Starting point is 00:00:00 I told my teacher, dumb bitch, I'm gonna get millions. Watch this. In a project living, spoke it to existence. Voila. Mode changed to 50. Got more cars than did it. I only weigh 180, but my watch cost 250. Yo, guys, it's Andy Priscilla, and this is the show for the realest.
Starting point is 00:00:16 Say goodbye to the lies, the fakeness, and delusions of modern society, and welcome to motherfucking reality. Hey, listen, guys, today is a short real talk episode. Before I get into what I want to talk about here, I wanted to say sincerely from my heart, thank you guys for all the great support that you've shown. We live in crazy times, man. There's a lot of stuff going on. That's making a lot of us feel anxious. Uh, a lot of us feel depressed.
Starting point is 00:00:49 A lot of us feel off. Uh, you know, a lot of us are mad at literally everybody and we're trying to poke holes and take swipes and, you know, put negativity out. I'd like to remind you guys, you know, number one, you're going to get back whatever you put out. So whatever you put out there, even in the smallest way, it's coming back. And I would encourage you guys to make it a point during this time when you're feeling anxious and you're feeling frustrated and you're feeling upset to make it a conscious effort to put out positivity. All right. Because that is going to come back to you. And as small as that is, as small as it is
Starting point is 00:01:32 to say hi to someone, uh, and pay them a compliment that you wouldn't normally, or to do something nice for someone, um, guys, those things help build how we feel on a daily basis. And so, you know, a lot of you guys have hit me up and you're saying, man, I'm just so depressed. I'm just so down. I can't figure out why I feel so down. Well, look, man, I, I've talked to everybody I know, and everybody feels this overwhelming feeling of like uncertainty and
Starting point is 00:02:06 anxiety. You're not alone in that. We all feel that. All right. It's not just you. And so before I get into what I'm going to talk about, which is actually about business, I'd like to remind you guys, you know, what you put out really affects not only you, but the world.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Okay. And when you put out good in the world, the world will give you good back. All right. I'm a firm believer in that. I know it works. And I encourage you guys to be of that mindset during these times. And then the second thing, if you're really struggling, if you're really don't know what to do right now, take this time and focus on what you can control. This is why I'm so happy that on March 9th, I started 75 hard because throughout all this chaos, throughout all this crazy shit going on, I've been able to, instead of be overwhelmed by all these circumstances that I can't control, none of us can directly, right? We can as a group,
Starting point is 00:03:05 but not individually. I've been able to maintain a sense of peace. I've been able to maintain a sense of progress. I've been able to maintain a sense of organization and direction. And right now with everybody feeling lost, you know, people are looking for things to do. And a lot of people are turning to things that are just making them worse, you know, and look, I'm all about having some cold beers. I love beers. All right. But the thing is, guys, is during times like these, when, when it's uncertain and when, when things are very, very, very confusing, it's important that we control what it is we can control. And so if you're one of these people right now who's feeling overly anxious and overly
Starting point is 00:03:48 Almost like down or depressed about what's going on in the world and you feel like you're getting bombarded with negativity I would encourage you to find a project To work on that works on you. All right now now 75 hard is my program. It's free. I don't sell it. I'd recommend that because I believe in it a hundred percent. I know it works. I know it's fucking great. And the results speak for themselves. Go search the 75 hard hashtag. But if you're not going to do 75 hard, pick something that you can help improve you that you can control on a daily basis because getting this momentum in the right direction for you is going to be paramount to you not feeling these feelings that you're feeling so dude i just wanted to say that because i've gotten so many
Starting point is 00:04:39 messages guys from people who are just like fuck i am so am so down. I'm so confused. I'm so frustrated. I'm so angry. And guys, I am too. But if it wasn't for the 75 hard, and now I'm in the middle of phase one, it would have been a lot worse. That's the truth. So, um, you know, if you're one of these people, take a minute and decide, you know, and, and, and if you don't know what to do, do 75 hard. I just push you that way. It's going to fix a lot of the things that you've had as issues over your whole life and you could fix them and become better as you move forward through these difficult times when everybody else is sort of like throwing in the towel and saying, fuck it.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I'll wait till this is all over. Well, when's that going to be? How long are you going to be waiting? You see what I'm saying? So guys, make it an effort to do something good right now for you, because that's all we can control. Now that's my little intro. And I just wanted to speak because I'm getting so many messages from people about that, but I do have something I want to talk about today and it has to do with business. I haven't talked about business too much lately because, dude, honestly, people are interested in hearing about business right now.
