Starting point is 00:00:23 You're back? I think it sounds okay. There's kind of a faint. Like a hiss? Oh, yeah. Do you think I should? Is it the right port? It's in the right, it's in all the right holes, but let me just try another one real quick.
Starting point is 00:00:38 Okay. Did we lose all that? Yeah. Oh, no. That's all right. We were just gassing on Michael Tracy, but you know what? We're going to get him on the show. We can save it.
Starting point is 00:01:01 Well, how much did we lose everything? I don't know. We'll see. Possibly since I switched the mic. Oh. I can't tell because I wasn't looking. Okay. Well.
Starting point is 00:01:13 But you know what? We'll get Michael on. Yeah, we'll have him give him. We'll glaze him IRL. Well, I was just saying that Mike Tracy is like going from one hub to another in his sweatpants confronting protesters who hate him. these people specifically are not even protesting an injustice or a cause. They're protesting his very existence.
Starting point is 00:01:39 They're like turning out for him. He's going to the anti-Michael Tracy protest. Yeah. I get anxious like going to a party sometimes because I'm like, what if some people there think I'm problematic? You know? And like that never has it transpired that that's even been the case. but sometimes I get into like a negative narcissistic fantasy
Starting point is 00:02:03 where I'm like, everyone's mad at me. They don't want to be. Everyone's looking at me. Yeah. They don't want to be associated. And like my ops might be there. And it's like he's just going right into the lion's den, literally, like a gladiator. Fearless Socrates.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Yeah. But yeah, they shut down frat parties at Cornell. Yeah, I noticed that was the latest development. Great idea. For the best. Amazing solution. What could possibly go wrong? There won't be any off-campus parties that the college will magically not be liable for.
Starting point is 00:02:39 Kind of a good solution, actually. Yeah. I feel like the kids have to get their let out in a controlled environment. But it's not a controlled environment. That's the thing. I think you're right. They just don't want to be liable. So it's a win-win.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Right. They can do the gang. They can do the gang bangs off-camp. this. Well, so I was listening to Dark Horse. Katie Barry? Do you see Day? No. No, I wish. The song I listen to a lot when I'm showing my pussy lips off at the gym. But, no, it's a couple's podcast, a marital podcast.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Hosted by Brad Lymein. And his wife. wife, Heather Haying. I was doing this obviously as a bit, not sincerely. Yeah. Because, like, you know, people will say that we, our voices really put them to sleep. Well, these two are the most like, soporific pair you'll ever meet. And they, it would be so funny if we had just, like, departed with our usual casual format
Starting point is 00:03:48 and just adopted their format, which is like speaking in NPR tones and annoyingly clarifying. Dasha, I'm going to give you the opportunity to speak in a moment. But first, let me clarify what I meant. Two things. One, it's like that kind of. Talking to your spouse like that is crazy. But yeah, it's amazing that they. And there was a point where she was like, you know,
Starting point is 00:04:13 I spoke to both of my sons who are college age 20 and 22. And it's like they were talking at the Cornell 7 obviously. It's like, A, like, why are you talking to your kids about coronel? all seven. B like they're his kids too. Why are you calling them my kids? They're his kids too. Our kids.
Starting point is 00:04:35 But there was this point where I'll pull it up. It was really funny where she like to Heather McDonald's point that college campuses you know give their students like confused bipolar messaging that's like on the one
Starting point is 00:04:51 hand extremely sex positive and on the other hand. extreme, like, sexual austerity. Mm-hmm. They, she dug up some official checklist that Cornell authorities had published and disseminated. That was basically a menu of sex acts. Mm-hmm. And it was like sex with two people, sex with three people, sex with more than three people.
Starting point is 00:05:18 That's how they had it. Clamps and restraints, playing with bodily fluids and, like, so on and so forth. And like it was a survey that respondents were supposed to answer by saying whether they were into it, whether they had like done any of it, whether it was a fantasy or whether they weren't sure. Is that a college survey? Yeah. And I'm like, I'm not sure how many college kids are actually paying attention to like official media. Campus media of this nature. I doubt any of them are really.
Starting point is 00:05:51 but the fact that it's even out there is damning. Like, colleges shouldn't be publishing and circulating this kind of material. Well, Madonna talks about it in her piece, too. They have, like, the sex positive kiosks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Where they hand out lube and, like, nipple clams. Yeah, that's just bizarre. Yeah, personal massages. Yeah. Disgusting. Yeah. Uh, but yeah, that was, like,
Starting point is 00:06:16 an interesting little tidbit. Oh, and the other thing that, um, I did want to say about Michael Tracy that I'm reminded of because I was watching those clips where he's like jaunting around in his creamsicle t-shirt and maroon sweatpants. The C-SPAN hoodie.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Yeah. But those it's like a bunch of women and allies confronting him and yelling at him and this makes women look really bad and gives women a bad name because they're just like so awful and loud and strident and aggressive.
Starting point is 00:06:51 And wearing wearing wearing. like costumes. Yeah, but realistically it's a very small cross section of women who basically fall into two types and like the first type is like the frizzy-haired
Starting point is 00:07:04 mulata disruptor type and then the second type is like the Kool-Aid-haired diner goth, Hicklib. Yeah, that about covers it. Single white female type, yeah. Or like
Starting point is 00:07:17 yeah, or like men. like menopausal mental patient. Yeah, that too. No, it's actually just like shocking how, um, unattractive and unhealthy they look for how young they are.
Starting point is 00:07:32 And also for how, um, angry and bitter they are for how young they are. Mm-hmm. About something that's really, they're not really at risk of to be honest. Being raised. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:43 You know, it's low hanging fruit, but yeah, they wish. You're like, yeah. But it's, it is,
Starting point is 00:07:50 do you even go here? Yeah, and some of them do you look slightly older than normal college age? A lot of them are not college students. They're just there. Like Michael Tracy. Yeah. Hey kids. They should remake legally blonde, but with Michael Tracy and he just confronts people on campus.
Starting point is 00:08:11 I really want... Never been kissed. He goes back to college. He has to pose as a college student. It's like a classic nightmare. To infiltrate. No, I really do want Peter Thiel to throw me some scurl to make Michael Tracy, which I envision as like a Barry Lyndon type pickeresque.
Starting point is 00:08:32 But instead of like scamming and sleeping his way to the top, he just gets confronted by unattractive libertart females on various college campuses. It's an odyssey. He's on an odyssey of his own. Yeah, I saw Simone make the point that after. all the flack he got for his like, the Epstein saga, which is dovetailing really.
Starting point is 00:08:57 He's really on to something. Because now there's all this, and even back, even a couple of a week or however long ago, in AOC was it, Ithagam. Yeah, that like the fraternity is the same as the Epstein list.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Uh-huh. What? What? That it's all, all these men are like, the paid, the patriarchy, the power structure. They're all protecting each other because they all love to rape. Yeah, it is like a eyes wide chubrician conspiracy where all these men of all ages and races and backgrounds are colluding.
Starting point is 00:09:36 It's all rape culture. And conspiring against women, which is like, you literally wish. It's patently not true, but you wish. We'll get him in the war room. Yeah, I mean, I'm curious, like, Well, I want him to answer for, I mean, this, I'm not going to. No, we'll say. Confront or attack.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Let's get him on here. And then we'll fight over who gets to be with him. Yes. Who wins his heart in the end? Michael, I want to have your baby. Thank God you're here. Can I sleep in your car with you tonight? Everyone is also.
Starting point is 00:10:24 so crazy and deranged. I think they think that I'm like dead serious when I do the horny for Michael Tracy bit, which is only half true. It's not a hundred percent true. He is a, he is my type. Yes. You know? I do find him charming and cute. I am not lusting for him. Yeah. Um, but there's something. The Riz is off the chart. Like, you know. Well, I was watching, um, old Hitchens clips as I'm. want to do from time to time, just thinking how magnetic and talented he is, or was. And it dawned on me that, like, in our cohort of, like, media commentator celebs, there's really only two who are carrying the torch in terms of, like, talent and magnetism.
