I can stack them hundreds to the roof. I ain't stopping till they stack to the moon.
Without me, my family wouldn't have food. Anybody go against me, gotta lose.
What is up, guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy. I'm your host.
I am the motherfucking CEO.
Guys, today is Thursday Thunder, and I've got something special for you.
But before I get into that, a couple housekeeping things.
First off, I appreciate everybody's dedication to the two-minute drill.
Okay, the 100 to 0 hashtag, etc.
But I want to be real with you.
I feel like it's keeping people from commenting real shit.
Okay? I feel like it's keeping people from commenting real shit. Okay. Um, so we're going to change
the two minute drill just a little bit. So instead of just asking you guys to hashtag 100 to zero
and picking winners, uh, based upon that, uh, that's not what I'm going to do anymore. What
I'm going to do is I'm going to pick people who have useful shit to say. I want a relevant comment
after the 100 to zero, whether it be about the post, whether it be about the latest podcast,
whether it be about the progress you're making, et cetera. But I feel like what's happened and,
you know, this is a part of business. Sometimes you try things and they don't work out the way
you want. I feel like what has happened is it's created a situation where some people are just hashtagging that for free shit. And that's
not what this is about. Okay. That's not what this movement's about. I love to give you stuff.
I love to reward people, but I want to reward people that contribute for real. So, um,
the two minute drill will stay the same. And as you know, I really don't follow my own rules.
Uh, so like two minutes or five minutes or 10 minutes. Um, sometimes I just, I find myself
picking winners anyway, who have good stuff to say, whether they're in that first two minutes
or not. So the best thing to do guys is to, uh, you know, set your, your alerts on so that you get notified. And then also
what I'm going to ask people to do is like, dude, hashtag 100 zero, but leave me a comment,
you know, say something that, you know, that matters to you, be relevant, get involved in
the conversation. And what we're really looking to do here, guys, is create a community of like
minded people. And I'm going to start giving the Skypes,
the admission to the new academy, the books, the gear, all the shit that we're giving away to people who aren't really involved. And so that's the first change that we're going to make
amongst a few changes coming up. But as for right now, that's how the two-minute drill is going to
work from now on. I really appreciate you guys
participating. It means a lot, but I don't want it to water down by just having people randomly
hashtag it because they want some free shit. All right. And I realized this is probably going to
cut down on the number of comments. That's okay with me. This is not for everybody. I want people
who are really learning, who are really communicating, who are really involved
and who really care. And most importantly, who are really fucking taking the information and
going out and doing it. All right. So guys, that's going to be the change. A hundred to zero
plus a comment. And those are the people that are, that are going to get picked. Um,
again, turn on your post notifications, Instagram's severely limiting who gets to see what,
et cetera. So that's the change for that. Now, before I get into what I'm going to talk about
today, because it's a little different, I want to share something with you guys. I get asked a lot
about my tattoos. People are like, what are your tattoos? What do they mean? What are they tattoos? Well, almost all of my tattoos are from Greek and Roman mythology. I'm kind of a nerd in that
aspect. Uh, and so is Vaughn and well, Vaughn's just a nerd, but, uh, Vaughn and I get to get
in these discussions about Greek mythology all the time. And it's pretty interesting because as different as we are,
we're really a lot of ways the same.
So I want to talk to you a little bit about some of this stuff today
because I think it relates really well to what's going on in the world.
So I want you to do me a favor.
I want you to reach in your wallet and take out a dollar bill.
Look at it closely.
What do you see?
If you look at it long enough, you're going to see the words, in God we trust, written on it. That's in the news
right now. Some people feel that we should take that off our money. Some people feel very strongly
that we should keep it on. I'm not getting into that debate. What I will say is the reason that
phrase was put on there in the first place was because the people who
started America were people who believed in God, just like the vast majority of people on this
planet believe in God. However they define God, they believe that there's someone or something
out there, some higher power, some force in the universe, something, but it's something good.
And they believe in that higher power.
That's something good in the universe.
They believe in being good people, and they believe that they should live their lives
so that they become a force for good.
There are a lot of people out there who want to be good people, aren't there?
But how many of those people are a true force for good? Now look at the dollar bill again.
