing a person in there for the sake of it yeah just because they got a big name yeah it's interesting it's really it's just how social media has really changed the world on a crazy degree the ones that are the ones that lost the ones that have that you know like I said look pretty and whatever for the cam they get called out later on and then they look like biggest dicker you know what I mean yeah it is literally just good people lost yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:47:52 fake ones don't yeah and that's it's so i just love seeing that i love seeing that on the internet because it's like damn this is fucking is how it should be 100% like i think uh the the age of like the age of puppeteer like of this whole puppet yeah master and like the puppets themselves is dying out for sure you're getting real people real personalities authentic personalities gaining success and becoming the true influencers. And that whole thing, influencer as well is literally just like, it's not like you're going out the way
Starting point is 00:48:29 telling people like, this is what you should do, this what you shouldn't do. You know what I'm saying? It's like good people just doing themselves and people find are motivated by that. Exactly, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Yeah. I think that's what's taking over right now and it's beautiful to see. Yeah. So do you and Leah ever do anything business-wise together? Obviously, like I'm sure people probably hit you up and trying to do brand deals and shit together, but have you ever thought about stuff like that with her?
Starting point is 00:48:50 Yeah, I think, I definitely see us doing something like that I definitely see us doing something like that I think right now where it's been so soon after the show she's got so much going on and I've got a bunch of things that I'm working on as well and things that I'm doing
Starting point is 00:49:04 we haven't really been able to merge the two but I think definitely at some point down the line we're gonna I've definitely brought up a couple ideas to her that she's interested in or that she's like yeah she can hear it so at some point I definitely see us doing something together
Starting point is 00:49:20 Yeah, it'll be cool. But you see you're, you seem to be most, obviously modeling is the thing you like to do and, you know, you probably do well at it, but you seem to be really interested in fitness. Is that something you want to pursue further? Yeah, 1,000% like it's helped me out a lot and it's what I know. So that's why, for instance, when I said like the clothing thing that I'm doing, that's why it's going down the fitness route, opposed to like high fashion and shit like that because I think fitness is timeless.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Yeah. Fitness, you know what I'm saying? And it, you can go along with the times. Yeah, and it never, I see what you're saying. It's always just new people coming in and being engaged with it. Right. And it's, like I said, it's what I know. Like, so, like, I know how I want to dress in the gym.
Starting point is 00:50:04 I know what materials feel right. I know what equipment I want to use, what wrist routes, how I, like, it's just what I know. So that's the route I want to go down, 1,000%. So, like, I'm sort of, like, in the phase of, like, rebuilding. my strength and body and building a brand alongside it as well i think i just tore my fucking chest today you're lying swear bro dude that's the fucking worst and it's and it's i've never been injured like that thankfully i've never had but i've heard that bit well i actually tore like i i tore something i didn't tear it off i know i obviously i didn't tear it off because i would
Starting point is 00:50:38 i would for sure have felt it like be completely off but i was streaming with fandom and and i put like 365 and i had it done it for a while because truthfully i had been out of like my grind for like three months consistently. So getting back, I still feel strong. So I did 365. And it was really easy to one rep easy. And then I went down to like pause another one and it was going to press. I was like jokingly being like looking at the camera like, you know, trying to fucking gas it up because I knew what was on the street. When you fuck around, you find out, boy. I did. I found out. And I was like this. I swear I was like this. And I was like, oh shit. And I get it off me. And everyone's like, no, no, you're kidding. Everyone thought I was kidding. Because that would never happen.
Starting point is 00:51:14 And I was like, no, I'm dead serious. But I felt it. I heard it go like, Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, oh, that's scary. And now it's, oh, it's so bad. So, when I was big into calisthenics, like, really, like, I was learning how to 360s.
Starting point is 00:51:30 So, like, you know, when you're swinging on the bar and you spin, you grab it? So I just learned how to do that. And I was, like, I'm an idiot. Sometimes I don't warm up. Like, I'll just go straight. That's exactly what I did. So, yeah, I arrive in the calisthenics park. I'm guessing.
Starting point is 00:51:44 Like, yeah, I did it. I've been doing it two days in a row. I'm going to do it again, 360s. I'm going to get sick at it. make a whole routine. So I get there. I just do a couple pull-ups to warm up, just pull-ups. Then I got straight into it.
Starting point is 00:51:55 I did one, lit. Then I'm like, okay, record this one. Second one, I grabbed the bar. And as I grabbed the bar, I just feel like my lap. Yeah. I can't say it was like a tear. It was like a pop. But it wasn't like a joint pop.
