Starting point is 00:01:14 Before we get too far from it, can we get a coffee shop guest from Gavin? Oh, Gavin! Oh, shit. Oh, I didn't even think about that either, Gavin. Oh, no. All right. To recap for the audience to us, it's been 45 minutes, but for the audience, it's been a week.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Gavin is guessing if he can determine Can we go over the can we can we recite what we know Sure they live in Austin they lived in Austin before And then they moved and then they came back to Austin No they used to live What we know is when we met them they did not live in Austin Eventually they moved to Austin When I saw them my first thought was oh they still live in Austin
Starting point is 00:01:53 Got it, got it okay Also they have been to parties Most likely. Most likely. Most likely. And Aaron Blast 2000 was a good guess and Roadblock was a bad guess.
Starting point is 00:02:10 Wow. That's what we know. And once again, this is for gathering to determine the person related that I saw. Community member, I believe. Not a community member. I said someone who we worked with.
Starting point is 00:02:23 You didn't seem confident that you worked with them. You assume that you had, but you couldn't recite an example of it. on the first one. Yeah, take that. I don't think that's true. That's how I remember it.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I'm not, I could be wrong. Don't worry, Andrew's got this locked down for you. They were not, I didn't say they remember the community. I said there were somebody we used to work with
Starting point is 00:02:42 who worked in and around the company at times. Eric Vespi. Well, that's... Okay, I can see how you would make that guess because of Aaron, but no, it's not Eric Vespi.
Starting point is 00:02:53 That is exactly as good of a guess as Aaron. You also, you didn't even ask a question. You didn't, Gavin? Oh, I guess my question was, was it Eric Fatsby? Oh, so that wasn't your guess. That wasn't my guess? So you have another guest still? That was your question.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Oh, yeah. We're plugging that loophole right now. Here's a follow-up question. I'll remember for next time. Okay. Is it a man? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:22 But I thought we already knew that. If he wants to ask the same questions over and over again, I'm not going to stop. It was implied, wasn't it? Was it implied? Yeah, we kept, we said he, he, he, It was implied, but I don't know that it was ever especially stated, so now it is. It is a human male. I just, I got my head wrapped around where they used to live, where they live now and all
Starting point is 00:03:40 that, so I'm ready for next week. When we met them, they didn't live in Austin. Eventually, they lived in Austin. I was surprised that they still live in Austin. I still feel like initially you said that they may not have ever worked for Rastardtie but they probably did. Maybe not as like an employee, but they've definitely, like they may not have been a salaried employee, but they've definitely done work with
Starting point is 00:04:01 Rister Teeth. Oh. Interesting. Okay. Well, I think I'm going to be a lot less help to you now, Gavin. Sorry to tell you. Oh, no. Yeah. Oof. All right, well, I'll come up with a better question for
Starting point is 00:04:19 next week. I didn't even think to come up with two guesses for this week. I forgot we're doing two. Yeah, so did I. And I love this game. You love this game? I'm a little less invested now, because I feel like I'm not going to get it. I thought I may have got it before, but it seems like we're veering away from a group of people that I would know.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Eric, do you think you would have got to? No, fuck no. I don't think Eric knows this person. No, you got, no, because this is somebody that you guys knew in 2013 or some bullshit. Like, there's no way.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Probably even a little older than that, yeah. Yeah, see, like, there's no, there's definitely longer than that. Some 2009 ass. By the way, these are free answers to questions right now. Yeah, this is like some, like some, it's not going to matter. Gavin's not going to remember anything in a week, but.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Jason Saldanya or some bullshit. Like, there's no way I'm getting this. Also, not a friend of Jason Saldania, another free answer. Also, we're not recording next week, so it'll be two weeks before Gavin guesses again. So I'll get, I could probably tell you who it is and he won't remember in two weeks. Hey. It's pretty cool. Hi, how you doing?
Starting point is 00:05:22 Pretty good. I've thought about taste. Okay. I was thinking about taste last night. I was thinking about Gavin and the butter thing. in general. How do you... So taste buds,
Starting point is 00:05:37 they, everyone has them, but they're more potent or less potent per person? Is that the differentiator of taste? Potent butts? Well, like, I was thinking,
Starting point is 00:05:50 okay, this was the thought. I think it's odd that I think the brain has more say and what's good and what isn't than the mouth does. The brain has the only say. Than the tongue. But the brain doesn't have the taste buds.
Starting point is 00:06:04 The brain has everything. It's all the brain. Well, now, because the taste buds send the info to the brain. Yeah. But it's not the brain. Your tongue isn't your brain. Are you saying, like, if we swapped tongues,
Starting point is 00:06:20 would you taste different? I think if we kept the same brain, but swapped tongues, we would... We would taste essentially the same as we did before. In every scenario, you have to keep the same brain. What do you mean? Like, that's the U-Bit.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Like, we can swap brains. Yeah, that's what I'm-that's what? But the tongue me, me-tong is the me bit for me. It's what? Holy, holy shit. Me-tong is the me bit for me. All right, that's the title. Thank you. Got it.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Oh, God damn. What the fuck. If you take my tongue and give it to you and I take your tongue, but we keep the brains, I think the tongue doesn't really change all that much in the taste department. I think it's more a mental thing. And I thought that was interesting. Yeah. Well, because here's the, I was thinking about, you know how in like Assassin's Creed or like Batman, how you can do like the ping, the sonar ping? And it goes like, boo.
Starting point is 00:07:27 And then like the wave shoot out and it scans things. Yeah. in the area. I was like, oh, it'd be so cool if you could do something like that for your mouth. And then it would just tell you, like you could put it in a database and it would tell you all the things that you may actually find delicious that you don't know about. Oh, like if I could ping the grocery store and I would see all the stuff I like. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Like you'd say, oh, hey, you actually don't know this, but this type of zucchini, you'd fucking love. It'd be, you would go crazy for this. and that would be nice but then I was thinking about you can't really scan taste but because I don't think that's how taste buds work also and I don't want to throw a monkey wrench into this whole thing
Starting point is 00:08:09 but the majority of what we ascribe to flavor and taste comes from smell not from taste buds really yeah but what does that what does that have to do with the brain Jeff now what so we would have to change the I think you'd probably have more a chance of changing a taste
Starting point is 00:08:25 if you switch noses with Gavin that's crazy Whoa, are you, the unbreakable? Holy shit. If we switch noses for an hour, I would try and break your nose for the full hour, I think. It's 60 minutes a bunch of myself in the nose. I would just get back a perfectly good nose and you would have a sore face. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:47 That's what it would happen. But I was just, it's interesting because you would think that the mouth has a lot to do with if a thing is good or not. But Jeff, you're saying the nose has a bigger role in it. And then the brain, I think, has the ultimate rule. The brain has the ultimate role. I would agree with that. It's fucking sixth grade science going on in here. Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:09:05 That diagram of the taste buds in like the different taste areas. That's all horses shit, isn't it? Or is that right? I don't even know what you're talking about. You never learned a school like bitter is over here and like sweet is over here and sour. No. No.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Oh. Wait. I knew exactly where you're talking about. Yes. You went to school? Oh. I would, yeah. People think there's zone?
