survivor 49 and today we're going to talk with the woman who got voted out it's annie
trashy annie they even call her and we will find out what happened what happened
with her game and find out everything she's thinking about some of the trash talk she heard from
her tribe when she watched the episode. So we have that coming up here now. We have also coming
up. I'm going to speak with Thomas and Bianca from Survivor 48 on our new era recap coming up
here today later on on Thursday. So be on the lookout for that. Then I'm going to talk about
the amazing race later on tonight with Mike and Jessica Lease. And then,
we'll also have an old school interview coming up for you as well as Amy Kuzak will join me
to talk about all things, Survivor that she is seeing and so much more coming up all here on
RHAP.
And then for the patrons, Robbins, the podcast, I'll be doing our Survivor Q&A that's
going to be at 3 p.m. on Friday.
But first, we have our exit interview.
I see that we have Annie on the line.
Let's go ahead and bring in Annie.
Hey, Annie, what's going on?
Rob, Sisternino.
How are you today, Annie?
I'm so good, Rob.
I had such a blast in this whole experience.
So I'm feeling really good today.
I really am.
I'm happy to hear you say that because I had been a little concerned
because I felt like that when maybe you saw the episode,
it seemed like that your tribe wasn't necessarily loving
to use, borrow a word from the Red Tribe,
the vibe that you had for this game.
So what was that like for you to see all that?
It's hard.
You can't not watch people.
talk nasty about you and not have it heard a little bit.
But I also know that's the game.
And that was, you know, day three or four of getting to know a bunch of strangers.
We lost from go.
And so it was knives out from the minute we hit the island.
And so I think everybody is looking at each other with a little bit of a different lens than they would out in the real world.
So, yeah, it's hard to hear them call me at Karen and bossy and roll their eyes and everything I'm trying to do to help.
the tribe, which is ultimately what I was trying to do, but it was sort of misperceived. So it was,
it was hard, but I also know it's just a game. And those, those guys don't feel like that in the
real world, you know, we're, we're going to be fine. And I feel like that that's already
part of your story from learning about you in the preseason where you talked about how when
you started taking up music, that there were a lot of people who had comments about you as a musician.
and I feel like that that's already embodied in your spirit of being trashy Annie.
It's true.
And I will say I have a lot of faults.
But one of the things I view as a strength is I am very authentic to myself.
And it's I go, I went on to that island and I was me.
I didn't put on a different face.
I tried, yeah, I was perceived as bossy.
But you know what?
It came from such a place of love.
I was trying to help the tribe.
It's like, how can I help us find better coconuts so that we can eat?
how can I build a shelter, what can I do to help?
And so even though it was perceived as bossy, I know myself and I know what it was meant
with so much love.
And so it's okay.
I was me.
And me didn't work out there this time.
And that's okay.
Different tribe, different season.
Maybe it would have been fine.
Listen, I think that you're able to embody the boss and also being a rocker.
It works for Springsteen.
Am I right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right.
Okay.
Let's talk about that tribal council.
Because I'd love to know from your perspective, what were you expecting?
to happen at that tribal council where you went home?
Well, I was, I definitely was blindsided.
I didn't think I was going home.
I really thought that I knew what was going on.
I thought my relationship with Alex was super strong.
I love that guy.
I was like, we got something.
We're doing this.
I didn't recognize how the other dynamics that were going on between,
especially between Jake and Sophie and how Alex kind of had to go with that.
Otherwise, I think that it would have ended up splitting
splitting things and we would have been on the wrong side of the vote. So I do think he, his hand was
a little bit forced. But I thought Sophie was going home because it was so clear that on that
challenge, you know, she was a weak link for us. And she's strong in other areas for sure. She's
very socially adept. She's good in a lot of things. But that challenge, and she'll be the first
to tell you that the physical side is not her biggest strength. And so when we had seven or eight
minute lead and then she and Alex lost that puzzle, I thought surely this tribe is going to
understand that we have to cut out the weak link so we can eat because we have to win a
challenge. So I thought Sophie was going to go home that night. And so that was the surprise for me.
