Welcome to an HBO
podcast from the HBO late-night series,
Real Time with Bill Maugh.
Thank you very much.
No, after a two-year investigation,
Mueller's conclusion was,
someone should really investigate this.
But, you know, people say
that we did not learn anything
from the Mueller investigation.
That's not true.
We learned that you can commit a crime
if you do it out in the open.
That's what I learned.
And this Bill Barr,
the stooge that Trump put as his Attorney General.
Apparently he read the whole 300-page Mueller report
in one night.
Like a Harry Potter book.
Yeah, I feel like Robert Kraft trying out a new spa
and finding out it's actually a spa.
Trump was not the only one who got off this week.
Jesse Smollett. Did you see that? He is free to go.
Apparently, he had a note from William Barr. That's really what it takes.
but Trump tweeted, listen to this,
he Trump tweeted,
Smollett getting off is outrageous
and an embarrassment to our nation.
Thank you, President projection.
He said also, he's obsessed with wind
in the same interview where he was talking about treason
and getting people in revenge,
he said, if it wasn't for him,
America would now be powered by wind,
and it wouldn't have worked
because it only blows sometimes.
As opposed to,
to Donald Trump, who blows always.
And he's always, he's just, he gets these obsessions.
He's always attacking wind.
I mean, you would too if it took five hours to do your hair.
But he's convinced himself that when windmills aren't turning, there's no power,
and we'd all be just sitting in the dark.
He also believes when he turns off the TV, the people at Fox News freeze.
until he turns it back on.
But he pivoted right away from his big victory
to this self-inflicted wound.
He declared yesterday that the Republican Party
is now the party of great health care
by taking away your health care.
It's like, remember Obama?
If you like your health care plan,
you can keep your health care plan.
They have, if you like your health care plan,
you can go fuck yourself.
Okay.
