What is up guys, it's Andy Priscilla and this is the show for the realest. Say goodbye to
the lies, the fakeness and delusionsusions of modern society. And welcome to motherfucking reality.
Guys, today I'm going to give you something new, which is what I talked about, I think, at least a couple times over the last couple of weeks.
I can't remember. I've been pretty busy.
But today, anyway, we have a new format.
DJ here is going to ask me three questions, I'm going to provide hopefully only three answers.
But these questions come from you guys. These are questions that we get submitted to the website.
These are questions that come through on DMs either to DJ or myself that we just don't get
a chance to really answer in the normal show format. So we kind of thought,
hey, this would be cool to do, help us get a little bit more, you know, information shared
your way that might help you with some things. And, you know, we'll have some fun with it too.
So we're going to try it out. We'll see how it goes. It might be fucking terrible and you might
hate it. I don't even know yet because we haven't even really started this yet. So that's what we're going to do. If you like the show, if you get something out of it,
if it helped you, you know, figure some shit out, if it made you think, if it made you laugh,
give us a share. That's how we grow the show. You know, we don't bombard you with a bunch of ads.
We kind of get right into it and give you the content that is going to hopefully make you
better in some way, shape, or form.
So with that being said, I got DJ here.
What's up, dude?
What's going on, man?
What are we going to do here?
We're going to answer some fucking questions.
All right.
So we talked about the format.
We literally just figured this show out about 10 minutes ago in the locker room.
Yeah.
So it's still going to be fucking fire.
Yeah, for sure.
Yeah, no doubt but basically
we were trying to decide and i'm just gonna run through so they can hear what we're thinking hey
andy you want to answer some questions yeah that's one question that's one so you only get to ask so
here's the rules here's the fucking rules dj gets to ask me three questions and that might take me
three minutes to answer or it might take me three minutes to answer,
or it might take me 45 minutes to answer, but I'm going to answer the three questions. Okay.
And there's no time limit on this. Uh, I don't know if it's going to be short. I don't know
if it's going to be long. I guess it depends on, uh, how much I want to hear myself talk today.
So, so I look, we're just winging it over here. Motherfuckers. Hey,
yeah.
All right.
So,
so you're starting.
Yeah.
This is how it's going to work.
Let's get it.
Why don't you guys take notes on how this is going to work so we can repeat it.
All right.
All right.
So,
so the first question,
this is a 75 hard question,
right?
So,
you know,
a lot of people,
I've seen this a lot in the questions I got.
I have kids.
I work a full time job.
How will I have time to do 75 hard? So you've been doing the Live Hard program for a few years,
right? How do you manage your time with 75 hard and running multiple successful businesses at the
same time? Yeah. So that's definitely probably one of the more common questions that people have,
right? You look at the program, you say, oh, man, I got to do all these things that I'm not currently doing. And I currently don't have time to get what I'm currently
doing done. So people freak out a little bit, but here's what the thing that you have to understand
is. Okay. You're wasting a whole lot of fucking time and you just aren't aware of it yet. So the
one thing that I would, and you're going to, you're sitting there right now. I promise you don't know my life, motherfucker. I am busier than you. I promise you this. Okay.
I am on call literally 24 hours a day from the time that I wake up till the time I go to bed.
It's been that way for 20 something years. I do a lot of shit. I run a lot of different things
and I'm able to get it done. And so are
thousands and thousands and thousands of other people just like you who have the same situation
you have. See, as humans, we have this thing where we try to make our situation feel like it's unique
so that we can kind of let ourselves off the hook when it comes time to really put the rubber to the
road. You know what I'm saying? So the thing that you're going to learn through this program
is that when you exercise discipline on a daily basis
in terms of how you work your day and what you get done,
you will actually end up on 75 hard with way more free time
than what you have right now.
And you're sitting there, yeah, fucking right.
Just wait, dude. Just wait. Okay. Just do it and you'll figure it out. This is one of the key
components of the program. And if you talk to anybody who's done the program, they will tell
you that what I'm saying is true. Yes, you will be busy, but you will also be organized and you will be consistent. And in
between the organization and consistency, you will discover a whole lot of time that you wasted doing
meaningless shit. Because to even accomplish this program, you have to be focused. You have to be
dedicated. You have to understand what's coming down the pipe. Otherwise, you fuck it up. So
what you're going to learn,
really the answer to this question, you will learn through the program. Okay. So I can sit
here and tell it to you, but you're really not going to figure it out until you go do it.