So from our perspective, we know Alex is wrestling with playing the idol on you. Now that you
have all of the information, do you feel like, does it hurt at all that he didn't play his
idol for you knowing that everybody already knew he had an idol?
I don't think, one, I would have never asked him to play it because he did say, you know, if you get even a sniff that you might go home, you tell me and I'll play it for you. I would have never asked him to do that. You know, if he chose to do it on his own, that's an awesome, amazing thing, but I wouldn't have asked. And it didn't hurt me that he didn't play it for me because I think in hindsight, he did what he had to do. I really do. He was saving himself that night. And that's what everybody in Survivor has to do. And I think we would have had a great alliance had we done what we
kind of agreed to. But I think we both saw Jake and Sophie and how strong that was. And
Sophie kind of had Jeremiah in her pocket. So that would have left the two of us on the outs no matter
how you play it. So I think he had to go with them. I wouldn't have expected him to play the
idol on me because then it would have just, it might have been him that night. So I think it was
the right, I think it was the right move. So based off of everything that we saw, it seems like
that you and Alex are very close, correct? I think so. I really like that guy. I have
I really don't have hard feelings about anybody on the island, regardless of what you have
last night.
You know, I don't.
Okay.
So could you talk us through from last week's episode?
It seemed to us at home that when you're talking to Sophie about a plan about, hey, we could
vote out Nicole, but listen, I'm going to be next if we end up doing that.
So why don't we split up the guys?
And it sounded like that you were pitching to Sophie to vote out Alex.
Is that right?
So I was really pitching to vote out Jake, but I had to throw Alex's name in the hat because otherwise it would have blown the cover that we were working together because my strategy to go going into it was to find that one person I feel like I could align with and then never talk to them again until it's time to vote together because we didn't want anybody to sniff that out. So we had decided that was going to be our plan. Like, hey, let's meet like once a day and just confirm that everything's good and talk about who we're going to vote for, but then split up. And so when
I was talking to Sophie, had I only said Jake, it certainly could have sniffed out that Alex
and I maybe were doing something together. So I had to put his name. I would have never written his
name ever. And I told him I was going to do that. I said, I'm going to say your name. That is not even
on the table. So do you feel like that he worked to keep the vote off of you at the first tribal
council and keep it on Nicole? I don't think so because we had a, he may have, but the five of us had
decided on Nicole and we actually created me as a decoy. So some of those edits where they show
me wandering off by myself and looking like a survivor 101 thing that you never do, which is
just wander off. I really wasn't doing that and being an idiot. One, I was either trying to build
a shelter, which I spent all day the first day doing, or I was doing what we had decided on as a five
piece, which was, let's make Nicole feel comfortable. Everybody kind of hang with her throughout the day
and make her feel like she's in on the right side of the vote.
Let's isolate Annie because she's the decoy.
We've all decided it.
And that way, Nicole will think, oh, yeah, Annie is definitely on the block
and not play her shot in the dark.
So there was kind of a group effort in making me isolated.
I don't think I was ever really on the chopping block for week one.
I don't think.
It really came up a lot about the conditions and how bad it was.
And I know that you've done all of these races and things in the past.
So can you just tell us?
For you, how bad were these conditions that we saw?
I loved them.
I loved it out there.
I loved the heat.
I loved it all.
I was totally fine with that stuff.
I don't like being cold.
Had it been a cold season, I would have struggled a heck of a lot more.
My, the heat, I have a high heat tolerance.
I mean, I'll go run when it's 115 degrees in Phoenix.
You know, it's like the best day of my life.
So the heat for me wasn't so bad.
The dehydration that comes with it is tough.
