Starting point is 00:00:00 What is up guys, it's Andy Priscilla and this is the show for the realest. Say goodbye to the lies, the fakeness and delusions of modern society and welcome to motherfucking reality. Guys, today we have Q&AF. Q&AF is where you submit the questions and I give the answers. And you can submit those questions too. Guys, email those questions in to askandy at andyfrasella.com. Yeah. And they can be about anything, man. For those of you that don't know, I hosted the MFCEO Project, which we're actually bringing back soon, which was the number one podcast for 19 months uninterrupted on iTunes. It was about personal
Starting point is 00:00:52 development, how to win, how to get better, how to kick ass, how to be a motherfucking savage. That's what your question should be about, okay? Because this is not the normal show, okay? We do a little bit of everything. The whole goal of this show is to create solutions and make you better so that the world can be better. OK, it's not just about how to make some money and stand in front of a fucking Lambo so you can make some more money. That's not what this is. It's also not an interview show.
Starting point is 00:01:19 A lot of people are always asking me, you know, you need to work on your interview skills. Well, yeah, I would, except I don't fucking interview people. I have conversations with them. All right. So we have different formats on the show. And if you if you would like to hear an interview show, you can go listen to one of the 40 fucking thousand other fucking podcasts out there. But here we have conversations and I frequently interrupt people.
Starting point is 00:01:42 So if you don't like that, you can go ahead and leave now. Otherwise, we have a wonderful plethora of offerings for you to enjoy. We have Q&AF, where I take your questions and I give you the Andy Frisella answer. Then we have CTI, which is Cruise the Internet. This is where we talk about the problems going on in the world. We throw some headlines up on the screen. We talk about what truth they might have. We make fun of them. We have a laugh.
Starting point is 00:02:09 We joke. We have senses of humor here. And then we talk about how we can solve these problems. It usually ends with borderline violent insurrection. Then we have real talk, okay? Real talk is four to 20 minutes of me basically just speaking my mind. I think I did one of these just on Saturday. You guys can go listen to about being your own best friend, which is important.
Starting point is 00:02:31 And then sometimes for you interview motherfuckers, we have full length and that's as close to an interview that I will ever do ever. So if you don't like my interview skills, I not the guy to listen to but full length is where i bring on successful interesting uh kick-ass motherfuckers and we talk about how they're just normal people like me and you and how they became the successful kick-ass badass motherfuckers that they have become so during the intro uh dj drank a drink of water and nearly fucking choked to death apparently right outside the door i'm back are you gonna make it fuck i'm trying to get down okay that's why i got quiet for a minute i was trying to see if you were checking on me yeah go ahead we can
Starting point is 00:03:20 leave that in like yeah it is what it is it's my last bottle from a gallon are you okay almost died all right thing almost got me you're alive you're good you know how bad that would be you get taken out by drinking water well it's because the water is white it's oppressive that's what the you know what that's what it is and water is racist dude good god that almost got me man man. Fucking racist. Fuck. I'm good, though. Hey. You better start a hashtag.
Starting point is 00:03:50 They do make black water. Have you seen that? Yeah, but it doesn't look that good. No, it doesn't. It doesn't look that good. I don't want to drink water that looks like fucking dirt. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:04:02 Black water, it looks real dirty. Yeah, anyway. So, sometimes DJ tells jokes yeah and once out of every 1,000
Starting point is 00:04:11 he tells a funny one yeah sometimes they're funny sometimes they're racist for those of you guys that don't know we actually have given DJ a trophy
Starting point is 00:04:19 for every single funny fucking joke that he has told on the show and DJ how many trophies are you up to i got two so i got one on the way though yeah you guys got one on the way that was funny i ordered that shit yeah that was a fun we're gonna do a highlight show of dj's funny moment it's gonna
Starting point is 00:04:37 be three fucking minutes long it'd be like 30 seconds about average you're used to that i mean i wouldn't know that. Anyway, what's up, dude? What's going on, man? I'm glad you made it. No, dude. Fucking Putin almost got me there. Putin did fucking almost get you, bro. No, I'm good, man.
Starting point is 00:04:58 It's good. Everything's good. What's been going on? Yeah, working out. out bro we shot this weekend we did we did why don't you go ahead and tell them the news why don't you go ahead i won't even say anything how long have you had off how long has it been two years okay why don't you go ahead listen the floor is yours but i ordered another fucking trophy okay where are you any a trophy for shooting gun no you did fucking solid bro solid fucking you hey i'm a fucker i should be protecting you and well how hold on now hold on now you know those guys listen to the show you
Starting point is 00:05:37 gotta be all i'm saying is fuck around and find out motherfucker because daddy still fucking got it dang no fucking joke either no it was real shit man i shot 400 fucking rounds i missed steel 15 times yeah no no that's that's about accurate bro yeah yeah i did i did a whole bunch after you left too yeah it was a solid time yeah it was fun dude it felt good my shoulder super you know they say it's the it's the car not the driver right oh of course yeah they say yeah yeah definitely the definitely the guns because i got some nice guns right right maybe so much better that's what i'm saying yeah let's see that shit on the high point that's all i'm saying all i was fucking happy dude like you know i was because i was like i was talking some shit
Starting point is 00:06:18 hey man no bro look i got a video of it man i'm straight here fucking over there playing jingle bells and shit bro that's what i'm saying bro hey i love a video of it man i'm straight here fucking over there playing jingle bells and shit bro that's what i'm saying bro hey i love it fuck around find out now that just made me happy dude because like now that we have security around like i don't want to be the useless guy you know it's important to me i get it so like it felt good like i could shoot enough to where even dudes know how to shoot are going to respect me 100 that felt good so anyway um yeah another thing uh i get this i've been getting this consistent dm from people and i don't know where it comes from and i want to explain something you guys first of all i do what the fuck i want okay i'm gonna do the show the way i want i'm gonna do
Starting point is 00:07:05 whatever projects i want to do i'm gonna do what the fuck i want to do okay so realize that when you message me and say you should do this and you're 20 years old and you've never done a fucking thing in your entire life like i don't listen to you that's not how i run my life right so i do what i want well man what would that look like if you did i'd be wearing fucking onesies and fanny packs and fucking looking like i'm fucking eight years old but i'm fucking 30 and doing weird shit yeah and i'm not doing that so my point is that while i appreciate the information you take from whatever i do and I try to do the most that I can. Because I do this for free.