Starting point is 00:11:17 And that's, like, Michael Tracy and Nick Flintos. They're, like, in a league of their own. Everybody else is just like seriously like uninteresting and untalented by comparison. Or if they are talented, they don't have like the stamina or the courage, you know. So true. And obviously just in general, like generationally, it's like still a decline from like, yeah, like your dick cavits or Johnny Carson's or whatever. But. Well, if they had the infrastructure.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Yes. Yeah. And the culture. It's like everything is in decline so we get these. Yeah, of course. And obviously, like back in the day, like print media when it was still alive and well, like your Harper's Bazaars and your Vanity Fair's, which Christopher Hitchens wrote for, like they selected for colorful, eccentric personalities
Starting point is 00:12:15 who were sort of like solitary lifelong alcoholic bachelors, meaning that they had the time and energy and resources to, do independent reporting and investigation because they weren't like long housed by some hag and brats you know well they're bisexual i'm like just such a fan of him as a figure i almost like forgot that tracy is like a journalist yeah like at the campus protest he was like you just don't want to talk to journalists and i was like oh right like that's what is like motivating him to be there like i'm pro him being there regardless but i'm like oh Right. No, right. No, he's like, he's there in his capacity as an independent journalist. And he's right. But he like gave himself that. It's also so inspiring because it's like he gave himself the permission. To be a journalist. To show up and be like, I'm a journalist. Well, he is a journalist. He's the best we have. He's an effective journalist. Because he's actually, um, in his own way, even though like everyone else, um, he's obviously a victim of some kind of bias of his own.
Starting point is 00:13:23 he does like really care about like the truth yeah and neutrality and he's willful you know and it was the case that journalists back in the day had outsized personalities yeah like Tom wolf Gloria Steinem all these people they were like interesting like well-rounded people in their own regard. Yeah. And now, well, now print media
Starting point is 00:13:55 to the extent that it even exists like literally just selects for bland bugmen. Like that's what you have to be to hack it as a journalist. And also you have to come from like an affluent family.
Starting point is 00:14:04 Yeah. That's why no one's like, that's why Tracy's the only one doing it. And all he has is like a substack. Yeah. He's not like credentialed. But he doesn't need it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:17 And it's like a dual problem. That's not really a problem because A, no respectable in quotes outlet would ever hire him and be they effectively don't exist so he's doing just fine yeah i should subscribe to his substack i should throw him a bone um he should throw us a bone sorry tune in next week when we rape michael tracy see how he likes it The zoo part two. The zoo.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Sorry, what were you going to say? I was going to talk about the new press secretary. Oh, yeah. Let's get into that. I mean, I'm kind of like out of the loop, but I saw that there was a new one who's replacing Caroline Levitt left for personal family reasons. Yeah, they got it.
Starting point is 00:15:15 And yeah, she gave her first press conference yesterday and really botched it, did really bad. And I see like Pesobiac and co kind of like con ink types might being like well she only had she had less than 24 hours to prepare. And she's her job. It's literally her job. And she can't, she's like reading like basically. She's like, I'm so glad to be here to be your new. And she's like reading White House Press secretary like all of a piece of paper.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Like she really. And yeah, maybe she'll improve. I don't think she'll last very long. Same. I had that same. Who is she? She's some kind of fake lawyer. She has a law degree.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Law firm that works with China and North Korea. Also is like a producer of like the kind of like, I don't know if it's Angel Studios, but like the young Washington movie that came out, like weird like right wing ghetto movies. That I love. So it's working by the way. No disrespect. Those great movies. Yeah, she's got kind of like a creepy.
Starting point is 00:16:27 No one knows what year she was born on her Wikipedia. It says like 81 or 82, unclear. And she has a law degree but has never passed the bar. And I guess was a lawyer in China at some point. Right, where you don't need to pass the bar because anything goes. Unclear. The wild, wild east, yeah. I don't know where she came from
Starting point is 00:16:53 she answered like three questions the whole question and then like kind of cut the conference short and bailed. Okay. I kind of like the look of her. Yeah, she looks all right. I like the frosty blonde. I saw some people disparaging it,
Starting point is 00:17:11 but I thought like when I first just when I saw the her image I kind of was like, it looks about right. And I do like when a. lady does it. A lady does what? The press secretary. Well,
Starting point is 00:17:25 it's a woman's job. No. It doesn't have to be. It doesn't have to be, but it is one of those things that's like spiritually female. It's just, it just makes sense. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Especially with this admin. And she's the third of, so there was Kaylee McAnanney. Right. Who I look, she got that big cross on. She had that big diamond cross. And then Caroline leave it.
Starting point is 00:17:48 was the youngest ever. Yeah, but weirdly looked like she was the oldest. It ages you. It's so, it's a lot, you know, I joke about wanting to, to do it.
Starting point is 00:18:01 But I don't think I, I'd have to get on like a different cocktail of meds. You'd have to get more blonde. I want to. I think I'm planning on it. Okay. Because I think it'll help my mood. Because they really do the,
Starting point is 00:18:15 the bottle blonde bimbo look. Frost, yeah. Yeah. I also have to stop playing with my hair, which I... What are you pulling it out, like a bird? Well, I do that, but also, like, I fidget and play with, like, the ends of my hair and, like, autistically... You can't be seen on camera, yeah. Like, fidgeting.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Like, squirrelly and, like, blinking too much and getting scared. So I'd have to get on, like, a... Yeah, the trainees are, like, she has sending subliminal message. I'd have to get that under control and maybe get on, like, a beta block. but I think I could do a better job than Katie. Also, Katie is so Katie Zachariah. Katie is so unsurious. Why not?
Starting point is 00:19:02 I think it's a decent White House Press secretary name. Why not? Because it's like classic and all-American. Well, it's the KKK. It's Kaylee Caroline with a K. And I like that they are all like a sequence of bottle blonde bimbos. That just works and fits. Why not Catherine with a K?
Starting point is 00:19:23 True. Because I never saw Caroline with a K either. And she has a penis. Well, the whole thing also with being a bottle blonde bimbo is that it's an evergreen archetype. But the idea is that you're actually secretly scrappy and smart. They made a whole movie about it. Yeah. And this woman just seems stupid and confused.
Starting point is 00:19:49 she doesn't seem that bright. I don't know how. Like I thought we were all in on the joke that like Bimbo means actually pretty intelligent woman. Yeah, or at least like public, a good public speaker. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Which she is, that's like basically the job. Oh. Is to speak confidently in public. It's like you're, you're old, you had one job. And it seems like I,
Starting point is 00:20:15 you know, maybe it's harsh to judge her on her like one and only. debut showing, but she, like, doesn't seem to be able to communicate. She can't really read. She's struggling to get the words out. She's bad at, like, playing the room. Yeah. Well, they're all against her, but you have to be fortified against that.
Starting point is 00:20:38 She seems overly nervous. She definitely... First day jitters. Yeah. But that's not an excuse. You got to go out there. You got to be a killer. But that job of all jobs is...
Starting point is 00:20:49 a job where that cannot be tolerated. Exactly. Dismissed. Yeah, you can be like a little nervous and have the jitters if you're like a back end behind the scenes person. Yeah. Sure. If you like have to give a impromptu press conference.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Yeah. Because some events have transpired. But this is literally what she's supposed to be good at. That's far she has not been. It's what she's hired for. Well, I was in D.C., obviously. last weekend for a wedding and just randomly in conversations with like people like friends who either had worked or were currently working for the Trump administration.
Starting point is 00:21:36 The vibe was pretty bleak. Everybody seems pretty disillusioned, demoralized. I don't think the midterms are going to go well. Yeah, I don't know. It doesn't seem that way. And these people aren't like, rabbit ideologues or true believers necessarily, but they are like,
Starting point is 00:22:00 sane and ambitious young people who have like a positive vision for the future of America and society. And I mean, it's a tale's oldest time, like coming in, being kind of like idealistic and naive and getting chewed up and spit out, duh, whatever. But it is sad to see so many people. not being able to contain their pessimism, you know?
Starting point is 00:22:30 I mean, there's been a lot of flops, a lot of blunders so far. I guess this girl reminded me of Trump one where his, like, cabinet and staff were just, this is like a clown show of flunkies. Yeah. And the thing that is that I... Scaramucci. I do think they should cycle her out probably sooner rather than later. There's got to be someone better.
Starting point is 00:22:58 But I do because I hold depressed in such low esteem. I do enjoy like them having to interface with someone so like clearly kind of like retarded. It is kind of an amusing troll that they have to like at least exhibit some kind of like procedural deference. So this like bamboo who gets out there and goes, Good morning. I go, good morning. The way she talks, too, it's like, really like 90s horror.
Starting point is 00:23:30 She's trying to like project positivity and the energy and excitement. Yeah. And everything is going great. And I'm not taking any more questions. Goodbye. I'm not currently on any pills of any kind. My prep. I mean, my husband.