And then the fact that we hadn't eaten for.
you know, three, four, five, six days, whatever it was by the time we got to that final
challenge where I got the boot. So that part was tough. I think the nutrition piece was harder
to suffer through than the heat. Annie, how do you respond to the charge that you drank all
the tribe's coconuts? Such BS. I was laughing so hard at that whole edit because that was not
at all what happened. And also the coconut thing was funny because my tribe mates were talking all
about how bossy I was, about telling them what kind of coconuts to get and stuff, I realized
I hadn't talked to them in fact that, yeah, I'm a musician, and that's what I went on to the
island, you know, presenting, but I'm also a doctor. I also have a biomechanics analysis company.
You know, I understand the human body very well. So all I was trying to do is say, hey,
guys, let's find the ones with the juice in them because that has potassium and that'll help us,
you know, with our hydration. And they just viewed it as like, oh, Annie's telling us what to do
again, you know? And it's so funny because then they cut to that scene of me drinking a coconut.
I we all shared the coconut so equally like kind of to a ridiculous level we all like poured our own
little thing like okay do we all have the even amounts I even gave mine away a couple of times I was like
Jake you're bigger you need it so that was an edit okay all right speaking of Jake we saw that
Jake targeted you this episode as the shoe bandit now that you've seen all of that what's your
reaction to the shoe bandit capers going on in your tribe? I mean, I was, I'm actually
perfectly at peace with that because I know now that it was a person and not an animal because
I was sleeping in the shelter by myself at night while they were down on the beach because I was
cold down there, so I would go up top. And something was nibbling on my foot at night.
And so I was convinced that there was some kind of an animal that's carrying our shoes all
around camp, which gets real creepy. So now that I find out it was just Jake,
throwing people's shoes around. I'm like, oh, okay, good. That's better than the alternative.
Yeah. So how long did you spend looking for your shoe?
My shoes were pretty easy to find. Other people's shoes were further away. And so mine,
I found it for pretty quickly the next morning. But was there discussion in the tribe about,
like, hey, what is happening with our shoes? Is somebody doing this? Oh, 100%. But everybody kind of
was convinced that it wasn't a person because who would do that? We thought, well, maybe, I don't
We just all, I think, convinced ourselves it was some kind of small animal and tried not to think about how big an animal would have to be to carry a shoe around camp.
But did you think it was funny?
Because the tribe is losing.
You have no energy.
It's bad conditions.
Everybody's going around looking for shoes.
I actually really didn't care.
I was like, okay, my shoes over there.
I spent three minutes finding my shoe.
Let's get back to business.
But that was also probably like, and he's so bossy, you know, she doesn't even care that our shoes are disappearing.
She's probably her doing it.
Yeah. Now, were you aware of the group idol hunt that was going on in the episode prior to Alex telling you that he had the idol?
No. I didn't know that that was happening. I can't remember where my headspace was at that point. I think that I was of the mindset that we had decided were the votes on Sophie. Jake and Alex and I had talked around the water well. And that was the conversation. And so I thought we were good.
some of my strategy through this thing wasn't to isolate myself from a hey I just want to be off over here looking for an idol or whatever they want to say but sometimes you know using me as sort of the decoy like we did on the nick vote was helpful and so I think that was part of what Alex and I had kind of talked about a little bit so no I didn't know they were off idle hunting but I also I also highly misjudged how close that that foursome was so that's on me what do you wish we would have seen about your game
from these two episodes of Survivor?
You know, I wish that they didn't show a lot of the physical stuff
that I feel like I contributed, or I know I contributed.
Like I said, I spent the whole first day making a shelter
because I've seen so many seasons of this
where it's just dumping on people in the middle of the night
and they're miserable and they can't compete the next day
and they can't make fire and all this.
I was like, I can contribute by making us a shelter.
I don't really know what I'm doing,
but I will just keep working until I get it figured out.
And so it was cut in a way that really didn't do justice to all of that, in my opinion.
So it looked like I was weak and I was just wandering off by myself all the time.
