Starting point is 00:00:00 Guys, we're doing it! Welcome to another piece of supplemental content. This is the first ever live draft. And boys, we're drafting for a goof world concert. Andrew, this was your idea. Do you want to explain? Is having its first music festival. We are picking the four acts that will be part of our specific festival.
Starting point is 00:00:22 And then the audience can decide on who has the best goof world fest. The pool is alive and dead. Oh. Yeah, I like this. So are we calling a goof world concert? Do you want me to call it Goof World Fest? I like Goof World Fest. Goof World Fest works for me.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Goof Fest. Goof Fest. In our first live draft. We've never done this live before. We've never done this. Because of Jeff's overt racism, but we are going to do our first ever live draft. Like always, we're using regulation drafts that Sean Bear put together. Great site.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Credible. Here's a question mark. So it's like, oh, it's starting soon. Starting now! And it's ready to go. Guys, you know it's a snake draft, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 4, 3, 2. But in order to figure out who is going first,
Starting point is 00:01:05 we need to randomize. How many times do we? Yeah, I was gonna say two. I was gonna say two. I think it's two. All right, starts in an egg order. But one randomization is Gavin. Andrew, Nick, Jeff, Eric.
Starting point is 00:01:21 Are you ready for the second randomization and the draft? I'm ready. Ready. It's Eric. Yes. Nick, Jeff, Andrew,
Starting point is 00:01:30 Gavin and gag How important was it for you to go first Andrew I feel I'm not worried about my picks very little I'd say very little
Starting point is 00:01:40 I don't think anyone's going to take any of my picks Gavin did you spend a lot of time on this to really like drill down and figure out what you want
Starting point is 00:01:50 in your goof world test I spent the normal amount of time thinking about it a regulation amount of time and how much time is that 25 minutes oh wow that's awesome and um
Starting point is 00:02:03 Jeff how are you feeling about your picks before we get into it uh run down 18 minutes ago is that right yeah that's awesome well while we're playing golf yeah well he was eating pizza
Starting point is 00:02:14 yeah yeah he was eating pizza yeah yeah so first ever first ever live draft and I'm going first and my pick I think it's I think it's gonna it's gonna rock
Starting point is 00:02:27 it's gonna start and you just go Oh shit, we're going to un-low. Oh, shit. Because I'm looking for my number one pick at their height. It's Motley Crew. Motley Crew is my opener. So they're playing in this order, right? Yes, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Oh, yeah. So they're your opener. They're my opener. Motley Crew comes out. Vince Neal. Hey, how's it going to be? Vince Neal's going crazy. He just got arrested, charged with a vehicular manslaughter.
Starting point is 00:02:59 And he's at Goof World now performing for every week. Brum out of the time machine, Vince Neal on stage right after finding out that vehicular manslaughter is the charge against him. Tough. Very tough. But I think they're going to play Kickstart My Heart. Tommy Lee is going to be in the drum circus thing where he just goes in circles and circles and circles. And that's going to be my first pick. I don't think anyone's going to pick better than Motley crew for a goof world thing, a goofy band.
Starting point is 00:03:27 You're kickstart and your goof. That's what I'm saying. Wow, yeah. And everyone goes crazy. It's awesome. It's incredible. But Nick, what's your first pick? Goof World is an extension of the show.
Starting point is 00:03:39 It is regulation. It is home to the regulation podcast stuff. Therefore, I have to go with the regulation artist. It's Culeo! You sucked! You son of a bit. You son of a bit. You mother fucker.
Starting point is 00:03:53 I wanted to be first. I can't believe. Busted. Fuck. Yeah. Unbelievable. Enjoy your purple jacket now, asshole! Now I'm sulking and sweating in it.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Coolio, a great pick. Very regulation. As soon as Andrew said, alive or dead, I switched my first pick to Coolio. Really? He was your one. Yeah. And what song is he coming out and playing first, Nick? Gangsters Paradise. Nick, name one of the Culeo song. Keenan and Kel's theme. Oh, here it goes!
Starting point is 00:04:28 There it goes. Open with the key in the college. All right. Well, Motley crew is my first pick and Culeo's off the board. So, Jeff,
Starting point is 00:04:40 you can't pick either one of those. I know that fucks up your board bad. So who do you have for your opening act? Well, I guess I'm going to have to reorient things a little bit. I was really looking forward
Starting point is 00:04:51 to starting things off right with Culeo. He too. Unfortunately, he was unavailable. So we had to get a last. minute fill in. I'm gonna fill in with another just fun, silly, good time rock band.
