Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Sestranito back for our Survivor exit interview.
And today, this was not one that I was expecting or ready for.
We're going to be talking with our own Asia Welch, who ended up getting voted out last night. Things
went sideways for her in the Lavo tribe. I thought she was in a very good spot coming into this week's episode and really just still shocked about Asia going
out of the game. So she'll be here with us to talk about her experience in just a moment.
Last night, I had the chance to talk with Tevin Davis from Starboard46. I really thought that
was a great podcast last night. If you missed that episode, Tevin was incredible to get
the chance to talk to him about everything that went on in. I think it was a really, really fun
episode of the podcast. So check that one out. And then if you want to see the video of this,
you can see it on our YouTube channel as well. Plus, we've got Jordan Kalish with a little This
Week in Survivor History coming up after the exit interview.
Plus, stay tuned for Survivor Know-It-All.
Steven and I will get together at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
Make sure you're subscribed at WeKnowSurvivor.com.
I see that we have Asia on the line.
Let's go ahead and bring her in.
Hey, Asia.
Good morning.
Rob Sesternino from RJP.
How are you?
You know, Rob, I'm doing as best as I can be. Yeah. The night after a night I have not been looking forward to for the past four to five months. So yeah,
I was not even looking forward to it, thinking about it at this point in time. So, you know,
a big blind side for us. but, uh, just want to first
off send you a ton of love, uh, after, uh, all this. And, uh, you just want to say, uh, really
proud of the game that you were playing out there. Uh, would love to talk a little bit about it with
you. Thank you. I, you know, I felt like I had so much more game left to play, Rob. I just felt like I was in a situation where I walked into the game thinking,
okay, I know that I'm on a tribe of six.
I am willing to work with the other five.
And then it's just like each person,
there were a story for each person
that made that difficult
and like had to lock me in
to the four that I was trying to be loyal to.
I was trying to be as loyal as possible to Saul, Teenie, and Keyshawn. And I was trying to reassure them as much as
possible. I was trying to make them so sure that there was no option that I would ever work with
Rome. And through that, I couldn't work with Genevieve because Genevieve and Rome were so
locked in that like Rome is such a loud person. The only time I ever heard him whisper was when
he was off talking to Genevieve.
So I just knew that that was impossible.
And so I was just like, look, this is a four I have to work with.
And it's like, if that's the four I can't work with,
unless an advantage falls out of the sky, it's not happening.
Had you been getting signals prior to losing the immunity challenge
that Tini and Kashawn were more likely to go with the
Rome and Genevieve pair before you had lost the challenge?
So I had gotten, so it was one of those things where when the four of us locked in together
day two, where it's like, we really like this four.
This is the four that we want to work with.
day two, where it's like, we really like this for this is the four that we want to work with.
I think it was it started to I started to notice these things like, OK, I feel good with teeny.
I feel good with Saul. Saul, I felt the closest to like that was my safety blanket. That was the person I could talk to about everything back home that I was like. That was my get away from the
game. Me and Saul could just go on the beach and just talk about life.
And then we're like, okay, now let's compare everything we've been told.
So we told each other everything that was going on, always compared notes.
And so I knew that me and Saul were so locked in.
And so it became very apparent that Keyshawn and Teenie were so locked in.
So then, okay, we have three duos now.
So it's like, I know that
Keyshawn and Tini, even though they're telling me we're good, it's just like, okay, but you also
have this other option. But the fact that we openly talked about it, we said like, y'all should
make Rome and Genevieve feel like you're with those four. It's just that that was their real
thing. Whereas me and Saul were their fake thing, apparently.
And so it's just like, I was getting signs in that, like, I would see Teenie and Genevieve
talking a lot. And I'm like, okay. And Teenie's just like, yeah, like I have, I feel like I haven't
talked a lot with Genevieve. So I'm just going to spend some more time getting to know Genevieve.