And so I think that was a very small part of that story.
And so I wish some of that physical stuff would have been a little bit more,
I've portrayed a little bit more, but they have a lot of stuff to show.
I understand.
Looking back at how it all ended up going down,
do you feel like that is there something that you wish that you would have changed about your game
if you were going to play this over again.
Oh, 100%.
I would have foregone the idea
that physical contributions in camp matter
almost entirely
and probably would have stuck like glue
to my tribe mates the entire time
because I am just, I'm a CEO,
I front a band, all these sports and things I do,
Iron Man's and all that.
They're all solo endeavors.
So I'm used to just kind of working as a lone wolf
and that does not work well on Survivor.
I knew it was going to be a challenge.
I didn't know it was going to be as big of a challenge as it was.
So, yeah, if I were to play again, I would change that strategy for sure.
But I'm really trying to think about the dynamics of the group that you were in.
And if you couldn't change any of that, I'm trying to think of what, is there a configuration you could have put together that would have helped you get through this first portion of the game?
I don't know.
I honestly don't know because Jake and Sophie were so close.
The configuration, now that being said, Nick and I didn't, we didn't connect enough.
early on because I thought I had my alliances all set.
You know, Nick's a whole other person that I didn't even explore the idea of having an
alliance with and maybe that could have changed something.
But had I not misjudged how strong Sophie and Jake were, the Jake Alex Me situation could have
been pretty good because from a strength perspective, you know, I'm pretty strong chick and
they're strong guys and we probably could have gone far together.
Okay.
I like that.
Annie, should we expect any survivor-inspired music coming out of this?
Definitely.
Okay.
I think I got a whole EP in there.
Wow.
It just, you come back from something like this with a lot of head garbage.
You start to question everything.
Do people actually like me?
Does everybody hate me?
And they just pretend like they do.
You know, like there's so much goes through your head.
And for me, I'm so fortunate to have music to be able to as an outlet.
So yeah, I expect there's going to be some good stuff coming in the next year based on what I learned about myself in this experience.
Okay.
All right.
Annie, thank you so much for making this time and all the best outside of Survivor.
Thank you so much.
All right, everybody, there you have it.
There's Annie, a good sport, all things considered.
And I do mean that I don't know what Annie could have done differently with this group.
It just seemed that you had the two-person alliance where Sophie wanted to work with Jake as a meat shield.
Jake also wants to work with Alex, Jeremiah, and Sophie are very close.
So it just seems like that that four was such a natural fit.
Even if Annie partners up with Nicole early on,
like I don't know,
maybe that she could have potentially squeezed out Jeremiah as the fourth.
But it just seems like that that was a stretch.
Jeremiah is super social.
So I think that Annie just got put on in a group where she just was not going to fit in,
no matter how many different times you simulate this season.
It doesn't feel that good for Annie unless her tribe just goes on to win
a number of challenges.
So it seems like she got through the first vote,
but it seemed like this was always going to be a tough spot
for her to get through the second vote in this group of six.
Anyway, we still have a lot more to do today.
Jordan Kalish is coming up with this week in Survivor History.
We come back right after this.
And we're back this week in Survivor History.
That's right, the show where we go back into the archives of Survivor,
the annals of history and bring you six new questions every week where I take on a patron
in a battle of wits here with the man behind the twish. It's Jordan Kalish. I am doing okay, Rob.
I could I could definitely be doing a little bit better based on what happened to the Yankees
last night. If you're listening to the non-patron version, you know the fate of the Yankees.
you know if I'm celebrating or if I'm depressed right now.
But I got to keep hope alive as a mediocre survivor player on stuff.
That's what the listeners always say.
We want to hear about, you know, how, what will happen in the future to Jordan's sports teams that we will already know the answer to.
How is Jordan feeling right in this very moment about his sports teams?
Probably not great.
Probably not great.
Here with us to play this week in Survivor History, it's patron Chris Lambert.
