Hey, Rob Cestronino here.
And in addition to tracking everything that's going on
on these reality TV shows,
I love tracking things about my personal fitness.
That's why I love the newest smartwatch from Amazfit.
It's got all the features I need to keep my day on track,
but without the sky-high price tag you usually see
with other smartwatches.
Let me tell you about the Amazfit Active 2 smartwatch.
The display is gorgeous.
It's a 1.32 inch AMOLED,
and I don't really know what that means,
but basically it means that you can read your notifications
even when you're outside in the middle of the day.
It's got incredible battery life.
No more scrambling for the charger.
Half the time you have a smartwatch,
the battery is on like 3%, you gotta take it off. I'm missing all of the steps that I'm taking, what's the point?
It's also got a great app called the Zep app which gives you in-depth health insights,
everything from sleep quality to steps and AI driven coaching to help you get the most
out of your workouts with 160 plus workout modes for whatever you're doing.

Hey everybody, what's going on?
Rob says Stradino, back for our Survivor Exit interview
after an epic Survivor episode 3 of Survivor
48 last night.
First off, if you are hearing the sound of my voice, that probably means that we have
restored the Survivor podcast feed.
I don't know what happened that everything melted down at tribal council And I guess it melted down some servers out on the internet because I woke up to so many messages on
Thursday morning. Where's the podcast? What happened? Where is the know-it-alls and
There was some tech issues that were beyond the realm of what I can control here from
that were beyond the realm of what I can control here from the studio.
And so hopefully that's all resolved
if you're hearing this podcast.
And so if you missed last night's Know It Alls,
of course you could watch it on YouTube,
which many people ended up doing.
But also hopefully that's all in your podcast feed.
Go to getrhap.com to make sure that you have it
or look it up, weknowsurvivor.com.
Then we've got a big day today.
Also, Asia Welch is going to stop by.
We're going to talk about all of this.
But first, the man of the hour.
We will be talking with Justin and he's on the line.
Let's go ahead and patch him in.
Hey, Justin, what's going on?
Rob says, you know, how are you doing today, Justin?
I've been better, Rob, but you know know it's not the end of the world. Hey look I feel you you were my winner pick Justin
I know I saw that very early on and I wish I had done better for you
I wish I've done better for everyone
I feel like I had a lot of like really good support behind me and just you know everything that could have gone wrong
Definitely went wrong.
Hey, let me know.
Did you like break a mirror, like walk underneath a ladder right before you went out to Fiji
or anything like that?
I'm trying to think in my head.
I'm like, there was definitely something like maybe a couple of black cats walk by the shop,
you know, late at night or something.
There was definitely an issue that that went on that I'm not aware of in terms of my luck
and my report.
All right, well, I'd love to sort of get your perspective
on how everything unfolded at that tribal council.
And it was so much for us to follow.
I'd love to just go through each part of it
and get your thought process on it.
So you go to that tribal council,
could you just take us through what you were expecting
to have happen that night?
So just to kind of give you some backstory, Rock, Cedric and I were very, very, very close.
And he and I, I actually helped him off the boat in the marooning.
And I think that just like small, simple gesture.
He looked at me in my eye, he goes, there's something about you that I trust and I will
always vote with you. I always want to work with you going forward. I'll never vote against
you. And in my head, I'm like, this is like almost too good to be true. But it just seems
like he's being totally honest with me. And I don't know if that was like a gut reaction
or a read. He was just the only one that I knew was being totally truthful with me. And
in my head, selfishly, I'm thinking, late in the game, here's somebody who's not
the most physical prowess on the team.
He's not the most physical person on the cast.
I highly doubt that anybody on a jury
is gonna hand a million dollars to a doctor
over a pizzeria manager.
So I'm like, this is a great kind of working relationship.
And who would think the pizza guy from the north is gonna team up with the surgeon from the south it's just like
the most unlikely duo that I think would only come together on survivor but he
and I think a lot alike and I think it's the sense that like we're not big into
variables we like consistency we want to try and eliminate as many question marks
as we possibly can and that's true in like my field, it's very true in his field.
And I think that's how we kind of like coalesce all our ideas.
