Gary Senese plays a character named Kevin Dunn and there's an actor in the movie named Kevin Dunn. Like, that's just his name. And there was a mix-up and he got Gary Sinise's hotel switch. which was like a penhouse. No way. And then they realized that they gave him Gary Seneese's suite and he got kicked out and put into a basic hotel chain. Wow.

So there are two Kevin Duns. There's a fictional and real Kevin Dunn in this Snake Eyes movie. Is there a fictional Gary Sinise? Oh, maybe. You didn't go to that. So Brian De Palma, long and storied career, made a lot of stuff, maybe best known for making the video dancing in the dark. the Bruce Springsteen music video. But you might also know him

from Carlito's Way in Mission Impossible. Mission Impossible is the movie that he made right before this. Do you know the movie that he made right after this? No idea. I looked at it and I couldn't tell you. Look who's talking three.

He made... I like a confidential. He made a movie in the year 2000 called Mission to Mars. Oh, yes. Tim Robbins, Gary Senees, Don Cheadle. Is that the one where he takes his helmet off

and he goes all frosty? I believe that is the movie. Nobody saw this movie. I don't think anybody like this movie. So it's really weird that he went from Carlito's Way in Mission Impossible to just like, oof, oof. Carlito's Way is such a good film. It really is.

And he made Bonfire the Vanities. There's a lot. Oh, Bonfire The Vanity is great. I mean, I don't know that it held up, but it was great back in the day. Mission to Mars is one of those movies where I kept catching the middle of it on TV, but I never saw the beginning or the end. There were a few years where Mission to Mars was constantly on, but you're never allowed to watch the beginning or the end. You can watch 20 minutes on, but then the last 20 minutes are a mystery to you.

Would you say that Mission to Mars is a middle only movie then? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah. Wow. Just one big act two. Yep.

So that's a lot of De Palma stuff, like the Untouchables. He's just done so much cool stuff, Scarface and Blowout and everything. But this is definitely, I would say, listen, I don't want to say on his decline, but I don't know that Snake Eyes is going to be the movie that you think it's going to be if you came in watching Scarface.

Are you guys ready to watch Snake House? Yeah. I watched this for the first time last year when I watched all the summer 98 films. I'm ready for a re-watch. I have never seen it, and I'd never heard of it before Eric mentioned it. I don't want to, zero spoilers, but I do.

And it's like, man, I don't, it's like layered in a way that you can't wrap your head around. It's incredible. And when it works, it's phenomenal. It's incredible. always, when it doesn't work, it's phenomenal.