Chris, how are you?
I am good, Rob.
I am keeping the Hope mantra alive as a Pirates fan.
Hope Springs Eternal, and every year we hope that we can do better next year,
so at least you have a playoff run to potentially enjoy George.
Okay.
Are you any relation to Noel Lambert?
I'm not.
Okay.
Or Jack Lambert, the famous Steeler.
Yes, okay.
Or Adam Lambert?
None of them.
I don't have a...
Lambert and my family that's famous.
Okay. Who's the most famous
Pittsburgh survivors?
It has to be Jenna and Amber, right?
Now, Amber,
famously from Beaver, Pennsylvania.
Yeah, that's only 40 minutes north.
We visited Beaver.
It's part of the Pittsburgh metro area.
Amber used to say that there was a lot of
a lot of tourism in Beaver,
Pennsylvania. People would buy a lot of merch there.
interesting
the liquor store i think sold a lot of merch
that tracks yeah
yes
outside of that there's not much in beaver
yes and then
russell swan also right
uh is he from
he's a steeler's fan
all right we'll count and we'll take it then
okay all right now jordan here we are week
two of twitch i am oh in one on the season
hopefully i don't go oh and four like
the Jets. Yeah, that would be tough to do. I mean, we do, we do get some, some great patron
trivia masters in here, but I don't think you've ever had to start. I get fired from Twitch.
I go Owen 4. You could only hope that. You would get fired from Twitch. Maybe I'll tank.
That's your dream. Have you, yeah, that would be an interesting strategy if you started tanking,
taking on Twitch. I can't. I can't. My credibility is on the line. Okay. Jordan,
your honor bounds. What are the categories this week? All right. This week, we are going to Survivor
Marquesis, Pearl Islands, token jeans, Heroes versus Villains, 44 and 47. Chris, as the guest,
you get to choose the first category. No mystery box this week for you, Chris. All right. I'm going to go
with Heroes versus Villains. That's one of my all-time favorite seasons. So hopefully I can draw some
answers to whatever question you throw at me. Yes, one of the most popular seasons in Survivor
history. Who witnessed Boston Rob collapse in the jungle due to his brush with crybaby
itis and tried to help him regain consciousness before alerting the medical team?
Ooh. Who was it? Was it Tyson? Tyson is incorrect. So you start with no points. Rob can steal a point
here if he is correct. I was about to yell at Jordan for making such an easy question.
So thank you for saving Jordan, Chris. You saved Jordan from me, my head exploding, just like
Jerry saved Boston Rob. Jerry did save Boston Rob. Rob, you got to put you that you thought. I have
no gauge on what questions are easy and what questions are hard. I, I mean, I wasn't sure.
This is a question like there's times where I've probably repeated questions before. I don't think I've
ever asked about this before. I mean, I do remember that scene. I kind of remember her patting his face
and trying to get him to come to. And he's, oh, I need help, good medical. Yeah. But, but clearly, I mean,
Chris, Chris, I think knows the stuff. I'm used to Jordan asking, like, who got the second most
votes at this tribal council where there was an idol play? Like, come on. Two people wrote a vote
left-handed. Yeah. To be fair, this is like, who witnessed the thing happen in the woods, what,
15 years ago or more.
So it's not that easy.
They're on television.
It wasn't like in the woods.
I know that.
I know it was televised.
That's how we know about any of this stuff.
There's probably so many questions that if we had live feeds that I could ask about.
That's about something that happened like in reality on the show that isn't like, you know,
counting something from like tribal council.
Yeah.
I do tend to go in that direction sometimes.
I love the votes.
And I feel like that's the part if I were doing this weekend Survivor,
history. That would be the, those would be the questions that I would do better on.
Okay. But Rob, you have a strong start here. You have one point and you have control of the board.
All right. Let me go to 47. All right, 47 going with the most recent question on this quiz.