Starting point is 00:05:04 A lot of hits, you're gonna love it. They always put on a great show. They don't take themselves too seriously. I'm gonna start with cheap trick. Oh, I like that. What version of cheap trick? Is it like current cheap trick? Are we going like, no, we're going like 70s like classic. Yeah, like 79. Like with like with bunny Carlos on drums smoking a cigarette and his button up shirt and a little tie. That's my guy. Like he's going to, like he's clocking in. I like that. Clock it in for Goof Fest. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:05:31 You told me the Duracill Bunny's name was Bunny Carlos. I would believe you. It's my name. I think it's Miles, actually. No, that's only in England. I think Miles is the rabbit in England. Don't worry about it. This is a cheap trick, I think, is a really good one to get started here for Goof Fest.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Yeah. I don't think that's going to take anything off the board for Andrew, but I am excited to find out Andrew. Oh, no, my first. Pay, oh no. Cheap Trick. Oh no. Great band, though. Love cheap trick.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Nick loved that. What a smart ass. Goof Festival. Goofest. You're in the crowd. You know what's going on. There's smoke. There's smoke everywhere.
Starting point is 00:06:15 What? Who's that? Who's that walking? That can't be. Phil Collins with Genesis. Yeah. Why would you pick up?
Starting point is 00:06:24 Collins. That's clearly my... Genesis walking out with Phil. Somehow the doctors determine he can do one more show and it's part of GoofSFest. I've been taken out. Shit! I want Genesis. I don't want Phil Collins.
Starting point is 00:06:37 I want Genesis. You want Genesis? I want, well, it's the whole Phil Collins catalog with Genesis. It's the final show. But is he singing or is Pia Gage? Yeah, he's fully bagged. The doctor said, hey, you got one more idiot. And he's like, you know what? Goof Fest.
Starting point is 00:06:53 So, Gabby could pick Peter Gabriel, Genesis? Sure, I guess. I don't know. I just, listen, everything's in the rotation in the air tonight. Torzan music. It's all possible. But that's all Phil Collins. None of that is Genesis. But it's part of Phil Collins is in Genesis. It's the final celebration of everything. But Genesis isn't going to play the end tonight. They can absolutely play it. He created it. There's no. There's no. So you're telling me there's no time in the history of music in which a guy that is part of a band and also does, solo stuff, playing some of his solo stuff with the
Starting point is 00:07:28 band that's super popular. Never been done. If you said Peter Gabriel was still there, he's not going to just stand next to the drums while Phil Collins smash it. While they play, I can't dance. It's a special one-time show game with the doctor said he can do one more. Right, but I don't, I still understand.
Starting point is 00:07:47 You have Genesis, but he's only name Phil Collins songs. You get the whole Phil Collins experience with the Genesis guys. Genesis is all the good songs anyway. kills his pick. I just, I don't know. He has to,
Starting point is 00:08:02 I think he would have to pick Phil Collins for Phil Collins. No, I don't. Yeah, but with Genesis, you get against Al-Age, you get that song. He doesn't know those songs.
Starting point is 00:08:10 He doesn't know those songs. I did. I love, I'm a Phil guy. I'm a Phil Genesis guy. A lot of confusion with the, where the video is all the, I hate that video so much. Spitting image,
Starting point is 00:08:22 Puppus disgusting. This is no while we live and a whole. So if they have Genesis, are they able to play sledgehammer, which is a Peter Gabriel song? They do whatever they feel like. It's their final tale. Genesis with Phil Collins. This is.
Starting point is 00:08:46 This is crazy. You boy with Genesis. So the people of Goofof Festival watching Phil Collins drum on sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel. Yeah. Love it. If they feel like, listen. It's not up to me for Phil and Genesis as a whole. They come up their track list.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Just so you know, we are doing a live draft, and the mods have started a poll. I'm not saying that they get a vote in this. I'm simply letting you know there's a poll in the chat that just says, is Phil Collins' Genesis? It is overwhelmingly no. A bunch of Genesis haters in there. So, Gav, what are you picking?