Starting point is 00:05:50 People are interested in hearing about what's going on and trying to figure out what is going on. And I've done my best to try to direct you guys and places to look. And some of you have gone and looked at some of you haven't. Some of you criticize me and say I'm conspiracy theorists. I'm not at all. I'm just open to seeing all the different options that are out there. And I'm presenting questions and options for you to look into as well. So, uh, if you support that level of thinking, like, Hey, I'm open to like looking into things or if you don't, it's, it's irrelevant to me. It's just impossible to
Starting point is 00:06:25 talk about business when everything else is fucked up. But I do have something that I think everybody needs to hear when it comes to building a brand. A lot of you guys are really focusing right now on trying to build your personal brand because you've realized that we don't know what's going to happen with the economy. We don't know if you're going to have an actual job to go to. We don't know if they're going to shut down everything again. It looks like they are just like I've told you they would the whole time, but there's uncertainty. So a lot of people are trying to build their own thing. And I just want to revisit something that I think is super relevant to younger entrepreneurs. And when I say younger, I mean people who are new to the game. And when I say entrepreneur, I mean if you're trying to build your personal brand too,
Starting point is 00:07:12 okay? This goes hand in hand. Whether you're starting a company, whether you're starting a personal brand, it doesn't matter what you're starting. It is important that you understand the next few points that I'm about to talk about. All right. When you start out in business, it is very, very hard to get anything going. And it's very tempting as a young business owner or young entrepreneur or young influencer to want to see someone out there who you think is getting it done, right? They're where you want to be, sort of, and to talk shit on them publicly. And I want to talk to you guys about why that's a terrible strategy and why it will actually keep you from getting where you want to go.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Now, remember, I've been doing this for a long time. This is my 22nd year in business, all right? I understand how this works very well. And so when you're new and you're in the game and you might be a couple years in, you might have a million or $2 in sales and you might think you're figuring it out, but I could tell you, you'll never get to that 10, 12, 50, 80, 200, $500 million mark and more without obeying what I'm about to talk about. And I'm going to tell you why. So it's very tempting for us to talk shit when we don't have anything going for everybody. It's very tempting for us to say, well, look at that fucking guy. He's not as good as me, blah, blah, blah. He may not be, but apparently something he's doing is working and he's probably
Starting point is 00:08:46 been doing it longer than you. And he's probably in a place for a reason that you want to be. All right. So the first reason you don't want to talk shit on the person is this. It brings unnecessary attention to the competition. Now, if you're a little brand, all right, and you start procuring and developing and bringing in your own customers, these customers are your customers. And the minute you open your mouth and you mention another brand or another product or another company or another person, you're going to pique their curiosity. And you think that because you're talking badly or negatively about that
Starting point is 00:09:25 person, that they're going to also believe you, but they're not. What they're going to do is they're going to go look and they're going to say, well, why does Tony think this and this and this about so-and-so, right? And then they're going to go see what this company's about or what this person's about. And guess what might happen? They might like that person more than you. They might like that company more than you. They might like that company more than you. They might like their products more than you. And then what'd you do? You just gave away one of your customers that you worked really hard to get. And this happens every day. This keeps small businesses small every day. All right. So rule number one, never bring unnecessary attention to your competition. Okay. Rule number two, when you talk shit and you think that your customers are like, yeah,
Starting point is 00:10:09 really what they're saying behind the scenes is fuck, dude. Why is this guy so worried about this other guy? Why is this guy so obsessed with these other guys? They must have something that he doesn't. And customers are smart and they see that. And so when you unnecessarily draw negative attention to these other brands, people will go out. This is not 2012 where people just jumped on the train and believed anything you said. This is 2020.
