Hello and welcome to another regulation supplemental.
Today we're doing a draft.
I got to be honest with you.
I need to admit something.
My name is Jeff and I like potatoes.
I like them a lot.
I like him in every way.
And that is why we're going to do a potato draft.
Favorite kinds of potato draft.
My flag's up.
This has been kicked around since early draft days, I believe.
It sure has.
Like season two of F***as, maybe.
I wasn't entirely convinced that we hadn't already done this.
No.
I don't think we did.
The back burner,
we've been thinking about it.
There's so many choices.
It's tough.
You've got to build a big board.
Yeah, I got a big board.
I got a big board.
We've definitely been threatening to do this
for about four years.
Threatening.
Oh, we're going to fucking do it.
Today,
the potato bill comes due.
Now everybody can enjoy potatoes
in their own way.
It's a beautiful food.
One of the greats.
Hall of Famer,
for sure.
First ballot.
There's one type of potato I have no respect for.
So I'm curious to see if that shows up.
Oh, shit.
I will judge you for that.
I think I know what he's going to say, but we'll see.
What does that mean?
I'm going to write it down right now.
Oh, do it.
I'm going to write it down.
Right it down.
Okay, cool.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
This is really, really good.
This is what happens.
I feel like I have said it.
It's what happens when we're in the office
and we can all see what Jeff wrote.
It's exciting.
It's written down.
It's there.
It's there.
He doesn't show it to us.
He just flapped it.
He just flapped it.
We haven't seen it.
Yeah.
We will read it.
Ooh, when the time is right.
Boys, it is time for the best types of potato draft.
Amazing.
God, I'd like to go first, please.
Well, guess what?
Really?
I never hit record on my video.
Guess what?
For the best types of potato draft, one, two, three, one, two, three.
That'll just be a still image before that.
Hello.
I'm recording, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, for guys.
Yeah.
It's got me scared.
You like that?
All right.
Oh, good.
Thanks for that.
Guys, the best types of potato draft.
We always start in an egg order, which is Dillipop, baby face, a little skeddy, candy man.
Trigger, man.
We're also, hey, we're going to bring this up now.
We're getting close to the end of those nicknames.
I can't wait.
I've already written down everyone's new nicknames.
Oh, is that right?
I've threatened to.
I didn't write a single one down.
If he wrote down what type of potato, Andrew doesn't respect,
but he hasn't written down nicknames.
That's all right.
I know what Andrew's nickname's going to be next year.
I got one for him.
Guys, we have to randomize in order to start this thing in the snake draft.
How many times we were randomizing?
That's a great question.
We usually have a definitive number.
Is there a potato number?
Is there a potato number?
Well, I think a potato, I think a five-pound bag of potatoes.
Oh, that's a fire.
I like it.
Yeah?
Let's do it.
Do five.
All right, five.
Here we go.
Ann Ang order, we start.
One, two, three, four is Eric Gavin, Nick, Andrew Jeff.
Interesting.
Shit.
Damn.
Scared.
Oh, Andrew Jeff, Gavin, Eric.
And that is exactly.
I was blessed from the beginning.
That is exactly what Andrew wanted.
Again, we're using Sean Bear's website.
Nick didn't want.
You can make your own drafts here if you want.
This is right.
Andrew, it is wide open.
You've got it all.
We start with you.
Five, five, my lucky number.
Second of all, one time,
a guy showed up to my grandparents' house
with a truck filled with bags of potatoes
bought it from the truck.
He's just selling him.
He's going door-to-door potato sales.
What? Did he steal him?
I don't know.
My grandpa felt bad for him,
so he bought a bag.
It was like a five-pound bag, so I'm blessed.
In the potato department,
I didn't expect going first.
Let me evaluate the board.
Oh.
It's tricky.
It's a tricky, tricky thing to think about.
Let me look at my, my whole list.
Yeah.
It's a tough number one overall, but I feel like you also need to capture something quick.
Yeah.
I think there are certain categories of potato that I would like at least one of,
a top tier at multiple sections.
So, the number one, potato of all time.
I'm going to go with a tater tot.
It's a good thing.
I love a tater tots.
I disagree.
It's not my number one.
Tatertots a great second round pick.
It's the best of...
Well, it's one of the best fry variants.
For me, I personally thrilled.
Love it.
Maybe because I don't have a ton of tater tots available to me
in the geographic region where I live.
So when I get a tater tot that I really like,
boy, am I excited about it?
Is there a taut, is there like a tot drought where you live?
Are you like a no tot zone?
What? There's a, so we just got a new chain of a pizza chain called pizza pizza pizza and they have a chicken.
Chicken chicken.
Yeah, it's actually, well, actually it's chicken chicken by pizza pizza is what they call their chicken chin.
This sounds like Little Caesars.
It is.
Sort of, but they do a bunch of other foods as well, chicken and all that.
And they have tater tots.
So I've enjoyed those a little bit.
However, they cook them in the same thing that they cook their funnel cakes in, so they're a little sweet.
It's a little odd.
Gross.
Gross.
Unfortunate.
Tater tots are delicious.
You get the crunch.
To me, a potato is all about a good crunch.
You get that crunch.
But then you get the fluffiness on the inside.
So much fun to dip.
It's a top to your potato.
I don't care about the slander.
Somebody's going to show up with a fucking steak fry right next to me.
And that thing's going to be pathetic.
I just, I'm glad.
You had the first A number one spot.
And you pick.
That's his number one, man.
It's very close to regulation law.
It's true.
So we couldn't have taken it in the last one.
Here's the thing.
I'm building a team here.
I'm building a roster.
And I just got a top three positional potato.
You believe in your pick and that's all that matters.
And I guarantee you there will be
audience members that wholeheartedly agree with you.
Absolutely.
You guys can all live on wrong island together.
That's okay.
We don't have to go there.
Well, there you have to take a ferry to get there.
And he loves them.
Well, I'd love to see what the first overall pick should have been.
Jeff, what do you got?
What's your first pick?
Listen, you're talking to a guy who feels a certain type of way about potatoes.
You don't know this about me, but I grew up a poor Southern boy in Alabama.
I was born and my first home was a trailer in a trailer park and my mother, a single mom.
All she could afford was potatoes.
So while she was pregnant with me, all she ate was potatoes.
When I was born and I started eating food, it was mostly potatoes for my early life.
I have loved them.
They're a part of the fabric of who I am.
I owe a lot of my success to the humble potato, I think.
And to me, there is no bad.
better way to personify and to revere the humble potato than with the mash. My first pick is
going to be the mashed potato. Mash it up. It's my favorite thing to cook, fill it with heavy
cream and salt and garlic and butter, and it becomes this ooey-gooey, amazing glue that holds
all the fabric of my memories together. I love it.
first two picks are like wild to me.