Starting point is 00:09:20 Should we post on our socials that we're doing a live draft? Sure. Yeah. My pick, my first pick. Doing a lot right now. Obviously, yeah, that speaks that into the universe
Starting point is 00:09:30 like Jackie's too. I declare this idea. Now this is a classic Gavin thing where it's just like, hey, I've fucked you? We're going to keep barreling on. All right,
Starting point is 00:09:42 well, half of my list is gone. We're going to have to work on the second half, the back nine. The smoke's out on the stage, as Andrew said, there's a light,
Starting point is 00:09:50 there's a light come on. You're using my smoke? Yeah, your smoke's leaked over onto my stage because you stole all my acts. Oh, what's rising?
Starting point is 00:09:57 up out of the stage. John Risinger? You think it's a person? No, it's a giant egg. Who is hatching from the egg? It is none other than Randy Newman. He's hatching from an egg? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Yeah, it comes out of an egg. Why does he do that? World Fest. He's hatching out of an egg? Yeah. Humpty Randy. Eric stood up to It's your fucking face, so more people click on it.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Live draft. Hey, how do you feel about that pick, Jeff? Dumpty Newman? I feel great about it. I can't wait to see what his second pick is. Well, he does have to. Andrew, very quiet during that. Just want to point out.
Starting point is 00:10:53 I had no criticism. Great pick. Whoa. Great pick. Some of you guys seem like you just want to whine about things to whine about. I don't know. I'm specific. Just so you know, the poll has closed with almost 600 people saying that Phil Collins is not Genesis is 82%. He's part of it. He was in it.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Okay. Well, Randy Newman is off the board. Our socials have been updated. I guess we'll see if people show up for that. Hey, Gavin, you get two picks in a row. What do you got? Well, they've cleared up all the egg goo. What? Coming up next is a group of people. But the guy in the middle, the silo in the middle just shoves off the other two. He's coming out solo.
Starting point is 00:11:41 He's away from his Doobie brothers. Fuck! You fuck! It's Michael McDonald! Nice. Damn it! What? Nice.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Shit! So, okay. But what if Nick wanted to pick the Doobie brothers? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I mean, obviously Michael McDonough. is taken, so you can have the others from the band. You can have the Ubi brothers.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Michael McDonald takes the D? Yeah. No, I think he's dewy. So, okay, could I potentially pick Phil Collins? Well, Andrews specified that Phil would be in the Genesis performance, right? I don't think he can.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Oh, he's in, yeah, Phil's in the Genesis performance. As well as Peter Gabriel. I don't know, you know, I just know. Yeah, just say yes. Yes. Okay. Okay. Well, Michael McDonald off the board.
Starting point is 00:12:42 I love that. I keep forgetting to make him be on my board. But Andrew can't forget his next pick. No, you can't because you're just, you experience Genesis with Phil, filling the way, doing his thing. Don, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. Drums playing.
Starting point is 00:12:59 smoke everywhere there's something in the air tonight people are going crazy drum sound hits flash the people in the audience get flashbang what's going on they can't see Genesis and Phil are gone
Starting point is 00:13:17 out of nowhere Outcast runs out on stage What did he say? Outcast Yeah he said outcast Outcast Sprinting on
Starting point is 00:13:29 Going crazy. Andre 3,000 has a flute, and that's okay, because he likes it, and that's fine. He's allowed to. But they're performing. That's actually not a bad look. I think it's a good pick. Let me ask, if I wanted to draft Andre 3000, would you let me? No.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Yeah, it's flute work. Yeah, if you want, just some flute stuff? So he comes out to play at your festival, specifically he has a flute, and you would allow me to pick Andre 3000. The man loves the flute, and if you wanted to give him an opportunity to do some flute work for what you're doing, that's fine. What if, can Phil Collins do flute work? I don't know if he can.
Starting point is 00:14:05 He's talented, but he could. Doesn't Bill Collins own a bunch of, like, the Alamos? Yes, he loans it to them for display. Do you know about that, Andrew? He's a big similar work collector. He, like, he has, like the voice over there, doesn't he? He's like, hi, I'm Phil Collins, this is the Alamo. That's incredible.
