I can stack them hundreds to the roof. I ain't stopping till they stack to the moon.
Without me, my family wouldn't have food. Anybody go against me, gotta lose.
What is up, guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy. I'm your host.
And I am the motherfucking CEO.
Guys, today we have a full-length podcast with my co-host Vaughn, the pastor of disaster,
a.k.a. Vaughn Diesel, a.k.a. Vaughn Bon Jovi, a.k.a. DJ DJ God.
Vaughn Halen.
a.k.a. Vaughn Halen, a.k.a. Vaughn Swoller, a.k.a. Vaughn the Impaler, a.k.a.
Vincent Vaughn Go.
Vincent Vaughn Go.
What's happening, my man?
We're getting ready for Summer Smash.
This week has been insanely busy.
Yes.
But I did make a promise yesterday that I was going to put out a podcast today on 75 hard
and phase one to help people understand what and where and why.
But mainly the what they need to do.
We're having some people finish phase one right now.
Now, a lot of people are probably like, what the fuck are you talking about? Well,
why don't you hand on, what's the episode number we did on 75 Hard there?
Oh, that's a good question. Well, I'm going to look it up in my handy dandy iPhone.
It's going to take me a while.
Yeah. If you haven't listened to the 75 Hard podcast, which is a tactical guide to winning the war with yourself that I did on
March 4th or 5th, you need to go listen to that first. Okay, so that would be the prerequisite
for this episode. On March 4th or 5th, I think the 5th for me, I started what is now known as a
massive global movement called 75 Hard, which is designed very specifically to create the qualities
that you have been looking for your entire life, but haven't been able to find. And the reason you
haven't been able to find them is because no one's ever shown you how to cultivate them. Instead,
they've taught you to think that the qualities of grit, fortitude, the ability to endure,
self-confidence, self-esteem, self-belief, all of these intangible
qualities that create discipline and mental toughness, people have been led to believe
that you are either born with those things or not.
And if you think and pay attention and become aware enough, you will notice that this is
how most self-help people
make their money. They make their money by selling you the idea of you should have these things,
but you don't. So this is what you got to do. And they tell you to do things like affirmations,
or they tell you to do things like read this book, or you should just believe and
you are worth it and this, that, and the other. And I've been saying for decades, literally since
the beginning of fucking time and my time, that those things are actually skills. They are skills
that you could cultivate, that you can fine tune, that you can develop
through practicing certain things. That's what the 75 hard program is about. Is it about you
doing things consistently that are uncomfortable, that will help you to sharpen your skill set that will create the foundation that
you can build whatever it is you want. Okay. Now, most people just skip right to the building phase.
They're going to go out. They're going to buy a course on how to make money. They're going to buy
some courses on how to have a good relationship. They might read some books, which is great. They're going to do all these different things, right? They're going to buy supplements. They're
going to buy fitness programs. They're going to buy all this shit thinking that it's going to
solve their problem. And those things do help solve the problem. But only when you have the
foundation built for you to build something upon.
Just like you would build a house, guys. If you build a house on top of just dirt,
the house is far more likely to be blown over or to crumble or to fall apart. All right?
When you build a house on top of a really strong, solid, deep foundation, you're far less likely to have the issues of the skills that are going to be the cornerstone
of all the other successes that you're going to have in life. All right. That is the purpose of
this program. This is not a body transformation program. This is a very specific program designed
to cultivate the things that you cannot cultivate by just thinking about it
or talking about it or having fucking skypes about it with your therapist okay we just had one of the
best therapists in the world on our show the very last episode and she will corroborate exactly what I'm talking about here. You cannot
just speak this shit into existence. You have to go out and do hard shit so that you know you can
do hard shit. That's where confidence comes from. That's where belief comes from. That's where
limitless mentality comes from. That's where grit comes from. It's where self-esteem comes from. That's where limitless mentality comes from. That's where grit comes from. It's where
self-esteem comes from. It's where self-value comes from. And it's where confidence comes from.
And when you guys can't understand why you don't have those things, I want you to consider the fact
that those things are actually skills that you just haven't put practice into developing yet,
as opposed to looking at them as character traits that you are born with or not. And
understanding that difference will make the difference for you. Now that is a very
quick summary of the purpose of 75 hard Vaughn. What's the episode? 290 episode 290. If you
haven't listened to that episode, you need to go back, listen to episode 290. Now I finished phase
one tomorrow. Okay. That's the first two phases of what is called the Live Hard program.
75 Hard is the boot camp.
Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 are 30-day phases that you are to complete all four phases within one calendar year.
I want you to think about this. This is like running
an ultra marathon for your brain. This is like doing an Ironman for your brain.
Okay. Lots of you guys out there, you're thinking, oh, I dieted for a bodybuilding show. I know what
this is about. No, you fucking don't. Because on a bodybuilding show, you get cheat meals. On a bodybuilding show, you get days off.
On a bodybuilding show, you get flexibility and changes with your program. This does not.