Starting point is 00:52:11 It was a muscular pop. Yeah. I went down and I was like, ah. And my cousins saw my face. Like, you're good. I was like, I don't know. know. I went and grabbed the bar again. I'm feeling sore. But I'm like, fuck it. I can keep doing it. Whatever. Go again. Now it's getting worse. I'm like, okay, shit. I'm gonna relax.
Starting point is 00:52:29 Yeah. It wasn't until the next day. I tried to put my arm up. The moment I got here, it was like this instant stabbing burning sensation. I'm really, really not looking forward to tomorrow. Yeah, bro. You know, because I could feel it getting thicker. I'm like, something Something happened. Yeah, like, even just doing this, like, don't feel good. Yeah, you need to get that check because that's, that's going to be a bit. I'm just going to jail. What's your favorite, what's your favorite session to do, chest?
Starting point is 00:52:57 Yeah. That's how I was asking. I was like, right. So now it's all legs now. I got to love legs. You know what I was honestly, I feel like it's a sign. It was a sign because for a while I was. Don't neglect the leg.
Starting point is 00:53:07 I was skipping it a little bit, like a bitch. And so now I'm like, all right. I ain't going to lie to nobody here, in it. The reason why you see me in track suits is because your boy ain't trying to show his legs right now, all right? Let me just be 100% honest about that circumstance. You ain't going to see me take out the full trackie
Starting point is 00:53:23 until I'm happy with my legs. I get it, trust. I respect it. I respect it. No, I'm not going to be the, listen, I'll say it straight. But, like, yeah, I'm working on my legs right now. But it's always a second day after a leg session where I really feel it.
Starting point is 00:53:37 Yeah. Well, that's when the, that's when the, the, the, the, the, the dom sets in. You're like, fuck, I feel this. But, yeah, I'm a little scared for tomorrow. But I was able to, I was cool, because I was like, I was able to do triceps. I was able to do some biceps stuff. So I'm like, all right, I can still hit arms at least. Yeah, that's shit. You know what it is just like shoulder workout. Yeah. Certain arm movements is going to be a bitch. You're going to feel it.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Yeah, I don't even know if I can do shoulder stuff. I'll figure it out. I'm just going to jam it with a bunch of fucking peptides. What's your take on body weight training? I think it's amazing. I mean, as far as like bodybuilding goes, I think it's amazing. It depends on like where you're at, like where your body's at. For me, if I did a ton of calisthenics, I would didn't see a bunch of like gains as far as like muscular gains. I'd probably see like a lot of like tendon ligament strength gain, which is dope because like that adds to if you're going to start doing some bodybuilding stuff, then if your tendons and ligaments are stronger, you're going to be better. Like this probably wouldn't have happened if I know it wouldn't have happened if I had been
Starting point is 00:54:32 more consistent just with my training. But yeah, like you're going to build that strength, whether it's like proprioceptive, which is like you're balancing and like the little muscles you're going to make better. And then overall, like if I'm a skinnier guy and I'm eating enough food, I'm, I'm going to see muscular gains, specifically from like, I mean, the pull-ups are going to develop your back crazy. That's kind of where, because before I started training, I can show you a picture, boy, I was a noodle. I had dreadlocks, skinny as hell.
Starting point is 00:55:00 I actually thought I was like well-toned until I started working out. But like, the way my body developed from just body weight training, I was like, mad. But I didn't notice the moment I hit like a sort of peak, just stayed. Yeah, you can only go so far, like, building-wise. And that's when I started getting into the weights because I was like, okay, I like I want to get slightly bigger. Yeah. And I actually found like it actually helped out a lot. I feel like balancing the weight and body weights and body weights, it changed the whole, like, fitness game for me.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Yeah. Well, I mean, like I said, you develop the small muscles and like the tendons and ligaments that translate to everything. So if you can compound the two with like the heavier weights, more specific trying to build a muscle, it's going to be easier when you go to do that. Calisthenics is amazing. Like it's for sure. And it's one of the easiest things to do, like not. easy as in like it's super easy to do but like you can do it pretty much anywhere if you can get a bar you're people that can do like the launch pushups and shit yeah well i saw you the first thing i
Starting point is 00:55:54 saw which i was like what the fuck this guy can do that was the uh the handstand push up thing and like going into the the night degree yeah that's fucking impressive i don't care who you are yeah so i saw that and i was like okay he like really like if you were just in the gym doing this i'd be like yeah that's whatever that's impressive yeah i kind of when like i said it was during lockdown me my boy was like fuck it let's get into the gym no i tell a lie it was during lockdown my cousins came over and then they were like miggs we just started doing calisthenics and i was like what fuck is that they're younger than me as well quite a bit and then they were in my back garden they started doing handstands and they were like loki getting into a push-up but they would flop it and i was
Starting point is 00:56:32 like okay that's handset that looks piss easy well i'd fall on my ass like non-stop i couldn't hold it i was like how the hell are you not doing this and i felt like a dick hey because i'm like I'm the older cousin. I'm the strong one. You look can't be stronger than me. That's not allowed. So it kind of fueled a fire in me. And so shout out them.