Starting point is 00:14:22 The whole thing about it. I had no idea. Yeah, I just found out from... I just knew about him in Genesis. Yeah, okay. Oh, my God. Couldn't name any of their songs, but... That's again, that's not Genesis.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Jeff. Yeah, that's me. Jeff, you have your next pick. Cheap Trick. I'm excited about this next pick. Cheap Trick has warmed the crowd up. It's set the tone. It's just about to be dusk.
Starting point is 00:14:49 It's like magic hour. It's time to bring out the greatest rock and roll duo in the history of music. In 2026, they can't fucking stand each other. They won't be in the same room together. They'll never play live again. but in 1987 on the big band boom tour they don't hate each other yet we're watching haul and oats at their prime yeah that's great it's great darrell hall john oates yeah happy jeff yeah and that and that's great too two guys the name of the band holl and oats a name they
Starting point is 00:15:19 refused to call themselves on the albums and everything never said hall and oats it always said their full names every single time what are their full names and the world said no Darrell Hall and John Oates. John Oates. On the cover of every album. It's going to stick one of these days. It's so crazy. They fucking hate each other.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Every time they get interviewed now, hey, you guys ever thinking about reuniting? And they both go, fuck no. Incredible. That's awesome. Checking that. You know, great. Privateized video, great.
Starting point is 00:15:55 It's a low fucking production value video that privateized video. They're wearing a glass. Just wear a glass and just hang out next to a pool table in a little trench coats and they're in business. Got some flats behind them and some smoke. Well, cheap trick and haul and oats are off the board. So Nick, you have your next pick. Hall and oats have been hauled away by the police after getting to a fist fight on the stage.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Smoke rises. Suddenly. Well, listen. And all of a sudden, I hear the drums echoing tonight. It's Toto! A dog? Which I've written as toot in this note. For some reason.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Toto, huh? Hell yeah. Playing. Africa. Uh-huh. Hold the line. Uh-huh. The place?
Starting point is 00:16:42 And the other one. And the other one. If I came here and Culeo played first, I'd be like, wow, dude, Culio, that's pretty crazy. And the Toto comes on, I'd be like, oh, okay. I mean, I guess I'll see what other stage has something going on. What do you mean? No, I'd be on my feet if I was watching Africa. Fucking.
Starting point is 00:17:01 right. Right, but they're not opening with Africa. But closing. They just play it for now. They open with it, then they close with it. You're making them play it twice? Yeah. Encore, encore. One more time.
Starting point is 00:17:13 At the beginning, they start playing Africa. Everyone's on their feet and they start chanting encore, encore, on core, from the very one more time. They don't even let it get to the chorus. They want to hear it again. This is a good show. The idea of Channing Encore. Oh, that's so cool.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Oh, man. Well, my next act is here. Motley crew, Vince Neal, the weight of vehicular manslaughter weighing heavy on him. He finishes his set, and he sets down the microphone gently. And the rest of the band's like shooting heroin into like their dicks and like they're going crazy.
Starting point is 00:18:00 but Vince Neal's like, what have I done? Like, oh no, like the weight of all of it is really catching up to him and he walks off stage quietly and the crowd sort of mystified
Starting point is 00:18:11 by, oh my God, what's happening? We just got rocked so fucking hard. This is crazy. And then all of a sudden the dulcet tones of California surf rock begin and the beach boys taking the stage.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Brian Wilson, Dennis Wilson. Who's that? Charles Manson? My God, he's out here dancing with the Beach Boys. They brought their friend Chuck to come dance and be like a ska show. Charles Manson is on the stage. He's the guy.
Starting point is 00:18:44 What's upon a time in Goof World? In Goof World, Charles Manson's dancing. And he's going into the crowd and he's recruiting people watching this concert. The music of the Beach Boys, they're playing. Barbara Ann, and it's just sending people into such a tizzy that they're beginning to follow Charles Manson around. And they, like, the more songs they play, God only knows plays and they're like in a trance. Charles Manson is taking the people away from the concert. And Dennis Wilson just sort of standing there going like, what have I done?
Starting point is 00:19:18 I've led this maniac into the popular culture. And I can't believe it. So the rest of the band is having fun and playing songs. But Dennis Wilson just sort of sets down his drumsticks. and he's like, my God, like the weight of this is like so heavy on him. And he can't believe this. And then the lights go out. And then all of a sudden one cannon gets wheeled onto the stage is the beach boys are gone.
