This is where you bring the Qs and I bring the AFs.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Pay the fee.
Let's do the show.
Email your questions in to askandy at andyfrasella.com.
With that being said, Andy, question number one.
That's got to be a record.
We're 26 seconds in.
Yeah, that was the fastest fucking intro ever.
Yeah.
That's what she said. be in there all right i'm used to those intros
andy question number one for you andy how did you hold on hold on yeah real talk a lot of people we
get a lot of new people every fucking show so like if this is your first time we do have a we do have all right i'm sorry we're idiots
oh you're about to get some value oh yeah you're gonna get some value and what we ask in return we
call the fee the fee is tell somebody about the show please all right uh we're gonna give you a
whole bunch of value it's gonna be great be great. You're going to dance around fucking circles
and ring around the posy and shit after the show.
Yeah.
Let's answer some questions.
Yeah.
Question number one, Andy.
Andy, how did you learn to seriously manage your finances, right?
This is a young person.
He's at school.
Did not teach me shit.
Yeah.
It doesn't.
On purpose.
Here's why.
They want you to be broke.
Okay.
What's the rest of the question?
That's it.
How do you manage your finances? They don't teach you those things in school intentionally the reason they don't teach you anything about credit or balancing an account
or making investments or this or this or this all shit that 14 year old kids are teaching themselves
nowadays uh the reason they don't teach you that shit number one the teacher's teaching you don't
fucking know themselves and number two uh because by the way, they never did anything. Number two,
um,
they want you to be broke.
They want you to,
to be on the system as much as possible.
They want you to be in debt.
They want you to be financially fucking handicapped so that they can control
you.
So understand financial independence is the actual key to real freedom.
That's the first thing.
Um,
so that's why I say capitalism's bad and being all these rich
guys is fucking assholes no no being rich is awesome it's fucking awesome you ever been in
nantucket yeah you ever been in nantucket that's right a little shout out to portnoy there look
dude um listen you won't be free unless you become financially free. That's it. Oh.
Okay. The reason I'm allowed to say all these things on this show that I say and all the shit is
because I don't answer to fucking anybody.
All right.
There's no sponsors calling me saying, Andy, you need to tone it down.
Right.
Right.
And I turn down seven figure deals for sponsorship on this show all the fucking time.
You know why I do?
You know why I turn them down?
Because fuck you that's
why right okay so understand with it when you make a whole bunch of money um you get to the point
where you can almost do anything you fucking want and that doesn't mean be an asshole you should
help help motherfuckers with that yeah do good things okay we do a lots of good things like
what what's what's what what helps more? You donating your time twice a year,
fucking,
uh,
Thanksgiving and Christmas to feed the homeless.
Are you being able to build 15 homeless shelters in your town?
All right.
So let's get real.
Rich people help the fucking world more than fucking poor people.
And that's a fucking fact.
Okay.
And they get a bad name based upon what these fucking pussies who are teaching our kids shit.
Talk about.
Yeah.
All right.
So let's just be real about that.
Secondly, um, what was the question?
How do you manage your fund?
How did you learn to manage?
My, my mentality has always been make as much fucking money as possible.
It's all, I am all offense, bro.
I'm all gas.
No fucking breaks.
I have partnered with a person who is the exact opposite.
Okay.
My business partner, um, he, for the most part is the opposite of me.
Now that's why, that's why you need that yin and yang.
Okay.
So he thinks about other things like defense and I think about offense.
All right.
So my goal is to make as much fucking money as I fucking can ethically, responsibly,
while doing all these good things, creating jobs, et cetera, et cetera, because I understand
that to make money, it's going to cost money. So it's about building a machine. It's not so
much like I'm managing every dollar. Now, I'm in a different fucking scenario than 99.9% of humans. If I was a regular human, um, when it comes to managing
finance, I would still operate on that same principle of trying to become as successful
as possible so that you have a little more margin for error inside your personal finances, because
there's so many speculative things that are going on in the world right now because of the rapidly changing technology and all of these weird-ass things.
