Here to talk about all things health, fitness and navigating your way through this crazy life.
Starting point is 00:00:33 We're your new besties. We want you to feel part of our weekly chats and we're excited to invite you in to our exclusive girl gang. Grab some snacks and chillax whilst we chat. Woo! Hey guys. Welcome back. So Emma's actually just got a sweet in her mouth. It's one of those sweets that you can't bite and chew into.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Yeah, but you're speaking quite well right now. I'll keep it in my mouth until it disappears. I actually think you're speaking really well with it. Okay, well yeah, I'll just put it to the side of my mouth so you can't hear it. Just don't break your teeth, please. How are we all today? How are you? I feel like so much has happened since I saw you last. I feel really flustered at the moment.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Like, I feel like so much is going on in my life. Well, you are moving house. It's just, yeah, it's a lot. Moving house, and then, I mean, the Gymshop store is going to open this weekend, which, thank God, it's happening. That is crazy. Yeah. That has been, like like such a long time coming. Hasn't it?
Starting point is 00:01:28 But it's so annoying because I'm not here for it. When it opens. But you know. I'm in Bali. I'm in Bali. When do you fly? I fly the 21st of October. So I move in, so basically,
Starting point is 00:01:40 I don't know if I've updated you guys, but I found a place. Did I tell you? I did tell you, didn't I? In the last podcast, you said you were really struggling to find a place. Right,, but I found a place. Did I tell you? I did tell you, didn't I? In the last podcast, you said you were really struggling to find a place. Right, well now I found a place. So you can update everyone.
Starting point is 00:01:49 I found a place. And it was like, literally like the universe was in my favor because I put an offer down on this place and we lost it because there was just other people just chucking money at this little flat. It was annoying. Anyway, a week later, I was really sad. I was like, oh, I just wish we got that place.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Week later, the agent phoned and she was like, hi, yeah, the offer fell through, so we can put your offer forward. And then literally that day it was accepted and I was just like over the moon. Because I was just so unsettled, because I had nowhere, I didn't know where I was gonna go. I had a date that I had to get out of my flat
Starting point is 00:02:26 and I was just freaking out. So stressed. So a week later, was it a week? Wait, maybe two weeks later now I've known. Yeah, two weeks. And I'm moving out this Friday. So where are you with packing? Where am I packing?
Starting point is 00:02:41 Like where, how far have you got with the packing process? Oh God. Well, this is, this is actually one of my flops. Okay. Let's go straight into the flops. Yeah. My flop is I'm leaving my packing really last minute. Like it's like, I feel like it's just going to do it itself. And I know it's not, but I'm just like, I can't do it.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I kind of did that when I was moving house. But luckily my mom is my guardian angel. I remember I was in London for like a whole week for work and I came back and she'd like packed my house stop it you know what I was thinking I was like how did Emma do this so like seamlessly like with her job as well I'm like there was no sort of sign of oh my god boxes stresses yeah mayhem no it was it was quite yeah it was my mom obviously like i did like scheduling time to pack but i did it like over time and then my mom really helped yeah wow we should get our moms on the podcast oh my god i did think this yeah we should well at the same time
Starting point is 00:03:36 yeah do you think at the same time they could be friends yeah anyway um okay so your flop is my flop is stress yeah being a little bit stressed yeah yeah and then my fly is I just had such an eventful week like fun eventful week I went to I was like sport park right now oh my god it was so scary like I used to go every time when I was a kid every year more than like no I'd say like three four times a year like it was just like my park like Like I'd just always go there. And I haven't been there since. And it was just so nostalgic. And I just felt like, oh, I'm like a little kid again.
Starting point is 00:04:11 It was really fun. See, I'm not good with things like that. Oh my God, are you not? I love rides. I love them so much. Like get me on every ride. But you know what? It was really weird because when we went on rides,
Starting point is 00:04:22 I was like expecting it to be like really scary and like just how I remembered it when I was a kid, but it was just not. Like it was really different. It was slower. It was just shorter as well. Like it wasn't as how I remembered. Was it like Halloween themed?