Starting point is 00:07:49 OK. I actually lose money doing the show. I don't run ads on the show for real. OK. But if I did. All right. But we don't. But I don't.
Starting point is 00:08:00 For real. Real talk. OK. It's millions of dollars that I don't do because I don't want to spend 10 minutes of your time listening to me talk about bullshit, all right? I try to contribute and give you value. And it's frustrating for me when we have younger people, okay? I'm talking to you guys who are like under 25 years old listening to the show, maybe under 30, all right?
Starting point is 00:08:21 And you value so much the personal development content, but then you tell me to literally shut the fuck up about what's going on in the world. Well, first of all, let me tell you, the show is far bigger than it's ever been ever. It's literally probably five or six times the total downloads MFCO ever fucking got. Okay. Secondly, like I said before, point number one, I'm going to do whatever the fuck I want. Okay. And thirdly, I need you to understand something that when I teach you how to actually win and build success and build the things you need to succeed, that is predicated off the idea of you having enough freedom to do so. So when I speak about what's going on in the
Starting point is 00:09:08 world, I'm doing so to serve you, just like I would tell you all the other personal development things. And the reason that I try to bring light to what's going on is that without freedom and with an oppressive system that they are trying to put in, where we're taxed at a high rate of over 50%, which means we are not free. We work for the government more than half the year. With the system that's being created, you will be unable to utilize any of the lessons that I teach you. And so it's very frustrating for me to hear from someone who has been really only alive during the most prosperous time in the history of planet fucking earth, which are the last 15 or so years. Okay. Most prosperous time ever, more innovation, more money made, more wealth created than any other
Starting point is 00:10:05 time in the history of the planet earth. So when someone who has spent their entire existence in a time where things were just fucking great and anybody could win, it frustrates me when I'm trying to communicate to these people what's happening in the world and why it's going to make it much harder for you to win. And then you spit in my fucking face about it. Okay. Cause I don't have to do this shit, motherfuckers. I don't want to come on here every day and talk about politics. I don't want to come on here every day and talk about how these elite fucking disgusting corrupt humans who are literally the oldest possible people on the planet are oppressing all of humanity while at the same time shitting their pants on fucking television. Okay. I don't like that. I would much rather talk
Starting point is 00:11:01 about winning and making money and being a fucking baller and, you know, creating fucking all kinds of good shit with that money and doing fucking cool shit and all of these things that you all fucking want to talk about and hear about and get to as soon as possible. I want that too, bro. And what I'm trying to show you by talking about what's going on in the world is that if you don't protect your fucking freedom, if you don't get in line with what I'm saying and vote the people out who are trying to take your freedom and who are trying to tax you further and harder, it will be impossible for you to do what it is you're trying to do. So before you criticize me for trying to educate you, you're welcome. You're fucking welcome. Because I've been alive long enough to been through some hard times. And
Starting point is 00:11:51 by the way, I've also ran businesses through hard times. And it's really fucking hard. It's really difficult. And you need to understand that what's happening in the world is not the normal ebbs and flows. It's very dangerous, and it could be permanent if you don't wake the fuck up and care about it. So when you're 20 fucking five and you tell me this shit, Andy, I fucking love your personal development content. It's helped me all through high school. I fucking did this and this and this and this and this, but your fucking politics are shit. Realize, fuck you. Because you're the reason that I have to get on here and fucking talk about it. Because you don't care enough to care about it on your own. So fuck you.
Starting point is 00:12:37 And you know what the fourth reason is? I do whatever the fuck I want. Let's say that. We'll say it at the beginning, we'll say it in the middle say that we'll say it at the beginning we say it in the middle and we'll say it at the end there's a symbiotic relationship man people don't understand between business you mean the fucking i don't i do what i want sandwich i just that's a do what i want big mac i just created that bro has the bun on the ends and the bun in the middle and then it has the other two things and that creates the fucking big mac if i do whatever the fuck I want. Yeah, Andy Mac. That's right. Andy sauce.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Bro, it's just so frustrating, man, because I love these motherfuckers. Like, bro, you think I would come in here and fucking tell you all this shit and teach you all this shit and try to tell you like, you think I like coming in here and telling you all the hard lessons I've learned and fucking ways I've got my ass kicked and like the embarrassing shit I've had to go through,
Starting point is 00:13:28 bro. I do that. So you guys don't have to go through it. You know, like I could very easily be like one of these other dudes and walk around and pretend like my dick's fucking 20 feet long and there's no flaws in my game. But guess what? The reason I'm here is because there are flaws in my game and I was smart enough and am smart enough to correct them as they happen. And I want you to understand that, you know, like when my guidance counselor told me that you weren't cream of the crop, he was actually fucking right. I'm proof that you don't have to be. Get it? I'm trying to show you a regular human,
Starting point is 00:14:07 just like me, how you can do whatever you want in life if, if, if, if we live in a fucking free society. If we live in a society that is not free, nothing I teach you about anything makes a fucking bit of difference to you.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Give you all the ins and outs. Yeah. Don't matter. So please remember that when you come at me and decide you want to tell me whatever the fuck it is you want to tell me. Okay. I would appreciate it if you would maybe think that, you know, like all this good information that I've helped you guys with over the fucking last decade I've been teaching you. That's maybe I would like to think that you would maybe think for a second that maybe my intelligence and my vision and my skill set expands beyond just this one little category of business. Because part of being great in business over the long haul is being able to see what's developing in front of you. Right. It's like being at the top of the
Starting point is 00:15:06 Titanic, bro. If the right motherfucker was at the top of the fucking tower, Titanic, Titanic, you wouldn't even know what the fucking Titanic was. You get it? You have to be able to see. You have to be able to understand. And if your goal is to be some e-com fake ass motherfucking entrepreneur, marketing guru or whatever the fuck it is you think you are, if that's your goal, then sure, you don't need any vision, but you're never going to really be whatever it is the fuck you want to be. But for the rest of you who want to build a quality, solid, long history of success, real success that solves real problems for your community, that contributes, that allows for people to build careers, okay? And build lives, which I believe is an American duty of an American entrepreneur, okay? If you want to do that, you must learn to