I feel, I feel, I feel, Nick, I feel fucking nuts.
I gave you guys everything.
I gave you a story.
I gave you history.
I gave you a reason behind it.
I love it, but I'm relieved.
I love a mashed potato.
I'm thrilled with these first two picks.
I feel so good.
I can't believe Gavin's gonna take what I need, but that's fine.
Andrew, what did you say about mashed potato?
It's just a, it's a bland pick, but I love it.
I love the mashed potato.
Because you've never had properly cooked mashed potatoes.
No, I've had so many.
Jeff went to back.
Jeff went to back for Andrew immediately, and Andrew just like, fuck you.
No, I'm used to it.
I think it's a, it was just a mil-
I'm the only guy in this corner means I'm the only one close enough to punch.
I'm used to it.
I didn't know you were in my corner, Jeff.
I thought you were against me.
I just feel like, no, you definitely threw shade my way.
There is definite shade.
I just think there's a lot of talk
for what I view as a vanilla
But you're saying bland
Like I'd say mash is the easiest
To add flavor to
Of all potato
100%
It's the easiest to transform
So you're gonna add to it is what you're saying?
You're putting
Like fucking gravy
Don't even get me started
On all the variety of gravies
You can put on a mashed potato
Then it becomes a different animal altogether
That's sort of the point I guess
Is like you're now you're adding stuff to it
Because it's not good enough
It's base
Oh I'm sorry
Are you not allowed to put ketchup on your tater tots?
I don't need to
Delicious
Got that crunch.
No, what if they're cooked poorly?
This is...
That's the problem with the cook.
I think we're optimized...
I think we view all of these items
as they're cooked properly.
Right, so it's a good mashed potato.
If you improperly cook mashed potatoes,
that's a disaster.
If you improperly cook anything on Earth is...
All food is...
All food can be good.
It can be.
There's variation.
What's like the escalator of the food world?
What does that mean?
Well, like, when escalators...
break, obviously, according to Mitch
Headberg, they become stairs. Like, what can
you botch in the kitchen, and it's still
an effective, delicious thing?
Oh, I have to think
about that. That's a tough one. Okay. Peanut butter and
jelly sandwich. That's, hey.
Great pick, Jeff. Yeah, that's solid.
Solid pick. I mean, number one overall
and botched food draft. In a different
draft. Yeah, absolutely.
Gavin. Gavin, can you
please set these guys right and pick the
number one thing here in your first pick?
It's French fries. Yes, it's French fries.
I just don't like like like like what are we doing like are you insane like there are different types of
fries you can't just draft fries you can't just draft fries absolutely draftable he just did
it's on the board no these are french fries are protesting this these are straight fries then
no I think you can draft fries you can just a lot but you can absolutely draft fries I mean when
you say french fry I'm thinking a McDonald's french fries a french fries yeah yeah okay that's
it's a hundred percent valid yeah I don't think that's the best version of a fry but I
Okay, now when you say it's valid, Jeff, you mean that that is a specific fry and not that all fries are no longer draftable, which is right. No, now if you want to draft a steak fry, I think you could. Oh, a different word? If you wanted to draft a curly fry, I think you could.
French fries aren't a type of fry though. They're not a cut. I, what? Just because you view French fries as a McDonald fry doesn't mean that's what they're called. I would call them more of a straw fry, right? Yeah. You think you think, you think.
the term is straw fry?
I don't think it's French.
The thing I've never heard or said in my life?
Google,
Google French fry.
It could be a crinkle fry.
Straw fry is a different fry.
It's on my list.
Everyone just keep saying other words and going,
here's this thing.
I got hammered for coffee and changing it to something else.
You were just copped.
You were just copped.
You got hammered for copy coffee.
If Nick doesn't draft another type of fry,
I'll eat my own.
Just for that.
I'm not drafting a fry.
You're lacking the fry vernacular, which I'm not surprised by.
It's a friend, it's a shoestring.
French.
No,
shoestring.
Okay.
No, shoestring smaller.
If we were,
if we were doing,
shoestring smaller.
What are you talking about?
Shoestring is skinny.
Yeah,
there's skinny little.
So it was a McDonald's fry,
which is what he's drafting.
Not a near than that.
No,
shoestring,
here.
God damn, dude.
I can't believe Andrew's the most wrong about,
about fries.
No.
I can.
He picks tater.
Shoestring's coming a fucking.
It's a very issue of fry.
And they say shoestring potatoes on them.
Look, just think of a McDonald's fry for this.
You put them on top of that mushroom thing that you eat in Thanksgiving.
The mushroom burger you don't eat on the plate.
I would, once again, it's not possible to do at this point, but I would love to see, I would love to watch the history of our content on a timeline of recording.
Andrew, Andrew, just think of it as the McDonald's fry.
And that is what this covers.
Donald uses a classic shoe string cut.
Oh, okay.
Well, is that AI?
Of course it is.
It's the first thing that popped up.
It's the top of Google.
I have no choice.
No, you can scroll past it like everybody else.
Yeah, just scroll.
I am scrolling past it.
I just wanted to state it first, Nick.
Jesus, who side are you on?
I'm with, listen, I'm on your side.
Other than the AI.
You're going to get punched by Andrew.
You got to be careful.
Man.
Also referred to as a thin Julian cut.
I'll take that.
I'll take a thin Julian cut.
That sounds like...
I have 16 variation of French fry on my list.
I don't have French fry.
I'm not changing it for French fry.
It's French fry.
Let it be known that that's the Julianne fry.
It's fine.
It's French fry.
Technically that is correct.
I don't care.
You guys are saying like...
We know you...
This whole thing is French fries.
It's a French fry.
French fry.
What about a curly fry?
Different thing.
Yeah.
Okay, just making sure that nobody pulls that bullshit.
French fry is a genre.
Just making sure.
Fry is a genre.
French fries a genre.
Surely mash is a genre.
That's true. MASH is a genre.
That's why I specified potato.
I would say a lot of these are very...
A lot of these, there's three fucking picks.
And you made one of them.
I made a great pig. I made the obvious first pick.
You made the obvious...
You made the obvious first pick.
You made the obvious first pick.
You made the...
No, that was a rookie pick.
That was the rookie pick.
the obvious first pick.
It's just not my first pick.
That's a white belt potato guy.
It was absolutely, dude, Tater tot, in the history.
It's a type of fry.
I think crack rock is the, is like the lipness test for like, what is this weird pick?
And Andrew picked Tater tot, and that to me is maybe the weirdest first pick.
Wanted noted to the audience that the guy that drafted Fripped Face and the guy that drafted
no scrump and real buddy buddy.