A lot of you guys thinking, I ran an ultra marathon. This ain't shit. All right, well,
then do it. Let's see how hard it is for you. You talk a lot of shit. Just because you're able to push yourself in one area doesn't mean you could push yourself in our areas.
You did a marathon.
You did an ultra marathon.
You did an Ironman.
Why aren't you fucking rich?
Why can't you pay your fucking bills?
Why do you struggle with doing the things that you want?
All right?
So don't be talking shit about how you've done this when you haven't fucking done it.
So let's get that straight right now. Now I am about to finish phase one. I took,
I believe three days off between 75 hard and phase one. I did not take off the alcohol part.
I did not take off the reading part. I did not take off the diet part. I did not take off the inside workout part, um, or the water part or the progress pick part. I only took off the outdoor cardio part
for three days, uh, because I had blisters on my feet that were fucking literally unbearable,
hoping that they would heal. They didn't fucking heal. So I just went back to doing it. All right. So that's where I am. Now, 75 hard consists, the podcast
will tell you what it consists of. It will tell you exactly what to do, exactly how to do it.
All right. The 75 hard program is very simple. And I'm going to talk mostly about phase one here and then where to go after phase one.
So if you don't know about 75 hard, go back, listen to the podcast, come back,
pick up this now where we are right now. All right. So I'm going to move on to phase one.
Now, phase one, what's required? Okay. All the things of 75 hard are continued to be required in phase one.
You're going to follow a diet. You're going to do two workouts. One of them has to be outdoors.
Both of them have to be at least 45 minutes. That means if it's in the rain, if it's in the snow,
if it's in the heat, if it's in a tornado, if it's in a hurricane. Now be smart. Don't go out and fucking get killed and then try to tell me
that you got killed because of me. All right. Use some common sense. Well, I'm just saying
that's what people figure out how to do. They'll fucking bitch me out and they'll say, I fucking
died because of you. You know, I know that sounds stupid, but let's be real. The internet's pretty
fucking stupid. It is. Okay. And some people will even come back from
the dead just to complain. They will. I'm convinced of that. I think people, some people's
entire existence is to ask useless questions and complain about shit. Okay. So if you're going to
ask useless questions or stupid questions about this program, about shit that I'm not covering
here, I'm not going to answer you because you're a fucking idiot. All right. So I'm very specific with this. There is no
substitutions. There is no compromises. There is no changing it to suit you. It is the way it is.
And if you don't do it the way it is, you didn't do the motherfucking program. This is not some
bullshit internet challenge I just put together to entertain myself. It's all specifically designed for a reason.
And those reasons will be completely explained when I come out with the book that will come out
in a few months. Okay. Now I just finished 75 hard. What do I do next? All right. Understand these have to be completed in
a specific order. 75 hard phase one, phase two, phase three. All right. 75 hard is episode two
90. Go listen to that. It'll explain it. That's the bootcamp. That's getting you ready. All right. Um, phase one is all the five tasks from, uh, 75 hard, which are follow a diet to two workouts.
Like I said, um, a progress pick every day, one gallon of water, 10 pages of reading,
no alcohol or cheat meals. Okay. That's six tasks. That's what we're talking about for 75 hard.
In addition to that, we're going to add some new tasks. All right. Now,
the first task on phase one that's in addition to the 75 hard tasks is that you're going to add three more critical powerless tasks to your list.
Now, I realize that having five powerless tasks on your 75 hard was not a requirement.
Having three, okay, on this is a requirement. Now, some of you are choosing to do eight because you did five the first time that's great whatever you were doing for 75 hard you got to do three more
okay if you didn't have any if you had zero powerless tasks you got to do three all right
now powerless tasks are clearly defined as tasks that are critical to moving your life forward that are not habits.
Now, I explained this powerless program in one of our most popular episodes. I believe it's episode
107, Win the Day. You're going to go listen to that. It'll explain that in its entirety. That's
a program you should use no matter what. All right. So I'm not going to spend too much
time on that. Now, the next one is the five minute cold shower. Okay. Now, every single day,
you're going to take a shower. You're going to take a five minute cold shower. Now, I want to
clarify some questions on this. What does a cold shower mean,
Vaughn? It means it's cold. It means it's cold enough to cause you discomfort. That's right.
That's right. And you're going to consistently press to make it as cold and uncomfortable as
possible. If you're not doing that, you're missing the point. Okay. Now, does that mean that you have
to take your whole shower in cold water?
Nope. Five minutes. That's right. Five minutes. So a lot of people are confused. Do I have to
turn the shower all the way on cold and jump in? Sure. You can do that. That is not what I do.
Let me explain how I do it. I take a regular shower. I wash my hair. I do my whatever I got
to do in the shower. Okay. Then when I'm done with
that, that's when I turn the water to cold and I work it down to cold. I don't just flip it all
the way to cold. Some of you guys doing that, that's fucking badass. That's not what I do.
I work it down. I start the five minute countdown when the water is extremely fucking cold. And what
I mean by that is like, you're having a hard time breathing.
If you're not having a hard time breathing
where you're like, it's not cold enough, okay?