Starting point is 00:16:03 see the fucking field. And the socio-political landscape is the motherfucking field because it creates the amount of freedom or oppression that we have inside of our business structure. And that freedom or oppression that we have usually has to do with over-regulating or over-taxing. And if you are in a situation like in California, a lot of these businesses are moving because they legitimately cannot operate because inflation is so high and fucking taxes are so high and prices are so high that they can't operate their business. And so what you're seeing is the biggest companies in the world move and the small companies go out of business. And we're in danger of having that
Starting point is 00:16:51 happen everywhere. And nobody at any level is fucking immune to it. It doesn't matter if you're fucking Apple or if you're Steve's Candle Shop. It doesn't fucking matter. So it's important for you to understand what's happening in the world. So please, if you're going to listen to the show, understand that. Don't come at me with that bullshit because that's not my misunderstanding. That's your lack of perspective. I've been alive for a long fucking time. I've done a lot in a long time and I've done a lot more than most people have my age. Now I've fucked alive for a long fucking time. I've done a lot in a long time and I've done a lot more than most people have my age. Now I've fucked a lot of shit up too, which is why I can teach you a whole bunch of shit. But what I'm telling you is you have lived in the time of fucking mass
Starting point is 00:17:36 prosperity where anybody could fucking win if they just exhibited a basic amount of fucking work and discipline and stick-to-itiveness. We are entering a time where to win, you're going to have to become a motherfucking warrior. Now, how hard the time gets depends on how much time you invest in understanding what's going to happen and how you vote in the elections. That's the only thing. Because the goal is what's happening in the world, we have to remove these people from office, which we do with a vote, and we replace them with people who are going to stop that or turn it the other way. It doesn't matter if you're a Democrat or Republican. I don't fucking like either one of them, but I'm certainly going to vote for the one that is going to make it easier for us to build
Starting point is 00:18:37 wealth, success, prosperity, careers, jobs, self-sustainability, our economy, and all the things that affect you and me and all of us every single day. I'm going to vote for that party. And you should too if you give a fuck about winning. So that's my spiel. I try to teach you guys everything I can. If you don't appreciate it, turn to the channel. That's it.
Starting point is 00:19:07 So what do we got? Got some good ones for you.'ll snag these out any question number one you talk a lot about health personal excellence right I've always wondered what your thoughts are on sleep okay I see a lot of different opinions on this and I wanted to ask the MF CEO himself what role does sleep play in your life and how much do you consume now versus back in the day when you just started out? Well, I have a very difficult time sleeping. I have diagnosed insomnia. I've had two sleep apnea surgeries. Okay. When I, when I first got diagnosed with a sleep disorder, they thought it was sleep apnea because I was overweight. I had my uvula removed. I had my tonsils removed.
Starting point is 00:19:49 We tried a CPAP. Nothing helped. Okay. So then it was re-diagnosed as an actual brain disorder of insomnia. So I have a difficult time sleeping. I have to really, like, I have like a routine. I have to follow it. And if I like a routine. I have to follow it. And if I don't follow it, I don't sleep.
Starting point is 00:20:09 So, you know, if you are a normal human without one of these actual, by the way, a lot of people think they have fucking all these disorders and shit. Like, I've done a bunch of sleep stuff. This is not shit like actual yes yeah i'm not for just fucking anxiety anxious i'm not just take too much caffeine motherfucker it's an actual thing um i think sleep is extremely important i think that there is an a culture of entrepreneurship that glorifies not sleeping as if it's some sort of badge of honor. It's the same sort of badge of honor that people say they're busy. I'm so fucking busy, bro.
Starting point is 00:20:53 I got all this shit going on. Bro, I'm so busy. Yeah. Well, the reason you're so busy is because you're not as effective as you should be. If you were more effective, you wouldn't be as busy. Okay? So the goal is to be effective, not busy. Productive, yeah. So that's a to be effective, not busy. Productive.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Yeah. So that's a whole nother topic for a whole nother fucking day. However, I think the culture of no sleep and like fucking sleep when you're dead and all that shit is extremely damaging to people. I think sleep is extremely important and I would trade every motherfucking thing I have legitimately to sleep like a normal human. Because over time, like it makes you insane. Okay. And I think it's extremely important. And if you have the ability to get normal sleep, you should fucking do everything you can to
Starting point is 00:21:37 maximize that, in my opinion. I have a hard time speaking from experience because I've never really been able to sleep very well. You know what I mean? Um, but it's one thing like the fact that I've, you know, operated this long at that level, you know, I don't know what that'll do to me eventually. You know what I'm saying? I think about it though. Yeah. But what's your, what's your take? Because like, brother, there's some, some people out there, we'll call them gurus it though yeah but what's your what's your take because like brother there's some some people out there we'll call them gurus or whatever but what's your take on the 4 a.m thing like you got to be up fucking well look bro listen 6 a.m in la for okay first of all there's so much nuance in that in that okay when you wake up early, it requires discipline, okay? So there's that. That's a great thing
Starting point is 00:22:29 because you're investing in your discipline. Like when Jocko talks about waking up early and some of these other guys talk about waking up early, it's a practice of discipline. So I can appreciate that
Starting point is 00:22:41 for that reason. From that standpoint. It's not the only way to build discipline, but it does help. In terms of your actual success, do I think it matters if you get up at fucking 4 a.m.? No, I fucking don't. I don't think it makes a goddamn bit of difference. And I'll tell you why.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Because I've never gotten up at 4 a.m. one motherfucking day. For 24 fucking years. Okay? What I focus on is being effective. What I focus on is maximizing my opportunity to get shit done while I'm awake. Okay. Far too many work like right they they try to pretend like it's this badge of honor to say i worked 20 hours day for 10 years like bro that's not fucking healthy bro it's like a it's like the fish story like you caught a fucking six inch fish but 20 years later it was a fucking yeah it was a fucking 20 pounder. Yeah, it was eight feet long.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Yeah, right. It was fucking jaws. You caught jaws. Right, right, right. I'm actually the guy. You just don't know it. I hit the home run. The ball's still falling.