The point is things are changing fast.
So managing your finances is always going to come down to really basic principles.
Saving a certain percentage of your money, investing a
certain percentage of your money, not living beyond your means. In fact, purposefully living
below what you could actually afford, which takes a lot of discipline. And I do that, by the way.
People don't understand that. I've always done that. What you see in my life, that's within my my budget for what i spend on myself right so that's the goal the goal
is to get so fucking big that even that small budget that you give yourself to live on seems
yes yeah that's it and that's the goal and that's what you should be working towards you should be
working towards that until you get there and that's going to mean that you're going to have
to start off probably cooking french fries like most motherfuckers did i didn't cook french fries i fucking painted
stripes on parking lots i did asphalt work i did fucking foundation work then i started my
little company and everybody laughed at me for fucking 15 years now i'm here all right i posted
yesterday like somebody i was in the fucking la ferrari and the dude's like oh yeah nice flex
your la ferrari motherfucker you don't even know bro i could flex your fucking dick right off you know what i'm saying like bro
that's just my life everywhere i point this motherfucking camera is a fucking flex and
that's not bragging but that's just what happens after fucking two decades of working your balls
off right so that should be the goal give it two decades man work your fucking ass off you're 20
years old by the time you're 40 you're going to be killing it and you're still going to be young old. By the time you're 40, you're going to be killing it.
And you're still going to be young.
And not only are you going to be young, you're going to be a silver fox like me, motherfucker.
That's what I'm saying.
So like, dude, like stop thinking you got to have it in a day and start thinking about what's going to be in 10 years.
Point is this.
Go on the fucking offense, man.
And be on the offense so fucking hard.
Live below your means.
Be poor.
Let all your friends make fun of you
let all your friends talk shit let all your old girlfriends call you a loser because that's what
i did and guess what i'm winning and my life is nice and i have freedom and i can do what i want
for now until we lose our freedom unless you motherfuckers join me fighting for it so um
so yeah dude you know uh what's what's, what's that book?
The automatic millionaire.
That's a great book.
That's a great book for personal finances.
Um, you know, a lot of people have their opinions on what you should do percentage wise, this,
that, the other blah, blah, blah.
None of them really matter.
You got to find a system that works for you that you can discipline, uh, and stick to
for a long period of time and live within that system and, and, and keep going on the
offense to make your pie so big that even a fucking small crumb of your pie feeds a whole bunch of people
you see what i'm saying that's fucking awesome yeah that that's just how i look at it you know
i i don't think uh like i know a lot of people listen to ramsey for this shit and and he's like
oh you must have a million be a millionaire before you buy a nice car and all this shit.
Listen, I'm sure the guy's really smart.
I've never listened to any of his shit, but I don't operate on those principles.
And I like my life a whole lot.
So that's real.
Andy, question.
What does he say?
Doesn't he say it?
Don't you listen to him?
Yeah, I've listened to him when i was uh trying to overcome my debt he says unless you have one million dollars in net worth you should not buy any new car okay not even like a honda civic okay so you talked about it when you were saying you said a nice
car he said any new car okay and i i feel like he's trying to deal with majority of the americans
trying to overcome debt yeah but
then those people never make anything out of average yeah look dude to get out of that it's
just like you bro getting out of your debt you didn't say hey i want to get out of my debt you
said hey i want to fucking become wealthy yes and then the debt took care of itself correct and so
it's kind of like that saying you know uh shoot for the moon and land among the stars that's my
philosophy go heavy offense and maybe you may not get to exactly where you want,
but the points are going to be on the fucking board, right?
And that's what matters.
And a lot of stuff that you said coincide, obviously,
because he's wealthy as well, and you're wealthy as well,
and it's been long-term.
So a lot of stuff that you say, he says the same thing.
Yeah, I can't.
You know me, dude.
I don't have time to listen to anybody else.