In terms of like setting up the vote, I just think that so much could have gone wrong.
And it all did go wrong.
And it was like a two or 3% chance of it all going wrong and it did
And I'm saying to myself like we already have this great working relationship
I pulled him in on the Kevin vote to kind of earn that trust
I
Didn't tell him that Kevin was just physically so hurt
I'm thinking to myself like if we vote Mary tonight and Kevin gets pulled, not, not by him leaving
the game voluntarily or quitting, we thought there would be some medical intervention because
he was a ton of pain. And I give him credit for even staying out there, Rob. Like he could
have quit the first 30 seconds of the show. I don't think anybody would have followed
him.
Well, just, we only have so much time today. So I want to get to everything. So that you
go into the tribal council, you felt like, okay, so that they told you we're voting out Mary tonight, right?
Exactly. And that was sorry, go ahead.
And then Mary, ultimately she gets up and plays the shot in the dark. I would have to
think that that was probably expected, right? Because we didn't get your take on if you
thought she had an idol.
I was pretty confident she did not have an idol. And she was, they didn't show a lot of conversations that she and I had, but she was very upfront
with me and I think we could have had a working relationship had I stuck around a little bit
longer.
But I did like Mary, I respected her as a game player and I knew that she didn't have
an idol, but we all knew that the shot in the dark was coming.
All right.
Well, shot in the dark hits now.
Okay.
Now, can you tell us like, what is your panic level at the point that Mary's shot in the dark hits now. Okay. Now can you tell us like, what is your panic level at
the point that Mary's shot in the dark hits?
I'm panicking in the sense that if I have my vote, we all kind of know, you know, I
was confident in my relationship with Cedric and our biggest thing Rob was this is going
to sink. The Vula ship will sink. It's not a matter of if it's more when. So we can either
go down with said ship or we can kind
of hold on to each other here and hit the lifeboat and we'll get off this beach. But part of that is
positioning ourselves and that was kind of like the moves that we're making with the step boat,
with the Kevin boat, and then with last night's vote. It was always to have at least two people
ahead of both of us who would go before us and that put us in the ultimate swing position. When
we voted Kevin out, Mary is left without an ally. We also eliminate that risk of Kevin getting pulled
and going from five people to three, leaving the person in the middle with an idol who we were
trying to flush. We didn't think she would play it. We're still amazed that she did play it.
I'm just thinking like on the heels of 46 and everyone going home with an advantage, that's
kind of like maybe what spawn her to do it.
But we'll leave Say and Mary in the game who will never work with each other. And Cedric and I are just like, listen, like, who do you want to go forward with? I don't care either way. I like them
both. I think we can work with both. But it would definitely keep both of us in the game. And that's
what I really care about. So now you don't have a vote. What are you expecting to have happen? Are
you, you're, you're confident Cedric you expecting to have happen? Are you, your,
your confidence Cedric is going to go right down, say, when he gets up to vote?
Yes, definitely. And I think we see that in the tribal council. And I think that was just kind of,
kind of like my social game. I knew Say was kind of like wary of me and the, and the journey coming
back. And we see that conversation she has with Cedric
before we vote, but I was confident in Cedric.
I was confident in Cedric the entire time.
He gave me no reason out there at all
to be wary of him or his decision making.
So then it comes down to Cedric has the decision
and it seems like it's going your way,
but then Say is able to bring up the point
that you didn't tell Cedric that you had lost your vote.
Did you have a counter argument to that that we didn't see in the episode?
Oh definitely. And Rob, what isn't shown in the editors, they had a tough time with this for sure.
And we kept Jeff up way past his bedtime. I'm almost positive.
This was, what we heard was the longest tribal council ever in the history of Survivor.
And you know you're in for a long one when there's a commercial break halfway through tribal council
so so much was left out so much of my argument wasn't said and
I think it's unfortunate in the sense that it didn't add to the story because
Cedric was so willing to keep me for so long
He wrote down say his name twice and then also said I'm still gonna keep Justin because because I made a pact with him. That's the person I want to go forward with in this game. That
wasn't shown. A lot of stuff wasn't shown and you know there were some powerful conversations
that took place and ultimately I'm like Cedric like this is do what's best for you. You're
in a tough spot too and you know I hope it doesn't look like I quit. I would never ever
quit this show. It's been a long time coming. I was supposed to be on last year and some things
happened where I got pushed to 48, but I knew that in the moment there was a lot going on.