Starting point is 00:19:43 One cannon. A single cannon comes out. One guy, one stage hand sort of quietly walks over to it. He pulls it. Bang! For those about to rock, we salute you as ACDC picks it back up. ACDC is out rocking in the free world
Starting point is 00:20:02 everyone is now leaving they are leaving Charles Manson to come back and watch these awesome rockers from Australia and then Phil Rudd the drummer looks into the crowd
Starting point is 00:20:18 and like a Terminator he zeroes in and begins to see his target my God it's a plot for murder for hire Phil Rudd is here at the Goof World concert to eliminate his target. It's all been a guise for murder for hire from the drummer of ACDC,
Starting point is 00:20:35 but can he be successful in doing it? My God, we'll have to wait and find out until my final act. You got the band from Iron Man 2? For those about to rock, is Phil Rudd gonna shoot a thrill? Too many Phil's. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Murder for hire, my God, Nick, what is your next act? lightning strikes the stage. ACD disappears completely. Suddenly, a bat is flung into the crowd. Ozzy steps up and Black Sabbath starts playing Warpans.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Oh shit. I thought he was dead. He's back, baby. You can't kill what's undead. He was faking it all along. He was faking it? It was all part of a plan. You seem, and it's so strange
Starting point is 00:21:28 because you were on board for Coolio and didn't have any... No, no, no issue. I'm just, it's funny to me the idea that Ozzy Osbourne isn't actually dead. He faked his own death just to come back for a goof world show. I get all the Ozzy songs too, right?
Starting point is 00:21:42 That, hey, you know what? Yeah, I was gonna say that's up to Andrew and it sounds like that's just fine. Yeah. He feels like it? He's going through changes. This is... Mama, I'm coming home.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Kelly Osborne comes out and they sing Papa don't free Oh God Jeff! Oh man Jeff! How are you going to
Starting point is 00:22:10 top ACVC and Black Sabbath back to back like that? Well, in my concert, you know, started with cheap trick and then it went into hollow notes. Now the sun has just set and it's time to take the energy
Starting point is 00:22:19 down a little bit. We know we're going to end strong. We're going to want to save all of our energy and momentum to finish with the height of, of, uh, excitement and expectation.
Starting point is 00:22:30 And so we need to mellow out a little bit. And there's nobody on earth, alive or dead, that helps a crowd mellow out more than Jimmy Buffett. We're going to have a little refrain. We're going to relax a little bit. We're going to have a little cheeseburger in paradise. I'm going to sing about pencil-thin mustaches and come on Monday. And we're going to have a lovely...
Starting point is 00:22:52 He's doing what on Monday? Come Monday. Every Monday. Fins to the left of us, fins to the right. But we're enjoying the music. Changes in latitude is changes in attitude. Very interesting. If I was at a concert,
Starting point is 00:23:04 Hall of Oates finished and Jimmy Buffett came on, I don't know what I would do. You'd love it. You'd be like, oh, I appreciate catching my breath now, and I know I know something. Catching my breath. I know what's coming behind me.
Starting point is 00:23:14 He's going to blow my dick off. I was too fire up. They played Sarah's smile, and I went fucking insane. He's Jimmy Buffett. They played out of touch, out of time. I mean, you're like, I'm out of time.
Starting point is 00:23:27 Hey, you're getting up. Goof World, a lot of parrot heads, maybe. There are for sure. Remains to be seen. Goof World is spiritually tied to Key West. I get it. I get it. Andrew, Outcast is getting done.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Outcast finishes. Andre threatens the flute but does not play. But it's out there. Decidedly, no smoke. They just walk off the stage. Oh, wow. Zero effect. No pyro.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Big part of the goof world experience, though, is that Jeff, you inhabit it, Eric, you inhabit it, and annoying each other is a key part of living together, surviving in this goof world. Lasers start blasting everybody in the show because they strike me as a laser group.
Starting point is 00:24:14 A wall suddenly emerges. It's a wonder wall. What is that? Okay. Is that? Okay. So when he said, lasers and a wall,
Starting point is 00:24:27 I thought you think, Pink Floyd? Big Floyd. A hundred percent. I'm like getting right here. My fingers over pee. And he just goes... Alice in Wonderland.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Oasis. How old were you when you went to your first Pink Floyd laser light show? I was 18. A lot of lasers going everywhere. A wall comes up. The laser is just stopping us away. Are they the Kaching band? Bump, bada, ba, ba...
