RHAP: We Know Survivor - Exit Interview: Sixth Juror on Survivor 49
Episode Date: December 11, 2025Exit Interview: Sixth Juror on Survivor 49 Rob Cesternino (@RobCesternino) interviews the latest castaway voted off the Survivor 49 island, followed by This Week In Survivor History with Jordan Kalis...h (@JordanKalish) where Rob plays against an RHAP patron. Survivor 49 is back with Rob Cesternino leading an in-depth Exit Interview after one of the wildest Tribal Councils of the season. Rob is joined by Steven Ramm, known as the rocket scientist, who shares his firsthand account of what went wrong when the votes suddenly flipped against him. This episode dives deep into trust, shifting alliances, and one big plan that unraveled just when Steven thought he was safe. Rob and Steven break down all the chaotic events after Immunity, including the confusion over the “Knowledge is Power” advantage and the shocking moment when Sage and Kristina chose to betray Steven. Listeners get an insider perspective on the signs of betrayal Steven noticed, why he stuck with his original plan, and how Survivor’s unpredictable alliances can change the game in an instant. Steven recounts the uneasy feeling he got when Kristina and Sage had secret beach discussions without him—setting off alarm bells. Rob asks Steven to reflect on whether playing his advantage actually put a bigger target on his back, and if not having it could have kept him in the game. Steven reveals why he didn’t trust Yellow Sophi after being lied to, and instead saw Savannah as a more reliable, if dangerous, ally. The duo explores how Rizzo’s idol theatrics might have annoyed the jury and why Steven didn’t see Rizzo as a big endgame threat from his vantage point on the island. Steven opens up about the complexity of working with allies who didn’t always seem to “play basketball the same way,” and how missed connections led to his blindside. Heading into the finale, Rob and Steven weigh whether the tight alliances on the other side have made it impossible for underdogs to make a comeback. Will loyalty hold strong, or is another shocking blindside around the corner? Hey, everybody.
What's going on.
Rob Sesterino,
back with our exit interview
after episode number 12.
And it was a wild episode
that this finish
in this episode was
one of the crazier finishes
I can remember.
And I was stunned,
he was gagged
when I saw this person
that we're going to talk to today,
get voted.
out. Stephen Ram, the rocket scientist. He looked like things were going pretty good for Stephen
for a minute, but he ends up getting voted out, and we have a lot to talk about here with
Stephen on our exit interview. Last night, I talked to a different Stephen on Survivor No Adults.
I know we were having some issues with the podcast feed, so if you're listening to this,
hopefully it's all resolved now. But if you did not get the Survivor Know Italls for some reason,
definitely check it out. And I apologize for the inconvenience on the text.
side. Hopefully we have everything straightened out now. And then later on today, I'm going to talk
with Survivor 48th Cheyne to talk about everything that we have going into the finale. So really
jam-packed day. So looking forward to all that. But first, we've got Stephen and then we'll do the
finale of this week in Survivor history. But let's patch in Stephen. Hey, everybody, Rob Sussnero
here with Stephen. And Stephen, how are you? You know, I've seen.
better days. But honestly, I just got to watch a crazy explosive tribal. I'm glad I went out
with a bang. Who is more blindsided at that tribal council? You or the viewers?
Oh, dude, honestly, I think the other people sitting at tribal council were a little bit more
bamboozled than I was. I mean, the knowledge is power getting played incorrectly. And then on
top of that, like, I thought at that moment, I had it in the bag. I was like, we're good to go.
And like, when they still flipped on me, you know, like Savannah came back and she was shot.
she's like, oh, my God, my boat's gone.
Like, you need to play your idol.
And they were chattering, like, in figuring out what to do.
I don't know, man.
I was, I was incredibly shocked in the moment.
Yeah, I 100% thought that it was going to be Sof, who was going home and not you.
And then what a shock that it was Sage and Christina that ended up flipping against you.
Now, you clocked, I thought, very perceptive that like, hmm, Christina, that this is, I see the spaghetti on the side of her mouth.
can tell something is afoot here. But did you think that there was anything more to that?
