REAL AF with Andy Frisella - Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven, But Nobody Wants to Die, with Andy Frisella - MFCEO246

Episode Date: July 13, 2018

Most people who want to be millionaires don't see the connection between today & someday. Young kids don't think that killing it at their job at Burger King has anything to do with making millions in ...the future. Adults don't think how they cut their grass or wipe their @ss has anything to do with achieving their "dream life." The people who *actually* become wealthy are different. They recognize the link between now & later & they make every effort & sacrifice RIGHT NOW. They die to live the good lifeĀ

Starting point is 00:00:00 I can stack them hundreds to the roof. I ain't stopping till they stack to the moon. Without me, my family wouldn't have food. Anybody go against me, gotta lose. What is up, guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy. I'm your host, and I am the motherfucking CEO. Guys, the goal of this movement, and this is a movement, it's not just a podcast. We could be categorized under business, we could be categorized under self-help, we could be categorized under personal development, or a bunch of other motherfucking shit. But the truth is, is this is a fucking movement. And the goal of this movement is to get you to understand that you were meant to be the motherfucking CEO of your life.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Today I'm going to talk about something that should be obvious, but it's not obvious because I see it every day. I see it in the DMs I get. I see it in the questions that some of y'all ask. I see it in my own employees and the way that they conduct themselves sometimes. Okay. Not all of them. We have an amazing team here, but I'm saying this is something that has to do with younger people. Okay. I read a study and I can't remember where I read it. So I might misquote it, but you'll get the point. Back in the 1950s, 12% of the people felt that they would become a millionaire in their life. And of the 12%, 10% of the 12% had an actual plan to become that. Now, they polled people recently with the same question, and over 80% of the people expected that they were going to become a millionaire. But less than 2% of those 80% had an actual plan.
Starting point is 00:01:58 What the fuck do you think that means? Well, I'm going to tell you what it means, because I see it every day in the shit that a lot of you guys say and the way you behave. What it means is this. You think that whatever you're doing right now, whatever it is you do for a job, whatever habits you have, whatever it is that you are doing right at this moment, you believe that it doesn't actually matter. And that no matter what happens, you're eventually going to figure it out. And you're eventually just going to become successful. And then it's just going to quote unquote materialize and come together. And guys, I'm going to tell you that couldn't
Starting point is 00:02:48 be further from the fucking truth. The truth is, as I've told you over and over and over again, but some of you refuse to listen, is that what you're doing now, no matter how insignificant it might seem, no matter how dead end it might seem, no matter how pointless it might seem, is shaping your habits for the future. A lot of you guys are under the age of 25 and you're doing jobs that you don't feel you have a future in. And if you're lucky enough to be in a company like my companies, where the ownership actually works to create careers for the people who are 20 and 21 and 22 and 23 or whatever the fuck your age is. And you don't think that the bottom level job that you have to do at the beginning is pertinent or important to your development. And you actually becoming a millionaire is ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Because we've all heard the saying, how you do one thing is how you do everything. And that is the fucking truth. No matter if you're cooking fucking French fries or making Big Macs or sweeping the fucking warehouse floor, your job right now and how you execute that job, the level of excellence that you put into that job is going to create the habits. It's going to create the success habits that you're going to need down the road. And you young motherfuckers have such a hard time understanding this. You think I'm speaking some fucking crazy shit, like I'm pulling some rainbows and unicorns bullshit out of the
Starting point is 00:04:47 clouds and trying to throw some sort of like, like I'm not being literal with what I say. No, I'm being fucking literal. If you can't sweep the fucking floor and you can't pull the little pieces of tape off the floor and you can't sweep the fucking floor better than the next guy next to you and you can't do that job perfectly and better than everybody else, what makes you fucking think that you're going to be able to all of a sudden turn this shit on when the opportunity presents itself? You're not. See, becoming successful is a situation of developing certain habits, discipline, persistence, patience, grit, character traits that you don't just get. You are not fucking born with leadership, management of other people, how to sell skills that you aren't just born with. See, you guys think that you're going to fucking sit in your job and you're going to do a half-ass job and you're going to do it half-ass and eventually someone's going to come along and say,