Yeah. Justin, I will say that I feel like that people will have the perception that
you didn't fight for it enough at tribal council.
And I'll go out there, I'll go on podcasts and I'll say you did fight for it, but you
fight for it right now.
You tell me why I should go out and tell people Justin, he fought for it.
You just didn't see it.
I just think that there was a lot that wasn't shown Rob and it's just part of the edit.
And I think you get it.
I think people in the universe of Survivor get it.
It's just very powerful things in motion that couldn't be shown and just, I think it was best for me to leave it in the hands of Cedric to make that ultimate choice going forward.
Yeah. Okay. Now you told Cedric, hey, you come to Luigi's anytime. And he said, the next time I'll
see you, I'll be at Luigi's, but you're going home. Did he come into Luigi's anytime. And he said, the next time I'll see you, I'll be at Luigi's, but you're going home.
Did he come into Luigi's yet?
I haven't seen him yet, Rob,
but he's still on the island somewhere.
So he also doesn't eat cheese.
He's a vegan.
So I'm like, what can I make for him?
Like a tomato pie or maybe just like, you know,
some Winguinian red sauce.
Yeah. Okay.
Talk to me about this journey that you went on
because there's a lot of fans who say that like,
hey, I didn't like that that Justin lost his vote didn't even have a chance to not play this game and it was a game of random chance.
Definitely. And believe me, it's a tough question and it's something that I've seen a lot of both last night and this morning.
The only thing that I can say is this isn't Survivor 41,
this isn't Survivor 42.
This is well ingrained at this point into the new era.
And we know that journeys are a part of the new era.
It's very likely that you are forced to risk your vote.
Sometimes you don't have a choice as in last night,
but I knew that going into this,
I knew the rules of the game,
I still chose to play the game
and I dealt with the consequences. I think if you're a good enough player you can kind of navigate
those waters and anything that's thrown at you. And I think for the most part if you tell somebody
you lose your vote, especially in the new era Rob, the track record isn't great. You kind of tend to
go out that night. And I'm like I don't need to take this risk because I know that Mary's probably gonna go home tonight if something happens say is gonna go home
tonight and that was still the plan going forward why burn this bridge over
a two or three percent chance there's no there's no point I'm not the biggest
risk taker I will take risk but this is like a calculated risk and there's just
something that would I think if I told him, would have hurt my game more
than not.
Justin, almost all the survivor players have something that they replay and they think
about like, I should have done that differently.
Do you have one of those things?
I don't know, Rob.
And I just see like so much like people say like the tribes are uneven and I don't want
to comment on that.
I don't think, I don't think that was the case.
I think we were strong.
I think we had a lot of good qualities.
I think losing Kevin early on just put us behind the eight ball and it just kind of
turned from like let's have tribe strength, let's go forward, let's work as a cohesive
unit into like let's just get out of this realm.
Let me get to a merge.
Let me get to a different beach.
Let me get to a swap and just have like a clean slate.
I think I got dealt a pretty rough hand.
I think I played the hell out of that hand.
I just think like those were the cards I was dealt and I did the best I can with maneuvering
myself in certain situations that were very, very difficult at times.
And there's just, I think I went the furthest that I could given the situation.
Let me ask you about a couple of the decisions in those first couple of tribal councils that
it seemed like that you had a choice in terms of maybe going with Stephanie and Mary on
the first vote and trying to blindside say there.
And then also going with the plan that Kevin had wanted to go with instead of ultimately voting out Kevin.
Either of those decisions do you look back at as maybe I wish I might have gone the other way?
Well, I love Steph to death and you know, I hope she hears this.
I know she will hear this, I should say.
But she was kind of planting seeds out there that like, you know, he's not really all he
seems.
There's something underlying about him.
You know, there's another.
She was playing, she was playing the seeds and I'm just like, I can tell just by looking
at her, she's very smart.
She's very aware socially.
She knows kind of like what's going on.
I mean, Rob, I look ridiculous.