Did you feel like that there was a chance that there was a betrayal coming?
I did. And, you know, it's one of those things that even though you sent something's coming,
you do everything you can to lay the plans in motion that you have. I thought that I had this
awesome plan with this block of vote. And I did everything I could to try to cement that in as
the path forward. But there were definitely signs. So like we get back from immunity, Savannah's got
the necklace, not myself, which was a big bummer. And,
the first thing that happens is Sage and Christina are chatting one-on-one over on the beach and usually
we're a trio talking. And so that was like, okay, maybe they're just, because we all pair off
and we do one-on-one chats with people, you know. I was like, maybe they're just getting theirs out
of the way. Christina comes up. She accidentally spills that my name was being considered in that
conversation they just had. And then immediately after that conversation with Christina, she went back
and was talking to Sage again on the beach. And I was like, why is she running back to talk to Sage?
I was like, it seemed like they were trying to get their story straight.
And then while that was happening, I went and I just chatted with Rizzo one-on-one, grabbing water.
And I asked him, I was like, hey, Christina just said the weirdest thing to me.
And I explained what happened.
And he goes, oh, you know, Christina, like, you know, don't worry about it.
Like, she probably didn't mean it.
Like, and I'm like, why are you defending my ally to me?
Like, are you guys working together?
So, like, I was definitely clocking that something might be up.
Alarm bells were going off.
But I definitely felt confident that, like, the logical soundness of the plan that I had made the most sense.
for my allies. So I was like, maybe they're considering every option, but they're still
going to work with me and move forward. I had a weird thought yesterday when I watched the episode
where what if you never got that advantage? Let's say you went and you did a great job on that
journey. But let's just say you didn't come back. Not even though you lied. You didn't get the thing.
You didn't even have an advantage. Do you think that you'd still be in the game? Because what's
Sophie going to do with knowledge is power.
There's nothing else to steal except for Rizzo's idol.
Yeah, that's a good question.
I haven't even thought about that.
Did the knowledge is power?
Did that expire after this vote?
Do you ask me, you were there?
I don't, she didn't share that.
I think that that was the last time to use it.
I believe, but I'm not 100% sure.
Maybe.
So like, okay, let's say she does steal the idol, right?
I think she's going to play it on herself and then I still go home.
You still go home.
I mean, because we were throwing votes on her.
Yeah, so like I still think that maybe it would have been cooked either way, but that's a very interesting thought experiment.
Sorry, I apologize for the intrusive thought.
Okay, Stephen, I want to go back to the final seven because I thought that that was a really interesting vote for you where ultimately that yellow Sophie, who seemed like that you two were never really on the same page, that she wants to vote out Savannah.
So, hey, this is our time to strike at Savannah, but you end up chatting it up with Rizzo.
and you end up, hey, I can keep my advantage, one more round.
This will be more valuable at the final six.
Your math checks out there.
The block of vote is better at the final six.
But looking back, have you thought about, like, what if I vote out Savannah at seven?
How does that change things?
Yeah, you know, obviously you look back and you wonder, oh, you play the wood or should
have a could a game left and right.
And I think about that move quite a bit.
But I think if I had kept, like my big thing with Yellow Sophie is that she,
had lied to me straight up on the past two votes.
Like even though Sage and Jawan, they clued me in that the votes were going on Alex
and I voted incorrectly on purpose to try to hide how closely we were working together.
But, I mean, Yellow Sophie lied to my face at that moment.
And then also in the next vote with the Jawan blind side.
And so if she had survived to play another game, yeah, we voted together to get Savannah out.
But like she was someone that I had a hard time reading.
She was a great liar and she had like burned me twice.
At least with Savannah, she's kind of like, it's like the devil you know.
She always did exactly what she said she was going to do.
and she was much more predictable in the way that she was voting.
And, like, she just seemed very loyal to the soil with the people she was working with.