Starting point is 00:24:50 Yeah. Oasis? No. Floyd. Yes. Awaxis is playing currently on the show. There are a wall. Yes.
Starting point is 00:24:58 of wonder in all in all, all, we're just another brick in the wonder wall. Absolutely. Now, Andrew,
Starting point is 00:25:11 when you say, I feel like this band has lasers. Is that like, don't look back in anger, and it like starts a big blast and lasers at people? It's just,
Starting point is 00:25:25 you know, like green and blue and purple and gurple. and all the lasers just blast in everywhere, like kind of a laser tag type of that. Don't put your life in the hands of a rock and roll band. Zaps,
Starting point is 00:25:35 zap, zap, zap, zap, zap, zap. Also, wild to bring the lasers out as soon as the smoke's gone. You get the smoke out of there, and then you start laser. We have to barely see these lasers. We can just see the tip. We can just see what the lasers hit, but not the lines.
Starting point is 00:25:49 I am. It's mainly the stage shakes, and they rise from the wall. They're on top of the wall as it raises. Oh. Like Humpty Dumpty Dumpt. Dude, Oasis is like, you set it up for Pink Floyd. That was fucking crazy.
Starting point is 00:26:05 I don't know anything about Pink Floyd. You know anything about Genesis. So Collins, baby. Well, Gavin, any lasers or anything for your next two, fix? Absolutely not. Lasers are off. Ladies and gentlemen. Chumba!
Starting point is 00:26:32 My list, you prick! Yeah! They just play that one. They play that one song and they leave. We'll be singing... Encore! The encore goes three or four times. They keep playing the same song.
Starting point is 00:26:47 They leave the stage. And make way for my final pick. It seems to be a silhouette. It seems to be about four people, I think. Four people coming out. My God. One of them looks shockingly like Bono. The crowd gets worried.
Starting point is 00:27:05 They think you two might be coming out. They get worried? But no worries. Someone comes running from the side of the stage with a sledgehammer. It's not Peter Gabriel. He's been taken. It's someone who everyone thought would be dead, but he continues to live. It's Robbie Williams.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Yay! Oh, wow. And he's a monkey the whole time? He's a monkey the whole time. I'm going eight for this guy. I can finally hear a Robbie Williams song. He plays... Does he play Millennium?
Starting point is 00:27:40 He plays a millennium. Does he look like a monkey on the stage? Does he play rock DJ? He plays rock DJ. He starts flinging his skin off until he's just a skeleton. Oh, that's pretty cool. Sturge upon the corpse of Bono. Wow.
Starting point is 00:27:52 That's pretty cool. Does he play any of like the Take That songs or whatever that band was? No, he doesn't play any take that. Gary Barlow would be livid. Yeah, you guys... Hey, can somebody email Gary Barlow real? You can't get a hold of Barlow. He's way too big.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Jeff, you know who Gary Barlow? Doesn't everybody know Gary Barlow? Of take that fame? Why did he have to kill Bono? Why? Yeah. Four guys came out and then Robbie Williams killed Bono and the rest of you two scattered. And that was a very goof world fest.
Starting point is 00:28:33 That was a very goof world fest. Andrew, what do you think? for your final act. Blazers gone. Starts raining on the crowd. Water coming down. Why?
Starting point is 00:28:47 I don't know. It's fucking crazy. We're getting insane and goof world. Has nothing to do with this act. My final performance. I always love
Starting point is 00:28:57 when I can put some Canadian representation into my board. Crush test dummies. None other. Then Feist. Some relaxing pop music.
Starting point is 00:29:08 to close the show, get everybody in a good mood. The Apple music band? I mean, that's how you know them as an American. But as a Canadian, Feist is a lot more than that. That is that, yeah, that is a single by Feist. That's 2006. And you said, getting the check and going home was it back. You?
Starting point is 00:29:29 No, you just don't know music. You might have bombed your whole draft. No, I love Feist. Fice is a strong Canadian pull, I'm sure. It is. As your main event? Yeah. Well, I don't view it as a main event.