Starting point is 00:56:50 That's what got me into it. And then I was like, I started watching videos of like people like Chris Herria and I just hit him up recently. I want to have him on the pod. He's, bro. That's, I was watching his shit. He's like tutorials of like muscle arts and planches and shit like that. And I was just doing that every day, every day.
Starting point is 00:57:09 And like I was able to start holding planches and shit. And then I'd go to the gym when they opened up, we're like, what the fuck? How can you do that? I was like, oh, it's pretty cool, huh? So then that kind of, that's cool to me as well. You could do muscle ups? Yeah, yeah. Muscle ups.
Starting point is 00:57:22 I can hold a planch a little bit. I'm re-learning my planches. Well, handsstand push-ups, 90-degree push-ups. One thing I can't do, Hephaesto is one thing I want to learn how to do, which is basically like, it's like a reverse muscle up. So you got your arms back here. go down, and then you go back up. Oh. So it's like a pull-up where your arms are behind you.
Starting point is 00:57:48 It's like, literally so you're like... Well, so your feet are horizontal? If you don't want to pull up bar, you go down and put a bar and you can't do that show. It is fucked. It is fucked. That's one thing I want to know how to do, and then a one-arm pull-up. I feel like the one-on pull-pull-up. But would you hold the hand?
Starting point is 00:58:07 No. Okay, because I think that's easy. Yeah, holding the hand is piss easy. I actually got a friend, the boy that's coming up. bro this guy don't go gym like he does a couple home workouts this guy can do like three four one-arm pull-ups no horn an hand is he a shorter guy yeah okay so it helps i'm like i'm trying to make myself feel better about not being able to do it he's shorter fuck that don't count he's got he's got less weight on him so he's fucking but uh the fact that he can do it is just
Starting point is 00:58:31 frustrated no it's hard no matter what like he caught like i don't think he can even do like muscle he just don't how to do a muscle but then he'll be doing one-on-put-as like how the hell can you do that well some people are just good at random shit yeah like i I was good at randomly, like, the Olympic lifts. I'm good at the muscle up because I never practiced it. I was just like, easy, yeah. I always be impressed with, like, bigger guys can do muscle loss because that's not easy at too.
Starting point is 00:58:52 Yeah, because I, and those things were always things that I just saw once or twice, and I was like, oh, I can do that. And then once I was, and once you do a muscle up, you kind of, you know, oh, it's that feeling. So that, um, technique. Yeah, it's all technique. So since I was able to do that, I was like, oh, that's cool. So certain things I was able to do that was really cool.
Starting point is 00:59:09 But yeah, certain things like the one arm thing, I could hold obviously, but I don't know. It's kind of like a chin up, but yeah, I respect. There's one dude I know, his name's Ozzy, but that boy would be doing Hephaestos, like, repping him, the back arm thing. And he could do it into like a muscle. So he'll go all the way down, go up. I'm like, boy, he's a big boy as well. So do you have like a specific body goal that you, is it like a physique you like want to be
Starting point is 00:59:34 close, not like, obviously? Oh, I want to be slightly bigger than I am now, especially my legs. my noodles did get a bit chunky um but because like for modeling it gets kind of tricky yeah at this point i'm not too fast about the modeling thing like i've done modeling yeah i've been i've done that since i was 17 i got into it in 27 now that's 10 years i'm like modeling yeah fuck that in and out so like i'm i'm happy i've done my shit i've done catwalk magazines all of that done that shit so it's like leaven up for that so i ain't you doing catwalk shit isn't that weird Don't you feel weird?