And so I feel like it was a situation where I was being, I was, I don't know if I was
being forced, but I felt like I was overestimating my relationship with Teenie because even the night
that Rome woke Teenie up to tell Teenie about the idol, he woke me up. Rome's volume is at 11
always, right? And so I'm just like, he's Teenie, Teenie, Teenie, wake up. And so I wake up because I slept in between Keyshawn and Teenie.
And so I see them walk away and I'm just like, OK, I'll ask Teenie in the morning like what they talked about.
And so Teenie told me it was something else.
And so I think it was a situation where like, OK, then I think back, like, should I have gotten up and like snuck snuck and hid and, like, built a bunker and tried to listen?
But then I'm like, that wasn't the game I was trying to play because I wanted Teenie and Keyshawn to feel like I fully trusted them, which I was trying to do.
And I was trying to reinforce that with them.
But it still felt like I knew when we lost, I'm like, it could go either way.
It's their choice at this point, which I hated because I was just like, this feels so out of my hands.
Like in that situation with three duos, why not the outer duos go for the middle duo? But anytime
I had a conversation with Rome or Genevieve about how they felt about everyone else, Rome would say,
oh, I feel so good about Tini and Keyshawn. Like if we went to tribal between Saul and Genevieve
for me, I'm like, yeah, right. Like you're lying to Saul and Genevieve for me, like, yeah, right.
Like you're lying to me. Genevieve's not even on the table for you. And then knowing Genevieve was
so locked in with Rome, but then didn't, but felt so good about Keyshawn and Tini, I was like, okay,
it's me or Saul. And so, yeah, it just made it really difficult. Cause I'm just like, it's real,
it's literally them choosing who they want to be loyal to. So you had the chance to talk with Tini and Kishan about what they ultimately wanted to do.
And they wanted you to vote for Saul.
You were trying to persuade them to vote for Genevieve.
From your discussion with them, did they give you a sense of why they felt better going with maybe like a little bit more of an erratic pair in Rome and Genevieve, as opposed to maybe
a more stable pair in you and Saul? That was so difficult about that because
they had talked for a long time. Like when they were in the shelter talking before tribal,
I'm just like, oh my gosh, what are they talking about? I know, like literally me and Rome were sitting away from, away from them, closer to the beach. And we're
like, well, they're just deciding which, which duo they want to go with. Like, we know that's
what's happening. And so when they finally like, Asia, come here. So I go over and they're like,
Rome told me, told us he has an idol. He only has one tribal to use it. And so they pitched Saul.
And for me, I don't have an incentive to vote Saul here.
Like, I was like, okay.
I was like, I don't want it to be me.
So I'm not opposed, but let's consider our options.
If the fear here is that he uses on Genevieve,
why not let's just make him use it on himself?
Rome is a very selfish player.
So all we have to do is make sure he uses it on himself.
And so what we also didn't see was
that they validated me right before we went to tribal. They said, hey, we're down voting 3-1
Genevieve. So in my mind, it's not me or Saul. In my mind, it's me or Genevieve because they said,
look, we're fine with it. We're fine splitting the votes 3-1 on Rome. And so I was like, okay,
like we're, y'all are sure you're comfortable with that. They're like, And so I was like, okay, like, y'all are sure you're comfortable with that.
They're like, yeah.
I was like, okay, anything I'm saying moving forward, I'm trying to make sure Rome uses the idol on himself.
I told Genevieve right before tribal, hey, just so you know, me and Saul picked up another vote.
I don't want to expose them.
But us three are going to vote Rome.
I just didn't want you to be left out.
So she goes to tell Rome, hey, use the idol on yourself to protect yourself.
And so that's why at Tribal, I did that last statement.
Hey, whoever's going to vote with me.
That was my last ditch effort to make Keyshawn and Teenie know that I'm trying to make Rome use the idol on himself in the event that they were going to side with me.
Yeah.
All right.
Asia, there's Rome.
Bless his heart.
Asia, there's Rome.
Bless his heart.
We've seen a lot of Rome these last couple of weeks.
Do you feel like, is the
edit accurately
depicting what it was like to
live with Rome, or was it
better or worse than what we're seeing?
