01:07 Yeah, that favorite word debt That can really cripple you When you need to be out of it the most I hope you've heard part one And I hope you heard part two This is a part five series on debt And God led me to speak on several things So I'm going to look through a few of my nose here
01:32 Right here And we're going to talk a little bit today about when you are out of debt, how people try to get you right back into debt. You know, for a very, I'm going to say a long time, it wasn't a long time, but it seemed like forever that I had myself in this trouble with debt, just wanting things and buying things and, you know, just, I'm not going to say keeping up with anybody, but just always wanting. something so I go and buy it just because I had it or if I didn't have it I could buy it anyway and so I want to tell you guys if you have paid yourself out of debt please don't go back and get in it because there are going to be a lot of people out there right now reaching and grabbing for you like come and get this you can come people do that with me all the time offering me money, offering me things to get.
02:41 After I've paid the debt off, can you imagine that? Yeah. They're offering me all of this stuff. Come on, you can get this, get this, get this. I mean, just the other day, I had a company that I completely paid off. It took a minute for me to pay them off, but it paid them off, you know, last year or whatever. It's been a while. but they were just reaching out for me to come back and get another loan,
03:09 come back and get this. See, when you are out of debt, there's a freedom there because if you want something, you can always save up a little money and pay for it, cash. And if you can't get it, just put it on layaway. But whatever you do, don't go get in debt because these times that we are living in are horrible, horrible times. this is not a time to be caught up in debt because if you are caught up in debt, you don't know if you're going to have a major sickness or we just don't know what's going to happen.
03:46 And that's the scary part because, you know, your husband can get sick, your wife can get sick, your breadwinner of your family can get sick. Anything can happen. And I'm not saying this to throw bad luck on anybody. Don't believe in bad luck. but I'm not saying this to make you feel bad, but anything can happen, anything. So if you're out of debt, it's a lot easier to handle things a lot better. Trust me. But if you're caught up in a lot of debt, I'm telling you right now, that's going to cripple you.
04:28 And, you know, maybe, I always say maybe 10 years ago, 15 years ago, 20 years ago, 20 years ago. when my dad was still alive, when my mom and everybody was still alive, still living at home, I kind of had a lot more freedom to do a lot of things that I did, my sister, the two of us, we did everything together. So we had the freedom to do a lot of things. But these days right now, different, guys. We are living in different times right now. So to be bound and crippled in a lot of debt,
05:04 that could only bring you down. And it can drive you nuts when that phone is ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, off the hook. Be a day late and watch on the phone ringing. You don't have to be a day late. They can just remind you the day before that. Hey, you owe me, come in and pay me tomorrow. But if you are late, they can be talking about coming and picking your stuff up
05:28 and just all kind of crazy stuff. So these days that we're living in right now is definitely not a time to find yourself caught up in debt. Anytime you are out of debt, it just looks better. Because to me, one guy said, oh, there's nothing wrong with being in debt. What's wrong with being in debt? People talking about they paid off debt.
05:50 They're just bragging. He might have been talking about me. I don't know, but I don't even know who he is, really. So to each his own, that works for him to be in debt, a bunch of debt. It don't work for me. What works for me is living the frugal life. I like living frugal life because, you know, things I don't need, I just don't get.
06:12 And I used to be foolish with money. I told you guys about that. I gave away, about three years ago, I gave away so many clothes that I just didn't want anymore. But back in the day, I bought them like crazy, just buying, buy and buying stuff just because I could. I'm sometimes going in debt to get things just because I wanted to. Yeah, I was a vain person at one point. Really, I was. I'm not that girl anymore.
06:44 Like 15 years ago? Oh, my God. Had to have the latest jacket, the latest pair of shoes, the latest bag. Yeah, it was truly vain. I'm telling you. I was. I don't like that person I used to be. That person is gone.
07:01 and I thank God for delivering me from that bundage of debt. Watch it when people, when you're out of debt and then people try to drag you back in. Be careful with that because they will try. They're going to call you. Why? Because you got a clean slate. It's like a plate that's clean and then somebody wants to put some food on that plate. Be careful, guys.
07:29 Don't let it happen. if you have been blessed enough to pay yourself out of debt, by all means, stay out. And I really don't care what nobody says. Because you know what's best for you. Nobody can tell you anything. It just boggles my heart and boggles my brain that we just don't know what to happen, you know. I mean, it's not unusual that people are getting sick lately, you know. are happening. And I see so many people who are sick and God, my heart goes out to them.