Starting point is 00:23:51 That was like the big. That was a good Freudian. She was like, oh, that was pretty bad. That was a good one. I guess your husband is your president, if you think about it. That's fair. Yeah. And the president kind of is your husband if you're working in close, a work husband.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Yes. That's a thing. Yeah. I wouldn't know. You're my work husband. My one colleague. The workplace. You know?
Starting point is 00:24:23 We're at the office. That's all I really, that's all I really have about, about Katie Moore will be revealed. What's the deal with Kimberly Gillfoil? Oh, she's been dismissed. She got fired for pretty naked corruption. Okay. Honestly. What was the nature of the corruption?
Starting point is 00:24:47 She was appointed as an ambassador to Greece. Right. And was on signal writing to some. guy some donor and told him basically like in very explicit terms that if he paid
Starting point is 00:25:08 not even like paid off her $100,000 amex bill that she would like do his bidding so it was like personal corruption well yeah but she's like it works in the government right you said a thousand
Starting point is 00:25:21 100,000 she said just take care of this amex bill for me and then I'll do right by you and then I guess she failed to and so he exposed her. Okay. But did he pay the bill? I think he did, but then he didn't get. Oh, that's hilarious. Oh, he didn't, yeah. Whatever she was. Yeah. There was no exchange for him. It was not a quid pro quo. That's hilarious. Marcus Epstein told me that he'd give us $7,000 each to support JD vans,
Starting point is 00:25:51 but I don't think I can really do it. Seven thousand. That's it? A little low, yeah. 70,000. I'd be willing to play ball. I'd think about it at least. $7,000. If Peter pays for my IVF and my Barry Lyndon Michael Tracy remake, I'll do and say anything. That's insulting, the 7K.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Yeah. I assume you've heard this before, but I guess not. This is news to you. He sort of floated it, but he's never given me a number. slow yeah I can make that rage baiting on X.com through their creator program which you should send up for honestly what is that I saw that they like got rid of the old monetization model and it's a new one rolled out a new one yeah it's called X money I kind of like don't feel like tweeting anymore but but I mean if you're going to do it anyway yeah I don't know if I want to I've took like a
Starting point is 00:26:57 brief hiatus over this weekend while I was in D.C. for this wedding and like it feels better. And then you get back on Twitter and it's like people talking out like fucking the Cornell 7 still Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Jim women's gym clothing. Again. Again. Always. How much alcohol you can drink while pregnant. Kelly Clarkson, which we'll circle back to Yeah, you've been a little checked out I've been doomed scrolling a little more than usual
Starting point is 00:27:33 So I'm caught up on the news But it does the monetization While I think has been And will continue to be kind of a net negative Yeah For X It does take the sting Like off like the negativity and abuse
Starting point is 00:27:52 Because you're like all right Like that's just That's money Yes. Go ahead. This is true. Yeah. But then it does like insense, you know. I want to post from the heart.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I don't want to be thinking. What incentivizes you to become a more cynical and corrupt person who rage bates for engagement, like captive dreamer. Mm-hmm. And. Pace to play. So. Yeah. Previously good people become bad seeds.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Watch, watch it happen to me in real time. Yeah. And it like multiplies across many people. So it's just like a bad model. And it's like gay. yeah I like gamifies it which is a little irresistible to me because I love gambling it just yeah like see and the number go up and like see it you know yeah because I don't really care about like engagement on its own yeah like I kind of like when a tweet doesn't really do numbers right
Starting point is 00:28:45 it kind of feels better getting no likes when no one likes what you have to say um and we'll see how but they mailed me like a metal I guess I guess it's a debit card, but that says has my Twitter handle on it. That's funny. Whipping that out. Yeah. And Odeon. They eject you. Some protesters show up. Slaping that down. Yeah. I'll think about it, I suppose. I don't know. If the mood strikes you. It's a good way. Yeah, I've been reading this book Lenin's tomb of David Remnick about the, it's like an oral history of the last days of the Soviet Union. It's very funny because, you know, I came for a solid and comprehensive account of the collapse of the USSR, but stayed for the fact that it's just like an awesome document to Jewish libetard delusion and lies.
Starting point is 00:29:44 But like basically, like, I would just tweet about that and that's not really going to get any engagement or doing any numbers. I'm not getting paid for it. But that's like what's currently interesting to me. wins the book from 1993, but it like, oh wow. Shockingly holds up. Well, sure. Because, like, the dynamic in the Soviet Union is very comparable to the dynamic in the USA.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Yeah. We've been talking about this for years. Yeah. We're just, like, all these Jewish activists and intellectuals and ideologists who just, everybody assumes that they're, like, good and well-meaning people because they're on the side of, of democracy, they're pro-democracy. But they're actually just entitled and subversive and messing with people's lives needlessly.
Starting point is 00:30:35 It's hilarious. It's giving collapse. For sure. Should I read it? Yeah, it's like really funny and interesting. I'm intrigued. I couldn't make it through that, Adam Curtis, trauma zone. There's a book?
Starting point is 00:30:52 No, no, he made like an eight part. Oh, the right. Oh, yeah, we talked about it. We touched on it. I couldn't watch the whole thing. It was too depressing. Yeah. It was too visceral. Well done. But maybe a book would be more digestible. Yeah, that like brought me, it like unlocked some Proustian memories of like going to use like the sink in the kitchen or the bathroom. And it's spewing like brown water. I have the same. Yeah. Yeah, you have to like let the brown water run. for a while.
Starting point is 00:31:27 I got a mouse in my apartment. I know, I heard. How's that going? I went to the Catskills for the weekend and I left a baguette on the counter. Mouse confirmed. Did you do it on purpose? No, I just kind of left. I just forgot.
Starting point is 00:31:43 What happened? It left droppings everywhere. No, no draw. I haven't seen any droppings. It's coming and going. So I'm not, I was scared that it's going to like die in my apartment, which it still could, I guess. Isn't that the best outcome?
Starting point is 00:31:55 Though I guess you don't want it to die in some crevice or wall. Then I have to find its corpse. I'm more scared of a dead mouse than a living mouse. I'm a little phobic of like dead animals. Normal, I think. So yeah, I don't want to. I saw it like scamper into my closet the other night. Oh, you've laid eyes on it.
Starting point is 00:32:16 Yeah. I've seen it, but maybe schizo kind of bright. But no, the baguette confirmed. Because I thought like maybe I'm just seeing it. Maybe I'm just going nuts and like seeing it in the perrifts. But no, it's eaten, it's eaten bread. And I kind of don't mind. We can cohabitate.
Starting point is 00:32:33 It's okay. I mean, that's what I said. But like, because they're cute and small and mammals. It's not like having like roaches or centipedes or something. No, that's horrible. That's my nightmare. They do like spread disease and they are unhygienic. It's not great.
Starting point is 00:32:55 like letting a tiny homeless person into your own. But I don't want to trap it. I don't deal with it like that. Didn't you try to set one free? Yeah. And the black lady yelled at me in public because you were introducing a vermin into the New York City. That's where they live. That's that's like my, and I profusely apologized and was like I had no idea. I would never, you know, she just wanted to yell at a cracker in front of her son. It's like, you know, you have like the, the narcissistic. paranoia that if you go into a party there'll be like enemies
Starting point is 00:33:28 and ops. Yeah. Like that bit that she's up to no good. Mine is like that somebody will see me getting yelled at or yelling at a black lady and they'll be like, confirmed.
Starting point is 00:33:45 She's a, because I think people's impression of me is that I'm really loud and aggressive. Yeah. That I'm like Michael Tracy and that I show up places. and yell like white power that you're out there looking for a fight
Starting point is 00:34:03 yeah then I'm out there like screaming hard art at people not the case but I like live in fear of somebody like because some fucking black lady like yelled at me the other day I was going up the stairs of the subway carrying two like heavy bags of groceries with like my child in tow and this fucking bitch
Starting point is 00:34:28 I didn't even see her she was like several people down nobody seemed to mind because they like understood the score and she like screamed at me and was like get out the way you fucking bitch and I was like you fucking bitch it's like it's always shocking when I pull out of myself because I'm like so quiet
Starting point is 00:34:46 and shy but she was some baldheaded bitch with like those like fuzzy caterpillar eyelashes and like the bear claw fur slippers as they all wear. And I was so angry at her because like where the fuck do you have to be? You fucking bitch. I probably shouldn't have engaged in a confrontation with her.
