Starting point is 00:02:12 far. All right, tonight, Biden is supposed to address the nation. So we will be talking about that tomorrow. At the end of this conversation, we'll have more politics. That's just the age that we're in. We're talking to Glenn Beck. Oh my gosh, no one can make predictions like Glenn Beck. I mean, his analysis is just so, it's captivating. I was sitting there thinking, I mean, you just kind of get the chills, but I was just thinking, what does this, what does this man know? Like, what goes on inside his head as far as just being able to think creatively, but also, I won't say see the future, but just based on the understanding that he has of history and the insight that he has into the present, it just seems to give him, I don't know, a special sense of what's to come. And so you are going to get a lot out of the conversation that we are having at the end of this episode. But for a second, we are going to take a pause from politics to talk about something really important because this person has a lot of influence.

Starting point is 00:03:20 And it is a follow up on a story that we reported on last year. We did a whole episode on someone by the name of Chris Tyson. Chris Tyson is the sidekick to Mr. Beast. Mr. Beast has an incredibly popular YouTube channel, 305 million subscribers, really hard to even wrap your mind around that number. He has a pretty young audience and he garners tens of millions, hundreds of millions of views every month. He does kind of these crazy out-of-the-box projects, like building a well in Africa or restoring sight to blind people through medical technology and really poor countries.

Starting point is 00:04:07 But he also just does a lot of silly videos too. But obviously it has a lot of influence. And Chris Tyson has been a part of his channel for a long time. And he last year announced that he was actually going to transition so called into a woman. goes by Ava Chris Tyson now. And so Ava and then Chris, not with a CH anymore, but with a K. And he tries to dress like a woman, of course, as all gender deceived people do. He claims this is who he always was. But he also is a dad. And he was married and he had a super sweet family. He is a young toddler son and had this beautiful wife. I believe.

Starting point is 00:04:56 that he was also raised in the Bible Belt, was raised a Christian. And so this was a really strange and really heartbreaking development when he said, you know what, I'm leaving my family and I am going to become who I have always been, which is this woman named Ava. Super disturbing. He got a lot of support from people online, of course, that are for that thing. And then he got a lot of criticism, too. I mean, mainly because of the abandonment of his family, but also his very strange, bizarre attempt to try to become something that he can never be, which is a woman. But it also came out during that time, and this is what we focused a lot of our attention on when we were talking about this last year, is that he has an anime obsession. And I get plenty of pushback

Starting point is 00:05:45 whenever I try to make this correlation, but there is a correlation. There undoubtedly is a correlation, at least, between obsessive anime consumption. and being deceived about your gender. And we actually talked to a detransitioner, Soren Aldako, on this couch. And she talks about that. She talks about not only her anime obsession when she was a teen, but also the nature of anime and the depiction is in anime and why it tends to support gender deception and gender confusion and gender fluidity because there's a lot of hyper sexualization in some forms of

Starting point is 00:06:27 anime. A lot of times the men are very girly. The young characters in anime are very voluptuous. It's very strange. And now a lot of people will say not all forms of anime. There are a lot of sub-genres in anime, and that's fair. I'm not saying everyone who watches anime is confused about their gender. I'm not saying that all forms of anime are evil, but you as a parent need to be very watchful. You need to be very careful if your child is consuming anime. Really, if they're consuming any kind of content, but especially anime, because I think the messages and the depictions are very subtle. They're very subversive, though. So pay attention to that. So people had tracked down Chris Tyson's previous tweets where he is talking about his love for anime. And it was kind of just like,

Starting point is 00:07:18 Yeah, obviously, makes a lot of sense. There's almost always that tie there. But it wasn't just any kind of anime. It was a specific kind of anime called Lolly. And I had the displeasure of finding out what Lolly was when I was looking at some of his previous tweets. He tweeted in 2016, so this was well before his so-called transition. He tweeted, nothing gets my knob a crank in. like some Lolly. He actually deleted the tweet last year when he was receiving a lot of criticism for his decision to try to become the opposite sex. Lollie is a form of anime porn. Okay. So not just anime, but anime pornography in which the female characters are depicted not only as children, okay? Not only as children, but even infants, babies in diapers. This is cartoon pornography that Chris Tyson back in 2016 said that he was fond of, said, turned him on. And we also have a picture of a tweet from a while ago back when he still identified, quote, unquote, as a man of a picture that he had apparently commissioned from an artist named Shadbase. Now Shadbase, again, I had the misfortune of figuring out what these things are.