You didn't have a problem with it.
Real buddy buddy.
That's the whole issue.
You're saying French fries is too much of a.
subgenre of potato. It's a type of potato.
It's a perfect pick.
It's an alright pick.
Well, you're going to pick my picks anyway, Nick.
God damn it. You're going to pick.
I'm going to pick French fries. Nick's going to pick four different types of French fries.
If I have...
You know he is. He saw Big Brother.
If I have to get to fries, she has gone wrong.
I feel bad.
If we were doing a best football player draft, you drafted, like...
Offensive line as a singular pick.
Now that.
I don't know that I disagree with that, actually.
I just, French fry is, and we've already distinguished what the other ones are as they're different words.
I just don't think you have a leg to stand on here.
I was so happy to get French fries.
I think people use French fries.
Dude, I was hoping you weren't going to pick it.
But honestly, the devastation in Andrew's voice when he said, you can't draw French fire, it really hurt me.
I feel like
As long as all the other fries are off the board
because typically when we have a general pick
like that, that removes all the subset.
And if you just don't know what a Julian fry is
for what you're referring to,
you're drafting a McDonald's fry.
You're right.
Then that's fine.
Oh, it's just, uh...
Now, Erica's wrong for not updating the board
to correct like what actually is being represented.
French fries on the board.
French fries on the board.
Who orders Julian fries?
Hi, can I get a large Julian fries?
Who says French fry?
I've never ordered...
French fry.
What was that?
What was that?
What was that?
French fries is the normal fries.
I'll have a large fries.
They are French fries.
You guys are crazy.
Go to a McDonald's and say French fries.
And they won't, they'll just give you fries,
but know that they are judging you internally.
It's on their website, dude.
That's what they're called on the menu, isn't it?
That's who you're on the side with, Nick.
Listen to what the fuck he just said and realize that that's who you're citing.
Nobody says it.
Like whenever there's curly fries or waffle fries.
work in a McDonald's and you're listening to this, please, let me know. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm
open to being wrong. Hey, you know what? It's paid. It has been known to happen. I wouldn't order
French fries. I call them chips for Christ's sake. I'm trying to just use the actual term that
the world knows. It's French fries. I'm on the McDonald's website and here's their description
of their fry. Everyone wants to know why McDonald's French fries tastes so good. Why does it
say that? It's a simple answer. Nobody orders it that. McDonald's world famous fries are made with
premium potatoes.
Yes.
Russet,
Burbank,
and the Shepody.
They say freedom fries.
This is the craziest.
It's such a,
it's such the A number one pick.
And Gavin,
you're getting lambasted for no reason.
I think it's a,
I think it's a good pick.
I think it's the good pick.
I think it's the obvious choice.
I think it's insane that it got picked third.
What do you mean?
I didn't pick it.
I think some of us just have a different level of potato
refinement.
I prefer a different potato over fry.
Usually,
Gavin, you're
so right here.
Curly fries or waffle
fries will be
stated as so
on the menu.
If you said
shoe string fry,
Gavin,
I wouldn't have said a
fucking word.
I wouldn't have said a
fucking word.
I don't,
exactly.
It's what Jeff's
point was.
Yeah,
Jeff.
I didn't know that you
didn't know.
Yeah, Jeff.
Your point.
Uh-oh.
I hear people say
French fries all the time.
Don't
say that.
That's not what they are.
I can't wait for
Eric to
draft Russet potato. That's a good.
Potato chips is off the board now. That was my
potato chips. Great pick.
What? What? I didn't know my list. Potato chips.
On my list. Potato chips isn't on your list.
That's the number two pick.
Yeah, absolutely. Gavin, these guys are in. This is like,
I can't, I feel nuts. This is the craziest. How is the
potato draft the craziest draft? You just drafted 50 flavors.
It's insane.
He's got you there.
You can't argue that you're putting
fucking garlic and shit in, Jeff,
with your mashed potato.
Andrew, Andrew, this doesn't count kettle cooked.
Okay.
My first, my first...
No, it doesn't.
I think it counts kettle cooked.
They're prep different.
A kettle cook is a kind of potato.
If you're putting kettle cooked in the potato chip,
he literally just drafted a hundred and fifty different things.
All this shit's made out of potato.
It's not, Eric's fault that people got,
adventurous with the format.
You can't draft the format.
My first pick is chips.
My second pick is crisps.
That's what's happened here.
It's a great pick.
I'm fine with it.
I'm only to let it slide.
I'm only to let it slide because I don't have any other flavors of potato chip on my
board, but it is an insane thing to draft.
It's,
I don't think it's insane to draft, but it's,
there's 150 flavors of them.
I don't feel the need to argue for French fries or potato chip.
I took off my headset, walked away, got a drink, and came back.
It's true, I saw him.
There's no, there's no need to argue for the number one and number two picks here.
I think, I think he's just...
One second.
These are the top picks.
For French, he was just clarifying that it didn't encompass all fries.
This is encompassing all chips, which is equally insane.
But are you saying, Andrew, that I potentially, my whole board could have been sort of vinegar crisps,
cheese and onion crisps.
Yes.
For potato?
Those are different flavors.
Do you spend...
There are people that like potato chips
that don't like every flavor of chip.
They're a different experience.
No, they're not.
The same thing with different powders on
isn't two different types of potato.
Then why do they track them differently?
What does that mean?
Why do I not like fucking sour cream and onion
but I'll fucking go to town
on a bag of barbecue?
You're drafting potato-related skews.
I'm...
Wait, isn't that what this is?
Best potato skews draft?
Nick, I just wanted to say real fast,
buddy, I sense you backing towards Andrew's
corner a little bit and just cover the back
of your head because if you get within punching distance
he'll see no difference between you and the rest of us.
French fries and potato chips and the potato
draft is making him crazy.
Potato field of wrong.
It's what I am.
Just surrounded by bad potato takes.
Watch it back of your head, Nick.
It's going to be the longest drop we've ever made.
I don't agree with the flavor thing,
but I do agree with the different type.
There's the standard potato chip
and then there's a baked potato.
and then there's a kettle-cooked potato.
There's corn chips.
The well, those are potatoes.
That's from corn.
Now, let's take a step back and really think about,
and really think about if the potato chip is the corn chip.
I'm going to say no.
Here's the thing.
In the same way that a person looks at French fry
and encompasses every type of varying of fry,
the same applies to potato chip.
So potato chips off the board,
Nick, you are going to round out the first round here and begin the second.
What is your first pick?
I swear to God, if you pick kettle chip.
Oh, I'm not going to, no, no, absolutely not.
I also didn't have chips on my head.
What four French fries is he about to pick?
Please, excuse me.
I'm going with something that my wife actually reminded me of that I haven't had in a long time.