So that's where you know you should be, all right?
And after a few minutes, you'll acclimate
and you're gonna keep pushing it colder
and keep pushing it colder.
And you start when it gets uncomfortable,
keep pushing it colder and you end when five minutes is up.
Very simple. Any questions on that? No. To me, a good rule of thumb besides
it pushes you beyond your comfort is if it's cold enough that you really want to get out,
that's probably when you've reached the point. That's right. That's the point of this, guys.
The point of this is doing this with intent. If you listen to the last podcast with Nicole,
dude, when you don't do things with intent, you become stale. I've had a lot of you guys saying,
man, I'm having victories on my 75 hard. I'm having, I'm winning every day, but I don't feel
like I'm getting the same thing out of it as I did in the beginning. Well, the reason you're not
getting the same thing out of it is because you're not pushing yourself with intent to make it hard.
What's hard for you on day 60 is, is, is not the same thing that's hard for you on day three. So you have
to continue to push to be uncomfortable. Does that make sense? Yeah, it does. Can I just make
an observation is that I feel like of all the people that respond to you and have questions,
there's basically two types of people. There's the type of people who take what you say and they're immediately trying to find the loophole or trying
to find some way to make it maybe- Yeah, and those are the people who are going to be broke.
Yeah, a little bit easier. But then there's also the people that, to some extent, especially those
now who have completed 75 hard, that it's kind of an ego thing for them and
they're kind of like well i i want to get the specifics on this and the details so that i make
sure that i actually over deliver and overkill and you're not impressing me by no no and i i think
for both of those i got some people out there too that are like dude i'm fucking i fucking did this
and you're only doing five minutes i'm doing seven minutes i'm like cool right cool right that means you're not doing the full five minutes the right way right you know
and and i think i'm gonna tell you right now dude after five minutes of cold fucking water oh yeah
you're you're getting the fuck out and the standard the the answer applies to both of these people
do it so it pushes you beyond your comfort zone. That's it. Period. That's it. End of story.
And it's not bragging rights.
It's not like,
oh, see dude,
and here's the third person.
The third person,
and these people are really fucking annoying.
They're the most annoying.
They're the people who are like worried
about what everybody else is doing.
Right.
But what's funny is those same people
who have been messing with you,
what about so-and-so,
they did this,
or what about so-and-so,
they did that.
They fucking failed the program seven times and had to start over why do you think that is because they're not focusing
on their own shit which is a whole nother lesson that we have like a whole chapter of in the book
about that so um so all right so back to the phase one it's the five tasks plus the three powerless tasks plus the cold shower.
Now this is the big one that I think is important. They're all important, but I think this one is the one that will make the difference for a lot of people. And it's 10 minutes of active visualization.
Most people, what I found is they don't know the difference between a dream and a goal,
right?
They walk into a nice house or a nice vacation or they walk by something or see something
or notice something and say, man, it'd be cool to have that.
But they don't ever see themselves in it.
They don't ever make it real for themselves.
They don't ever actually practice being for themselves. They don't ever actually practice
being in that moment and feeling it emotionally. So it never becomes real for them. And then they
end up somewhere else. And then they, it just further locks in that thinking that we end up
where we are as a result of circumstance, not as a result of our own
decisions. So you guys have to remember this visualization, not only is it important for you
because you need to see yourself in these places and visualize things, um,
um, to make it real for you, but it also helps you become intentional with all your other tasks.
Okay. Because lots of people, you know, we've talked about this on the podcast before guys,
there's a big difference between busy and effective. There's a big difference between
being fulfilled and feeling empty. And you could do the same exact shit day in and day out and feel fulfilled or
empty. And the difference between those two feelings is the intent that you're putting on
your day to day tasks. For example, I have guys in my, uh, in my company, right? And they get
burned out. Like, dude, they worked a retail store for two years, right? Or three years
and four years or five years. And they're like, fuck dude, I can't fucking do this and blah,
blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, let me, let me explain something to you. You're not burnt out.
What you're doing is you're getting bored because you're not putting the intent behind every
opportunity that you have. You're not intentionally executing with that
customer in front of you to help them. Because if you were and they were getting results,
you would be completely fulfilled in your job. You see what I'm saying? And this is how practical
this is. When you become more fulfilled in your job, you get better at it, which helps you move
to a new position where you will earn more money,
you'll have a better career, and you'll have more opportunity to help people. But that all starts
with you being intent, having intent with what it is you do on a day-by-day basis. The reason most
people are empty, the reason most people aren't fulfilled, the reason most people hate what they
fucking do every day isn't because they
actually hate what they do. They actually just hate how they do it and they're not aware of it
yet. Does that make sense? Yeah, it makes total sense. So instead of putting a hundred percent
energy into the person in front of you, they're just going through the motions. And when they go
through those motions at the end of the day, they feel like they didn't do anything.
So then they feel unfulfilled.
Okay, and that's what's happening on 75 Hard for some people.
They're doing the bare minimum,
not consciously present about what it is that they're doing.
And so when they end the day,
they don't feel like they won.