Starting point is 00:10:38 All right. And what happens is people go out and they do their own homework. They do their own research. And usually what they find out is that you're full of shit. And that the reason you're talking bad about them is because you're jealous. And they can recognize that you're trying to emulate a bunch of things that they're doing, but then also talking shit on that person, which makes no sense to the customer. And they ultimately end up seeing you as insecure, inferior version of that brand, of that person, of that influencer. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:06 So that's point number two. The customers hate it and they're smart and they figure out why you're doing it. Point number three, here's the thing that you really have to be careful about when talking shit. And this, I think this point keeps people or puts more people out of business than really any of the other points that I'm going to cover here. If you get on a bigger company's radar, okay, they have more resources than you. They have a bigger audience than you. They have more money than you. They have a bigger reputation than you. Those things, they probably have bigger supply chains. They probably have the ability to
Starting point is 00:11:43 do things that you can't do. And they probably have the ability to do things that you can't do. And they probably have the ability to do them a lot faster. So when you talk bad about another company and then you end up getting on their radar, a lot of times those companies will just come up with ways to make shit hard for you. Try to do everything they can to make your life difficult just because they can. This happens all the time in business. Okay. So you never want to get on somebody's radar that you, that has more power than you. It's a, it's a smart strategic move.
Starting point is 00:12:17 All right. And a lot of you guys don't think about that. You don't realize that if a big company takes a little company and takes their idea and brings it to market, it's not your idea anymore. It's their idea. You don't understand that. So stop getting yourself unnecessarily on people's radar that have the power to basically take everything from you in a business sense. It's not good business. It's terrible fucking business. All right. And fourth, and by the way, third, that reason right there is what really, it either costs you for moving up or it'll put you out of business and you won't be able to figure out why you'll be able, you'll be sitting there. All these things keep happening to you.
Starting point is 00:13:02 And you'll be thinking, what the fuck? Why is my ad spend going up? Why is this company doing this? Why are my products not getting? Because dude, the other company saw what you were doing and then took it right from you and went and put it into play. And you can't recognize that. So guys, stay off other companies' radars. And here's the fourth point.
Starting point is 00:13:22 The fourth point I think is the most important point here. All right. One day when you get big, which you will, if you keep working hard, if you keep your head down, you keep your mouth shut and you do what you can do to be the best you can, you will garner some piece of the pie. And if you're smart and you can learn from your mistakes and you're willing to endure, you're going to be able to build that into a significant piece of the pie. And when you build that into the significant piece of the pie, you're going to get on some of these big companies radars as default. Now that's not a bad thing because at the top level of business, most of these bigger companies, they work together.
Starting point is 00:14:06 The CEOs, they're friends. The CEOs are hanging out on the weekends talking about how they're going to do this and this and how they're going to help each other continue to win. And a lot of you guys don't understand that. At small business level, it's a lot of shit talking. It's a lot of boo-hoo and it's a lot of, you know, Oh, you know, Tony's doing this and this and this, and Nick's doing this and this and this, and Andy's doing this and this and this and dude, and that's what small business is. And that's why it stays small. All right. But when you get up into the big leagues where you're trying to get to, there might come a time where you want to be friends with that guy that you hate right now for no other reason than he's where you want to be. and you're not.
Starting point is 00:14:51 So the problem with this is, is that when you get to a point, let's say you go out and get to a point where you're respected, you have a big piece of the pie and you're on the radar of the market leader or whatever, right? And you say, well, fuck, I want to really go meet that guy. I don't want to talk to him. They're going to remember those swipes you took because they see them even though they may not acknowledge them. And what's going to happen? They're going to say no to your meeting. They're not going to work with you. You're not going to get in the quote unquote club. And then you're going to have a problem because now you're stuck in the middle. You don't have anybody to work with. You don't have anybody that'll do you any favors. You don't have anybody that'll help you or consult you or teach you how to do anything more than what you know how to do. And what are you? You're dead in the water. All right. Business comes from people. People make
Starting point is 00:15:36 the business happen. You have to remember that behind every company you talk shit on, there's a competitive motherfucker back behind it that is paying attention to what you're saying, no matter how big or small you think you might be. And when you talk trash on people, they decide they don't want to work with you. And then what? What if one of those companies was the company that was going to come in and buy you out so you could exit?
