Hey Spotify, this is Javi. My biggest passion is music, and it's not just sounds and instruments, it's more than that to me.
It's a world full of harmonies with chillers. From streaming to shopping, it's on Prime.
Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Sestranino back with our exit interview here after episode 7 of Survivor 47. And we divided into two tribes
and we had a smaller tribal council
that saw a reunion for the Tuku tribe plus Rachel
before Rachel left.
And that left Tiana to be the person
voted out of the tribe.
We will speak with Tiana about everything
from her experience here on the exit interview in just
a moment. And then this week in Survivor history with Jordan Kalish. Wednesday night, I had a lot
of fun talking with Keturah from Survivor 45 about this whole experience. And she had some really
great insight. Plus, I'll have Stephen Fishback here on the Survivor Know-It-Alls coming up.
A little bit of an earlier start time here today, so be on the lookout for that.
Of course, you're not going to miss anything when you're subscribed to our Survivor podcast feed at WeKnowSurvivor.com.
I see that we have Tiana on the line. Let's go ahead and bring her in.
Hey, Tiana. What's going on? Rob Sestranino here.
And very sad to see you go. You had a very emotional reaction coming out of that trouble. Could you just talk us through how you were feeling in that moment? Was it was it betrayal? Was it just sadness about not reaching the jury?
jury? Honestly, it was a little bit of everything and then some and then a little spice on top. I feel like the betrayal was crazy because I felt like I had a really good relationship with Caroline
specifically and also Kyle. And so to see them write my name down as well was pretty crazy and
mind blowing in my head because I'm like, wow, I really had no one out there, you know? So it was, it was almost like realizing I had no one,
also realizing that the game was over way too soon.
And also right at the end, like, are you kidding me?
Like right there, like here I am and here is the freaking end.
So I think that that was also another big point.
And then it was also like the disappointment of letting down
my family. And I know that they would never feel that way about me, but like, it's just the standard
that I hold myself to, you know? Um, and so it was like disappointment in myself, feeling like I let
down my home and my Island and my friends and everyone that roots me on plus betrayal, backstabbing,
not getting there right at the end. So it was a whole mixture of everything.
So it was almost like two different tribal councils that you were at.
So if the first tribal council went down, what was going to happen?
Can you talk us through that?
And do you feel like you know how it would have gone?
I think genuinely that I wanted to work with Rachel.
It was very clear that I wanted to pull a blind side on Gabe with Rachel being there.
However, I don't think I would have had the numbers and I think it would have had to be everybody on Rachel and Rachel would have gone home, unfortunately, which I still.
Were you voting for Rachel? You were going to go and write Rachel's name down?
think in my head I was gonna probably write down a Tuku member so that the people who are watching know that I am out of Tuku so like when we come back as five like let's say Rachel went home
it was four four on Rachel one on Gabe or whatever and I was the person that like kind of stepped
back from it I feel like that would have been a great gameplay for me because one, I would have completely disconnected
from Tuku altogether.
And two, they could have witnessed me literally say,
I'm done with Tuku.
And then I wouldn't have been a threat
or I wouldn't have been the first one voted out of Tuku
when we come back five strong.
I would have been like off the radar.
So I wouldn't have voted for Rachel.
I really think that she's an amazing player.
And obviously I wanted to play with her.
And so, but I think that she would have gone home
because I obviously couldn't get the numbers together.
I was basically playing by myself.
So Rachel leaves and then, you know,
all these conversations start breaking out.
Ultimately, when you go and vote,
what are you hoping that is going to happen?
Like what was your ideal scenario for when Jeff counts the votes?