The program will not work for you like that.
If you don't practice it with intent on a day-by-day basis,
you're not going to grow mentally the way the program's designed. You follow me?
Yeah, absolutely. So a couple things that I thought of. One is that,
I mean, this is stating the obvious, but sometimes you need to do that with people.
But the practice of closing your eyes and visualizing something, actually engaging your imagination and sustaining the images that you're
trying to,
you know,
motivate yourself with doing it in great detail,
doing it vividly as,
as like I said,
detailed as possible.
That takes work.
Like that's that it's a hard,
hard thing to do.
It takes sustained concentration. It's like working. It's a hard, hard thing to do. It takes sustained
concentration. It's like working. It's like you're literally working out your mind. No shit.
Yeah. And you know what else? Guess what? What? It ain't hard for me. You know why?
Cause you've been doing it. Yeah. You know, and look at my life. Yeah. Yeah. No, absolutely.
I'm not overly intelligent. I'm not an overly hard worker in fact i would say
i become an effective worker because of my my laziness that's the truth um i'm inherently lazy
so what do i do now i'm willing to work hard but i prefer not to just like everybody else right
so what does that create it creates a situation where I want a result. I know what I
want. I got to get there. What do I got to do? Well, I have to work hard. Okay. I accept that.
But I also have to know where I'm going. And I also have to do that with intent. And I also have
to do that consistently. And so when you do those things and you practice the visualization and you
practice being effective versus just being busy, now all of a sudden you're playing a different game than everybody else. Because
most people are playing the game of how much time have I put in? They have the union worker
mentality. I've got my 20 years in. I'm going to get my fucking benefits. That's fine, dude. If
that's you, cool. That ain't me. All right? I want to consistently get better I want to consistently
improve I want to consistently progress my life does not I am not fulfilled by sitting in a
fucking pond throwing a fucking line in the water like that's not my idea of being happy my idea of
being happy is squeezing every fucking ounce of potential out of my body and my mind and seeing
what the fuck I can do that That's a, that's the
ultimate test. You know what I'm saying? Absolutely. And, um, and so I think it's important to
understand that all, there's a reason behind all of these things. And you guys who have
completed 75 hard, you know, the reasons behind these things. Now You did it when you started. And by the way,
I got to commend you guys because you basically did something off faith in me and you trusted
what I was going to say. And dude, I have not had one single person DM me or email me and say,
dude, I did the 75 hard exactly as you said. And it didn't work every single, dude, I had an email right before I came on from a guy that I
know in England. And I talked to him and he told me today that he has, and I, the reason I talked
to him consistently is because he struggles with depression.
Okay.
He's suicidal.
I know what that feels like.
He told me today, he said, dude, the only thing that's keeping me moving forward and keeping me, my depression and my suicidal thoughts at bay is the discipline that I'm
creating through this program.
For me, that makes all of this worth it. The podcast, the fucking, all the work that we've
done, all the bullshit we've dealt with, all the traveling, all the money spent,
you know, that's the point of this. You know what I'm saying? And that's why I put it out for free
because people fucking need it. They need it. Absolutely. And the other thing to reemphasize,
and you've said this in so many words,
but I'm going to restate it just to drive home the point.
Dude, Sean Whalen, who's a good buddy of mine,
he's done two Ironmans.
He's done all kinds of fucking crazy hard shit.
He's raced Baja.
Okay?
He fucking told me.
It's the fucking best thing I've ever done in my life
and the hardest thing I've ever done in my life and the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.
I want to pull up his text he sent me the other day.
He sent me a screenshot of someone that he sent to his buddy.
I'm pulling up my phone, so sorry for the little lull here.
One of his buddies, who's also a follower of mine, I follow him. Um, he said, bro,
I can't make it past five days with 75 hard when I'm done with work. I work out once. And then by
the end of the day with babies, the second workout, it just doesn't happen. Or I'm so
spent driving my tour bus and singing that I'm burned out is walking considered a second workout
by the way. Yes, it is. it is if you walk outside um you don't
have to fucking run all right that's all i have the energy to do after a show bro i feel you i
got fucking seven or eight i don't even know how many companies i got i don't even know how many
employees i got i'm just guessing when i say that shit at this point um i get it you know there's
not much left at the end of the fucking day that's the point that's the
point all right um he says or do i not have the discipline at the level of commitment to make a
billion is it my workflow or my work schedule i don't want to lose tell me how you do it i know
we're all different business we're all different businesses, but still that was sean's friend to sean
Sean writes him back. It's mental bro. I do my 45 minute walk every night. It's fucking brutal
My body is tired. I just want to sleep but I could tell you this
Some nights i'm literally falling asleep when i'm walking. That's what makes this so powerful.
It's 95% mental.
That's how we make it to the other side, bro.
When everything and everyone is saying chill, when your body is exhausted, it's a mental
game that says just fucking walk, bro.
I feel you, homie.
I do.
I've had five MMA fights, done two full Ironman races.