Yellow Sophie, though, I mean, we get to the next round and she could tell me, oh, I'm voting with you again, Stephen.
But, like, can I really trust that that's going to happen?
I don't know.
Okay.
I'm going to ask you a difficult question because this is something that from many of us on the outside have been wondering about because we've seen so much of the talk in the season is, hey, we have to get out Savannah.
Savannah, she's a big threat.
People talk to yellow Sophie.
That's a big threat.
Stephen, look, we have to vote out, Stephen, he's a big threat.
Rizzo, we hear about, we have to flush Rizzo's idol, but did the players that were out there
at the, you know, taking yourself back to when you were out on the island, was Rizzo for some
reason not considered to be as big of a threat to win?
It seems like that people don't seem afraid of Rizzo getting to the end.
I can't speak for others, but I could speak for myself.
I was not afraid to sit next to Rizu at the end.
I mean, the most that I could say about his game
was that he was standing up and flexing
that he had an idol.
And after the second time of playing it,
dangling it and not playing it,
for no real strategic purpose
other than theatrics like playing after the jury.
I mean, the jury, it did not seem
like they were receiving it very well.
And I was like, this is great.
If he's going to keep doing this and like he's rubbing the jury
the wrong way, I'm going to sit next to this guy at the end.
I wasn't obviously aware of all the conversations
he's having behind the scenes.
I mean, you only see things that are in front of you.
I liked Rizzo.
I thought he was playing a good strategic game.
you can tell you you're sharp.
He's like a student of the game and he could tell you like every boot order and
like he could tell you when things expire.
The knowledge is power thing.
He probably knows that.
He's probably watching this now and being like,
Stephen, come on.
We talked about this.
But like,
yeah,
I don't know.
I just didn't see him.
Like he wasn't winning challenges and I don't really put a lot of stock and
physical challenges honestly in terms of like gameplay.
But I just didn't feel threatened by him.
I was like he's not going to beat me in immunity.
And I don't think that his speech at the end is really going to play off the way that
maybe he thinks it is.
So like I would love to sit with him.
So maybe.
there's a disconnect between what we're seeing in his confessionals where he's talking things through
and what the people on the island were seeing and also that the theatrics with the idol
at tribal council may be rubbing people the wrong way. Yeah, totally. But like at the same time,
I mean, you know, you just do the best you can with the information you have at the time.
And he was playing an awesome game. And like, honestly, it was fun watching him at tribal council and like,
busting that out. You just never knew what he was going to do. And it was always like, it was always a good time.
love Brzo and like honestly, um, I will say my first impression of him at the pre, you know,
when we first merged, I was like, this is like the, he's Gen Z. I'm like almost, I'm 10 years
his senior. And like, I just thought at first he was kind of annoying with his like little sayings
and like, you know, but then like really grew to love him. Like I really grew to love him. He really
grew on me. He's like a real solid dude. And like, yeah, I think it would have, you know,
been challenging to beat him at the end. But I felt maybe naively so that I could have made it happen.
I don't know. Okay. Tell me a little bit about your ideal final three. So,
you wanted, I'm sure Christina was part of it, but who was the third person that you wanted to sit with?
I didn't think it mattered. I'm going to be completely honest. I felt like I could beat any single
one of those folks that were sitting at the end because I had a lot of friends on the jury
and there were a lot of elements in my game that I was holding back that people weren't aware of
that honestly, unfortunately didn't make a lot of the edit, but like I was clued in working with
Sage and Jawan really tight. Like I knew every single vote where things were happening, like where
things were going, except for the Joanne Blindside and, of course, my own. But, like, I knew where
things were going. I had a really good, strong, pre-merged game that, for better, for worse, never had
to come to fruition. But I was super well-insulated there. And I felt like if I got a chance to
pitch my game, I was well-rounded. I've won competitions. I played strategic game. I had a really
good social game. Everyone liked me. And so, in hindsight, man, I should have maybe tried to dial that
back a bit. And I did my best. But, like, I don't know. Like, it didn't really matter to me.
like Sage. Honestly, probably blue Sophie maybe. I wasn't aware of some of the game that she was
playing. She was like very under the radar to me. I just thought she was a number for her alliance.