Correct. So I know this. I know he hacks the fucking itunes algorithm every fucking day no shit and he fucking steals that number one spot motherfucker dave ramsey i'm
coming for you bro we'll be there tomorrow yeah you'll be there wednesday dude i look he takes
his three-hour show and puts three different podcasts and that's a hack on the hour every day
every day it's impossible now to get to number one because of that so a little razzle dazzle whatever kudos to him winning's winning
it is what it is i'm still gonna beat you yeah no shit andy question number two for you i did
see his house in nashville that went for sale man i fucking think it's pretty pimp
so just to add up he he lives a great life though does he he lives a great life but he says the
exact same thing that you said he says fuck a whole lot and no no his pie is so big that his
small section is so big that it looks like he's living pimping around yeah but his share of the
pie is so big yeah it's because the whole that's. And that's why we have millionaires that I have employees that live million dollar houses
and shit.
You know what I'm saying?
So like, and that's only getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
By the way, million dollar house here in Missouri is a $10 million house in fucking California
for you.
The motherfuckers don't know.
Okay.
So anyhow, uh, yeah, that's the answer.
Andy question number two for you.
Okay.
As an entrepreneur, how would you go about reconstructing
culture in your company in the company that you work at um dude all all culture starts from the
example and and what people don't really understand about setting an example is that it's so simple, dude. It's not what you say, it's what you do.
It's not monkey say, monkey do. It's monkey see, monkey do. And there's a big difference there.
So if you want your culture to improve as an entrepreneur on a team inside of a company,
you have to live that standard of what you expect it to
be.
And you can't spend your time pointing at everybody and saying, oh, you fucking suck.
And you're not living the standard or you're not living the standard and neither are you
and blah, blah.
That's not how it works.
You have to become so undeniably good at living that standard that other people want to be
like you on their own.
Right.
And they have to make that decision on their own.
So what makes someone make
a decision to follow someone? You have to be undeniably something that they want, right?
So the reason my voice matters and the reason people tolerate my cursing and my attitude,
besides the fact that it's funny as fuck, is that I literally have proven myself over and over and over again in literally every way.
So people are willing to understand that, right?
I have credibility.
So what's your credibility?
You have to have credibility to change the culture.
The credibility as an entrepreneur starts with how you act, how you perform, how you
treat others, what standard you live to every single day.
And then when you do screw up,
you got to call yourself out, not call the other people out. All right. That's the biggest thing
people can do to improve their culture at work is by living the example. It's the same reason why
what's going on is going on. Like I look at all these people on the internet wanting to change
what's going on in the country, right? How many of them are actually providing solutions? How many
of them are actually sitting down with people who may come from a different point of view like we
are to have conversations about solving actual problems? Or are they just posting memes or are
they just saying agitating shit to get likes and shares and go viral for their own self-interest,
right? So that's what we have going on right now.
And that's why none of these, that's why nobody's stepping up to solve any of the problems
because nobody's actually living it.
No one's actually putting their balls on the line.
No one's actually fucking standing up.
It's real easy to post a bunch of shit and say, people should do this and that and this,
this, this, this, this, this, but you're not risking anything.
You see what I'm saying?
What are you doing yeah so that people like what they're waiting for someone to come along when in reality dude this is a this is an american movement like you yourself have to start living
what you want this country to be it doesn't come from one guy at the top it comes from everybody at the bottom
you see what i'm saying like if everybody lived better if everybody set a better example if
everybody tried to be nicer and more kind and better and earn more money and become a more
contributing part in a healthier healthier personal excellence okay personal excellence
in every area if you live that your neighbors are more likely to live
it. The people at your church are more likely to live it. Your friends are more likely to live it.
Okay. That's how things change. And that's the problem we have in this country right now.
We have a lot of people that could change a whole lot of shit by just changing themselves,
but instead they want somebody to ride in on the white horse and save everybody.
And that's just not going to happen. We need a cultural revolution of personal excellence in
this country. And that's the same way to change the culture inside your company. Same way.
So it comes down to you. What are you living? What what kind of shape are you in?
What kind of money do you make? What kind of fucking what kind of life do you live?