Starting point is 00:35:09 I'd be too scared. I'd probably cower. I yell at cars. I feel empowered to yell at like cars. A, I'm walking here. The style. But I, yeah, I'm too scared. No, I would be too ordinarily.
Starting point is 00:35:24 but like I really hate when people It gets to a point Get in my face for the wrong reasons Because they're like power tripping I mean what's wrong with letting them out What do you what does she want you to do with the mouse Kill it strangle it Well that lady was actually in the right
Starting point is 00:35:40 Because she's like the custodian Of a little public community garden And if you let the mice In there they will Ruin some of the greenery that they're growing But like I had no idea and I really did like calmly and purposely apologize to her because I would never try to like blow up someone's spot like that
Starting point is 00:36:01 and I appreciate what she's doing and she's just like ornery cantankerous old bag who wanted trouble. Maybe I'll catch the mouse. Maybe I'll take it to the UN. And then it can be a little, maybe it can be a little ambassador over there. That'd be cute. We could go on a little adventure.
Starting point is 00:36:21 Stuart Little ass. Yeah, exactly. That could be cute. Yeah. There's a children's book in there somewhere. It is. It's a great idea, yeah. About a mouse who works at a decaying American institution.
Starting point is 00:36:37 So cute. Yeah. That should be our next grift is writing, is taking back the narrative and writing, like, trash children's books. Yeah, because they're also, like,
Starting point is 00:36:51 you saw that discourse about how like, um, woke and multicultural children's books are now. That no one reads. Yeah, and they're all fake because they're meant to win prizes and go to book fairs, but like ain't nobody actually like buying or reading them. Reading like my hijab-y book. And it's like,
Starting point is 00:37:10 Good Night and a job. That's like that they think is about like mastering the seas, but it's really about wearing a blue hijab. We could link up with, what's that chick's name? mega oh yeah she blocked me oh no oh because you were because i let because of the hungry hungry caterpillar discord she started she was like fuck this book it's not beautiful yeah i that chick really loves me for some reason and um i i want to be like okay your views on art are retarded
Starting point is 00:37:45 like eric carl is amazing i mean she's a philistine she's crazy it was but yeah she could we Seem up. We can make things He's a communist degenerate. Yeah, I was trying to get it's a beautiful
Starting point is 00:37:58 book that's still the test of time. This is degenerate art like email Nolda and Max Beckman. The Nazis would have thrown him in jail for this.
Starting point is 00:38:09 And then posting like anatomical kind of like biological drawings of like butterflies or you can see that they're like a bug that look gross and stupid.
Starting point is 00:38:19 It would be so funny to release a series of like instead of anti-racist baby it's just racist maybe they're not like beautiful or um educational or morally ambiguous as children's books ought to be because they should teach like a difficult moral lesson yeah like um where the red fern grows or the velveteen rabbit or something they're just stupid and ugly and ideological evil and the drawing
Starting point is 00:38:51 And the drawings are like bad AI. And that's the kind of books. They're all on passage press. And we win the J.D. Vance Award for Children's Book Publishing. I can see it. Children's book about Michael Tracy. Well, they have, do you publish children's books about like, you know, RBG and Katanji, whatever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:22 But it would be nice to see. one about Michael Tracy and his bravery and heroism. There's a market. There's a market for it. Oh, they're going to... I've been kind of trying to talk about this in the group chat. No one's really caring that much about the public execution.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Oh, yeah. They're going to kill that. His name is... What's his name? Nadal Hassan. Hassan, that's right. or Hassan Nadal, whatever. Yeah, Fort Hood shooter.
Starting point is 00:40:05 And then he's set to be executed by firing squad. You don't see that much these days. I guess we haven't done it since World War II. Really? Yeah. It seems kind of like after the Krista Pike incident, it seems kind of like the most foolproof and effective way to execute someone. I don't see the, you know,
Starting point is 00:40:26 it seems. more humane. Yeah, than electric chair or lethal injection. Both of those seem horrible. The lethal injection is like, I guess the case for it is that it's more humane, but I don't think that is, especially
Starting point is 00:40:40 when it's like getting botched and it's still is extremely painful. Yeah, it's like sterile. It's another one of those things, yeah, that makes, that lets people part with their own liability. But they also can't like a doctor can't do it.
Starting point is 00:40:58 So it's like, has like the auspices of being like a medical procedure, but it's not. Yeah. And it sort of veils like the brutality of what an execution really is. Right. Whereas the firing squad. Because I didn't realize, uh, they all aim at the heart. Yeah. And how does it work again?
Starting point is 00:41:25 I don't know. But I mean, you're right. Like, I guess the. obvious and stated purpose of an execution is to execute someone for a crime they were convicted of. But there's also like the meta aspect of it, which is to act as a deterrent. Well, that's partly by highlighting how gruesome it is to kill somebody. Well, that's, so then Hegset says they're going to live stream it. And then J.D. Vance counters signals.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Did he? Yeah. Very confusing. Yeah, they're all giving kind of mixed messages. Which I have mixed feelings about. I see people kind of debate. Like, yeah, the live streaming aspect of it is, I guess, barbaric. But I definitely would watch it.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Wouldn't be able to not watch it. And I think, I don't know, I guess if you're not opposed to the death penalty on principle, then it should be public. Because it seems worse to do like a secret execution. Yeah. And it's like kind of Soviet in nature. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:46 South Carolina uses three riflemen. Utah uses five. They fire from behind a wall. Everyone fires simultaneously. In Utah, one of the five rifles traditionally contains a blank and the shooters don't know which one. In South Carolina, all three use live ammunition. and so they all fire one shot aimed at the heart.
Starting point is 00:43:06 And the blank is the convention that removes culpability from anyone person. Yeah, so you're not like the area. Though I guess it's not always the case. But that's a nice detail philosophically kind of. Polite, noble, yeah. Yeah, it seems civilized actually. And like I understand why people are reacting badly. to the notion of live streaming,
Starting point is 00:43:34 but it's a little rich when we watch, when everyone is also so obsessed with watching like snuff videos on their phone constantly. Yeah. Like it's not exactly like we're not, we haven't already descended into like a state of like, de facto barbarism. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:54 And all of this was kind of happening concurrently with the guy in the UK who got mauled by the tiger. Yeah. Which was also very interesting. Because I saw a lot of people talking about it. And it's like tragic. The dock it is. We're talking about some boop who got mauled by a tiger in the UK.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Well, people were saying that he was like severely autistic or something, that he was mentally disabled, that his like carers should have been liable and should have prevented him from entering the enclosure. then it came out that he wasn't retarded. He was obviously having some kind of like psychosis clearly. He don't look retarded. He just looks severely mentally ill. In the video he looks like he might be. I mean, he's acting retarded going in that tiger enclosure. What do you think was going to happen?
Starting point is 00:44:47 But yeah, then there were all these people being like, they should have shot the tiger. And then, I mean, really, truly a slow news. Like people debating the ethics of. of shooting the tiger, which no one was not an option. They don't have like... Yeah, they fired warning shots to scare the tiger off.
Starting point is 00:45:10 But at that point it was already too late. Like they, there's not like a sniper at the zoo. Like, who's like ready to kill a animal. Yeah, can kill animals at moments notice. Or can turn that gun on mothers and children. Like, that's just not what the zoos... Because he's Muslim. That's just not what the zoos.
Starting point is 00:45:30 really about. This is like a tragic defiance of zoo protocol. It's like a rare freak of that. And I get they get they do have like tranquilizer guns at the zoo because they have to tranquilize animals all the time. But they don't work. But they don't work. Medical care and various shots and vaccines and stuff.
Starting point is 00:45:51 They don't like work quickly enough. And also it's like once this guy was in the enclosure, I mean it took like 30 seconds for the tiger to like rip him apart. Right. like it's also you can't just ask someone that works at the zoo to like maybe shoot a guy in the pet you know like it's just it's not what do people think of the zoo they think the zoo is like the fort hood execution or something I think there's a firing squad and also like if you take it upon yourself to jump a barrier and enter into a tiger enclosure it's suicide by tiger that's kind of like
Starting point is 00:46:25 a willful it's a choice yeah and like yeah you suppose you should be allowed to I mean I actually don't think that he like wanted necessarily or expected to be killed
Starting point is 00:46:43 he probably was having some kind of psychosis I guess there was that funny detail that like some mother who was there with her kids tried to grapple him as he was going over the barrier or whatever, which is crazy. I wouldn't try to intervene if I had my kids. I'd be, yeah, maybe I'd go like, hey. It'd be different if like a child was about to.
