Hey guys, what's up? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy, I'm your host, and
I am the motherfucking CEO. Thursday Thunder time, bitches. Listen up. Here's the deal,
guys. What would you accomplish if you weren't afraid of doing the work?
I want you to think about that. I want you to think long and hard. A lot of people say that
person's lazy. They say that person doesn't like to do things. That person likes to lay around.
That person doesn't do the work, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But I would argue this. I would say there's a lot of people that appear to be lazy that are afraid
of the work. It's not that they don't want to do it. It's that they build it up in their head as
such a gigantic task and such a monumental effort that they are actually afraid of the fucking work.
Think about someone who's overweight, who's 400 or 500 pounds,
and they're afraid to go on a walk or they're afraid to go to the gym. It's not that they don't
want to do it. It's that they are fucking terrified of actually doing it for whatever reason, people
looking at them, feeling uncomfortable, feeling awkward, not knowing what they're doing. And guys, I think all of us possess this at some
level. And I'm here to tell you guys, you will sell yourself tremendously short in life. If you
go through life, afraid of the work. Okay. We can't do great things and become great things.
If we are terrified of the work. True champions in life,
they embrace the work. They embrace the process. They like the sweat. They like the blood. They
like the tears. They don't sit around and think about, you know what, man, I'd like to climb Mount
Everest, but that seems like it would be really a lot of work and take a lot of time. So I'm just
not going to do it. I'm going to do something else.
Why the fuck do we do that?
Why do we do that?
Okay.
You guys have to fucking clear all these pussy ass thoughts out of your mind about yourself,
about your life, about what it is you want to accomplish in your career, in your personal
life, everything guys, good shit takes work.
That's just the way it is. And the hardest things
in life are also usually the most rewarding. So every time you get a thought of how you want to
achieve this great thing or do this great thing, or you say something like this,
wouldn't it be cool to do blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then you don't do that. Guys,
you are selling yourself short of that experience
that will ultimately dim the quality of your life for your entire existence.
We do not live forever.
We don't have unlimited time to do all these great things.
And guess what?
No, you're not going to fucking do it tomorrow.
So why are you not doing it?
It's because you're too big of a pussy to fucking do it tomorrow. So why are you not doing it?
It's because you're too big of a pussy to embrace the fucking work.
All right?
Success is hard.
Good things are hard.
Being a millionaire is fucking hard.
But you know what else is fucking hard?
Being broke as fuck.
Being the guy who could have been, living with regret. Those things
are hard as fuck. Okay. And I would choose the work and success and all the things that come
with it over the regret, the, the, the, the fear, the fucking anxiety of not living up to my
potential any day of the week. But Andy, you know, success is, is, it's a,
it's a toss. It's a ring toss. You know, you might do the work and not get the result. No
motherfucker. You're thinking like an average person. Now you're talking yourself out of the
work in a different way. Okay. Success. Like I've said a trillion fucking times on this podcast, it's an equation of math.
It's a plus B equals fucking C it's one plus one equals fucking two. It's three plus three
equals fucking six. I don't think I need to keep beating this horse. If you do the fucking work,
you will produce the result. Now, will you produce the result in a day? No. Will you
produce the result in a week? No, you won't. But here's what happens. You will move along the path
and you will make mistakes. And when these mistakes happen, you will learn lessons. And
because you learn these lessons, you will not make the same mistake over and over again.
And once you go through enough time and once you go through enough fuck ups, you know enough to actually achieve the result that you're
after. Okay. It is very simple, but so many of you, because society jams, the idea of luck,
of circumstances, of fucking fairy tale stories down your throat, you still believe that it's luck. You still
believe there's the magic godmother fairy of fucking success that comes down and sprinkles,
you know, dollar bills on your fucking head. It doesn't work that way. And you can either choose
to go on with your life buying that story, or you could choose to embrace the fucking work right here, right now,
and move down the path, take your beatings, get better from them, and become what it is
that you are supposed to become. It's your fucking choice, guys. Take it or fucking leave it. Outro Music