Starting point is 00:08:54 Shadbase apparently creates anime pornography. And he draws, he illustrates anime pornography, including this Lolly L-O-L-I pornography. And Chris Tyson very proudly posted on then Twitter a picture of the poster that he had had commissioned. The text says bonus fidget spinners to really throw in some extra autism. I won't show the entire picture on here because it is pretty explicit. But the picture that Chris Tyson posted is very disturbing. Okay. We've got clearly we've got a young girl.

Starting point is 00:09:35 And it's very clear that she's young because she has braces. Okay. This depiction, this very sexually explicit depiction of this girl. She's got braces. She's got a gap in her teeth. You can tell she's even, and sorry to kind of be explicit, but this is part of it. She's even, she's flat chested, but she's not wearing very many clothes. This is awful.

Starting point is 00:09:58 I'm just trying to explain to you who Chris Tyson has always been. Bigfoot is real, and he tried to eat my explicit word. And then you've got a hat that says, please be patient. I have autism. Okay. And then she also has a gun in her mouth and her finger on the trigger. So that is who Chris Tyson is. Those are the kinds of things that he likes. And so it has come as no surprise to me at all that Chris Tyson has now been exposed for allegedly talking to a minor sexually. And he has. And he has. has now quit Mr. Beast. He is no longer a part of that team because of these allegations. So we'll get into the details in just a second. So there's been an uproar on social media over the past few days because of a series of YouTube videos by someone named Prism 42 that claimed to show online conversations between Chris Tyson and a minor, about nude photos. Also, inappropriate Snapchat messages sent by Tyson to the minor and Instagram

Starting point is 00:12:51 posts of Tyson and the minor who had visited Tyson in college. Now, this was apparently a fan of Mr. Beast who was 13 years old when Tyson was 20 years old. This 13 year old won a Mr. Beast online competition and then after that Tyson apparently continued communicating with the teen on public online forums before meeting in person when the teen turned 16 of course that would have made Mr. Beast or that would have made Chris Tyson 23 at that point. So here are some examples according to this video of the inappropriate relationship. The focus of the YouTube video is the age differential. Why is a college age, why is a college age man friends with a middle school boy? This is a boy. Why is a college age male so friendly with a middle school boy that he is sharing sexual jokes

Starting point is 00:13:49 with him? The YouTube video clarifies that he is not necessarily calling Tyson a pedophile, but drawing attention to what was at the very least, a very inappropriate relationship between an adult male and a teenage boy. There's a screenshot of lava, what this is. this young man goes by sharing a Snapchat from Chris in 2019 saying, I got a weird snap from Chris. The message from Chris reads, coming to America spelled in a sexually explicit way. According to YouTube or Prism 42,

Starting point is 00:14:27 Tyson allegedly joked about selling nudes to the minor. Again, Tyson is about 21 years old at the time and lava is about 14 years old. You can see the tweets going back and forth. Chris says to this 14-year-olds, I posted some fire nudes for you. Please no share. So these are the allegations against Chris Tyson, that Chris Tyson was speaking inappropriately and sexually towards a minor. Now, this person, again, whose name is Lava, who goes by Lava, responded to this. he says these videos are massive lies in twisting the truth.

Starting point is 00:15:05 Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of. Can you do me a favor and comment on these videos and tell them to stop spreading lies? The situation takes away from children who are actively being exploited every day online. I am not a victim of anything being claimed in these videos at all. But again, we've got some other disturbing tweets, some other disturbing tweets, some other disturbing posts by Chris Tyson that have now been resurfaced, that have now been uncovered because of these other allegations. The X account Reddit lies uncovered some of these

Starting point is 00:15:41 posts from Tyson's Reddit account where he said in June 2017, why the F would you use your VR headset for anything other than 3D lolly gang rape porn? Remember, that's child porn. October 2017, but can you still get teen love? 14 year olds always stay 14. He also commented on a link posted on what was then Twitter that redirected users to a pornographic comic of Kyu and his mother. Cayu is a popular children's show about a four-year-old boy. Another pedophilic-seeming tweet in 2017, Tyson wrote, That B-I-T-C-H looks good for a four-year-old. Multiple posts show Tyson interacting with Shadman, as we've already said,