My ideal scenario would have been that Kyle and Caroline voted for Gabe and then we would have
had the numbers and then Gabe would have went home. At that time, I was suspecting that Sue
had an idol because I was starting to slowly put together, like she had red, there's red, she might have an idol. And so I was kind of nervous that if
she were to be playing the game super hard, she would have played the idol on Gabe to make sure
that he for sure was safe. Wasn't the case that happened obviously. Um, and so that is what my
ideal scenario would have been. Yeah. Can you talk a little bit
about what it was like to have that audience there at that tribal council watching basically a
Tuku pre-merge tribal council play out? Man, it was the weirdest thing ever because every single
time that someone said something or Jeff asked someone a question and they're responding, I just am looking over to the other side, just being like,
wonder what they're one, like, what are they talking about over there? What are they,
what are their thoughts? Like, and so it's almost like you want to be fully present in your
technical tribal council that's going on, but you also want to look a little bit ahead and be like,
oh, is anyone having too big of a reaction on the side? Like,
is anyone feeling like they're leaning towards one person? Do they seem like they're resonating
with what Gabe's saying? Do they feel like they're resonating with what Caroline's saying? Like,
it's almost like you were doing three things at once. You're worried about your own safety,
you're worried about everybody else, and then you're worried about the, like, people who were
safe. So, because you thought that you were going to go back there or I thought I was going to go back so yeah it is what it is I guess Tiana did you
consider doing the shot in the dark at that tribal council honestly no because I thought genuinely
that I had people that were going to go to bat for me and that were going to want to work with me. And so I really genuinely felt like
Caroline was going to have my back because literally that episode, she like broke down
to me and was, she was like, you would never write my name down, Tiana, right? Like you would,
you would never do that for me. Like I would never write your name down. Like, and then she'll,
she was crying and I was supporting her and I was saying, Hey, no, I got you. Like, we're good.
And so that kind of felt below the belt to me because I don't know why you cried to me when you could have cried to
like people who were actually in your Alliance, you know? So yeah. So I thought that we had that
relationship, but like, it was clear that we, we didn't. So. Yeah. Tiana, we saw you talk on a
number of occasions about how, you know, Gabe was somebody that you didn't feel like you could work with in terms of some of the things that he was a maybe untrustworthy ally.
What were some of the things that you saw that made you feel that way?
Yeah, well, first and foremost, once we got on the beach,
he was the very one that was going off
and searching for idols completely by himself.
And usually that's a huge red flag for everyone,
but for some reason,
because he corralled Sue so early,
like, it's almost like, in Sue's eyes,
Gabe could do no wrong,
and she was foreverly connected to him
because he grabbed her from a jump.
Like, so him going off by himself that
was a huge red flag uh I honestly did not feel good vibes and I go strictly off of vibes when
I first get to meet someone obviously so I was not really resonating with anything that like we
were saying we weren't really having good conversation it seemed like he wasn't really
open to having a alliance at all with me so I was like okay and then also turns out i was right
because by episode like by literally like the third day or something he was already throwing
my name out to kyle and i didn't even throw his name out yet like i was just like okay like we're
all kind of trying to stay like too strong and i'm not really freaking out about it yet and so
my instinct was correct however i just didn't have numbers to do
that, to do anything. Speaking of red flags. Okay. I want to talk about Sue and you were the
one person that really, uh, was like getting very suspicious about it. Uh, that maybe might've been
like somebody who could have revealed that information to other people. I know Caroline
also, uh, figured it out. So did you have any conversations with
anybody else? Like, did you share this concern with any people about Sue and what you saw?
I actually shared my concern with Caroline. I went up to her and I said, I genuinely think
Sue has something because remember the only person that we ever saw with red on the Tuku tribe was Sue and her story didn't match up. She said she bit the back of her tongue
and that she was playing with the machete. And then it was like, okay, which one is it? Like,
it's all over you. Like, did you get cut somewhere? And so, and my mom is a registered nurse. So I've
seen blood before and I'm like, that doesn't look like blood. But at that point, Sue was actually
like, she had multiple times where she was crying leading up like every day in Tuku leading up to that time
so that's why we didn't press her that much because we're like that's why I also said she's
kind of scaring me a little bit because she seemed to be going more like unhinged kind of thing so I
didn't want to keep questioning her and so um I shared that with Caroline and I was not planning
on sharing that with anyone else because I thought Sue had with Caroline and I was not planning on sharing
that with anyone else because I thought Sue had my back and I thought Sue was going to be a good
alliance member, but that didn't end up being the case. You know, going back to how your story
played out with going back to the TK vote and Caroline and Sue talking to you about working
with the women to make the move to take out TK. Did seeing the episodes change at all the way
that you relived the experience of being out there? Oh, definitely. I think that when it comes
to TK's blow up that happened after the challenge where he I took it as like him calling us losers
and things like that. I think it ended up being where me and TK are just such tough competitors that like
when you call another athlete like a loser and like, oh, you don't care enough about
losing it.
It stings like I can't get over that.
I was like, that's why I kept saying I feel like you disrespected me on like an athlete
level.