Starting point is 00:04:36 Yeah, but the rides were just the rides. Yeah. Were there people like jumping out on you? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. There was mazes. Oh my God, no, no. It was really scary. I'd like absolutely hit someone. Yeah, no, no. I actually, no, Oh my God, no, no, it was really scary. I'd like absolutely hit someone.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Yeah, no, no, I actually, because in one of the mazes they could touch you. So like, I was like, you know, just doing whatever I could to get out of that maze. Like I probably did hit a lot of people. Screaming, I was annoying. What else did you do? It was fun, sweet.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Oh yeah, and then obviously London Marathon yesterday, went to see Anna and like. Yes, well done Anna. Well done Anna. Love you. Oh my God, yeah, she did really well. But that was just such a nice vibe,
Starting point is 00:05:09 like such a good atmosphere. And then what else did I do? Yeah, shout out to everyone who completed the marathon. Wow. Or even just attempted it, even if you didn't complete it. You are machines.
Starting point is 00:05:19 It's definitely something on my bucket list. Maybe we should do a Real Girls Radio marathon. Marathon. I feel like we're just chatting shit we're not gonna do that um but yeah that was fun and then what else did I do oh yeah did you see when I went on the little bike thing and then you you drink on the bike and you go around yeah that was really fun I me and um my friend did that last year did you in London yeah oh my god
Starting point is 00:05:43 what just you and your friend yeah just you two yeah on the thing yeah how did you do that it was just because like you have to literally cycle like yeah you have to pedal the thing and it's so heavy two people yeah you were telling me you moved it with just yeah i have strong legs amazing um but yeah that's your flopping fly that was that's my flopping fly went out last night on a sunday are you hungover no i'm actually not but sorry what's happened to me like no social butterfly but yeah i just need to sort my life out before moving so that's my week you'll do it you'll be fine yeah i'll be fine what about you um my flop is that I did a PT session on Wednesday evening. With like a PT? Yeah, he's like a very like bodybuilding style personal trainer.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Like used to train like athletes and bodybuilders. Oh, wow. So he's very like hardcore training. And it was intense. Like I was honestly on the leg press like screaming but that's the thing like when you have a pt they actually really push you like you think you're pushing yourself in your workouts but like it goes to show that that your mind is a lot more powerful than your body but when i like my flop is that i couldn't walk for about four days. Oh, okay. I was so sore. Did you not stretch?
Starting point is 00:07:07 Yeah, no, I did. But like I, it was so many reps, so heavy, so much volume on a session. I know I can't like recover from that, which is why I don't really train like that. Was it a long session? Yeah, it was like an hour and a half. I did it with my friend and it was fun. It was good. But like I was in so much pain.
Starting point is 00:07:25 You know when you literally can't sit on the toilet? I managed to get back to the gym yesterday. Nice. And my fly, oh, my artwork came. I ordered a load of artwork and prints and posters and paintings and I put them up in my house. Wait, I think you remember you mentioned this on the other podcast episode.
Starting point is 00:07:45 You were like, you're gonna get some artwork or something. And I was like, that's really adult-y. Yeah, it has completely changed how my house looks. I love it. Where did you get them from? I ordered from Desenio. Desenio, yeah. Is that how you say it?
