Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello and welcome to another episode of the Regulation Podcast. This is episode 126. My name is Jeff Ramsey with me. As always, Eric Bador, Andrew Pant and Nick Schwartz, Gavin Free in no particular order. How's everybody doing today? Hello. Double Co. Great.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Awesome. Fantastic. Can we start off with Gavin's coffee shop guests? Oh, yeah. So last week I posed a game to Gavin. each week I give him one chance to ask me who the person I saw at the coffee shop and avoided was that we both used to know
Starting point is 00:00:35 from our rooster teeth days. I will allow one question and then one submission each episode. Just so you know the last name you guessed was Aaron. Yes, it was not Aaron. I have some suggestions. I'm going to text you, Gavin, just to think about. So I'll think of it as well.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Okay. So, and I will allow one question per week to elucidate. Wow. He's throwing out two names to you that I was thinking about. Wow. Did? And now you can proceed.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Did they attend parties at your house? I would assume a few for sure, but I can't specifically remember seeing that person in my house. But I would be surprised if they weren't at some point. I hope that's helpful. I know it's not helpful, I guess, but it's not like a person we would have seen every... It's not like somebody you'd have been partying at my house every Friday night. But, you know, we put on a lot of... company parties at my house and there would be 150 people there. So I'm a guarantee this person was
Starting point is 00:01:29 probably there a few times. And they didn't used to live in Austin as something else we know. Because Jeff said he learned he lives in Austin. I learned he still lives in Austin. Oh, okay. Well, never mind. But he definitely didn't used to live in Austin. And I will answer this for Andrew just because it seems like there's some obfuscation there. This person didn't used to live in Austin and then eventually moved to Austin. We knew them before they lived in Austin and then, you furthered the relationship when they moved here. Got it. Roadblock.
Starting point is 00:02:02 I don't think Roadblock ever lived in Austin. Okay, that's your guess. Roadblock. Not even close. You've gone in the other direction. Not roadblock. Better like next week, bud. Bad guess. Way to go.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Wow. Yeah. You definitely rethink that direction. Okay. All right. Moving on. How's it been doing this week?
Starting point is 00:02:24 I said good. Dillipa. I'm dilly popping. It's a Thursday recording, so I'm dilly popping. And what does that mean, dilly popping? I'm just, you know, I'm bringing the full dill. Got the pop going on. I got pop in my step, pep in my step, whatever.
Starting point is 00:02:39 What is pep? You get the dilly pet pop? I got the dilly pet pop. What is pep? Are you dilly pep? Enthusiasm. Like that, like that extra. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:50 So it's not. A flare. It's like the physical embodiment of flair. Oh, I like that. If that's what pep is, what's pop? Pop is like when you jump a little higher. Are you jumping a little higher, Andrew? I haven't tested.
Starting point is 00:03:02 But you said you have pop, but you don't have pep. You know what? I don't know what I have at this point. All I know is that I'm Dilly Pop, baby, and I'm here. We're recording. It's a good day. I have so, we're either doing two today or we're not, but I have so many fucking notes. I have too many notes for two episodes somehow. I don't know how it happened.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Oh, I'm so glad that you have so many notes. The most thrilling thing that has happened in my week since we last recorded was I had a scheduled viewing appointment of a movie. It happened. I was so excited. I explained this to Jeff and Gavin before. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:41 There's a movie I wanted to watch that I looked and it was not available to rent online anywhere in Canada. It was, it claimed to be behind a weird soccer, subscription service, but I don't believe that. So it was either trying to get the subscription paying like $9.99 for a thing that I don't think is actually there. Or Plex has like a live TV thing and there happened to be a screening of it in like three days. So it's very excited. Gonna watch it.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Couldn't remember the last time I looked at like a TV guide type thing and made like an appointment viewing of I'm going to watch this show with commercial breaks and everything. we had to record that day I missed it was devastated just fine however there was a second running of it in the evening and I got to see it
Starting point is 00:04:33 and that movie is find me guilty with Vindiesel the movie in which Vind Diesel has hair I think maybe the only Vin Diesel hair movie in his career it's a wig it's a terrible looking wig but
Starting point is 00:04:48 Batman has hair I remember seeing the box for it as a kid and Blockbuster going, holy shit, Vin Diesel has hair? Whoa. What is this? Is it a wig or is it's hair? Oh, it's wig.
Starting point is 00:04:59 It's definite wig. It's the true story about a mobster who decides to defend himself in court. Yeah, that orange box of him sitting in the big comfy chair. And this came out in 2006. And the only way to watch this is by appointment viewing on this Plex live TV. At least in Canada. Maybe in the, I think I used a VPN to look in the US. I don't understand, like, you're talking about, uh,
Starting point is 00:05:24 you're talking about appointment viewing, but it's a, it's just a movie on Plex, so it's just like you, you just have to wait until someone is showing it somewhere. No, Plex has a live TV, like, streaming thing, where they have channels that are streaming all the time. And there's a Gravitus film or something. Gravitus films.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Gravitas, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I like Gravetus, though. Uh, you, you didn't mention that dinklage is in this. Whoa! he is he's great it's a surprisingly fun like it's cheesy it's a corny movie but it's kind of awesome
Starting point is 00:05:59 and it's nice seeing Vin Diesel just play a guy he doesn't really do that he's just a kind of like he's a he's a fun dumb mob guy and he does that very well I wonder why it's so hard to watch this movie I don't know
Starting point is 00:06:17 but it's it is really good it's the true story it's free on Amazon Prime and Pluto in the US and Zumo play whatever the fuck that is Whoa Zumo Dude we gotta get on Zuma In the US But yeah it's the true story about this monster who decided to defend himself
Starting point is 00:06:33 And what ended up being The longest running trial at that time at least It was like a 22 month court case And a lot of what I think is awesome about the movie Is apparently it opens And I haven't double fact check this or whatever but it says that essentially all of the courtroom dialogue is from transcripts of the actual court case
Starting point is 00:06:55 which I thought was cool. Fun movie. So was this worth setting aside some of your real life time to watch? Oh yeah, it was worth it. It was a lot of fun. It's a good movie. It's nice, as I said, to see Vin Diesel just play guy, just normal guy. It's fun to cosplay the 90s and before when you had to wait around for your television show to come on
Starting point is 00:07:16 every once in all too, isn't it? Oh, it's great. It eventizes it to a degree. It does. I'm actually, I'm gonna, I'm on the lookout for my next eventize because it makes it elevate the thing too. It's like, I'm, I gotta be excited for this. I remember there was nothing more exciting. And once you'd get like three days away and then it was two days.
Starting point is 00:07:36 And then one day, you'd just be like waiting for X-Files or Buffy to come on TV. Because it was just fucking, I'd be vibrating. I'd be so jazzed. For me, it was lost. Like, that's the last time I think I'd like. Yeah, me too. 100%. Oh, I'm going to get another hour of this mystery. Ooh. Yeah, I'm on the lookout for my next thing. It's funny. It's so available in the US.
Starting point is 00:07:57 When I looked at, I didn't see it on any of those platforms. How hard did you look? I was happy to see. I put the VPN on. I went to a website. I went on, I think, um, word of streaming or whatever. The important thing is, is that you got to watch it and then it was worth it and it was a great experience. It was. And I'm excited for the next one. Do you think you've seen every Vin Diesel movie now? That's what caused this Jeff. Oh. I was like, I wonder how many
Starting point is 00:08:26 Vin Diesel movies I've seen, and I pulled up his IMDB, and I had seen a shocking number of them to the point where I think there's like three Vin Diesel movies I haven't seen. So... Is that the highest accidental almost completion of anyone on earth, do you think? Oh, it has to be up there, right?