Starting point is 00:05:58 why don't you become this in the company and this being some important role that's high paying and that's not going to happen. And you guys, for some reason, your generation thinks that that is going to happen and that's not how it works. You guys laugh when I say, if you leave piss droplets on the toilet seat, you're never going to be successful. That's the fucking truth. That's literal. I'm being literal when I say that. If you are so fucking lazy and so inconsiderate and take so little pride in the details of you that you're going to leave a piss droplet on the motherfucking toilet seat, you will
Starting point is 00:06:43 never, ever, ever have what it takes to be successful. And that's the fucking truth. Success, money, all the shit that you guys are out there trying to get, it doesn't just happen. It's not going to just materialize. If you can't master the simple job that you have now, whether that be, like I said, making Big Macs, if you ain't making the best Big Macs in your McDonald's, guess what? You're going to fucking lose a life. If it's making fries, if you ain't making the best motherfucking fries every fucking time because you know that's what's going to contribute to the business and make customers come back to that specific McDonald's, guess what? You ain't going to fucking make it. If you can't sweep the warehouse floor better than the next guy, you ain't going to fucking make it. If you can't manage
Starting point is 00:07:28 your three or four employees and help develop them into fucking winners, guess what? You ain't going to fucking make it because here's the truth. Losers always talk about how they hate to lose, but they don't do anything about it. But you know what winners do? Winners will do whatever the fuck it takes. Winners will show up and stay late every fucking day until they're winning. Winners will talk to anybody they can that can help them and take the lessons to heart and put them in play. Winners will eat fucking dog shit sandwiches every meal of the fucking day. If that means that's what's going to happen is that they're going to win. That's what winners do. Losers talk about hating to lose. Losers say they hate to lose. Losers talk about how they want to win. Winners do what the fuck it takes. And that means beating the next guy. And that's it. It means being better than the next guy. It means dominating
Starting point is 00:08:25 the next guy. It means being the best contributor to your company's mission, whether that mission is to fucking make burgers or sell supplements or build fucking skyscrapers. It don't fucking matter. It's about being the best value. And guess how you be the best value by dominating the motherfucker that stands next to you. If you aren't going to work at your job every day and looking at all the other motherfuckers and thinking, dude, I'm going to beat the shit out of all of you. You don't have what it takes. You don't have it. Winners want to be the best.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Winners have pride in being the best. Winners have pride in being dominant amongst their teammates. You think the fucking football players at Alabama don't want to be better than every other motherfucker on their same motherfucking team first before they go out and dominate the competition? This shit is not going to just happen for you. It is not going to materialize because you do something for X amount of years. A lot of you motherfuckers were brought up by parents who quite frankly haven't accomplished fucking shit in their lives. And you've been told that if you fucking work X amount of years, you'll get promoted X amount of times and you'll make X amount of money. And you know what you'll be doing? You'll be sitting on your fucking driveway, drinking a fucking beer with your neighbors like everybody else. The default of fucking not becoming the best is becoming broke.
Starting point is 00:09:54 It's becoming poor. It's struggling. That's the default. If you aren't working to become the best, you're going to lose so fucking hard that you can't afford to do a fucking thing in your life. You're not going to be okay. You're not just going to get by your parents. Oh, you know what? You'll be okay. Just relax. Enjoy life. It's okay. You got to live your fucking life. You know what motherfucker? I don't care what anybody says. Life is a lot more enjoyable when you don't have to worry about your fucking money. And you can listen to all these fucking liberal hippie motherfuckers out there to tell you this feel good bullshit about how, oh, you know what? There's more to life than this. And there's more to life than that. And there's more to life than
Starting point is 00:10:39 working hard and this and that. Look at their fucking lives. Their fucking lives suck. They say one thing and they fucking live another thing. You can't believe what they post on Instagram. Oh, I'm out in the middle of a fucking field, you know, or I'm out on the lake drinking a Budweiser. I'm out on the golf course doing this. Yeah. But the motherfucker can't pay his bills. Yeah. But his credit score sucks. Yeah. And what's going to, what's he going to do when he's 50 years old? Is he going to be doing the same fucking shit posted on Instagram as an old man? What's cool about that? A lot of you motherfuckers need to
Starting point is 00:11:14 get your fucking heads out of your asses. And that's the bottom line. Shit is not going to fucking materialize. It's not just going to happen. And what you're doing now and the pride you take and what you do now is going to 100% dictate the character traits and the skills that you're going to need to get where it is you say you want to go. And the reason I say where you say you want to go is because a lot of you fuckers say you want to go there, but you don't really want to go there. Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to fucking die.