I feel like
the edit is accurately depicting what it's like to live
with Rome, but it was, it was worse. I think it got to the point, like, I feel like people
were able to capture like the slight love, like, oh, it must be annoying. Yeah. The essence,
the lore, if you will. But no, it was worse.
It was to the point where I would hear him talking on the beach.
And I'm just like, I can't.
I can't.
I'm going to go anywhere else because the man was constantly trying to just impress
other people.
He was just constantly talking about himself.
Any conversation I had with him was like an interview.
He was not interested in getting to know me whatsoever. And now to see how like passionate he was in his confessionals, I'm
like, what was it? What was your issue? Because I went on the day one camp supplies thing. That's
that's not it. So that was just like, OK, whatever you have against me, that's on you. It takes Rob, it takes so much for me to express annoyance with people.
Yeah. I would always characterize you as no drama.
The patience of a saint, uh,
for you to have any annoyance with a person is a lot.
That shows you how, I mean, and I want to,
you want to say, oh, it's because of the elements, right? We're hungry. You know, your body adjusts.
You've been out there. There's a certain point, your body just knows you're not going to be fed,
right? And so you just, you learn how to deal with the hunger. But I'm like, I'm not being unnecessarily irritable with Keyshawn or Teenie or Saul or even Genevieve. I'm like this. It just when he went on his journey,
that was the best time at camp. We got so much done. We built a swing. We built a bench. We were
just having the time of our lives without anybody forced to try and tell us what to do. It's just
that Rome wanted to be that provider role, but he was not a provider. So it was just like, when he
said, jump, go make the, like, can y'all make the fire? And we don't jump out of the water and sprint
up the beach to go make the fire. Then he's pissed. So it's just like, how do you live with someone
like that? Yeah. I think it was such a tough question and I don't know the answer to it. How do you stop somebody like Rome from
going on the journey? The boat comes, nobody, I presume maybe Genevieve, I presume that nobody
wants him to go on the journey. Somehow he's the person getting in the boat. How do you stop that?
You know, I tried because not physically, but not like with TK. Right, imagine.
First immunity challenge,
when we had won by a long shot,
we said, look, if Jess says,
if somebody has to go on a journey,
let's decide now.
And so Rome and Saul played rock, paper, scissors.
Saul won.
We said, okay, Saul, you'll be the one to go.
And so then when it didn't happen,
we're like, okay.
So then the boat comes and then Rome's like great let's decide who wants to go we're like oh I was
like didn't we decide Saul's going already he's like no this is a new day no we have to we this
is a new day this is a new journey it's like okay whatever and so the five of them because we're
like oh let's all do like rock paper scissors, scissors or something or whatever. And I had already gone
on the day one thing
and I was like,
people are already,
I knew at that point Genevieve
and maybe Rome
has expected I had something.
So I was like,
I'm not trying to think
y'all think I have two things.
And so those five
did like a rock, paper, scissors tournament
and that's,
or I'm a person out
or something.
They decided with the five
and so the last step
was Saul and Rome
and then Rome went. Asia, could you tell us who is genevieve
she was so she was so she was the sixth person on our tribe um yes uh you know it's it's it's
so wild because i think so to like on at camp,
it was very visible duos. Like she was so close with Rome. I mean,
there were multiple nights I woke up and those two were talking and I'm just
like, okay, they are like, they are locked in. There's no, for me,
there was no breaking that up. And it was like, anytime I, I,
I did have conversations with Genevieve, Genevieve, she was out there.
She was at the camp, you know? So you know, so that y'all are aware.
And she saw and roamed with buttheads.
And she was just like, it sucks that our guys can't get along.
And so just like it felt like it was not going to be an option to even work with her.
Come like, OK, I can't work with Rome.
Maybe I can work with Genevieve.
But because she was so locked in with Rome,
and, you know, I'm not sure if that's something
that I could have made up for by being there day one, hour one.
But it just felt like that was inevitable
because I don't think they were as close
until the whole, like, idol-finding fiasco
with Teenie and Keyshawn.
