Starting point is 00:00:00 All I do is work, work, work. Never run the sidelines, I only hustle. I don't ever take a day off, I only work, work, work. I don't mess around, kid, I only care. Nobody ever sees me. Hey guys, what's up? It's Andy, you're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm here to bring you a little bit of Thursday thunder.
Starting point is 00:00:20 It's just me, I'm here with myself. I want to talk to you guys about something that's important, all right? I get emails. I get questions. I get asked all the time if someone's business idea is legitimate, if I think their business idea is good, if I think their product's good, if I think their service is good. And while I'm happy to share my feedback, guys, you have to understand one thing. There's a huge difference between wanting to get someone's advice and feeling like you need their validation. Let's get one thing straight. You don't need someone's permission to be great. You don't need anyone's validation. This is the biggest thing I see young entrepreneurs struggle with. Like you think there's some sort of secret group or secret
Starting point is 00:01:01 cult or secret power out there that needs to say, hey, yeah, man, that's a good idea. You should go do that. That's not the case. You don't need my approval. You don't need anyone else's approval to dream big and go out and execute on the plan. That's the bottom line, guys. People go searching around looking for experts to make them feel good about their business idea. Newsflash, guys, nobody's going to make you feel good about your business idea because at the end of the day, you've still got to go out and you've got to do the fucking work. All right. Anybody who's a successful, legit entrepreneur who genuinely has your interest at heart is not going to tell you when you say, hey, man, what do you think about my idea? They're not going to say, oh, I'm not sure about the idea. No, I don't think that product is valid. Well, that'll never work because they know in their heart that true entrepreneurs figure out how to make shit work. It doesn't
Starting point is 00:01:49 matter what someone thinks about your idea. It doesn't matter about what someone thinks about your plan. What matters is that you go out and do it. And if you ask successful people, truly successful people who have built things from the ground up, they're going to answer you with, you know, when you say, Hey, what do you think about my idea? They're going to probe you with constructive questions. Have you determined your value proposition? What's your target market? Are you really passionate enough about this to see it through the meager lean years and follow through to make a big business out of it? Okay. They're going to ask you questions. They're going to help you discover answers that are going to help you be more successful. They're going to ask you questions. They're going to help you discover answers that
Starting point is 00:02:25 are going to help you be more successful. They don't consider themselves the business God. Who is the business God anyway? You know, there isn't one. Nobody knows what the fuck they're doing. We're figuring it out as we go. All right. Who out there has the right to declare you either a promising success or eventual failure? Nobody. So guys, when you go out there and you think, oh, I need to get my parents to approve. I need to get my friends to approve. I need to get so-and-so to approve of me. And then I can go out and do it. No, nobody's going to believe in you in the beginning. Nobody is going to validate you and say, yes, you're going to be successful because the truth is nobody fucking knows. And most of society is stuck within the four walls of what they're supposed to do.
Starting point is 00:03:08 And they're not going to see your vision. They're not going to see your plan. They're not going to see what it is that you're capable of achieving. So stop fucking looking for people to say, yeah, man, you're on the right track. Make a plan. Work the plan. When you make mistakes, adjust the plan. That's how you become a successful entrepreneur.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Listen, guys, the bottom line is this. The world owes you nothing. If you're waiting around for someone to come along, give you permission to be great, you're going to be waiting for a very long fucking time, all right? The fact is we're here for a short time, and we're all going to die. If you are working day in and day out to build your ultimate life, what the fuck are you waiting for? Nobody's going to believe in you until after you've done it or at least until you're well on your way. And then some people are going to come around, the same guys who were laughing at you in the beginning saying you're crazy. They're going
Starting point is 00:03:57 to say, man, I always believed in you. I always knew you were going to do something great. And they're going to ask you for a fucking job or to invest in their table at trivia night. All right. Don't let your delicate little panties get in a bunch because your friends laugh at you when you say you want to drive a Lamborghini or build a great business or career or build an extraordinary life. Instead, take those mental notes, save it inside, use it for internal fuel when you find yourself wanting to quit or cut a corner on the road to success because that's how people win. Use what people give you. Don't worry about what they say because here's the thing. You don't need permission. All right. You don't need the world's permission. You don't need your friend's permission. You don't need your parents' permission, your girlfriend's permission,
Starting point is 00:04:37 your boyfriend's permission. You don't need your spouse's permission. You don't need your teacher's permission. You don't need anyone's fucking permission to be great. The only permission you need is from that motherfucker who stares at you back in the mirror every day and a willingness to do the hard fucking work longer, harder, and better than anyone. So what are you going to do? Are you going to buy another success program looking for the secret recipe that doesn't exist or read another meme about someone else's life or dream for another day about how you're going to start tomorrow or you're going to go do something right fucking now and do something that brings you closer to greatness that's your choice Take your day off, I only work I don't mess around, kid, I only care
Starting point is 00:05:25 Lord, he never sleeps All I do is work