Starting point is 01:00:06 It's just like you're just a dude just like walk in? The first time I did it, it was definitely weird. It was excited. I done a runway with Little Pete. Oh, wait. What the fuck? In Milan, I've done a runway with Little Pete. And I'm funny enough.
Starting point is 01:00:18 So, it was backstage. This is for Marcello Blon. It was a Marcelo Blon runway in Milan, one of the best runways I've done. And we was backstage and I was, am. This is my first fashion show in Milan. So how old are you here? She, I think I was like. 18 or 19?
Starting point is 01:00:36 Yeah, yeah. Put it, 18, 19. So we're backstage, I'm gassed. And then I just started dancing because there's music playing. I was dancing in the wrong way. Everyone's like mad still and being like militant
Starting point is 01:00:47 and I'm just fucking around. I'm just like being goofy. And then he sees me and he starts dancing with me and we're like dancing each other up. And then after the runway, I'm like, yo, what's your name? He goes, oh, my name's Pete.
Starting point is 01:00:57 I was like, oh, swear, lit. My name's Miguel. I was like, that's a pretty cool name. Pete. I fuck with it. And then he stood outside. I was smoking. and I was sitting outside of him and smoked a little, but, uh, outside while he was smoking.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Yeah. And, uh, and, uh, yeah, ended the conversation there. He invited me out. He was going, like, to his after party and I just didn't go. And then I think it was like a week, five days later or something, one of my home girls hits me up. And she's like, Miggs, you done that, that my sell a bit on runway in it i was like yeah she goes you know you did the runway with little p i said little who and then i found out i was actually listening to his music i just didn't clock like yeah what's that what's that song um all my life i did that yeah take that shit or something that yeah yeah i've been listening to his music and i'll just dab the guy up you had no idea i had no idea it was him he was cool though mad cool yeah mad mad yeah r i p like rip like for real
Starting point is 01:01:58 but he was a really cool guy like everyone that he was the only one that was vibed to me like Yeah, it's funny. Because everyone's probably, they probably, they think they have to be serious because like, oh, they're not going to get invited back or whatever the fuck, right? Yeah. Like, I think they are slight nerves and then there's ego. You know what I mean? I definitely think some people are just like nervous and they don't really know like they want
Starting point is 01:02:19 to, like said, be a type of way so they get it again. But I remember I actually got that job because I was going around for castings and everyone was like, like suited up or just like look that part. I was going around shirtless in the dungarees the one strap and I had a watermelon in a bag and I was just going around with a water melon
Starting point is 01:02:41 like a sliced watermelon in one hand and my modelling book in another hand shirtless in dungarees I actually nearly got told her father please because you can't walk around shirtless or some reason that's what we put the one strap on because that was okay
Starting point is 01:02:52 and then stupid they I remember I was I went to the line and people were just going in and out in and out the cue was huge It was literally like the cue for the casting went around the entire block. Massive line.
Starting point is 01:03:08 To get into this runway thing. To be to audition. To be selected. Yeah. And potentially get selected. Huge. And I was like, man, I want to go home. I've been in this life for ages, but fuck. I'm going to stay.
Starting point is 01:03:18 So I stayed. People going in now. I go in. First thing in the casting already goes, that's an interesting fit. I said, yeah, it's hot, man. Need to be cool. And they did, they did, they did ask me to do a little walk. I do my walk.
Starting point is 01:03:32 my thing. Then they put me in some garms. I was like, oh, I've been here a little bit longer than everyone else already. I like that. Put me some clothes. That same day, they called me up. Yeah, you got the job.
Starting point is 01:03:42 And then when I went there, they were like, you know, we just, we picked you just because of your fit. They literally said they picked me just because of my fit. I was just walking around of a watermelon. Like a half watermelon? It was like a good, it was like a good, like a good, like, you were just eating it or what? Yeah, I was just like, every time like pick up,
Starting point is 01:03:59 eat. Got to say hydrant. It was a huge water melon. It was a massive watermelon. But, like, yeah, you got to stay hydrated out in the base. It was hot. It was summer. Milan's summer is not a joke.
Starting point is 01:04:07 It actually does get really hot. And, like, I had, like, nothing. Because I thought it was going to be cold. I had nothing with jeans, jumpers and shit. So the Lungarees actually came in clutch. What's the coolest place you've traveled before the show and then since the show? I guess maybe sense maybe not so many places because you've been back. Spain is fucking dope.