But I also feel like when it came to TK, we had the bridge, which was Kyle.
Like Kyle could bro out with TK. Me and Kyle were getting along really well. So he was kind of the bridge
there. And I think that if me and TK would have more time one-on-one, it would have been
a little bit different. However, what's super unfortunate is that even if we did have that
one-on-one time and we went three and three, we're still tied. We're still going to rock.
So it's almost like it's, you're stuck between a rock and a hard place, literally. Yes. And I think that when it came to TK, it was
just us both being very, very competitive and not having enough time to talk to one another. And so
if things were different, maybe we could have convinced Caroline a little bit, or maybe we
could have done something else. But I think for the most most part I was not game to go to rock so it was either TK's going home or like I was gonna give out yeah easily can you talk about
uh some of the relationships that you had back on the merge beach in terms of other players that
you had good relationships with oh definitely I feel like I was really getting to know Saul very
well I felt like Saul and I really clicked from the jump um teeny was also another one that I was really getting to know Saul very well. I felt like Saul and I really clicked from the jump. Um, teeny was also another one that I was super excited to work with Rachel. I was excited
to work with, obviously with this episode, I really got good vibes from her and we were collaborating,
talking a lot. Genevieve also was someone that I really felt like we could do a lot of damage
together. Um, when it came to post merge and I really was going to roll with the girls.
Like, I really thought that that was a good idea
because just like Tini was saying,
there's been these amazing girl alliances
that pull off these crazy moves.
And I feel like I trusted those girls enough
that we could also pull off some really amazing moves.
But unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to do so, obviously.
But I would have loved the opportunity to.
We haven't talked much about Kyle, who seems to be a close ally of yours.
Did it hurt at all to have Kyle be one of the people to write your name down?
Absolutely. I think that Kyle did what was best for his game. And I think Caroline did, too,
because, you know, she was just doing the numbers and like she was going to lose like either two
alliance members with Sue and Gabe or she was was gonna lose me so it made sense but with kyle i felt like
the whole time i was constantly like exactly what he said during our tribal council like every time
t has come back her story checks out a million times over like she's constantly telling us the
truth and so i just think that kyle i was kind of disappointed that he wouldn't go to bat for me
because I would go to bat for him like I was gonna go for both Caroline and Kyle if it ever came down
to writing their names down I would have been a loyal alliance member and so it seemed like
I don't know it seemed like the a super sucky betrayal yeah you were a big part of Rome going home last week because that Rome was
telling all these stories to people and as you saw the episode a lot of the stories actually were
uh you know you know factual and then you said that doesn't sound like something Kyle would say
and then uh went back and that really got the ball rolling in terms of, uh, sending Rome home. I mean, was that, uh, actually was there, was there
more than we saw in the episode? I think that the episode actually really covered it very,
very well. I think that, um, when it came to the Rome vote out, me and Kyle had such a good
relationship that I don't think I did not think.
And I was right because he did not throw my name out. It was Rome that threw my name out and kind
of twisted Kyle's words around. And he was like, yeah, like Tiana has a good chance of winning,
too. But he took it as like Tiana's a big threat. Kyle said, like throwing your name out or whatever.
And so that's what I talked about in that episode when I was saying like, my gut is
feeling like uneasy because this doesn't make sense. And so I trust Kyle obviously way more
than Rome. And when Saul, someone who I was really resonating with said, this is what Rome does. He
causes chaos and just talks, talks, talks to everybody. Um, it was almost like a done deal.
I'm like, I need this guy out of here because he's going to keep causing chaos and I can't even focus on who he's talking to at this point.
Tiana, is there anything else that you want the listeners
to know about your time on Survivor?
I think that my biggest takeaway
and what I want listeners to know
is that I'm really happy with how genuine I was and that that was really me out there.
I think that my facial expression showed everything, whether I was upset, happy, everything.
I think that they really did a great job of capturing me as a person.
And I also really want to quickly say that I never counted Sue out.
I think she kept saying, like, everyone counts me out, thinks that I'm weak, but it's because it's not because of her age. It was never
because of her age. She's only 45. For whatever reason, she wanted to believe that she was 45.
She's only 45. Um, but it was also, it was just her behavior leading up to everything. Like it
was a lot of breakdowns. It was a lot of she was sick in the shelter.
And so it wasn't that I was counting her out because of her age.
It was because I was counting her out because of her behavior.
