So this isn't going to be some rah-rah, you're a super winner, positivity fluff job. That's not
what this is. That's not what the show is. That's not what I am. And if that's what you're looking for, you're in the wrong spot.
I want to change the way you live.
And that starts in your mind.
And to change your mind, you've got to change the way that you think.
Okay?
So guys, getting started here, I have a very simple question for you.
What is it that really divides us as Americans and citizens of the world? I mean,
everywhere we look right now, everybody's always talking about how America is deeply divided.
Whether or not you're American or not, that's what people are saying. And I want you to really
think about what that question means. What is it that really divides us? The truth is,
I think most people are absolutely wrong about what divides us. I really do. I think that they
are dead wrong. A lot of people think it's politics that divides us. Now, there's no question
that politics in America generally fall into two groups, Democrat or Republican, liberal,
conservative, left, right. Okay. But there's far more people in the spectrum than just
two options. All right. There's people that fall everywhere in between those two options,
and that never gets discussed. But coming to the topic of division, do you really think that the average person or the average people of this country really hate other people because they disagree with them politically?
Do you?
Because I don't.
Okay.
I have friends from all different political views and all different cultures.
Okay.
And there's nothing wrong with having different opinions.
People see life through different sets of lenses.
They get a different perspective
depending on how they grew up,
depending on what schools they went to,
depending on where they grew up,
depending on a lot of different things.
And this is something that really gets lost amongst people.
Everybody has a unique perspective and they base
their opinions based around that perspective. And it's nothing that should divide us under any
circumstances. And I don't think that it does. All right. And that moves us on to the next topic.
What about race? Are Americas really divided on race? I'm not talking about whether racism is still a real problem in America or the world because
it is in certain circumstances.
I'm talking about whether the average person in the United States hates someone because
they are black or hate someone because they are Latino or hate someone because they are
Asian.
Like my boy, Dave, I'm talking about whether or not the average person in America
refuses to be friends with a person of another race
or refuses to do business with them
because they're red, yellow, black, white, brown, yellow, blah, blah, blah, whatever.
It doesn't matter.
I don't believe that's true.
I really don't.
I don't observe it anywhere I go.
I could tell you for a fact
that I'm not like that. And I can also tell you that every single business owner I know,
and I know a lot of them are also not like that. All right. Race never plays a role.
And it's even a conversation about how I particularly choose my friends. I don't even
think about it. I don't even think about it. And I don't know any people
that do. I just don't. I don't see any companies out there that where race comes into their hiring
practices. I don't see many companies out there that are not hiring people just because they are
from a certain cultural background. I just don't see it. Okay. Does it happen? Yeah, it does happen,
but it's not what people are making us think. Okay. We've grown up in a society now for the
last 10 or so years, 12 years where you can't even tell jokes to each other anymore. The world
is so politically correct that if you joke around with someone of a different race everybody looks around
like fuck dude was that out of line or did i accidentally say something racist like dude this
is fucking ridiculous it is ridiculous okay kidding around and joking around with your friends no
matter what the fuck color they are is what shows them that they are family. We all operate that way. Most of us. So why has it become something that
we can't even fucking joke about? Guys, the bottom line here is I think we're being lied to.
I think people, some people, at least in the media want to talk about how divided we are by race,
but it's not as bad as what they say it is. The vast majority of us, that's you listening to,
do not hate someone from another race.
We don't think of it as it's us against them.
I don't, you don't, and most of the other people don't either.
The reality is, guys, most of the things we're told divide us as Americans
don't really divide us.
When you consider it all, the politics, the race, the religion,
the sexual orientation, whatever it is, okay, they're not the things that divide us. They just
aren't. Are there extremists who hate and judge and shut themselves off from anyone who is different
than them? Fuck yeah, there are. There's a lot of them. Those people are fucking ignorant,
okay? I agree. But every single day in this country, there are. There's a lot of them. Those people are fucking ignorant. Okay, I agree.
But every single day in this country,
there are millions and millions and millions of people
who are very, very different,
who still get along very, very well.