Starting point is 00:09:28 I paid attention. They didn't teach us this. I don't think they taught us that in school. All the diagrams in my school was like, here are the zones. The side of the tongue is for sour? It was like this. And the front of the tongue is salty.
Starting point is 00:09:42 I remember this, Gavin. And then even, I feel like I remember it as a kid going like, well, that can't possibly be true, right? Like, there's no way that's real. Well, basically what they're saying is the outside, the bottom one is just like the ring of the tongue
Starting point is 00:09:55 is everything in the middle of the tongue is nothing. Well, that's the umami thing is what is like that people are going like, oh, that's like where like the richness. There's also a lot of uncharted tongue in this diagram. And that's why I think that it's like largely like wrong. Also, I feel like probably this taste bud map is just that's maybe like where you taste it stronger. If there's anything to do with it, it's not like, hey, this only tastes sour.
Starting point is 00:10:18 You know what I mean? Also, you have like 10,000 taste buds. Exactly. That's why I think it's, yeah, it's bullshit. Your brain's doing all the work along with your nose. Yeah, I think it's brain and nose, not mouth at all, which is, I hadn't, I thought it was weird. I never really thought about it. I can always feel my brain having such an effect when I expect a different taste from what I'm eating.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Like, even if I like it, if I went to drink orange juice, yeah. And I accidentally drank milk. Even though I don't mind milk, I would be repulsed by that. Dude, I know exactly what you mean. When that happens, it is so, it's so jarring. It's so jarring. Wouldn't you get the wrong thing? I still can't believe I couldn't detect that strawberry in the, in the fruit guessing.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Yeah. I really messed me up. You did well with just about everything else, though. You did, though. Yeah, you killed it outside of that. That's the only surprising one of like, huh? Interesting. I guess I would think of it as like the taste bud just receives the flavor and then transmits it to the brain
Starting point is 00:11:20 and makes no determination or judgment on, you know, how, good or bad that flavor is. That's also the brain and the nose to decide, I guess. It'd be cool if you could intercept the information. Like if I could just eat salads and then I intercept the nerve and sneak in a bunch of like steak information. That's a great idea.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Steak information. Oh, I'm hacking my brain. I'm putting in steak information. So the idea would be that when you'd have salad, would taste steak? Is that what you're saying? Yeah, like a Big Mac or something. Oh, Big Mac. Like, I don't mind the flavor of a Big Mac, but do I want to eat one? Absolutely
Starting point is 00:12:04 not. That's so funny. I went to the reverse of that where I thought you're trying to make other foods taste like Big Mac. Yeah, that's what I am. I've done that. Okay. Okay. It's probably even more beneficial if it made Big Macs Max taste like something I don't want. I'd probably be healthier for Jeff. I could...
Starting point is 00:12:19 Big Macs, you mean the sour cream thing? No, thank you. I'll stick to my salad. My steak salad. Jeff, maybe this is how we get you to eat white stuff. That's sort of what I was thinking. Maybe. Because I share with Jeff, I don't like white things either, and that's all head. That's all in my brain.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Have you ever done that stuff that reverses the taste of lemon or something? Yeah, like the like miracle berry things or whatever? Yeah, where you can suddenly just not, you can just suddenly eat all the sourness of a lemon. Yeah. No. Oh, we should do it. Yeah, we should get some. Fucked myself up with some lemon sours last night
Starting point is 00:12:59 What'd you mean? I was cleaning my bedside table And I had a bag of gummies That were Like Japanese sours There were five of them And I just wanted to get rid of the bag So I threw all five in my mouth
Starting point is 00:13:15 And that was a mistake I forgot how sour those things were They could like eat through your face Yeah they're not that It wasn't that strong It wasn't a Jeremy situation But it was like It was very puckery
Starting point is 00:13:26 And not enjoyable. I don't know if the berries would help. Why was your solution just to stuff them all in, though? Because I wanted to throw them away, and I didn't want to waste the food. I wanted to get rid of the container, the bag, but there were like five of that. I think I only had one. I went, oh, these are way too sour. So then I had five at once, and that was also way too sour.
Starting point is 00:13:52 But wouldn't it have been better just to have one and then throw four away? I guess, but then I'm wasting this thing. It's wasted in you. It might be worse than wasted in you. That's actually an interesting point. It's poison. That way. Oh, no, I don't agree.
Starting point is 00:14:11 That I thought you just meant like, because it was very sour. It was too sour for me. Well, also, I assume no benefit to eating it. Taste? Yeah, but you get that with one. I mean, it's a gum. It's four gumming. Like, it's, these are.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Like the size of Skittles. Okay. It's tiny. Small. I'm not eating a giant lemon. Four giant lemon. I think any sour stuff at any size is too big. Really?
Starting point is 00:14:43 Are you not a sour guy, Eric? Hey, Nick, am I a sour guy? No, he is not. It's weird that he had to have Nick answer for him. He despises it. It's hilarious. It's something we've cracked the coat on at 100% eat. fucking hate sour.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Oh, it sounds like we're just getting started on regulation. That's awesome. Is there a line for you where it crosses over? Sour. Yes, sour. But there's a range of sour. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:10 You know when something takes sour? Yeah, you know when something tastes sour? Yeah, you know when something tastes sour? It's that. What about a lime and a Corona? But like a sour patch kid has initial sour and then it's not sour at all and it's just kind of gumming. I can eat those, but I have to suffer through the sour.
Starting point is 00:15:24 I do not enjoy it. But do you like the second half of it? Yeah, because it's sweet. What about what Gavin said? The lime in a corona, but I'm not eating the lime. Also, that's not like the sour that I'm thinking of. Like the lime sour is like, it's different than eating a handful of like sour patch kids, which just made me like pucker and go, ugh, thinking about it.
Starting point is 00:15:46 You don't like chemically manufactured sour, but Mother Nature's sour is fine to you. I guess. Yeah, I don't know. Mother Nature's sour. never going to find a warhead or whatever out in the wild, but if you're okay with a lemon or a line. Just like how you won't ever find Riddick out in the wild. Now you're getting it. So it's a character not draft, not it's a it's a character not draft. Jeff. Yeah. Nick, you can't lose the way because you're the
Starting point is 00:16:19 only one that's got it, buddy. Yeah, Nick, please hold on to it. Uh, speaking of that draft, uh, I didn't mention it last week because we were in the middle of creating whatever the fuck that's going to be. But we recently landed on an idea for a new draft that we'll probably do here pretty soon. Wanted to put it out there so the audience knows to get excited for it or get unexcited for it if you think it's a bad idea.
Starting point is 00:16:39 We're going to do food named after places draft. So think like Yorkshire pudding, New York strip steak. Maybe we didn't tell Andrew. Maybe it was something we talked about in person. Was it just Eric Gavin and I talking about it? Might have been break show. Might have been break show. I thought it had been talked about a couple of times.