Yeah.
And so I want that to be like crystal clear when it comes to my gameplay that I never
wanted her to feel like it was because of her age.
It was always because of what she was doing.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, Tiana, thank you for making some time.
We talked to Keturah last night on the podcast.
She had some very nice things to say about you.
She said that she had a connection with you at season 45 Ponderosa.
So yeah, you always have the good vibes.
Okay.
She's amazing.
I love Keturah.
No, thank you so much for having me.
I really appreciate it.
Thanks, Tiana.
All the best.
Okay.
Take care.
Happy Halloween.
Happy Halloween. Happy Halloween. All right. Bye. All right, everybody. There you have it. There's Tiana.
It just seems like a super nice person in another world. You know, I think that we're talking about
like, oh, what a great social game. If she ends up with the right group, she's just somebody who
ended up like on the wrong tribe. And this happens a lot in the new
era with these six-person tribes where Gabe and Sue and Caroline are pretty locked in early on.
And then really, her and Kyle are good. And her and TK hit a bump in the road after the challenge.
And it's just not going to work out for them. And I don't think she even
realizes while she's out there that she's just on the outside looking in and then she makes the
merge. And then all of a sudden it's a, you know, reverse time travel back to back to the pre-merge
game. I think that if Tiana, if we stay in the merge tribe, probably ends up going pretty far
in this thing, whether it's with the women or with the two coup numbers,
hold out.
I don't think she's a target.
So gets,
uh,
you know,
a little bit like,
I hate to say it's a swap screwed,
but I don't know.
She just gets like split screwed in,
uh,
the way where she probably wasn't going out or wasn't on the radar for
anybody.
And then ultimately,
uh,
two coup gets a chance for some unfinished business here at this specific tribal
council where an advantage takes Rachel out of the works.
So, you know, some tough breaks for Tiana,
but very nice to talk to her here on the exit interview.
Of course, we'll be back with Jordan Kalish,
who is probably in a better mood.
We recorded with Jordan Kalish on Wednesday.
And so better talk to him on Wednesday this week
than talk to him on Thursday
after his beloved Yankees ended up falling last night
in Game 5 of the World Series.
But we'll talk to Jordan Kalish, speaking of time travel,
at a better point for him.
That's coming up next when we play This Week in Survivor History, right after this.
So it's a new year.
You know what that means, setting big goals.
Maybe you promised yourself you're going to hit the gym every day.
Or maybe you said you're going to learn to make fire with a flint for once.
Or the classic, save more money.
But let's be honest, New Year's resolutions tend to fizzle out by February.
Wouldn't it be great if at least one of those goals

All right, everybody, we're back for this week in Survivor history
for Jordan Kalish is back with us.
And so, Jordan, how are you?
Well, when you're listening to this, I'm either
really happy because the comeback is on baby, or I am devastated and I'm weeping in the confines
of my apartment. Yeah. Just to get this out for Thursday morning, recording this, uh, before the
episode tonight. And so, uh, it's Wednesday as we record this and so jordan is uh hoping uh tonight to send the
world series back to los angeles so uh he's a little bit on pins and needles hopefully
not super distracted to be able to uh do twish with your normal standards i could uh what was
it car mentalized carpet i think you would compartmentalize compartmentalize yes there's normal standards. I could, uh, what was it? Carp, carpentalized, carpentalized.
I think you would compartmentalize. Compartmentalize. Yes. There's a lot of
syllables in that word and I'm very good at that. Thank God it hasn't come up on a verbal repus.
Oh, thank God. Yeah. Yes. I'm looking forward to the verbal repus today. I think you'll like it.
All right. And then here with us, it's been patrons playing against me all season long,
although I did lose last week. Uh, here with us today is Erin. Erin, how are you?
I'm great. Thanks for having me, Rob. I'm really excited.
Erin, tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm a school counselor in Salt Lake City.
I've been watching Survivor since season one.
My first episode was the finale, and I actually won a family bet
and got like 50 bucks for choosing Richard to be the winner.
Erin, was all of Salt Lake City very excited about Angela on Big Brother this summer?
You know, I don't know about anybody else, but I came today repping my Angela Vito shirt.
Hopefully it'll give me some good luck.
It is Halloween. I've seen so many Angela costumes for my timeline. Is that what you're going for today?
Sure. Let's go for it, let's go for it.