They hold extremely different political views
and they're still good friends.
There are people of different races
who work for the same company
and they still crush it in business together and have a great time doing it.
There are gay atheists who would love to have a beer with Christian Republicans.
There are white baby boomers out there who wouldn't think twice about pulling over and helping a young black kid change a tire on his car.
It happens every day in America and it's never talked about
every single day it's not the exception these aren't the things that should be celebrated as
the exception this is the norm but we're being lied to and we've been lied to about what divides
us and you want to know why i'll tell you. We are told that we are divided by race, religion, politics, or whatever, because in each race
and in each religion and each political party, there are winners.
There are exceptional people.
There are people who are happy and successful because they always do the right thing.
They don't whine about their problems.
They are grateful for their life.
They create opportunities for themselves.
They do everything they can to make the most of their lives and they impact the people around
them in a positive way. The bottom line here is they're good people. They're hardworking people
who make the world a better place. And here's the reality about that. The people who want to
control and manipulate us, some of the media, some of the politicians,
certain people in positions of power and influence, they don't want us to get along.
They don't want it. They know if all the truly exceptional people got together out there and we
started working together, something amazing would happen. If we started building friendships, if we started creating
closer communities and stronger businesses together, they won't be able to stop us.
Can you see what I'm saying here? What would happen if all the truly exceptional people in
this country rejected the lies about being divided by race, religion, sexual orientation, or whatever else, and we would
come together and fucking dominate. It would start another American revolution, not the kind with
guns and people dying, but a cultural revolution that would create a better way of life for all of
us. Guys, I'm telling you right now, we are lied to about what divides us. We are divided.
I don't argue that, but it's not by what everybody thinks. It's not what we're being told divides us.
The reality is there is really only one thing that divides Americans and it doesn't just divide
Americans. It divides the whole human race. And that issue is excellence. Okay. And I want you
to stick by me here because you might be scratching your head. There's two groups in America and in
the world. One group is full of whiners and excuse makers. There are members of this group from every
race, every religion, every political party, you name it. They are ungrateful.
They are entitled.
They experience a lot of pain, some sort of adversity.
So they think the world owes them something.
They think the government owes them everything.
And no matter how patient people are with them, no matter how many opportunities they
are given, they do nothing and they waste their lives.
The other group is totally different.
There are people in this group that were born into poverty and they rise to become millionaires
and successful pillars of their community. They are born with birth defects, disease,
or handicaps. And from the moment they are born, life punches them right in the fucking mouth.
But they don't use any of that adversity as an excuse.
They are grateful for their life.
They work hard.
They're innovators, entrepreneurs, athletes, blue-collar workers, and billionaires,
and they come from all races, all religion, all political parties.
No matter how different they are, they have one thing in common. They win. Do you guys comprehend what I'm saying here? There's only one thing that really divides
humanity and it's a commitment to excellence. There are victims and then there are the victorious.
There are losers and then there are the winners. I don't care what neighborhood you're from, who your parents were, what state you come from, where you grew up.
It doesn't matter.
Don't let people lie to you about what divides us.
Don't let the national media do it and don't let the politicians do it.
And don't elect leaders who promote this shit of entitlement, laziness, jealousy, or whining.
Instead, rally around the leaders in the world who promote the mindset and the lifestyle of committing to excellence.
Get close to the people in your life who take personal responsibility for making the most of their lives,
for working as hard as they can for treating people well and being productive contributing
members of the society guys the bottom line is this what if we stopped buying the lies that
were sold about being divided what if we stopped allowing the powers that be to separate us into
black white gay straight christian atheist rich or Okay. And we locked arms with anyone as long as they were committed to being exceptional and
pursuing their own true potential.
What if we united to win?
I guarantee you the country and the culture that does this is going to have the strongest
economy, the healthiest families, the closest
communities, the best culture, the most unbeatable military, the highest production, and it will
also be the happiest.
It would literally create the greatest country on earth.
So let's fucking do it.