Starting point is 00:16:55 I thought we had talked about it last Friday. But yeah, think like Boston baked beans. Mississippi roast. You know, we do a draft of the best foods that are named after places. Interesting. I'm going to have a whole sour board. Why?
Starting point is 00:17:13 Dedicate it to you. I don't want it. Don't do that. I got you all these sour things. I'm going to pick them based off of Vin Diesel characters. This is what I'm going to do. Sour Van Diesel characters. named after places that are food.
Starting point is 00:17:28 It's great when you watch a movie and you can tell the script like is written in a way that they did not convey at all in the direction of it. And that Babylon AD movie he goes to Harlem and he steps out of the car
Starting point is 00:17:40 and he looks around and he goes Harlem's changed. But you don't see Harlem at all. You just see him. So it means nothing. It's a moment where I watched it and went clearly in the script it's supposed to like indicate that
Starting point is 00:17:52 he looks and you see all this futuristic shit. But it's just him. So it doesn't, there's no weight to the statement. I really like this cover that says Vin Diesel Babylon AD, which I'm not familiar with, raw and uncut. Yeah, because I gotta
Starting point is 00:18:08 say, Andrew, the image you just showed us or the image that whoever put it up just showed us, it just looks like Harlem. Just looks like New York City. Well, that's Europe. Is it really? That's supposed to be Europe. They're not even in New York at that point. That could be Brooklyn right there. Oh. Yeah, there's... That could be shortage.
Starting point is 00:18:24 I actually, I think I know where that block is. Oh, in London. I had lunch inside that shipping container. Finn Diesel has a lot of hair in this movie?
Starting point is 00:18:33 No, he's got some hair, but not a lot. That's way more than he ever has, dude. That's so much. That is a lot of hair for him.
Starting point is 00:18:40 Compared to what he usually has, that's, yeah, that's quite a yeah, it has to be. That's interesting, because I don't view that as like, but it is. But it is.
Starting point is 00:18:47 You view it as skin? Like, what are you talking about? No, you're right, it is hair, but it's so, it's so like,
Starting point is 00:18:56 That material, you know those toys where you can like do the facial hair on the guy? The goofy facial hair. He's a woolly-willy? He's a woolly-willy. It just looks like woolly-willy. It doesn't strike me as like, that's hair. A bit of skin left over. The shape of the hair is like the Iron Man mask.
Starting point is 00:19:13 It is. Wow. That's a secret audition. I sent Eric this clip because I was, by this point, this video is out. We did Wheelman. Vin Diesel's wheelman for GTA at Home 3. And I wanted to try to find clips of him talking about the game in an extravagant way. And I did not find that, but he did apparently do an Xbox stream with Paul Walker's brother for like six hours for charity that they cut down into a highlight video.
Starting point is 00:19:44 And the concept of the stream was that they had to do gaming challenges. And every time they completed a gaming challenge, they got like $10,000 for a charity that they were fundraising for. and one of the challenges was to hit a home run and Super Mega Baseball within three minutes and all of these challenges were very clearly structured to be like things they could easily do and Vin Diesel was not able to hit a home run
Starting point is 00:20:07 in Super Mega Baseball. It's the only challenge they didn't complete and you only see two seconds of it in the highlight reel like I think they clearly had to show Super Mega Baseball as part of some deal but I want the footage. I want the three full minutes so badly of VIII.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Vin Diesel unable to hit a home run in Super Mega Baseball. I would pay so much for it. I want it so bad. Do you have Vin Diesel's phone number or email address? Can you just contact him and ask him about it? I don't. I'm so sad. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Get on it. But the highlight is so funny where they're like, yeah, you got to hit a home run in three minutes. And then it's him going, oh, man. And then that's the end of the clip. That's all you get for it. It's two seconds. Terrible.
Starting point is 00:20:47 Awful. Great is what it is. Look, holiday shopping gets expensive fast. It's time to make laundry day the best day or days of the week. Oh, Andrew, last night. night I asked, I mentioned in chat that I had completed the new prompts for sloppy jettison
Starting point is 00:24:57 and I wanted to refresh the list. And I asked how to do that and you said just to send the prompts to you. So I sent them to you. I just want to let you know that I have edited that list five or six times since I sent it to you. It should be complete now, but I continued to edit it after. And I realize I never told you that. You are a nightmare. You are an absolute nightmare. Pretty cool. It just needed, it just needed to be that there was just, yeah. Well, no. What? It's good now. It's It's done now. I respect it. It's finished now.
Starting point is 00:25:22 Why declare done before done? I thought it was. And then I looked at it and I realized I was wrong. I realized I had, okay, well, I have two questions. Here's the answer.
Starting point is 00:25:32 I didn't meet the standard required and I noticed that. And instead of letting an inferior product go out, I edited it. And then it was one in the morning. And I figured I'll just tell you when I wake up in the morning. And then, you know, here we are.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Well, I was on top of it and I've already reached out to the person they've already implemented the list. But I can reach out again. I'll have them change whatever you have. that you want to... It has minor changes, minor changes. But they're important.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Is that better? Now, do you want... So you sent a whole bunch of prompts. Yeah. Are these replacing the old prompts? Or are these in addition to... It's an entire new refresh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Delete every old... Delete every prompt in this database and replace them with this. Interesting. Because I remember there were some we talked about with Slopi Josvingo. You want to remove? Because like the pink taxis
Starting point is 00:26:19 don't really exist anymore, right? Gone. Doesn't exist anymore. It's out of the list. I got rid of it. We got to see ghost. The ghost bus consolidated some stuff. In October?
Starting point is 00:26:30 I removed the ghost bust and then last night at about 1.30 in the morning I put it back in. Because I decided that I was wrong. Interesting. That was one of my changes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Okay. Yeah. Well, I can get that over. The person who makes that site has such a wonderful job. I reached out to them about it. Super kind. They're able to update it, no problem.
Starting point is 00:26:51 So if you just send me that list again, I'll let them know. It's sent. It's the list that's in your, I was editing it in our DM. Well, it was, okay. So what is there is edited, is done? It's also not a DM. You just post it in the general Slack channel, which I thought was funny. Oh, did I?
Starting point is 00:27:09 I thought I sent it to you directly. So that's it, the one in our general Slack channel. I'll just pull for there. Awesome. I just replied to you where you were. Yeah, all the channels. You find me. anywhere. You can put it in metadata if you want.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I'll find it. I can do that. Hold on. Kevin, do you think you could do a sloppy Joe's prompt from just the times you've watched it? If you were going to build a bingo board, do you think you could build a full bingo board just from all the times we've streamed at this point? I feel like I could make a pretty decent bingo board. Yeah. Of all of my own prompts? Yeah. Yeah. Easy. Do you think it's easy, Jeff, or do you think it would be deceptively hard?
Starting point is 00:27:46 Why did you put it in the metadata slack? Well, Andrew said to. I didn't say to. I said, if you put it there, I find it. And I would. And I said, okay, I'll put it there. So I did. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:57 There you go. You're welcome. It may be easy for Gavin, but it's hard for me. I think it can be deceptively hard. I think there are things that stick out your brain as like events you see during a stream like that that aren't actually that common. Well, some of them on there are from stuff we came up with together. Yes, that's true. but you have to
Starting point is 00:28:18 run it, you know, a couple of times over a couple different days to really get a feel of whether a prompt is going to be doable or not, you know? Sure.