Starting point is 00:47:14 Harambe, yeah. Yeah, yeah, it's Harambe. And they also said that they aren't going to euthanize the tiger, which was nice and wholesome, because like why should you destroy a beautiful and majestic animal for behaving totally normally in accordance with its regular. It's not the tiger's fault, obviously. But the way, like, yeah, people are taking, like, really, like, hard-line principal stances. I see people being like, I would kill a thousand tigers to, like, save one human life. And then other people being like, well, a tiger is actually
Starting point is 00:47:44 more valuable than most of, like, like, bio, you know, scary, like, right-wing guys talk about, like, biomass and stuff. And then... Me. but it's like the straw man like everyone's having this debate with like nobody and even like the euthanasia they're like like yeah people being really like they shouldn't euthanize the tiger and it's like no one's using guess what no one's using no one's even no one's talking about this what are you talking about well it's like what you were saying before we realized we weren't recording that like um the criticism that you
Starting point is 00:48:22 or anyone else faced after erring any like non-consensus thoughts or opinions about the Cornell 7 thing was particularly unhinged and hysterical. And yeah, it seems like people in general are more and more deranged and miserable. Yeah. And like enter into these like weird rat kings. arguing with nobody. About nothing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Yeah. Arguing about like bizarre like third order hypotheticals that aren't even happening. And like, yeah, how dare you live stream the execution? But let's all watch this video with Guy and get like heated debates about it.
Starting point is 00:49:13 I mean, I can, I sort of get that because I think people are taking umbrage with the fact that an authority of the government, namely Pete Hegseth, is like ratifying, like, legitimating this sort of behavior, which in a weird way exposes their own underlying, like, Freudian impulses to engage with it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:40 And it is maybe some kind of, like, ethical breach. Ah, there's, like, you know. Or power move or something. It's definitely that. They're definitely, like, sending a message. in there. It's also a little like, we're like with the midterms. It's a little like divisive. It's like, I wouldn't be my, you know. With like from my perspective, it's, it's, it's less like a moral or ethical question and more a question than it's just like gay. What? To live stream it? Just to,
Starting point is 00:50:07 not even to live stream it, but to announce the live stream. Yeah. I mean, the case to be made is that like executions used to be public. I mean, I agree with you. If you, um, support the death penalty, then you should be comfortable with the idea, the concept of public executions. Yeah. Like, I don't know who out there is pro-death penalty. I mean, I guess there are. Yeah, there's people that want the executions, but don't want to see them.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Yeah. And if anyone has earned a public execution, it's this guy, because he, like, killed 13 people, injured 32. Yeah. Two fun facts from this case. Number one, he killed. killed a pregnant woman. I saw that.
Starting point is 00:50:51 Which is horrible and totally is a great case against women in the military. I mean. Because no one who is carrying a child should be anywhere near any sort of like military institution or formation. That's just crazy. And then the other thing is that the military actually didn't try. him for terrorism. I remember Obama.
Starting point is 00:51:23 I don't remember. I've seen, I don't remember this at all. But I guess back in the day, Obama got some heat and called it like a workplace accident. Because he worked there. He was like a, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:35 And he like opened fire on like a room of like soldiers like waiting unarmed soldiers like waiting to be deployed. Right. Yeah. It's awful. And he was about to be deployed. And I think like he did have some kind of vaguely Islamist. mode like stated motive which is that um he was sick of um muslims dying in afghanistan
Starting point is 00:51:56 the war on terror yeah radicalized him but he was probably just also a deeply troubled and messed up individual well you can i wouldn't separate that from his like ideological motives honestly he was a jihadist Well, I guess that's my question. It's hard to say if he was a jihadist or just a nut job. But what was he, so what was he tried for? Just murder? Yeah, murder and attempted murder.
Starting point is 00:52:33 Why not terrorism? I don't know. I got distracted and stopped reading at that point, but I noticed that it was an interesting tidbit that he's not. Well, I also see people being like he's a paraplegic. Yeah. But it's like that's because when they returned fire, they like paralyzed them all of the ways.
Starting point is 00:52:51 So they're like the government's going to kill a guy in a wheelchair. Yeah, I really hate that, that new thing that I saw a lot of this with the Krista Pike thing. And like long story short, she was, she was always like sounding the alarm about her lethal injection. She didn't want to do it. She had a premonition that it would go wrong. And she was right about that. And it did indeed end up being botched and she survived. And it's unclear whether they're going to try to execute her again.
Starting point is 00:53:26 And I'm actually pretty agnostic about that. Like I think if you survive an execution attempt, maybe you should get a pardon. I could be swayed to believe that. But the amount of like support and sympathy for her is astounding because like, people are like, oh, it's cruel and unusual to try to execute her a second time after a botched attempt. And it's like, well, it's also cruel and unusual to like Laura chick into the woods with your boyfriend and, like, torture her and carve a pentagram to her chest and then drop a rock on her skull over some bullshit sexual rivalry. Like, that's cruel and unusual. But she was troubled.
Starting point is 00:54:04 I know, but I'm so sick of like hearing that excuse. You could make that. I mean, it's not an excuse. Yeah. But it's kind of like, I mean, if Clancy got a mistrial. Yeah. You know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:16 You can make the case. the like and because she had you know she was like extremely traumatized and had like fetal alcohol syndrome or something you know I don't know if that's yeah if that's actually the case but um back in like during the clancy trial I was reading about yeah like uh insanity defenses yeah and it is like there's I don't know she could have had a better defense team that could have made the case that maybe you know that hurt childhood sexual abuse and resulting trauma was what caused her to like i'm not saying she's innocent but it's like should she be executed i'm very like yeah then people lashing out at the pope
Starting point is 00:55:02 for what because he issued like a he made a tweet about how the the death penalty is is it moral isn't licit well yeah i mean i guess historically not been the position of the catholic church Really? Yeah. Until Francis basically, no. Then the Francis revised, I guess, the catechism, but it's not, people are really confused about, like, papal authority and people, like, infallibility. Like, the Pope can, like, issue, like, a moral statement or decree, and it's not, it doesn't make it, like, dogma. Right.
Starting point is 00:55:41 But, no, the Catholic Church is to execute people all the time. The Crusades? I honestly. Like, they used to kill heretics. Right. Yeah. This is true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Jonah Vark, you know, many. Like, it's, that's a new, that's kind of a new thing. Mm-hmm. But it's also like irrelevant, you know, it's a little bit irrelevant really to the conversation. Because whatever, like, we have the death penalty. Yeah. So you may as well. Let's see it.
Starting point is 00:56:15 I mean, I'm still, like, after all these years. get him out of the wheelchair. On the death penalty. Yeah, make him stand up, hoist him up like a scarecrow. That's like, then the,
Starting point is 00:56:23 is that better? What if we, what if we lean him up? It's like a weekend at Bernie's. Yeah, I don't like have like particularly strong, like feelings obviously of like bloodlust where I want.
Starting point is 00:56:40 I'm not like eye for an eye. I like understand how like there is like a Christian principle. against it. Like someone like Krista Pike, I think you know brutal crime, horrible,
Starting point is 00:56:57 but a little extreme. You kill one person, you know? But if you kill a bunch of people or... I mean, I think this guy of all people has really earned his punishment. Yeah. And then I think like if you're already in prison,
Starting point is 00:57:14 like say you're doing a life sentence, And then you like kill someone in jail. Like, you know, then maybe let's let's bump you up onto death row, you know. Because it's like, what are we, how we can't even restrain you in like a. You're like unreformable. Yeah. Like the carcoral state can't, you know, it's not. But I doubt.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Yeah, I think Krista Pike should have done life slash maybe still will. Like what's the point really of? Yeah, I don't really care one. way or another whether she gets executed or not at this point. You think you'll watch the firing squad? No. No? How can you not?
Starting point is 00:57:58 I have no interest. I've never been into that kind of, I don't even watch like random like snuff or gore videos going around on the internet. I've like literally just historically had zero interest in them. I mean, I hate to see it, but I can't look away. And the firing squad in particular, I'm just very interested in. for some reason something about it.
Starting point is 00:58:20 And the pageantry and the protocol. Yeah. I like the military execution is intriguing to me. I wouldn't be able not to watch. I couldn't. You would tune in.