And I need to get back into this bad boy.
It's a twice baked potato.
Oh, so good.
That was almost my, that was almost my pick.
I was hoping for the swing.
This is my number one overall.
It's a good one.
It's a great one.
It's the best way to do it.
You bake a potato, you take it out, you squish it down, you put the toppings on,
you bake it one more time.
You squish it down.
In fact, you kind of like, you kind of bake the potato, you take it out, and you mash it.
And then you basically are baked potato wrapped around a mashed potato.
But there's somebody different types of both worlds.
Huh.
So you take it out and you mash it.
Just mash it.
Something, that is interesting.
That is the thing.
I was excited.
I hope it fell to me.
I didn't necessarily want.
want to have the fight of am I just taking mashed potato?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You just wanted to have every other fight.
It's a different type of potato.
No, I'm saying as the person, I'm saying that if I drafted it,
I knew I would have to fight for that.
So I was undecided if I felt like doing that.
It is a superior.
Baked potato.
Yeah, I don't see any fight in it.
It is.
I don't either.
Nick different.
That's a great pick, man.
Thank you, man.
I appreciate it.
What's your next big?
Delicious pick.
My next pick.
I thought to myself, do I want to win this draft or do I want to be right?
And I want to be right.
There you go.
So I'm going with a lotka.
Oh,
Great pick.
That's a great pick.
Is that you spell it?
Yes.
Delicious.
That's a great pick.
That's the second time you've drafted that, I think.
Is it really?
Lockers are great.
When else would you've drafted it?
I don't,
probably like a full meal draft of some kind.
But lock is great.
I mean, they're like pressed and then fried.
They're crispy.
They're delicious.
I love the flavor.
You can add sweet to it.
You can also add like sour cream.
It's real good.
Onion to it.
I love Lokkas.
And I never get them.
They're not prevalent out here in Texas.
I think they are in New Braunville.
Yeah, yeah.
It's, I think you got to find the pockets.
It's like how Tater Tots aren't prevalent here.
I just, I'm not even going to get into that because I don't, I think that.
I feel like Tater Tots are prevalent anywhere there's a bar.
Yeah, I just don't think you're going to places that have Tater Tots.
Great, great.
Okay, you guys know the fucking many locations of all the places around me better than I do.
Based on your setup and your board.
body, yes, I also think that you don't know your general area.
Excellent point.
I will defer to you on all Vancouver Island related potato matters.
I won't.
So what's the weather going to be like tomorrow, guys?
Let's let me know.
76?
I looked at the report.
Okay, thanks.
106 in Austin today.
Feels like 112.
106.
Tomorrow's going to be 107.
Well, Lottka off the board.
I have my next pick.
And I have a glut to choose from here.
Yeah.
I'm nervous about the circle back.
What potato that covers 190 different other potatoes are you to pick next?
Yoki is my pet.
Great.
A preferred pasta for me.
I always have them in my pantry.
I always have my cupboard.
The first time I ever had Yoki, I made it by hand and didn't realize what I was doing.
Just had a lot of potatoes.
Found a recipe for potato pasta.
I had no money.
And just sort of like had, oh, I got flour and I have potato.
just do this. Made Nyoki by hand. Incredible. Then found out you can just buy it. Even better.
Incredible. I love yokey. You can do so much with it. I think it is a, for me, a preferred pasta
that is filling and delicious. I also don't think that it's one that people think of when they
go to an Italian food spot. Then people don't think they get Nyoki. It's Bernie Burns' favorite
Italian. Is it really? I've seen him order it one billion times. Wow. I just prefer pasta,
Straight pasta.
I think he hates how similar we probably are.
You guys are like twins.
Yeah, I think he would probably hate to hear you say that.
I text him.
Yoki, off the board, Gavin,
are you feeling trepidacious about your next pick?
Yes.
My first question is, is twice baked potato?
Is that a jacket potato?
It's...
A jacket potato is a regular baked potato?
Yes, that's correct.
So I would consider them to be different skews to use Andrews.
Yeah, imagine the shell of a baked potato with the innards of mashed potatoes.
Like, if you wanted to pick a baked potato, aka Jacket Potato, I would think that was you for.
You can definitely take a jacket potato?
You want Jacket potato, Gavin?
I think I do.
Okay.
You're well within your right to do that.
And can I have a, can I have it in brackets?
Yeah, what do you want?
With baked beans on.
Oh, well.
All right.
And he lost.
That was amazing.
Talk about just like, I'm hearing a little.
A lot of people who've never dumped a can into a spud.
No, I've tried it.
Oh, never mind.
Yeah.
I saw, I get those.
Yeah, I'm such a fucking potato guy.
I get potato TikToks all the time.
Have you ever done a jacket potato with tuna?
I don't like tuna by itself.
Oh, so no.
Okay.
Not a tuna guy.
It's a whole nation that calls it tuna.
And it's like, no, it's not going to be my preference, I don't think.
Tuna on YouTube.
I could see if I grew up with it really like it.
it as just like a random item, I personally
didn't love the jack potato with big beans.
But I think it's a great pick, and I think
it is a great representation of your culture.
It's weird. The first half, he was really
with you, the second half felt like a dig?
No, not at all a pig.
It's like a British dish, like a European thing.
Oh, okay, because it felt like you were patting me on the back
the whole sentence, and then you slapped me in the back of the head
right at the end. Yeah. No, no. I was,
if anything, that was like a double pat. Like, that was
a, hey, that, like, I think that is a perfect
I'm not the teeth out.
Can I ask a question?
Of course.
Are we allowed to nominate a draft for 207?
Oh, doing a draft episode?
I don't know.
Because I'm getting 207 vibes here.
This is the first time I've wanted to nominate something, but it's a draft.
I don't think we can 207 a supplemental, but maybe we need to designate another slot for that.
Yeah, it's tough.
Maybe we should look in the...
The Golden Sup.
Jeff, I want to apologize to you because I'm really looking at my board right now, and I was swinging red after what happened with that first pick.
happened with that first pick.
Mashed potato was number two on my board.
It's great.
What? What?
I was swinging red.
I was wrong. I was swinging red.
I was swinging red. I was swinging red.
It's a great pick.
I didn't have to confess that. I chose to.
I appreciate that.
Andrew, I really appreciate that. It takes a big man.
What the fuck?
And I've swung red a few times in my life.
I know what it's like.
Get blinders on.
How is the potato draft the craziest draft you've ever done?
Mash potato. Great pick. French fries
terrible pick.
Well,
mashed potato
bad pick,
French fries bad
pick,
mashed potato
good pick.
Potato chip bad pick.
Potato chip bad pick.
I just have,
I think more respect
for the potato
than some of it.