I'm down there with my long hair with the frigging pizza shirt running around in my underwear. Like that's, it's an insane thing,
but I think it kind of lowers the threat level.
It takes away any strategy talks, you know,
that I might have with other people,
or the perception that like I went to a really good school.
She was quizzing me, I'm like,
oh how many seats is Luigi's?
I'm like, oh we have four high top,
four, or six, four tops, we have a huge bar,
you know, we have 40 seats, but it's really like 36 or 35,
if we pull a stool out.
I'm like, am I on trial here?
Do you not believe that this exists?
And she didn't believe it existed
until the end of this.
With the Kevin vote, I think he and I were close.
I really did wanna work with Kevin.
I really enjoyed working with Kevin.
I was just so afraid of that variable
if he gets taken from us
And it was in a sense like I said previously if he he would never quit no matter what I know too well
But if he got pulled out then we're really screwed and then it's like I definitely don't have any agency
You know say is gonna decide basically the fate of me or Cedric at that point
How about at the journey?
Did you have a chance to talk with the players from the other tribe at all before you went
off to go play the game?
Yes, I did.
I let them know, I knew I wasn't at the bottom of the tribe, but I knew I wasn't at the top
of my tribe.
That was kind of the positioning that I wanted to be.
I never wanted to have too much of a target on my back, and that's why I put Say in that
position.
I also didn't want to be like Mary, who's fighting for her life every tribal council.
I give her a lot of credit because it's a tough spot to be in.
But I let both Bianca and Camilla know like hey listen if there is a risk your vote or
like a savior vote like I'm definitely going to save it.
I'm at the bottom.
I'm going to play my shot in the dark tonight regardless of what happens.
So get something for yourself.
Help yourself in the game and then eventually down the line, build some rapport with both
of them. And then I can kind of choose your own adventure if I get to that point in the
game. Like I could go with Siva. I could go with Loggy. The war is coming. I mean, they've
had first round buys, which is crazy in Survivor, but it's like they're going to need soldiers
and like I'm ready to enlist. And you know, here is, you know, if there's a consensus
vote here is say, like, you know, I'm willing to sacrifice
say to work with you guys. And that was kind of like my plan.
Last thing, how many times did they need to explain what the tiebreak rules were to you
guys that night? Like, wait, what's happening?
They're showing like so many confused face for just from our tribe members because it
had never happened before.
And I did see like on Twitter, people are saying, this doesn't make sense.
Like, why does everybody look so confused?
And I just think it was something that never happened before.
There's no previous precedent to go back on or look at.
It's literally the first time in the history of this show that's been going on for 25 years
that this has happened. So it was just a lot. And then people are saying like, Oh, is said we're
going to like draw a lone rock? Like I would never expect that. You're not going to draw
a lone rock knowing you're going to vote yourself. I kind of thought he was going to maybe just
leave. I did not think so. No matter. And like I said, he was in a very, I'm out. I'm out.
I can't take it. It was in a very tough spot, but I would not expect that.
We're all there to play our own game, no matter what.
All right, well, Justin, thank you.
I know you got to run, you got a million things going on
between these interviews and everything at the restaurant,
but best of luck at Luigi's.
I know this is a tough situation to talk through,
but thank you for making some time to go over everything.
If you're moving to the library next month,
you let me know.
I'm working, but we know, we can coordinate something.
All right.
We'd love to see you in Boston.
We're going to have the whole, uh, everybody up there, uh, April, April 9th.
So I'll be on the lookout for that.
Thank you so much, Justin.
Take care of it.
All right, everybody.
They have it.
Justin Piope, the man of the hour and a lot to work through in last night's tribal council. And you know, I do
feel for Justin, you know, if he did, you know, fight for it more and ultimately it's
a long tribal council and they can't get to everything in the episode. I do feel for him.
So very sad to see my winner pick out of the game so soon. Anyway, we've still got another winner pick.
I don't know.
I don't know whose winner pick he is.
But Jordan Kalish is coming up to play this week in Survivor History.
We'll be back with him right after this.

Great to be back, Rob. It is has been a long week. I was getting dragged a little bit on social media from last episode from last episode due to due to mixing up some of the new era seasons. But we're back.