Who initially found the beware advantage on the yellow gata tribe, but decided not to take it?
I believe it was friend of the pod, former Twish contestant.
That would be Andy.
Baby Andy is correct.
So Rob, you get two points and you have a total of three now.
Baby Andy, I think the only person in the world who has played Twitch before becoming a survivor contestant.
And then being the answer to a question now on Twitch.
So the circle is complete.
We did it. We did it. Baby Andy. Love, love baby Andy. Hopefully, you know, we have
survived. We have a New York, the New York event coming up. I'm hoping we see him and all the 47ers
are the fun group. Yeah. So I'm hoping to see that. So let's go to Chris. You have to get back
into this game, much like the Pittsburgh Pirates. You were trying to catch up here. Yeah. Let's go with,
let's go with Pearl Islands. All right. Pearl Islands, another very popular season. After Drake
won the reward challenge, who annoyed the Morgan tribe by stealing their tarp during the camp raid
and damaging their shelter in the process?
Oh, I have not watched this season in a long time, so I'm going to take the multiple
choice and hope that I can just get a point here.
All right, for one point was it A, fair play, B, Michelle Tesoro, C, Rupert, or D, Sandra?
I was going to say Rupert, but that seems too obvious.
I'll stick with it. I'll say Rupert.
Rupert is incorrect.
So, Rob, you can steal another point here and you would have a massive control of this over the state.
Chris, this is bad luck for you because I happened to have watched this scene in the last week as I'm prepared for my old school interview with Andrew Savage.
And it was Sandra Diaz-Twine who came to the camp to the Morgan camp.
and was upset that they didn't have better stuff.
So she took the tarp and kind of made a mess and really wasn't very sorry.
And Andrew Savage was not happy.
Yeah, he didn't call her a Pissan or a wimpy little non-leader, but you do steal the point there, Rob.
You have a commanding for zero lead.
I half blame Morgan, though, because like they, you know, she said, can you help me take the tarp off?
She had to, she had to take something and they wouldn't help her.
So she had to do it herself.
She had to like yank it off and unfortunately created a mess sort of ruined their shelter.
Rob, great chat with Andrew Savage this week on the podcast.
Yes, love Andrew Savage.
He's a survivor legend.
And Rob, you have a legendary four zero lead.
What questioner, what season are you going to go to?
I'm going to go with 44.
All right, 44, the last new era season on the board.
Okay.
Who found the key and retrieved the bird,
cage idol for the green
Soca tribe leaving the fake idol
for someone else to eventually find.
Who
found the key
and
left the fake
idol?
I'm not going to do the multiple choice because there's only
so many people there
and it's down to
there.
There's a
couple of people that it could have been. I believe it was, I guess it was Danny
did that. Danny Masa. The king of De Niro face. De Niro face. Rob, are you talking to me?
Are you answering my questions? Yeah, that is correct. You are correct, Rob. You get two points
and you have a six-lead zero lead. Danny Masa does take the real idol. This is why Matt Blankenship,
when he found the fake one, thought that he had a real idol.
during that game and of course it was not real uh rob has a six zero lead uh we had some de nero
phase going on in uh patron mafia if you uh if anyone caught that uh last week had a had a great time on
patron mafia and we're going to be doing it again soon if you're a patron you would like to play
mafia if you're not a patron become a patron so you can play mafia with the uh the other fans of rob has a
podcast uh chris i think you're mathematically eliminated but uh you still get to play it out we got got to play
So let's see, let's see if you could get on the board here to 6-0.
Are we going to token chains or Marquesis?
Let's do token chains.
All right, Survivor token genes.
Since Sierra had been the player in the premiere who was voted by Timbira as the player who
wouldn't make the journey to camp, she was given a clue to an immunity idol that could be played
at their tribe's first tribal council.
While she didn't search for it in the premiere, opting to instead get the camp ready for
the tribe's arrival, she and Brendan did look for it in episode two.