Starting point is 00:23:55 Yes. I got it. That's what we're dealing with with a lot of these entrepreneurs saying that shit. Yeah. Okay? I'm here to tell you that if you wake up every single day and you do five critical tasks that move you closer to where it is you're trying to go. And I'm not talking about doing emails is not a critical task. I'm talking about a very specific task that will move, call Steve
Starting point is 00:24:21 at fucking, uh, Acme company. Who's going to do this and this and this and talk to him about this. I'm talking about a critical fucking task that needs to be done to move you the fuck forward in business. I've never done more than five in a day. Not a single fucking day. Hmm. Not a single fucking day. You know why I've never done more than five in a day?
Starting point is 00:24:41 Because I'm lazy and I like my fucking free time. And I don't like to be fucking wrapped up in busy work all fucking day. Okay. So this idea of I have to work 30 fucking hours out of 24, 10 days out of seven days is bullshit. And there's a lot of entrepreneurs out there that are guilty of propagating it. It's just not the fucking truth. My win the day podcast episode 16, which literally shows you the system I've used over the fucking last 24 motherfucking years to win consistently is exactly what I do. It's exactly what I do. It's the exact tool I use. It's exactly how I live. It's what I do. It's what I've used to get where I'm at and build what I've built. And's the exact tool I use. It's exactly how I live. It's what I do. It's what I've used to get where I'm at and build what I've built. And there's nothing more I can tell you. When I get
Starting point is 00:25:30 my five tasks done, if it's fucking 11 a.m., guess what I do? Whatever the fuck I want. Yeah. You're you attest to this. Yeah. You're with me every day, bro. And most of the time, do I do extra shit for the for whatever? Yeah. but it's like i'm i'm able to do the things i enjoy right like i can walk around talk to people i can have personal conversations uh if if i get caught up you know talking to my dad in his office or you know like i could be a human because it could have took you maybe two hours to get those five things done yeah right it's not a matter of how much time it takes. It's a matter of how much gets done in the time that you have.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Right. And like, bro, people are under the assumption that it's work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work. It is work. You do have to work, especially in the beginning. The first, you know, until you're established, maybe it takes you three years. It took me 10. All right. And maybe it takes you a year. I don't fucking know. Like the speed of
Starting point is 00:26:27 how much someone can accomplish has drastically collapsed. Right. Like, like what would take me three fucking years, guys, because I didn't have social media. I didn't have YouTube. I didn't have this podcast platform. I didn't have this podcast platform i didn't have this technology there was i had to fucking go and knock on doors bro yeah cars so so you have to understand we're talking about a pre-convenience technology era okay so it take it took me a longer time you guys have it and this is where this is where i get fucking pissed you motherfuckers have it so easy and it's so convenient and you're still fucking complaining about it that's not easier holy shit man you guys can literally go out do dances on the motherfucking internet
Starting point is 00:27:20 gain a following and then talk to these people all over the world and sell them whatever the fuck it is you sell instantly like bro yeah it couldn't get any fucking easier and like people complain about it and you know why they complain about it the same reason that young motherfucker complaining about not caring about what's going on in the world because you lack perspective you lack perspective and one day that person or those people who say to me, oh, you're going to wish you had listened. You're going to wish you had listened. But, you know, all in all, bro, a lot of these dudes out there, you know, they're doing like I'm not trying to hate on anybody or whatever, but like, dude,
Starting point is 00:28:03 a lot of these dudes just don't know what the fuck they're talking about. They haven't really built anything. They might have an e-com company. They might have a little brand. They might be selling courses about how to do something. But in terms of building real companies, I've built a fucking bunch of them. Okay. I'm just telling you, this is the way it fucking is. And if you, if you buy into the, I'm going to work 24 hours a day that in the beginning, sometimes that's necessary. Okay. Sometimes you have to make real sacrifice. Sometimes that's not how you want to live your whole entire life. You won't get there. You won't get to dude. Not only will you not get there, you won't have a fucking family. You won't have
Starting point is 00:28:39 fucking friends. You won't have fucking fun. You'll fucking hate everybody because bro, I know what it's like to have to do that amount of work because we didn't have fucking fun. You'll fucking hate everybody because bro, I know what it's like to have to do that amount of work because we didn't have those conveniences. And like during that time, bro, I was the biggest fucking cocksucking motherfucking asshole there fucking was. You know why? Because I didn't sleep. I worked my ass off. I was fucking hyper urgency all the time. And bro, uh, that, you know what, that was necessary to get us off the fucking ground. So like once you get off the ground,
Starting point is 00:29:09 the best thing that you could do is develop a system that allows you to be effective and also have your life. That's what the win the day, the powerless system that I use, that I fucking use my whole life, that's what that's designed to do. And by the way, I give it to you for free like everything fucking else. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:29:25 Like, it's not like, Hey, buy my shit. Or, you know how much money I can make on fucking just selling my little shit that I give away for fucking free to these. Like, that's the difference, bro. To me, you want money. Hold on. These people are listening to the people that sell their little system or whatever it is the fuck they got who have never actually built anything with that system right and they're paying for that shit
Starting point is 00:29:50 and i'm over here and i've used these systems to build actual things like in real life and you give them away i give them away for free and motherfuckers yelling at me about it right right right i'm about done with that shit i I'm going to tell you that right now. It's crazy. Yeah. Well, guys, moving on to question number two, Andy. But but hold on. I want if you're if you're in this position and you're struggling and you think there's no way to get all this shit done, I can almost guarantee you you're just not understanding the game properly, because most of you guys listen to people about how to win the game when those people have never won in the game. So like your friends, your family, the people who you listen to the most who are telling you, you need to do this or you need to do that. You have to understand that they are directing you on how to play a game that they've never actually won at. This will be no difference than if you on how to play a game that they've never actually won at. This will be no difference than if you went out to try and hit a baseball and you're