And like I didn't really see her as someone that was influencing a lot of votes. Obviously
didn't see what a masterful game she played in Keller leading up to it because I was not privy to
what happened. I just saw her survive after, you know, tribal after tribal. So I knew she was a good
social threat. But I don't know. I just, maybe this is arrogance, but I just like, dang, I really think
I can win. I don't know. Okay. We see.
saw you share a lot of information with Sage, and a couple of times Sage betrayed that confidence
that you showed in her before ultimately then wanting to vote you out. Where do you think the
disconnect came from with you and Sage? Gosh, if I knew that, I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you
right now. In general, I think that one of my biggest mistakes was not telling Joanne at the same
time as Sage. And the reason I didn't is like, it's not that I was trying to withhold information from
Juan because I didn't trust him. It's just that I didn't trust that Joam wouldn't inadvertently
accidentally spill stuff because he didn't sometimes have the best poker face. But Sage was
someone that I really did trust. And we talked a lot of strategy and I love Joanne to death.
But that was the main reason. And I always intended to clue him in on stuff. But like that was a big
move. And I think by not doing that maybe that also, it was really naive in me to assume that
she wasn't going to immediately go tell her like ride or die number one. I knew in that bottoms up
alliance, like I was at the bottom of the pecking order because they were from Uli at the very
beginning like they were just tied at the hip but yeah i don't know i thought after joan got uh voted off
i was like maybe i'm the new no you know like and so maybe that was my my downfall yeah stephen it
sounds like in in talking this through with you and from my own observations that it seems like that
you know you're with a group of people where that the other side seem they have things so locked down
that there's no there's no wiggle room in terms of them turning on each other.
And you've talked about these allies that you have who are all wonderful, fun people,
but it seems like that there was just a disconnect in terms of everybody being on the same page.
Yeah. Yeah, it was, I mean, you nailed it.
I mean, it's the best way I describe it is it's hard to play basketball with people that don't know how to pick and roll.
And like there were just moments where people were making movies.
I was like, what is going on?
And like, sometimes, like, for me, I'm like, okay,
this is someone that I saw as a threat,
so it makes me survive one vote further.
I don't have blood on my hands for, like,
the people that are getting voted out
and getting blindsided going to the jury.
And I'm not seen as someone that's orchestrating a vote,
even though it benefits me.
So I'm trying to stay under the radar
and, like, minimize my threat level.
So, like, as much as I loved Alex,
I mean, you know, Rizzo was taking credit,
like a savvy player like me, could see that he's playing the middle.
But like, we all saw he was playing the middle.
I mean, you know,
Um, yeah, I don't know. Like, it was, it was tough at moments. Like, they were, especially coming back, um, after the split tribal. Um, MC was gone. I mean, I know yellow Sophie felt like betrayed. Like we were shocked that she came back. I wasn't shocked that she came back. I was shocked that both her and MC didn't come back. And I was
the big shock. Um, of course, MC was my secret number one. All the way back from OG Heena, her and I were working closely together. And so like when she left, that blew up a lot of my plans. That's why I really confided in Sage because she had saved me two votes.
in a row, like she had, you know, put Penn to parchment and followed through on keeping me
in the game when it would have been very easy for her to just vote me out with the Ouli
domination, majority alliance premurge, and then with the Nate vote. So like, I really thought
I could trust Sage, but there were just times where they'd come back. I'm like, what the heck? I thought
we were going after Savannah. I thought we were going after Rizzo. Now you're coming over here and
saying, Alex is the vote? And I'm like, but like all the votes are going that way and we're
trying to hide the fact that we're working together. So like, I'm not going to go and try to
campaign against it. And I'm like, you know, Alex is someone that eventually I need to vote out
anyway. And he was playing the middle. And I didn't really know where his alliance or legion
stood. So I was like, okay, I guess this works for me. And I get to survive to live another day.