Starting point is 00:07:57 And also a place called Theft Art. It was really cool. I got like a Prada chocolate. Oh, cool. A Chanel teddy bear. Nice. And a Louis Vuitton receipt. So classic. It was literally cute. It was really cool, I got like a Prada chocolate. A Chanel teddy bear. And a Louis Vuitton receipt. It was literally cute. I actually got an email from the person the other day
Starting point is 00:08:12 saying that she'd want to send me some art of like my naked body. Oh really? Has she already drawn? No, no, no, no, no. But like you'd send a picture but i don't think i'm gonna be doing that like it's really cool like i actually think that's really empowering really cool but i think you should do it i can't i can't have my naked body on on a wall i just
Starting point is 00:08:35 can't you gift it to someone really yeah give this my secret myra yeah valentine's day is not save it for valentine's day yeah that's actually quite a good gift anyone who needs gift ideas do that that's a great saucy gift um anyway this episode is all going to be about it's going to be like a juicy q a yeah basically you guys asked us a load of questions slash assumptions yeah oh my god there's some juiciness we're just gonna go through them and i actually haven't gone through any of them, so I don't know what we're going to be cast. We've been saving it.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Also, we were going to have a guest on today, but she couldn't attend, which was quite sad, but we'll get her on another time. Make the best of it anyway. Yeah. Okay. I feel like I'm going to ask you first.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Oh. I'm nervous. What is the last lie you told, and why did you lie? I'm trying to think. The last lie I told. I did you lie? Um, I'm trying to think. The last lie I told. I mean, it's good that you can't even remember. I can't think of one.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Have you lied to me? No. You sure? Yeah. I'm sorry. I actually can't think of a lie. What's your opinion on casual sex and do you ever do it? No, I don't ever do casual sex i've just come out
Starting point is 00:09:46 of a relationship uh my my opinion on casual sex is like you do you each to your own if you want to have casual sex and go for it but just do your sti test yeah or use protection yeah wear condoms yeah that's my opinion what about you um what's my opinion casual sex i mean i don't think there's anything wrong with casual sex at all like i do casual sex because i haven't had a relationship yeah so that's all i do you've got to be careful though because i feel like there for girls especially there comes a point where you're gonna get attached and emotions yeah yeah yeah no you need to make sure you're having casual sex with the same person yeah if it's a reoccurring sort of friends with benefits it can get a little bit sticky yeah and I am usually one to like actually to be fair I don't think I am one to fall for someone easily
Starting point is 00:10:38 I'm definitely not are you not You know what? I don't know. I don't think I am. Like, okay, we're just gonna go straight into it. So I have had sex with people who I'm not attracted to. Have you? Yeah. Just because, just yeah, why not? Fancy this.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Yeah, you know, just why not? So that's why I haven't caught feelings throughout casual sex. but also there are definitely are times actually where I have been like, hmm, this could lead to something. But then me just, and my personality, I would just block that off before, because I don't want to get hurt.
Starting point is 00:11:15 I would imagine like, if you do it more than five times, then you'll probably get feelings. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But then also like, you'd have to like, just use your initiative and like ask them like, you know, where is this, what sort yeah. But then also, like, you'd have to, like, just use your initiative and, like, ask them, like, you know, where is this, what sort of road is going down? Yeah. Like, just see where their head is at. Are their feelings here?
Starting point is 00:11:32 Because isn't it true that, like, guys just, when they have sex with someone, they actually avoid them or something like that? It's like they've done their deed. It's like, evolutionally speaking, like, they have, you know, just... Oh, guys just want to sow their seed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Move on. Literally, just plant this maybe no I think girls are definitely more likely to get feeling healing and attack why is that like why is that yeah I don't know it's got come back to like evolution yeah surely we're just maybe I don't know I don't know but it's just it is what it is that That's our opinions. Do you want to find one? Yeah, I'll find one.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Okay, this is a quick one. Okay. Nutella or Biscoff? Biscoff. Yeah. Yeah. A hundred percent. Not quite as juicy of a Q&A, but yeah, that's a...
Starting point is 00:12:17 Just get out. That's definitely a needed answer to share. Ooh. Why do you wear fake tan? It's not necessary. You should embrace your skin because that's interesting because me and you are yeah we do like a fake tan i think it just makes you glow more i think it makes you look more healthier um not as like i'm very pale and I think when I'm pale I just look dead inside
Starting point is 00:12:45 okay I just don't like it I just really just I don't know yeah no I I love fake tan and I fake tan like every week yeah it's become like a part of my routine now and I know I just feel better I just feel better in my body and I'm more confident when I got fake tan on. But I... Why is that? It's weird because my sister is really pale. And like when I'm with her, it makes me realize like how much fake tan I have. But like I look at her skin and I think, wow, like she looks beautiful without fake tan.