So just trust what I'm saying. Trust the tens of thousands of other people who have done this
program and live by it year after year after year. We're doing this now. I think this is the third year.
And there's tens of thousands of people
who are living the Live Hard program.
That's how they live now.
Okay, so.
Well, it's a big revelation.
So Alex, you know, she's been doing 75 hard.
And so it's funny because she,
that was one of the first revelations she's had.
She's like, DJ, I didn't realize
how much time I actually had.
Yeah.
Right. But then there's other points too, too where you know sometimes you you don't you
lose that discipline on your time so like last night we were out on the damn patio at 11 o'clock
at night and she's doing her outdoor workout you know i'm setting up tiki torches and so she was
doing hers outside on the cardio bike at night yeah 11 o'clock yeah but that's the thing though
because like she and she tells me it's funny because she goes to the bitch boys
battle, but it's very, very awesome.
Like you said, you got to go through it.
And like for me, when I went through it, it was easy because I'm with you.
Yeah. I'm going to work
out with you. You know what I'm saying? We'll get it done.
It can definitely be done.
Not only can it be done, bro, it should be
done. Like you guys should
do it because the skills
you gain are not just limited to home
or fitness or the area that you are struggling in right now. These skills, I am 100% convinced
they've, they've grown all, every single one of my companies tremendously. Okay. So this is a
financial gain too, by teaching yourself this sort of discipline. Think about that.
Follow up.
And two, just so on the 75 hard thing, can you just squash this fucking idea of this
weight loss challenge?
Bullshit.
No, because I've said it 4,000 times and motherfuckers don't get it.
Yeah.
It's not a fucking challenge.
Right.
It's a fucking program.
Right.
A challenge is something you do with your fucking Karen office friends and you try not
to eat the cake in the kitchen.
All right. A challenge is doing some tick tock shit. Yeah. A program is something that you put yourself through that is difficult, that you learn things from and gain things from. That's
what this is. OK, this is a mental realignment program is not a fucking challenge. And no matter
what I say, that's people are still going to say that. So
the answer to that question is no. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Cool. All right. So second question. I
appreciate that. I hope you guys like that answer. So this is more of a business question for you. So
let's say, you know, you're, you're, you're an entrepreneur, right? Or you want to try this,
you have this new idea. Okay. And you've been doing it for a couple of years. You've been working on it, right? How do you know when
something's not working out and when you should quote unquote, just give it up? That's a difficult
question. I would say that's more, there's more of an art to that than there is a solid line answer,
okay? But when you get to the point where you legit, so this is where separating emotion from the actual
discipline of practicing business and making decisions is extremely important. Because
if you look at a situation emotionally that's frustrating and you're not where you want to be,
you can oftentimes talk yourself out of it by saying, it's never going to work,
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and give yourself all the negative ammunition you need to shut it down. And that comes from a place of emotion, not logic.
And so when you're frustrated and you're in business and things aren't working out and
they're not going the way that you want them to go and you legitimately can't see it working
when you are not emotional, that's when it's time to change course. But the reason most
people fuck up is because they do that too soon when they're highly charged emotionally.
So they get emotional, they get excited, frustrated, scared, whatever it is, panicked,
and then they fucking change, right? And then every time they do that, they change it. And
what happens is they never give themselves the time
to allow the plan to actually materialize.
And that costs them the plan.
So basically, you know, they end up going from thing to thing to thing
over and over and over and nothing works.
And then they get bitter.
They're like, fuck this.
It doesn't work.
Look, dude, there's only two reasons that you aren't getting where you want
to be. One, you're working the wrong plan or two, you haven't been working the right plan long
enough. Right. All right. So you have to know when to make that decision because it's a very crucial
one. So my suggestion on that situation is take all the emotion off the table. All right. Are you
are you just frustrated? Like, dude, you know better than anyone. Yeah. Fucking three days a week. I want to quit. Yeah. Like DJ's with me 24 hours a day. Pretty much my waking hours. He's right next to me. And he knows this is true. Three of the days out of the fucking seven. I'm like, fuck this. I'm fucking moving to Florida. Fuck. Like, dude, like, that's how it is. But I never it because I love, I love it. And I'm just emotionally frustrated.
Right.
And you guys all know that I just vent and then it doesn't really mean shit.
Right.
But then you go back to running the play.
Yeah.
I go back to running the play immediately.
Right.