Starting point is 00:08:43 Now, here's the problem, and this is what annoyed me. This is what upset me about this experience. would you consider Guardians of the Galaxy of Vin Diesel movie? Sure. Yeah, I mean, he's a pretty significant character in it. He says one word and he doesn't do any of the mocap. Yeah, but he does it on stilts. So I think you've got to respect it.
Starting point is 00:09:03 It's a whole thing. I think it's still got to be in there. I wouldn't, here's the thing. It's hard to call it a Vin Diesel movie, but I wouldn't not call it a Vin Diesel movie. That's fair. I was just, I unfortunately, I had not seen Thor.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Love and Thunder in which the Guardians of the Galaxy are in it for the first 20 minutes and that's it and I hadn't seen Guardians the Galaxy 3. So I knocked those out. But the entire time I was like are these fucking Vindiesel movies? Do these count? I think if the name is on the poster you have to see it so you
Starting point is 00:09:33 definitely have to see Guardians 3 but if his name's not on the Thor Love and Thunder poster maybe you're okay. Interesting. Well I've already seen that unfortunately. I'm sorry for your loss. It was. good. Not your favorite film. Bad movie. No, it sucked. Have you watched I Am Groot, the TV show?
Starting point is 00:09:53 That doesn't count. It's not a movie. Thank God. Okay. I'm, my guidelines for this are theatrical releases. Or else there'd be like seven Guardians of the Galaxy, like Christmas special straight to DVD or Disney Plus things. Yeah, I've like four more. And, uh, I think they're mainly him being guys movies, which is fun. It's all like early work for him before he started to be the one of the one I'm in the one of the middle of is called Babylon AD and his character name is like Tarouk or something like that. So is he not a guy in that? Not really. He's a mercenary.
Starting point is 00:10:29 It's the most like late 2000 shot film I've ever seen. All of the movies of that time of that like genre all look the same. It's very funny. Which actor has the most not a guy guy appearances? Stallone maybe? I think Vin Diesel might rival. Not a guy guy. Not a guy.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Yeah, what does that, what does that mean, I guess? Sounds like a draft. Like animated or guy not guy? No. Not guy, guy draft? Like a person you would never encounter on the street. Oh. Like you walk anywhere and you're never going to find. Every person Arnold Schwarzenegger's ever played.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Yeah, no kidding. I mean, jingle all the way. He's a guy. All right, there's one. He's a jacked guy and jingle all the way, man. Well, yeah, but being Jack doesn't not make you a guy. Yeah, you know, Blaine. That's the nicest thing you've ever said about Blaine.
Starting point is 00:11:25 I'm going to tell him, you said that you compare him to Arnold Schwarzenegger, and he's going to, like, jump over his house. But Blaine's a huge guy. I think the ratio of not normal to normal on Schwarzenegger's got to be higher than anybody else. Wait, way, yeah. It has to. I'm trying to think. I'm trying to think of other normal. So should we do a not guy guy draft?
Starting point is 00:11:43 Guy not guy draft? Well, it's not guy, not guy, it's not guy guy. Not guy-guy draft. Yeah, not guy-guy. Not guy-guy? Yeah, not guy-guy. Or guy-not-guy, not guy. No, not guy-guy-guy? Because guy-not-guy-not-guy has to be...
Starting point is 00:11:59 Guy who's not a guy. Guy who's not a guy. Not guy guy guy. This is not a guy-goy-guy-g. This is not a guy guy. Is kindergarten cop? Is he a guy? I think he might be a guy in kindergarten cop. He's a super cop.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Is he a super cop? Okay. Yeah, he goes undercover and infiltrates a... Yeah. Well, yeah, but cops There's scales of cops Because Stallone and copland is guy There are scales of cops
Starting point is 00:12:26 But you can look at Arnold Schwarzenegger as a cop And know the scale's a little different for him You know what I mean? Well, it depends on the contents of the action Of that officer in the film I mean, the whole point of kindergarten cop Was to put him a bunch With a bunch of little kids
Starting point is 00:12:39 Because he's so a not guy guy Yeah Like that's kind of the point Visually of the whole thing Yeah, but once again, we're focusing on the muscles here. Right. That's what makes him above and beyond not a guy
Starting point is 00:12:52 guy guy. But they are jacked guys. There are jacked guys, but we're talking about guys, I don't run into people who look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. But you could ever. You're never going to run into Riddick. Yeah, you can run into anyone. I'm saying that he's the least guy. He's the
Starting point is 00:13:08 least guy that I run into. He's the kind of guy I run into the least probably. Yeah, if you see that guy, you know that guy. You recognize a guy. You can't Holy shit. That's not a, that's a not a guy guy right there. That guy is different. That guy's huge.
Starting point is 00:13:23 He stands out. You're never running into Dominic Toretto. Well, you're also never running into the fucking Terminator. You're never running into Commando. You're never running into Reddoll. There's all kinds of dudes that Arnold Schwarzenegger's played. You're not running into. Maybe if you're lucky you're running into kindergarten cop.
Starting point is 00:13:39 But 99 out of 100 Arnold Schwarzenegers are fucking superheroes. I feel like we're arguing three different things than once. Well, that's what I said. I don't understand what guy, not guy, guy, guy, guy is. Jeff, I'm agreeing with you that Schwarzenegger has a very low percentage of guy guy. What I'm arguing with Eric is how, like, I'm trying to figure, I'm trying to explain to him what this means. Hang on, hang on. I think a person can be so physical, but in Eric's defense, I think a person can be so physically different that they can't be a guy guy.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Right? They just can't. I'm not putting... The dude that plays Jack Reacher that worked with Rooster Teeth. I'm never gonna see that guy in person again. But when I saw him that one time, I was like, holy shit. That guy could never be an accountant.
Starting point is 00:14:26 It's a big sexy guy. Big sexy guy. I like Andrew's qualifying statement, though, if it's like it's someone that you'll never like walk past in the street. But Andrew, that's everyone to you. That's true. I thought you're on my side here.
Starting point is 00:14:42 And they're fucking taking a dig. No, I'm not. I'm on your side. I'm doing, I'm on your side, like you're on my side. I don't know if I like you on my side. Alan Richardson's on my not guy,
Starting point is 00:14:54 guy draft list. 100%. 100%. He's so big. You can't draft people. What? Drafting characters. We've been saying,
Starting point is 00:15:04 okay, you're a fucking lunatic. We have been saying Arnold Schwarzenegger for the last 10 minutes. Have you not been fucking listening? as I've been yelling, you're never going to meet Riddick on the street. You're never going to meet Bloodshot on the street. I'm sorry, and these old people? And that's why I said you're never
Starting point is 00:15:22 going to meet Terminator on the street or Commando on the street. I'm not on Andrew's side anymore. Yeah, no. I've been clearly speaking characters. But you said you were watching, you were watching all the Vin Diesel movies, and it was interesting to watch him in a movie where he's just a guy. Yeah, so I would draft that character,
Starting point is 00:15:38 the character of the guy. So I was saying which, which actors had the most instances of he's not a guy. And I said Arnold Schwarzenegger, and that's, and people argued that for some reason. Not argued. I was just trying to think of examples. How would we do this? How would we do this if it was characters? Pick one, Riddick, pick two, Dominic Torreto, pick three. It's real fucking easy. I mean, that still works though, Gavin. It's still fun. It's the same thing. It's just different.
Starting point is 00:16:07 It's multiple ways in which you can do the same idea. Both ideas are great. I love both ideas. I don't think Dominic Toretto can be a guy. I think the stuff he's pulled off since the fifth movie makes him a superhero. So he's trying, wait, so we're trying to pick people who are the closest to being guys but aren't guys, or we're trying to pick guys who aren't guys. I don't know what you're talking about at this point. You've been lost in the woods and you're pulling me in. You're putting a bread trail down of the forest of confusion and I'm walking in with you and I don't
Starting point is 00:16:39 know where I am anymore. Andrew, surely if we're doing character, The pool is like a million times bigger than an actor. When have we ever cared about the pool? You love a small pool. How are you back on the pool problem? Pool is everything. What if we did both?