Starting point is 00:13:20 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Her pale skin like... No, that's so true. So I think it's probably just in our head no it is you know I think it is it's like we've sort of created this identity for ourselves where we we are we feel ourselves when we fake tan because that's what we're used to but I think if we didn't even touch fake tan in the first place we would feel that we wouldn't even need it yeah but because we're so used to it it's like when when it's taken away from us, we're like, you know, it's not us.
Starting point is 00:13:46 We don't feel ourselves. We don't feel good and whatever, but it is just in our heads. Yeah, but annoyingly, I'm having laser hair removal at the moment. Oh, yeah. And you're not allowed to wear fake tan. Oh, so you're not wearing fake tan?
Starting point is 00:13:58 No, I am. I was going to say. But before I go in for my laser, I have to scrub my skin. If I have a smidgen of fake tan on, they'll like shout at me. Probably like not doing it. Everywhere you got a fake tan, oh God.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Yeah. Better go back to the episode where you said all your fake tan. Oh my God, the bleach removal. The bleach removal, absolutely not. Please, you're not doing that again, over again. Okay, interesting. Did you lose your virginity due to pressure with a boyfriend with a random
Starting point is 00:14:27 or still a virgin huh i'm still a virgin joking you shouldn't joke about things like that because some people could be no but i'm just joking because it's obvious i'm not yeah oh yeah yeah so did you lose your virginity due to pressure? Or were you with a boyfriend? Or were they random? Okay, so you go first. This is actually quite interesting. I actually don't know this about you.
Starting point is 00:14:55 I'm trying to think this about myself as well. Well, obviously not a boyfriend. And it was with a randomer. I don't think it was due to pressure. Completely randomer. Well, I'd met him. Yes. Well, not a randomer. But I didn't really it was due to pressure. Completely random. Well, I'd met him. Yes. Well, not a random.
Starting point is 00:15:06 But I didn't really know him well. I wouldn't say. I mean, that's quite interesting. I don't know if it's due. It probably could have been due to pressure. Yeah, I would say so. Was it like a night out? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:19 And it was a guy who I. Did you go out with any intention on? No, no, no, no, no intention. But all I'm going to say is it was a guy who I... Did you go out with any intention on... No. No. No, no, no. No intention. But all I'm going to say is it was consensual. Absolutely. My God. But after I did think, I don't know if I wanted to do that just then.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Like, I don't think I was ready then. But I guess you're never really ready, are you? No. So it could have been due to pressure. Yeah, I would say so. Did you talk to him after? No. No. him after no no no no I was just a young I was very young how old are you I can't actually say yeah it's juicy you gotta say it no I can't my first boyfriend was three years older than me okay so it was when you were with a boyfriend yeah I was with him for a year so in a way I'm
Starting point is 00:16:04 like glad that it was with someone I was actually yeah but it was like a very like immature young relationship yeah and I did feel very pressured and very like I like no one spoke about it like it was kind of like I was the first person to do it and it was such a big deal like no me and my friends did not talk about it I had no idea what was happening did you feel bad after like did you feel like I remember I didn't tell anyone for like a few weeks I mean it is what it is like literally it's you know you can't regret anything in life um yeah you pick okay oh who is your famous fan in your dm smells interesting spill the tea there's no one that's been regular like regularly in my dms who's been famous
Starting point is 00:16:58 but i did match with blando norris oh yeah you did But I mean we're not talking, which is quite sad. Famous person in my DMs. Oh, I don't think I can say. Go on. No, because I think you'd listen. No, you won't. No, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't. I can't say that.
