Starting point is 00:00:00 You don't need AI agents, which may sound weird coming from Service Now, the leader in AI agents. The truth is, AI agents need you. Sure, they'll process, predict, even get work done autonomously. But they don't dream, read a room, rally a team, and they certainly don't have shower thoughts, pivotal hallway chats, or big ideas. People do. And people, when given the best AI platform, they're freed up to do the fulfilling work they want to do. To see how ServiceNow puts AI to work for people, visit ServiceNow.com. Getting ready for a game means being ready for anything.

Starting point is 00:02:50 Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Dot, dot, dot. What's up? What's up? And welcome back to your favorite Survivor's favorite Survivor's podcast, which is Survivor News covering Survivor Season 50, Episode 3. Ooh, humba-pattata. Okay, we had episode one.
Starting point is 00:03:23 We had episode two. And by say, we got episode three. We are back the baby boys of Survivor News with the winner of Ghost Island. And not to be confused with the man, Chris Norfolk. that was rapping. To be clear, this was the man that told the noble to stop rapping. Mr. Windezy Holland, welcome back. What's going on?
Starting point is 00:03:50 Yes. Okay. And then the man, the myth, the legend that was in these Rhab streets at the Rhab live in L.A. schmoozing it up with all the fans I'm hearing. Who's looking mighty fresh today on the podcast. We've got from Netflix, the Circle season. And more importantly, the floor is lava.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Jacari Atkins, welcome back. What's up? Yeah. I mean, you guys aren't coming to L.A. at all. So I had to make do and pull up on RHap Live in L.A. And, you know, it was no BWP, but it was a show for sure. I mean, it was a big crowd. So it was a very cool experience.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Yeah, the photos looked dope, even though I gave Jack one assignment, but we won't go there. But, oh, y'all saying go there. Yeah, I just said, hey, send me a photo of what you wear. And I want to see what the baby boy, you know, looking like. So. I got you. And.
Starting point is 00:04:54 All right. Let me go. You're right. A, I'm sure. I think I will have some photo. They brought me up on stage real quick. So, you know, I'll be some photos on stage. It was during a commercial break me in QT.
Starting point is 00:05:09 they get with some circle time. I didn't really say anything of substance. I was a little nervous. We were nervous. That Jack were there. Like, nine of your people in there. And it was a little hard to hear because the,
Starting point is 00:05:21 the, it was, so I didn't say much, but, um, but what? I don't get nervous on our half stages, for real,
Starting point is 00:05:29 for real. The reason I didn't say, uh, or didn't send a picture. My excuse is that last minute plans to go grab some food before, came up and Jag and Jazz gave me a ring because they came into town
Starting point is 00:05:44 and we were sort of like, can you, my picking us up? I offered, but, you know. Did you pick them up naked? Whoa, no, no, no. But I realized, you know, in adding the time because I was already getting ready
Starting point is 00:05:58 for me to be like, oh, to pick them up and get to our dinner, I have to leave like right now. So I hung up the phone, threw all my fit, and got out of there. Okay. So I wasn't. There was no time during a commercial break. It wasn't no time right backstage.
Starting point is 00:06:14 I'm not asking for no photos that I'm going to see online. I wanted a photo sent to my phone to the Jack Reactions to see what my baby boy looking like. They all wanted to see it. That's my, well, you know, we'll get the pictures. You see how he do, Posse? He go up on the Rhab stage one time. And already, he's showing up to the podcast and a fit that he normally looked like he just waking up. Now it looked like he took a shower.
Starting point is 00:06:38 He got a chain on. Honestly, I haven't showered yet today. I feel kind of grimy right now. I'm not going to lie. So, you know, you're gassing me up. I feel, I'm a little, I was, came in a little tired. I was like, I feel worse than usual. So now I'm looking back on my pass and Bryce, I guess I wasn't good enough.
Starting point is 00:07:00 Well, I guess we will let it slide, Jack, because you're here today, and that's all that matters, when DZ and I I am back from O KC that we had a great time, a great show, and we know Jack runs a tight ship so we won't give you the particulars that the particulars.
Starting point is 00:07:18 If you want the particulars of the particulars, you can head over to the Bryce and win Patreon and you can get all the tea. But listen, OKC showed out, shout out to the posse that was there. We loved seeing each and every one of you. And on the other side of the coast, Ozzie,
Starting point is 00:07:35 Oscar was holding it down in Chicago at a sold out Bryce and Win event in Chicago with Oscar. Did you say the other side of the coast? Listen, the other side of where I was at. Not the coast, but the inland. Okay. He was in the Shattel. Chattel was holding the down. And it was an epic showing.