Starting point is 00:30:50 the motherfucker who's never, ever, ever got a fucking single and even a T-ball game is telling you how to hit the fucking baseball. Okay. So you have to discern between well-meaning people that care about you and you have to you know they're and and you have to discern between that kind of advice and then the advice from people who actually know how to hit the motherfucking ball substance okay let me tell you something i know how to hit the motherfucking ball and i hit the fucking long ball so if you want to hit the long ball I would suggest you go download episode 16 You fucking use the system that i've used and I use it exactly don't modify it. Don't fuck with it It works
Starting point is 00:31:34 I would do your five tasks every day And I would have a life as well That way you can build amazing wealth and success You can help a lot of motherfuckers along the way and you could still live a normal, somewhat normal life. That's what I would do. But you're free to listen to someone that's never got a single before. specializing in hardwood products. And I'm starting with one table design first. With this table, there could be three different iterations that look slightly different. My question is, should I offer my customers more options to customize the table or just stick with the best design
Starting point is 00:32:18 offering only one option? I have put out some polls and asked around different groups and people seem to like each different design about the same That's your first mistake Okay, let me I'm gonna ask you to read this question again, huh? And I'm gonna but I want to address something right now Okay, stop asking your fucking stop asking for your next move in your fucking Instagram polls. Okay? So many of you you do things like this should i cut my hair short or should i keep it long should i make it brown or should i make it black should i open up this or should i create this
Starting point is 00:32:54 should i do this with my business or should i regroup and do this why are you asking people who don't really care about you Who don't really know about you Who don't understand what your hopes and dreams and goals are And also in front of your competition To telegraph the next move that you're going to fucking make About anything Now maybe you should stop to think about that
Starting point is 00:33:25 Like if I put a poll and I said what should I do with my business this or that And then I say, okay cool guys. I'm gonna do this And that this takes me six months to do Do you not think that there's other people watching your story that could maybe do it faster? Like a lot of you guys are telegraphing all your fucking plays because you, again, you don't have perspective. You're idealists, not realists. Here's, let me tell you how the way it is. There's motherfuckers that ain't your fucking friends and they follow you.
Starting point is 00:34:02 And whenever you show them what the fuck you're going to do, you know what they they do they try to fuck that shit up or they try to do it better or they try to do it faster when they see a good idea that's the way it works so maybe just maybe leave the polls out all of you guys should think about that before you telegraph your fucking plays yeah holy shit tom brady doesn't come to the fucking out of the huddle and say, hey, I'm fucking throwing, we're throwing this route right over here. Should we run it up past the guys? What do you guys think? Do you guys think, do you think we should run a fucking go route over here on the left? Or do you think we should run a flag route over here? Oh, you guys cheer for
Starting point is 00:34:39 the flag route? All right, let's run the flag route. Do you know how much fucking harder it is to run the fucking flag route when everybody fucking knows you're going to run it? So use your motherfucking brains. Again, this is your lack of perspective. You're welcome. Now let's get to the question. It is real. People do it all day long. And by the way, there's more to that. Why would you fucking lower yourself to create an image of yourself that the internet wants to see of you? Like, oh, should I cut my hair or should I do this? Or should I do that? Or should I do this? Should I do this? Or should I do that? You're denying yourself of any authenticity or individuality at all by doing that. And the authentic shit that you're trying to cultivate in yourself can never be born because you're doing it for the wrong reasons.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Maybe you should just be the person who sets the motherfucking trend instead of the person who seeks approval for whatever decisions. Maybe you should just own who the fuck you are and say, you know what, motherfucker, my fucking hair is fire. Fuck you if you don't like it. One of the focus on the people who love you afterwards. Yeah, bro. Like, dude, we and we wonder why everybody's so depressed and lacks confidence and lacks belief and lacks all these things because you're asking for approval from motherfuckers that you can never please. You can never please those people. You are never going to
Starting point is 00:36:11 get a hundred percent of the people on the fucking internet to make the properties like, dude, I see it in business all the time and people, well, that's customer feet. Those aren't your customers. Those aren't your customers would be like sending out a poll, an email format, or talking directly to a group of your customers and having a discussion with them. Not just general world. You're getting your grandma. You're getting your fucking aunts and uncles. You're getting your people that don't like you.
Starting point is 00:36:41 You're getting the people that like you. You don't even know the audience that's responding. The people who never will ever fucking buy anything from you. Bro, you're asking for fucking feedback about business from motherfuckers that never run a motherfucking lemonade stand. Right. That's real. Well, no, dude, but like, this is common sense, dude.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Yeah. Like, is this really where the fuck we are? Anyway, let's answer the question. I feel like I'm ranting a lot today. I had a lot to get off of my chest. If you didn't notice. What's wrong with it? Well, dude, the whole fucking like, the whole, like, I'm so glad this personal development
Starting point is 00:37:23 project that we've been building is fucking getting ready to pop off. But like. The whole resistance to getting interested in political understanding is such a massive mistake for young people. It really is, dude. It really is. Because if you don't understand the ups and downs, how can you make adjustments for the trends that are about to happen? See, bro, you don't want to be the company that's responding to the fucking aftershock of the trend happening.