Starting point is 00:17:23 I'm gonna give a clue yeah give us a clue it begins okay it begins with an r what's the second letter no that's too much no it's not that's initials um okay this is quite interesting it's not really juicy but I think it'll be good for us to talk about um so someone has asked do you guys feel like you both kind of stand on opposite things Millie you don't track and you eat intuitively however Emma is all about low calorie meals getting steps and so on I find it interesting how you work well together but stand for different things love you both yeah interesting we did touch on this like in season one don't we yeah we did i mean let's talk about it because as much as it might look like i'm all about like low calorie meals and hitting your steps like yeah i am but that is largely to help my like biggest client demographic, which is women who are trying to lose body fat
Starting point is 00:18:26 and lose weight in a healthy way. And I do religiously hit my steps. Like, you know, sometimes I might have a day where I don't hit my steps, but I like going out for walks and I like, you know, ticking boxes and stuff and staying like on track and having structure. And I don't always like track my calories calories but I do a lot of the time and I like having a meal plan and I'm like I do have a very relaxed and enjoyable approach to like
Starting point is 00:18:55 food and training and nutrition it's not maybe as intuitive as you but it's not in any way like restrictive yeah it's just slightly different to how you go about your do you know what i think i think people may ask this because the people who ask that that sort of question are people who are in a mindset where they can't imagine doing that when it's not feeling restrictive so it just doesn't make sense for them whereas when you're out of that restrictive mentality you can still you know meet goals and meets fitness you know fitness goals and everything without it being like a disorder a hundred percent but i just find it i think they find it really hard to even comprehend that i find a lot of the time like a lot of my clients who come to me will come from a background
Starting point is 00:19:47 of fad dieting and doing all the slimming world and weight watchers and crazy diets which are like meal replacement shakes and stuff like that so going from that to a flexible meal plan where you're eating every kind of food you want to eat and you're you know fitting in the foods that are quote-unquote bad into your diet but you're still like aware of the calories you're eating to hit your goals that is so much less restrictive than like what they may have been doing beforehand yeah i guess your clients has just got to know like they've got to learn that it's not bad if they don't reach a goal or if they don't yeah there is no race yeah the only person you're in competition with is yourself I guess it's just a sticky area isn't it because like only you know yourself whether it's going to
Starting point is 00:20:38 be a bad tool to use or a good useful tool to use because i think for me there are things that i would have to avoid like i still don't know if i can go back to tracking calories or not because i still don't know if that's going to be like a big trigger for me and that's just going to get me down the spiral again when was up curiosity when was the last time you tracked calories or opened my fitness pal oh god when did I stop tracking calories? Well, I officially deleted the app last year, last summer. No, it was a bit after that, actually, I think. And you haven't opened it. When did I finish my weight gain?
Starting point is 00:21:18 October, wasn't it? Last October? Yeah. Oh, my God, a year ago. About a year ago. Was it October? I thought it was in summer. No.
Starting point is 00:21:26 No, we carried on for a bit. Shit. And then I carried on a little bit with my fitness power and then I stopped. So it hasn't even been a year yet. But there's definitely been times where I've been so close to thinking, shit, I kinda made, when I'm a bit triggered, like, oh yeah, maybe I can,
Starting point is 00:21:42 if I just know these calories, then maybe it'll just rest my head or rest my brain but i do know that that's not gonna that's not gonna be the answer to my problems like that's not gonna help my trigger like it's just gonna feed my trigger more yeah so i would literally just have to avoid that like at all costs but maybe one day i'll download it like i don't know never say never yeah for like a good reason not for a bad reason but i think still it's like a very sticky area for me. Like even seeing calories on menus, it's like, fuck sake, I wish I didn't see that.