Starting point is 01:04:26 Spain's nice. That was really cool. Like, just, like, living out there and just because I was living right next to the beach. So that was really cool. I'd go to like the park out there's like a little Cali Park, train there, walk to work. It was like an hour walk, but because you're walking past the ocean, it was just very nice. Morocco is really dope. I love Morocco.
Starting point is 01:04:46 You never been Morocco? No, no. Really cool. I've only gone like with family. So I really, because my dad's from Morocco. So I want to go with my boys and shit and actually like live it up properly. I love Portugal. These aren't really like exciting, like out there places, but I love Portugal.
Starting point is 01:04:59 I guess for you guys because it's not easy to get out of the States. something. Yeah. It'd be difficult, right? Yeah, the UK is like, for sure, as far as traveling goes, it's just so much more accessible. Everything's so much closer. I guess in comparison. Yeah, no, it's true. I didn't deep that until I came out here, but like, you guys are
Starting point is 01:05:16 far from everything else, boy. You really are stuck in your own little world. Would you live out here? I'm going to. You're full time out here. I'm working on my visa right now. Yeah. Everyone's trolling me because they're like, oh, he's been out of he, but he's still working on the visa. I have still
Starting point is 01:05:29 working on my visa. It's not, it's not a straight and an easy process, but that's getting done. I want to live here. I love States. I love L.A., especially like the Calabasasasas. That's a nice side. Oh, yeah, it's nice out here. Woodland Hills is cool.
Starting point is 01:05:43 I like it. Yeah, it's nice out here. It's really nice. It's crazy because when I first moved out here fucking 15 years ago, I lived in like Fullerton, Orange County, and I lived all throughout the places. And I remember I had a buddy who had opened like a nutrition store out here in Woodland Hills.
Starting point is 01:05:59 And I came up here and I was like, this place suck. This place is terrible. I was like, because where I was from prior, and obviously San Francisco down to Orange County, like the area and the school, I went to Cal State Fullerton. I, like, loved it so much. And there was so much stuff happening. And then I drove up here to Woodland Hills. And I had a few girlfriends at the time, like, not a few girlfriends at the time.
Starting point is 01:06:19 I had a few girlfriends throughout my time where I would show up. As he does. As he does, as you go. Yeah, no, no, no. A couple of years. I didn't like it. I didn't like it. And I remember I came all around to Woodland Hills because he's like, I lived with
Starting point is 01:06:30 him. Like I lived on his floor at one point, really good friend of mine. And it's so funny, and I think back because I came out here and I'm like, obviously like, you know, I'm happy for my boy. He just opened a store and like I'm proud of him. I was sad because like he didn't want me to live, like move with him here. But then when I came out to visit him here, because I started to figure my life out. He would take it for himself. Yeah, no, he was just like, I think I was kind of dirty probably at the time. And he was like, yeah, bro, like, you know, I love you and stuff. Not real shit. I swear to God. Not dirty just like I was living. I was probably dirty. Like I'm living in his house
Starting point is 01:07:01 I was selling underwear and shit Yeah we were living together And maybe I wasn't as cleanly as I sure wasn't I'm gonna be honest And so he went and did his own thing And I respect that I was a little butt hurt But then when I came to visit him I remember being like man this place sucks
Starting point is 01:07:15 I wouldn't want to live out here And then ironically enough I opened my gym Obviously like I told you The gym's been open too close We've been for eight years The first location was 10 seconds from where he was Oh mad
Starting point is 01:07:27 Years later It was such a weird moment funny you didn't want to be out here now with neighbors yeah and i and oh he moved since but but i love this fucking area it's so nice it's like everything is just so accessible you got like the shops restaurants and shit and it's just mad quite like compared to west hollywood yeah that i remember the first time i went there it was just before the show i was crashing my boy but um take the uber ride from lax to hollywood and the guy goes yeah we're here i'm like well yeah yeah like he's like yeah we're here. I'm like, are you sure this is Hollywood? Like, we're in Vine Street right now. Hollywood.
Starting point is 01:08:02 He goes, yeah. I said, this does not look like it does on TV. Yeah. Yeah. It's a lie. They really, I swear, bro. They claim the fuck out of that shit on TV. Hollywood looks so good on TV. Yeah, it's really trash. It's crazy. People literally have this perception of what it's like. And they're like, I'm going to go to L.A. and move to Hollywood. It's like, you really don't want to do that. I can't tell you how many people I've had that conversation with who weren't from here. we're like, I'm going to move out here and I was like, don't live here. And they're like, no, no, no, this is L.A.