This is the most difficult thing
I've ever done but it's also produced the biggest results I've ever seen not just physically but in
every area my business is exploding my personal life is as good as it's been in years and I
promise you bro if you go all in and do it it'll change your fucking life that's incredible pretty
good testimonial a very very good testimony and the emphasis on how brutal and difficult it, it'll change your fucking life. That's incredible. Pretty good testimonial.
Very good testimonial.
And the emphasis on how brutal and difficult it is
really drives home the reason you do the visualization
because as something you said recently
in a keynote to RHA,
we're not becoming mentally tough
just for the sake of becoming mentally tough.
We're becoming mentally tough
so our goals and our dreams can come true.
That's right.
And you have to motivate yourself.
That's right.
You have to take the time to visualize
and say, why am I doing this?
This is why.
Close your eyes.
Imagine the, you know, the...
The life you want.
The life you want,
whether that's a car or traveling
or, you know, being on stage or anything.
That's how important it is.
I think the...
I think the, um, I think the, so
let's talk about the prerequisites real quick. Um, so the prerequisites for the three consecutive
phases afterwards, one, you must complete 75 hard first, again, go back and listen to episode 290. Audiobooks do not count as reading. So when I
say specific instructions, part of this program is designed to teach you to quit fucking up simple
instructions. Okay. Audiobooks don't count. I don't care if you learn better through audiobooks.
I don't care. The reason you learn better through audio books. I don't care.
The reason you learn better through audio books is because you're fucking lazy and you haven't developed the skills to learn how to read properly.
Okay, don't be a bullshit, weak-ass bitch.
Oh, I learn better through, I have a learning disability.
Then fucking work through it, motherfucker.
It takes me an hour to read 10 pages because I read slow as fuck. I scored above 30
every fucking category on my ACT except fucking math and reading. Okay. It's hard for me too.
That's the point. Cold shower must be cold as fuck. One of your workouts must be outdoors for
at least 45 minutes. Three tasks that move you forward in other areas of
your life on your power list. Okay. And you have until you go to sleep to complete the day.
Again, quit fucking tattling on people. Oh, I saw so-and-so people out until three o'clock in the
morning. Yeah. Guess what? That's what it takes sometimes when you're busy as fuck you got to get up and fucking you got to go out get out of your bed and go do your
motherfucking workout I had to do that a couple times there was a couple times during the 75
where I was in bed and I'm like fuck it I ain't doing it no one will know and guess what I did
I got up I went out I drug my exercise bike out into the fucking driveway,
and I did fucking 45 minutes at two o'clock in the fucking morning.
That's what we're talking about here, okay? Now, important thing that I get a ton of questions on. All right. Do you have to go right into phase one after 75 hard?
Absolutely not. Now, a lot of people chose to do so. Totally cool. You cannot go from phase one
to phase two without taking 30 days off. Now I'm not saying go wild for 30 days.
You could do the same shit that you've been doing in this program for the next 30 days,
but it will not count as phase two. In fact, that's the reason I'm not giving you phase two yet
because the time hasn't passed. Why am I saying that you have to take 30 days off? And by
the way, when I say 30 days off, that doesn't mean go out and fucking eat like a fucking wild
animal and drink like a drunk and not work out. You'll completely fuck yourself. This is what
the point of the time off is. Remember when you were a kid and you learned how to swim and they put
those little water wings on you and you went out in the pool and after about fucking you know 10
lessons you're like fuck dude i know how to swim what happened when they took the water wings off
clunk you didn't know how to swim no more did you okay so this 30- day break is designed to teach you how to operate this as a lifestyle
versus you having to have the program to be taking care of your own business. All right.
That's the point of it. That should make really good sense to everybody here. All right. Now, just like in 75 hard, if you fuck up and you miss one
of the tasks on phase one, two or three, what do you got to do? Yeah. Start over from the beginning.
Got to start over from the beginning. Now, do you start over a day one of 75 hard or do you start
over on the day of the current phase current phase current
phase day one so if you get to phase three and you fuck up at day 16 you do not go back to phase
two day one or phase one where day one or 75 hard day one you go to phase three day one all right
now i think i've answered all the questions you You'd think so. What's the visualization?
We did some podcasts on visualization.
Can you put the notes in that for these people?
Yeah, I can do that.
I mean, we've done it here and there in a number of them.
Okay, will you put it in the show notes?
Yeah, I will.
So the guys can find it.
All right, we're going to put the 75 Hard Podcast and the Episode 107 Win the Day Podcast
and some visualization stuff inside the, the, the episode one Oh seven, when the day podcast and, uh, some visualization
stuff inside the show notes for this episode. So you, between those three and this, you'll have
all the resources, you know, to get going. Yeah. And basically you just have to go to
andyfrasella.com and then click on podcasts. I mean, I, the, the most recent episode is always
at the beginning. Yep. And also guys,, when you do this program, now understand, I'm writing a whole book on
this.
My first adult book will be about this program, all right?
Because I think it's something that people fucking need.
In fact, I know it is.