And so it sounds like I'm being a bitch, but, and I am, but I'm just venting and I'm still
operating.
So the things that we have to understand is like let's are we really are we just frustrated
and then we're changing or is there a real logical reason to change the plan down the road right and
so that's that's where that's how i would recommend someone making that decision so instead of just
thinking about changing what you're doing change how you're doing it maybe could be there could be
a number of things it could be it could be your entire plan is totally fucking not going to work. It's just garbage. It could be,
um, we're going to make a 10 degree turn and we're going to end up in a totally different place.
It could be, we need to make a 30 degree turn or, or, or an 80, a 180 turn. Right. Who knows?
But the point is, is that you have to evaluate, readjust, and then execute. And that can only be done when you're
unemotional. Otherwise you're going to fuck yourself. On the flip side of that though. So
following up with that. So for entrepreneurs that are just getting started, right? Like
what are some signs that you saw in your early days of, of, of, of business that kind of like,
okay, I'm fucking doing it. Like I'm doing it right. Like I know I'm on the right path. I know
there's a bigger reward, but like, do you, can you look back and was there a moment um where you're like fuck i'm
winning like i get it i'm getting it not getting it yeah but that didn't come for me till i was
probably 12 13 years in i don't think you know the first fucking the first 10 years i was just
trying to survive dude and i was stupid didn't ever, this is why I tell
you guys, like you guys are, a lot of you guys are probably much smarter than me. It took, it takes
me a long time to fucking, uh, to learn my lesson sometimes. So I was stupid and I sat in the stores
and I tried to sell people as much shit as I fucking could. And they would get buyer's remorse.
They wouldn't return.
They would tell their friends not to go in there because it was pushy and fucking we
lose and we never grew.
It wasn't until I had an epiphany where I truly changed my style and an understanding
of business where Chris and I, we were 10 years into business
roughly, and we weren't making very much money. It was very, very difficult. We didn't have any,
you know, we didn't have any resources to call upon. There were no banks, there was no trust
fund, there was no fucking nothing and we weren't making it. And so what we went and explored other opportunities. We had talks about
what we, how we would transition out, what he was going to do, what I was going to do. And,
you know, we went and explored those opportunities. And then, and then, you know,
for me, I didn't have many because I didn't have a degree. And at that time,
you know, you had to have a degree to get a job then it's not the, you know, here now it's a
little bit different, but, um, but yeah, dude, you know, uh, we both realized that like there was
only in our business, there was a specific aspect of what we did that was really cool.
And what it was, was in between, you know, trying to sell shit, we would actually have people that would go out and lose 100 pounds in six months.
Right. And they'd come back and they'd say, yeah, you couldn't recognize him, bro.
They'd be crying. They'd be saying thank you.
And back then that rarely happened. It only happened, you know, every once in a while because we were we weren't doing it right.
And so we had a real candid talk, which was, you know, hey, dude, I know we're not making the money and we may never make the money that we want.
But this is something that we're not going to get anywhere else.
And so we made a decision at that point then to dedicate ourselves, rededicate ourselves to the business. Um, but make sure that we replicated
that result as much as possible, but the person who truly changed. And when we did that, bro,
we grew five years in a row, a hundred percent in the worst economy, you know, that's existed post,
um, great depression, great depression. Right. So, you know, uh, people got results. Uh,
they told people more people came in and, you know, there we went. And not only were we doing
the right thing, we were fulfilled. We were making more money. The business was growing.
And every time we've gotten off track over the course of 23 years, it always comes back to the
same thing, getting refocused on helping the customers with what they need and, and discover, we kind of discovered it by accident. We got, you know, so the first 10 years,
it was fucking garbage. I mean, I was shitty at business. And so once I started seeing that growth
of 110, you know, a hundred percent, five years in a row, when I got to, you know, the fourth and
fifth year, I started to have a little confidence. Like it wasn't just like, oh dude, we're getting
lucky. Now I started to figure out the puzzle. Right. And then, you know, now fourth and fifth year, I started to have a little confidence. Like it wasn't just like, oh dude, we're getting lucky. Now I started to figure out the puzzle. Right. And then, you
know, now it's now I know that I know that that puzzle or that mystery so well that it's not,
it's not a mystery to me. It's an equation. Yeah. Yeah. It only sounds like a mystery if you're not
used to it or you don't understand it. But to me, it's very simple. And so when I figured that out,
that when I truly saw that if
we help people and did the right thing, their business would grow. That's when I knew we were
going to go. Right. And the moment you went off course, you'll lose. And it's no different. The
moment we go off course tomorrow, we're going to fucking lose. Same thing. So there's no there's
no point in time where you can't do that. It never comes, you know, and it shouldn't ever come that dude.