Starting point is 00:16:21 an artist known for drawing young characters in sexual poses. In one post, Tyson begs Shadman to draw a 10-year-old animate girl. Other posts show Tyson sexualizing cartoon children. So are the allegations about him talking purposely sexually to lava? Do they amount to accusations of pedophilia? Lava said he was never exploited. I think that we can say in the very least that this is a pattern of extremely disturbing behavior. Are there others out there whom he has talked to inappropriately made so-called edgy jokes with?

Starting point is 00:17:01 Look, an adult should never be making edgy jokes with a minor, ever. Maybe it wasn't explicitly sexually predatory. Maybe he didn't really send nudes to him. Maybe there wasn't a relationship there. But you should never even have a friendship with a 14-year-old boy as a 20-year-old. That's weird. That in and of itself is weird. That is strange behavior. A 14-year-old boy doesn't even have the words to be able to articulate why that feels wrong. And for Chris Tyson, in a position of influence and even power for this young person, this young person was a Mr. Beast fan, he probably felt, okay, I've got to be really nice and responsive to Chris Tyson. This is a really big deal. It is entirely, entirely gross and inappropriate. at the very, very least. And I think in the context of the rest of everything else, yeah, we can keep raising these red flags. That's what I'll say there. And this is not uncommon.

Starting point is 00:18:09 This is extremely common when it comes to these grown men who decide seemingly overnight that they are the opposite sex. They almost always, it seems, have this history, have this pattern. because as I've said many times this gender deception, especially when it comes to grown men, it's a sexual fetish. It's not gender dysphoria. I don't even really say as much gender confusion anymore because really these grown men are acting out a humiliation fetish that typically involves some kind of addiction to child sex abuse material. That's the truth. And this is a great example. This whole issue, but this person is a great example of the harms of toxic empathy, that when we have more empathy for a grown man who

Starting point is 00:19:00 identifies as a female and starts dressing like a little girl than we have for the minors and for the women, the girls and women in particular that are victims of men trying to come into their bathrooms, come into their locker rooms, play on their sports teams, identify as their gender. Well, we've really lost the plot, but we end up harming much more than helping. So, I mean, I just, yes, we should pray for Chris Tyson. Absolutely.

Starting point is 00:19:37 We should pray that the scales would fall from his eyes, that he would repent, that he would come to know Christ, that he would realize the error of his ways. Absolutely. But also pray for his ex-wife and his poor child. he once posted a Snapchat of his then three-year-old son laying on his stomach, I guess, watching TV or something in a pair of high heels. And of course, he was praising this.

Starting point is 00:20:05 So we have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. I can imagine the absolute heartbreak that his ex-wife is feeling and how much she wants to protect her son from this madness. The last I checked, I remember when we were researching last year, in her bio, she had a Bible verse. And so if you remember it, pray for her, pray for them, pray for this family. Satan loves to attack these Genesis 1 issues. He loves to attack our identity as male or female. He hates our bodies.

Starting point is 00:20:35 The world would like us to think that Satan loves our bodies because he's always pushing pleasure and doing what makes us happy and doing what feels good. But very often those fleeting pleasures and moments of happiness, they harm us, they hurt us. Satan hates our bodies. He hates our identity as male and female because he hates that we are made in God's image. He hates marriage. He hates children.

Starting point is 00:21:05 He hates the family. He wants to tear this institution apart. He wants to steal children's innocence. He wants to confuse men and women about their sexuality, about their gender. He wants to cause chaos and disorseless. order in every way he can. The best way to do that is for him to attack Genesis 1 institutions and realities. And so they are unfortunately the victims of that. So pray for them and pray for everyone who might be in this position. And I just pray that no children have been exploited. But gosh,

Starting point is 00:21:42 this is just another reason. I mean, I have many reasons. Another reason why we should absolutely ban pornography. It should be banned. It should be banned. It should be banned. It is. It is. the legal loophole for the exploitation of children. Okay, so that's the update on that. Hopefully there are no more updates. Hopefully the next update I have on this person is that he has repented and that he has become a Christian and that he has been saved by grace through faith. All right, I'm about to get into this conversation with Glenn Beck.