We have some new era trivia here, and I hope that I got the seasons right for this one.
OK, I've been taking on the patrons so far this season.
I am 2 and 0 so far on the new year.
And so we'll see if I can complete the task of a perfect season of TWISH.
And here to stop me today, one of our patrons,
it's Amy, Amy, how are you?
Hi Rob, I'm doing well.
Yes, Amy, welcome back to Talk with Jordan and I.
And so Amy, tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm a married mother of two little ones.
I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
and I've been a
patron since 2018, but I've been an RHAP fan since about 2013.
Wow, Amy, well, thank you for coming on the adventure of a lifetime here with us on RHAP.
Do you have a favorite moment from all of your years with RHAP?
Oh, gosh, there's so many.
years with RHJP? Oh gosh, there's so many. One of my first memories was finding out about RHJP through, I think I was just YouTube searching, came across some videos and then I heard you
say Rob has a website and so then I went kind of digging into the archives and when I saw
that you had a Back to the Future podcast and a Clue the Movie podcast.
Oh, with Eric Stein.
Yeah.
Yeah, that was with Fishback, Fishback to the Future.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Those are my two favorite movies.
I'm like, oh, this is something special.
I just got to look at this.
Okay.
Well, Amy, you have great taste in movies and we'll see how your taste in Survivor is.
We'll see.
Yeah.
I'm hoping.
Fingers crossed. Amy, you're wearing a buff.
What buff do you have? It's a oolong buff. Oh, that's not a good omen for you today,
Amy. I know a lot about Palau, so I'm trying to manifest that Palau will be one of the
categories. I don't know for sure, but it's- The lucky Oolong buff.
The good news is Oolong did win a couple of reward challenges.
And I will say that I think that Twitch is more of a reward challenge vibe than an immunity
challenge vibe.
I think that we take ourselves to jellyfish lake, just like the Oolongs every single week.
And we're back.
Unfortunately though, Amy Palau, not on this quiz.
Oh, okay.
If I had known, if I had known you were coming
over to the new long buff, I might have put one on.
Yeah, and Amy, it's actually appropriate
because I think after every time we record Twitch,
I say right after the recording, ooh, long.
Long.
Is there anything that we can do to cut that down?
Well, we can't cut out the verbal Rivas.
It's happening.
Everyone loves it, Rob.
It's the most popular segment on the most popular segment.
Yeah. OK.
All right.
Let's hear the six seasons we're going to talk about.
All right. We have Survivor Marquesis,
Survivor Vanuatu, Survivor Gabon, Game Changers,
41 and 47, and I have double and triple checks
that those are the seasons.
And these are all questions about episode threes
in Survivor history.
Okay.
That is correct.
Amy, as the guest, you get to choose first.
And as always, you can either opt to get the multiple choice.
That would only be worth one point.
Or if you answer without the multiple choice,
and you're right, you will get two points
for a correct answer.
Okay.
I'll try Gabon.
Okay, we're going to Gabon.
The first swap of Survivor Gabon
involved tribes ranking their members from most to least
important to their tribe. Which two players, one each for
original Fang and Koda, were ranked most important and
therefore served as captains in the school yard pick. So who
are the two players that were ranked the most important and
were captains for the school yard pick. Marcus and Maddie. Marcus and Maddie without the multiple choice knocked it out of the park.
Amy, you start with two points. Very impressive. I would not have gotten that. I think with the
multiple choice, I don't think I would have got that. I did a little studying before this.
Okay. All right. That's it. I think it's worth it. And clearly, it has paid off.
I mean, I guess those are the two people that if you were like, oh, who are the big alpha bros of
Survivor Gabon? But yeah, those were the two that were voted most important. Okay. So,
Amy, you have two points. Rob, we are now going to you what season? I'm gonna go with 47.
47.
Okay.
Let's see if this is actually 47.
Asia, Asia.
Yes.
Okay, good.
In one of the darkest days in Survivor history,
Asia's tour was prematurely snuffed
in a wild three to one to one to zero vote.
Who did Asia vote against at this tribal?
Who did Asia vote against this tribal?
I'm not even going to ask for the multiple
choice because there's only so many people.