Who caught them searching, but bought the story that they were preparing a fire pit for that night?
Ooh.
I'm going to take the multiple choice again.
I just got to get A point, hopefully.
Got to get on the board.
Was it A, Candice Smith, B, Coach, C, Debbie B, or D. Tyson?
I'm going to say that it's Debbie, but I am not confident.
You're not confident.
He was not confident about her math skills at the auction.
But that is correct, Chris, you get on the board.
You would get a point six to one.
You can never say that you were a zero point finalist on the Twitch quiz.
No disrespect.
I was hoping you would get that wrong and I could get it right.
And then I could get a perfect game in Twitch where I steal all three of your points
and get all of my questions.
We've never had that before.
I don't think we've ever had that for me.
But I didn't even know the answer to that question.
So that's just, I never even thought of.
It never even occurred to me that I could one day get a perfect game.
And if I get a perfect game in Twitch, Jordan, I get the verbal rebus gets to be retired.
I think that's retired or we don't do it that week?
Never again.
I think it would be if I win, we don't do the verbal rebus.
If you win, we don't do the, but then the audience loses.
Everyone loves the, you think when, okay, we do these live events and there will be.
When people come up to me, you think there are...
1.5 complaints if we see...
No, I'm 100% you're wrong
because every time we have the live events,
nobody talks about the trivia.
Chris, do you care about the verbal revis?
There are some weeks that I will try
and intently focus on it in other weeks
that it just goes right over my head.
But you know what, Jordan, at the live show,
you can try and convince Chappelle
to do your verbal revis during one of the...
I would love that.
See how that goes over with the crowd.
I like it.
I think what I think I don't know if it really works for a a live stage event.
I don't know of me giving Chappelle clues, but I think, you know what?
I think people went off stage event.
I think it works for a podcast.
And I think that the best part of the verbal rebis is how much you hate the purple
rebus.
That's the other feedback.
Give me my Marquesas question.
Marquesis, this is, to put the icing on the cake here, the Marquesa, Boston Robb famously
struggled in the Fafaru eating
immunity challenge and was therefore selected
by the Roto tribe to compete in the tie
breaker round who from Roto was chosen
by Mada Amu ultimately defeating
Rob for the win. That is a good question.
Who did the
who did the
I'm going to say
maybe is this a little off the wall
I'm going to say that it was
um
I have a couple of
of different, uh, ideas in my head. I feel like it was a woman. And I'm, I'm between Naliyah and
Tammy. I'm going to say, I'm going to say it was Tammy. Tammy Latelyner. Incorrect. So you get your
first wrong answer of the quiz. Chris, you can steal. My gut was saying Naliyah. So that's who I'm
going to go with. So you're going with your gut. It's the other person that Rob was deliberating.
And that is correct. So Chris, you get another point.
I feel like it would have been a bigger deal.
I feel like they would have like called her like nasty Nalia.
She's going to eat anything.
And I feel like that was not her reputation.
I think the bigger deal is that Boston Rob who historically has done pretty well in the challenges, failed, failed miserably at the Fafu.
And it was the first of two times failing in the Fafru eating challenge.
So Rob, you win six to two.
But Chris, you had a strong finish.
You got on the board.
And it turns out to be a pretty good showing for you.
and we do feel like that in alia i thought i saw like she had like a pretty like wild tweet the other day
let me see if i can find it was political yeah it was not political yeah um she said what what
was it okay uh hmm no maybe maybe not she is not tweeted since 2018 so maybe it was like
one of these like fan accounts that calls themselves nalia is a nalia fan account that's tweeting
in 2020.
They have like crazy names on these like fan accounts.
Wasn't she like rumored for 50 at one point?
I feel like I did see her name pop up on one of these lists, which, which I mean,
she's fine, but of all the players to bring back from Marquesas, I think you could do a little
better.
But anyway, wow, that's all, I mean, she's, she's okay.
