be a good one here today as we talk to the latest player voted out of the game. It was Star and Star is going to be here with us to talk about everything that she saw in Survivor 48. We'll have that in just a moment. Plus Jordan Kalish going gonna be a big day here on Thursday because after I talk to Star, I've got a podcast coming up with Caleb from Survivor 45, looking forward to talking with him about everything. And then last night on Survivor Know It All, I got a little hot, okay? I felt like I had some frustrations that I wanted to air with what's been going on this season and so I did that.

Rob, how are you? Oh man, I'm doing good. Honestly, I'm really, you know, I should be crying right now, but I'm honestly relieved. I'm crying. When you said I'm crying, because you know, in a game like Survivor, once you're chasing this, you're chasing it, you're trying to figure out how can I get this million dollars,

you're crawling, you're sneaking, you're moving, it's so much pressure, it's so much chaos in your mind, you're trying to, what can I do to fix this and this and this, and then once Jeff snuffs your torch, it's like all that is just silent. And everything is away. Star, I feel like that you must have had two very different experiences of that. You were out on the island and maybe weren't feeling the love from the people you were playing with. But now on this side of it, are you feeling the love from the people watching the show? So much love. I'm feeling all the love. Like I have a lot of support.

I thank the Survivor fans for their support because you're scared of how you're going to be perceived. You see, and then you have people writing hard for you. You got people like star updates, making these posts every day, every week, pushing for you. You got people rooting for you. You got people like, why are they being mean to star? And it's like, thank you guys.

Because sometimes you feel like you're alone on the island and you have nobody if you have no one. And watching back and seeing everyone that's shown me so much love means a lot. Can you help us understand what was going on? Cause it seemed like watching the show that here's Star. Hey, doesn't anybody want to work with Star? And even going back to like in the beginning of the game,

it just wasn't happening. Can you explain what happened? Honestly, I think that some people already established their relationship or knew exactly who they wanted to work with and I wasn't one of those people. At least I can say that for original hockey. And you know, as you see the game progress,

once you have your solids, there's no one else that you're going to let in. Once you have that person and you realize this is my group, it doesn't matter who tries to say, hey, I want to be a part of your group too. Can you pick me? And they'll be like, no, get out of here, man. What are you talking about? So I found, I saw that when I, in the beginning, when I had so much hope thinking maybe I could

work with Thomas, maybe I could work with Bianca, maybe I could work with Joey, even Shaheen. They already had their own relationships. They already established those bonds. And at that point, there was nothing I could do. We were all having conversation. A lot of people thought that I wasn't talking to people, but we were, I was talking, I was getting to know these people. It's just, I guess if the bomb was already solidified before I could, had it, had it, before I had had a chance. So, Star, I was frustrated watching the show last night cause I can see, all right, here's these four people on the bottom and now here's a plan to make a move.

And you go to Mitch and you say to Mitch, hey, let's do it. And Mitch says about you, he said that Star is the biggest joke and she just wrote my name down. I'm not gonna work with Star. Yeah. Yeah. He's a, he's the Lulu. But, and that's the, and that's the thing though, in the game like Survivor, you don't, some people don't know exactly where they stand. We know watching that he was already on the bottom on his original SEVA,

him and Charity were already trying to fight for who can get out of the bottom and go to the top. So for him to think that he actually had a place in the game is hilarious because I'm like, bro, you and me were in the same boat. We're all on this sinking ship together. I'm trying to save us so we can go and make something of this game.

You've watched many challenges, we keep on losing. Can we at least come together and come by out for one vote? And he said no. He told you, Star, play your shot in the dark tonight. Yeah. Which was not a good thing to hear. But you didn't play the shot in the dark. Why did you not play the shot in the dark? I didn't play the shot in the dark. Why did you not play the shot in the dark? I didn't play my shot in the dark because I thought the numbers would have been on my side and I thought, I really thought that the number would be four star, five Mary and the next tribal council, I could use my shot in the dark.

I thought they were trying to flush it out so they can set me up for the Okie doke, the next tribal council. I'm like, I'm not giving y'all that benefit of the doubt. No, this game is survivor. We've been here before. No. And. Yeah. How, what was going to be the five Mary? Where were, that was going to be what you? Yeah. Me, cause I already told Mary, Hey girl, I got to vote for you. It's either me or you. She said, Hey star, I got to vote for you. It's either me or you. So I'm like, all right, star, Shaheen, Eva, Joe. And I had already talked prior to with Camilla and Kyle. And I'm like, all right, star Shaheen, Eva, Joe, and I had already talked prior to

with Camilla and Kyle and I was like, hey, are you writing my name down? They said no. I believed them. So I thought at least maybe Kyle or maybe Camilla would have written Mary's name down and then everyone else would have been, you know, Mary, Mitch and may possibly call it, you know, the numbers would have been on my side in my better life. OK, I want to ask about you found the Blair advantage and you weren't able to get the thing unlocked and then even Joe had the emotional moment. And then after that, then Eva helped you with it. And then you gave Eva the idol. Can you talk about what were you hoping to get

out of giving Eva the idol? I was actually hoping to get a type, some type of relationship or friendship, or even like a, like a new leaf. Because you see in the, we don't really get along. You know, she, and for me, it was the swimming thing. She's scene, we don't really get along. For me, it was the swimming thing. She's like, you sitting out.