Starting point is 00:28:27 It just takes time. And then if you edit that or change it, then you got to do it a couple. It just, it took me all summer to get it together because I did spend a lot of time
Starting point is 00:28:34 playing the game to make sure that the prompts are, you know, achievable without being too easy or too hard. Actually, some of them are very easy
Starting point is 00:28:42 that are meant to be, but, you know, nothing's meant to be too hard. Have you considered if Sloppy Joe, ever went on a business, would that just be the end of that concept to you, or would you try to find a different bar
Starting point is 00:28:53 that offers something similar? I would do Sloppy Joe's Bingo at any bar that offered a camera of similar quality in a street that offered that much to look at. So it's not necessarily a preciousness of... Yeah, I mean, I have an affinity and an affection for Sloppy Joe's because they opened up this world to us
Starting point is 00:29:12 and they've allowed us to create this game, and they seem to not be annoyed with us doing it. And, you know, I, it's been great, but I'm not like tied to them in any way. If there was a competitor that opened up a similar live stream, I'd certainly be willing to play, you know, Bill's beer barn bingo. It is incredible that it's not just the setup that they offer, but in the place that they offer it. It's a perfect storm. It really is. It is a perfect storm.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Like, I want the bar to be in the way. Florida. I want the angles that they have. Like it is masterful. It's also the right vibe to, because like we have 6th Street in Austin and Bourbon Street in New Orleans and there are cameras on those streets that
Starting point is 00:30:00 kind of provide a similar view and the vibes are just totally different in those places. Like there's something special to the Key West vibe in general and I think that's what makes bingo work. For sure. Speaking of, when do you want to do another one? do it in October.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Let's do one the third week of October. The third week of October. Okay, so if today's the first, is this the first week of October? It's a Thursday. Yeah, first to the seventh, and then the second week
Starting point is 00:30:31 would be the eighth to the, whatever, 14th. Is that how you count the weeks? And then the third would be, well, in this instance. In this instance, I am. I guess I just wouldn't have thought of it like that. Would you not have counted this as the first week?
Starting point is 00:30:46 I was just, yeah, isn't this the first week of... Well, that's what I'm asking is that it starts on like a Thursday. It's like, do you want me to count this as the first week or do you want next week to be the first week? I'm just trying to push it far enough so that I'm back in town and I don't like have to do it the night I get home. So I just said third week seemed far enough down the road. Okay. You want to do it on maybe, ooh, the 16th in the evening looks pretty good. That's a Friday night.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Yeah, that's perfect. Interesting, interesting. Why is that date some familiar? Yeah, well, yeah. Does that sound familiar to you too, Nick? for some reason. Oh. What?
Starting point is 00:31:21 It's on the calendar. That's why it sounds familiar. Some we're recording it on the 16th before the Twitch stream. Oh. Oh. Yeah. Duh.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Do you want to do sloppy Joe's bingo on the 16th then? Yeah. What time? You want to do kick it off at like 9? 9 p.m. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:41 9 p.m. Okay. So we're what? What day does this come out? This podcast. that we're currently recording. This comes out on the 14th. 14th.
Starting point is 00:31:51 So, uh, see you in two days. Yeah, see in two days. There you go. See you in two days. Do you have any guesses? I think that Gavin has had five, no, three slices of pizza by this point. Two.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Ooh. It's two. I'll say one. Who's had the most? Me. You? No, I think it's gonna be Jeff. I'm not feeling particularly motivated.
Starting point is 00:32:12 I think Gavin's had one, one slice of pizza. I want a pizza today. I'm, I'm getting a piece of, pizza today. It's happening. Andrew's had eight slices. Eric said four. Nick has had two and I've had five. That sounds right. I would double that my slice count.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Jesus. Like two pizzas? 16 slices? Okay. What do you think you got to end up on this year for pizza? Okay. Let's do some quick pizza math, really, really. how many slices per pizza? I would say eight slices per pizza.
Starting point is 00:32:55 Medium, yeah, so medium and probably mainly eat medium-sized pizzas, eight slices. Got to bring up the calculator. Well, how many pizzas a week? Probably one. I don't know if I, a pizza per week seems like a lot. Here, here's the problem. I'm going to lay out a number that I think is going to be low,
Starting point is 00:33:15 and it's going to average to more than one per week. But in my head, one per week seems like a lot. Okay. What number do you think? I think I'm at a minimum. Okay. Once again, when you do the bath on these things, you look at it, it seems extreme. I was going to say I'd probably 50 pizzas, but that's 400 slices.
Starting point is 00:33:36 And that seems like a number I wouldn't hit. But maybe I will because 50. If you said to me, hey, do you think you'll eat 50 pizzas this year? I, without question, would say, yeah, probably. That feels right. I think so. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:33:58 That's like four pizzas a month? Like a pizza week, essentially? I think it comes in waves, though. I think there are certain weeks where I'm going to eat two or three pizzas a week, and then I'll do nothing. Well, I don't think a pizza a week sounds crazy. Like, if you order out one night a week and it's pizza, Yeah, or even like take home.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Or even a microwave pizza or like whatever, yeah. Frozen pizza. That's what I'm thinking. You call a frozen pizza a take home pizza? Well, they're two different types. I mean, they're the frozen and then the take home. We're like, if you go to a grocery store. If I'm grocery shopping, I might buy a take home pizza.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Yeah, are there places that sell like pre-prepared, like what is it, Marcellos? Is that the name of that place? Where you go and you buy a pizza and then you take it home and cook it? Yeah, like grocery stores. That's the stupidest. I hate that concept. Why?
Starting point is 00:34:47 So stupid. The concept of going to a place to get the pizza and they don't cook it for you is insane. What if they don't have the ability to cook it? It's not just a store? Right. But they only sell pizza. So Gavin, instead of a store, imagine they take out everything else and then it's only uncooked pizzas. Well, I guess it means it's definitely going to be hot when you eat it.
Starting point is 00:35:12 That's the point of it is like you can. cook it when you're ready and you get the pizza as fresh as possible at home. There is that chain, right, that you said, it's the pizza chain where they only do take, take and bake? Yeah. Pizzas. Yeah, there's a, there's a place. I think it's called Papa Murphys that does that.
Starting point is 00:35:26 I think that might be a Papa Murphys, yeah. It is Papa Murphys. I've never done this. I want somebody who doesn't use an oven and they ordered one not knowing it was taken bake and then tried to microwave it as their solution to cook it. And I don't think it worked. They just don't have an oven? No, they just didn't like using it.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Oh, wait. Yeah, I agree. Wait. Yeah, I'm with... Like, I guess I guess not wanting to use an oven, but in an emergency, surely you'd fire that bad boy up. Some of us can't use our oven right now. I'd kill to use an oven.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Yeah, he can't go to Papa Murphys or whatever. Yeah, it's true. You have to go to Dominoes or something. Sorry, dude. I did have Dominoes the other day. It was... Damn. Eoker. Yeah, I don't like Domino's that much.