Who did Asia vote against?
Three.
Okay, so.
Hmm.
I'm going to say.
Yes.
Okay.
I was going to say while you're thinking Asia is going to be the guest on.
Yes.
Thank you for the plug.
Okay.
I feel like might be teeing up Amy here because I don't know how many other viable options
there are, but I will say that Asia voted for Genevieve. Genevieve, whose husband Mark was on this podcast
two weeks ago, is the correct answer.
Rob, you have tied up the score at two.
Baby, I noticed a rather large exhale when I said that.
Were you hoping that I was gonna be wrong?
You knew it?
I was.
I did know that, yes.
Okay.
Yeah.
Crazy tribal, Saul got a vote. Asia, unfortunately, got the
plurality of the votes there. Rome had a vote negated by the idol. Imagine if the correct answer
to that question had been that she didn't vote because she played the shot in the dark. I feel
like you would have been very mad if that were a trick question, but that was not the case here.
I would have been... He would have remembered that.
Yeah. I think he would have remembered she played the shot in the dark, but it would have been annoying for sure. Yeah. Well, I don't know if He would have remembered that. And I think I remember she played the shot in the dark,
but it would have been annoying for sure.
Yeah, well, to me, I don't know if I
would have asked the question, because I
think if Asia had played the shot in the dark,
it would have been something seared into our memories.
So it is two to and Amy, you get to choose the next the next
season.
OK, I think I'll go Vanuatu.
All right, survivor Vanuatu with two groups of four having been formed on the Yassir tribe,
it appeared that their tribal council would result in a tie.
Who flipped from their alliance, instead resulting in Mia getting voted out five to three?
Lisa. Lisa Kiefer.
Amy, you win the Lisa Kiefer award.
That is two points. OK, you have a four to two lead, Amy.
I am incredibly intimidated right now.
Amy is not just getting the answers,
is getting, like, it took everything I had to get
the Asia voted for Genevieve question right.
Amy just pulled Lisa Kieffer out instantly.
I mean, going into this, I was like, Rob's 2-0, I gotta prep.
Yes, okay.
All right, it's not over yet.
It's not over yet.
Hmm.
Okay.
This might've been a bit of a trap game for you, Rob.
Trap game.
Let's see what happens.
I'm feeling too confident.
Okay, I think I'm gonna say,
let's go to.
Let's go to Marquesas.
All right. All the way back to the Marquesa.
Hunter's boot in Survivor Marquesas was one of the bigger pre-emerge
blindsides of old school survivor besides Hunter, who was the only player
to not vote against him on his tribe at this tribal. OK.
who was the only player to not vote against him on his tribe at this tribal?
Okay.
I believe that the only person to not vote out Hunter was the watermelon seed
spitting queen, Gina Cruz.
The seeds baby herself. See, she's gonna cruise. Is correct, Rob. You tied at four.
Rob, you are of the old school.
You ever get to meet Gina Cruz?
You get to hang out at any of these events?
I'm trying to think if I ever came across her.
If I did, I want to say I think maybe at the Vanuatu finale,
I think that that might have been the only time that I ever crossed paths with her.
And I'm not even 100% sure.
I don't remember.
So it's just you, Gina, Lisa, Kiefer.
Maybe Hunter, I think I might have only met at my finale.
Did he try to sell you like a switchblade or something?
That was long before.
I think it was like a torchlight.
Okay, but here we go.
All right.
Speaking of season four, we're all tied up at four.
We are. Amy, this is a big decision here. Do you want to go to Game Changers or do you
want to go to 41? I'll try 41. Okay, going to the other New Era question. While Brad
would be voted out with two advantages by the end of this episode, at least things started
well for him, winning a steal a vote in the middle of the night journey. Which two players were
on the journey with him yet what went back empty handed after both choosing Tarp in the
somewhat confusing steal a vote or Tarp decision.
Okay. All right. I'm not going to be answering quickly on this one. Okay.
Work it out? Yeah, yeah, okay.
All right, so he went on a journey. Who was on his journey?
Okay.
Who else is there?
I would have thought the Lisa Kiefer question
would have been much tougher than this one.
Not that this is easy.
This is old new era.