So it just felt like, okay, well,
they're close. That's impossible. I have to go all in on these four, but she was the sixth person
on the track. Yeah. Asia, did going on the journey the first day, do you feel like that,
that ultimately hurt you or you feel like that you had regained all of the relationships after
you came back?
You know, it's hard to say.
I don't regret going on the journey because no one wanted to go.
Literally, Jeff goes, pick someone.
We turn around.
No one wants to go.
Jeff's like, who's going?
I was like, oh, we don't have anybody.
He said, you have to pick somebody.
So we turn back around and it's just like,
Saul wants to go if it's just physical.
Keyshawn doesn't mind going, but it's just like,
well, I need you a little bit more confident than like,
oh, you know, like if, you know.
And so then I was just like, look,
if it's physical or mental, I have prepared myself for either one.
I'll just go.
I'll take one for the team.
And before I left the mat,
Teenie said, I can't wait to talk to you at back at camp.
And I said, oh, that's lovely.
And then Saul grabbed my arm.
He said, Asians for Asia.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I was like, okay, I feel good with at least two people.
And so then I just built on those relationships when I got back to camp.
And I knew like, okay, I started to get to know Keyshawn.
And then it was just like very surface level with me and Genevieve.
And then Rome was just uninteresting. Okay. Asia, I know you got to run to some more interviews. I
just want to comment on at tribal council, you talked about walking, you're walking the dogs,
you see the people. I'm sure Pepper and Cinnamon were thrilled to get a literal shout out to the dogs back at the crib.
Shout out to my dogs at the crib. I just was like, oh, I love those two. There was a morning I woke up crying and I was just thinking about and I was like, why am I crying? And I was literally
crying because I couldn't I miss them. Like every morning I wake up, Pepper runs up to me and she's
just like so excited and she's like, good morning. And so being out there, like depleted and deprived of everything,
I was like, where are my Pepper cuddles? You know? So yeah, I did enjoy shouting out my dogs
at the crib. I'm glad that made it. Asia, where could people keep up with you?
Yeah. So Asia, like Asia, A-Y-S-H-A, like A-S-I-A. Of course, you know, talking about a little love is blind is dropped.
OK, so and I also want to point out I did not beyond popular belief.
I did not talk about being a podcaster for Rob has a podcast at any point during my casting process.
It was known, but that's not something that I was branding myself as through the casting process.
I went through as myself, you know, not that it's a costume, but I just want to put it out there that I love podcasting for Rob has a podcast.
It's so enjoyable.
You are the best podcaster in the game in this space.
If we are not talking about on fire with Jeff Probst.
Okay.
Okay.
You got it.
Okay.
Yeah.
With the exception.
But thank you, Rob.
And I just wanted to make that clear.
Duly noted.
Asia, great job.
Sorry that it didn't work out.
You get unlucky sometimes and there's nothing you can do about that.
But great to watch your journey through this whole process.
And I'll talk to you soon. Okay.
Bye, Rob. All right. Thank you. All right. Take care, Asia. Bye.
All right, everybody. There you have it. Asia Welch here on the podcast.
Great job by Asia on the exit interview. Very disappointed to see it go sideways for her,
but I am thrilled that she ultimately got the chance to go out there and have this
experience. She's going to be fine. And I know it stings, but Asia, this is going to be just a
footnote in all the amazing things that she goes on to accomplish. And she's such an incredible
person. And I'm really just thrilled to have her in our world here.
No matter how Survivor ends up going, there's so much luck in this game.
And ultimately, it comes down to like a million things, a couple of them you can control.
And sometimes it just doesn't go your way.
But looking forward to much more with Asia here in the future. All right.
We've got this week in Survivor history. While this actual week in Survivor history might be
one we want to forget, it turns out that we will go back in time to revisit trivia around all of
the episode threes in Survivor history when we come back with Jordan Kalish right after this.
So it's a new year.
You know what that means, setting big goals.
Maybe you promised yourself
you're gonna hit the gym every day,
or maybe you said you're gonna learn
to make fire with a flint for once,
or the classic, save more money.
