Told my teacher, dumb bitch, I'm gonna get millions
In the project livin', spoke it to the existence
Mode changed to 50, got more cars than diddy
I only weigh 180, but my watch cost 250
Guys, I cannot be the only one who is sick and fucking tired
I don't mean like sick with COVID or H1N1
Or the swine flu or the bird flu or the fucking
tick flu.
I mean, I am legitimately sick and tired of all the people in our culture who are contentious.
Okay.
You know what contentious means?
It means antagonistic.
It means combative.
It means argumentative.
It means disagreeable.
Maybe that's the word, disagreeable.
A disagreeable person is someone who literally turns everything you say or do into an insult
or a fight.
Hey, how are you doing?
Do you even really care how I'm doing?
Are you just asking because you feel guilty?
Hey, you look really nice today.
What?
I don't look good every day?
Hey, one of the buttons on your shirt is undone. You fucking pervert. Why are you looking at me
like that? You guys all know what I'm talking about. These people wake up with a scowl on
their face. They think the world's out to get them. You can't really talk about anything that
have any real significance because they're sensitive as
fuck. They think everything you say is offensive. Everything you say is oppressive and that you
should be silenced. And I think the word right now is canceled. But at the same time, they feel
completely comfortable making broad generalizations about people. They feel like it's their right to tell you how to think,
to tell you how to act, to tell you how to vote. Like literally their attitude is,
I have the right to bitch and whine and accuse you of all sorts of things and tell you how to live
because you victimized me in some way, but you don't have the right to respond. You don't have the right to question my
beliefs. You don't have a right to ask me about the facts that drew me to this conclusion. You
don't have the right to ask me whether I've actually thought through my opinions.
I have the right though, to be sensitive and I have the right to be offended. And I have the right though to be sensitive and I have the right to be offended and I have the
right to be angry and attack you and try to take everything away from you. And you have nothing
but the right to remain fucking silent. We all know people like this. And unfortunately,
this isn't just a small group of people anymore. There's more of these
people in America than there are people in your neighborhood. There's more of these people in
America than there are people in your hometown or even your state. There are millions of people
out there like this right now, and it's destroying our culture. And I'm sick of it. I'm sick to my stomach and I'm sick to my fucking soul.
These people are weaponizing every single issue we face as a country. They are forcing the average
American to think in terms exclusively of us versus them. Take COVID. It's the people who
care about the health versus the people who care about the economy.
No, no, no.
You can't care about both.
You have to pick a side.
You're not just an American either, by the way.
You're either a black or a white man or a woman or gay or straight or Christian or atheist.
And once you choose what you are, those battle lines are drawn.
They're set in stone.
If you're white and you don't want to defund the police, guess what?
You're a racist.
If you're gay, but you don't think a Christian baker should be forced to bake a cake for a gay wedding,
you're a traitor to the LGBTQ community.
You can't agree with Trump on a matter of policy.
Otherwise, you're a white supremacist racist.
You can't think Barack Obama would be cool as fuck to have a beer with.
Otherwise, you're a left-wing nut job.
Are you guys sick of this shit yet?
Because I am.
I'm sick of the media ignoring the hundreds of thousands of officers who risk their lives every single day for people of all colors,
but instead zero in on the handful of bad, crazy, racist officers who abuse their authority.
I'm sick of the hyper conservative politicians who ignore the fact that the vast majority of
the black community protests peacefully, but
they make sure to highlight that one protest to turn into a riot, don't they?
And why do they do this?
It couldn't be just so they could fire up their voter base and become the candidate
for law and order.
You know what else I'm sick of?
I'm sick of people who have absolutely nothing to do with a particular group of people feeling the need to tell these people how to live. Every state has its own unique situation and circumstances. The people of California should not be forcing their political policies and beliefs on the people of Missouri. The people of Missouri should not be forcing their political policies and
beliefs on the people of California. If the sunshine state wants to tax the fuck out of
their businesses for that extra sunshine, that's their decision and it's your decision to live
there. If the show me state wants to have open carry laws, guess what? We can do that here, all right?
Why do we have so many people weighing in on these issues
that have nothing to fucking do with them?
Why can't you just do you and me do me?
Why can't we leave each other alone
and work in harmony towards progress?
But that's the problem, isn't it?
People don't want to focus on their own shit these days.
