Episode Date: November 21, 2017Yes, you learn from losses. But you shouldn't celebrate losses as if they are moral victories. That's not the mindset that is going to propel you to the highest levels of success. True winners hate lo...sing of any kind. You can't just console yourself with the "I did my best" mantra. That is a cop out. It's about going for the W: Every. Single. Time.

What is up guys you're listening to the MFCEO project I'm Andy I'm your host and I am the
motherfucking CEO guys today is Tuesday I've got a short but a very important message for you
but before I get into that, guys,
I want to ask you that if you're listening to this podcast, please make sure you click subscribe.
Okay? We don't charge for this information. I'm not asking you to buy a bunch of shit. I'm not ruining your podcasting time by filling it with a bunch of advertisements like you'll
hear on almost every other podcast. We're simply here to help you. Okay? And a bunch of advertisements like you'll hear on almost every other podcast.
We're simply here to help you, okay? And a lot of people wonder why the MFCEO project,
what that actually means. Well, what it means is it's teaching you how to be the motherfucking CEO of you, okay? You have to understand that the principles of entrepreneurship, whether it be
you actually
own a business, work within a business, or aspire to own a business, or maybe it's your fitness,
maybe it's something else, maybe it's your education, maybe it's a different area of
life completely. But the principles that embody being a motherfucking CEO are principles that are relevant to success in every area of life.
So it doesn't matter if you own a company. Yes, this is an entrepreneurial podcast. Yes,
we are a very high ranked entrepreneurial podcast, but the reason we are high ranked is not because
every single person owns a fucking company. It's because people here want to fucking win.
Okay. And that's what I want to talk to you guys about. All right. All of you listening,
all of you, every single one was born a winner. You're born a winner. Okay. You won the fucking
sperm race. You and a billion other fucking little spermies swam as fast as you fucking could. And guess who won you out of literally hundreds of millions, billions of fucking sperms. You fucking won.
All right. So why is it that if you can win a race amongst a billion fucking sperms,
that you have an issue doing things on a regular basis why where did the
mentality come from that you're not capable of being great where did the mentality come from
that you can't achieve what it is you want to achieve you know we talk about this when you're
little everybody tells you how great you are you You're a cute little kid. You're running around. Yeah, you're shitting your pants, but everybody still loves you anyway.
Everybody says, what are you going to be when you grow up? And you say, oh, fireman. Oh,
president. Oh, I'm going to be an astronaut. And no matter what the fuck you say, everybody says,
hey, that's a great idea. That is awesome. You want to be an astronaut? You should go do that.
But what happens as we get older? We grow up, we go to school, and we tell the other little kids in first grade that we want to be an astronaut. And because some of these other little kids have
shitbag parents who tell them they can't do shit, the other little kids tell you that you're a
fucking idiot for thinking that
you want to be an astronaut. They make fun of you. They push you in a locker. They steal your
fucking lunch money, all the typical shit, right? And they tell us that we can't. And so what do we
do? We stop talking about how great we're going to be. We stop talking about the things that we
want to be. And pretty soon, not only do we stop talking about it,
we stop believing it too. We stop thinking we can do great things. We don't voice great
aspirations anymore because we know what the reaction is going to be. We hold back. And as
we hold back, we're slowly but surely pulling back our own expectations of ourself. And that starts when we're five and
six years old. And then for the next 20 fucking years, we constantly pull back and pull back and
pull back and work to fit in and work to fit into what a bunch of fucking average motherfuckers that hate their lives,
a bunch of people who pretend they have it all figured out,
but in reality are fucking miserable with the life that they've created.
That's what we're working to become.
And some people wake up,
some people realize that this is a losing battle and a bad game to play,
but most people don't. How many times have you not said your actual goals out loud because you
thought you were going to get laughed at or made fun of or told that you were stupid? How many
times have you decided that or told yourself that you're not good enough to do the certain things?
How many times have you made sacrifices or compromises to yourself about what you wanted
to be? Oh, I want to be a doctor. Well, I don't know if I really want to be a doctor. I'll be a
nurse. Oh, well, I don't really want to be a nurse. I'll be a nurse practitioner. Oh, well,
I don't want to be a nurse practitioner. I'll be a nurse's aide. Oh, you know what? I don't
think I'm good enough to be a nurse's aide. I'll volunteer my time at the health office at school.