Let's go for it.
Okay.
All right.
So, Aaron, anything else you want to tell us
about your Survivor fandom?
No, I just, I've been watching for forever.
I've been telling everybody I'm nervous about this today
and everyone's like,
you're the biggest Survivor fan we know,
so you're going to have to crush him.
So everyone's hopes and dreams are riding on this.
I mean, you could just say beat him.
No, crush. Crush. The. I mean, you could just say, beat him. No crush.
Crush.
Aaron,
can I share with you a hot take that Jordan Kayla shared with me?
And Aaron is working.
This is going to get me,
this is going to get me in trouble.
Yeah.
Can I,
can I share a hot take that Jordan Kayla shared with me?
Yes.
I want to hear it.
Yeah.
Uh,
he said,
uh,
that win or lose Aaron Boone should not be back next season.
Assuming that's a baseball player.
He was a baseball player.
Now he's a manager.
That was not the real hot take.
That was not.
No, no.
Look, if you win the World Series, if you come back from three, one, he's,
he's an idiot. He's dumb. However, if you win the world series,
you're not getting fired and you don't deserve to be fired.
He did make one of the dumbest. He, okay. Him game one.
And if you know what I'm talking about, you know what I'm talking about?
Game one, there's no move on survivor.
That's ever been more dumb than what he did.
I'm talking about Eric giving away the idol taking cast to the end? Worse than Woo. Not taking cast to the end? Worse than Tyson. Worse than JT.
Worse than Eric. There's no move on Survivor that's worse than what Aaron Boone did in game
one of the series. Okay. All right, Aaron. So Jordan, are you here to say today that this is
your favorite Aaron? Right now, this is my favorite Aaron. If this were the Twitch playoffs, I can guarantee that Aaron would lose. But I think that Aaron has a chance being that this is your favorite Aaron? Right now, this is my favorite Aaron. If this were the Twitch playoffs, I can guarantee
that Aaron would lose, but I think that Aaron
has a chance being that this is the regular season.
All right, let's get into the Twitch
for today. Okay, so
here are our seasons.
Shout out to all the people that said they stan Twitch.
Oh yeah, everyone stans Twitch.
There are literally a dozen of you.
There are literally, I would say
multiple dozens. I think multiple dozens.
Not that said they stand.
I think they're, okay, so not everyone who stands is going to say they stand.
They're not going to all come out publicly.
It's a little embarrassing.
But I think that there's multiple dozens.
Okay.
Maybe multiple hundreds of dozens.
Okay.
Here are the seasons.
We got Borneo, Fiji, Gabon, Heroes vs. Villains.
You say the season's too fast like
like that's too fast yeah because we have to we have to remember them like uh okay we should do
one of those challenges where i read the seasons and then you have to like repeat the order and
then if you're if you're wrong you're out and you don't get immunity and i do it quickly i'm like
turning the words into numbers just to keep it, to try
to keep up, but it's a little too fast.
Okay, we'll go slow. Okay. Borneo.
Borneo.
Like on Jeopardy, they're like, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop.
Like the categories today are like, uh,
like, and they don't just like, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop.
Like, say it like five seconds.
They do it pretty fast. I mean,
they're on a schedule. Okay, let's go.
Okay, so Borneo was first.
Yeah.
Ready?
Fiji.
Okay.
No, don't be too slow on purpose.
Just don't be like the Micro Machine guy.
Don't be like Rome giving out the seasons.
Gabon.
Yeah.
Heroes versus villains.
Okay.
41.
All right. 46. Okay. that's it all right okay aaron you get to choose the season first let's start with 41 all right so we're going 41 the new era in survivor
san juan del sur baylor wilson won the inaugural Game is a Foot challenge in which players must stack blocks and place a flag using their feet.
The most recent iteration of this challenge was in Survivor 41's Mergatory round, where the players made vulnerable by the hourglass twist competed for individual immunity.
Who won this challenge in 41?
That would be my winner pick, Ricard.
Ricard is correct.
Aaron, you start off with a quick two points.
Very good job.
On your way to crushing him.
Ricard was the winner of that challenge.
I'm happy we don't do this hourglass stuff anymore.
But Rob, it is your turn.
All right.
It's episode several.
Got to go with season 46.
Okay.
Season 46, episode several.
Survivor 46 continued the new era trend of randomly breaking the
merge tribe into two smaller tribes and having them each vote out a player
at tribal in a double boot episode.