Holy shit.
All right.
Jeff,
what pick are you
going to fuck Andrew
up with this time?
I hope I don't
fuck anybody up
with this pick
because we're not here
to fuck anybody up.
We're,
but we're here to
come together
in fellowship
and celebrate
the
humble potato. I do feel like last time I highlighted the potato at its most pillowy and soft,
so now I'd like to flip the script and highlight the potato at its crunchiest and most savory.
And to that end, I'm going to select the crispy hash brown off the board.
Great pick. That was my number three. Think Waffle House hash browns. Oh, like shredded, shredded,
hash browns. Do you want me to change it to shredded hash browns, Jeff?
Krispy shredded hash brown. Sure, however you want to say it.
No, no, it's however you want to say.
Yeah, shredded, shredded, yeah.
Okay, that's perfect.
Crispy shredded hash brown is what you want.
That was on my board. Good pick.
Not a gooey shredded hash brown.
It was a great pick.
Now, you want the crisp.
You want the crunch.
You want it crispy, you want that crunch.
Oh, it's so good.
You were making them yourselves there for a while, right?
I was.
I love doing a crispy shredded hash brown for sure.
It is a thing, though, where if you order it,
sometimes they fuck up the crisp.
They do.
It really ruins it.
It doesn't always travel well if you get it to go.
Oh, definitely doesn't travel well.
Yeah.
There's a floor with most potato-related meals, I feel like,
but the floor for the hash pound is shockingly low.
I agree.
It is.
It's a low floor, high ceiling pick.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Oh, it's like fucking, it's like the tallest skyscraper in the world.
High.
That's ceiling.
It's like 1,400 feet in the air.
It's like a building in Dubai.
Yeah.
And just an endless, you want an endless amount when it's,
when it's, when it's, when it's,
on that ceiling?
Oh, there's not enough.
When they hit the ceiling?
Oh, yeah.
Just more.
Just give more.
Another word.
Completely agree.
Well, crispy shredded hash brown is off the board.
We turn our attention back to Andrew, who kicked us off with Tater Tot.
He has his second pick, and then right after that, his third pick, Andrew, sky's the limit.
What are you going with?
I was debating between shredded hash brown and this pick.
So I love that Jeff took what he did.
made it easy for me.
I am drafting a potato croquette.
Once again, I feel like another classic example
of you want that crunch on the outside.
You want the fluffiness on the inside.
That's a great. That's a good pick.
This is not.
I forgot about these.
I want to make sure I...
Oh, these are the small ones.
Is that right?
Or are they the big one?
Like a little ball?
No, they're bigger.
This is sort of a...
They can be.
Here, I'm going to draft one
to what I typically would associate.
as a potato croquette.
I see it's like largely a Japanese restaurant item here.
I see this.
Yeah, I keep seeing that as well.
Oh.
I've had longer ones.
Is that what you're talking about?
Is that what you're talking about, Andrew?
That's it right there?
No, what I,
what I just submitted?
Oh, now those are good.
Yeah.
Yes, they are.
Yeah, that looks good.
That's like a taught XL.
That looks like Panko Cress.
Yeah, it's okay.
He picked Tater Tot twice.
It's weird.
That's a Japanese dish.
It typically will have like some corn
or like vegetables on the inside of it as well.
It is a deep fried kind of like mash in the middle.
Get the Panko breadcrumbs on the outside.
It provides a delicious crunch.
It can come with a variety of sauces if you feel like.
But just base, I typically will eat it plain.
It is so good.
If you're, I don't know if it is a regional Japanese type thing,
but if you go to a Japanese restaurant and it has it available as an order,
I would highly recommend it.
Delicious food.
I love it.
A great potato.
Top your potato.
Well, it's off the board now, potato croquette,
but you don't have to worry about that, Andrew,
because you have the third pick.
What are you drafting?
I sure do.
And this is where it gets a little bit trickier,
because I already have a fry that I really like.
I didn't realize I could draft french fries
or else I probably would have done that.
You didn't pick the variant.
This is like, I don't.
I'm going to go with a variation of a classic.
There are multiple.
styles to this, I'm going to pick a hassleback potato.
Oh, you motherfucker.
You motherfucker. You motherfucker.
It's so good. I thought I could
drop that deep. I didn't think people
would pick in that. Same. No, I had
just fucked my list. It was my third
or fourth pick, depending on what you were. I'm in trouble.
So good. You got the slices.
You got the crispiness.
It's a hearty dish.
Great pick. Visually beautiful.
Love me a hassle back.
Oh, fuck.
If a potato could grow legs and stop walking around it, be that one.
Just from the look of it.
Is that right?
It's the most bug-looking potato.
You're not wrong.
It does look like the thing monster converting into or out of a potato form.
For sure.
It looks like the brain bug from Starship Troopers.
It's very wavy.
There you.
Hasselback.
Yeah, they're going to get the ball and score.
That's a great pick, Andrew.
That's a good one.
Thank you.
Eric, I will say, saying that you didn't know.
you can draft french fries is fucking insane but that's fine because we go to jeff i already i said my piece
jeff jeff you have the third your third pick go ahead what do you have in your draft i got to be honest
with you my fourth pick was set i think it's still safe okay uh it would have to be for what it is but my
my third pick was going to be hassle back potato crazy however it was a close one between the hassleback
potato and this uh i initially uh i'm weaving a story about the humble potato i talked about how
it pertains to my roots
personally, but also
talked about how we can have
an amazing meal out of a soft potato and then
out of an exceptionally crispy potato, both
humble dishes. But the beautiful
thing about the potato is that it can also be elevated
into something sophisticated, like potatoes
are agrotton. Fuck, shit!
Yeah.
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Look at that. Look at that. Look at that in the chat.
Look at that. Put that in your mouth.
G-R-A-T-I-N?
G-R-A-T-I-N?
G-R-I-N.
Yeah, that's it.
Yeah.
Aug rotten.
Got it.
You say it a lot.
You don't spell it that much, but a great pick.
Like hors d'oeuvre.
Yeah, I think you can put this sort of to start the meal as a side for like the main meal.
And it's going to, it's going to be the thing that people take a bite of and go, oh, dude, this is good.
Creamy, so rich.
Yeah, there's just.
Full of flavor.
The richness when it comes to like a potato, which is a bland thing.
To be able to add stuff and make it that good is really, like, exceptional.
If Andrew will allow flavors to be added to things, then potatoes au gratin.
Of course. Yeah, absolutely.
Delicious pick.
Pretty, pretty good.
You could kind of sit there and eat the whole thing.
So, damn, it's a good one.
Gavin, you a potatoes all grottin guy?
Love him.
I loved Jeff's next door neighbor used to make him real good.