What do you see? If you look long enough, you're going to see an Eagle. That's a symbol of America,
right? Well, long before it was a symbol of America, it was a symbol for something else.
One of the greatest empires in the history of earth, the Roman empire,
the Romans fucking dominated everything. At one point they had conquered over 25%
of the world's population. They were the smartest, the brightest, the most innovative and accomplished
people on the planet. What made the Romans so amazing wasn't that they came up with all the
best ideas. What made them amazing was that they took the best ideas and made them better.
One of those ideas they borrowed from the Greeks. It was the concept of arete. Arete comes from
Ares, the Greek god of war. So there's this association with war and battle and conquest, but generally
the word arete means excellence. In the ancient writings of the Greeks, the heroes were always
people of arete. In the Iliad, Achilles was the greatest warrior. He was a battle machine,
physically superior to everyone. He possessed the greatest arete.
In another ancient Greek story, the Odyssey, the hero who has the most arete is Odysseus,
but he possesses far more than just physical excellence.
He totally dominates when it comes to his ability to communicate, think, and lead.
When it comes to being a person of intelligence
and influence, he has the highest arete. So what happened was for the Greeks, arete came to mean
not just being an exceptional physical specimen like Achilles, but also the total package as a
person like Odysseus. Fight, think, speak, do everything
in a totally dominating fashion.
That's what it means to live with Arete.
So back to your dollar bill.
In God we trust, the eagle of Rome.
Put it together.
Be a force for good.
And be a certified dominator in all that you do.
Isn't it interesting that both of those things
are printed on money? In my experience, that makes perfect sense. When you're a good person,
when you're connected to God and want to be a force for good, when you provide real value to
the world, and when you go above and beyond everyone else's level of excellence, that's
when you become wealthy. That's when you make money. That's when
you make an impact. That's what it means to truly become successful. That's what it means to live
with Arete. Oh, and remember that I said the Romans would take other people's ideas and make
them better? Well, they did that even with the Greek idea of Arete. To the Romans, it wasn't
just becoming physically dominant. It wasn't just becoming a master thinker and communicator, influencer, and leader.
The Romans wrote their own ancient story. It's called Aeneid. And in that story, the hero Aeneas
has one main quality. He's 1000% faithful and committed not to himself, but to Rome.
His excellence was that he was committed to a community
that he considered bigger than himself.
You see, the reason the Greeks were conquered by the Romans
was that the Greeks were excellent,
but they were all divided.
They were out for themselves.
They were fighting amongst themselves.
But the Romans found strength in numbers.
They knew that as impressive as the Greeks were as individuals,
if the Romans bound together,
they would be totally united in something bigger than themselves
and would become unstoppable.
That's how they took Arete to the next level.
Now back to money. Are you looking
at that dollar bill? Because you should be. You know what else is written on that dollar bill?
The phrase, e pluribus unum, out of many, one. You get it yet? Become a force for good. Become
a certified dominator in everything you do, creating wealth and success and uniting with other people who
want to do the same thing. That whole philosophy created, in my opinion, what is the greatest
country in the history of earth. And guess what? It's getting back to that same philosophy and
approach to life, returning to that mindset that's going to restore greatness in our nation
and our culture. Actually, the truth is the philosophy of Arate is what can restore greatness,
not just to America, but to any country on the planet. It can make every country on the planet
great and not just every country, but every person. It can make you great. A force for good.
A certified dominator in everything that you do. A person of wealth. A person of success.
The person that you were born to be. Guys, we are creating a whole movement of people committed and driven by Arte.
This is why we started this podcast.
This is why it's called the MFCEO Project.
100 to zero, that's just a modern way of saying Arte.
All right?
I don't do this for the people who talk about it. I don't do it for the success zombies.
I don't do it for the dreamers.
I don't do it for people who one day
or someday are going to do something. I do it for the 2% of you listening right now who are going
to go out, take the information that we've given you and fucking execute. I do it so that you guys
can learn to be a fucking weapon when it comes to being successful, being an entrepreneur,
moving forward, and creating the person you were born to be. It all starts with Arete.
We've started something. You've got to go fucking finish it. you