Starting point is 00:58:32 And it seems good. I'd rather watch that than like a lethal execution, like a lethal injection where someone's like writhing in pain. One thing is for sure. Now that they've announced
Starting point is 00:58:41 it, they should go through with it because it would be super gay and whack to walk it back. Yeah. Yeah. I kind of have to. We'll see.
Starting point is 00:58:53 I'll watch it with the sound off. What was? It's also, it's clean. It's one and it's clean. It's like a COVID vaccine the way. It's just one shot. And it would be so funny.
Starting point is 00:59:02 And you just all miss his heart and hit him in the arms and legs. He becomes like a quadruple. Well, that's what I thought when I heard firing squad. I was like, wow, they just like light you up. Yeah. A bunch of guys shooting sideways just come at you. Yeah. bro, so let's paralyze him some more.
Starting point is 00:59:21 But no, I'm interested in the, yeah, in the protocol, in the logistics. And I don't, like compared to the other stuff we've been seen on the feed over the years. Watching a guy get shot in the heart, that's nothing. I wouldn't even put that in a faces of death compilation. It's not even going to make the cut. Well, I can't tell what's what, because on the heels of all the Cornell 7 hubbub,
Starting point is 00:59:47 been seeing a lot of like Iranian honor killing videos. Oh, interesting. Because I clicked on, it wasn't even a video, like I would never even do that. I clicked on a post about some woman who was honor killed by her brother, um,
Starting point is 01:00:02 who conspired with her husband, um, who had left the home with their two children so that her brother could go in there. And like, I don't know how true any of this is, obviously. But I guess he defaced her breasts and genitals on top of her. Her brother?
Starting point is 01:00:18 Yeah, her own brother. What the hell? Yeah, and I was thinking of how funny and ironic it would be if this was indeed true because, like, after Trump bombed her on, everyone was talking about how, you know, like, look at these street scenes of Tehran. They have, like, hipster coffee shops and, like, drive-in movie theaters. Yeah, sexy chicks. There's, like, girls sagging their hijabs on their head.
Starting point is 01:00:46 and everybody reads Hegel and Kant, unlike in the United States and like that sort of thing. But like, they do be doing honor killing over there. Maybe not in the capital, but in the provinces. I don't know enough. I don't either.
Starting point is 01:01:00 And I, again, I just like assume everything on, that I see on Twitter is AI. But because of that, they throw rocks at you right now. The stone. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:10 That's like a Persian thing. And it was like, you know, it was like a Farsi post. It was all in like the, like Arabic characters and it was like translated into English. But after clicking on that shit, I've just been besieged with videos of like Muslim stoning one.
Starting point is 01:01:27 Well, that's what it does. Yeah, you look at one thing and then it's your whole feet. It's really broken. And I've actually like managed like I figured out how to like game it now. So like if I want to see like Thinspo of some like actress or model, I just click on one photo of her and then they serve me a bunch of photos. Cute animals. You have to really rig it though
Starting point is 01:01:46 You can't let you're like But it's like your natural instinct Drag your algorithm down To watch a guy Get mauled by a tiger over and over I guess I saw part of that video It wasn't that interesting Because it's like
Starting point is 01:02:02 Tigers have the same Like mannerisms as any cat Well he's kind of scolding it at one point And the tiger does like briefly kind of hesitate And that's why I think people were saying He was like disabled because that seemed like a really like retarded thing didn't do. It was like bad kitty.
Starting point is 01:02:21 The tiger is Michael Tracy and the guy is libtard protesters. And he's ripping at the fire. They shouldn't have gone in that enclosure. They're kind of more like the tiger and he's in the enclosure except he tries. Yeah, he beats the tiger. I'm going to appear real quick. Okay. What are we talking about?
Starting point is 01:02:52 Shane Gillis I didn't watch his SNL monologue But I guess he was fired from S&L originally For being racist and sexes Yeah but now he's kind of His woke one is over Because woke one's over
Starting point is 01:03:09 He kind of didn't do anything that bad He like paid adequate kind of like Lip service of anti-racism or whatever I'm not really sure I think he's pretty funny I did watch the monologue. He made kind of very middle brow kind of, he made, he made a joke, I guess, about how he's been going to the gym and he hasn't been in the gym in so long because he's a
Starting point is 01:03:37 fat guy. And the women at the gym dress like horrors. And they wear the shorts with the ruch. He described the shorts that have like the ruching on that go like in your ass cracked, to accentuate. Yeah, and it looks like your pussy and ass are eating the material. Yeah, which are disgusting. Yeah, and the main response I have upon seeing that sort of clothing is just like all that material, the textiles are carcinogenic. Girl, the microplastics, girl, it's not worth it. Like, why are you keeping that next to your delicate female regions? That's crazy. Yeah, I mean, that's the real. That's the correct take.
Starting point is 01:04:22 You know what really grinds my gears? What's lost in like all of these scandals and controversies and discourses is that like comedians can't, nobody appreciates self deprecation anymore. Yeah, he wasn't even making a joke at the- He's making a fat loser who's just now going to the gym. Yeah. And then the punchline of the joke is that he's like in the background of TikTok videos like leering at women and looking disgusting. It's not really even like at their expense but and I don't even really believe that people are mad. It feels very I feel like SNL is so like irrelevant that the outrage feels almost like a manufactured way to get people to even just talk about it. That's what all discourses feel like now.
Starting point is 01:05:08 Which is cynical but feels correct. And it has and women are women are at it again. wouldn't miss the opportunity to like post a video or photo of their ass in rooshed gym wear and be like you think I'm a whore and then yeah much yeah heated debates about what appropriate gym wear is I've seen some people make the case that if there weren't men at the gym, women would not dress that way, which I don't actually think is true. Because I go to all women Pilates classes. And they still dress like horrors, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:05 They look awesome. But yeah, I'm honestly more, I'd be more inclined to wear, like, flattering, athletic clothing to, like, an all-female class. us. Yeah, you don't want to see how I dress to go to the gym. I dress like Michael Tracy. Yeah, same.
Starting point is 01:06:26 I look like a sob because I... I said a tweet about misogynist staring at your gym clothes. It's just because I'm wearing that revolver gesture. That was the whole thing. And then, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:35 But that like people get... People are like, no one's looking at you. You're just too skinny to look at you, bitch. I know, but they like miss that you're making fun of yourself. I hate that. I feel like 95% of the... the responses to me, the hate I get.
Starting point is 01:06:50 They miss that I'm an extremely self-deprecating person, not in a weird, arrogant way, but because I find myself funny and pathetic. I think I'm a low-cow. I think everyone else is a low-cow, too. It's not personal. I don't suffer from, like, negative narcissism, but I don't suffer from positive narcissism either. It's just, like, everything, like, human life is comical and absurd.
Starting point is 01:07:12 Everyone's hysterical and pathetic. God is a cruel sadist and satirist, satirist. satirist, he makes fun of you when you're at your lowest. We're all lull cows to him. And he loves us. And he loves that for us. But I wasn't even being like so, I really, it was really just about the revolver T-shirt.
Starting point is 01:07:29 I think that men would look at my t-shirt at the gym because it's like a right-wing dog. Like not to over-explain your own joke, but like nobody at the gym knows what revolver is. Some of the guys, that's also an old picture from when I used to go to Equinox. Some guys do. But it drives me nuts that, yeah, like people just don't pick up on,
Starting point is 01:07:51 for how irony poisoned the culture is, nobody picks up on basic irony. I know. It's like everybody's like completely lost the plot. They're just whipped up in this frenzy. Yeah. And they're so mad. I think I am going to mosey on over to Los Angeles apparel. After we're done recording, get the Michael Tracy fit.
Starting point is 01:08:12 Because they're bound to have that color. It's like a good Halloween cost. Yeah, I know. I was thinking about that because I can't do Lindsay Clancy, really. That would be too much. I need to figure out what I'm going to do. There was, Sean Padraig McCarthy had a good tweet. You got to throw him a bone. A post of 11 million views says Shane bombed.
Starting point is 01:08:35 Shane. So funny. First name basis. When Peter tells me. The comedy experts are logging on. Everybody starts repeating that he bombed. then you go watch his monologue, he didn't bomb. This is how discourse works now.
Starting point is 01:08:49 That's also true. Like, people will just say that somebody bombed or got dunked on. And half the time, they're, like, totally rational and reasonable and making perfect total sense. Yeah. No one even watches the clip. Yeah. It doesn't matter. It's just about, like, the narrative.