Who were the two casualties of this double boot in 46?
It was Tim and it was Soda.
Tim and Soda, no
multiple choice needed. Rob, you tie up the
score. It is two to two
and we're going back
to Aaron's turn in the order and
hopefully Aaron gets a hit here.
Let's do Heroes vs. Villains.
Heroes vs. Villains.
When Boston Rob was voted
out of Heroes vs. Villains, he famously said, you're a little man, coach, due to coach throwing his vote instead of voting for either Rob or Russell. Who did coach throw his vote on at this four to three to one tribal council?
I'm just going to talk it out because I'm sure there's only four answers anyway. So who else was there? There was Parvati, Danielle, Jerry, Sandra, and Courtney.
I'm going to take the multiple choice on this one. Okay. Was it A, Courtney, B, Danielle, C,
Jerry, D, Parvati? It does eliminate, I Yeah, it eliminates Sandra.
I am going to guess Courtney.
Courtney Yates is correct.
And Aaron, you get another point.
You are up three to two.
Good job.
You clearly know your stuff.
And Rob, you get to choose the next question.
I'm going to go with Borneo.
All right.
Borneo all the way back. In the first Merge episode in Survivor history, appropriately titled The Merger, two players served as tribe ambassadors and were given the opportunity to meet, eat, and choose their tribe camp before the tribes officially merged. Who were these two players, one from Pagong and one from Tagi?
That would be Dr. Sean Kniff and Jenna Lewis.
Sean Kniff and Jenna Lewis.
Sean and Jenna Lewis is correct.
Rob, you get two points.
You have a four to three lead.
There are two questions left.
This is still anybody's game,
but Rob does have a one point lead here going into the final two questions.
Aaron, which season are you going to go to?
I'm going to Gabon.
All right, we're going to Gabon.
Who was the first player voted out after the second tribe swap of Survivor Gabon?
The second tribe swap.
I want to say this is the Marcus boot.
Marcus Lehman was the last player voted out before the merge.
And also the first player voted out after the second tribe swap because he was the only player voted out after the second tribe swap before the merge. And also the first player voted out after the second tribe swap,
because he was the only player voted out after the second tribe swap before
the merge.
So Marcus Lehman is correct.
He had you go in there for a second,
a little bit of a trick question,
but you got it.
Oh boy.
Five to four,
Rob,
you need to get this question right with at least,
uh,
at least the multiple choice to tie.
You get a two pointer here.
You win.
We are going to survivor Fiji. get a two-pointer here, you win. We are going to Survivor Fiji.
Not my strongest season.
I mean, this is set up pretty well for Aaron, okay?
But this is a question about the player
that your son is named after.
After Anthony was voted out,
who joined the Ravu tribe from Exile Island
at the beginning of this episode? Um.
I think I know it.
Um.
Not a hundred percent sure,
but I believe,
and I'm not going to take the multiple choice, and so this is going to open up the door for
Aaron to win.
I'm going to go with...
Aaron's winning
right now.
Aaron's winning 5-4.
But if I get this right, without the multiple
choice, I will win. And so I
am guessing without the multiple choice...
Yes. I think that's the right decision.
Going for two. You're like the Mike Tomlin.
Yes. Okay.
I'm going to say that it was Lisi.
Lisi Linares, known primarily for her musical exploits and her famous Tidy Whitey's video.
Rob, you are correct, and you win the quiz.
So, Aaron, you didn't get the victory.
However, there are moral victories on Twitch, and you did very well.
You only lost six to five.
Got all the questions right.
Yeah, didn't get a question wrong.
Did not smash him, though.
No.
Multiple choice.
I should have gone with my gut.
Should have gone with your gut.
But that's okay.
Look, you are a first-time player going up against a Survivor legend.
So it's kind of the nerves maybe got to you.
A trivia legend.
Yes. Survivor trivia. A trivia legend. Yes.
Survivor trivia and podcasting legend.
Aaron, would it be any consolation for you to play the verbal rebus puzzle?
I've been so looking forward to the verbal rebus puzzle.
I stan the verbal rebus.
What part of it do you stan?
Help me understand.
I read them over too fast.
He reads them too fast.
No, I like being able to say that I know people's last names and things.
It's a skill not a lot of people have, so I usually get them right.
Okay.