Starting point is 00:22:11 I just wish I didn't see that. So I just know, like, I could, it could be easy for me to just say, oh, it doesn't affect me, but it does. So it's just a bit annoying. But also, like you said, like, with going back to the the question you're you do have clients that do need some sort of structure and you do like post that but I think there are still going to be people who see your content who are in a bad mentality and they're still they're just going to
Starting point is 00:22:38 see it in a bad way and I think that's just you know the reality of social media and how like hard it is to find what's good for you yeah without coming across things that may be triggering do you know what I mean yeah at the end of the day like we both have the same overall message yeah we both want to help people but it's just the way we deliver our overall message is slightly different like yours is very much like weight gain and no restrictions mine is you know more weight loss but no restrictions yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah but the overall aim is to like help people be healthy be happy be just find their happy spot confident in their body and love yeah
Starting point is 00:23:17 that's so true so I hope that answers the question I love you too love you should I ask that one did you see this I don't know what you're talking about fave sex position oh that's juicy oh okay you go first no I'm asking you my question to you I'm just going through my head the people who's gonna listen to me you can't you have to ignore you have to ignore you have to ignore that you answer it first
Starting point is 00:23:51 I mean it depends I can't think of okay one main one that is a fave but not like it's a fave probably because I don't think i can say it okay i'm just i'm just gonna go fast i i like being on top
Starting point is 00:24:17 oh wow do you yeah Yeah. More in control. I do just like a classic. Downward. Downward D. What? What, like, missionary? No, downward dog. Oh.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Downward D. Anyway, moving on. Okay, next one. A bit more tame, please. A bit more tame please a bit more tame a bit more tame there's a lot about virginity is there quite a young audience branda how many kids do you want and what age is your desired i think they mean like how old you want to be when you have kids how many kids I want I think I want to but it depends like how much pain I'm in for the first one I may I may just have to start with one you know my vagina can't take that much I would like both but I think my first one I would like a little girl me too like a little girl you just too I would like a little girl I think it's just you can relate to them more
Starting point is 00:25:26 you know at what age you know what I don't know I don't put I don't set myself any sort of timeline
Starting point is 00:25:35 no because I just think it's just going it always goes out the window yeah I mean for me like after what's happened like God knows
Starting point is 00:25:42 I'm just not gonna put any like time stamps or like just no pressure pressure on myself to do things at certain times like I feel like there is unfortunately so much pressure on women to get married have kids settle down have this cute perfect family before you're bloody 28 and it's just so ridiculous because it's so old-fashioned it's so old-fashioned like that's just not the way of the world anymore like no I remember my grandma got married like 19 and like times change yeah you know how old was your mom when she had you well my mom was 19 when she got married oh my god but then she got divorced okay um when she had you? Well, my mum was 19 when she got married. Oh, my God. But then she got divorced.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Okay. And she had me when I was 27. No, when I was 27. When you were... She popped out like an actual human adult. Sorry, Mum. No, she had me when she was 27. It's still young. Like, yeah I can't I'm 25 you're 25 right yeah 25 that's in two years I mean no I could I couldn't throw my life away
Starting point is 00:26:56 just yet throw your life it is honestly I mean it's a lot of work isn't it i don't know like i i know i'm good with kids well i actually don't because i haven't had kids but i've got a niece and i love her but still like it does kind of scare me like i don't know if like what they what i'm doing to them is the right thing like if they want food you just imagine me like literally having a bit like holding a baby like am i how the hell do i hold this baby yeah no i mean i had a little bit of experience with you know yeah my ex because he had kids but i was really good with them but i just thought like oh my god like it's just a lot work like i could kind of like picture us like going to a coffee shop with our babies oh yeah
Starting point is 00:27:43 like we bring them to the radio i feel like i'm in sort of a mum dress today you are you look very mumsy mumsy yeah i'm channeling my inner mum but you know what i do want before i have kids i really really really want a kitten and i'm gonna get one i'm getting a puppy are you i'm gonna get a puppy in december oh yeah i i should get a kitten. You know when you become in love with the idea of something? Yeah. I feel like I already have fallen in love with my cat, and I don't even have it yet.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Like, I really... Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I need a little furry friend. I think you do. I can really imagine you with a little cat. What cat would you go for? Oh, I don't know. I don't know many breed cats.