Starting point is 00:37:54 You want to be the motherfucker anticipating what's about to happen. And the only way that you can anticipate what's about to happen is by understanding what has happened before. This whole idea of like not being politically charged. is new you know i'm saying like bro a hundred years ago every fucking american were interested was interested in the fucking politics of the land yeah you know why bro because they had to be bro because the farmers the motherfuckers in office no came from the people no no yes but but that's not why most of those people had felt the pain of living in a country that was not free yeah most of the people that came here during the fucking 1900s
Starting point is 00:38:35 they came from other places that didn't have fucking freedom yeah they couldn't exercise so your grandma and grandpa they used to fucking like can and do jelly and all this shit. Like they did that for a fucking reason. And like we live in this society right now where people are so fucking aloof and so arrogant that they don't think these bad things could happen to them or our country or our society when they happen to generations that came before us that were literally a hundred thousand times more prepared to deal with them. Because when you take the technology out of the equation and you take the fucking
Starting point is 00:39:20 convenience out of the equation and you, I'm talking about down to running water and fucking electric, which is exactly what could happen here. You have to be skilled and you have to be resourceful and you have to be useful. And those people were prepared for that. But we have a generation of people, bro, that think that could never fucking ever happen.
Starting point is 00:39:44 And then when someone who is of at least i would say i'd say i've earned the title of you know i'm an average intelligence guy right like i'm at least that okay like i think i'm a lot smarter than that but you ain't getting no special checks i got listen i'm just saying, like, I don't have to wear a helmet in public. Right, right, right. Okay? Like, I'm doing okay. Can we admit that?
Starting point is 00:40:09 Is that fair? That's fair, even for my critics. Even if you fucking hate me. Even if you fucking hate me and disagree with everything I fucking say. I'm of average intelligence. Right? Yeah, I mean, that's, that's being okay. So as a human of average intelligence, who's been able to somehow get lucky enough to be successful over and over
Starting point is 00:40:32 and over again, who has a really great track record at navigating, you know, life. Yeah. Or, or incredibly hard, difficult shit in business or creating or
Starting point is 00:40:45 innovating or creating things completely from fucking scratch. I'm just telling you that you need to be prepared and understand the landscape because it's part of the big equation. If you don't know the field you're playing on, you can't anticipate how it's going to change. You can only be in control of so much when it comes to your own personal success. Do you follow what I'm saying? Absolutely. So you guys who are young or you guys who are disinterested, at least be interested enough to trust that I have done my homework and I understand what's going on. And if you don't go out in mass and vote all these fucking people out of office and vote for the right side. Okay. And by the don't go out in mass and vote all these fucking people out of office and
Starting point is 00:41:25 vote for the right side. Okay. And by the way, I'm not Democrat or Republican, dude. I am a pro-freedom fucking, a pro-American fucking patriot. I don't give a fuck about the Democrats and I don't give a fuck about the Republicans and I don't give a fuck about the Republicans. I give a fuck about the people of this country. And if you don't go out and vote these people out who are doing what they're doing and vote for the party that will stop them from doing it, we are going to lose the country 100% certain. I am certain of that.
Starting point is 00:41:58 And so to the youngsters who don't care, at least trust me enough to go out and vote the people in who will stop what the fuck is going on now. That's all I ask. Because I promise you, if it doesn't happen, we're all fucked. Your business is fucked. Your life is fucked.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Your career was fucked. For the next 10 years, you're fucked. Real talk. So if you want to make money in the next 10 years, do what the fuck I'm saying. If you don't, you know, I told you so. The question, simply put, are more options better or worse for sales? Is there such a thing as too many options when it comes to goods and services?
Starting point is 00:42:45 Absolutely. 100%. So typically there's a good, better, and a best. Three product categories in typical business, right? Services as well. Yeah, for sure. And we could get into all the intricacies and dive deep into it, but it would be a whole show. If you give customers too many options, they will choose none of the options. It's the paradox of choice. It confuses them. It makes them hesitant. And it keeps them from doing business with you if you give them too many options in a lot of cases.
Starting point is 00:43:27 Real quick, what would be too many options? More than three. Is there a number? Yeah. More than three. Got it. Now, there's companies out there that have more than three. But I'm talking about in a very simple sales scenario, okay? So, when you're talking to someone, the talk track is usually, you know, it's like this.
Starting point is 00:43:48 Look, man, we got all three of these options right here. They're all fucking good. All of them are good. Okay. All right. This one, this one's pretty good. I'll give you a color. This one's, this one's really good too.
Starting point is 00:44:00 It's a little bit better than that one. And this is the premium. Okay. And you're going to go through the options of that. And then any human can very distinctly recognize three different options at three different price points and identify the quality of each and which one is appropriate. Because dude, that's a relevant question too. Because some people are price shoppers. Some people are quality shoppers. Some people want a nice compromise.
Starting point is 00:44:31 So it really just depends on who it is you're targeting with your product. Now, within your product spectrum, would you say they were doing custom tables? Yeah, custom, custom hardwood tables. Yeah, it might be. OK, this is our series. This is the everyday series, right? And your everyday series is like your basic tables, and there might be three of those, okay? Then you might create, you know, the upscale, right?
Starting point is 00:44:56 Which might be your better series, a little bit nicer table, a little bit more money, and you might have three of those, okay? And then you're gonna you know you got your baller table right this back this is the this is the fucking this is the this is the big baller section cognac yeah the cognac all right and you're at the top and those tables are you know much more expensive than the first option but they're also higher quality and so in that case you might have nine options, something like that. But basically when it comes down to how you scale out your sales process, it should come down to giving people basically no more than three options.
Starting point is 00:45:35 That's what it's going to come down to. But that can be three categories. Do you follow what I'm saying? Multiple options inside, but overall it needs to be three categories. Multiple options inside, but overall. Yeah, but still even the options inside, no more than three. Right, right. No, that makes sense. I think I said that because, bro, I'm not a business guy. You know what I'm saying? So I'm trying to understand this in my sense.
Starting point is 00:45:58 When you give people too many options, bro, they choose nothing. They'll go somewhere simpler that doesn't confuse them. You want to work very hard to make it simple for your customers to shop and understand what they're looking at. And a lot of you guys make it the opposite on purpose. And it's a big mistake. That actually, dude, that makes a lot of sense.