Before we get into your book, which is just fascinating, so good. Can you just tell us your general take on everything that's happened over the past couple of weeks? This is, I mean, this is the craziest time in my political life. Would you say it's the craziest time in yours? Oh, by far. Really? By far. Oh, name a time. Name a time. If I was to, sum it up in just a few words, I would say it would have to be Jesus is coming. It's just, it is, it's so dark, it's so twisted.

Starting point is 00:24:36 We've lost sight of everything that is real. And we are, if you think that the last few weeks have been eye-opening, You can't imagine what the world will be like in December of this year. Right. Well, I want to hear some of your predictions. I mean, what do you think is going to happen at the DNC with this election? Do we have an October surprise? I mean, what's your thinking?

Starting point is 00:25:10 So I don't know. I mean, if I could talk as a fiction writer, not as a prediction. because everything is so up in the air, really, Ellie, anything could happen. Right. So let's just look at the things that are possible. The 1968 convention in Chicago was a nightmare. I mean, it changed America. It changed our course.

Starting point is 00:25:38 Luckily, it was right at the end of the 60s hippies and everything else. It was that and Altamont that. changed the course and we got off the hippie thing and we started finding the Jesus revival era. And this year promises to be, I think, as explosive as the 68, if not more so. Anything could happen, especially with our Secret Service being as poorly run as they are right now. I would imagine that we are going to see some very unusual things in the streets of Chicago.

Starting point is 00:26:20 I hope this was the last attempt on assassination, but I don't think so. Our president is so ill that I think he could pass away from natural causes at any time. He started taking his responsibilities and delegating literally. In writing, I didn't even know you could do this, but he is delegating the presidential powers on certain issues like Ukraine to the State Department and to the Secretary of Treasury. I've never seen a president do that. Why would you do that? We're just in uncharted territory.

Starting point is 00:27:04 Then who is going to be the nominee? I can't imagine it's going to be Kamala Harris. Really? But, well, Barack Obama hasn't weighed in on it yet. I was going to ask you about that. Yeah. And that says a lot to me. He doesn't want Kamala Harris.

Starting point is 00:27:27 And I think you're going to have possible chaos on the convention floor. You know, it was Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi that were really responsible for the duckout of Joe Biden. and so Barack Obama will get his way one way or another. And I would imagine we're going to have chaos on the convention floor. You already are seeing the death of democracy with the Democrats. I mean, I've never seen anything like it. And the Democrats seem to be okay with it, which is so bizarre. They would not allow the president to be challenged by anyone in the run-up.

Starting point is 00:28:10 So you had all the primaries. Even though the people were saying, we want another choice, they wouldn't allow it to happen. They said he was fine. They were caught in a lie. Now, the same people, Kamala and all the rest of them, that were saying he was fine, are now saying he's got to step down, not from the presidency, just from the run. It's too late. The GOP is going to file suit in several states because the laws forbid. what they're trying to do.

Starting point is 00:28:42 So again, the Democrats are going to have to try to change the rules of state laws for voting. You're going to hand this over to who, the 5,000 people that were there in Chicago, and if they don't get it right, the superdelegates will then vote, and they'll nominate the president and expect everybody to be fine. This is a communist party system. this isn't America. Right. So why is no one upset about that?

Starting point is 00:29:14 Do you agree with the language calling this a palace coup? Yes, I do. Right. I do. I think they knew in advance there, I mean, he should have been, the 25th Amendment should have been enacted a long time ago. And you can't tell me, I mean, I've been reading now from people who are saying, you know, in 2021, I was in a meeting with him.

Starting point is 00:29:38 and it was shocking how bad he was, and he never came back to the caucus again. In 2021, and now you're just saying something? Honestly, Ali, who is running the country? This is, they have been running the country through the office of the president, through all of the cabinet. They all have their own little fiefdom. They're running it.

Starting point is 00:30:06 I don't know who's giving marching orders. and direction, but it's not the president. They didn't want to invoke the 25th because why should we? It's working fine, according to them. They're getting everything done that they need to do while everybody's focused on Joe Biden. They're just getting it done. All of these people should be called in front of Congress and have to answer for their actions. All right, quick pause from that conversation.