How do you treat people? What do you what do you put in your brain?
What do you eat? What do you drink? Dude, Tupac said this, bro.
Tupac said this back fucking ninety six.
Got to change the way you eat. You got to change the way you live.
Like, bro, this that's why he's saying these things.
That man understood we have a cultural problem across the country now he was i think he was talking
mostly about black americans but that is exclude that is not exclusive to black americans it's
exclusive to all americans if we all get better the place gets better
that's real yeah dude and and your culture and your company is no different than that
and our third and final question for you today andy how how do you handle or how did you handle
you don't make terrible decisions now i'm sure but i make a few how do you handle bouncing back
from terrible decisions very easy dude i give myself a little bit of grace. I tell myself
the truth. I say, hey, dude, you fucked up. This is my internal hour. Hey, dude, you fucked that up.
Okay. What made you fuck that up? Oh, I thought this and this. Okay. Well, those were wrong.
And I'm just honest with myself. And then I look at it and I'm like, all right, dude,
you don't fuck up very much, but you're human too.
And you fucked up and now you got to make it right. And then the second part is not to just make it right, but also to not repeat the same behavior.
It's very simple.
Yeah.
And then move on.
Like, I don't hang on to shit that I fuck up.
Like, if I fucked up yesterday, I ain't thinking about it today being able to forget those things and move forward um with with
with uh that lesson in your pocket that just means you're a more powerful person moving forward
you know what i'm saying a lot of people try to just forget it and i fucked up yesterday keep
moving they didn't process that's the whole problem with this country they don't they don't
take the time to assess themselves and be honest with themselves most people don't most people
don't aren't even willing to admit that they fucked up.
Most people won't even have an honest conversation with themselves.
Instead of having an honest conversation with themselves, they give themselves the
bullshit conversation, right?
Which is, oh bro, it's all right, man.
Fuck them.
Everybody does it.
Yeah.
That ain't, that ain't, that's not, that's not how men or adults act.
That's how leaders act.
You have to be honest with yourself.
And honestly, like if you heard my own dialogue, it's way more critical than I give to anybody
else.
You know what I'm saying?
And that's why my standard is high.
So, you know, it's very simple.
If you make up, make, make a mistake, identify what caused you to make the mistake.
Uh, identify what situations would that, would that present itself again,
change the behavior to create a situation where you don't fuck up again like that. And then move the fuck on. You know what I'm saying? It's very simple, dude. Yeah. Like so
many people, like I talked to so many people who were like 40-ish years old and they're like, man, when I was 20, I did this and this and this.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, that was 20 years ago.
What'd you learn?
Right.
And you're still punishing yourself for some shit you did 20 years ago?
That's the culture we've created, dude, with all this, all of this shit with social media,
dude.
We should not be judged for what we did fucking 10 years ago on
the fucking internet in front of fucking everybody it's a bunch of hypocritical shit the whole reason
that everybody jumps on people is because they're guilty themselves and they want to they want to
jump on these people so that other people don't look at them and and and basically what they're
saying is when they jump on and try to cancel all these people and judge them harshly is, well, I'm not like that.
Well, you're what you're, what you're really doing is telling on yourself.
You ain't fooling smart people.
You're only fooling yourself.
That's why it's garbage, dude.
Like I don't, people are meant to fuck up and learn and move forward.
That's the nature of being a human.
So why, why, why are we allowing these
fucking people on the internet to have so much power over everybody, cause them anxiety,
cause them stress, cause them frustration? Answer to them. Who the fuck are we answering to?
Who the fuck are you? I can promise you this, bro. If those people who fucking attack you like that
are standing in front of you, you would laugh. You would laugh that you were explaining yourself to them. Stop explaining your shit.
Learn a lesson and move forward. Well, guys, Andy, was that three? That is fucking three.
All right. Go pay the fee. Yeah. Fuck a stole, counted millions in the cold Bad bitch, booted swole, got her on bankroll
Can't fold, that's a no, headshot, case closed