Oh, really?
That's true.
I forgot about that.
Yeah, phenomenal.
Why were you getting potatoes al grotten for me?
We used to eat together all the time.
Really?
Like every weekend we'd grill together, yeah.
Yeah, Chabot come over and bring a tray.
It's awesome.
Yeah.
They're who I learned how to grill lettuce from and on dive from.
Really?
Grill lettuce?
Grill?
Lettuce?
Like you take like a big iceberg thing and like you put it on the grill?
Not iceberg, but like on dive or something a little nuttier and thicker.
I don't think you've ever had grilled lettuce.
That's really good.
Interesting.
Well, Gavin, potatoes o'grotten.
the board, what do you have for your third pick?
My next pick is very breakfasty, and I feel like,
similar to the hash brown, easy to botch.
It's a little bit of a hit or miss when you order them.
But when they're good, they're phenomenal.
I can just shovel them in.
It's home fries.
Ah.
See, they're weaker than, than hash browns to me.
They definitely are, but I really like that.
them, boy, they're, I think the thing about home fries is the same thing with hash browns
where when you get the good ones.
Yes, exactly.
Fuck, uh.
When they're good, so easy to shovel them into your face, like the best shoveling food.
I feel like a home fry has to have good seasoning.
Yes, that's the thing.
And you can't dry them out.
That's the issue that I run into a lot.
Places just dry these fuckers out.
my wife and I will go to Kirby Lane to get breakfast.
And it's always just, well, I guess we'll see what the home fries are going to be.
It's either going to be like the blandest, softest ones or the crispiest most season ones.
And you just flip a coin and go for it.
They're never good, though.
There was this place we would go get breakfast at in Detroit all the time or in Gross Point.
And Emily would insist that we go there because they had really great crispy hash browns.
And nobody else in the family was super into the place.
but we all appreciated how much Emily is into the place.
So we all would go every, you know, every single or whatever,
even though there's a big ass line.
And they replaced the home, the crispy hash browns with home fries.
Oh, no.
And she hasn't been back since.
Oh, no.
It has liberated the entire family.
Wow.
I like her too because I think it's, I didn't ever see him a lot in England.
And it was like a nice, yeah, nice new thing to discover.
How, what is, how does a potato most presented in, during, in breakfast form in England to you?
You can get hash browns.
You'd get, like a hash brown patty, like McDonald's style, or, like, shredded, like, we're talking about?
I've had both.
Okay.
Sometimes just, like, roast potatoes.
I think Home Price is a great pick, and getting it this deep in the draft is also a really good one.
Gavin, you got a really good board except for the beans.
It just goes to show how deep the potato's roster is.
It is.
Yeah.
It's a personal preference.
And you can see how it gets deeper.
As I go with my pick.
Sweet.
The sweet potato.
The sweet potato is such a great gear shift from the regular potato.
You can do it mash.
You can do it baked.
You can still cube it.
I mean,
I'm,
okay.
Okay.
I might be with Andrew.
I don't think this counts.
You think that the type of potato being...
You can't take fry.
You can't take a potato type, a style of thing.
You got to take a dish.
See, I think what they're getting at here is that this is not baked, this is fried.
You're just taking a one, the sweet potato overall.
I am taking the sweet potato overall.
Jeff?
I don't think you can.
So just a bake sweet potato.
I would say it has to be able to a bake or a fry or a...
Jeff?
Man, I'm of two minds here.
There's two wolves in me.
I mean, it's just, it's not a potato.
It's a type of potato.
It's a type of potato.
It's also not, no, it's not even a potato.
Technically it's not a potato.
It's in the fucking name.
Yeah, but it's not technically a potato.
It's a vegetable.
But we're a potato draft, and it's in the...
I'm fine with it being taken as a type.
If you want to take yam fries.
Which I am taking.
I'm taking a type of potato.
How about this?
You're taking an ingredient and a dish.
Because you're draft.
Hold on. Hold on. Let's compromise.
Eric, I know that when you think of sweet potato in your head, you're thinking of a
prepared in a certain way.
What way are you seeing it?
No, no.
I'm just seeing it on my counter.
haven't been cooked yet.
How would you eat?
I'm ready to jump on it.
Oh, I could, you can do any kind of thing to it.
As I said before, it'd be like if I took russet potato
was like, yeah, imagine baked, imagine it is a fry type.
Yeah, imagine cutting it down.
Imagine it is a mashed potato.
That's an insane pick.
I mean, I guess raw is one way to eat it.
I mean, it's a sweet potato.
I mean, I disagree.
If you pick raw sweet potato, I'm fine with that.
Raw sweet potatoes, I think we're going to specify.
I didn't put raw. I put sweet.
I think you have to specify.
So you're, I just put sweet potato.
You need a specific.
You gotta specify, I think.
It's a type of potato.
I mean, it's a different vegetable.
So it's a type, it's sweet potato.
We are drafting a type of potato.
Right, but everything to this point is how it's prepared.
Okay.
Yeah, but that's just how,
that's just the loose interpretation we've all decided to agree.
No, I think there's a spirit to this.
Fundamentally on how these things were.
I think the spirit is type.
Type of potato.
The furthest from.
every other pick, but as Jeff is saying,
we do have to, it's our
interpretation of what the draft is that's
important. It's a sweet potato. I think
Mr. Movie Theater would agree
there's a spirit thing. Oh, I know.
Certainly not in the spirit. I don't
because
you guys have taken
these things, sweet potato
is still on the board and I
don't understand how you even said
it's a type of potato. The rule written in the box office
thing for the star is most movies
Oh, no. I agree.
Oh, but there's a spirit to this sign.
There is a spirit to it.
And I think I'm well within the spirit of type of potato when type of potato is sweet.
We must be to have nobody take like a russet potato at this point if you're taking sweet potato.
You don't have to take russet potato.
If you don't, I can't tell the difference between a russet and a golden or whatever the fuck.
But I know a sweet potato.
It is like its own, I mean, it is weird because I do consider it its own subcategory.
I feel strongly about this.
But if you guys are saying four to one that I can't take it, I won't.
take it. I mean, you can take it. No, no, I'm saying
I can take a variant of it.
Eric, I'm saying you can take it if you put
the word raw in front. I'm not putting anything else.
It's sweet potato. I'm drafting sweet
potato. So if you're telling me I can't take sweet
potato, that's fine. And I can
pick something else. I mean, if you want to draft that knowing
that it's not actually a potato,
then that's fine. It's a type
of potato draft. Which is a name.
Type of potato, sweet potato.
I don't have to pick it. You guys
tell me right now, I'll pick something else.
I vote you can pick it.
Oh, Andrew.
I think it should be a variant as my, I vote.
