Members of the Fellowship of Friends believe they are called to create a new civilization following a doomsday event and implores its followers to attain enlightenment to transcend a state of waking sleep state. The group, which has approximately 1,500 members internationally,

also believes enlightenment is obtained by embracing arts, including ballet, painting, opera, and wine. Friends of fellowship. The alleged cult-like organization, which collects 10% of its members' income, was founded in 1970s by Robert Earl Burton, who has been sued for sexually assaulting male members of the group. Quote, once you become aware of this, you become responsible, Kevin Lloyd told the New York Times while recounting his decision to sound the alarm on the group's infiltration of Google.

Quote, you can't look away. In his lawsuit, which has been filed in the California Superior Court in Silicon Valley Valley. Sorry. Lloyd claims Peter Lubberseth, director of the Google Developer Studio and a member of Fellowship of Friends, is funneling money from Google to enrich the religious organization and that he was wrongfully terminated for informing his supervisors about the issues. Quote, Mr. Lubbers gained status and praise relative to the increase of money flowing to the fellowship through his efforts at Google that put and kept other fellowship members directly or indirectly on Google's payroll, the complaint states. There's a lot of weird shit that goes into this, though, right? Fellowship of Friends has a long history of sex trafficking. Burton allegedly engages in bizarre sex rituals, orders pregnant women to have abortions,

preys on young males, and has slept with hundreds of people per day during these quote-unquote love fests. A Google spokesperson maintains that Lloyd was fired in February 2021 for performance reasons and insists the companies adhere to the policy that prevents discrimination. Their full statement says, quote, we have a longstanding employee and supplier policies in place to prevent discrimination and conflicts of interest, and we take those seriously, the spokesperson told the New York Times. Quote, it's against the law to ask for the religious affiliations of those who work for us or our suppliers. But, well, of course, we'll look thoroughly through these allegations for any irregularities or improper contracting practices.

Clarence Anglin, John Anglin, and Frank Morris remained wanted fugitives for their June 11th, 1962 escape from Alcatraz, where they were serving time for armed bank robbers. The three men spent more than a year preparing for the escape, digging around a metal air vent in the prison cells until eventually they had cleared enough uh they had cleared enough of a hole to pass through shimmy up poles and traverse to rooftop and sneak past prison guards before maneuvering down 50 feet of piping to the ground of the prison shower area where they plan to take a raft back to the mainland federal investigations uh into the escape which was

immortalized in the 1979 film escape from alcatraz included that the anglin brothers and morris must have drowned in the san pablo bay but for years speculation has grown that the men may have survived and continue to live undercover with theorists pointing to the fact that their bodies have never been recovered and evidence that a raft was recovered on nearby Angel Island, as well as evidence that a vehicle was stolen on the mainland the night by three unidentified men. Then in 2013, authorities received a handwritten letter suggesting that John may have still been alive, forcing U.S. Marshals to reopen the case in 2018.