Starting point is 01:09:06 I mean, I've seen this a lot even like clav. It's been like, clavs, it's like, flumbled. And then you watch it, you're like, nothing's even happening in this. I'm thinking why am I, my life is, my life is finite. Why am I? What's going on? Yeah. No, he didn't bomb.
Starting point is 01:09:23 He was like decently funny. It was fine. Yeah, it seems, it seems undramatic and unnoteworthy, if anything. And it's okay to, yeah, remark on women wearing, revealing clothing at the gym because they do. It's a whole convention of, like, TikTok is to wear the clothes and then make the videos of guys looking at you at the gym to like shame them. It's really actually vicious and way worse than anything Shane Gillis said.
Starting point is 01:09:49 Yeah, totally. But because women are like blameless. They're just comfortable that way. Yeah. My issue isn't even women wearing form fitting, revealing clothing to the gym, but it's them wearing it everywhere else when they're not even going to the gym. Yeah. You're at like the farmer's market or the grocery store with like your whole pussy on display.
Starting point is 01:10:11 and I actually don't think that it makes anyone except for like migrants and minorities horny. I don't think white men are responding to this. I mean, maybe like viscerally, primitively on some level, but actually the oversaturation of like pornographic elements in society just makes everything like barren and sexless.
Starting point is 01:10:36 It's unerotic, you know? And yeah, and there's, well, yeah, there's also something about it where it's like, obviously provocative that like of course someone's going to notice. Right.
Starting point is 01:10:50 It doesn't mean that they're like enticed or desiring to rape you. Like they're like glancing in your direction because your like body is anatomically exposed. Yeah. And like three times out of four you also have like some kind of like recording device or some guy trailing you shooting video which also is eye catching certainly there's that genre of I guess it's TikTok
Starting point is 01:11:19 Twitter post where it's like a video of a quote beautiful woman and other women reacting negatively and it's like intracosexual competition will never be stopped it's like making fun of women for being jealous of younger thin or more beautiful women but it's just literally women reacting to the fact that some other woman is aggressive
Starting point is 01:11:41 taking up space with like a fleet of cameras. It's like making a selfie ring. In public. Yeah, while they're like strolling around a museum or trying to like eat lunch at a cafe because it's disruptive and narcissistic. And the women in those videos never look good. I mean, I feel like you don't even really barely see them. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Typically because it's not really about them. Yeah, but they always have like bad hair extensions and lip filler. there is actually a great photo I saw of of Katie Zachariah coming out on the podium but like from kind of like what you're describing but you can see all the journalists faces all short to you it is it's really it is like a funny
Starting point is 01:12:26 like when a beautiful woman walks in they're like expressions they're like bemused and kind of like condescending they're like oh wow there's a new there's a new bimbo in town Yeah, I mean, I never, I have a gym in my building, so I don't even see that many people typically at the gym. But even when I would go to Equinox, I would never like wear like the matching set or I don't want. Sexier, provocative or suggestive.
Starting point is 01:12:58 I'm obviously a huge attention horror, but like not like in, I don't want people at the gym to like. Yeah. I'm not there to make friends. I'm there to make gains. Well, you know, it's one thing like having control over the attention you get because you're like selectively beaming it out on social media. But it is just like not very kind and somewhat of an imposition to seek attention in public, which is why very few people actually do. I mean, at equinox they do. I definitely, you know, because there's like, but the thought of even like socializing at the gym fills,
Starting point is 01:13:39 me with drag. Right. Yeah. Because I'm... Well, that's my position on gang bang. It requires too much socialization for it to be like enticing or appealing in any way. I'm low-key, yeah, like, I am like scared of men. Not like of them like raping me necessarily, but just giving me too much attention. Well, yeah, like I don't want to get in any, I don't want to have some fucking conversation with some guy, you know, I just don't, I would never. That's why I do the big t-shirt, baggy shorts. Are you using that? Your form is wrong.
Starting point is 01:14:13 I'm like, don't, don't look at me, don't talk to me. My gym is like all Chinese pensioners. You should start filming that. You should get your camel to out and start filming the Chinese pensioners. What was I going to say about it? Oh, but I think also like the equinox contingent, like the chicks who go to Equinox are like pretty like affluent middle class on the whole.
Starting point is 01:14:44 Well, Soho was good. That was my old gym. And that one's kind of is like a hotter demo, I think, than a lot of the other ones. Yeah, I've been up in that one for like a free trial. But also in general, I don't think that women are necessarily like explicitly and intentionally being coquettish teases at the gym. Some of them are. Sure. But there is.
Starting point is 01:15:07 But even among those women, is some kind of essential disconnect between the way that they present themselves and style themselves and the reaction that it gets. Because people have this expectation that men will not react carnally and lebedinally and polite civilized society. Right. They take it for granted. Yeah, they take it for granted that actually, like, even if people are peaked, they will generally like maybe like rubber neck a little but look away. Like, it's not like, being in like Haiti or Iraq. India.
Starting point is 01:15:43 India where they will like mob and rape you with room stick on a bus. Where you can't like wear a bikini to the beach. Yeah, where you have to like cover your hair. If you're blonde, forget about it. Yeah. But yeah, there is like, like people are just like divorced from the fact that your clothing and styling does signal something about you. Well, I saw this great like old Chappelle clip that was circulating where he was
Starting point is 01:16:11 talking about women dressing like horrors and taking note and then women getting offended and being like just because I'm dressed this way doesn't mean that I am that way. And then he talked about how he went around dressed like a police officer and people approached him to try and deter a crime. Yes. And you'd be like, just because I'm wearing this. Yeah. You're like impersonating an officer. The way you look obviously like signal something is like a basic like, like, fun. It's like, human being a human being like 101. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:46 Like, everything you wear is communicating. Like, the way you present yourself is, to be like so like willfully obtuse. Mm-hmm. Is just insane. Yeah, it's like, you know, when I see the, Michael Tracy counter protesters and they have like the snowflake hair and the faceful of piercings
Starting point is 01:17:08 and the tattoos and it all looks super diner, goth and molested, that is sending data my way that I interpret as a social signal. You're making a choice. You put that CAFI on, you're sending a signal.
Starting point is 01:17:24 Pretty accurate references about their interests, their beliefs, their personality. It's like, I've always hated, yeah, like that popular progressive slogan that you can't judge a book by its cover. Actually, you really can. Nine times at a ten. Even true for a book, where we actually
Starting point is 01:17:41 books as well. You can absolutely kind of tell what a book, the vibe of a book. It's kind of with the publishing industry. Yeah, like I can tell honestly by looking at this Lenin's Tomb by David Remnick book that it's pompous and self-serious. Because it has this red script on a navy blue background that's embossed in gold and has the big winner of the Pulitzer Prize medal. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:07 You can also read the words on it that also give you information. I can racially profile the author. It works like a charm every single time. Don't judge a book by its early life Wikipedia. Well, and the funny thing now is that like, yeah, in Dave Chappelle's day, if you were a woman who'd dress like a whore, chances are you were a whore. But now actually less and less clear.
Starting point is 01:18:41 Definitely for sure. I mean, like you were saying, the frigid whore. It's the new, it's the new way. Well, I noticed, you know, it's like, you know, like college girls dressed when they go clubbing or go to a frat party. They're all dressed like total horrors. Of course, yeah. But in light of believe that all of them are total horrors, probably not. It's maybe like 80, 20, but.
Starting point is 01:19:03 I mean, I saw some real, like, skanks at the, I went to see a movie at the Roxy last night. And I guess they were, I was in, I went to the bathroom. and they were like really like you know like pleather dresses and stuff I guess they were going to like Django that like the Roxy yeah it was like like jazz night they looked like they were going to like one oak like I was like I mean they weren't like that hot but they uh they were I was like what is this what's here's always clapped out to crepit horrors teaming around the Roxy I don't know why but why why it's a Roxy I don't know because I think they view it as an upscale establishment because they like always
Starting point is 01:19:41 I mean, it's a nice, you know, I like it there, but it wouldn't be. It's all right. I dress down myself, which I welcome. Which is good. Kelly Clarkson. What's going on with that? Well, she made a choice to, she put this, like, I guess it's like a mat. store of curiosities in Brooklyn.