Starting point is 00:16:03 What if one of those companies owns another company that could sell your products all over the world? What if one of those companies could manufacture something for you? You're severely limiting your options by doing these kinds of behaviors, guys, and it kills more small business than any other point. Talking shit kills more small business and keeps more businesses small and keeps them financially struggling than any other point. And if you do it, you're, you know, you're welcome to do it. But if you do it, I think you're pretty stupid because there's a lot of very smart reasons as to why not to. And all it takes is you humbling yourself and saying, yeah, you know, I am being a little bit jealous. You know, that guy's where I want to be. I want to be like that.
Starting point is 00:16:51 What can I learn from him? How can I be like him? You don't have to hate people like that, guys. It's okay. It's okay to emulate. It's okay to learn from. It's okay to look at and admire, even if they're in the same space. Okay. There's plenty of people I look up to in my business that are better at what they do than I am in all my businesses. Okay. And I respect those people.
Starting point is 00:17:16 And guess what? I'm friends with those people. You know why I'm friends with those people? Because they're good people and they help us win. This is how business works. So you need to work on switching your mindset from the little beginner business level and start thinking like a big time CEO right now, because the sooner that you get this shit out of your system, the faster everything is going to go for you. All right.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Now, with that being said, I know I haven't talked about business a lot, but I would like to remind you guys that Arte Syndicate, Ed and I's entrepreneurship network that we run, Ed, Mylet, and I, that is basically where we do all of our business coaching, has open applications, and they will be open for, I think, another week. So if you're interested in getting direct business coaching from Ed, Mylet, and myself, we don't do it anywhere else. All right. Yeah, we do our free podcast. Yes, we do the free content, but the truth is where you get in deep and how you learn about business from us, the only way to do it is through RTA Syndicate. Now we don't take everybody. Not everybody gets approved, but if you're interested in joining it, applications open once a year, they are open right now. You go to rtasyndicate.com if you're interested in joining it, applications open once a year. They are open right now. You go to rtsyndicate.com and you're going to get not only coaching directly from Ed
Starting point is 00:18:32 and I, but you're going to be plugged into a network of entrepreneurs that are successful globally all over the planet in all different industries. I will go on record and say it is the most powerful entrepreneurship network in the world. So if you're looking for a network, if you're having trouble connecting with other business people, if you're having trouble getting the information from real entrepreneurs who have actually built real companies, this would be something that you could consider applying to. All right. Now, like I said, it's limited. Not everybody gets in, but if you're somebody who stands for the right values, if you're somebody who's hungry and willing to learn
Starting point is 00:19:09 and put their ego aside and get better and meet other people of that mindset, it's a hell of an opportunity. And anybody who's been through the program will tell you the same. So I want to remind you guys, you know, we don't run ads on the show. We don't, uh, run ads for the show. Our show is completely organic in its growth. And, um, we depend on you guys to spread the message. That's just what we believe in. We believe that if we do a good job, if we, if we give you info that you think is good, the show will grow because you'll share it. Uh, our show grows by basically three different ways one you talking about it two you posting about it and three uh you hitting subscribe and leaving us a review on uh for each episode that
Starting point is 00:19:52 you think was good so we have this thing here called the fee and the fee is basically this if you like the show if you learn something from the show if you got something from the show if it made you switch your perspective that made you think if it made you switch your perspective, if it made you think, if it helped you get better, uh, really in any way we ask that, you know, you leave us a good review for that episode. And then also, you know, give us a little share, a little love with your friends and that's it. So anyway, that's the show for you guys. Remember talking shit is what amateurs do. Talking shit is what losers do. Losers talk shit. Winners do shit.