That's the best thing about our cup. Dude. The best fucking thing about what I do is walking
down the hall here and running into somebody who I may have never seen before. And one of the,
one of the guys or the girls at work here introduces me and they're like, Hey, this is Sam
lost 200 pounds here. And I'm like, Holy fuck. Like, dude, and that happens every day here.
But like, that is literally like, there's nothing better than that at all.
I can't think of anything. I would do it for fucking free. Right. You know, so.
Awesome. And then last question. So, and this can be business, this can be a life answer,
however you want to kind of phrase it. But what, you know, this is not the, you know, oh, Andy, go back in time, right? BS question. But what's one piece of advice that you wish you
were given when you were first starting out in business, in life, when you're 22? What's one
piece of advice you wish that you were given? You know, if you can go back, you know, 15 years ago,
you wish you were told that, that, you know, you know now.
Well, I mean, look, dude, I always answer that question the same way.
You know, I'm very happy with where I'm at in life.
It doesn't mean I'm satisfied at all.
I'm not hungry as fuck.
I guarantee I'm more hungry than I've ever fucking been.
But it's not for me.
It's for my team. And it's for the guys here.
And it's for the girls here.
And it's for the people who dedicate their lives here. That makes me personally way more hungry than any thing I
could get on my own or for me, if that makes sense. So I wouldn't change anything because
that's where we're at now. But if I did have to give myself a useful piece of advice that I think would have saved me a lot
of anxiety and frustration, it would definitely be the advice of understanding what aggressive
patience is and that time is going to be a part of the equation no matter what.
So a lot of young entrepreneurs, you know, or people trying to accomplish anything,
you know, they hear people like Gary Vee, who is a great dude and a very dear friend.
He says patience. Okay. And then you hear Tom Bilyeu, who's also a great dude and a very dear
friend who says, fuck patience. All right. They're very, people are very confused. Like,
should I be fucking a billionaire in six months or should I wait for 20 years and live my life?
Like, so there's all this conflicting information, but I could tell you how it was for me
and how it is for me and what works for me. And honestly, all the big entrepreneurs that I've
talked to, um, that run like the companies you've heard of, those people all
have some version of this concept that they use. I call it aggressive patience. And aggressive
patience can best be described as, it's actually not patience at all, okay? But it is. So think of
it like this. If you get a cake, all right, and you get the best cake recipe ever from Martha Stewart,
let's just say, all right.
She gives you this cake and she says, well, who's the best pastry cooker?
No, I like cake.
No, I mean.
She do good?
No, yeah.
You would know.
I'll trust it.
Yeah.
All right, cool.
I would eat Martha Stewart's cake.
All right.
You better put some sound effects in on that one, Parker.
So, hey, dude, look.
All right.
All right.
We all agree Martha Stewart probably bakes an awesome cake.
It's probably a good cake.
So, anyway, she tells you what ingredients to get, right?
And you take all the ingredients.
This is not,
you take all the ingredients
and you put them in a fucking bowl, okay?
And she tells you this exact amount of every ingredient
and you follow it perfectly.
You mix it up in the bowl,
you make the batter,
you pour it in the pan
and you put the cake in the oven.
It calls for 40 minutes at 400 degrees
and that could be totally fucking off.
I'm just making this shit up.
But you decide because you want to eat the cake fucking today,
not right now, not three hours from now.
You're like, fuck, I want some cake right now.
You say, well, dude, if I turn the heat up to 800 degrees
and I cut the timer to 20, it'll turn out the same, right?
And it doesn't.
No, that's a burnt fucking cake.
That's correct. And that's the same thing 20, it'll turn out the same, right? And it doesn't. No, that's a burnt fucking cake. That's correct.
And that's the same thing you have to understand about time when it comes to your goals.
You cannot outspend it.
You cannot outwork it.
You have to let time do its part.
That's the baking, okay?
And it's not something that you can get around.
A lot of people in business try to get around this.
And, you know, obviously it's a good idea to try to get around it because, you know, you want to grow your
business as fast as possible. I totally understand. And that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is
you could try all you want, but likelihood is the branding, the brand is going to have to bake.