I'm like, girl, what you mean I'm sitting out? If I drown, I drown, but I ain't like, let's go. I'm trying to at least find my way and maneuver. I'm like, all right, I get it. Let's turn a new leaf. Everyone's talking about honesty. Everyone's talking about loyalty. Let's see what we can do to figure our place into this game.

So I thought maybe, given Eva the idol would have solidified or been an extended olive branch to say, hey, girl, I'm not your enemy. I want to work with you. Maybe, possibly. I'm a girl's girl. So I'm like, girl, come on now. Our beef is not with each other. It's with these men. Come on! But obviously, some people aren't girl girls So I really did think that when you gave Eva the idol that okay

Well now star just secured a place in this alliance Eva's gonna tell Joe everybody's gonna love star for doing this But that's not what happened and that's not what happens the The next day she still says my name and I'm like girl, what was the point? I thought we were cool. And I think that's the issue with me because as much as I'm watching I've never said her name in a way after that first situation. And I'm like hey, would you write her name down? And then after that I didn't even worry about her anymore. I thought we were cool.

So as, as I'm watching, she keeps saying my name and she said my name again last night. I'm like, girl, she said she would be sickened if you won immunity. Crazy. I don't know. I don't know. I really wish I knew why she was gunning for me so hard because then it would make sense. But I'm like watching, I'm like, well girl, we barely have interactions together when we finally do have a moment and I think this is a new leaf. Yeah. Star, the word chaotic came up a couple different times to describe you in any

way were you chaotic out there? Not at all. I was not chaotic. Everything was making sense. So anyone that has an opinion, any woman or any person, anyone that has an opinion who that actually makes sense, people are going to say, no, you're crazy because now you're messing up their game. So I feel like because I knew the game very well, I'm watching these things unfold. I'm seeing these alliances over here. I'm seeing these people get together and walk to the water route every day

Two by two by two. No one's getting going in a group It's just two by two by two and I'm like you're working together. You're working together. You're working together And I go to my people hey, these people working together and they're like, yeah And I'm like, what do you mean? So I think that because I was just coming with the sense I was messing up everyone's game, they're trying to make me seem crazy. So the only thing, the best way to make a person, that person chaotic, man. You saw Eva, the day one when we did the tribe swap, she goes to David and she says, I'm

willing to get out star. She just too much. Once a person gets that first word, that's it. Your word is bond. So if I told you, Rob, hey man, I don't know. We gotta get out Jeff, man. Jeff Proves, yeah, he's doing too much talking. Uncle JP? We gotta get out Uncle JP.

You're gonna be like, you're right, he is doing a lot of talking. I do see him moving a lot, you know, just because of that logic. So I think once people say my name and they're like, yeah man, she's doing something over there, I don't know. They're like, yeah, you're right. I do see her doing something.

You look to my left and I'm just eating a coconut on a bamboo. I thought that at times it seemed like that you and Shaheen had a good relationship. It seemed like that, especially by last night, Shaheen preferred to keep Mary in the game over over you. Was that just because you wrote his name down at the last tribal council? Well, I've been saying Shaheen's name since day one, honestly, I remember.

So I was asked, who would you rather get out, Eva or Shaheen? And I'm like, Shaheen, he has to go. He's a smart player, he's sneaky. Those are the players you have to work for. I would know, I'm a smart player and I'm sneaky. I know, so game, recognize gang, brand and I had to get him out of there. So, um, watching him, I understood it, but he told me that

he's the only one that I could say I respected. Of course, Mary too, cause we said we would write each other's names, but Shaheen came to me. He's like, I'm writing your name down tonight. And I was like, okay. And he's like, you played a good game, a hell of a game. And that's why I have to get you out. And I'm like, I respect that. I get it. And I was like, okay. And he's like, you played a good game, a hell of a game. And that's why I have to get you out. And I'm like, I respect that. I get it. And I'm like, I said your name. He's like, I said your name.

I'm like, that's fine. At least he wrote my name down and he didn't stab me in the back. But seeing Joe write my name down, that hurt. Eva write my name down. She was good for me from day one. But I'm like, dang. Did you feel like you had a close relationship with Joe?