Starting point is 00:29:42 I have four main events is what I got. Okay. Well, I only, I have a main event. Jeff, what's your main event? It can't be feist. I'm glad you asked, Eric, a lot of people have heard rumors that maybe Robbie Williams was going to close out my show and maybe feist, but neither approved to be true. We've had our mellow Jimmy Buffett moment for an hour and 10 minutes we sang along to all of our parents. favorite songs.
Starting point is 00:30:11 We really loved it. And now we're ready to rock out. Detroit style. We want to rock out with the most rocking rock band of all time, put on the biggest best show ever consistently every time. We're going to end the show with Kiss. The hottest band in the land? That's right.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Who better to close out a goof world goof fest than with the Kiss Army? I heard some of you in the crowd like the Texark. Ace to alcohol! And everyone's like, yay, yeah. They start naming alcohol is so cool. That's awesome. Peter, is it the original lineup with Peter Chris? Yes, it is.
Starting point is 00:30:50 He's the cat man. Whoa, meow. You've never tried to steal Peter Gabriel for me. Everybody's still alive. It's amazing. Dude, to see, that's a great lineup. To see Ace, pretty cool. To see Peter, pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Gene is also there. He will be there. I like Paul Stanley. That's great. Which member do you think would be most likely to replace their makeup with the regulation logo for Goof World Day. Gene if you paid him. It would be Peter Chris.
Starting point is 00:31:17 It would be Peter Chris because I think you would do anything not to be the cat man anymore. I think that at their first show, Kiss told Peter Chris, hey, we're all going to be cats. Paint your face like a cat. The show is at seven. So you've got to be here at seven. And then he's like, oh, okay. And then he shows up like a cat. and then he sees the other guys
Starting point is 00:31:40 and he's the only one like a cat and they go too fucking late and then they put the drumsticks in his hand and that's how he became the cat man. That's, I really think that they tricked him. Got him good. Peter Chris. Rock and roll.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Thanks Pete. Hey, Nick, you have one more pick. What do you got? Oh, things are calming down. It's getting quiet. Things are... No smoke this time, by the way. No smoke.
Starting point is 00:32:05 But the stage is completely black. Nobody can see what's going on. Suddenly, lights go up. It's reeling in the years. It's Steely Dan. Was that reeling in the years? Oh, okay. I guess I hear it.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Anyway, do it again. Whoa. Eric, don't lose that number. Ryun Choo. Ryun 50. Oh, my God. For Steely Dan. Wow, they really really.
Starting point is 00:32:38 like that steely Dan pick, Nick. Good pick, Nick. Yeah. Good lineup. See it, goof, Paloos. See it. Did you end it with, uh? Did you say, uh?
Starting point is 00:32:50 Gufaloosa. Ploos. Uh. Well, Motley crew has rocked it out. Vince Neal's sad, leaving. Beach Boys had Charles Manson, Dennis Wilson, just can't believe what happened. Hey, it's tough.
Starting point is 00:33:09 but ACDC murder for hire, it goes awry. He takes the shot. He's like shoot the thrill. He starts shooting into the crowd, but he's missing. He's like a hundred years old. There's no way. He's not going to be able to make that shot. He's dejected.
Starting point is 00:33:22 They end their set as grunk funkel gives 20 subs. Oh my God, grunk funkel. Because grunk funkel knows that it's time to turn this up. The smoke reappears. It's thicker than ever. The lasers bigger, wider than ever. Because Jeff, it's about to get fucking, hardcore in here.
Starting point is 00:33:41 We're turning it all the way up as Klegko gives five subs. And this is for the youth just like that. It's turnstile. That's one for the kids. Turnstiles here.