This is something that you need to look at as a tool to help you get re-centered when
you start to get off track later in life. Five years from
now, because we're human, we are going to naturally drift. We're pre-programmed to find the most
efficient, the least resistance way. And what happens is we have good intentions about doing
all these things. And then we find ourselves over somewhere where
we don't want to be 75 hard is a program that you would use to get yourself back on track does that
make sense okay now my recommendation is that you should do this every single year if you do you
want to be whatever it is you want to be you need to look at this as an essential part of that
program you want to be this you want to be that you want to be a billionaire you want to look at this as an essential part of that program. You want to be this,
you want to be that, you want to be a billionaire, you want to be a millionaire,
you want to be fucking famous, you want to be whatever it is you want to be.
You should be looking at the Live Hard program as a lifetime program that you will do every single
year, a complete program. So meaning that you will do every year you will do 75 hard phase one phase two phase three
in every fucking year to keep you finely tuned i think personally how important my life is
i have no problem making that commitment that's worth it to me now it might not be worth it to
everybody and that's okay too but you should still always remember that this program is there to help you get re-centered. So when you start to feel out there
or off track or things aren't going, or you feel stuck, this is going to be something that is going
to help you get re-centered and help you get back where you need to go. If you do it with intent.
All right. What else, dude?
I just like what you said about it. It's a way to get yourself tuned up. It's a recalibration tool.
Yeah. And by the way, guys, when I ask for your email for 75 hard in my stories,
if you've done 75 hard, if you're doing 75 hard, fucking subscribe to that email because I'm not going to sell it. I'm not going to spam you shit. I'm actually looking for people to profile in my book
and to have on the podcast as guests to talk about this. I think it's that, I think it's
going to be the biggest thing I've ever, I've ever put together in my entire life. It might not,
you know, be the most financially successful thing. It's fucking free but uh it's the most important thing in my opinion um actually a
point having to do with the whole recalibration this program will teach you um mental toughness
but i think people would be wrong if they thought that mental toughness is something that
you know once you have it you just have, right. Like there's whatever that is,
the third law of thermodynamics
or things are in a constant state of decay
or that might be the second law of thermodynamics.
But the point is, is that as human beings,
if we're not.
It's no different than the ax.
Yeah, right.
You keep it sharp.
Your ax is going to get dull.
Right.
You're going to use this to sharpen the motherfucker up.
Right.
Right.
Like you're not going to finish 75 hard
and then coast the rest of your life. No no no dude that's some basic understanding that goes back
to us understanding that this is a skill it's not a trait right you see what i'm saying absolutely
that being said i do think that there is a sense in which when you complete the program you are
you have crossed the line to another level to
where even if you start deteriorating, you're still on a higher level than most people,
but you have to work to continue to go higher and higher.
That's where the comparison of you see your old comparisons. You know, a lot of people like to
say comparisons terrible and you know what? It can be toxic, but the truth is, is it can also be good
and you need to learn to start comparing yourselves to fucking higher level people than your average fucking neighborhood bros from 19
fucking 92 you know i'm saying like let's be real we all compare right you know and i do agree like
especially with ed that all the negative things in life when it comes to unhappiness come from comparison,
over comparison. But it's healthy to compare in certain situations. And that's what's going to push you and should push you to be better. Now, some people don't even have enough confidence
to feel that fire like I could be better when they compare themselves to other people, right?
So those people don't have a blade at all. They've just got like a piece of metal, right? And 75 hard, the live hard program
is going to shape that into an edge, right? It's going to give them a higher level than what they
had. And every year it's going to progress, progress, progress. So that's how to think
about it. Absolutely. I mean, there's a comparison that debilitates and there's a comparison that
motivates. And the question is whether you're saying i'm not them and make yourself feel bad or you're saying i'm not them i can be better than
that's right that's right that's right so i think that's it i think that's it yeah and we'll have
the phase two um phase three podcast here in less than 30 days for you guys. Um, we've got some exciting shit coming out. Yep. Uh,
we've got some exciting projects we're working on. Uh, I mean, that's it, man. The book's going
to be fucking awesome. Uh, you know, we've got some cool audio, little, little audio things that
we're working on for people to use while they're doing their workouts. I think that'd be cool.
That's going to surprise some people. We people we we always we always love to hear about your experience of 75 hard yeah so i mean i would i
mean if you're gonna bitch i don't hear that no but i mean i mean you know i don't know if it's
smart to put my email on the uh no it's not no it's probably not so but dms let us know what
your experience is we want to hear about it.
Yeah, we do.
I love it, dude.
Yeah.
And use the hashtag 75 hard.
Use the hashtag live hard.
Use the hashtag 100 to zero.
I'm active on all those hashtags, including I am first form, first form, um, lesion boom
hashtags, S2 faction hashtags.
Those are my hashtags I look at every day, uh, to really connect with people. But like for my, for this project, dude, I look every day. It's 75 hard. I look at
live hard and I look at 100 to zero every single day. So guys use those hashtags in your stories
and in your posts so I can connect with you because that's fun for me to see. It makes me
happy to see that these people are really making great progress. And guys,
I got to say the pro and I know you notice this as well. Um, the progress that people have fucking made in 75 days is absurd. Yeah. Absurd. It's awesome. It's way more impactful than I even
imagined it to be. Um, it's very rewarding. Yeah. Very rewarding. For sure. I'm really
fucking proud of it. Like dude, anybody who's completed that 75 days for real, like, dude, respect.