Starting point is 00:46:19 Cause like thinking about it, like when I see fucking like descriptions of fucking products or something, right? And it's like, you know, they're using all these big fancy, like, bro, it's a fucking water bottle. You know what I'm saying? Like just say water bottle, fucking container from the elements of blue.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Shut the fuck up. Well, I mean, look, bro, story sell, right? It's the story behind, it's the why behind the product. You know, that's a good thing to have. Like for these tables, like, you know, if you really want people to like appreciate the table, you have to tell them about what makes it so special and what makes it unique and why it is this and what this is designed for. So there's a place for that totally. But you know, if you give
Starting point is 00:46:57 someone 50 of those things, bro, it's overwhelming to them. You know what I mean? It's, it's, you know, good, better, best. It's real simple. And it's, it's a business strategy that's been used for literally hundreds of years. So work within that framework. You don't have to, you don't have to re, you don't have to re format the whole game to be successful in it. These kinds of things are the things that we answer inside Arte Syndicate. So like if you're an entrepreneur and these are like things you want to learn more about, we, we go deep in there on, on things just like this.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Sweet. Well guys, Andy, our third and final question for you. And question number three, how do you or should you handle customers that are rude and disrespectful to your employees versus a customer that's rude and disrespectful to your employees versus a customer that's rude and disrespectful to you directly? Is there a difference? Yeah. I mean, look, man, you know, I think it's important to, to look, every situation is different in my opinion. You know, what what some what some people think is rude other people don't think is rude with some people like bro we're so soft as a society now you know people
Starting point is 00:48:10 communicate even somewhat directly and it's seen as offensive the truth sometimes yeah so like you know i think it's important to look uh and anytime there's a disagreement, you know, you look into it, you look at what the facts are. Um, you look at, you know, um, was there any real malice, right? What was the intent? And you address it accordingly. You know what I'm saying? Like these general statements of what do I do with customers that are this and that, bro, you might have two customers your entire life that are like rude as fuck to people that deserve to be like fired as a customer. You know what I'm saying? Like if you have this problem coming to you over and over and over again, it's probably because you're doing something wrong. And so that, you know, you have to understand, bro, customers are your lifeblood. You know, they're the reason you're there. You're not. And that's a whole
Starting point is 00:49:04 nother thing. Like a lot of business guys have the wrong perspective of their customers. They look at their customers, how these elite fuckers look at us, right? How can I take as much from that person as I fucking can? And the truth is, and responsible capitalism, which is the kind of capitalism that we fucking need in this country to actually have it operate properly. We look at the customer's needs and we try to serve them the best possible with the best possible intent. And when the customer knows that your intent is the best possible intent and not just to milk them out for every fucking dollar, they feel differently about you and they're less likely to have these like problems that some of you guys might experience. Yeah. They reward you for that.
Starting point is 00:49:42 Well, of course. And so and, and so really dude, a lot of these problems with customers can be addressed by just auditing your own personal intent. You know, if you're the fucking owner of your company, what's the intent? Like, is your intent really to help these people? Or are you just saying, I want to help these people so that I can get their fucking money? Because there's a difference. There's a massive fucking difference and customers know the difference. They know when you genuinely give a fuck versus going through the motions of saying whatever just to get them to buy some shit. They fucking know. Even if you say the exact same thing, you could run the exact same script, say the exact same shit,
Starting point is 00:50:21 word for motherfucking word. And they are going to know what your intent is we as humans all have that ability to decipher you don't have to be a smart human to know that every motherfucker knows when they're getting sold some people might not be able to say you know no to it because they don't have a a strong sense of like i can say no to things but that doesn't mean you're a good salesman, dude. You know what I'm saying? Like a great salesperson, great companies, they legitimately give a fuck and the customers can feel that they give a fuck. And so when the customers feel that you actually give a fuck about their wellbeing, you don't get as many disgruntled people. Like you're going to get some people that
Starting point is 00:51:01 are upset, um, like any company, but you know, usually if your intent is good, you're going to get some people that are upset, um, like any company, but you know, usually if your intent is good, you're going to have empathy for why they're upset. Like, bro, when your customer gets pissed off at you, are you automatically like, fuck that guy? Or are you like, well, shit. Okay. We got a hole in our system that we need to fix. Right. That's two different intents is what they're saying. Valid. That's what, that's what I'm saying. And dude, there's so much nuance in that right now because society is so sensitive. There's a lot of customers who are taking advantage of people right now. And I don't want to say that to sound, you shouldn't operate with understanding that,
Starting point is 00:51:44 but you should know that it's reality. There's a lot of people out there that are so sensitive about everything and culture is such in a place where people feel like the company that they buy from must align with them on every single motherfucking issue or else I'll never buy from you again. We're dealing with a sensitive culture right now.
Starting point is 00:52:05 And a lot of you guys are nuancing your way around it and that's fine. But the problem is while you nuance your way around it, what's happening is the companies that actually stand for things that actually don't apologize for who the fuck they are, they're taking your business. You see, I'm very fortunate that I'm not a fucking pussy. Okay. And I don't have a problem speaking my mind to anybody. I would say this exact same shit on national television, which is why they don't put me on it. Okay. That's the truth. Yeah. So I don't apologize for being a Patriot. I don't apologize for pro-America. I don't apologize for fucking
Starting point is 00:52:41 freedom. And by the way, there's a lot of people in this, in our office that by the way, have different political views than I have. And you know what? We have wonderful discussions because that's what the fuck America's about. So you have to understand that the best way to insulate yourself from all of this shit is to stand for fucking freedom. That way, when people get mad at you for whatever you believe, you say, well, you're free to believe what you believe. See what I'm saying? Absolutely. But all in all, you know, not to get political. You know what I'm saying? All in all, it comes down to your intent, bro. Like, do you actually give a fuck? Like, do you care that your product is received? Well, do you care that when they wear your product, you want it to
Starting point is 00:53:25 fit right and make them feel good and make them look good and make them feel more confident? Do you actually give a fuck that when they buy your shit, uh, you know, that the seams come apart after two times they were, does that bother you? It should, it should Get what I'm saying? Yep. Or do you look at it as a transactional situation? Oh, I sold fucking a thousand widgets today. I fucking won. Right. If you operate like that, and that's your idea of business, you're going to eventually come up against someone who doesn't, and you will lose.