Starting point is 00:33:55 But it's weird. It's weird. They have two guitarists on stage. One of the guitarists all of a sudden sees the father of the singer in the crowd. He runs off the stage, gets into a car,
Starting point is 00:34:08 and starts running them down in the goof world crowd. My God, attempted manslaughter. This can't be what turnstile's all about. It's not. They kicked them out of the band, and we closed down goof world with all your favorite turnstile songs, guys. Everyone's such a turnstile fan.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Eric, what's your favorite turnstile song? Just like that? I like when they say that over and over again. And then everyone goes, guys, this band is just like, dude, they're like leading the way in hardcore music. What a hardcore band. turnstile is this heavy rock. That new album is such a she gaze album. So far from hardcore. Grammy winning and
Starting point is 00:34:46 arrested for attempted vehicular manslaughter in the first degree. He was already out of the band when that happened. He been out of the band for a while. And this is how he got out of the band. How do you attempt mansula? I think you start running people down. And they make it. Yeah. I think that you, I think you attempt to kill your singer's dad with a car. Sounds like attempted murder. Pretty typical Baltimore behavior, I think.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Just like that. Guys, those are our goof world bands. Here's the lineup. I have picked Motley Crude, the Beach Boys, ACDC, and Turn Style. Hell of a show. Nick has picked Coolio, Toto, Black Sabbath, and Steely Dan.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Jeff has picked Cheap Trick, hauling oats, Jimmy Buffett and Kiss. Andrew's picked Genesis. Billy Cee. Cast, Oasis, and Feist, and Gavin. His goof lineup. Gavin has picked Randy Newman,
Starting point is 00:35:43 Michael McDonald, Chumbalwamba, and Robbie Williams. Those are our picks for Goof World Fest, and now it's up to you to let us know. Guys, any honorable mentions, anything you want to talk about with your picks? Andrew, anything you want to point out about your picks? Phil Collins is part of Genesis. What are you being? Andre has a flute, but he does not play it, but it's there.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Are you eating a homestice? Oasis isn't Pink Floyd, and Feist is a great artist, you uncultured fucks. Andrew, me and Nick looked at each other, figured it out. Andrew has spelled goof with his picks. Oh shit. His goof picks top to bottom. Way to go. That's clever.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. When I was thinking this was just artists and not a show, I had written an old lady playing the organ at a baseball game. That's a good pick. That's such a good pick, Nick. Nick, that's such a good pick.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Let me just vote for myself real quick. No, get it out of here. You guys can vote in the chat and let us know. But Robert, if you had to pick one of these fests to go to, which one would you pick? Honestly, I think I think I thematically have to go with the goof lineup What the fuck? Listen, listen, it says goof. It spells goof.
Starting point is 00:37:14 It spells goof. It spells goof. It spells goof. That was a laser. That's the goofiest. There was rain and feasts. And they were on the laser wonder. This was paid.
Starting point is 00:37:24 I had a kiss. They were on the laser wonder. They were. Oh my God Oh shit That's so funny Guys It's up to you to let us know
Starting point is 00:37:41 Who won our first ever Live poll How are you guys feeling Any honorable mentions Anything else you guys wanted to Get sent out there Darius Rucker I did
Starting point is 00:37:53 I originally wanted to go Jefferson Airplane Jefferson Starship Yeah But I went off theme I understand Sometimes you gotta go off the theme. I felt good about my theme of just like,
Starting point is 00:38:06 it's a killer lineup, a total killer lineup top to bottom. I would see any of those concerts. Yeah. You would go see Chumbabumba? I mean, I'd go hang out with Gavin and then eat a tokey leg or something. And then you watch your band and I'll watch Girl Talk.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Yeah. That's true. I watch Refuse while you watch Girls on. Yeah. I also had Billy Squire because we make fun of him a lot on Break Show. Oh yeah, that's right. I had Justin Hawkins, didn't pick him.
Starting point is 00:38:33 And then I had the Meat Men. That would have caught me off guard if you'd pick a meat man. Which was a very early podcast reference. One of the most offensive punk bands. Yeah, I tried listening to one song and I went, oh, no. Yeah, no, they're the kind of band that was... They couldn't exist today. Andrew, did you have any honorable mentions or anything?
Starting point is 00:39:00 I thought about Smashmouth for a little bit. They felt very goof to me. Yeah. Yeah. But outside of that, no, not really. I like him, Jeff. Yeah, this is crazy. In the poll, just so you guys are aware, on Twitch as we're doing this live,
Starting point is 00:39:19 me and Jeff are locked up at 31%. And I think like five votes separate us right now, which is crazy. So you can vote. But this was our first ever live draft. I'm pretty... You're voting for who you think won. I just want to clarify. What?
Starting point is 00:39:38 And what did you... I just want to make sure everyone understand. It's the poll. I'm just trying to hit triple digits. After closing this poll and after calling out that it was neck and neck, we had to get the people out of the woodwork to vote for Jeff. As Jeff closes it out with 32%.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Very close. Barely won. By nine votes. You beat me by nine votes. I had a good anniversary today. I want some golf, a couple of rounds of golf. It's pretty incredible.
