Welcome to an HBO podcast from the HBO Late Night series Real Time with Bill Maugh. Okay, thank you very much. But the storm, of course, you know, is hitting what they call the Redneck Riviera. Our thoughts are with the people there. It's devastating to be hit by the hoax of climate change. That's a terrible thing. No, Trump, the hurricane is very much on his mind. There was a whole roll of paper towels on stuck to his shirt.

No, he had bigger things on his mind today. Kanye West was in the Oval Office. I'm sure you saw it. Easy and cheesy. Boy, they are... It was like a meeting of the lost minds. I'd tell you, it was... But they both had to do a lot to make the meeting happen.

Trump cleared his schedule and Kanye skipped his meds. So... No, it kind of... It kind of makes sense. Trump likes celebrities, and Kanye likes big asses. But let's not make fun. The meeting was a big success. In fact, at the end of it, Kanye signed a pledge to stop developing his nuclear weapons program.

That's ridiculous. Speaking of crazy and unhinged, Trump is out there this week on the campaign trail, calling Democrats an angry mob. We're the angry mob. And the party of crime. He's president, I know you are. What am I? He says Democrats now are too dangerous to govern.

We're the angry mob, but they're chanting to lock up an 85-year-old woman who didn't do anything wrong. I wonder where anybody got the idea of calling them deplorable. No, I mean, first it was Hillary Clinton lock her up, then Diane Feinstein lock her up. When they're a solution to every woman you don't like is detainment. You're not the party of Lincoln. You're the party of Arc Kelly.

Now also, we saw this week, Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in to the Supreme Court. Embarrassing moment, he raised his right hand and out of habit touched his finger to his nose. And Melania is back from a trip to Africa. And she didn't give interviews very often because she speaks vampire, you know. But she gave a very rare interview, and she said some very interesting things. She said, there are certain people in the administration that you cannot trust, but you would not say who. Hint, he's fucking Stormy Daniels. All right.