Right.
That shit is fucking hard.
It is not easy.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Absolutely.
Like, it's really cool, like a little cool fraternity.
You know, that's how I look at it.
In practical terms, guys, if you also share information about 75 Hard, Andy's got, what,
close to 2 million followers.
So tag me too so that I see it and so I can respond to it.
Yep.
Yep.
Vonson, you're doing it right now.
Tyler, would you fucking fail?
I failed on the stupidest possible reason.
Well, what day are you on?
One?
No, I was on nine.
No, what day are you on now?
Oh, I'm starting after Summer Smash.
That's weak. All right, well, I'll start. Tyler No, what day are you on now? Oh, I'm starting after Summer Smash. That's weak.
All right, well, I'll start.
Tyler finished.
During Summer Smash.
Yeah.
Get on the mic there.
Get on the microphone.
What's the easiest requirement of all of them?
It depends on the person.
No, it's taking the progress pick.
No, it's hard for people.
They forget that.
Oh, that's not hard for me.
Tyler finished.
Get on there, Tyler.
Go ahead.
That I did. And you could always tell who actually did it. Who yeah fuck yeah yeah because you'll ask them questions and if they're not they
have no answer yeah or it'll not be the answer that they should have one guy i had actually two
guys reach out and they were like dude i did it i didn't get out of it what you said i said then
you didn't fucking do it both of them were like you're right i fucking i fucking
admitted to it yeah because i said dude there's no way i said i don't care what you say if you
if you didn't if you fucking can look me in the fucking eye and say it didn't do exactly what i
told you to do then you either didn't do it or you're lying well everybody will notice uh at
certain stages of the program you will you will evolve a certain way,
you know,
and everybody goes to those.
I feel,
I feel like everybody that I've talked to have gone through those same like
evolution.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Like,
like,
like I feel like every single person that I've spoken with the day,
day,
the first fucking 13 or 12 or 13 days are brutal.
And then also a day like 50 through 60 is really hard for
people that sucked yeah yeah i thought that was the hardest too yes like because in the beginning
because what happens is in the beginning you're excited and everybody else is excited too
but then people stop giving a fuck and then you start to realize why you're really doing it which
isn't for other people it's for you and then at like day 50 60 you're fucking tired of it you're like fuck dude like like people have like gotten pregnant had kids
i've been on this shit so long you know what i'm saying like like fucking decades have passed it's
only but like dude what i kept thinking about really honestly uh like dude and i i wonder what
i wonder what it was for you. But like, for me,
like the, the days I don't want to do shit, I, I, the question I asked myself is, dude,
are you happy with where you are in life? Is this all you want? Is this all you want?
And the answer is no. So I got up and fucking did it. You know what I mean?
Yeah. Uh, and then it was, I don't know if you did this, but it was around that day 50 mark where it started getting kind of hard and I had not implemented the rules that I
had at the end for myself. So I, what do you mean? Like I would create daily rules to stick to the
program. Like I could not leave my house until, well, first off, as soon as I woke up before I
did anything, I had to take that progress picture yeah like it was the first fucking thing i did because there'd be five seven times to where i would it
would be the end of the day and like you i would have to get up out of bed and take my fucking
progress picture dude yeah and it might only be 15 feet but i'm like fuck all right so i had to
take the progress picture as soon as i got up and before i could leave my house i had to drink three
bottles of water yeah dude i found myself doing that with the water too.
Because I know if I drink three or four bottles of water early in the day.
Like 30% of the way.
I'll get the rest of the water through with my meals.
Yeah.
I do the same thing.
Well, it was after that night to where I didn't have.
Where you had to drink that half a gallon or whatever.
Fuck yeah, that sucked.
I was like, this is not happening again.
So the next day I implemented that rule.
And then, you know, because at work I'll drink four or five bottles easily.
And then I could not leave the office.
Like if it was a workday, I could not leave the office until I did my 75 hard outdoor workout.
Yeah.
And that became easy.
Yeah.
We both did that same thing.
Yeah.
Even though I wouldn't leave the office till like 8 p.m.
I know everybody's going to have that luxury.
Shit still got done.
Got done.
Yeah. thing yeah even though I wouldn't leave the office till like 8 p.m I know everybody's got done yeah
and then you know obviously uh what was my other one I couldn't obviously I couldn't go to bed
till I read my 10 pages but I always set aside that time because that's when I was the most
chill and I could dedicate my mind to the actual book that I was reading. Yeah. But it was really, the thing I loved most about 75 Hard
is the way that I tried making it harder.
Yeah.
Well, that's how you know you're in it
when you start,
when your intent is so specific
that you start trying to make it harder.
Well, it goes back to being aware
that you're getting into a routine
and you're going to end up slipping
if you don't make it harder.