Starting point is 00:28:23 I'm sorry I'm not a cat person. Oh, I am. Oh. Well, that's good, because you many breed cats i'm sorry i'm not a cat person oh i am oh well that's good because you're getting a cat yeah i'm a dog person so that's good i'm getting a dog um should we do last one i wanted to do the what is the last lie you told him why did you lie but i can't think of a lie like i'm really trying to think of a lie and i think that's a really good sign of both of us yeah we just don't lie I do think that lying doesn't get you anywhere in life. Like I really don't. The truth always comes out.
Starting point is 00:28:49 The truth will always come out. It really does. And like even if you're like tempted to say like a little white lie, I'm just like, what's the point? Like you may as well just tell the truth. Like what's the point in saying that you're running late because your car broke down when you could just say,
Starting point is 00:29:04 sorry, I'm running late, I didn't wake up in time. Do you know what I mean? Why do humans have this innate thing where they have to lie? This desire to lie. Give a excuse. I think because it's just like, it is just this whole thing of fearing what people are gonna think of you.
Starting point is 00:29:21 But surely people are gonna think worse of you when they find out that you've lied yeah so maybe you know what if you're listening to this and you're you're a quite you know an avid liar maybe hold back a bit maybe just next time try and tell the truth i i feel like i'm such a bad liar which right stops me right right like I just giggle yeah yeah yeah really seriously no I can seriously imagine I just look away and I can't look at the person in the face oh yeah I know I can imagine you do that I think like if what what your thoughts on lying to someone to try and protect them no because then
Starting point is 00:30:02 it will come out in the end like it will always i know i'm trying to think an example oh okay say like you okay say like you're you found out that your best friend is being cheated on but you don't want to tell them because you don't want to be the one to maybe give them the news you'd rather like her know through the boyfriend oh i would if right if that happened and i knew my best friend had been cheated on by her boyfriend and i knew about it i'd go to the boy and i'd say you tell her today yeah yeah yeah yeah or i would yeah but what if before that she's like do do you know anything? And you haven't even spoken to the boyfriend yet. I think I'd have to be like.
Starting point is 00:30:48 I'd be like, I have a suspicion. Mm, so it's a little white lie, isn't it? It's not a lying, but it's also not telling the truth. Yeah. So tricky. Okay, my question. Okay, yeah. What is the worst sexual experience you've ever had?
Starting point is 00:31:13 That's quite a big one. I'm going to say like when I lost my virginity. Is there not anything like a funny sex story or something like where it went wrong? Or like you're like, oh oh my god get me out of here not really no I haven't really had anything bad I mean there's some obviously sometimes where like I'm sort of regretting it halfway in because I don't like I'm not attracted to the girl and I'm kind of like just ready to go, ready to dip. Oh, God. But that's just as bad as it gets, really.
Starting point is 00:31:50 What about you? Oh, God. Okay. Oh, my God. I feel like you've got something to say. Do I know this? No. Where's my popcorn?
Starting point is 00:32:00 I thought I was going to have to go to hospital. Oh, my God. Sorry. Yeah, no, it was bad. So it's quite funny, actually, thinking back on it. So we were cooking dinner and I was... Okay, stop laughing. And I was making something with chili.
Starting point is 00:32:19 And I can't remember what it was. It was something spicy. And then a few hours later, we're having sex. Right. And I felt like this severe burning sensation down there. Oh, don't. And like, I didn't know what was happening at all. And like, obviously, you know, there's spice around in the mouth area.
Starting point is 00:32:51 Wait, what? yeah around mouth area what a spouse spice in the mouth area yeah and then like you know when you're like kissing and like oh I see I see what you can actually taste the spice how spicy curry but yeah basically after eating this very spicy dinner we had sex and i just felt the worst burning pain i have ever experienced and like i literally had to run out get in the shower and i was like in this ice cold shower oh my god like like crying because it was that painful it was so bad and then i googled it and it was like the worst thing you can do is have a shower because that just spreads the um oh god the chemical from the chili you have to use dairy oh my god no you didn't get yogurt
Starting point is 00:33:38 it's worse wait i'm trying to think what you got ice cream squirty cream no you didn't it was the only thing I could do and it did work but it was so painful I was crying that is good that is really good if you ever actually no just never have sex after eating something spicy. Just don't do it. And if you do, make sure you've got some squirty cream. Oh, just, yeah. What else can you use? Aloe vera?