Starting point is 00:54:03 Because once that customer figures out that this guy over here sells the same shit or better shit and they actually give a fuck if I like it or not, they're going to go with them. Yep. Every time. Every time. And so my advice to anybody here, okay, is we have a volatile economic situation at hand. Money is going to get tighter. Customers are going to get more discretionary with their spending, which means you are going to have to actually earn their business by being better. And if you're an individual inside of a company, I think it's important for you to understand that you are going to have to get better during this time because a lot of these bigger companies are going to fucking crumble and there's going to be tons of
Starting point is 00:54:50 talent pool in the workplace. Don't be one of these people that ends up getting replaced by somebody who's a killer at somewhere else and they happen to be in the wrong spot. You know what I'm saying? There's a massive opportunity at hand right now. Everybody's talking about the doom and gloom, but the opportunity at hand is massive. The opportunity is this. When everybody else goes in their turtle shell, okay, and tries to weather the storm, you keep moving. And what that does is that creates a gap between you and them that they can never fucking recover from. They can never catch you. Okay. So when they stop, you keep going. And you need to think about that when it comes to your personal
Starting point is 00:55:32 development, when it comes to your fitness, when it comes to your life, when it comes to your business, when it comes to your career inside of a business, you must see the opportunity that's at hand. And the opportunity that's at hand is that a lot of people are going to fucking reel it the fuck in, close up shop, stop fucking trying. And they're going to say, I'm going to wait for times to get better. Except times never get good enough for those people. They never get better enough. There will always be something.
Starting point is 00:56:03 And so don't fall into this trap that things are so bad that you can't move forward. There is a lot that you can control. You can control your food. You can control what you watch and what you read. You control your fitness. You control how you move. You control your actions to build your brand or build your career. You control the amount of time you put into personal development. All of these things will compound for you to become a more weaponized and prepared fucking soldier for the hard times when it comes to business and career. It's a massive deal that you understand this. Because if you are one of these people who
Starting point is 00:56:45 is 20 years old or 25 years old and you see what's happening in the world and you think, well, fuck dude, you know, I'm just going to wait for this shit to get better. And, uh, bro, you'll, for the rest of your life, you'll be saying this. And I know this because I know a lot of people who in 2008 went in their fucking shell and they said, I'm going to wait for shit to clean up and then I'll be back at it. I'm taking your offer. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do that. I'm going to do some side work.
Starting point is 00:57:14 I knew a lot of those people, bro. Okay. Those people never came back into the game. And you know what they say now? Man, fucking 2008 fucking ruined me bro that's 14 fucking years ago right 12 years ago 12 years yeah 12 14 i don't fucking know it's a long time i'm not a biologist you conquer countries in fucking 14 years right from the ground up starting as a fucking peasant you could conquer motherfucking countries in 14 fucking years.
Starting point is 00:57:47 You're telling me 2008 fucking ruined you? Bro, you're a bitch. You went in your fucking shell, never came to fuck back out. That's the reality. Okay? And that's about to happen again. And the fucking, the real dudes, the real winners, the real ass kickers, the real savages, they're going to all keep moving. And they might slow down.
Starting point is 00:58:08 The weather might get bad. It might be a bad storm. There might be some rain. There might be some fucking hail. Conditions might not be ideal, but you keep moving anyway. What's that sound like? Does that sound like anything I might have told you guys about or maybe a program that I've been promoting for fucking years? You have to learn the skill of continuing to move when conditions aren't ideal.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Do not get sucked into this weak communist socialist narrative of these bad times are going to, you know, like they want you to quit. They want you to stop They want you to go in your shell And fucking put up the white flag And say oh I'm fucking taking a year off For fucking rest When you ain't done nothing but rest It's a massive opportunity For the fucking savages dude
Starting point is 00:58:57 The savages are gonna This is the biggest opportunity that's ever existed Ever ever ever ever ever Ever This will gobble up This will gobble up and create an opportunity that hasn't existed in this country for 80 fucking years. All these big ass companies, these big fucking companies that are oppressing people and pushing their social narratives on people and, you know, uh anti-american policies and all this they're all going to lose they're all going to lose and they're going to lose big and in that will be the opportunity will be to have the opportunity for american-made brands for the littler guy or the medium guy to gobble up and recreate what makes america shine yeah which is
Starting point is 00:59:42 us as citizens no matter what color we, no matter what color we are, no matter what race we are, no matter what our fucking background is, is accepting each other as Americans and supporting each other's livelihoods and businesses as a community. That's what makes this country what the fuck it is.
Starting point is 00:59:58 And we're going to get there again. And those of you guys who go in your shell and hide are going to be the ones that fucking lose forever and you'll be saying this yeah but i'm fucking 20 2022 you know fucking x happened and you know fucking putin yeah fucking putin fucking putin ruined my fucking career and you'll be saying that shit at the bar 15 years from now along Along with that eight foot long fucking bash you caught.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Yeah, exactly bro. Exactly. Fucking Jaws. You'll be telling your Jaws story. Yeah, and then Putin got you. Yeah, bro. And then Putin ruined it. You know, he fucking stole Jaws
Starting point is 01:00:37 right off your fishing pole. You know, like that's what you'll be saying. And so dude, no matter what happens and no matter how bad it gets, it's important that you continue to move forward. That's right. Well, guys, Andy, that's three. Pay the fee. Yeah, go pay the fee.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Went from sleeping on the floor. Now my jewelry box froze. Fuck a bowl, fuck a stove. Counted millions in a cold. Bad bitch, booted swole got her on bankroll can't fold just a note headshot case closed