I mean, she's fine.
Like, she would have been fine.
There's, there's just, you know, Marquesis has some people that need to come back.
But we are going to go to Rob's favorite.
the verbal rebus, and it's happening now.
The Survivor 40, the Survivor 46, I don't know why that was funny, but it was,
the Survivor 46er who played a fake idol and was voted out at the second tribal of the season.
Plus, the first player to sweep the jury vote, and we're only looking for the first letter
of their name.
So this is a request from Rob for me to give the trivia first and then tell you,
you that we're only looking for the first letter of this person's name. So the first person
to sweep the jury vote, first winner. Um, plus Ron Clark once choreographed a dance for this
starting tribe of which he was a member. Plus, and this is the one that I think you're not
going to like, Jam Jam Jam's last name was Jam Jam's last name minus the flaming
projectile weapon that Brandon Quinton failed to shoot at a target in Africa. So that is,
is the whole thing. Let's break it down now. Who is the 46er who played a fake idol and was voted out
the second tribal? Oh, Jess? It was Jess. Jess Chong. Plus the first player to sweep the jury voted.
I just need the first letter. Is it Earl? It was Earl. I almost swept Twitch. Wow. Well,
that's almost. You've done that before. Okay. So what is the tribe that Ron Clark once choreographed
the dance for.
I'm terrible with tribe names.
It's a famous comma.
I love comma.
It's a famous gif.
Plus Jam Jam's last name.
Arrocho.
Arrocha, correct.
Chris, what a pronunciation there.
I'm surprised.
I feel like the tribe names are hard to remember, but I think the last names are harder
to remember.
So very good on Jam Jam's last name.
Minus the flaming projectile weapon that Brandon Quentin failed to shoot at a target in Africa.
arrow it was an arrow so who do we have jesse camacho jessie camacho second moot baby we did it
we did it okay you like that one rob i think that was a good one well done well struck okay
chris what's coming up for you i will be in new york next week with everybody else uh you gonna drive
For it, it's my, I'm going to fly.
I should drive, but flying's easier for me.
So, yeah, it's a long drive.
It's, I did it one time.
I went to go visit Jenna Maraska during the airing of Survivor of the Amazon.
It's like seven hours.
Yeah, it's, it's not a fun drive.
So I'll just do an hour flight and make it easy on myself.
So I'll be up in New York.
Lots of fun events coming up.
If you are listening to this before New York, absolutely go.
We're doing blood on the clock tower thing.
Oh, I play with that group.
a bunch. I am a big clock tower fan.
Okay. Shout out to that.
In-person Clock Tower.
Yep.
Where will you be doing it?
I don't remember.
I think it's in a park.
I think they're doing it in a park. Yeah.
There's a Tuesday event and a Thursday event.
We initially had the Thursday one and then a lot of us ended up flying out a little
early.
So we've got two opportunities.
If you want to play Clock Tower, we will happily welcome anybody who's got experience or
if you're brand new when I was in the Boston event.
In April, I actually jumped in brand new, didn't know what I was doing, and it was a blast, and I've been playing ever since.
Okay. Wow. What an origin story.
Okay. My first, my first blood on the clock tower experience was also in person, New York City.
It was my, yeah, it was the first blood. And I was a bad guy in my first four games, and it was a very tough experience, but I enjoyed it.
Okay. So, Rob, stay tuned next week, more Twitch. If you see me at the live.
event, say hi. I always love the live
event. You can follow me on Twitter
at Jordan Kalish. And
yeah, I think that's a wrap on
Twitch for this week. All right. Thanks, everybody
for checking this out. If you're listening to the podcast
version, it's Thursday.
But we've been posting these early
for the patrons if you want to
watch the video of me
taking on a patron every week
on Twitch. And if you'd like to participate
and take me on as well, you can do
that over on Patreon. Thank you so much
for listening. Take care. Everybody. Have a good one.
Bye.