She said the Democratic donors and elites, they want Joe Biden out and they also want to push Kamala Harris out that they don't want her. I have no idea what elites she's talking about and what donors she's talking about. But it sounds like you might think that she's on to something.

Starting point is 00:32:27 Oh, I think she's absolutely right. I can't believe I'm agreeing with AOC, but she's absolutely right on this. You know, Bernie Sanders knows this. Elizabeth Warren knows this. This is what they started in 2016. And they've just perfected it. And you can't just get rid of Kamala Harris. I am very concerned that the events that we have seen in the last few weeks could accelerate.

Starting point is 00:32:57 We could lose the president through natural causes, be left with Kamala Harris. And if the elites don't want Kamala Harris, well, she's getable. She's getable with the Secret Service. I don't want to believe that the Secret Service was in any way, shape, or form involved or just turned a blind eye. I want to claim that it was only incompetence that happened a couple of weeks ago. And that might be the truth. But we also now at this point have to consider it might have been a blind eye or worse. And we have to have these answers before we get to the convention.

Starting point is 00:33:45 in Chicago. Too much is at stake. Can you imagine if somebody shot Kamala Harris at this point? Right. Can you imagine? I mean, and, and, and, Ali, look at what the leaders of the world who are against us are seeing, you know, when President Reagan was shot, it was the most dangerous time in my, my childhood of remembering, because we were up head to head against the Soviet Union. We had not, you know, met Gorbachev yet. And he's shot. And for a while there, who is in charge? And somebody came from the White House. I think it was Haig. And he said, I've got control. He was from the Pentagon. I have control of the White House now. Well, he didn't. That wasn't constitutional. And the conversation everywhere at the time was

Starting point is 00:34:42 what is our enemy thinking? We are in disarray and that was only for a few days look at the disarray we're in. You think that people in Iran, in North Korea, in China, in Russia, anywhere that they don't like America,

Starting point is 00:35:02 they're not looking at us right now and saying it is prime for the taking right now. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And yet in his statement, President Biden said that we have never, ever in our history, even better position to lead on the world stage than we have right now. I mean, I understand he has to say that. He has to say we have the greatest economy in the world and gaslight the public. But to make that kind of statement that we have an unprecedented leadership position

Starting point is 00:35:33 on the world stage right now, that's, I mean, that's bold. When will the average person wait to this? I mean, we've been seeing this stuff, Allie. I mean, we've been together for a long time. And we've been talking about this stuff for a long time saying, but you could still excuse it one way or another. You could still say, if you're on the other side, well, that's not happening.

Starting point is 00:35:58 That's, you know, that's this, this and this. And you're just taking this out of contact. There's no way, there's no other way for a thinking human being to look at what's happening and not say we are in dire, dire trouble. And we have to clean this mess up quickly or the world will take us out. Yes. You mentioned that we live in this dystopia now and we can't even imagine what it's going to be like at the end of this year. And if the events of the past, I don't know, two weeks and then five years have talked to. us anything, it's that we really can't predict the unpredictable. And that's just the age that we're

Starting point is 00:36:43 living in now. You've written a fiction novel. Go ahead. Hang on. Let me just say this. Connalisa Rice said to me, and this was in 2007, six or seven, and she used specific language, and it was biblical language. But she said, these, Glenn, are the birth pangs of the things to come. Okay? Birth pangs, it's really interesting to think of a birth pang. Birth pangs first start and then they get faster and harder and more severe and closer and closer and and speed up until you give birth to something. Yes. Look at how the birth pangs in the last three and a half years have sped up.

Starting point is 00:37:32 Yeah. It's relentless now. It's always happening. Every day you wake up and you're like, Wait, what happened yesterday? That's going to speed up in the next few months, and we are giving birth to something. And I don't think it's a happy surprise. Yeah, yes.