Starting point is 01:08:30 It's like downtown even. It's not, it's not it. We ought to like let people know surrounding areas. Yeah, go to the valley. You know what I'm saying? Like, what's that beach? A really nice beach. Santa Monica.
Starting point is 01:08:44 Santa Monica. Yeah. That's cool. Venice. Venice Beach. That's the one I was thinking of. Yeah. That one is nice.
Starting point is 01:08:50 But yeah, Hollywood. I remember my second day, like literally wake up. I'm going out to my first casting. Bless her, it was raining, whoring down in rain. There's this woman butt naked in the parking lot outside Chase Bank. Right opposite my boy's crib. I'm literally walking out. She's screaming.
Starting point is 01:09:15 With a shirt in the hand smashing it down. Fed Drive. Stop. Look at her. And they keep going. I was like, how are you going to acknowledge? This is public news. like this is yeah they just let it be they don't get i mean it's it's crazy because i don't think it's
Starting point is 01:09:30 they don't give a fuck they're just like it's so much happening like yeah it's a lot it's it's mad like that area of vine street boy there's so much going on there i was yeah it's nuts man i and it's crazy because like the police they can't they can do stuff but it's like they have so many other things that they have to focus on i completely get it and i knew that there was like there's there's a lot so but but you but you like it out here just maybe not live there right now I mean, shit, I'm, I mean, I've been Brickson and shit, Croydon, like, it ain't that deep. Yeah. Like, like, I get, I'm comparing it to certain places of London.
Starting point is 01:10:06 But shit, I just love it. It's just like, I feel like America as a whole has a little bit of everything. You got some tropical areas. You've got real city life. You got rain when it's meant to rain, sun when it's meant to be sunny. You got beaches. Like, there's some, there's a little bit of everything. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:24 London is just London Yeah You got England But everyone goes to London The rest of England is like If you want to go out to the country You might go to like Lake District or something But then it's just like rainy
Starting point is 01:10:34 The whole year round Cloudy and shit And I'm born there I've been there 27 27 years 26 years So I had enough for London Yeah I've always wanted to be in the States
Starting point is 01:10:44 Like that's one thing Since I was a kid I always wanted to be in the States Like I'd watch like I don't know what movies Like certain movies where you see them Go to like high school when I was in primary school
Starting point is 01:10:54 I want to go high school did not pass my GCSE so I did not go high school but one goal of man was to go to like an American college never happened like American pie I watched American pie oh wow classic
Starting point is 01:11:06 bro I watch that shit I'm like I need to live that life that just seems so like we don't have that here so is that what it has to be that that like a lot of places and people want to come to America because of the films
Starting point is 01:11:17 oh yeah yeah it's the lies it's the lies that we are fed That makes it want to go in there. Damn, though, they got a, it's crazy. Hollywood got a lock on, like, just the import of people because they're like, you see it, you're like, oh, I want to live that.
Starting point is 01:11:31 Yeah, man, it's, uh, they do a good job and making it seem pretty, which I'm not going to lie. There is a lot of beauty in America. 100%. So much beauty in America. That's why I want to stay. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:42 But, like, yeah, Hollywood in itself, boy, that's a, that's a fib. That's a big lie right there. Yeah, it's huge lies. Insane. What about Malibu? Have you spent time out there? Not really.
Starting point is 01:11:52 I went there. I went to the, I didn't even go to the beach like that there, but I went to this one restaurant there. It was really nice. It's very, it's very chill over there. Yeah, you got to spend time over there. If you're right, I mean, it's right over the hill from you guys. Yeah. I know, you know what it is? Me, Leah and I just like, we just haven't had time to go and like chill in the beach. And as well, I feel like right now, it wouldn't be as relaxing as we would like it to be. I could show you some beaches where it would be. Oh, yeah? Yeah, yeah. We're super private.
Starting point is 01:12:24 Heavy. Heavy. Yeah. He's like that. But, um, yeah, I think we just haven't, like, we really haven't sat down. I think this week has been the most chill week for me. And then from the 13th, I'm back on it again, like going, I'm flying Texas. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:39 Gonna go to the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fire. I got in mind to that. That's gas. That'll be fun. Um, then I'm going back. Then I'm going to Vegas for Formula One. So there's just like a lot of things happening as well. But definitely.
Starting point is 01:12:52 Following summer, I definitely want to be chilling on the beaches. Yeah, it's so nice, man. What about Miami? You've been out there yet? I'm in Miami. Yeah. The first time I went to America was in Miami. Miami's a whole different vibe.
