at the starbucks headquarters in seattle to protest the chain's practice of charging extra for customers who request milk alternatives quote save the planet save the cows stop the vegan up charge now the activists shouted after making their way to the counter, as seen in a live stream video that was posted on Facebook by PETA. This week, ahead of Earth Day, Starbucks is failing customers and failing the climate. One of the protesters yells out in the middle of the store. We're heading into a climate catastrophe and Starbucks is still charging up to 80 cents for people to get vegan milk, a sustainable option. They're mad. So the duo, they were glued to the counter for over two hours.

Police came. They arrested them but did not take them to jail. They released them on the site after interviewing them and got their identifications. But PETA says, you know, they have a long campaign against Starbucks upcharge for plant-based milk arguing that it's not only contributes to the support of dairy farmers but unfairly discriminates against vegan customers also affected our lactose intolerant customers most of whom

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified Wednesday

that the Disinformation Governance Board had recently been created days after Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased Twitter to combat online disinformation and will be led by the Undersecretary for Policy, Rob Silvers, co-chair, with Principal Deputy General Counsel Jennifer Gaskell. He said, quote, the goal is to bring the resources of DHS together to address this threat,

Mayorkas said, adding that the department is focused on the spread of disinformation in minority communities. Missouri Senator Josh Hawley referred to the board as a disgrace and wrote a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas demanding answers as to how the board would operate. This was his tweet. He tweeted, the administration that activated the FBI against parents at school board meetings now has created the government disinformation board to monitor all American speech. It's a disgrace. Joe Biden and Secretary Mayorkas dissolve this monostrosity immediately i don't agree with everything josh holly says but he's right he's right okay and and i'm proud that