Starting point is 00:16:54 We could do both. I'm happy doing both. So not guy guy and not guy real guy. My first pick is going to be the alien queen from alien. Definitely not someone I would walk down the street and meet. Am I warm? Am I warmer now, Andrew? Or am I cold?
Starting point is 00:17:12 No. No, it would be now if the actor who played the alien queen who predominantly played alien queens then played a lawyer, you could pick the lawyer. But we're not picking actors, I thought. You're picking the character of the lawyer, I think. Sir, one second. We'll look at Schwarzenegger's IMD to make a determination on if there's any other guy, not guys. I mean, Hercules in New York is probably not guy.
Starting point is 00:17:36 I still don't know what we're picking. Conan definitely not a guy. I got a question for Eric. Commander, not a guy. Yeah, yeah. What's up, man? I'm posting a short clip. I'm wondering what you think of this new device.
Starting point is 00:17:51 It's a watch. Oh, God. Oh, oh. No. It's a watch that has a inflatable blood pressure sleeve inside. That gave me like the chills. The portable horror movie. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Oh, no. Oh, no. I look so much better, though, Eric. Yeah, surely that's going to be less scary. It's just more compact. It's so much smaller. It's the whole time, though. It would never stop.
Starting point is 00:18:18 I could feel like my heartbeat and my fingers. I don't think it's constantly inflating. I think it's whatever you want. Yeah, no, I understand. I get that, but I'm saying when it inflates, that's what would happen. And at any time, what if it just happens? What if I'm just walking down the street and all of a sudden I have to jump into oncoming traffic to get this to stop?
Starting point is 00:18:37 I, like, oh, no. Oh, no. Is he a guy in twins? Yeah. Yeah, he's a guy. There might be two. He's a guy. I think he's a guy in twins.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Wait, but he's not, but he is a guy in that. Oh, he is a guy. See, I'm in the thing of confusion now with Eric. But you're the one who said, you're telling me I'm wrong. I don't understand. It's not a guy guy draft. Thanks, Nick. I don't know why I'm following Eric's rope here.
Starting point is 00:19:10 I'm going, Nick, I'm grabbing your rope. You keep, you lead. You lead, yeah, you ask questions, but I'm getting confused because I'm fighting three different people at once about slightly different arguments. Are you swinging red right now? How many ropes are on the ground, Andrew? Yeah, grab a red. I'm swinging red. I'm not so good.
Starting point is 00:19:28 I'm good. I'm sent, zen. Oh, fucking hell, man. This is brought to you by Keeper, a service I use in love. Today we're talking about passwords. Starting point is 00:21:34 Andrew, when was your last hate that? Oh, you know what? I could tell you where my last hate nap was. And will it be today? Won't be today. I'm in a great mood today. Let me tell you the exact day. He's got pop and pep.
Starting point is 00:21:47 He's good, man. He's got Dillie Pep. When do you think my last hate nap was when I look it up? Oh, August the 4th. August 11th. August the 4th. Any other guesses? August 11th.
Starting point is 00:22:07 September 11th. Cool. I'm so mad about the bodyguard stream. May 6th. Wow. 2026. Oh. Was my last hate nap?
Starting point is 00:22:21 Was that a recording day? But I've spin zoned it. I've spin zoned the hate. That was a Saturday. You were hate naping? Oh no. That's June. Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:22:33 I don't think anyone's going to guess why I had a hate nap on May 6th. You were hate napping on a Wednesday. Hate naping on a Wednesday. Whoa. Was it? Sport related? Was it hooky related?
Starting point is 00:22:45 Sport related. Was sport related? Five, six. Ooh. Hockey? Was hockey related? What was going on with the Toronto Blue Jays? Not tough.
Starting point is 00:22:54 I'm going to fuck about that. Stupid bird team. Andrew, please. I thought there was going to be more guys. You guys suddenly stopped investigating. It's related. It's related to. To your hockey team, the Vancouver
Starting point is 00:23:13 Connucks. It was the NHL draft lottery. Oh, of course. It was the NHL draft lottery. Connects have never won the draft. They were the worst team in the league, had the best odds, didn't expect them to win. It was fine. I actually wasn't necessarily thrilled
Starting point is 00:23:30 about who the projected first overall was. Did they actually drop the character instead of a player? Top two. What? What? I was trying to talk and you started talking over me so I didn't hear you. Gavin, that was fantastic. That's not. going to get the credit. That was really good. No, I want to hear the credit. I want to hear it.
Starting point is 00:23:45 He didn't hear it. He didn't hear it. I said it. Did they accident? Oh, I cut it. What did I say? Eric, you want to give a read on what Gavin said? Yeah, did they accidentally draft a character instead of a real guy? And I thought that was very funny. I mean, that's happening in the NFL, but, uh... Well done, Gavin.
Starting point is 00:24:04 That's a great joke. Thanks, Nick. Buffalo Sabres a long time ago drafted a fake player as a joke. And it, like, made it through and got hype about it. Anyway. I was very excited for, I came to terms with the Canucks not winning the lottery, that's fine. But I was very excited about the Maple Leafs having to give up their pick and they ended up winning the lottery. And I was furious about that.
Starting point is 00:24:24 I considered all possibilities of negativity. Oh, I remember this. I do, I remember that day. I remember that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was so pumped because they were almost certainly going to lose their pick and it went for them. Yeah. And I was so mad.
Starting point is 00:24:40 Almost like it's really, it's really. It's strange that it happened, too, because you weren't expecting it to happen, and it's almost like an organization got their hands in on it to make sure it win a certain way for a certain team, right? It's just... That doesn't happen, Eric. Strange. It's just strange, I guess, is what I'm saying. But here's the thing. I'm spin zone now.
Starting point is 00:25:00 I think that player is going to suck ultimately, so I'm kind of happy about it. I've done a full reversal. I'm happy he ended up in Toronto. I think it'll be a disaster long term. I'm all for it. It's awesome. Poison pill. Yeah, he's going to suck.
Starting point is 00:25:11 it's gonna be great. Hell yeah. But that was my last hate nap and I haven't had a hate nap. I think the last two hate naps I had were hockey related. Oh. It's been a while since I had like a real hate nap
Starting point is 00:25:23 and the one I talked about before was also hockey related. Also, draft lottery related. I need to stop watching the draft lottery. Is what I guess the takeaway is. Maybe it's bad for you. It clearly is bad for me. I don't think it's not good.
Starting point is 00:25:36 No. Hey, before we get too much further into this podcast, we should mention that This is, I believe, the first podcast to come out during the pizza era. We are recording it on October 1st, so today is the first day for us. You're listening to it on the 8th, I guess, or later. So you've already been in pizza mode for about a week, but this is the official start in episode, FYI.
Starting point is 00:26:02 So good luck, everybody. Best of luck, remember it's not a race and that there is a spirit to this. Yep. What is the current count? My count zero. Zero's across the board. I thought about ordering a pizza last night to have in my fridge to start the morning with some pizza and have Gavin's go, oh, breakfast pizza.
Starting point is 00:26:21 I had pizza last night for dinner to pre-game. That nice. I want to give a shout out to a post that I saw this morning on the regulation subreddit. This is from WTF. It's Corey 57. He said first slice of pizza Monday 1.30 lunch. Hell yeah. This is my favorite guy.