This is a long time ago at this point.
Well, I kind of studied up on the votes because I kind of saw that in Twitch history there were a lot of vote questions.
I like talking about that.
This week in Survivor History history.
Yeah. Okay, so who else? Okay, all right, so who on Erica's tribe would have gone?
Not Erica, not Heather, not Sydney.
Okay, so it's a man.
There's Danny, Deshaun, Nasir.
Can you repeat the question?
Sure.
So this is the episode where Brad was voted out.
He won a steal a vote at the middle of the night journey.
Which two players were with him on the journey,
yet went back empty handed after both choosing TARP
in the confusing steal a vote or TARP decision.
So it was the two players with Brad Reese on the journey.
Was it confusing to them or to you?
I think it was confusing to everybody
at the time watching it.
Because there was like, basically the mechanism was
if they all chose TARP, they all got a TARP.
If two people chose TARP and one person chose steal a vote,
which is what happened, the TARP people got nothing
but the steal a vote was given to whoever.
So it was a little weird.
It was a little bit of a weird mechanism there.
Okay. All right. This is tough. Okay. And if I answer, regardless if I answer without the
multiple choice, Rob could steal, right? Rob could steal either way he will not get the multiple choice though if you don't ask for it.
Okay.
All right I think I know who on the blue tribe I'm trying to remember who on the yellow tribe
in between two.
All right, I don't want to take too long, sorry. I'll go with Danny and Evy. That is incorrect. So Rob, you don't get the multiple choice, but you can still.
Okay. Well, Amy's previous questions, I had no idea, but I do know that it is Sydney and Tiffany.
Sydney and Tiffany are both correct. So Rob, you do steal the point here. The game is not
over because it is, it is five for Rob. If Rob gets this wrong, Amy will get to steal and then we would go to a tiebreaker.
Rob, your question is going to be from Game Changers, everybody's favorite season in the
combined tribal council in which Nuku and Manu Mana both attended, but only one player was voted out.
Malcolm famously went home by a five to zero vote who received six votes at this tribal,
which were negated by an idol play. This is a votes one, Amy. You might have known. Malcolm famously went home by a five to zero vote who received six votes at this tribal,
which were negated by an idol play.
This is a votes one, Amy.
You might have known this one.
I know.
I do know it.
You might get the answer.
It was only episode three?
Okay.
Because it was a two hour premiere.
I do believe that it was FF, SDT, fan favorite, Sierra Don Thomas.
There is some speculation as to if Sierra Don Thomas
is actually a fan favorite, but there is no speculation
as to the right answer to this question.
Rob, you do get the two points and you win the quiz seven to four.
Well, Amy, I had to get all my questions right today.
Amy, you had us in the first half. I'm not going to lie.
And I say this all the time about Twitch,
that it's really, it's like, you know,
you don't wanna step on the landmine
of that you had two questions that you answered
that I did not know the answer to.
And so it really comes down to,
sometimes Jordan's gonna ask you
something incredibly difficult,
and sometimes it's just a matter of opening the right box.
And today I got lucky.
It's like survival.
You've been going new school season,
so I really was hoping you would have taken 41,
but I wasn't so confident on game changers.
However, Amy, there's redemption in store for you
because you might be able to solve the verbal rebus.
No problem.
Let's hope so.
OK, this is a I'm looking at this now.
This is a long verbal rebus.
It looks like a paragraph.
Here we go.
Guatemala Cindy kept one of these instead of giving them to her tri-mates.
Hmm.
Plus the first letter of the only third
place finalist to cast a tie breaking vote to determine the winner.
What is this?
The first letter of the person who cast the tie breaking to determine the winner of Survivor.
Plus the casualty of Monono's decision to give up tribal immunity in one world.
So the person who got voted out when Monono gave up their tribal immunity.
Plus the only Thailand player to ever
return to Survivor, minus blank died dude, according to ThunderD, plus the first letter of rapper,
the noble one's first name, plus Survivor 43's second highest ranking Baka Boys.
So there were the Baka Boys Alliance who came in the second best
placement out of those three minus the first letter of Survivor
Africa's winner.
So a lot of stuff.
Let's break it down one by one.