But let's be honest,
New Year's resolutions tend to fizzle out by February.
Wouldn't it be great if at least one of those goals
could be automatic?
That's where Acorns comes in. Today's episode is sponsored by Acorns. You probably heard me

We're back for some This Week in Survivor history.
Of course, we are back here with the Twitch master.
Here he is, Jordan Kalish.
Jordan, how are you?
I am doing great, Rob.
I got to say, I am coming off one of the most fun weekends I've ever had in my life.
Oh, really?
I got to host a game of Survivor. As the longtime
listeners know, I like to do these LRGs, these live reality games. And for the first time,
I got to be the Probst and I got to go to a park in Brooklyn in the pouring rain. And I got to
live out my life dream of channeling Jeff Probst for about 15 hours. There's no rain date on the
LRG. They're going to do it in the rain. It's survivor.
Rob,
we,
we go rain,
rain or shine.
We,
we,
we do.
We had to change some things with the challenges.
We made it safe.
Do you get an umbrella?
Uh,
I,
I could have,
but I've never seen Jeff on survivor with an umbrella.
I did wear a raincoat at one point.
Did you catch a cold?
No,
I feel fine.
Okay.
Wow.
Live in LRG,
Jordan K.
Okay.
Well,
congratulations. Shout out survivor, Brooklyn South. We in LRG, Jordan Kalish. Okay. Well, congratulations.
Shout out Survivor Brooklyn South.
We had a bunch of listeners playing the game, actually, who I didn't even know.
They told me during the game, oh, hey, listen to Twitch, listen to everything going on with the R-Hab.
Okay.
No spoilers.
I won't.
I mean, it's all aired already in live stream.
So if you go in the Survivor Brooklyn South Facebook group, you could see how it went.
All right. already in live stream so okay you go in the survivor Brooklyn South Facebook group you could see how it went all right well here with us today I've been taking on the patrons all season long I'm 2-0 baby let's welcome in another patron who made an application to be here Danielle Dobie
Danielle how are you I'm good Rob I hope I can bring home a win for the patrons today.
I hope so, too.
It would be nice if they could get at least one this season.
And maybe today, Danielle, it's going to be you.
I hope so.
That's the goal.
We'll see.
Okay, Danielle, what's your Twish history?
Well, I've been watching for probably nine years.
Nine years.
Wow.
So yeah. And you've stayed with us.
You've stayed with us.
Even, yeah.
Even during the poorly worded questions.
Yes.
And do you listen to Twish every week on the exit interview?
Do you turn it off after the survivor is done?
No, I watch it every week.
Wow.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's what I like to hear.
Are you, are you one of the, there's also the group of listeners who they skip the exit interview and they just they just do twitch are you are
you that no i i like to do things in order that's what i do too i'm a rhap completist i listen to
everything okay all right i wish that was true it is true well you think i don't i mean i listen
everything survivor no okay all right that's That is a big, I am listening.
Well, that's a lot of podcasts.
Yeah, okay.
Yeah, what happened on News AF last week, Jordan?
I'm sure that Tyson and Danny Bryson did a fantastic job,
and I'm sure you did too.
Yeah, okay.
I'm sure you went over plenty of great stories about,
did you talk about Mudang?
I feel like Mudang's got to have come up on News AF.
You know what?
It would have been good if we got back into it. Okay. All right. Jordan, why don't you tell us what categories do we have for today? All right.
The seasons that we are covering, and these are all from episode threes of survivor. We have Borneo,
Thailand, ghost Island, winners at war 43 and 45. So Danielle, as the guest, you want me to repeat?
Yeah, a little slower.
Sure.
We have Borneo, Thailand, Ghost Island.
This is Ghost.
Winners at War, 43 and 45.
And Danielle, as the guest, you get to choose the category first.
Big gap from Thailand to Ghost Island.
Yes.
the category first gap from thailand to ghost island yes we uh last year not last year last last week we focused a lot on the very old era plus two plus two new era questions and then there
was a gap between the old era and the new era this time there's not so much of a gap between
some of our questions and the new era so yes there is a big gap okay i know rob likes to take the new
era seasons so i'll take one so he can't have both.