Starting point is 00:26:38 This is my favorite guy. This is my fucking guy. This is my kind of fucking guy. You can see the pizza in his mouth. Oh, yeah. He took a bite. He took a pick. Corey is my favorite member of the community as of this photo.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Yep. It's pretty good, man. Pretty good. Way to go, dude. That's going to be our cover of the episode. Yeah. I left, I think I left a comment that just said, like, this is a white can monster guy. Like, 100%.
Starting point is 00:27:04 This is. And that's coming from a couple of white can monster guys. This is. This is a true blue regulation listener right there. So this is pretty good. While we're giving shoutouts, can I give a shout out to one of us? Sure.
Starting point is 00:27:20 I looked at my notes when I was compiling them all this morning. And so many of my notes are related to Nick. Yeah. Just from this week alone. And I want to mention that if you're not aware, October Nick is the best thing that happens to regulation each year, I think. he has been so wildly entertaining already just this week alone with the two streams that we did, the midday last of a stream, and then the Falcon horror stream.
Starting point is 00:27:48 I cannot, he gifted us with such amazing quotes as, they can't fight me all, which he said completely seriously while he was fighting off zombies and didn't understand or recognize the lunacy of that in the moment. He gave us a blood garage that I, you've not lived until you've seen Nick stand in a garage on on garage stairs going like the lead into the house covered and surrounded by just pools of blood and chunks of dog while Nick counts the chunks to determine how many dogs he made out of one dog. Oh, hundreds. He was, we told, we were to explain to Jordan Sweers how Nick made the blood garage and how he's
Starting point is 00:28:33 finding new interesting ways to kill dogs. He died 56 times so he could take out 100 dogs. That's my understanding. He set so many alive dogs on fire and then just laughed maniacally. It was wild. And the thing is, you can easily see it as a friend of the show, How I Figure, has made an incredible compilation video that I'm sharing with you guys right now. If you want to look at my screen here.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Yeah, please, let's see. It's a baseball for those just listening. In fact, it's baseball. How long until Gavin recognizes what this is? Oh, it's basketball. Oh, it's basketball. Oh my god, Nick, you hate dogs. No, I love dogs.
Starting point is 00:29:26 Jesus. This is so quick. This is only the other day. Thank you. an incredible way to do. That's great. Oh, God. Anyway, really appreciate,
Starting point is 00:29:52 I really appreciate October Nick. And if you are, if you get a chance to catch any October Nick content, I highly recommend you do it because the man is endlessly entertaining and he gave us front name, center name, back name, back name. Oh, dude, the front name and back name.
Starting point is 00:30:08 You guys are explaining this. Oh no, that was Gavin, right? Yeah, but it came out of your stream. Yep. Oh, yeah. It was all inspired by you. Nick hits it so hard in October that we have to have no Nick November to make up. Yeah, we have to. We have no choice. The,
Starting point is 00:30:22 the front name was Gavin trying to say first name, I think. Yeah. And said front, oh God, the blood garage. Oh God, the blood garage. Look at all the dog pieces. Yeah, Gavin was explained like, what's the front name? And we're like, what the fuck? And then figured out front name back name and then really landed on center name, which felt really good for me. Yeah. Like seven and there were fram and fram and frown names as well. Yeah. It was, it was pretty good. Nick such a good job. We did the Falcon event also where it was, was it called like the floor above? Yeah. That sounds right. That was, oh boy. I don't know. I don't know that I watch someone more capable continually decide to be less capable that I like it was just watching. It's like Nick
Starting point is 00:31:06 blink and then hit the button and he would just sit there and it's like hit what are you doing? Like what is happening? It was pretty incredible. A lot of talking to my ear. When Nick has to make a quick decision, it's always interesting. Yeah. Oh yeah. Absolutely. Oh, it's so great. Anyway, shout out to you, Nick. I really appreciated you this week. Thank you for being endlessly entertaining in the month of October.
Starting point is 00:31:28 I love it. Let's do more. He's not wearing the mask. I agree. Not green. Totally agree. And he's running out of time. Okay, all right. Presses on. Yesterday. Yesterday he wore the mask and there was spiders in it.
Starting point is 00:31:44 There were spiders in the mask? There was one spider, but it scared the shit out of me. I would imagine. Yeah, I don't want to. I think it's, uh, I guess what? The worst things you could find in your mask when you put it on. Sorry, Jeff. Number one, I'd say would be snake. Number two would probably be scorpion. I agree.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Yeah. Yeah. And then spider might be three. Black would, uh, or brown recluse. That would stuff. This is very real. I'm sharing my screen with you again. I'm very sorry, but this is, this is very quick. This was in the middle of, We had a, what we think might be a sewer issue at the 100% eat house yesterday. So we filmed the video explaining, hey, we have to postpone this live stream. Nick put the mask on, felt a spider and ran away, and then felt a spider again. And then here he realizes that the spider might have come from the mask. And then watch him take care of the business.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Oh, no. You had to de-mask. You know that serious when he's demasking. Oh my god, that's like a luchador getting demasch. Yeah, that was... Oh my. I'm surprised you guys posted. The Sting!
Starting point is 00:32:52 Yeah. Your covers blown. We were talking the other day about that clip of when everyone caught fire with ethanol, but no one could see the flame. It looks exactly like that. Nick, were you on fire with ethanol? No, no, no, no, no. Just scared.
Starting point is 00:33:05 I don't blame you. Oh, man, did you get bit at all? No, no, no bites. No bites. One harmless spider. But it made me think twice about the matter. mask, that's for sure. Hey, I have a question for you guys. If you haven't seen Monday's break show, we opened up some mail and we received something really cool, I believe from Mr.
Starting point is 00:33:23 Fador mustache again. This time we received a physical Greg idol, get out of Greg free idol. Eric, I don't know if you have a picture of that. I don't, other than your thumbnail that you made. Where did I get that from? I took that from the episode. So I don't know if you can tell from that, but that's the front of a car. The idol, the physical idol is a half of a car set in bronze. And then it says, get out of Greg Free Idol on the front. It's the front half. That's actually, honestly, if we're, if we're being completely and totally honest,
Starting point is 00:33:59 it's about 35% of a car. It's not quite half the car. But it's the front 35% of a car. And it's meant to, yeah, tariffs. It's meant to be, it's meant to be given to the person who currently, owns the Get Out of Greg Free Card. And we don't, based on the discussion we had on the break show, I don't know who that is. Oh, right.
Starting point is 00:34:20 I think it was Andrew, but he used it. Yeah, I used it. We determined you used your Get Out of Greg free card. There's no currently Get Out of Greg's in play. I don't think there's a Greg in play. Yeah. Okay, so the Idol is up for grabs. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:34:31 So the Idol is in play. So it's findable? No, the Get Out of Greg free Idol is. It's one usually. Got it. That's usually one. in a competition. The idol idol,
Starting point is 00:34:45 which has been played and is not back in circulation yet. So Gavin, please stop looking. Yeah. We'll have to, I had to fix my printer.
Starting point is 00:34:53 It's been held up because my printer was broken so I couldn't print out the rules. What if, what if whoever wins the most drafts this year wins the Greg card or the Greg Idol? I love it.
Starting point is 00:35:04 That's the most, Andrew idea you've ever had where you're just trying to get yourself the win. That's what if we just give it What if we vote on who's the most British at the end of the year? You don't even know if Gavin's won the most. I haven't won any this year, really.
Starting point is 00:35:19 I'm doing terribly this year. Who is it up to if that's, because that's the audience. That's all Gavin. I have to review the polls to get an answer back on that. Jeff, just put it into this right now. Put it into, just say no to this. What are we doing?