What are we minusing?
The first letter of Survivor Africa's winner.
I don't think you need to do that.
Yeah, I don't know if I needed to.
I did consult with one of my verbal rebus consultants on this one,
and we decided to leave it in.
I won't throw this person under the bus.
Can you solve Jordan's verbal rebus today?
Yes, I believe it is the third boot from Survivor Africa,
Carl Balancione.
Carl Balancione. Someone who probably hates trivia more than Rob.
I think you could have left it Carl Balancione. I think you have done way worse.
I have done more stretches.
What was it? Last week that you made up a name that didn't even exist?
Well, Melinda Titer.
I mean, nobody knows about Melinda.
I feel like it's the most that Melinda Titer has been talked about on a podcast where now that's like officially her real name.
Yes. OK. Yes.
It was the car curse.
We had the L for Laurel.
We had the Bill Posley.
She and mine is she.
Well, then what was the C for Chris Noble?
The first letter of the rapper,
the Noble one's first name.
Owen Knight minus the E for Ethan, Carl Balanci.
Owen comes up on Twitch a lot lately.
I texted him last week, I said,
hey, thank you for helping me win Twitch last week,
lovable curmudgeon.
Okay.
Yeah, this was a fun verbal, Rebus, fun quiz. Rob, you do win the quiz.
I got to go on.
I got to join David and Jessica on why Blink lost last week,
and I had a great time.
And I am not going to do a whole breakdown on why Amy lost.
But I do think Amy did not break a lot of the Twitch rules.
You did a very good job.
You have the Twitch rules like David Bloomberg.
I mean, get more points.
That's the only one. That's the only one you broke. What are the, you have to twist rules like David Bloomberg? I mean, get more points.
That's the only one you broke. Okay.
Anyway, Amy, you really had me nervous.
I did not think I was gonna be coming out of this one
with the victory.
And so I had a little scare today.
So that I know it ultimately didn't go your way,
but great job today.
Thank you. Yeah.
I didn't embarrass myself.
That's what I was nervous about.
I got a couple rights.
Not at all.
Amy, anything you want to tell people to check out?
Not really, no.
I'm on Facebook and Instagram,
but I don't have anything else.
Okay.
Yeah.
All right, well, Amy, thank you for being here
and thank you for being such a great listener of RHAP for all these years. Oh
Thank you. Oh, I do have a funny story if you want to hear it
It's so it's a Rob on social media. Oh
So, um, I don't not canceled, am I?
Oh no.
I mean you are, but not for this problem.
Yeah.
No, so for all the Gen Zers,
there was a social media platform called MySpace.
Okay.
Back in around 2006.
And when I was on it, I decided to friend
as many survivor people as I could.
And so I was MySpace friends with you for however long MySpace was around for.
And you had a tagline on MySpace.
And I thought yours was the wittiest tagline I had ever heard at the time.
What was it?
I brought Sexy back, but I didn't have a receipt.
So all I got was store credit.
No recollection of that.
Thank you for remembering that.
Classic Rob. That's just such a typical Rob thing to say.
He said that to me just like in conversation.
Now I'd be lucky to get Cole's cash, Amy. Yeah, I know, right?
What a pack.
Okay, all right, yeah, that was a great story.
Oh, good, yeah, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I thought I was hoping for a laugh, so.
Yes, okay.
And Jordan, what's coming up for you?
We got Twitch next week.
Keep watching us.
Week four-y, can the perfect season continue?
It might.
Let's see.
We'll find out who the guest is.
I can't wait to see who's going to be taking you on in trivia.
Survivor 48.
Loving it.
Really enjoying the season.
So keep watching that.
I'm sure you are if you're listening to this podcast.
And Club Kondo.
Love the Brandon Donlon quiz on Club Kondo this week.
So check that out if you haven't listened to last week's Club Condo.
Find out about everybody's humble traits.
And, you know, people sometimes probably think that Jordan, oh, like he can't count.
That's his humble trait. No, not even true.
That would have been too obvious if I gave that.
Yeah. All right. Thank you so much for joining us for another week of TWISH.
Be sure to look out for Asia on the recap here with me. Make sure you subscribe to the podcast get our HAP calm