Starting point is 00:37:51 I remember that well, and it is an apt metaphor. Is that part of why you wrote this new book, Chasing Embers? It's a dystopian novel, and it does seem perfect for this age that we're describing. So I've had this story in my head. I write stories in my head all the time. And some of them make it actually to book for them. But I wrote this in my head probably 2005 or six. And I was reading Carl Marx and trying to understand Carl Marx. Have you ever read any Carl Marx? It's a little bit. I can't say a lot. A little bit. It's insane. Okay. How anyone could read that and go,

Starting point is 00:38:40 hmm, that's logical. It's insane. It goes against human nature, all of it. And I remember reading it and thinking, why do people read this? Why do 20-somethings read this and think this is so genius? And yet they will never pick up anything from Thomas Jefferson. Never.

Starting point is 00:39:01 And that's brilliant stuff. and I decided it's because it's, for so long, it had been banned or it was underground, okay? Never banned here, but never popular to be, if you were a Marxist, it was never popular. Right. So when you're in your rebellion years, of course you read the things that make you a rebel, all right? And I thought, when are people going to start reading our rebellious period, are the true revolutionaries like Thomas Jefferson. And I thought, you know, I think it's going to have to be lost or forbidden before it becomes popular again. So I started thinking about that and thinking about

Starting point is 00:39:47 where the world was going with giant corporations and public-private partnerships and AI and everything else. And we all know how that could end. It most likely will end horribly like it does every other time the world tries it, except this time it has AI on its side. And that could be a game changer. And then I thought of Ronald Reagan saying any generation that has tasted freedom and loses it will never taste it again in their generation. Okay. And it will be our children and our grandchildren. So I started playing this out over, you know, an 80-year period. And And thought, okay, so our children and our grandchildren, when the truth is taken from them, how will they find it? What will the world be like?

Starting point is 00:40:46 And how will they even know what's true anymore if everything's been erased? And that was the seed of this book. All right. Last sponsor for the day is My Patriot Supply. Starting point is 00:41:51 So most people have no idea who William Tyndale is and his story and why someone would be chasing his embers. Can you explain that a little bit? Yeah. So William Tyndale, the secret to this book is I trying to get into culture. So this is a young adult book. You could read it with your kids or you could read it yourself and I think you would enjoy it. But it is a sneaky way without getting preachy. It's a sneaky way to introduce kids to history.

Starting point is 00:42:30 So the book is full of rabbit holes. and there's secrets in the book. There's little Easter eggs all through it, et cetera, et cetera. There's so many levels to this book. But the kids are looking for the two teenagers in particular that we follow are looking for the truth. One, it is rejecting the truth because it was how he was raised. He was in defense of all of the lies. and but he's torn. He's a rebel, and so he doesn't know. And his character almost is driven insane

Starting point is 00:43:10 when he finds out about William Tyndale. He doesn't believe it's true. He doesn't want to believe it's true. And what drives him crazy is that Tyndale died, as he says, for what? Paper? A story? But he doesn't understand because God has been wiped out of this. He doesn't understand. He doesn't understand. the power that those words that he was trying to get printed in his own native tongue English, the Bible, he doesn't understand the power of that book, the power of that truth. And so part of the story is, how much is the truth worth? Why even look for it? It's only going to make you miserable.

Starting point is 00:43:59 Yeah, it can make you miserable at first. until you align your life with it. And then even then, it might make your life miserable in a different sort of way because they might kill you for it. But the truth changes you dramatically. And he can't understand that through the book. He doesn't want to believe that a man would die for what's written in a book. Mm-hmm. On October 6th, 1536 is when William Tyndale was tied to the stake outside of castle near Brussels.

Starting point is 00:44:38 And his final words were, apparently, Lord, opened the king of England's eyes. That was his final plea, not for his own safety, not for his own life, not for his own physical rescue, but the spiritual rescue of the king of England. And I think it's hard for even us to understand. that. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, what he went through, imagine, you know, and this is the rabbit hole. We hope kids look him up and then start going, wait a minute, what? Yeah. Every page of the Bible that was a Tyndale Bible was smuggled in in a bag of flour or rice or something that came from the continent. He would go to printers all over Europe and he'd say, I just need you to print this one page. page, backside and forward side. I just need you to pay this one. And they would say, you know what, you're trouble, you're in trouble of the king, I want no trouble here. I will print this,