Starting point is 00:35:32 I think, I think no, and here's the reason why. I don't think we should wait four months to put this in play. I think that there's got to be a way we can get it in. to somebody's hands sooner than that. So I'm just bringing it up so that we can begin the conversation two months. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:35:47 Okay, fine. One month is this September, October, October, November, December. It's three months. So you're both, three months. Split the difference. So.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Holy shit. If anybody has any ideas other than waiting three months and then trying to figure out the ambiguity of who the audience thinks, one, all of our drafts,
Starting point is 00:36:12 I'm, you know, speak up, I guess. If not, I don't care. I just wanted to bring it up. If it's not draft related, what if we had a draft cup? Oh, a draft cup is a good idea. I really like the draft cup.
Starting point is 00:36:27 I like a draft cup. A draft cup. I'm not opposed. Listen, if nobody has a better idea than the draft, which I don't think is a bad idea. We got to think on it. We got to think on it.
Starting point is 00:36:36 We don't have to come up. It doesn't have to be handled today. I just, I feel like I should walk it back a little. little bit, because I don't want to be disrespectful to Gavin's idea. I'm not opposed to Gavin's idea of doing it at the end of the year. I just feel like we could get it into play earlier than that. 90 days.
Starting point is 00:36:50 It's a third, it's a quarter of a year, you know. But, I'm happy to do it that way if there's no better way. Okay. Gavin currently is pretty skewed. According to Nick, Gavin's got three wins. One for Eric, one for Andrew, one for Nick. Whoa. Whoa. Who could have seen this coming?
Starting point is 00:37:07 Wow, wow, wow. Whoa. I withdraw my idea. No, no, it's already been. No, no, because you can still win the cup. We're not opposed to... Yeah. Be the first time England's won a cup in a while, I believe. Get his ass.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Ouch. 1969 was a long time again. I'm on your side. Bavam. God. Ouch. That was burn of the month, I think. That was pretty good.
Starting point is 00:37:38 It was visible, too. The first of October was still. Hell yeah. Andrew, Andrew gets the bronze calamine lotion for that burn. Oh.
Starting point is 00:37:48 God damn. What's your, what's your gas news, Jeff? What's the latest? Oh, shit. I forgot about that. Oh, it sucks. Usually it's different kind of gas for Jeff,
Starting point is 00:38:00 but this time it's house gas. Yeah, I guess, have we set up? On the Monday meeting. It's fine. It's fine. I don't have any right now.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Oh, you don't have it. I'm not going to have any for a while, but I'll get it back eventually. I'm currently, what's today? October 1st? I'm currently scheduled to get my gas lines replaced October 13th. So hopefully, by October 14th, I'll get the city to unred tag me and turn my gas back on. So barely two weeks from now. Lucky day.
Starting point is 00:38:32 I mean, what do you use gas for? That being said. Cars. That being said. I'll answer that question. Okay, I'll definitely answer that question, Andrew. That being said, I'm going to be out of town for a little while. We scheduled it this way because there's no point in getting it fixed while we're not here.
Starting point is 00:38:47 Then we'd have to have somebody come and baby it's a whole thing. So we're just going to get a fixed. Wouldn't we have to? And we're going to get home and have a couple of days because it's on the weekend. So it is a little annoying, but it's not as bad as it sounds. We just didn't want to try to cram it in while we're trying to get ready to go out of town. Sure. Also, to answer Andrew's question, it could be way worse.
Starting point is 00:39:04 The only things in my house that run on gas are the dryer, the furnace, and the oven. and so don't need the furnace right now the dryer's annoying oven is annoying but it's not the end of the one so your hot water is not gas no my hot water is electric so I am lucky there why did you say car
Starting point is 00:39:23 because cars run on gas yeah he's thinking of things that run on gas yeah lawn mowers cars that kind of stuff I mean you don't own a car Gavin so I get I get the confusion well you have Jeff's car but you don't drive
Starting point is 00:39:37 it is a gas car though oh man they're not all batteries I want to ask you guys another question this has been discussed a little bit in stream and stuff but the other day
Starting point is 00:39:55 I landed on an idea to create a regulation alphabet A is for Apple P is for pencil okay C is for C PAP B is for Dilbaud or diverticulitis E is for egg you know
Starting point is 00:40:06 Eric had a fantastic idea to make G for Jeff and then also G for Kevin. It's G for Jeff on one page and then you turn the page and it's G for Gavin. B for B for Bavril. And so I was starting to put it together and that got me wondering, first off, we should do this together. Should we do it an episode or is that its own piece of supplemental? No, it should be an alphabet draft.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, where we all bring our different ideas to the table? Yeah, I think everyone kind of like makes their own alphabet and then you can draft the letters maybe for what you think should be on there. Then we decide, we argue and decide. Yeah, maybe. I like that idea. So I proposed to you guys the regulation alphabet draft
Starting point is 00:40:48 or ranking. I love it. We should do that soon. I also, while I was doing it, I was kind of just running through all the letters just to get ahead of it and stumbled on X and started thinking about how it's unfortunate there aren't more words
Starting point is 00:41:01 that start with X. And then thinking about all the words that should start with X that don't. And that got me. thinking about zebras and how wouldn't it be better if a zebra started with an X and then the stripes were X's on the zebra? Can't we, can't we island of Dr. Moreau that?
Starting point is 00:41:17 I know we've already done that draft, but can't we like, can't we get there, like through selective breeding? Can't we turn a zebra into an X zebra that has X stripes? And why haven't we done that yet? The eight and a half billion people on the planet. Why hasn't anybody figured that out yet? That seems important. That is a great point.
Starting point is 00:41:34 Are there any photos? Has anyone done this? Does zebra stripes have a touch? No. I don't think... Not in this iteration. No. But I did look up zebra with an X.
Starting point is 00:41:47 What the fuck? Is this? Oh. Oh. It's a three-wheel car. That's a zebra? It's a three-wheel car? It's like a reliant robin.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Yeah. What? What? I was flipping over in top gear. Can that be my... first car, almost the second car, I guess. I just...
Starting point is 00:42:10 Oh, wow. They, uh, they zebraed out the zebra. Yeah. That's the zebra. That's the car right there. Wow. Wow, how weird. How did you buy one?
Starting point is 00:42:24 I don't know. Let me see. Uh, zebra solutions. And this is for printers. Nope. Zap. Zebra. They made 1,500 units.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Yeah, there's not a lot of these, and they are top speed, 40 to 45 miles an hour. We don't want Gavin going that fast. That's good. That's so safe for Gavin. Yeah, we got to keep that dude in bubble out. 40 miles an hour in this thing must feel like 100 miles an hour. It must feel so fucking scary. It must feel like going 15 miles an hour on a bicycle where you just go, I shouldn't be doing this.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Or like when you bomb a too steep hill on a skateboard, your trucks aren't tight enough. Oh, yeah. You know, I bet that front end gets real wobbly. Yep. Wild. We were talking about letters and what it should be, and Nick threw in there beef or butter.
Starting point is 00:43:19 And I wanted to bring this on the episode, because I'm confused and concerned, I suppose. Yeah. We're doing, at the time of this recording, we haven't recorded it yet. We will be tomorrow. The Gavin can't believe it's not butter challenge Where he tried
Starting point is 00:43:36 Can Gavin believe it's not butter? Yeah, can Gavin believe it's not butter? Which is an idea we had a while ago And we're going to get to it. I'm excited. I think this will be a lot of fun. Does Gavin believe it's butter Is the name that I have written down.
Starting point is 00:43:51 It is Gavin trying butter And trying margarine to determine if he knows what it is If it's butter or margarine. and then we brought up like, oh yeah, let's do this. And then he brought up like, oh, yeah, because I hate butter. But like a week after we all agreed. And the album was like, yeah, I'll do it taste.
Starting point is 00:44:10 That's sure, let's do it. It was in the meeting on Monday. Yeah. Right, but then you're like, yeah, yeah, yeah, especially he's like, I hate butter. And it's like, I don't think anybody knew that. And then you said, no, that's like the reason we're doing this. It's like, I don't think that's- I didn't say it's the reason I'm not going to know.