Okay. And what that means is there's things that have to happen organically over time for you to
actually become what it is
you're pursuing. If you're working out, your body has to recover. It has to regenerate. It has to
be torn down, then recover. That has to happen many, many, many times over the course of a big
amount of time for the change to happen. It's the same thing in business. You have to go every day.
You have to execute the plan as if you want it today, but you understand
that it's still going to take, you know, three to five years to really get some traction going.
So you have to be aggressive on the micro level, the daily level. That's why the Win Today podcast
is so important, which is episode 107 on the old MFCEO feed and episode 16 on Real AF.
116?
I'll say it again.
Are you sure?
What is it, dude?
That's what I thought.
I was right, huh?
Yeah, motherfucker.
16.
I said 16.
You said 116.
Now we have to keep this in here as It's part of the fucking show. All right.
Anyway, there's an episode that you can listen to that explains what I'm talking about in detail,
the win the day. Okay. This is where you want to aggressively pursue winning the day,
understanding that to really start winning, you've got to win
about a thousand of those motherfuckers in a row. Okay. So that's the real deal. Everything's going
to take time and you have to understand this is not the rules that I made up. This is the fucking
rules. Okay. I wish we could do it faster. You people to build a brand, people have to become
familiar with your brand. They have to see it many times.
They have to hear their friends talk about it usually.
There's things that have to happen for your business to grow.
And so what you have to do while that's happening is to facilitate that the best way possible.
How do you do that?
By executing on the inside.
Making a good product.
Servicing the customer in an exceptional way, building a great culture inside your business,
having good education systems inside your business, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
You have to come in and kick ass every single day while this is baking, if that makes sense.
So clean the kitchen while the cake's in the oven. Yeah. There you go.
So that's what we're talking about here. But that concept would definitely be the one I wish I would
have understood because it's really, you can really under, every fucking motherfucker out
there that's listening to this podcast that is somewhat successful and they've been doing it for
20 years at least, which there's a lot, they will agree with everything I'm saying right now. The people who are on day two or three,
they have big doubt about it. They're like, oh, I don't know if that's actually right.
Because you don't have the perspective. I'm looking at it from the end to the beginning,
or not the end, but I'm looking at it from a higher point of view because I've done more steps.
You know what I'm saying? There's guys way ahead of me and they're looking at me saying, Hey, you know, so right, exactly. So, so it's, that's how
it works. And that's what I wish I would have understood. And the reason I wish I would have
understood it was because it would have fucking saved me a ton of stress, a ton of anxiety.
Um, I had a lot of fake urgency. Okay. Uh, meaning like I would get it worked up or, or, or everything was
so fucking urgent and dude, things should be urgent when you're growing. But like, I'm talking
to the point where it would like destroy your fucking inner peace a hundred percent. Like your,
your anxiety is through the roof. Those of you who are entrepreneurs and you're in the game and
you don't have any bat, uh, backup to come help you. you know what I'm talking about. It's fear.
It's anxiety. It's fucking pressure all the time. Those feelings would have been reduced
had I understood the concept of aggressive patience and also the concept that there is
no magic. There's no fucking magic here.
It's inputs and outputs.
One plus one equals two.
It's it.
And if you do that long enough, you're going to fucking win.
Whatever it is you're trying to do.
So that's three.
That's fucking awesome.
Yeah.
Three questions.
That was three.
I think you asked a couple.
I think it was more like five in there.
But you snuck a couple extras in there.
Who's counting?
Madoc kind of fucked up the flow of the show, though.
Yeah.
If you guys want to ask questions, you can submit them at askandie at andiefricella.com,
and that's where we're going to draw the questions at for the show.
I feel good, man.
I feel like that was a good show.
Oh, yeah.
Like, dude, we didn't have shit.
Like, we just made that shit up in the locker room.
I think that was pretty good.
Yeah.
I had a good time.
Thanks for co-hosting.
Yeah, I appreciate it.
All right, brother.
All right, guys. That's the show. And Madoc, thanks for fucking it up. I had a good time. Thanks for co-hosting. Yeah, I appreciate it. All right, brother. All right, guys.
That's the show.
And Madad, thanks for fucking it up.
Next time be prepared.
So guys, that's the show.
That's how I think we're going to work it.
We might make a couple of changes, but if you like the show, give us a share.
If you had a good laugh or taught you something or made you think, just help us out.
Grow the show.
So I love you guys.
I appreciate you guys.
And I'll talk to you next time.