Starting point is 01:20:14 It's a magic shop for lib tards. It's called art of play. And I'm assuming this. Sounds like a sex shop. Yeah, basically. Same clientele probably. And they sell like little like knickknacks and like board games, I guess and little like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:20:31 And she put them on blast. Let me find them. I'll just read the tweet. She said I drove all the way to. Brooklyn. Where do you live, Kelly Clarkson? I was surprised that she lives in New York. Right? I figured she'd be like the type of bitch who was like living in Nashville or Atlanta. Exactly. Yeah. Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out the story I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn't afford it and was told
Starting point is 01:21:02 he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude, you're an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y'all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts' character and pretty woman. For sure, check it out. Thumbs down emoji. Kind of off brand. Everyone was kind of like, what? What happened to Kelly Clark saying?
Starting point is 01:21:20 The, I guess, like, security camera footage surface. And she is dressed kind of. It's not a pretty woman situation. They didn't think she was a streetwalking prostitute. You wish. She was, like, dressed kind of like a slob. Like Michael Tracy. So they didn't clock her as being a celebrity.
Starting point is 01:21:39 and people were sort of thinking that maybe she was acting like an entitled Coastal Celeb and that she was in the wrong but then the store like fired back on Instagram and I guess all of this was about like a a mechanical bird I know it's so funny that it was over some fucking burlesque steampunk like bullshit like a thing where you turn the gears yeah yeah yeah um and that's what she why would you want that in your house what's going on why do you want that. I mean, I guess if you have like Kelly Clarkson money, you kind of just
Starting point is 01:22:15 you come up with an errand to run and you want that fucking bird. And they told her that the bird wasn't for sale. They claim the anyway, but it's basically come to light that like the store is kind of, I think, in the wrong. I was, yeah, originally I was prepared to take their side based on
Starting point is 01:22:35 the interview I read in the article that you sent me, but then it like goes downhill really quickly. Um, and she seems like an entitled bitch. And they seem like, uh, I bet Kariqson's pretty nice enough. Well, her original tweet, um, while it was like mostly unnecessary, did have a somewhat casual and humorous tone to it. She was pissed. It's a little uppity.
Starting point is 01:23:04 Yeah. But this narrative of like, she's so, she's powerful. fall and we're just a humble curiosity shop probably in the same income demographic as her basically um yeah because who's running a specialty magic shop and like park slop or whatever she's like yeah and she's like weaponized her audience against this humble showpe um but i'm i was always kind of like so like what just because you're like talented and famous you have to just people can just treat you like shit you know and you can't say anything because then you're the bad guy so I'm kind of I am Kelly Clark's your team your team
Starting point is 01:23:50 Kelly Clark's yeah um yeah I am too because there was a point where the guy was talking about how um they've been receiving a an extremely high volume of harassment abuse in person over the phone and via email, which has prevented them from connecting with actual interested customers. And then the reporter is like, well, it seems pretty quiet and calm here today. And the dude is like, I'm going to need you to leave. You have to get out. What you don't understand is that this represents a shrinkage of business. But it'll pass.
Starting point is 01:24:29 If anything, she did them a favor. I've never heard of art of play. Yeah, this is like, this sounds like one of those, a billionaire like wife loses 10,000 a month vanity businesses. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:42 I won't be going there. And then, yeah, and then they... You should go there because that's going to be the one place where they recognize you as like an enemy of the people. They say,
Starting point is 01:24:53 get out. This isn't for you. Don't even try to... Kelly Clarkson's friend, Dasha Necrosova, stopped by today. I mean, yeah, fuck that bird. I don't really care. There's nothing really going on.
Starting point is 01:25:12 Media firestorm. I figured, like, from the outside looking in, everybody in this story seems like in a feat entitled Lib Tard, but I suppose, like, she's, like, right-wing maga-coded because she's, like, a heartland country artist. and they're, you know she'll live. Yeah, of course. She's like a total.
Starting point is 01:25:36 But yeah, she's from humble roots. Yeah. And they're like sophisticated urban, rootless cosmopolins. But like it just reminded me of that Henry Kissinger. It's a pity both sides can't lose. I mean, she'll get that bird. She'll figure it out. Why would you even want that bird?
Starting point is 01:25:54 But they said, yeah, they told her it wasn't for sale. But then they had a price day. Then people were, then those photos surfaced of that there was a price. tag. I believe that they didn't clock her as being Kelly Clarkson and didn't treat her that well. Is that what she's probably just, that's what she's really upset about. Well, she wasn't, she was, she's wearing like a baseball cap and like, like she's dressed like Michael Tracy. She's like, has like a backpack on. She wasn't like, I don't think she was like expecting to be treated better than a person, a normal person would. And I think they probably were. I mean, customer service is
Starting point is 01:26:27 just, we all know. Yeah, not great. But she wasn't at the Adidas store. I'm going to say, I was trying to buy a new pair of samba And all the teenagers who work here ignored me Some black teen parolee Like Ken won't even look at me It's happened He's like, yo what? You said size 7? It brings you a size 9
Starting point is 01:26:51 Well I guess this is better than that other American idol Guy Caleb Flynn who like murdered his Or hired him to murder Or maybe he murdered his wife that's another one of these true crime cases that's trending now. Some American Idol guy who's like my age. So I guess he was on the show maybe 20 years ago and he like killed his wife. Wow.
Starting point is 01:27:15 Recently? Yeah, to be with his mistress. That's crazy. And she's testifying against him even though she clearly indirectly goaded him. Yeah, put him up to it. And then the harrowing detail was that his daughters who were like 10 and 12 had like a, moderator intermediary read their statements to him in the courtroom and he like broke down crying. I was like, this is, dad, this is not the person I knew growing up. Mom was a flawless and perfect
Starting point is 01:27:43 individual. It was really sad. He's not, he's not acting like an American idol. So I'll tell you that much. It's also crazy when people do things like kill their spouse to be with their mistress or mister or whatever because it's like don't you realize you're going to get caught and you're going to spend the rest of your life in prison it's like his weird games they might get away with it we just don't know how many people how many people's spouses die tragically and no one this is any questions you know i guess that's what the woody allen movie is about crimes and misdemeanors the d'all stay off skin one um maybe he was playing 40 chess and he really wanted to get away from both of these women by spending the rest of his life in prison
Starting point is 01:28:26 I'm going to kill my wife and make my fucking bitch mistress think that I want to be with her. I mean, even relationships that are like, I feel like that start in more mundane, like infidelity don't have very high success rates. Yeah. Even like shingling a partner isn't really advisable. Wait, what's shingling? Like a roof shingle like when you're like before you're out of a relationship starting a new one. Oh, yeah. You know, kind of stacking.
Starting point is 01:28:58 Yeah, but we all be doing that. Everyone does it eventually, I guess. It works out, but it's, you know. I barely even count that as cheating. Like, cheating is when you're doing it in the middle of the relationship. Like having an affair. Yeah. Cheat to leave.
Starting point is 01:29:11 Yeah. I didn't know that I had a term. Shingling. That's good to know. Anyway, I'm done like an hour and a half. Oh, that's not bad. Have we? have we covered everything?
Starting point is 01:29:28 I think that there hasn't been much. No. Here are my impressions of Washington, D.C. Okay, let's get the PowerPoint out. Did you even, did you have a good time? Yeah, it was fine, nice, like nothing to report. Yeah. There were a lot of people like randomly, like everywhere you went, like Normies were talking about Digger, which we were thinking about seeing.
Starting point is 01:29:51 I did see it. I did see it, but then I was, we were going to do. do a digger episode for obvious reasons. Because there was a good, there was a lot of potential. Just for the title. But it's like the biggest box office flop of all time. I thought it was pretty good. Actually, we won't get into it.
Starting point is 01:30:14 But it is, after seeing it, I was like, it actually kind of doesn't make sense to do an episode about a movie that people are like famously not watching. Like when I made us watch, network or the Pee-We Herman documentary. And everyone was like, why are they watching them? Like a movie that no one is, yeah, that no one's seeing and that you actually, I think I do recommend seeing it.
Starting point is 01:30:38 But it's also, there's something particular to the movie where like you kind of can't talk about it without ruining it for people. I see. So I was like, we just. Well, that's intriguing. So I saved you a trip to AMC. Yeah, but internally grateful to you for that. But check it out in IMAX if it's a mood.
Starting point is 01:30:54 strikes you. Going to see Digger instead of picking my child at school. So, yeah, one ticket for Digger, please. Thank you. All right. Well, my woman is the Digger of the world. Digger, please. Yeah, I always like, I was like, oh, it's going to be great.
Starting point is 01:31:16 We'll get to say Digger a bunch and no one can get mad at us. But me, I'm a Digger lover myself. I hate digger debate um anyway we'll see you now