Starting point is 00:36:09 It's over. Dominoes and Pizza Hutter. just over. Like the quality is dropped or there's just better stuff out there now? Just, it's gone so far downhill that they don't even remember where the hill was. Nope. It's a, it's, it's, it's, it's fallen so far. It doesn't resemble the, and I'm not trying to be one of those people, uh, but it doesn't
Starting point is 00:36:31 resemble the pizza that I fell in love with as a kid or even as a teenager or in my 20s and 30s. Are you ever caught off guard by pizza commercials? All the time. Like Little Caesars is the, uh, pizza of the NFL and whenever I see that or hear that I go they don't have the money for that it doesn't it feels like they shouldn't have enough wealth to be the NFL pizza they knew really well they make a lot of money yeah because everything's so cheap there everything like their ingredients
Starting point is 00:37:00 are cheap and everything's cheap they sell everything fast and they make a ton of cash I feel like little Caesars is great recession pizza sure well welcome a little Caesars you get a lot of pizza for a little money, you know, so... Oh, yeah. It tastes fine. I love it. I think a little Seizor's great. Having you a little Seasers guy?
Starting point is 00:37:18 I think I'm about it. What? You've been in the arena. You saw a hockey game there. Oh, yeah. Oh. It's Detroit. It's Detroit-based place.
Starting point is 00:37:28 But, uh, yeah. Let me, Detroit. Rewind. Detroit-based pizza place is what I was trying to say. Yeah. You get there. I think you would be, I could get you to never eat a little Caesar so quickly. There is a video of like how they mix the sauce and it is such an unappealing thing
Starting point is 00:37:46 Describe it. Okay, I'm gonna describe it based on memory. I haven't watched it a long time, but it's essentially a plastic like Tupperware container on the floor with tomato paste and then their power drilling into it essentially to mix it. Well, that's just how you mix big stuff though, in it? You got to get machinery involved. Yeah, but it's just, it's more like it's a little Caesar's floor.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Like there's no dedicated machine It's just a guy holding a drool over it's just like on the floor That's surely not how they all do it though I feel like in my memory it was like a Reddit post of how this is made And somebody was concerned that this is how it was all made And it was people replying I guess he could question how truthful these comments were But everyone was like yeah I work at a little Csers
Starting point is 00:38:34 In a different place this is essentially how it's done Does that gross you out there Uh yeah A little bit. Because you ate a 10-day-old pizza. Yeah. It's a great point. This is the, a photo of the finita.
Starting point is 00:38:48 This is, yeah, this is exactly it. It was a power drill. That's awesome. It looks like, it just looks like they're cooking to me. I guess if they're also like putting shelves up with that, that's pretty grim. Yeah, that looks. That's a sanitary drill. You're fine.
Starting point is 00:39:05 I was expecting a bigger tub. No. Yeah, it's kind of a small. them. Like, there's kitchen equipment that could easily do that, I'm sure. Big stainless steel sanitary can kitchen equipment. Yeah, but like, why buy specific equipment when you can just use your dad's drill? Yeah, I bet that's some dude who, like, the Domino's who had a good idea and was like, I can improve the efficiency here and took photos of it because he was fucking jazzed.
Starting point is 00:39:36 So is that grosser to you, Andrew, than the cup cup? cake on the part through floor? Yes and no. Things you got to explain to me. The no part of that. Because the cupcake on the floor thing is obviously incredibly gross. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:56 But you could just, in my head, there's a layer of protection in a scenario. With your floor? No, because I didn't, the cupcake part I ate, never touched the floor. Right.
Starting point is 00:40:09 I threw away of all the floor bit. There's like breeze and stuff though. There's probably blowing floor dust up into the... But if you're worried about floor dust, everything is covered in shit. Everything's constantly breezing everywhere. Yeah, I remember that being your argument last time you said everything was poo. But... But not even that.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Like, think about all the dead skin that you shoot out of your mouth whenever you talk. There's dead... Everything's... Everything's super gross. Wait. Where? What? Isn't that a thing?
Starting point is 00:40:47 You shoot out skin when you talk? I don't know about that, but you shoot out skin? Or you're shedding constantly as a person? You're slothing off dead skin constantly. Constantly. You're endlessly slothed off skin. Every time you sit down or lay down, you're rubbing dead skin off or everything. Everything on a microscopic level, the world is fucking disgusting.
Starting point is 00:41:09 It's so gross. Yeah, I think the germs, though, like on a microscopic level, there's like, there's like bugs in your eyebrows. There's like, wriggling creatures in the roots of your eyebrows right now. Sure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Oh, God, that's gross. Disgusting. Yeah. Is that cool? No, it's not cool. All right. Shames my eyebrows. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:31 I remember the other food prep thing that also I was like, ooh, that's kind of gross and I don't mind eating them, but learning about it is McDonald's onion bucket for like the thinly sliced onions. They essentially use just a bucket of water with a bunch of
Starting point is 00:41:45 onions and stir it in like a concrete mixing bucket type thing. I feel like you're sneaking a G into the word onions. Something about the way you're saying onions is great. Onion. It sounded like you're saying onion. Onion. Well, now I tried to do it the way that you said. Onion.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Uh-oh. Like an arrested development. Onion. Onion. Onion? Is that okay? Onion? No, that was bad.
Starting point is 00:42:10 That sounds like Ungian. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was wrong. That's a bad one. Onion. Onion Maybe that's just the way we say it down here in Gooftown
Starting point is 00:42:19 Maybe we added a G You say onion Onion Onion onion Onion onion If it was If I was doing it phonetically
Starting point is 00:42:30 I'd be UN Y UN Okay Nick you do it It's not in the mask Onion I think the same It's a new episode He forgot
Starting point is 00:42:43 What were they doing with the onions? It was just in like a white bucket and they would stir it because they were like... They're just rehydrating, dehydrated. They're rehydrated, but then that's where they would source all the onion from. You really are focusing on the G and onion now. You really push it. Onion.
Starting point is 00:43:06 That was a hard onion. Oh, fuck. Onion. Oh my God. Onion. There's somebody driving to work right now who's going to drive off the road. This is insane. I'm not, I'm trying so hard to not even include a G.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Onion. He's doing it so much. He did it in slow motion. Because it's O-N-I-O-N. Um, on, on, on, on, on-on-on-on-on-on-on-on-ion, onion, onion. Onion, onion. Hey, say unabridged. Unabridged.
Starting point is 00:43:44 Say Unable. Unable. Onion. Onion. What is insane? Onion? What's the bag of crispy ones called? Crispy onions.
Starting point is 00:44:00 No, the brand. No, the... Funions? They're like chips. Yeah. Funions. Say it again? Say it again?
Starting point is 00:44:08 Funions. Nailed it. Yeah, so why can you say, I don't understand. Maybe just never say onion again. Just replace onion with funnion. Onion? From here and out. Onion?