Starting point is 00:44:27 What? Like, I'm not going to be able to tell the difference. No. No, you said both. Yeah. You said both. Yeah. You definitely said the other thing.
Starting point is 00:44:34 Mm-hmm. What was the other thing? Jesus Christ. That the reason we're doing this is that you hate butter. Yeah, the point was that you thought we were doing this to you because you hate it for the reaction. But you never told anybody you don't like butter. Right. I've known you over half your life and I don't know you don't like butter.
Starting point is 00:44:53 But wouldn't everyone else hit be up to tell the difference? The whole point is that you're not supposed to be able to tell the difference though, Gavin. But what you guys? tell the difference. No, you said that you could tell the difference. Right, you did say that. Oh. I don't know if I could, maybe. I don't really care if I can or not.
Starting point is 00:45:10 I've tried a butter alternative. I'm sure I could, but it's less interesting than Gathen who apparently hates butter. Who apparently hates butter? Oh yeah, I'm not a big butter guy. How? How do you cook? What do you not like about butter? The texture.
Starting point is 00:45:27 If it's the text is bad. And also, when it's gone, like when it's been melted into something, I don't like the smell. Spell can be pretty good. What? So you're not a cookie guy then, huh? A cookie guy. Well, those are sweet.
Starting point is 00:45:44 He's not typically a sweet guy. Butter's a big part of cookies. It's a big part of a lot of things. Yeah, a big part of most of the ones you eat probably. Yeah, it's a lot of stuff. I was trying to look up if it was the most universally like thing. couldn't find a good source of that. It might be the most food glue of all food.
Starting point is 00:46:06 Definitely food glue. I feel like it's more obvious in some foods though. Like when I can see the thickness of butter, I don't want to eat it. What about this? Thickness of butter. You got a big potato in front of you. You buttering that thing? Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:22 Yeah. Nah. What? Really? Crazy. You sour creaming? No, because it'll start getting all in my bean sauce. What?
Starting point is 00:46:30 you're in North America. Overseas, this is a different, the baked potatoes is a different game. Right. Do you only eat baked potatoes overseas? I've had them on this side of the seas. And what do you put on these seats? With beans,
Starting point is 00:46:43 I guess they're home potatoes. Wow. Home potatoes. Yeah, because, like, there's no restaurant that's going to give you baked beans on your potatoes in America. Oh, no, I've never had a potato at a restaurant.
Starting point is 00:46:55 That's what I'm saying. They're home potatoes. You never been to a steakhouse and got a potato? No. I mean, I've had potatoes with stuff, but not like... Didn't we get baked potatoes in Vegas when we were all eating dinner together at that 70s restaurant? You just didn't have any? I doubt it to get it.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Eric, let's take this little bitch to Rudy's and get him the barbecue baked potato. Oh, that's. Can we do that? Oh, my God. Nick's going to go crazy, too? Oh, my God. Let's go have a baked potato off at Rudy's. Oh, my God. Every piece of content is me in butter at the moment. I'm okay with that. Well, I don't think what they're describing isn't going to be like a traditional butter.
Starting point is 00:47:33 You're not going to taste the butter. It's going to be filled with, yeah, barbecue. It's going to be filled with chopped beef for biscuit or something. It's like smoked baked potatoes. It's so good. Your dick's going to get so hard. You're going to love it. But what's the point in having butter if you don't even taste it?
Starting point is 00:47:47 Well, it's a key ingredient in a lot of things. It changes the, and it enriches the texture of things. It fluffs it up, makes it smoother. It also adds a velvety flavor. to things? I don't know, man. I don't... It's butter's like the least offensive thing on earth to me. It's hard for me to... There are certain combinations, though, I agree with you, Gavin, that I don't like butter involved. Yeah, I don't like butter with my cereal.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Butter cereal's bad. Some places will, like, butter the bun if you're getting, like, a hot dog or a hamburger, I don't like that. I love that. Oh, but if it's grilled, though? Grilled buttered bun. Oh, you know what? If the bun is grilled, that does change things for me. And it makes the bun golden. The butter is what gives it the beautiful color. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. Gavin, how do you make a grilled cheese? Gavin, Gavin, when was the last time you made a grilled cheese?
Starting point is 00:48:38 It's been a few years. What? Have you ever had, for a guy who loves pasta so much, have you ever had buttered noodles? Oh, Gavin! No. Well, unless the butter was already on them when I bought them. Man, that's a staple for kids in America. Just fucking boring, plain-ass buttered noodles.
Starting point is 00:48:59 How do you feel about peanut butter? Oh, I love it. Is that butter in that? It's in the name, dude. It is in the name, but texturally, I don't think it's super different. I think it is. I think it is. Smooth?
Starting point is 00:49:16 Smooth to butter? Smooth to butter. I think it's a lot thicker. It is thicker. And it's even sandier, even though it's smooth peanut butter. You don't think about it, but in comparison to butter, I think you'd notice the sandy, like the grit. Okay. Fair enough.
Starting point is 00:49:31 butter? So has this been, has this been like a lifelong thing where you don't like butter? Or is this like a thing you developed? I think I've always, if I've had the option to add butter to something, I would just never do it. Do you think, have you ever told anybody or is this something you've kept secret? I don't think it's something I even realized. Does your mom know you don't like butter? No, I don't think so. Does Meg?
Starting point is 00:49:52 Oh, that's a great question. Do you, I'm so... Text her right now. Do you think... Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, what if I text her. Don't text her. What if I text her. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:02 I'm gonna text her right now, okay, hold on, Meg. She'll answer you, yeah. I'm gonna say, uh, what are your, uh, impressions? What are you? What are you talking? What? What are you talking? What the fuck are you?
Starting point is 00:50:17 What should I say to her? Does Gavin like butter? Yeah. Yeah, sure. She likes it. Right, but you're you. 98% of the world does. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:28 No, I'm saying, like, I know whether she likes or not. So maybe she'll know whether I like it or not. Yeah. But it feels like you don't know if you like it or not. All right. Do you think Gavin likes butter? This is important for podcast. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Okay. Also, can you ask if she's on Andrew's side? Also, are you on Andrew's side? Well, I keep saying, but I just want to really get Gavin's response. Big potato butter I'm so fascinated by because it melts. So there's no texture. It's just potato texture. Yeah, but he said he doesn't like the smell when it melts to something, right?
Starting point is 00:50:58 He doesn't like the smell of butter. Do you not like the flavor? of butter as well? Well, your point was before that it was on popcorn. You don't like the smell of... Yeah, if it's like melted butter juice all in popcorn, the smell makes you want to gag. Yeah, and that's a different smell than a potato smell with butter. That's fake butter. It's so good. It's not, it's not pre-melted butter. Well, it depends. In the US, it's fake butter. In Canada, it's a real butter. All right, I have an answer. Okay. Interesting. without knowing any sides
Starting point is 00:51:29 this is from Meg by the way Meg says without knowing any sides Gavin doesn't like butter a normal amount he will have a little but not a normal person amount on any bread he thinks my love of butter
Starting point is 00:51:40 which is a normal Texan amount is too much which is missing wow you nailed it I mean she really laid it out there and I feel like that's a great answer from Meg I think she came out and did a great job yeah yeah yeah I would love
Starting point is 00:51:54 to have Gavin be like a food ref and to just be like, that's too much better. You gotta stop. You gotta stop there. Well, you know, there's that grid of like different darknesses of teas and like different burntnesses of toasts. And you like pick. Sure. Yeah. Uh-huh. I think my butter pick,
Starting point is 00:52:13 if there was different amounts of butter on a bit of toast, would be the first one. Oh, like it would be like the, it would be like the light, like so. The light, you can barely tell it's on there. Like where it's, if I'm having any. Where if we're looking at like the tea color chart, you're looking at ghost tea here. where it is just like there's nothing going on.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Like it's like, I mean, obviously for tea, I'm probably gonna pick the middle one. Of course, I understand. For toast, I'd pick the first one. Yeah. So bread. I don't think, I've never looked at this chart before, but like,
Starting point is 00:52:40 I think for tea, which I don't even really like or anything, granddad's strength seems right to me. Oh. Like that are Builders Delight. I'll take liquid darkness. Yeah, like I want it like, I want the tea to like come after me.