What?
Strategy. Good strategy.
I'll go with 45.
45, the most recent season on our list.
After coming in first place in the reward challenge, who raided the Reba camp, obtaining fishing gear for their tribe?
Cody, because they were worried he was going to say a bunch of crazy stuff.
That is incorrect. Oh no, this is embarrassing. So, uh, yeah.
Rob, you get to answer the question here. You don't get the multiple choice,
but this is for one point. Yeah. Um, I believe it was Caleb. Caleb is correct. Oh my God, I was in the wrong season.
Danielle, you were unfortunately on 43. I was in there.
Danielle, I was ready to yell at Jordan.
I'm like, Jordan, she said 45, not 43.
Don't give her a 43.
Don't give her a four.
Why did you ask her a 43 question?
We do have a 43 question, but this was the 45 question.
Caleb did get to steal the fishing gear from Reba.
So Rob starts off with a one point and Rob, you get to choose the next category.
Okay. Um, Hmm.
How about, uh, I'm going to go with, uh, give me 43.
Okay. 43. Uh, when future rivals, and owen protected their votes at the summit who from vesey did they allow to receive the steal a vote
uh i believe it was noel noel is correct so rob you get two more points there you have a three zero lead and
danielle cody would have been one of the multiples choice options for for for that question um so
you at least did predict that uh cody was going to be at least part of this quiz part of it yeah
so but okay so danielle you're the the early game nerves i hope you've overcome them at this point i
think i think you're gonna have a strong showing the rest of this game uh we have uh now old seasons. Some of them are old. Some of them are not that old. Borneo,
Thailand, Ghost, and Winners at War. Okay. Winners at War. I'll try to remember what season I'm on.
Winners at War. Okay. Anyone remember that song? On the edge of extinction,
Natalie Anderson found a steal a vote advantage and sold it to which player for a fire token?
Anderson found a steal a vote advantage and sold it to which player for a fire token?
Okay. Sarah. Sarah Lucina. Survivor winner. Fourth place on winners at war is correct. Very good job.
Yes. Sarah did get the steal a vote. She would eventually use it on Denise at the second Tyson boot where she got to vote for Tyson and Denise. So, Danielle, you're on the board. It is three to two. Anybody's game. And Rob, you get to choose the next category.
Okay. Call me crazy. I'm going to go to Borneo going all the way back 24 years ago, more than 24 years ago.
According to Stacey Stillman,
more of her fellow Tagi members were going to vote for Rudy
until production swayed the votes to her.
Which other player, shots fired,
which other player actually did end up voting along with her against Rudy?
Hmm.
I believe it was Dirk.
Dirk is incorrect.
So, Danielle, you get to steal a point here.
Kelly?
If you get it right.
Kelly Wigglesworth is correct.
Kelly was the person who did vote against Rudy and not for Stacey Stillman.
So, Danielle, you get the point.
We're tied.
And, Danielle, you're now in a good position here.
You get to choose the next category.
We have Thailand and we have Ghost Island.
Okay, let's try Ghost Island.
All right, Ghost Island.
In this episode, who became the only player of the season
to decline the offer to play the game of chance at Ghost Island?
Kellen. kellen went with
her gut and she was correct you get two points the pressure now is on rob because rob needs to
get this without the multiple choice we are going to survivor thailand very memorable season for all
the wrong reasons uh who was the and and more reasons yeah so, so this is Survivor Thailand.
Who is the only male member of the Sukjai tribe
not to get ejected from the infamous Attack Zone Challenge?
You need this without multiple choice to win the game.
If not, Danielle will be the first patron to take the crown.
I got to think that there was one classy guy on Sukjai,
and I feel like...
that there was one classy guy on Suk Chai.
And I feel like that would have to be Jake.
Jake Billingsley,
known by Clay as Jake the Snake.
But Rob says he's a classy guy.
And I guess in this challenge, he was.
Jake is correct.