Starting point is 00:44:18 I don't understand what's different between what I'm saying and what you're saying. Onion. What part of it's wrong? There is such a... You could set your clock to a second recorded episode in the same day being fucking weird in a way you cannot expect. New from Nespresso. Starting point is 00:45:20 I'm still trying to figure out what part of this is wrong Before we make it a segment we can't move on You see Eric's onion bucket? Fuck Shit That was like an M in that one I was like I got no confidence in it
Starting point is 00:45:37 I'm scared You see his diced bucket It's gonna have like fucking nine letters in it by the time he's done onion I don't understand I just see somebody rehydrating onions
Starting point is 00:45:52 yeah that's what it is onions so you don't like you don't like dehydrated rehydrated food no I don't mind dehydrated
Starting point is 00:45:59 rehydrated food I just think the visual of it in a bucket being all like mixed up is kind of gross yeah you know oh you never worked fast food
Starting point is 00:46:07 that's yeah no I haven't worked I think I think you get desensitized to the idea of food in buckets pretty quickly yes you do
Starting point is 00:46:15 There is nothing grosser than going into the fucking chicken freezer at a fast food chicken restaurant and just buckets of chicken legs in fucking like three inches of gross bloody water just sitting there. Yeah, what is the worst delicious food that looks bad in a vat? I mean, it's probably the chicken nuggets from McDonald's. Yeah, it's got to be up there. Yeah. It's real gross. they are really gross
Starting point is 00:46:45 the like the pink whatever slime that's real remember the myth busters guy did the whole like it's not a real thing they paid him and I think people were mad about it oh grott yeah you like a deep dive like McDonald's did a deep dive on myth busting their food processing
Starting point is 00:47:03 they investigated themselves yeah as all major corporations do and then they said it's all good so what was the issue like people did people think it was bollocks I think people thought it was like not chicken. Oh. I think they thought it was like just pink goo essentially that was flavored to be chicken.
Starting point is 00:47:25 And so they showed the process of making the chicken paste essentially. Well, are enough chickens born for McDonald's? Yeah. Yes. Yes, but also kind of no. Oh. that's why, and once again, this is the thing I feel like I've heard once from a source that I cannot claim. So this could be totally wrong.
Starting point is 00:47:51 But McDonald's America doesn't get nearly as many, like, fun novelty food items than other McDonald's regions. And my understanding is because McDonald's America, there's so many of them, and they use so much of the food products, like to manipulate them in different ways with, like, fuck up the whole market, essentially. That wouldn't surprise me. Like, they couldn't, it would, it would be a food industry-wide issue as opposed to other parts of the world that aren't as reliant on McDonald's, or McDonald's doesn't use so much of the supply. I wonder how much of the earth became chicken. Well, I've got some chicken figures, if you'd like.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Ooh, love it. Not the regular segment. Like, for instance, do you know how many chickens are killed for food each year? it's got to be in the billions like 100, 150 150 billion for Eric Oh no, I just meant like 150
Starting point is 00:48:48 Oh 150 for Eric Yeah, like 150 for Eric Yeah, like 150 changes Angel Reese one Depends the Player of the Year, great well deserved So 150 for Eric Yep, I'm gonna say two billion
Starting point is 00:48:59 Two billion for Andrew I'm gonna say some extreme Like 60 billion 60 billion for Gavin Nick I'll say 10 10 billion Uh that figure that I don't
Starting point is 00:49:10 reading is 74 billion chickens. Oh my god. For meat and food production each year. At any given time, there are about 35 billion chickens alive in the world outnumbering humans about 5 to 1. At any time, there are... I feel like those stats should have been in front of chicken run to really elevate the sticks. Yeah, yeah, for sure. That's crazy that the amount killed is higher than the amount of living. Yeah. Is there any other animal, like cow maybe? Well, let me look at it.
Starting point is 00:49:43 Not currently. Isn't it weird that we've decided which animals okay for just daily murder? Mass slaughter, yeah. Does Nick get an opinion on this based on what I've heard? Oh, who?
Starting point is 00:49:58 There's about 1.58 billion cattle around the world right now. About 94 million in the US. That's about 28 million beef cows, about 9 million dairy. I guess it takes longer to make one. It takes a while to make a cow, yeah. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:50:15 It takes a lot of grain to feed a cow, too. Yeah. What, water. It is interesting, yeah, like water usage. I wonder if we'll become vegetarians at some point. I hope so. Well, doesn't almond milk take an insane amount of water to produce? Yes.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Did you say almond? almond milk, yeah. I think like every oil, every nut. almond? It's like a nightmare. What's wrong with almond? Is that how it's, is that, am I crazy? Am I nuts? How do you say it? Almond? Almond. And how are you saying it, Andrew?
Starting point is 00:50:51 Ammon. Almond? I'd say it closer to Andrew. I think both are fine. Huh. I'd probably say it closer to Andrew. Almond milk. Allmond. Fuck. Almonds. See, now it's, now nobody has any confidence in any of these words. Ammon. Ammon. Almond. Ammon. almonds. They both sound fine to me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:11 Union. I'm fucked up. Onion. No, I hope I never say onion. Oh, man. Who's saying onion? Funion. Your onion. God, you're still doing it, dude.
Starting point is 00:51:22 What do you mean? You're still doing it. It sounds like it, dude. Oh, it's amazing. Hey, I should, I should mention this in an episode because I imagine by now it's probably out or close to it, but as of the recording of this,
Starting point is 00:51:36 which is October 1st, As of last night, I turned in officially the Gooftown newsletter for you guys to edit and proofread. And I assume it's not going to take two weeks to do that. So I assume at some point we've released it digitally and people can check it out if they want to. Is that on Patreon anything? I think it's probably on Patreon and then also hopefully physically in some places too that we'll work out. But yeah, definitely it should be digital for Patreon. just like a free little newsletter we made
Starting point is 00:52:06 because we love you did such a good job it looks awesome very kind of you to say thank you so much I had a lot of fun making it I apologize that it took me oh I don't know 70 days to make it or something but I've been a busy summer absolutely been busy and you
Starting point is 00:52:22 killed it I cannot wait to see the people's reaction to it oh well thank you Andrew just a little something that we thought would be fun in the spirit of coffee news which by the way Eric should we have we no we haven't We need to talk about this. Oh, right. We had a huge coffee news update in our life.
Starting point is 00:52:38 Yeah. So you guys, the audience, have been reaching out to coffee news. A lot. So much so that I was put on an email from our coffee news contact to the president of Coffee News International, who oversees the coffee news brand, Ben. And he sent an email, a very kind email about like, hey, we loved hearing like coffee. We love hearing that people love coffee news. Your fans have reached out to us to see if they can get print copies from like all over the world.
Starting point is 00:53:18 This has been really incredible. Maybe there's something we can do with each other at some point in the future. For now, just want to say thanks for discussing coffee news on your podcast. So we have, we have promoted coffee news so much that the owner of coffee news sent us an email to say thank you. So thank you, community, because that was very cool to receive. Not just that people have reached out. There is a charter of coffee news starting in New York because of... Yep.