Starting point is 00:52:55 You know what I mean? Yeah. I want it like, I want stars to disappear into it like a black hole. Yeah, I want it to like taste like something, you know, so. Yeah. I'm fine with all of them, but the first two, the first white, the white ones. Yeah, that's like, that's like, you're just having milk. You just drinking milk.
Starting point is 00:53:11 Yeah, just fucking wild water. Psycho. Any other shading, I'm like, okay, I can buy that. That's just put it in hot water and then you pour some milk in it. Oh, the correct amount of butter on toasting. So you're A here, huh, Gavin? Yeah, if I'm, if I'm, if I'm, if I'm, happen to have some. I'm doing A. I'm happy
Starting point is 00:53:28 with anyone but F, but yeah, F is gross. It's just cold butter on the top. I'll probably do C. Oh, dude, I'll, I'll eat F absolutely. I'll eat F. Yeah, no fucking problem. Would you survive an F? Yeah. Yeah. Everything else is fine. If you're
Starting point is 00:53:44 listening to this, it's ABCD EF and it's like no butter and then like progressively more where F is like kicked on like it looks like frosting from a cake. Maybe this will be our thumbnail. F is I end up
Starting point is 00:53:59 I end up with more butter in my mustache than in my mouth Yeah but that's something you just gotta live with You just get a napkin You'd be all right man I think it's good
Starting point is 00:54:06 I like see glistening and almost wet But not quite Perfect So I'm doing the marge thing I assume then If it's not because
Starting point is 00:54:14 I don't know my butters It's because I maybe have never had marge Yeah that's I think that's what we were talking about Right Yeah Yeah
Starting point is 00:54:26 Yeah, I thought that was the whole point of this thing. Yeah. I wonder how you'd feel about a garlic butter. Oh, I love it. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I know. Why? Now, you're hesitating a lot instead of just going, I like it or I don't like it.
Starting point is 00:54:43 He's never had it. Would you consider F to be butter not butter or not a butter's butter? I could go with either. What can you say to me? You fucking welcome. He's stunned. I had him thinking about garlic butter and then you threw that in and it's too much. I feel like it got butter in my ears after that.
Starting point is 00:55:04 I'm just trying to think of like alternate ways because garlic butter wouldn't have the same smell, obviously. It's much more garlicky and you strike me as a man who likes garlic. Gavin, what are your opinions on garlic? Yeah, Gavin. I like the flavor. Yeah. Do you have an issue with the smell? No, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:55:20 But I don't think anyone's chucked a bunch of garlic butter on popcorn. What about garlic bread? Garlic bread's all right. I'm probably gonna have just one bit. Because it gets real... If I pick up bread and it leaves my fingers shiny, it's too much. Is this a wet bread thing? Is it just as simple as that?
Starting point is 00:55:40 Are we overthinking this? No, because of the popcorn. He's complaining about the popcorn. Well, I don't like wet popcorn either. Yeah, but popcorn's like... He wouldn't eat wet. He's not going to eat wet anything. Soup?
Starting point is 00:55:50 Wow. Some stuff's good wet. Well, soup. Also, bread is fine. Where if it's what? Big beans are wet. Big beans are wet, yeah. So it doesn't really count for wetness.
Starting point is 00:56:04 What do you mean? You're insane. Dude, where you're drawing this line is crazy. Sauce doesn't count for wetness? All right. Big beans are like the ultimate wet food. They're like in a pool. They're in a pool of liquid.
Starting point is 00:56:18 It's like saying water doesn't count for wetness. Okay, so it's gets for wetness, but a bean isn't absorbent in the same way. No, but I think, Beans are liquidy when you eat them. Beans are liquidy. They have give. Yeah. That's soft.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Have you eaten a raw bean before? It's crunchy. Yeah, but I mean, pasta's soft and it's not soggy. Past is soft but not soggy. What does that have to do with baked beans being wet? Um, just it doesn't go soggy, it just goes soft. There's an difference. Shut up, that's what.
Starting point is 00:56:56 And also, I'm fine with wet bread. as long as you employ the five second rule. I could dunk a sandwich in tomato soup, for example. If it's been, if a piece of bread falls in the soup and sits there for more than five seconds, repulsive. Which is why you can never touch French onion soup. Like you can never have it. You can't even, it can't even hold itself together.
Starting point is 00:57:26 I have a question about your tomato soup scenario. Okay. You have the bread in your hand. You have a slice of bread. I know typically you'd like triangle cut it, but let's just say it's a full slice of bread. Yeah. It's ready for the meal.
Starting point is 00:57:40 Have it in your hand. You can do a little dipage. It slips out of your fingers. Entire slice falls into the soup. I'm shoveling that in. I've got to get rid of that. It's like it's either not going to, it's ruined now.
Starting point is 00:57:56 It's just too much. Or you're now trying to, speed run the slice of tomato soup bread. You're McGuiver trying to disconnect the wires with three seconds to go. Yeah, I'm bobbing for breadlumps at that point, as fast
Starting point is 00:58:13 as possible. Oh, yeah. Wow. Okay. Interesting. I think there's a lot of butter. I think your opinion on butter could change. Yeah. Yeah. It's really wet. The butter's like water. I guess we'll find out when you
Starting point is 00:58:29 Butter is not like... No, it's not. You're crazy. What? Like, when you melt butter, it's closer to water that it is sauce. What?
Starting point is 00:58:40 It's like pure oil. When you melt anything, it's closer to water than... What? Yeah, same with ice cream. What? What are you talking about? Great qualifier.
Starting point is 00:58:52 Oh, no. I like this. But melted butter is wetter than... It's the most accent you've ever had. No, no, it but is wet as ketchup. All right?
Starting point is 00:59:07 Melton ketchup is just as wet as melted butter, I'd imagine it's the melting, dude. There's no viscosity to it. It's too, it's oil. I was so on your side, like genuinely on your side with the butter's water comparison. I was with you on that.
Starting point is 00:59:23 It's very liquidy. But you're not on my side anymore? Well, when you're like measuring it against, other sauces, then it becomes a problem. When you're going through a process to turn it into water and then complaining that it's water, when it's not water in its natural state, it just seems... Right, but
Starting point is 00:59:38 melted butter, what is it closer to? Mayo or water? Yeah, but what is melted mayo closer to? Mayo or water? Who's melting mayo? You keep putting an adjective. Why are you melting butter? You don't have to melt it. You're so... You're excusing to melt the butter.
Starting point is 00:59:55 You don't have to melt. Nobody's asking you to melt the butter. Put it on hot food! Other than bread, what's butter going on that's cold? Noodles! What's butter going on that's cold? Yeah. Could be pancakes. Cold pancakes?
Starting point is 01:00:15 I mean, they get cold. They get cold. You're not serving them. I'm saying, but they do get cold. Everything gets cold. Yeah. Like the butter! What?
Starting point is 01:00:27 What? You sing like butter gets cold. Butter resolidifies when it gets cold. What I love about your examples right now, Gavin, is they're just not the same. A potato would get cold. What are you talking about? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:41 Yeah, it would. Where am I? What is happening? What the fuck is going on? I'm trying to think other cold. I mean, you're right, like, my point was that you can eat a cold pancake and it's fine. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:55 I just, Gavin, you're putting your, an adjective with butter and then you're not putting an adjective with a different thing and so we're going like right but what if you melt the other thing that you're comparing it? What has more air? A flat tire or an inflated beach ball?