We are going to go to a tiebreaker.
We are tied five to five.
Very nice job on all
of those questions. And for the tiebreaker, would you believe it, Rob? I actually have
something prepared here. Wow. I am not, uh, I'm, I'm blown away. Yeah. It's a, it's a game we've
done before. We've, we've mainly done this as the tiebreaker for, uh, for tuition in, in, uh,
the last, at least the last season when we had the survivors on, I am going to, uh, I have a
randomizer and you have to tell me based on the season that comes up who the third boot was on that season so
danielle will start if she's right rob will have to match if she's wrong and rob gets his right
with a different season he will win the games and we'll continue until we have a winner so i am going
to my randomizer uh number randomizer here we go all right for me so this is not easy i'm
gonna go sorry i said these are third boots or the person who gets voted out in the third episode
we're gonna say third boots because i think that is some some of these episodes are wonky with like
double boot premiere so i think the third boot is the way to go. And we are starting here with season 10.
So Palau, Danielle.
Okay.
And I'm going to say this because it's Palau.
I'm not counting Wanda and Jonathan.
Okay.
So it's the third boot from Tribal Council.
So Jolanda was first.
I can talk it out because he can't.
Yeah, he can't steal this one.
Yeah, he's not going to get the same season.
So I hope this was the episode Jeff got hurt and then went home.
Jeff Wilson.
Jeff Wilson is correct.
Very great.
Great poll there.
You don't hear a lot about Jeff Wilson.
They call him.
Good thing you didn't ask me the last name because I went up on that.
That's okay.
You just need the first name.
Yeah, so as Rob remembers,
he was very good
at smashing the coconuts
and I guess they wouldn't have
had that production
with any of the other people
on that tribe.
So Rob, you have to match.
If you get this wrong,
you lose the quiz.
We are going to season
33 Millennials versus Gen X.
Okay. Third boot of Millennials versus Gen X. So was Rachel and then it was Mari, and then was it
Paul Paul walked her I'll walk through you guys know your obscure third boots uh Rob you get the
point we are tied at six it goes back to Danielle who is going to deal with season 31 second chances.
Okay.
So this was right after the tribe swap.
Okay.
It's a PG.
I think it was PG.
PG law.
Laying down the law, Danielle.
You get another...
Wow.
It is 7-6.
Rob, the pressure is on.
Danielle, clearly, you know your stuff here.
Rob, we are going to season 25.
That is Philippines.
Okay, Philippines.
Third boot from Philippines.
Okay, so first it was zane then it was
um luckily i don't have to remember the name of the second boot roxy i believe uh and then i
believe it was angie is third boot angie layton uh that we're missing cookies and uh rob is not
missing the answer though so it is tied seven to seven.
We are going back to Danielle.
This is one of the longest tiebreakers I think we've had.
We're going to 21 survivor Nicaragua.
Oh, oh, okay.
Jimmy Johnson.
Okay.
Hopefully, hopefully.
Okay.
Hold on.
Let me think.
No, before you say final answer, you can, you can think.
Okay.
I'm pretty sure she was the third boot.
I don't know why that stands out so much to me but okay jimmy johnson coach jimmy johnson is correct uh you get the point we are up
eight to seven uh rob you get to now try to match we're gonna go to season 13 cook islands one uh boy uh this is gonna be tough okay yeah so it's not easy seiku is one
uh and then billy garcia uh second boots that would be pretty i'm gonna say is it
cecilia cecilia mancia is a player on that season
and she was the third boot so Rob
we've gotten like the most obscure possible ones
and you're knocking them out of the park I don't know how this game
is going to end but
Danielle we're going to go to you here
and we are going to
Survivor 28 Kageyan
okay Bryce
Isaiah Bryce Isaiah I don't even need to double check this. Bryce Isaiah.
Bryce Isaiah.
I don't even need to double check this one.
Bryce Isaiah is correct.
You get the point.
Maybe the least obscure, at least in RHAP world, least obscure third boot in Survivor history.
So Bryce is correct.
Rob, we go back to you.