But yeah, man, it was tough at times. But I try not to hold it against people because, like,
you're just doing the best you can with information you have out there. But it definitely
was, like, struggling. I think I look at Survivor a little bit. Like, when you go to a museum and
you can see a painting, right? And two people look at a painting and maybe walk away with like
different interpretations of like what it means to them. And so like you can look at two different
scenarios and have totally different interpretations on what's the logical right move moving
forward. And I think that was maybe my downfall was assuming that my allies were looking at
the painting and interpreting it the same way and wanted to sit next to me at the end with the same
way I wanted to sit next to them. So I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. It was tough man. Yeah. Stephen,
was there any space fact that you really wanted to share that you didn't get a chance to that you
have the opportunity to now.
Or if you have that kangaroo analogy?
Dude, I had no kangaroo analogy.
It was like meant to be a joke because, I don't know, I like talk about space all the time.
It's such a big part of my personality.
I went out in the game and I almost decided to lie about my profession because I was
worried people would clock rocket scientist.
That's a threat.
We got to send this person home.
But I'm like, that's such a fundamental part about who I am.
And I think my golden retriever energy and my other part of my right brain can maybe put them at ease
and, you know, I'm terrible at puzzles, so I was like,
they're not going to see me as a threat after a while.
But yeah, dude, I don't know.
I will say this.
Like, there's a really cool moon.
It's around Saturn.
It's called Titan, biggest moon around Saturn.
And it has weather patterns.
It has rain.
It has oceans.
It has rivers as flowing water.
Well, not water.
It has methane because it gets 1% of the sunlight that Earth does.
And I think of methane and I think of cowfarts.
And so I just imagine this world that you literally step into and it smells like cowfurt's, dude.
Like everything else looks the same.
I bet Sage would have loved hearing that.
Dude, I know.
And if there were aliens that came to Earth, I wonder if they expel as their bodily functions, oxygen.
So maybe they'd come here and be like, what the hell, Earthlings?
It smells like farts here.
And then we'd be like, no, your world smells like farts.
And then we get into this big intergalactic war, bro.
Next thing you know, it's all over whose planet smells the worst.
And so, I don't know, Titans cool, man.
Wow.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
You got it.
Steven, sorry to see you go.
Put some fun stuff out there this season.
So we appreciate it.
And all the best outside Survivor, okay?
Hey, thanks so much. It was a pleasure talking to you, like, this is a dream come true.
And I love everything you do. And just thanks for giving me a chance to talk about my game.
And yeah, really great to talk to you too. And I'm sure we'll talk more in the future.
Yeah, absolutely. I love that.
All right. Everybody, there you have it. Stephen Wright, number one survivor, Stephen in my book,
uh, not the tribe and I had spoken, which is available at robespook.com, but in all seriousness,
of fun to talk to Stephen. And I feel like that Stephen's allies,
did him in more so than himself.
Although I do feel like that at the final seven,
I do think that they should have taken that shot at Savannah.
But what are you going to do?
Okay, that's Survivor Baby.
And we will have our, speaking of Survivor Seeds Baby,
we have Jordan Kalish coming up right after this
with our final, this week, and Survivor history of the season.

All right, everybody, let's get into a little bit of Twish. It's the Twish season finale with the man
who's brought joy to all the Survivor fans all year round. It's Jordan Kalish.
Ho, ho, ho. Merry
Trishman, Twishmas.
Oh, boy.
Yes. Yes. Jordan.
I don't want to come sit on my lap, though.
I'm not really...
Okay. Thank you for, yeah.
Thanks for letting us know.
All right.
Would I be a good mall Santa? I think I might be actually.
Would Jordan be a good mall Santa?
I'm not old. Am I old enough?
Well, I don't know what if you have to be a certain age.
I don't think there should be age discrimination in mall Santas.
That's true.
I think, I mean, you put the, you put the beard on anyway.
You put the fake beard on and the hat.
But I think I'd be good.