Starting point is 00:53:47 That is true. People have reached out that they want to begin coffee news in new areas because of what this one, because of us talking about it, which is so crazy. We have to reach out. We have to collaborate on something somewhere. We got it, yeah, but like, yeah, but like, what is that? You know what I mean? Like, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:54:02 Yeah. Regulation podcast presents coffee news. It's all the same news. Like they all share the same. It's not regional or country-based what is in those papers. I think there's something we can do. I think there's got to be something we can do.
Starting point is 00:54:19 And it's also just, I don't know. It's just gratifying to know that people appreciate the bit, you know? Absolutely. And the fact that the company appreciates the bit. absolutely. That's the biggest thing to me. I feel the same way. I feel the same way. That it's not like we're not deriding coffee news. We're not making fun of coffee news. We like coffee news. We think it's great. And it's so cool that this happened. It's great. Yeah. I mean, that's, I feel like that's the spirit of regulation.
Starting point is 00:54:49 And maybe it wasn't the spirit of things we did in previous productions in the past. But the spirit of regulation, I think, is very much sending up lovingly things that we genuinely enjoy and celebrating things that we like. And we, you know, we, We like to poke fun and be silly, but it's all in the spirit of, like, you know, expressing our love towards things that we genuinely enjoy. Yes.
Starting point is 00:55:13 And that's the thing of, like, the audience support is obviously so incredible. And it's, I love how the community as a whole adopts these things, but we're a bunch of idiots. This is a ridiculous community. So when, like, real corporations or, like, businesses are like, yeah, we fuck with that.
Starting point is 00:55:28 That always is like, that's crazy to me. That's awesome. Especially after being on the, internet for as long as we have. You much more expect the email to come be to come to you that says we've alerted our lawyers about you and we are not happy.
Starting point is 00:55:42 And that is a cease and desist. Yeah. It's so much nicer to get the other side of it. You know how fucking crazy it is that Cosmic Crisp smuggled me a knife? Yeah. Like that's nuts. It's pretty crazy. Like the Cosmic Crisp thing
Starting point is 00:55:57 was like so crazy too. It's just so cool that like these things that we enjoy, we're like, hey, thank you very much for enjoying our thing. It just doesn't feel like it happens very often. Oh, no, not at all. Super rare. So thankful for these things that occur and pop up. Oh, 100%.
Starting point is 00:56:15 And they're also, they're like so gratifying and scary at the same time because you're like, you're not supposed to see me. I'm supposed to be. Yeah, we're supposed to be. We're hidden down here. Don't look. Don't turn over that rock. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:56:27 It'll be exciting. Future of coffee news. We will see what happens. I was watching a video the other day actually about this is an old note so maybe three months ago now I've been meaning to give to you guys I just hasn't been important
Starting point is 00:56:40 I was watching a video on YouTube of this guy who sent a letter to every minor league baseball team to ask for free stuff and then he just received it all and then he just opened up the free stuff on camera and showed what each you know how generous
Starting point is 00:56:57 each minor league baseball team was and I don't want to do that. I'm not looking to just ask for free shit from companies, but it did remind me of like how much fun like letter writing campaigns can be and how much fun it can be to reach out to organizations that you don't expect would give you a response and interact with them in some way.
Starting point is 00:57:23 And I've also been thinking a lot about how we open up stuff on the break show that's old as fuck and there's always an address to a product or a phone number to something for sale that they're trying to hawk in addition to the cards or whatever. And it made me wonder if there's something we can do where we reach out to old businesses that clearly don't exist anymore and just see who responds, if any, and make it into some sort of a competition to see who can get the most responses or, you know what I mean? Like, is there something we could do that's fun and,
Starting point is 00:57:59 involves the US mails in some way. What if we try and talk to someone on the oldest phone number we can find? Oh, that's fun. That's cool. I love that idea. Yeah. What is the, like, how can we find these numbers?
Starting point is 00:58:14 Well, I feel like a lot of them end up just reused for other businesses, but imagine if you could find, like, an old Nintendo power number or something that actually still worked. Yeah. Like, that's kind of what I'm talking about is like advertisements in comic books
Starting point is 00:58:29 or like send off a thing to Pueblo, Colorado for a free catalog. Sure. Okay, I love the idea of it being kind of the spirit of it being like magazines, comics, that type of thing. Yeah, just like those, you know, the fucking record like the, what was it, Columbia
Starting point is 00:58:46 House? Like what happens if you email or if you send a letter to Columbia House in 2026 with a penny? Are you getting your Genesis tape for free? Probably not. Imagine there's one person that's still secretly working the Nintendo help desk. They just don't know it.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Like a Milton office base situation. They shut down the entire branch, but he's still there and he's, yeah. What Zelda level are you on? Oh yeah, you're going to need to fight four ogres and then go left and then. I love watching those old clips. I can't believe that was a real thing. Yeah, it makes me so happy. Yeah. I love
Starting point is 00:59:19 mm. Insane that that was the job. Because people now are more trained than ever to do that. Like the speed running community would be more experts about the games than the devs, I assume, in a lot of cases. Sure.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Maybe they should be running help lines. Oh, those are always fun videos too. I love when a dev team does a reaction video to like the fastest speed run of their game. And I'm just going like, oh shit, how is he? Oh, fuck. Oh, you can, oh, oh, man. Dude, they are crazy.
Starting point is 00:59:48 I agree. I think that's so funny. Like, when they see that and they're just like, I didn't, that's not how this is supposed, no, no, stop. Because it's just people break. their game and they are forced to watch it. I think that rocks.
Starting point is 01:00:01 Yeah. It's so good. I mean, that's how Red versus Blue happened. It was, Bungy went, holy shit, you're not supposed to do that with our game. That's clever. That's kind of clever. Sure. You know what?
Starting point is 01:00:12 Keep at it. You little fuckers. There's a panic in the speed run things that I enjoy where the first will be like, oh, but they don't, they don't got the orange key. How are they going to get to the boss? And then, like, they jump through six walls and just completely bypassed. the door and don't need it. It's great. All that stuff is awesome. I watched to run recently of a guy beating the entire Hitman trilogy of like the World of Assassination trilogy where the average time
Starting point is 01:00:38 per level was like 50 seconds or something. Oh my god. It's basically a lot of like putting an explosive on a breaching charge and flinging it across the map and then blowing up a roof that drops a chandelier on like a piece of the map that you can't even see yet. It's it's nuts shit. If that's your average play through, you must be in loading screens more than in the game. Yeah, it's got to be close.
Starting point is 01:01:02 I think I would be upset if I was the hitman and I was accomplishing the goals like that. Because he does a lot of international travel. He's going all over the place. Like, if I'm... It's a 14-hour flight
Starting point is 01:01:15 for a 40-second job. I think I'd be annoyed by that. Yeah, but it's only a 40-second job when you do it. For anybody else they hire, you know. What's the furthest you've traveled for the shortest thing in real life? Furthest I've traveled.