Yes.
It was like, we would watch the weather to make sure like,
all right, it's going to fucking rain. Like we're not talking about doing extra work, so to speak.
We're talking about just making the work we were doing harder. The conditions. So like Tyler and I would like, we, we would be like, it would be like four or five o'clock when everybody kind of
here starting to wrap up their day and we're like, it's gonna rain at six so we fucking wait till six to go right you know shit like that dude i did it
i did it in 19 degrees in the snow and i did it in 98 degrees in the fucking heat i did it i think
at least 12 or 13 i tracked all this shit but those were our favorite workouts because like
nobody else is fucking doing this i did oh Oh, fuck yeah, dude. Dude, there is nothing better than doing your outdoor workout when it's shitty out and knowing
like everybody, like nobody else is willing to pay this price.
That's fucking real shit.
And what's funny is this past Saturday, I was out partying with the Blues.
We just won the Stanley Cup.
Oh, you're going to try to drop your fucking big dick here?
No, man, but it was just such a, it was such a cool night.
And, you know, I, people back of my place and it was just such a it was such a cool night and you know i people
back of my place and it was just pissing down raining that morning and the sun had just come up
and it's it's raining so hard and i'm in my jeans and everything from the night before and i just
walk outside and i just stand in the fucking rain it was like dude i was shivering you know what's
funny dude it's funny about that is like i've it's rained every day this week pretty much
and i've driven my fucking k5 blazer that doesn't have a roof every day and everybody's like looking
at me like look at this fucking idiot driving a convertible didn't even look at the weather
before you fucking care like i was smiling i'm driving down the road it's fucking raining inside
my truck and i'm smiling dude i'm like this is cool as fuck larry actually out in the warehouse was with me on my balcony i'm like dude this is fucking
awesome like if you can't enjoy this like i agree fuck yeah dude it's there's just so many
i cannot wait for the book to come out so that we can literally point out to people
because there's so much shit that happens it It's almost hard to even track. Like
when you're having conversations with people and you're like, Oh yeah, what about this? Oh yeah.
What about that? Dude, it's just exciting. Like I'm getting excited thinking about it.
And one last thing I'll say is it, if you haven't done it yet, what you're going to realize is that,
and I told this to Vaughn about the, in the book is in the beginning, you're going to think that
these things are taking time away from you, but they're actually giving you time for yourself that you weren't given to yourself
before. That's right. Uh, like this, no, you were giving it to the walking dead. Yeah. Like this
gave me time to work on my spirituality and that has been life changing for me.
Jeez. You mean, you mean all the books I told you to read for the last fucking 10 years,
you actually read them and now you agree i mean it wasn't even
really the books it was more about like it was more about like being with myself i'm not saying
they did not help no just say it andy andy you're right you're right i should have fucking listened
i should have fucking listened and if i had listened i'd be i'd be much further along and
more handsome and i don't get much more handsome I'd make more money I'd make more money
I'd get more chicks I mean dude get more dudes
I'm proud of you bro like no bullshit thanks man hey I'm thank you though like that program
absolutely changed my life yeah and it's going to continue to change lives well yeah I mean
uh that's why I'm really excited that you are taking 30 days off because, you know,
without those water wings.
Yeah, that's right.
Well, and that's, I took like two weeks off and I didn't do phase one.
I don't know when I'm going to start that yet, but I'm loving the fact that I'm still
doing all these things.
Like you see me still doing my outdoor workouts.
Like I'm still working out twice a day.
I'm still reading.
I'm still meditating and visualizing every day. By the i got shredded yeah he is shredded but by the way he's kicking
ass at work too you know what i'm saying like how much how much better of a leader am i a million
i mean i don't even need your confirmation i already know i am good of like how they're
responding to me yes the work that we're getting done yeah be a good leader is not me
telling you you're a good leader it's your team fucking listening to you and responding and
executing right and that's happening i've only been telling you that for 10 years bro bro i'm
stupid i'm slow all right guys look speaking of this i gotta go get my fucking workout in because
uh otherwise i won't um so guys, that's that. That's
phase one and 75 hard. The show notes, check those out. Massive respect to you guys who are doing the
program. It's fucking awesome to see. I love it. I'm really, really proud of all of you guys who
are finishing the program and you guys who are, you know, making a mistake and then starting over
and having integrity and still finishing. That is really cool too. You know guys who are, you know, making a mistake and then starting over and
having integrity and still finishing. That is really cool too. You know, don't think you're
less than because you had to start over once or twice. Now, if you're going to start over eight
or nine times, dude, you got a fucking problem and you need to address it. You got to force
yourself through this shit, like force it. Otherwise guys, you're never going to be anything
more than what you are. That's the truth. And if you're not happy with what you are, you got to do something different.
And that's going to cause discomfort.
It's going to be hard, but I promise you it'll be worth it.
All right.
So guys, that's the show for today.
Thank you for all the support.
Thank you for all the reviews.
Thank you for all the love that you guys show the show.
And we'll talk to you soon.