I'd have, I think I'd have a good, like, good control over the elves.
I think I'd get the elves to do what I needed them to do.
Yes.
What does mall Santa need the elves to do?
That'd be around for the picture, I think.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, it's going to run a tight ship.
Yeah, I think I could do it.
I think it'd be good.
Typically, I feel like that the elves are running the show.
Santa just sits there and they're like, oh, the elf, there's like one lady that's like,
all right, you over here, you over here.
okay you move on middle middle management yeah i guess i guess santa's not really really giving the commands
to the else yeah he's a show pony all right let's bring in our guest for this week's twish they calling

Well, my sister showed it to me a long time ago. You tuned in to season 39. This is my show.
I was like, there is nothing that could be this season. Like, I want anybody tell me about this.
My sister told me to watch it a long time before that
Because I started watching Big Brother
And I watched Survivors like
This show is not as good as Big Brother
Don't feel that way anymore
And then I come to the dark side
Interesting I feel like a lot of people
It's like hey Big Brother is better than Survivor
Well the reason I liked
The Worm is turned
This is so much more real
I feel like all these confessionals are so scripted in Survivor
But then I really watched it for real
And I was like oh no
Yeah
But anyway
Then I've been watching live since 14
and now I'm, I'm in the zone.
In the zone.
I've seen everything, except if there's any Redemption Island questions, I've never seen
Redemption Island, so.
Uh-oh.
We're about, we're about to find out if there's going to be any redemption island.
So let's get the categories here.
We have the Australian Outback.
It wouldn't be a Twitch finale without Guatemala, baby.
We have 47.
We have 48.
We have the mystery box and we have mystery box two.
They're both mystery boxes.
You can choose whichever one you want in either order.
But, you know, we don't know if there's going to be any redemption island.
They could be in those mystery boxes.
Could be in the mystery box.
Okay.
Josh, how are you feeling?
All right.
Wait, do I get to go first?
You have to choose a category, yeah.
I'm picking Australian out back.
I just rewatch this season.
Okay.
So this is fresh for you.
It's very old for everyone else, unless you've recently rewatched the season.
when eventual All-Stars winner Amber
was voted out of her original season
who was the only player
besides herself
who did not vote against her
um
Colby
oh shoot
Colby Donaldson who is about to be on
final answer is he locked in
uh okay let me just think it through
Roger and Elizabeth I'm guessing
would have voted for Amber
because they needed her
go
Colby
Colby I'm saying
Kobe because I think
you voted for Keith
so you're locking
you're locking
Colby in
so Colby is
the correct answer
he's about
and he was the only one
who was not vote
besides Amber not
voting in the majority
on that vote
so Josh
he started with
the two-pointer
who did he vote for
he I don't think
it was for Keith
it was probably for
Roger Elizabeth
I actually didn't
write it down
it was one of them
I think it
is maybe Roger potentially.
I will double check.
I feel like we need to have this on the record here.
Survivor, Australian, Outback, click, click, click.
I don't know why I turned it to do a Trojan there.
But on that vote for Amber, it was a.
I think it was Roger also.
Yeah, well, it was Roger.
They both Amber and Colby voted for Roger.
So Rob, you can tie it up here.
Where are we going to go next?
I'll go 48.
Survivor 48, the most recent season you can go to, despite, and this is going to be, so we're doing episode 12s, but also, since it's the Twitch finale, we are doing finale episodes too.
Despite the edit, suggesting that Joe would win if he got to the end, he only ended up receiving one vote in the first instance in the new era in which all three finalists received at least one jury vote.
Who cast the one jury vote for Joe?
who cast the one jury vote
for Joe
um
um
I'm going to say
was it
I don't think I know either
Was it David?
Is that a final answer?
That's the final answer.
Final answer, you were incorrect.
Josh, you said you don't know it, but you can steal.
Okay.
Risk free here, you can get an extra point.
I think that it was, much like me, the man wearing green, was it Cedric?
Cedric cast a lot of votes in this season.