Starting point is 01:01:15 But weren't we talking about the wet bread factor? Like melted butter would soak up a bread real good. It would. Yeah, just like melted mayonnaise would too probably. I'm melted mayonnaise. I hate the idea of.
Starting point is 01:01:30 I don't, I don't, what is that? He hates the idea of melted butter. Can you melt mayo? Yeah, you can melt anything. You get hot enough. I love,
Starting point is 01:01:38 what about melted peanut butter, Gavin? I love me some melted peanut butter. I mean, I wouldn't choose it. On toast? When you're making toast? It's too like annoying and drippy. Too annoying and drippy.
Starting point is 01:01:51 I don't, I don't want food to get on my wrist at any point. Interesting. Maybe we should melt a couple of different things and then see if melted butter is better than melted peanut butter or melted mayonnaise or melted ranch or whatever else you want to go in there. What's so interesting about this is I feel like so much of this is decided by not taste.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Oh yeah, I think the taste is all right. Like the taste is like the least factor in these decisions. You don't want it to get on you. I'm mostly affected by texture. Yeah. Like tofu. Get out of my face with that. I will say like the closest thing he said to not liking the taste of
Starting point is 01:02:27 butter is just that it doesn't like the smell of butter. He's never once remarked on how it tastes. Wait, you like oysters, but not tofu? Yeah, I can suck an oyster down. Not really sure why. That's, that's like maybe the worst texture to me. It's like eating a sneeze. Oh, it's the worst.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Yeah, exactly. I think it's terrible. I think that's like, I think oysters like the worst texture. But it's, but it's not soggy. It's not, it wasn't in a better condition before. I think he's right. I think Gavin's right. How far into this recording, are we?
Starting point is 01:03:00 Oh, I mean, we're over, but it's fine, yeah. You think Gavin's right about- No, I'm trying to figure, because my audacity stopped at 51 minutes, 47 seconds. Oh, yeah, we lost like the last 10 minutes of you, so. Okay. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 01:03:11 We got Craig. Why did it stop? Do you crash your mouse into your gawks a lot? No, I didn't do anything. It just said that for some reason it's competing with something else, potentially. It's like, hey, it dropped. Maybe it's competing.
Starting point is 01:03:23 Yeah, I'm looking at it. That's why I noticed. It's competing. I can hit start again on record. Is it competing with GTA5? You should save what you have already and then you should start another one. But I mean, also we're like,
Starting point is 01:03:38 I guess we can just make this the end. Okay, let's make this the end. I want to circle back. I have opinions on this. Oh, you don't think we've had enough of this? We're going to make everyone wait a week to hear your opinions on this? Well, it's a side thing.
Starting point is 01:03:51 The project was not saved because the file name provided would overwrite another project. I'll say this if I'll say that as I was gonna end it but now I'm not now we're gonna go through this
Starting point is 01:04:03 I kind of want to stay in this because I don't want to make people wait a week to get any of the opinions It's aside, it's aside, it's aside It's not specific to Gavin It's the thought I was having last night about Taste Is you a hot trifle?
Starting point is 01:04:16 It was early in the week It's so funny you say that I did that Minecraft dungeon stream I quit No no no no no Hear me out. Did that Minecraft Dungeons just for fun stream
Starting point is 01:04:27 and was the least it was the most disastrous stream from a capture perspective because I was so excited I realized I only went live on OBS I forgot to also hit record but I did roll audio however the audio stopped four minutes in
Starting point is 01:04:44 because my hard drive was full so I wouldn't have had anything anyway. Andrew why are you even recording to you? How is it full already? recording a lot of videos, a lot of audio. To which drive? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:04:58 Goes places. Are you doing it on your C drive? It's to the C drive. You hit start, you hit stop, it goes where it goes. I upload it. It goes. You've probably got a full operating system drive. How do I check?
Starting point is 01:05:11 Completely empty capture drive. How do I check? Where do I go? It's just my computer, this PC, whatever's called now? I don't know. I don't know. That's why I'm asking. You can't give me whatever it's called now.
Starting point is 01:05:23 I don't know. Is it called this PC? It used to be called my computer. I think you go to this PC and then it'll give you all your drives listed. Where do I search for this PC? Is in settings? Is it in the...
Starting point is 01:05:36 Open File Explorer. It's just the Explorer. Gavin, I'm with you. You're fine. It's fine. You're good, man. Yeah, I'm not saying Gavin's doing anything wrong. I just don't know.
Starting point is 01:05:44 On the left, click this PC. Okay, this PC. I see it. And then it'll list your drives. The C, the D, I have a C drive and that's it. You only have drive. You only have one drive?
Starting point is 01:05:56 What's not connected either? What? Your graphics card and your capture drive aren't, weren't connected when it arrived? I don't know what that means. You have a whole drive in there for capturing video two. Probably a D drive. Yep. Yes, it would be a D drive, but it's not recognizing it.
Starting point is 01:06:16 Hey, Jeff. Hello. It's raining so hard right now. Dude, it just kicked up a notch. It's fucking shit. Yeah, I guess you and I get the same rain now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:06:30 Gathering is the rain where you are? No. Loser. Well, I'll be in the club soon, I think. Dry bitch. Yeah, I see it on the radar right now. Nick loves watching the weather radar, by the way. I love weather.
Starting point is 01:06:43 I am with Nick. I love weather. I love weather. I start watching the weather channel. Said it like a cartoon character. Okay, you got. This PC, local disk, right? Hold on.
Starting point is 01:06:56 Local disk 2 terabytes. So you're using it. Press Windows. On the keyboard? Yeah. Type disk management. Disc with a K. Okay.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Hit that, create a format. How do you only... So he only has the C drive. One drive. Maybe the other one's not plugged in. There's no way it's plugged in. Well, I mean, he's got a two... Is it a two terabyte C drive?
Starting point is 01:07:22 I don't have the exact same computer that you guys have. But what, didn't you order what we sent? Or did you find a different one? You sent me a specific computer. I ordered that. The one I sent you had two drives in it. So maybe it's in there. It's just not plugged in.
Starting point is 01:07:35 The graphics card wasn't. Shit. Andrew, you might be sitting on a lot of extra bits, buddy. How much available space do you have? It's got half a terabyte. Yeah, he's got 500 gigs. Okay. Yeah, I deleted a bunch of
Starting point is 01:07:52 uploaded video on my end. Well, that's really, if it really didn't come with it, that's very unfortunate. Considering the drive that you would have got is probably three times the price there.
Starting point is 01:08:07 Huh. Well, I guess I'll look into it. Man, speaking of shit getting more expensive, I bought million Xbox the other day. Holy fuck. Oh yeah,
Starting point is 01:08:19 you shouldn't have done that. crazy. Consoles got pricey. Yeah, maybe. What was it like 800 bucks or something? Yeah, it was like $7.59 or something? What? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:30 PlayStation was just as bad. PS5 Pro is like over $1,000. Yeah, I think it's like $1,000. Fucking A, man. What, PS5 Pro 2 terabyte $1,500. Fuck. We should wrap this one up, though, because we got to... Let's wrap.
Starting point is 01:08:45 Yeah, we got stuff that we got to get to, and then we got to figure out Andrew's computer. And Andrew's side thoughts next. week. Yeah, it's true. You believe you have to wait seven days to find out what his side thoughts were. Well, you do fucking deal with it. Thank you for listening to the podcast. We love you so much, but don't tell anyone. It's kind of our secret. We'll see you next week for 127. Bye-bye. Bye. Bye.