Starting point is 00:45:42 but I never see you again. And so they would printed every page of the Bible. And then they would smuggle these pages in, as contraband. If you were caught with one page, it meant death. Okay. And he did this for years. And I have a copy of Tindale Bible upstairs. And it is, it's from 15, I don't remember, 88. It was in the London Museum, like 200 years before we were even a country. Wow. And it's amazing because it was the first time that someone could, he didn't believe you should have to go to somebody to find out about God. You should be able to have that. personal relationship and read for yourself what God wanted to say. But the king didn't want that because he would lose power. Eventually, King James did change his mind. I mean, he wasn't the one that killed Tyndale, but he did change his mind. The king actually made the King James version. But again,

Starting point is 00:46:49 the reason that he did that is because he didn't want the Geneva Bible, which was the first Bible with commentary in it where a king or a pharaoh could be called a tyrant. He didn't want any of that. So he puts his version out, the King James version, which is the basic stock from everything that we use now. Right. And this, of course, is coinciding with the Protestant Reformation and other translations of Scripture and the Bible and the gospel just spread like wildfire because of that belief. Like you said, that people should have the word of God in their hands, that they don't have to go through any kind of leader, whether it's secular or religious, to hear what God says, that we should be able to have it ourselves. And that is the nature of truth, too. That's just

Starting point is 00:47:40 the nature of truth. I mean, that's the story of America, too, that when you have freedom in your hands, when you have your own will that can dictate your life, hopefully, ideally, under the submission of God's truth. Yes, it's scary. Yes, there's risk to it, but it's worth it and it's worth dying for. So it is, it's amazing. This is why during COVID they had to shut down the churches. This is why every dictator shuts down the churches, bans religion, because you can't have people who are willing to die for the truth. And, you know, when it comes to, if they asked me, bullet in my head right now and denounce the United States of America, otherwise we shoot you. I'd consider it, and probably today I could denounce everything that we're doing.

Starting point is 00:48:35 Now, denounce God? Never. Never, ever, ever, never. Because I know that is true and God never changes. Man's understanding, man's description, everything else, that might change. but God and his truth never changes and that makes people into warriors. I mean, Constantine, he knew that. You know, that's why he was baptized on his deathbed because King has to do some really bad

Starting point is 00:49:06 things. You know, God understands that. Well, I'm not really sure Constantine that he does, but he was trying to cobble together an army. And that's why America was so strong. we learned the truths from the pulpit, we understood that our Constitution and much of our declaration comes directly from scriptures. The reason why our pilgrims were against the slave trade was because the Bible is against man-stealing.

Starting point is 00:49:40 That's what they called it. That's a biblical reference, man-stealing. And they were servants of God. almost everything we have came from God and the Bible. I mean, everything we have comes from God, but, you know, as a nation, anything good that we have came from God. And we have rejected him. And we have not just put him aside. We've put him now back in the town square to mock and ridicule him.

Starting point is 00:50:11 It doesn't end well. It doesn't end well when you do that to truth. You know, what you said about you can't have people or you can't see people, the enemy doesn't want to see people dying for the sake of truth, dying for the sake of the gospel, because what strengthens our faith and our resolve more than seeing the death of a martyr? Or seeing sacrifice and suffering in the midst of persecution, someone like Jack Phillips, many, many others who in the face of persecution and pushback, even to. the point of death in some cases. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah. Even a different, in a different way. Yeah. Look at what happened with the persecution and assassination attempt on Donald Trump. It changes people. Yeah. That's why this society is so intent on brutalizing people and, and erasing them. Make sure they're not even in the public square. You have to forget about those people.

Starting point is 00:51:15 They have to convince you that this is too high of a price to pay just to stand up and say, you know, that shouldn't be taught in our schools. That's not right. I won't say that. It's got to be too high of a price. So they go after the leaders. They go after anybody that speaks the truth. They've gone after you. They've gone after me. They've gone after anybody who disagrees with them to silence not just them. Trump is right. I'm just in their way. They're coming for you. They want you to learn this lesson. We just happen to be in the way, Allie. Yes, and they can addict us to our creature comforts and make us so comfortable and so addicted to convenience that the thought of sacrifice is radical and extreme. And that's part of why you wrote this book. That's part of what drives this main character crazy. Who would do this? Who would sacrifice themselves for truth? It comes out July 24th, correct?