Okay.
And we're going to go to 14 survivor Fiji.
Oh,
he's got the heart.
I know. I know.
Uh,
with the Jessica,
the Ben,
uh,
and then Erica,
and then the third boot of survivor Fiji.
I really am struggling.
Was it Sylvia?
Sylvia is the correct answer.
Rob Sesternino.
It is tied.
I don't know.
Hanging on by a thread.
Yeah, I'm teaching the class in like 20 minutes.
I hope I make it.
Danielle, we are going to season 38,
Survivor Edge of Extinction.
Okay.
Pretty sure this is when our winner went home, Chris Underwood.
Yes, Chris Underwood.
Yes, he won the game but yes he is
the third boot so danielle you get the point uh let me i gotta start a new column in my uh in my
uh adding here so uh you know if we have to for time we could cut the verbal rebus
cut the verbal okay so i we can do you want me i can do that if you want me to
and i actually have a good reason to cut it this week because it was Jimmy Johnson.
So we will cut the verbal rebus this week.
Okay.
We've already mentioned him.
Jimmy Johnson, congratulations.
I did have some fun clues for that, but okay.
I mean, you could have still done it.
Yeah, well, you said you... Yeah.
Vanuatu.
Well, we could cut this part
and then do the verbal rebus
and pretend you don't know the answer.
Season nine, Vanuatu.
Okay, I'm going to say, was it Brady?
Brady Finta.
If you get this wrong, you have lost the game.
Rob, Brady Finta was the fifth boot.
It was John Paliak.
I know you have some stories about him.
Congratulations, Danielle.
My bad.
Even though I knew the first question, he came back.
He came back.
He made it home in the new era.
You did it,ielle okay yeah jimmy johnson will give words of encouragement to you okay so danielle you won the patron uh
this week in our history trivia you get to plug anything you want um i'm not on social media i
don't really have anything to plug. Okay. Well,
if you're not going to use the plugs,
then I'll just plug.
We know survivor.com.
Perfect.
Okay.
Make sure you subscribe.
Make sure you subscribe on all your devices too.
Every device.
Because it's free.
It doesn't cost you anything.
And then you get to buy the shirt that says you're a subscriber.
And then you're allowed to buy the shirt that says subscriber in the merch store.
Rob's website.com slash merch.
I think all patrons should watch International Survivor.
Because we have access to it and it's great to get in.
Oh, plugging International Survivor.
Yeah.
Shout out to Shannon.
Yes.
All right. Well, she'll appreciate that. Thank
you. And she does listen to Twitch every week. All right, Danielle, thank you so much. Jordan,
what's up coming up next for you? Uh, as, as always the viewing parties, another great one
last night in Manhattan. If you're in the New York city area, if you live there, or if you're
just visiting, we'd love to have you, uh, at Jordan Kalish on Twitter. And I know I already
plugged survivor Brooklyn South. I can't really, i can't overstate how much fun i had
it was really it was really great hosting judge sergeant from survivor guatemala came to the game
and hung out it's my profile picture now so if judge how'd you get him um so george you know
george uh my buddy george who who runs the game uh somehow knew his manager or knew someone who
knew his manager and we got yeah Yeah, so we got Judd.
And Judd's wife, Kristen.
Like his manager at the hotel that he's the doorman?
I think it's his talent manager.
I don't...
Hardest working man in the show business.
Hey, I mean, look.
Judd went right from a game
and did security at a football game.
So I think that he's getting Judd work. And we love Judd. There's from a game and did like security at a football game. So I think that, uh, he's, he's getting Judd work and we, and we love,
we love Judd. There's a reason I love Guatemala. And I, and I think it's,
it's, it starts, it starts with Judd. Funny, funniest guy to never play twice.
All right. There you go. So thank you so much, Jordan Kalish.
Thank you so much for listening. And of course, uh,
last week we introduced you to, uh, Eric's amazing new, uh, closing outro for RHAP. So
enjoy it and check out his music at itelectric.com. Take care, everybody. Have our champions do the test.