When you've gone all in on the survivor and you get to put all that knowledge together
and then create a survivor contestant, a survivor baby out of the many seeds of the verb.
Survivor has long since abandoned
the rebus puzzle. Jordan Kalish still going. Yeah. We're the, we're the game within a game
within a game. Yes. All right. All right. Here we go. Verbal rebus puzzle. Okay. This player
on the healers tribe was in a showmance with Jessica Johnston plus. Okay. Hold on a second. Okay. Got it.
Plus Boston.
Rob wore a little blank hat.
Okay.
Plus Brenda made this player take out her teeth at final tribal.
Okay.
Plus players on the Espada tribe were blank.
Okay.
Plus, relatively.
Plus, Jesse Lopez's blank wrote,
get that money, baby.
Okay.
All right, Aaron, as our guest,
who do we have here?
Okay, who is the player?
Aaron looks so happy.
Who was the player in the show?
Colby Donaldson.
Yes, Colby Donaldson.
That is correct.
Famously, he's someone who is...
I don't know one way to verbal rebus,
and that's full tilt. Yeah, famouslyby Donaldson. That is correct. Famously, he's someone who verbal rebus and that's full tilt.
Yeah, famously not not in
a show, man. So there was maybe some people who
wanted to be in a show, man. Colby was not. But
every morning I wake up and thank
God for two things. Number one, that I'm
alive. Number two, that I don't ever
ever do verbal rebus.
This is this is before the
rebus on Survivor way before the rebus.
I think Colby might be might like the verbal Rebus.
He'd pretend to.
I don't think so.
Tina would.
Tina would pretend to.
Colby was literally on Survivor with people.
And then said, hey, I don't know anybody's name here.
So I don't think he would like doing a challenge that involves coming up with the names and last names of all sorts of other people that aren't even on the show with him.
Did Top Shot not have a verbal rebus challenge? I don't think
so. Did you watch a lot of Top Shot?
I never watched it. I think I watched
like 30 minutes of it once. It was like
on when I decided to.
I was at my grandma's house as a kid and I remember
watching some Top Shot.
Good week on
Twitch. Aaron, great job. We got
Colby Donaldson. Rob, you did okay too. You won. That, good week. Good week on Twitch. Aaron, great job. Uh, we got Colby Donaldson.
Uh, Rob, you did okay too. You won. Uh, so that's always, that's always nice. And, um, you know what next time is this, it'll either be like the Jordan Kalish funeral or I'll be
the happiest I've ever been. So, uh, that'll we'll see. We'll see. Yeah. Well, if that,
you know, if Trump wins on Tuesday, that's when Jordan will be the super happy. Okay.
All right. That's that.
You heard it here today, folks, that he
said one week. Talking about the Yankees,
Rob. Oh, okay.
I'm going to take the glove off your hand
like that fan did to Mookie Betts.
All right. Aaron,
what else can we talk about? Can I make an
official endorsement? I actually voted last night.
No, it's fine. It's fine. We got it. We got it.
Aaron, what about for you? What do you want people to check out? You have any plugs?
Follow me on Twitter. I'm AaronK11.
And reach out to your local high school. See if they need any donations for scholarships for their students.
We really need them for our students a lot.
Okay.
All right.
How do people do that?
Just reach out locally?
Yeah, reach out to your local counseling center.
Whether you have $20, $50, anything that the counselors would love to be able to award that to students that are deserving.
Okay.
And Jordan, between now and next Thursday, high variance week for you. A lot of, a lot of,
let's stay at stake. Hey, look, we, we, we, we've seen some great comebacks in,
in sports and on survivor. We had a Chris Dardy in, in, in Vanuatu come back from a six to one
deficit. It could happen. That's a lot more than a three to one deficit baby. So you never know.
You can follow me at Jordan Kalish, come to the survivor
viewing parties at St. Pat's in New York city. If you're, if you're in town or if you live here
and, uh, another, another great week on Twitch and another incredibly written verbal rebus.
And I don't think we made any mathematical, mathematical errors this week. And Aaron,
uh, just between you and me, Jordan had said, he doesn't mind if the Yankees lose the world
series, as long as the jets could beat the Texans on Thursday.
Never said that.
We're
at the... I'm not even getting into this
Jets BS now.
I'm at the point now where it's like it's the same
at this point every season. It's better if the Jets lose.
We're not going anywhere.