Like what the fuck? That's what we do. Why are we doing this? Why are you doing this? And what brings this whole little conversation
to light is this. I had someone, and you guys all know about the power list and you use the
power list journals and I appreciate everybody supporting that. I had someone recently DM me
and say to me, Andy, the power list is great.
Even if I don't get my five things done, I'm still doing more than what I did before.
This is fucking awesome. So even when I lose, I'm still winning.
Okay, let me stop you right fucking there because that mentality is the reason you're struggling in life.
If you can't complete five fucking tasks every day and get a W for the day, what the fuck can
you do? We're not talking about 500. We're not talking about 30. We're talking about fucking
five. The whole reason that five tasks is the number is so that you can get those five
things done and have the rest of your day off. You shouldn't be getting losses and you shouldn't be
celebrating losses as some sort of moral fucking victory. That's the mentality that this whole
entire show and the whole entire movement that we've created here
is designed to be against. Fuck your loss. You think it's okay to get fucking two things out
of five and because you wouldn't have done even two, that's some sort of fucking win.
Bro, that's the reason you're losing in the first place.
We're not asking for much.
We're asking for five, not 55.
And I cannot tell you how many people consume this content and still have a mediocre, mediocrity fucking mentality.
How?
How can you think that way after listening to the show for two and a half fucking years? This is about fucking dominating. This isn't about winning.
This isn't about almost winning. It's not about, you know, oh, I lost, but I still won. No,
this is about domination. Because if you can't learn to dominate on your
day-to-day activities amongst yourself, you're going to eventually come up against somebody who
does. And guess what's going to happen? They are going to wipe the fucking floor with you.
That's reality. That's what happens when people take, you know, losses and try to somehow convince themselves that it's a win.
That's why you're fucking losing.
When you lose a fucking day in the powerless, you should be fucking pissed about that.
Not, oh, I fucking happened to lose today. I'm going to get some fucking cupcakes now
and watch rainbow fucking bright. Motherfuckers. What do you think this is about? Why do you think
I've invested hundreds of thousands of dollars of my own fucking money to put this out? Why do I not
take ads? Why don't I ask you for money? Because I fucking care about the mentality of mediocrity being wiped off the face of the fucking earth.
There is no such thing as a moral victory.
There is no such thing as I almost fucking won.
No, you either won or you fucking lost. and the way this system is designed is so that you can look back over six months and say, man,
I fucking won 98% of the time. I'm fucking doing good, and guess what happens when you start
believing, and you can look back and see how much you won, that you really won.
Not only are you making progress, but you're looking back and you're developing confidence.
You're developing belief. You're developing the ability to go back to the way we were when we were kids and set big goals and actually believe you can achieve them. There's a method to this
fucking madness and taking an L and making it into a W is not one of them. This system, episode 107, the power list,
is designed for you to go out
and not just be productive,
but to go out and teach yourself
how to fucking believe again.
And if you're going to take every W
and try to turn it into some moral victory,
you're never going to do that.
I teach you guys a lot of shit.
I talk to you guys about a lot of shit, but the reality is if you don't listen to what
I have to say and you decide to go take what I say and make it into something else, I cannot
guarantee you that that will work.
I cannot tell you that that will work.
And the last thing I want is for you to go out
and use the shit that I say in your own little way
and twist it around and come back and tell me
it doesn't fucking work,
because I know it fucking works.
Getting a W ain't that fucking hard.
You shouldn't be celebrating,
oh, I did a little bit better
than I would have normally done.
Well, that's because you were a fucking loser a fucking week ago.
That's loser fucking mentality.
Oh, I'm getting a little bit better.
Here's your fucking ribbon for 15th place there, Johnny boy.
Motherfucker, there ain't no 15th place ribbons in the real world.
The real world will step on your fucking neck
and laugh about it.
This is a fucking movement.
This is about learning how to win.
This is about creating momentum
and this is most importantly
about creating fucking belief
that the whole entire world will do everything it can
to wipe from your fucking melon. We are here to put you back on track. We are here to get you to
believe in yourself. We are here to teach you how to fucking win and not just win, but fucking
dominate. But I can't do that if you're going to celebrate your fucking losses
like a bitch