He cast three at one tribal at one point, and he did cast the one jury vote for Joe.
So, Josh, you get another point.
This is the second.
second week in a row.
And Josh, this for you will be a spoiler
because you haven't listened yet to last weeks
because we're recording these back to back.
You didn't know what you did.
That's true.
Well, we know.
But this is the second week in a row
where Rob is down, where Rob is down, 3-0.
But Rob did win last week.
So the comeback could be on again.
I thought you were about to tell me
Cedric wasn't on the jury.
I was like, oh.
No, he was on the jury.
And he cast the vote for Joe.
So he was the second person voted out in the split tribal debacle.
So, Josh, you get to choose the category.
Was it a spite vote for Moka Joe?
Yeah.
I think it might have been.
Okay.
So what did you say, Josh?
47, please.
So the other new era season, which two players were co-conspirators and voted along with
Twish alum Baby Andy in his signature Operation Italy move against Caroline?
Hmm, this one is tough.
I'm going to say,
Genevieve and Sam.
Genevieve and Sam,
it doesn't sound so tough with the...
Yeah, because it was the easiest question ever.
You get two points.
I mean, it was not that long ago.
I mean, if this were an episode of really long time ago,
I know this is a famous move.
Which two players alongside Amanda and Natalie Bolton took the hidden immunity idol from Eric Reichenback?
All right.
This is kind of an easy question.
But look, that's the luck of the drive.
Easiest question, I think, that you asked the entire season.
Here's the thing.
I know that you, like, this always comes up.
I don't really have.
Who voted for Joe?
I don't know what's easy and what's hard.
I thought that, like, I don't know.
I thought that you don't know that Sam and Genev voting with Andy was easy.
I know that it was easy for me, but most of them are never easy for me.
Let's, okay, but it's a five zero lead for Josh.
This is a big lead.
Rob, where are we going to go next?
I know where you can go next.
You can go to the mall.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Give me the mystery box.
What the hell?
One or two.
One.
Okay.
Mystery box number one.
What was the first season in Survivor history to feature a fire making tiebreaker
challenge at the final four?
Um.
it was
Palau
Palau was that too easy
no
okay that you are you are right
I thought that was
I think that's also
I would have got in that one
okay see I don't know what's easy
and what's hard I
I have no grasp on what's a hard question
what's an easy question but no I mean I knew
the 47 was easier I thought that the 47
and the mystery but that mystery box were
two of the easier questions on this quiz
but it is five to two
Josh you have
have control of the board. So watch a lot of jeopardy lately, so I get to say control of the board.
Nice. Can you refresh me what's on the board? I know Mystery Box 2 and Guatemala.
Let's do Mystery Box 2. All right. Mystery Box 2. I do think this is the harder of the mystery
boxes, by the law. Awesome. What was the first season in Survivor History in which the mayor of
Ponderosa, aka the first jury member, did not cast their jury vote for the winner of the season?
Oh my God
You just have to give me the season
You don't have to give me the juror
But this is a hard to say
I'm going to
I'm going to guess it was
Pearl Islands
Pearl Islands is incorrect
So Rob you can steal a point
The first season where the first juror did not cast their vote for the winner, I'm going to say it was, I'd say it was Survivor the Australian Outback.
Survivor, the Australian Outback is incorrect.
So you're both wrong.
The answer is Survivor Thailand.
Aaron Cullen voted for Clay.
So in Survivor, the Australian Outback, was it?
Was Alicia the first member of the jury?
Yeah, and she voted for Tina.
She did?
Yes.
You could look back, but she voted for Tina.
I double-checked.
Now we're checking.
All right.
We're going to Survivor Australian Outback again.
This is the second time on this podcast, I've gone to the Survivor Australian Outback
Wiki, and I could confirm when I scroll down that Alicia voted for the winner, Tina
Wesson.
All right.
So that was a hard.
To me, that's probably the hardest question on the quiz.
You both got it wrong.
That's rare where both players get the question wrong.
And Rob, you get the Guatemala question.