They don't want to take care of their own lives. People don't want to say, hey, look, man,
life is hard for all of us. I'm just trying to do the best I can. They don't want to say,
yeah, I might not agree with everything that guy says. We might have some major differences,
but man, I don't wish ill on them. I want them to be happy and successful. I hope they do well. No, that's not what we do in America
anymore. They don't want to say that. That would be too mature. That would be too adult. That would
be the attitude you would have if you were an actual reasonable human, a good person, a person
committed to bettering themselves, a person committed to excellence. Instead, they position themselves as the victim, as the offended,
as the oppressed. And you, no matter who you are listening right now, you are the enemy.
That's how these people think. These people are only happy if they're whining about something.
They're only happy if they're attacking about something. They're only fulfilled if they have
someone to blame. And guess who that is? That's
you. That's why they do everything they can to see the world in terms of us versus them,
the haves versus the have-nots, the oppressed versus the oppressor. That's why they do everything
they can to divide us up into little bitty categories so they can stroke the discontent until we're so mad at each other
that we can't have a motherfucking conversation. And I'm sick of it. I'm genuinely sick of it.
What's happening in our culture, this is not America. It's happening because the victims
and the discontent of the people who want to divide us are actually speaking up. And the discontent of the people who want to divide us are actually speaking up.
And the people who think otherwise, the people who believe in the Constitution of the United States,
the people who believe all men are created equal,
the people who believe in everything that this country stands for are saying nothing.
The truly successful, satisfied people in this country, they're called the silent majority.
Silence isn't an option anymore.
We have to speak up. We have to start being more aggressive and having conversations with people
about the things that unite us and convince them that those things outweigh the things that divide us because they do.
We have to dismantle this notion that if we disagree, we're enemies and we must hate each other.
We have to completely obliterate the narrative in our culture that makes us think that if I don't support something that you don't support, we have to hate each other.
We're evil and we must be canceled.
I'm telling you this right now.
If we don't get a hold of this sickness, guys, that's spreading through our culture, this us versus them, ridiculously illogical virus.
Disagree with me or fuck you bullshit. It's going to tear
our country apart. And I mean completely. And we're all going to lose. There's so much to say
on this topic. I could do a whole full length podcast on just this and I probably will.
But for now, let me just say this. You want to be a part of the solution? Focus on
yourself. Hold yourself to a higher standard than you hold other people. Expect more of yourself
than you do of someone else. If you're going to be critical of anybody, be critical of the man
or the woman looking at you in the mirror. Give people the benefit of the doubt. The bad apples we see on
TV and social media, that's not the majority of people in the world or even the majority of the
people in this country. Most of us are genuinely good people who are trying to do our best. We're
trying to figure out what we believe and figure out the core values that matter to us most.
Even if you run into someone who seems to be cranky and disagreeable,
remember they're human.
You might've caught them at a bad time.
Maybe their parents just died.
Maybe they just got fired. There's a lot of things going on in this country right now.
Remember that social media with this quick 30-second videos is
really good at catching people at their worst moments without any context. Remind yourself,
hey man, this shit's hard for all of us. Maybe that guy or girl, maybe they're overwhelmed by
life right now. There's a lot of that going around. Do what you can to make these people's
day a little bit better. don't assume they are your
enemy don't let yourself be a pawn of the cnn's or the fox or the msnbc's of the world okay don't
let yourself be played by the political parties remind yourself you're both human you both have
strengths and weaknesses whatever you do don't make our already shitty situation in America worse by being a shitty human.
Do what you can to refuse the either or mentality and do what you can to emphasize what we all have in common.
You don't have to choose between valuing black people and valuing the police.
You don't have to choose between wanting to secure borders and caring about immigration.
You don't have to choose between recognizing the threat of a virus and recognizing the threat of shutting down the fucking world.
A house divided against itself cannot stand.
You know who said that?
Abraham Lincoln.
You know who said it before him?
Jesus.
Don't let them divide us into black and white.
Don't let them divide us into gay or straight.
Don't let them divide us into Republican or Democrat, religious or atheist.
Do everything you can to say, hey, we're all human. We all struggle. We all fail. We all do
dumb shit and we all do amazing shit. We all want to be successful and happy and so ask yourself How can I make today?
Better for another human being whether they're exactly like me or different as night and day
I'm sick of it guys
I'm sick
And I know you are too
But go do what I just said because that's the beginning
That's when things will start to change when you But go do what I just said, because that's the beginning.
That's when things will start to change.
When you start to change, when you start to change, your environment will get better.
That's the cure for this.
The cure for this sickness that's destroying our culture and our ability to unite.
It starts with you and it ends with you.