I think you can pick and have you a weird pick.
You can have your pick.
All right, there you go.
Let the audience.
Sweet potato.
Off the board.
Sorry, Andrew.
He just wanted it for himself for his fourth pick.
I think he might have wanted a variant for his fourth pick.
No, it's not even on my board.
I mean, I didn't pick it either.
It's not great.
Sweet potato off the board.
I hate sweet potatoes.
Love it.
I love it.
I love them.
They're fantastic.
Is it a baked potato or?
They're so good.
They're great and they're not potatoes.
Fantastic potato, the sweet potato.
And Nick, you have the last pick of the third round and your fourth and final pick.
What are you going with?
Can't be sweet.
I'll do my best not to go sweet here.
I'm going to go with smashed potatoes.
Oh, great.
So you boil these, you boil like small little potatoes and then you flatten them and then you
put those bad boys in the oven, you roast them at 425, a little bit of olive oil, salt pepper.
Oh, my God.
They got a beautiful crunch.
Nick that you actually draft yellow potato
so that way you could also think about them as like
a boil maybe or a smash
just really cover all your bases
no there's a spirit to this and I really want to go with it
interesting I agree well within it
I told you guys tell me to pick something else
yeah nope
Smash potatoes is a really good dick
thank you I love it's a great breakfast
smash potato
go to like a diner and get a smash potato is wonderful
they're so good homemade too
They're the simplest really to make of...
Oh, yeah.
Absolutely.
Aside from baked, I guess.
It's a great thing.
You just cut that fucker and have and put them in the oven.
That brings me to my final pick, which is tough,
because I really do have a lot, and there are a lot of good ones.
And I'm going to go with my gut here, because I'm hungry.
And I'm going to pick pierogi.
If there's a problem with parogi, I will change it.
But the most of the time, no problem.
The basic ingredient is a potato in the middle.
I have no issue with the pick outside of I just don't personally love them.
I mean, but I respect a pro.
I guess a potato parogi because there's a lot of different kinds.
Yeah, but they don't all have potato.
Most of the combos are potato.
You can't fucking die on this hell, Jeff, when you let sweet pass by.
No, I just was in Detroit eating pierogies.
And I...
Do you have any sweet pierogies?
No, I don't have any sweet parogies.
I don't know next time.
I mean, I'll change it.
No, no, that's fine.
Brogey off the board
Andrew's gonna have to rethink what he's gonna pick, yeah
It's potato the outside or the inside of a progi
The inside? Inside. Just the main ingredient
I think the progi is... So I could
I could draft like Spanish omelet?
Andrew, could he draft Spanish omelet?
I wouldn't, but you know
You know what? I tried to uphold the law in this draft
And I've given up, I've given up. Delete it. Delete it.
Here, let's go with this other one.
Let's go with this other one.
Let's go with this other one.
I don't know if you can.
No, it's fine.
I can't fucking sit still in my...
Are you going to pick...
Nick, are you going to pick Spanish omelet?
It's fine.
I love a Spanish omelet.
I want to drop that.
You can.
You probably can.
I mean, if Perug is on that,
Spanish omelet might be.
Tornado potato.
What is a tornado potato?
It's a tornado.
It's a tornado.
It's a tornado.
It's a potato on a stick.
Oh, like the spiral potato on a stick.
Okay.
Here, let me get you a picture.
Yeah.
There you go. Enjoy.
I've just never heard of them as a tornado potato.
Yeah, they're pretty good.
Yeah, they're delicious.
Sort of like a skewered hassleback.
Oh, it looks lovely.
It's great.
Nick is upset. No one told him he couldn't have...
Dude, this is gonna be the piece of content that breaks us as a company.
No, it's fine.
No, not have four unanswered slots.
Let it not be said.
Let it not be said.
We're never gonna fucking finish.
Now, Tornado potato is all.
Potato Potato is off the board.
Sorry, fellas.
I have a tough decision to make.
I have a tough decision to make.
Spanish omelet?
Do I want...
Do I want parogi?
Do I want Spanish omelet?
I mean, you're already out of this, so it doesn't...
Do I want Spanish omelet?
Imagine how fucking crazy it'd be if somebody texted you.
Hey, pick me up potato chip.
It means nothing.
My fourth and final pick.
Couch.
There you go.
That's great.
It's a phenomenal pick.
Thank you very much.
Andrew thought.
That's well within the spirit.
Yeah.
Eat up.
Go for it.
It's like drafting shitty camera.
That was on my board with shitty PC.
Really?
That's awesome.
He was on my board.
Gavin, Gavin, Gavin.
Spanish omelet.
It's a toss-up.
It's a toss-up between Spanish omelet.
and shitty technology.
I'm gonna have to go shitty tech.
I think...
Yeah!
I think it's a valid pick.
It is. It was on my board.
Potato PC is what I thought of.
I think Eric's saying it is,
it was on my board,
is the least validating requirement for this draft.
All right, Tater tots, you got it.
No sweat.
Yeah.
That's a great.
I would go with his.
Legitimate pick.
Didn't know he could pick French fries.
At the end of those.
We should all pick the shittiest pick in our opinion.
Okay.
I know what mine is.
It's easy for, you guys get mad about sweet all you want.
I got no problem with that.
Not mad.
Tater tot number one.
Not mad about it.
Crazy still.
Shitty tech, I think, is a great pick, Gavin.
Absolutely.
I think that is a fantastic pick.
Filmed on a potato.
I don't think there's a bad pick because all potatoes are good.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
I think shitty tech is a really, really good one.
But Jeff.
I think Eric has two picks.
We go to you with your fourth and final.
Didn't have a problem with couch, but it's on there, baby.
Jeff, you got fourth and final pick.
What do you have?
I'm tempted to go for the comedy of it all and pick Mr.
But I, uh, I, uh, why fucking fucking, okay.
I gotta be honest.
Yeah, what on my pick?
I got to be.
I say, oh, I'm not going to take this thing.
Then why even say it?
Just not say it.
I'm tempted to take it.
Just make your pick.
I'm sorry.
All right.
This is my lot of time to go through my process of trying to figure out what
P-A-P potato-l How do I fucking know you're picking Mr. Potato Head?
I have no fucking clue you're picking Mr. Potato Head.
There's a million other potatoes on the fucking board.
I'm telling you that I'm stuck between a choice.
Do I want to pick Mr. Potato Head?
Do I want a potato bun?
Do I want a potato paddy?
I don't know.
Maybe a potato casserole.
He picked shitty tech.
He picked couch.
Mr. Potato Head seems like a fun logical conclusion to that.
I want to be on the fun train.
Chew-choo!
Ha-ha.
I want to be driving the fun train.
But I'm saying I have to be honest to myself and stay zen.