You are unfortunately, the best you could do here is five to four.
So you unfortunately have mathematically lost the quiz,
but let's see if you can get it.
Multiple loved ones got to go back to camp,
but who actually won their loved one in the auction with the highest bid
and was able to choose which two other players got their visit as well?
Did the loved ones visit in the auction?
It was weird.
It was the last auction item.
Yeah.
And you were allowed to pull money.
Yeah.
I'll say it was.
I'm trying to think of who was Judd.
Judd is correct.
So Judd won.
He pulled his money with Cindy.
Cindy gave him money.
So the people he selected were Cindy.
And then Stephanie had the second largest bid.
And he picked his, he said his Jersey Girl, Steph.
So Rob, you do get the two points there.
You finish five to four.
Josh, you win the game.
Congratulations.
Woo! Let's go.
okay i'll take you i'll take the win all right josh how do you feel about verbal rebus let's do it
okay let's go to the verbal rebus i think that this one is pretty straightforward pretty straightforward
verbal rebus tony once made llama noises to her plus plus the first player the first player ever to win
survivor twice plus this player has never broken the honor of a handshake but has has
imitated an elephant.
I just watched that season, too.
Nice.
Plus, the player who once asked Lindsay
if her, Lindsey Richter,
if her mother ever hugged her.
Minus,
the player who lost the Ghost Island jury vote by one,
were looking for his initials.
All right. So, Josh,
who did Tony make the Lama noises to?
Cass.
Cass. Who's the first player to win twice?
Sandra.
Sandra.
who never has never broken the honor of a handshake but has imitated an elephant great scene
that would be frank that was frank uh same season the player who once asked lindsay richter if
her mother ever hugged her linda linda savage um not linda savage
spencer but that was a savage savage moment um and then uh the the player who lost the ghost island jury
vote by one the initials of this player d a dominic abate so who do we have cassandra franklin
Yeah, Cassandra Franklin, the one of the two runners-up of Survivor Fiji.
So, Rob, there it is.
Strong Verbal Rebus, strong quiz.
Maybe an easy question thrown in there, but that's how they come to couples.
Listen, I'll let the listeners be the judge.
You did clinch the winning record on Twitch a while ago this season, but unfortunately, you finished on a lot.
The patrons are getting too good.
I know.
The patrons have been very strong this season.
I got to say, I just, I wouldn't have felt right if I got the Genevieve and Sam questions.
I don't either. I don't either.
Okay.
All right.
I know one patron who will like that question,
and he was name dropped in the question.
Baby Andy is going to like that one.
He might think it's too easy too.
Definitely too easy for him, for sure.
Too easy for him.
Okay, Josh, what else do I tell people to check out?
Um, hmm.
Nothing, really.
Just watch this video and like it up.
Let's keep it up.
Come on, let's go.
Okay, and that's it.
All right.
Jordan,
what else for you as we head into the offseason?
When we come back,
it'll be season 50.
Can you believe it?
Season 50 Twitch.
I feel like we got to do a little special flare.
Maybe get some,
some questions about...
Well, it's not season 50 of Twish.
Well, season 50 of Survivor,
but like it will be talking about Survivor history
during a historic survivor season.
So I think there's some ways...
Waiting guest hosts.
No, I think that could be...
I think that could be good.
I think that getting,
I mean, that would be exciting.
Josh, if it was, if it was Twitch hosted by different alumni?
Plus me.
What?
Of course, of course, dude.
Guest, guest co-hosts, yeah, for sure.
And then we could, yeah, I think we could, we could ask questions about the players
that are on the season.
I think that we could, we could do.
How's that going to work?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I mean, it would be the answer would be obvious, right?
It would just be, I think it would have to be about, it would have to relate to the person
on the season.
We can wait for Danu to come on.
ask questions about Stephanie LaGrosa.
Oh, that'd be exciting.
That'd be great.
All right.
Another fun season of Twitch in the books.
Thank you all so much for listening.
Take care, everybody.
Have a good one.
Bye.