Starting point is 00:34:13 No, it was just dairy. Oh, great. I actually thought that was a myth, like having milk after something spicy. It's a myth. That is actually quite a funny story. Yeah. Yeah, I don't think I could top that. No.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Wow. I think that's the last one. Can that be the last one more one more okay let's try to need our quotes does body count matter matter to a guy i'm assuming i think guys would have a problem with it wrongly in but in which direction if if a guy like from my experience like being with guys like they would be put off if you had a high body count but yeah but i feel like the other way around they don't think it's wrong for them to have a high body count oh yeah no so true like it's double standards yeah like it will give them like a huge ego boost if they yeah but yeah but i think it's the same with girls like i would see a guy with a high body count be like that's not that's not cool
Starting point is 00:35:10 no it's not like that's disgusting but at the same time what we said at the beginning of the podcast each your own if you want to do that like whatever i actually feel like sometimes if you go into a relationship it's just not wise to have those conversations about like i yeah i don't think it's actually worth knowing because it's in the past yeah you can't change it doesn't matter like you accept that person for who they are yeah yeah yeah so true i don't know like would you you're not gonna put it on your cv no yeah like why does it matter i don't yeah it shouldn't matter but i think it does. But it shouldn't. What about low body count?
Starting point is 00:35:48 Yeah, I think. Nothing wrong with that. It actually does not bother me at all. I didn't think it bothers me at all. But I also just wouldn't have the cheek to even ask. No. Like I wouldn't care. If it comes up naturally in conversation
Starting point is 00:36:00 and I find out that they're like 200, I'm like, fuck it now. 200? See, some people you see on Love Island are like, yeah, 200, but I bet they're like 200. I'm like, 200? Some people you see on Love Island are like, yeah, 200. But I bet they're just trying shit. No,
Starting point is 00:36:10 I wouldn't like to be with someone who didn't know how many people they'd slept with. Oh yeah, there's a lot of those guys. Oh, there's a lot of those guys. But that's why I'd rather just not know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:22 Naivety is bliss sometimes. Yeah, 100%. Just don't ask. Yeah, just don't ask. So I think it does matter but I shouldn't. Yeah, right, anyway, should we wrap up? Wrap up, baby. Do you have a quote, baby?
Starting point is 00:36:32 I got a quote. I really like this quote today. And I think I actually remind myself this every single day, like all the time. "'Nothing outside of you has power over you. "'You decide how you think feel and do things in your life take full ownership and become free oh i love that yeah it's so hard to know that when you're maybe in times when it's like you feel like out of control and like i don't know
Starting point is 00:36:57 it's affecting your mood but like at the end of the day you are in control of your mood so like you can't just switch that around yeah Yeah, you know do something you love You just make yourself happy do whatever You're in control. I love that. Yeah, so like I was like when a guy's like getting to me I'm like fuck you like you're not in control of my emotions here. I'm in control of my emotions Yeah, so I should not be sad about your perception is everything. Yeah Hmm, and it's you're also your perception isn't fact as well. Do you know I mean? Like what you see in the world is just your perception.'s not fact that's another quote i saw yeah does that
Starting point is 00:37:30 make sense like opinion is not fact yeah thoughts are not facts like last yeah you know what's your one um my one i actually saw it the other day and i saved it you know on Instagram you can save oh yeah yeah so much okay you can't give your life more time so give the time you have left more life oh that's really good yeah I like that one I'll take that one home with me I'll put that on my wall frame it where are you going now what's your plans oh I'm gonna edit this podcast oh god ready for Wednesday yeah the hustle don't stop people what about you I am going to the office