Starting point is 01:01:34 What do you mean? Like, I think mine would be, I went to Latvia, and I filmed a little nozzle. It was like a piece of wood with a nozzle on it, and it sprayed some water out. And then they were, and I filmed it.
Starting point is 01:01:48 And they were like, all right, that's it. Don't even know what it was for, but it was probably the most effort I've put into like the shortest amount of time working on something. Nothing that far, but I've definitely gone to L.A. a few times to a set to go walk in, be there for 45 minutes, and then turn around and go right back to the airport. Yeah, that's annoying.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Yeah. I drove an hour and a half for a burrito one time. Oh, that's awesome. That's worth it. That doesn't seem small to me. That seems pretty big. Did you get the burrito? Yeah, I mean, it was, it was good.
Starting point is 01:02:23 It was a really good burrito. Good. But, you know. It's worth it. I talked about it before where I took like an hour, 45 minute drive to see the moving moon and feeders and the bulb burnt out 80% of the way through. So I just haven't ever seen moon in its entirety. I mean, you flew to Texas to play Destiny once. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:42 But that was like a few hours. That's true. That was a, yeah. You know what it was good about that trip to? I don't know. I don't think you guys have ever heard this side of it was. I was moving at the same time is that. So I got to just completely skip out of a moving process because I was...
Starting point is 01:03:00 Oh my God. It's like what Jeff does every time in there. Got no kidding. Peking which, I need to plan some travel around May of next year. I was Nick moving again? Waka Waga Waga. Onion. So that was a really inconvenient time for you to come and play with us.
Starting point is 01:03:21 It sounds like a good movie. Yeah, it was. But like it made it kind of more convenient. for me in a personal level, selfishly. I came back and I just was in a new place. That was the video where where we were just basically gonna have you solo the raid, right?
Starting point is 01:03:40 No. Was that you helping us? There was a different one way we were watching you. There's one where I soloed it. Yeah, we've talked about that too. Yeah. I think we just really wanted an excuse to have Andrew down and the,
Starting point is 01:03:53 like the raid thing was the thin premise to do it more than anything. Yeah, that's fun. It was funny about the raid thing that sucked was we wanted to do a thing where, like, you guys pick me up from the airport, but that was the last thing that we filmed. And so we went to the airport, and the idea was for me to come down the escalator of, like, your arrival thing. There's no way to do that naturally.
Starting point is 01:04:17 So I just had to run up this large set of stairs. Well, you all just watched and it sucked. It was terrible. I remember. I remember. And then we held up, we held up the cardboard sign with your light level.
Starting point is 01:04:29 Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a funny bit, but like, I had to go up all these stairs and I didn't want to make you guys wait and I didn't want to take too long, so like trying to get up as fast. Can't suck.
Starting point is 01:04:39 Oh yeah, there's no escalator up there. Yeah, because there's no escalator to go up because it's the arrival thing. There's stairs for people to walk down so I had to go up all of the stairs. I think I'm sweaty in the video
Starting point is 01:04:52 because I had just run up a bunch of stairs as fast as I could. You're also in Austin where everyone's sweaty anyway. Yeah, absolutely. Like I'm sweaty in general, but like I was additionally sweaty because I had to watch and then feel like I'm being judged trying to rush up these stairs as fast as I can't. That is a serious flight of stairs too. Still there that flat of stairs.
Starting point is 01:05:19 It's steep. If it makes you feel better, I have no actual like visual memory of you. running up any stairs. You don't fucking remember when we went to pinballs. Like, I don't know there's nothing for me. I don't remember that part either.
Starting point is 01:05:29 I remember you. I remember you coming down and I remember Jeremy's sad face when we told him he was out. Yeah. Yeah. Kicked Jeremy out of the video. Probably like this
Starting point is 01:05:43 the best person to feel that team. Oh, 100%. Yeah. Definitely the best of us. Yeah. I missed, I missed that style of game. And I spent,
Starting point is 01:05:56 like, play the game until you're good enough to do the raid style game. Well, it's all back, right? Yeah, you didn't play Destiny 2 at all. It's all waiting for you. You can do that. Just no one's playing it anymore.
Starting point is 01:06:09 I would love to play. I'll play. I don't believe that. Well, we were for a while. We went back to Destiny 1 to try and get you that last Grimwa thing. That is true. Did you ever get that? No.
Starting point is 01:06:21 Missing 2, and they were the PlayStation exclusive guns. So in Destiny, there are these things held Grimwar cards for doing accomplishments in the game. I collected all of them but two. I guess technically three. There is one that they made, uh, that they, they gave the weapon to only one person who had like a medical type issue.
Starting point is 01:06:38 So it's just, it's impossible to get that one. But of the ones you can get, I'm missing two. And they were both PlayStation exclusive weapons. That didn't go into Destiny 1 until after Destiny 2 release. I was just never playing Destiny 1 at that time. And I've never had a reason to go back to it.
Starting point is 01:06:54 But I'm still missing this. Are they hard to get? Yes. Because they're exotic weapons. And one. One of them is in the pool that Zer can sell, but the other one is just a completely random drop. So we'd have to go back, but go back on PlayStation to get them? No, they're now on Xbox, but I would just have to grind out Xbox exotic Ngrams and just hope.
Starting point is 01:07:14 Yeah, we tried to do like the nightfall a few times. That seems like a stream we could do one day. Andrew's Grimwar grind. We could, but like I don't, you're not going to make a lot of progress in an hour. I might get one exotic endgrim. and I guess if it is the one, that's awesome that'd be a great moment. It sounds like a lot of progress.
Starting point is 01:07:34 We could always go longer than an hour as well. Yeah, we did five hours a Halo the other day. That's true. I like the idea of revisiting old game. Destiny was a great game. It was so much fun to play. It had the best gunplay of just about any game I think I've ever played.
Starting point is 01:07:50 And I haven't an excuse to go back and play it again. It seems like a great idea to me. What was that thing now about mythic achievements? Have you seen that? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:58 percent of the achievements you get a mythic achievement it's the Xbox equivalent of the platinum platinum trophy yeah it's a zero point achievement I might go back and try and be retroactively given them for all the games you've already done it on I think it's kind of annoying me in the games where I'm missing one I'm gonna have to go back now oh for sure a DLC does not impact it so it's just the base a thousand points is required for the mythic I wonder who among us has the least mythic achievements or will have and Gavin's only beaten 60 games so yeah so
Starting point is 01:08:33 yeah so I'm always to tell yet like have those achievements in the game yet if you're in the insider program I think you have access to it I don't think it's available to like every Xbox user currently so I don't think you can check but maybe
Starting point is 01:08:51 profile if not now soon I assume speaking of soon What's soon? The end of this podcast. Oh shit, we're over now. Yeah, it's coming. I can see it.
Starting point is 01:09:08 It's dark and I'm riding my little bike down the road and I can see the lights coming at me and the lights are the end of this podcast and they're coming bigger and bigger and bigger and it's almost to the point where it's all I can see and... Are you just end the soprano style? Jeff?
Starting point is 01:09:24 Don't stop. I mean, I don't hit Johnny. I think it's over. Onion. The last thing you ever hear.