I honestly thought I did have a close relationship with Joe. I thought that, except from day one, when I first came on the island, he said he wanted to work with me. He said he wanted to like make something happen. He's like, go find this idol. I'll tell you, you tell me, we'll figure it out together. So that's when you see me every episode or every scene

or even the deleted scenes and I'm like, who do you see your final three Joe? What's up, Joe? How you doing Joe? That's just me thinking that we actually had a relationship and he's he's a Gemini man All right, they're real smooth. He's real good with making you feel like you're important. Yeah, like you're that you're special and then When you see how he moving you Oh, I know. So yeah. Star last night, the world was blown away when you dropped your new single. My enemies are plotting. What's next? That's what I'm trying to say. I've been trying to tell him. I'm like, I'm waiting for the Survivor album to come out and it's coming, man.

It's coming. I got a little, you want a little song? Yeah. Sitting on the podcast with my guy Rob, chilling, talking about all the things I got. I don't got a million, but that's okay because because I got team spirit, I'ma be okay. That's great. Look, I was gonna ask you if you could, Rap, I was gonna say, make sure you don't tell us

the order of everybody who gets voted out, because I didn't think I have to say that, but it turns out that it's actually, sometimes I do have to say that to people. Yeah, I wish that when it came to the Be Weird bandage I trusted myself more and had confidence to try to figure it out on my own first. You know, a lot of times we doubt ourselves. And I think in that moment when I went looking for help like I normally do in a regular life thing, I should have just sat down, took a deep breath

and said, let's figure it out together. As in myself, me, myself and I. Yeah. I can hear it in your voice that that that really is something that you do you feel like you really doubted yourself in that moment? Yeah, I definitely do. I think I did. And I think also to of course, you know, you you find this thing you're like, okay, this this is my apple. I can use this apple and I can go to that teacher and say, here's this apple teacher. She'll smile.

She'll thank me. And now, straight A's all the way through. So I thought that that beware advantage was my way to move up in the game. It was my way. And I think it helped me in a way. I think I probably would have been out a long time ago if I didn't have that beware advantage, if I didn't bring those people in, if I didn't bring those people in if I didn't try to solidify my place in original logging so

In a way, it's a blessing and curse it helped me out because it kept me a little longer But it kind of ruined me in the end because I could have used that idol to maybe save myself but do you feel like that you learned from that from when uncle JP calls again and You go back to Fiji Uncle JP J.P. calls again and you go back to Fiji. Well, Uncle J.P. I'm still waiting for him to have my number on speed out. I'm sure he does. It's probably like number two. But yes, I know for a fact, next round, next go-around, next million dollar challenge, I'm going in with full confidence. I'm going in It me myself and I first pilt myself first think about myself think about them like before you ask for help Try yeah. All right. Well star we all can't get enough of you. and unintentionally stirring up chaos. How did I do when you played with me? You did really well. Oh. I had a lot of fun when we played together. I got it all wrong. I thought that the poisoning was going between the two of us, but it was just me.

And I had all the wrongs. You know, I've never been on the evil team. I don't know how I would do. I'm always on the good team and people think I'm evil. Same. Yeah, what are you gonna do? All right, so Jordan, let's hear what the categories are this week.

All right, so this week in Survivor History, we have Exile Island, Samoa, Heroes vs. Villains, Caramoan, 45 and 47. So Addie, where are you taking us first? Okay. I will say, I'll take, you know, we'll start new as recent as we can get 47. All right, 40 several. At the Rice negotiation in which Jeff at first wanted four players to sit out of the challenge, who instead proposed that everyone would give up

their shot in the dark for Rice, a deal with which Jeff ultimately accepted? Kyle. Kyle is the correct answer. I said Gabe. Gabe kind of was in the conversation, but it was mostly Kyle. Good job there. I would have gone right for Gabe. Yes. Caroline is the one who first brings up the shot in the darks and says, oh, two of us will give up the shot in the darks. All right, 45 the other new era season. While the final eight vote would really come down to Bruce or Jake, Bruce cast a lone vote for Julie. Who convinced him that Julie was, in fact, where the majority of the votes were going, causing him to vote for Julie and not play his idol. I believe that person was financial analyst Emily Flippen, who also loves Blood on the Clocktower.

That is correct. And I heard Emily Flippen was playing Blood on the Clocktower in person in DC this past weekend. So Rob, you have taken a four to three lead so that's where we are in the final round of this game. Addy, this is an important question for you. Which season are you going to? Which one's our last season? Samoa or Caramoham? Caramoham. All right, Survivor Caramoham. At the Three Amigos Tribal Council, Philip was voted out by a tally of 4 to 0 to 0 after Malcolm played Idols for both himself and Eddie, who was the only non-Three Amigo player to switch their vote to Philip up once learning that Reynolds, Eddie and Malcolm would all be immune or could all

be immune. Was it Reynolds? No, it was not Reynolds. So Rob, you can steal here. So the only non three Amigo to switch the book was Eric. Eric Reichenbach. Eric Reichenbach was in the stealth RS Alliance. He was sort of on the fringes of it,

but he did switch his vote. So Rob, you steal one point there. You have a 5 to 3 lead. Addy, you are, unfortunately, mathematically eliminated. Because even if Rob gets this wrong, you could only steal one point. But this is going to be Rob's question. We're going to Samoa.