Starting point is 01:13:05 It completely. Miami is what made me fall in love of America. What part? What part of Miami? We was in... You on Miami Beach? We was on Miami Beach. We weren't far from Muscle Beach.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Okay. It was like a 15-minute walk from Muscle Beach. So you're on the aisle then You're on the aisle where it's like right by the beach Yeah, it was in a pretty cool hotel It was me in CSB And we was just It was there for spring break
Starting point is 01:13:33 March It was crazy Yeah It was so cool It was like The beach itself Mad nice water Warm water as well
Starting point is 01:13:41 Amisphere like y'all are really friendly out here That's what I feel I realize like Compared to in the UK Maybe it was just because it was summer And everyone's on the beach Bro, I swear to God, I think this is a real thing. They're more friendly to you because you have an accent.
Starting point is 01:13:54 Maybe that too. I really believe that like when Americans, your accents, they're like extra nice. I think they're just, you hear it's like different. I don't know why. Yeah, I have people coming up to me like, you're exotic. I'm like, I'm from London, bro. Something exotic about that. You're more exotic than me.
Starting point is 01:14:09 Just the accent, though. Yeah. One thing that fucked me up was on the menus, like when you, when you order food, the tax isn't included in the price. so like when you get that bill yeah yeah you're like my calculations are not adding up what about when they want to tip for everything
Starting point is 01:14:28 and then the tip on top see the thing is you got service charge and then you want tip on top and I'm like I'm a tipper I'll tip I always tip but the demand for it was a bit crazy that's what flew me off and I said that as a joke
Starting point is 01:14:42 because we all knew like the tipping culture here is serious so I made a joke to the way I was like can you take the service charge off and I swear that guy looked at me like he wanted to kill me he just looked straight did me in the eye
Starting point is 01:14:53 and I was like I looked down I'm just joking he goes that's the worst part though is like the expectation of it is fuck where it's like
Starting point is 01:15:02 where it's like the whole point of a tip is like you did a good job I appreciate the services I'm gonna pay 100% pay more but like I've been seeing videos of like
Starting point is 01:15:11 DoorDash cans and shit where like they spat into someone's food or like they took food away or like they wrote a bad note inside because they thought they didn't get a tip I'm like the audacity, breath.
Starting point is 01:15:21 Yeah, no, it's out of control here. It's crazy. It's out of control. I get it. You gotta get your bread, but fuck me. If you don't get a tip, don't cry about it, bro. Yeah. Well, also the DoorDash shit's weird because it's like, or the postmates, whatever, it's like,
Starting point is 01:15:33 they want you to tip before the food even gets there. And they want you to tip 10% as if like, like, 10% like a normal tip, 15% normal tip where if I sat down and I ate a meal and someone like gave me water or some shit. I mean, I was shit, when I was, especially when I was working in Spain, boy, I'd be lucky to get five. pound yeah lucky i'm working a full shift i've been shaking cocktails all day brad i'd be lucky to walk away five pounds did they so did they pay more just base base salary you get minimum wage and then you get some tip maybe yeah it's weird i don't know this the weird in the in the in the uk especially you like you'll get your minimum wage and then tipping coach in the uk in about like you
Starting point is 01:16:12 you feel you feel blessed when someone gives you a good tip yeah it's weird it's got twisted out here whatever although at one time shout out to the crypto people i was working at this place called um they don't need to know they don't need a shout out i was working at this one this one hotel uh i was doing bar and this one donnie he came up and he was like listen mate if you guys keep the bar open for another five hours brain of mind it's already like midnight 11 30 he was like if you keep the bar open for another five hours i'll tip you a hundred dollars every hour. Oh yeah. And I was like, I looked at him. I looked at my manager and he was like, it's up to you guys. I said, gee, I'm trying to get paid. Yeah. Yeah. So we stay open. We
Starting point is 01:16:57 didn't even stay open another. We, he only stayed there an extra hour and a half. That man because he was so drunk and it was like a crypto guy. He owed his own, he owned his own crypto currency and shit. I walked out with nearly 2K. Yeah, he was feeling good. He was, right. And you know what's mad? The other bar, so there was another bartender with me and two waitresses. The waitresses didn't get asked to stay,
Starting point is 01:17:23 but they wanted to stay hoping they'll get a little tip if they're like, you know, give him some drink, give the drinks over to him. He just fucked with me. So I was making him his drinks. My manager actually made him the first drink
Starting point is 01:17:34 didn't get a tip. I made him a drink. I like that. Tip me. Well, what the fuck? Then my manager, I think he got like, sorry like 600.