And when I think of potatoes,
and I ask myself the question,
if I could only have potatoes one way for the rest of my life,
and I could have them as much as I want,
I would eat it every day.
What's the one prepared potato way I'd want to go?
Spanish omit.
And the answer to that is my mom's potato soup,
which you've never had.
So you don't know what it is.
But it's the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life.
She's been making it for me my entire life since those early days in the trailer.
And there is nothing, no flavor has ever touched my lips that tastes as good as my mom's potato soup.
So instead of what I think is an awesome pick in Mr. Potato Head, I'm going to go with my mom's potato soup because I'm being honest to myself.
I love the pick.
I just felt you didn't have to derail the Mr. Potato Head train.
I just want to be clear.
I don't know anybody derailed any trains.
Absolutely.
He certainly tried to derail my pick.
That's sweeter than Eric's sweet potato pick.
It's a sweet one, but I don't know what I'd say that.
Imagine, imagine a sweet potato soup, Jeff.
What do you guys think about a condiments draft?
It's like saying imagine tomato soup.
Yeah, imagine tomato soup.
You guys want to have drafted yam.
Well, that is another word.
Yeah, I drafted sweet potato.
Andrew, do you want Spanish omit?
Or what's your fourth and final pick?
I mean.
Got a lot of picks
This trap is nuts, dude
This is a lot of picks
Oh boy
You want me to list all the things
I'm not going to draft first
And then make a paper
Why would you do that?
That's crazy
Choo-choo, I'm on the fun train
Would I be allowed to draft a yam fry
If I wanted to? I don't know
He's got sweet potato. He's got all the potatoes
Um
I'm gonna draft
A potato bun
it's a good pick
it's a good pick
it's a good pick
it's a great thing
it on a sandwich
it supports a lot of
other dishes
in a way that is
unique to kind of
other potato things
where I view a potato
typically as the star
of the dish
potato bun really
adds support to
a variety of other items
better than a regular
version of potato
absolutely better
significantly better
it's actually a potato
there's potato and a potato
bun
oh cool
thanks
they call it
they call them
you can tell
that he really meant it when he said, oh, cool.
Well, I thought it could possibly be like, you know, you get like a beef tomato.
There's not a cow in it, but it's just got a funny name.
We're not from it.
We're not from England.
I was going to swing right at you.
And then I remember Jeff argued that it was in the name.
And I put the gloves down.
It was not your argument that it was in the name.
Tadobun.
Great pick.
But there you have it.
Potato draft.
And here is the final board.
Now we're going to kill each other in worms.
Andrew is drafted Tater Tott, potato croquette, Hasselbeck, potato, and potato bun.
Jeff has drafted mashed potato, crispy shredded hash brown, potatoes algrotten, and potato
cylinder.
That's a great list, Jeff.
Gavin, he's drafted French fries.
How?
Who could have thought?
Jacket potato with baked beans, home fries, and shitty tech.
Eric has picked potato chips.
Yoki, sweet, and couch.
Nick has picked twice-baked potato.
Latka, smashed potatoes, and tornado.
Great. Potato. Boys, what's on your honorable mentions list? Mine is baked. Scalloped.
Scaliped is good. Curly waffle fry. Crinkle cut.
I like that none of the other fries even came out. That's pretty much it.
What's the deep roster, right? Jeff's right. Deep roster. I got no respect for the scalloped potato potato.
What about like a casserole? Yeah. I love a casserole. Love potato cassero. What did you write on your piece of paper, Jeff?
Oh, I was wrong, I think.
I wrote sweet potato.
No, I love sweet potato.
I know, that's why it's on the board.
Scallet potato.
Yeah. Scallop potato?
Scallop potato.
What do you have against a scowl potato?
Just think it sucks.
Wait, what?
Yeah, I just don't like it.
Go respect for it.
Wow.
My honorable mention was ammunition.
Ammunition?
Like a potato launcher?
A sput gun, supersonic potato cannon.
They make great projectiles.
Ah, I typically joke about the
fact that you're just not a food guy, but like, holy shit.
Wow.
Those are the three types of fries he's had on his list, and that's it.
I mean, every type of fry and then computer and almost potato gun.
It's a regulation dropped.
This, uh, this draft was a journey.
This is a weird one.
What a trip.
What a great trip.
Yeah.
I just don't, I don't know how you thought you didn't, you didn't know you could draft
French fries.
It's just such a vague pick.
It's the boat.
I've come around to it being the, yeah, it's, I thought it was fine now.
It was fine the whole time.
At first, I was worried that you were doing an all-encompassing bullshit pick like Gavin does.
It's the, it's the one of french fries is number one.
I asked Gracie, I asked Gracie this morning,
Gracie, what is the number one potato preparation, the potato type that you would pick?
And she said, who is this?
French fry.
And I said, great.
What's number two?
And she said, could you pick cheese fries?
And I said, I don't know.
But I'm probably not going to.
And she said, okay.
And then that was that was it.
So French fries was number one for Gracie.
I thought it'd be number one for everyone.
I thought there was no way Andrew would have a problem with it.
Yeah.
I can't believe it was number three.
I think it was number three.
I think it hurts Andrew's board.
I think it hurts Andrew's board like crazy.
And I do think,
I think God was going to take it.
then moved on from there. I think it's the most obvious choice out of all. I think it is the number
one choice. It just wasn't the honest choice for me. Honestly, I'd prefer a tater tot over a French
fry any day, but nobody orders a French fry. I'm fried out, to be honest. Hey guys, get in the
comments and let us know if you've ever ordered a French fry. There's probably a thousand people
ordering French fries every second we've been arguing about it. Do they say French though? And some of
them or my wife. That's my point. Nobody says
French fry. You only just to drop fries?
Your fries. No, no.
Because that's an illegal pick. Oh, no.
It's definitely legal. No, that's bullshit. Just leave
it. Leave it, Gavin. It's like taking potato chips.
You're so right and he's so wrong, it doesn't even
matter. Truly. True.
My argument, Nick, is that French fries
and the term fries are the same pick.
They mean the same thing.
How are you feeling now, Nick?
I disagree with that.
What's a French fries?
It's a type of fry.
What type?
French.
What type?
French cut of fry.
We're going back to round one.
I expect more from that.
We've never done that before.
Have we ever done a reverse draft?
God,
now we spend again and then we pull stuff off the board
and the order we want it.
Oh, what if we did a worst draft picks draft?
Man.
Oh, God.
Well, boys, that's the potato.
draft. Let us know in the comments what you would have drafted, which ones we missed.
And get in, vote on the poll. Who won this potato draft? I think it's, I mean,
I think it's pretty obvious. Yeah. I think it's pretty obvious, but that's okay.