08:10 But I be hoping and praying, God, I hope there wasn't in a whole lot of debt before they came down sick. Again, I'm not saying it won't be hard if you come down sick, but at least you won't have to worry about a whirl of debt that you're in. And just watch it. I don't know if you, if you right now have paid off all of your debts, are you just about? but paid them off, I paid them down really low. Watch and see, don't that company try to drag you back in by offering you even more than you had before? They'll try to do that. Are they going to try to get you back in there somehow because they know you are a person
08:54 who paid your bills? You pay your debt. Don't let that happen, guys. Don't let that happen. Because the moment you do that, you start doing that, you're going to go back. get into all the debt that you were in before, one company after the next, after the next, after the next. If you just sit down consciously and think with your husband, wife, or family, if you just sit down consciously and think to yourself what kind of crazy things you were going through when you were in that
09:24 debt, all of that debt, think about that. How miserable you was. You were miserable. If you can just think about that, every time they try to, to drag you back in to come get more money, get whatever you had, get it back, get it back. Every time they try to do that, think about how miserable you were when they kept calling you saying, you owe me, you owe me, you owe me, I'm going to take this, I'm going to do that, I'm going to take you to court. Think about that guys. Don't let them drag you back in there.
09:58 Because once they drag you back in, you might not be so clever to get out this time. You made it out this time. You paid your bills down or you paid them off. Keep it like that. Please don't get back in that debt because if you do, and I've seen it happen, you may not be able to get out, guys. You may not be able to get out of debt this time if you get back in it. I just seen an email.
10:27 It was so beautiful. I wouldn't read it, but I'm not going to read it right now. Oh my God. That's so pretty. But listen, don't get yourself back in that bunch of debt, guys. I'm speaking from something that I know. I'm not speaking from something that somebody told me or I heard. I'm speaking from experience.
10:50 You're looking at a person who was head over, head over, head over heels in dead. I'm talking about swimming in dead. But the Lord blessed me. guys, he blessed me to get out of it. Bill by Bill, he blessed me. It was so incredibly hard. But the Lord blessed me. He pulled me right up out of the deepest ocean. Because that's what it felt like I was in the ocean, guys. Can you imagine yourself right now in the middle of the ocean? Can you even imagine it? That's what I felt like when I was in dead. Like I was in the ocean, right in the middle, right in the bottom of it, like the Titanic.
11:36 I really did. But the Lord, he saw fit to get me out of that mess, and he got me out. And I would be a fool to get myself tied up in that crap again. I would. So when people come calling me or sending me letters so you can get this new car, you don't have to have low interest,
11:58 you can get this, this, this. You should see how many people try to, contact me about getting him all this debt. You can get this. You can have this. You can have anything you want. Then I think about how when Jesus was in the wilderness and the devil came to him trying to offer him the world.
12:19 I mean, I don't know if I can compare that to being in debt, but I'm comparing it. Don't let that happen, guys. Don't let them come at you with all of these things. offering you all of this stuff. come and get it you're out of debt come and get it you know you want this right here come and get it but everybody's writing me right now but i hope you guys are listening this is so important I thank God for my notes here I thank God for being so good to me I thank God for his glory
12:59 I thank God for watching over me. I thank God for giving me ability to do things to make money, to work for myself on the side as well. And I thank God for everything, because it was God who did everything in my life. He has brought me out of the middle of the sea of dead. And I don't plan to get back in it. I don't care what nobody said.
13:25 You know, you got people that say all these things because they just want to say it, I guess. I don't know. But I thank the Lord. I truly thank the Lord. So if you're out of debt, stay out of debt. Thanks for listening, guys. You listen to one, two, and then you just heard three.
13:44 If you're out of debt, stay out of debt. Now, the next topic I'm going to be speaking on getting in debt for other people. That's going to be a good one because they see a lot of people get themselves in debt for organization. A fool would only do that. Get yourself in debt for an organization. You got A1 credit. And then you go there and get yourself in a bunch of debt for some organization or the other.
14:13 Or some organizations, I should say. Yeah, that's my next topic. I don't want to get too much in it today. Contact me. Thank you so much for listening again. Thank you. for being the best part in my podcast. Thank you for voting me.
14:33 One of the top voice over personalities in the world. Yay. One of the top. Yay. I thank God for that so much. I wasn't trying to get that, but God gave it to me anyway. So just remember, sometimes when you're not trying to do something and you lift up the Lord,
14:52 yeah, he's going to get it. Because he gets the credit for it. So thanks again. I bless you. Have a wonderful day. Be safe out there in this very dangerous world. And I'll see you soon.