Starting point is 01:17:43 He still got a good tip. He got something like 600. I got 2K. Did he crypto it? He just kept crypto. After he was like, he was doing this gambling thing on his phone. He was like, he was like, give me a number. I'm not joking.
Starting point is 01:17:56 I think that man made about, I think he swiped and he made 50K in front of me. Just like a little, little bet. He did a little bit, swiped and he made 50K out. You're making money today, give some to me. You want me some bread. That's funny. When was this before all the stuff? Obviously.
Starting point is 01:18:12 Oh yeah, way before. Way before. This is like. So you worked at a bar for a long time? Yeah, I've been doing a bar. bro, I've done, like, everything. I was a handyman for a little bit, a barman, a waiter,
Starting point is 01:18:22 you call it a busboy, like kitchen porter. Yeah. What else? I've done acting, done modeling. You're basically Johnny Sins, dude. Dude, I've done everything. Like, I get bored. I've done everything.
Starting point is 01:18:33 Like, this is what I'm saying, like, I just try shit. I get bored, I do. I want to try shit. Like, I nearly got into, like, set construction for movies and shit. My boys nearly got me into that. But I was like, nah, I can't be asked for that shit. So what's your number?
Starting point is 01:18:46 one goal right now. Fitness shit. Fitness is my like my main objective. Like really taking that seriously. Working on my, my brand that I mentioned. Yeah. And yeah, just scaling. So it's just literally fitness and my brand right now.
Starting point is 01:19:05 Yeah. We should do a workout video one of these days. Oh yeah, I'm with it. This is what I do, you know? 100%. I'd love that. I can see how many muscles you can do. Yeah, we're going to wait until this is good.
Starting point is 01:19:15 Yeah. Oh, shit. because that's scary. I'll know tomorrow morning. I'm really sad about this. Like, I'm trying to hide it. It's the worst.
Starting point is 01:19:23 Listen, I wish you quick recovery. Yeah, I'm gonna fucking just be in the cold plunge all night. Yeah. You caught that in your gym, isn't it? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:29 I'm gonna do that tomorrow. Yeah, it's, it's into the right. Yeah, I'm gonna do that. I have some here too. The same one I have here,
Starting point is 01:19:35 I have there. I love it. Because I put my hand. That shit cold as fuck. Yeah. It's supposed to be. Yeah. Have you done that before?
Starting point is 01:19:41 A couple of times. I went Mexico recently. Bro, Every time. It squeezed the muscles, the lactic acid gets squeezed down. Yeah, I have a cold plunge here and a hot plunge. Like, I just have the same unit, but one's hot, one's cold. And I got a sauna.
Starting point is 01:19:56 I used to love doing like a sauna to cold plunge. Yeah. That was like my old mat. I doubled it. When I was in LA, we had an LA Fitness near my boys' crib and they had like a steam room and a cold plunge. I always jump in and out. Love that shit.
Starting point is 01:20:09 Well, we got to get a workout in. Obviously, I love seeing you at zoo. Anything I can help you with, let me know. Appreciate it, bro. Thank you for coming on for real. Starting point is 01:20:31 it's i want to continue opening more gyms so right now we're working on the zoo in miami like i told you and then once that is set i think maybe like a year or seven months once it's been open i'll probably start working on i'm going to start working on Vegas so i want to go to Miami Vegas, and then I want to go Texas. Heavy. And then somewhere like Nashville, because like I think ultimately like where I want to live, obviously I want to have a,
Starting point is 01:20:55 I want to have zoo wherever I go and wherever I stay. I think wherever I want to live in the long term is like a place probably more like Nashville or Texas. It's just like a little more, I love California. I've been here for a very long time and I just kind of want like a little more laid back. I'm looking for the great Texas.
Starting point is 01:21:11 Are you going to the thing? No, I'm supposed to go to Atlanta for a price picks event oh heavy yeah so i'm gonna go to atlanta for there they have like a championship thing every year where they like give away a ton of money and stuff so i'm going there with a bunch of other creators that's why because i got invited to that but yeah i got to go to the prize picks thing because i committed to that prior so yeah you go there we go dude yeah but i appreciate you man thank you for your time no you're a good dude it's clear like even the conversations i have with you just you know in person and in iRL not on the internet not making content