Starting point is 00:07:58 So, again, we appreciate everybody. We'll go on to details more about all of that. But it was an amazing episode. amazing two stops, but that doesn't stop us because Bryce and Wynn are on the road 250 and we've got some more dates for you and Oscar is on season 50 on the road in 50.
Starting point is 00:08:21 And so next week we are batting our way down to Nashville and we've got some Survivor Legends coming with us and Oscar is on his way to San Diego. Tickets are available. You can click the link in the Bryce and Wals. when present Instagram bio
Starting point is 00:08:37 or if you're watching on YouTube just write in the descriptions, okay? And Oscar said, listen, he's not on the road enough.
Starting point is 00:08:44 We have added, I don't know if we've added all of them yet. So correct me if I'm wrong, but I do know Dallas.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Y'all was calling. Ozzy is answering. Ozzie will be headed to Dallas. He also is headed to Miami. Okay. He's also
Starting point is 00:09:03 headed to I wasn't supposed to say, okay, well, listen, when Oscar texts me, I just, you know, I just give it all out. He's going to another place as well. I don't know if we're putting that out there, but if you know where Jolensky lived, that's where he headed to two. So make sure you stay tuned to the bright. The only one we booked was San Francisco. Well, while I was on the plane, I booked to Las Vegas. So listen, he's coming.
Starting point is 00:09:27 So tickets are available. Oscars on the tour, Bryce and winter on the tour. And we are off to the epic start. And again, we just appreciate the past. for showing us so much love, showing Jack some love, showing me some love, showing me some love, showing
Starting point is 00:09:40 this podcast some love. We really do appreciate it. But listen. We had some posse in the building at our half last night, too. So, you know, global presence. Listen, that's the posse hub right there. So, who, I got a lot.
Starting point is 00:09:56 But listen, I'm trying to calm down because I'll be coming on this. Season 50 got the baby boy ready to go. And this episode, I have a lot to say. But this is what I will say. If you, okay, Jack, you want, okay, Jack, kick it back off to me. I got you. This is what I will say.
Starting point is 00:10:15 This episode, because I feel like there are themes that we are seeing in each of these episodes that we have saw. I felt like last episode, episode two, it was the theme of old school, new school, how does it fit in? Where do we fit in? I felt like tonight's episode. Episode three was a master showing of how you play Survivor. And we can talk about it because I really feel like we saw some people fall down.
Starting point is 00:10:49 But people recovered. And also not just the people that fell down recover. It's the people that could have said, what you do, how you do, what? How they maneuver. So I really feel like there was a master class of Survivor. going on. And it's all about the vibes. You got to go with the vibes.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Survivor's a game of chance. Survivors are a game of luck. Survivors are a game of strategy. But it's also a game of vibes. And sometimes when you hear the little in your stomach, it's not a gastro. It's not a shark in the dark.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Sometimes the is your instincts. It's the vibe check. And sometimes you've got to go with the vibe check. Jack, that's what I got to say. Where are we going? Or Wendeezy, what's your take? Overall episode, Arch. Hate it. They sent my man. Well, I don't got much to say, I'm living that my dog, Q is out of here.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Well. And we'll get into it. Jeff had a couple bars for us. We'll get into it. Wendell, you're, you're, you're, you're, number one post on Reddit right now. Am I? Really? My stop rapping? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Can we get right into it? Sure. Hold on a second, Jeff. Oh. Oh. What's he writing over there? Should we? ISO or when?
Starting point is 00:12:29 Give him the ISO cam, Bryce. Oh, oh. I know what that meant. Oh, y'all want to do it? All right. I didn't know what that meant. That's a basketball term, Bryce. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Why you go so fast? Okay, sorry. Yeah, get the beat right, Bryce. Well, Dayton had to beat right when they were snapping on that island, but okay. Y'all beat is all off. Y'all beat is worse than Jeff Probst's beat. Are we lagging, Bryce? I think it's, uh, okay.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Jeff, stop rapping. Your trash at Rapid. Your trash at Rapid. You have no bars. Put the mic down, bro. Put the pen down, bro. Use an eraser. But I love you, Prost, no hate.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Let's get into this. Let's get right into it. What do we think about the rapping? Who ghost wrote that for Prost? First of all, let's get into the snapping. because on my rewatch, okay, it was a snap, snap, snap, snap, snap, snap, okay? Like, they edited, they edited in the snap because I rewatch, hey, well, they should put a little more on it. Because, you all had Jonathan over here, like, okay, you had Christian, you had Christian,
Starting point is 00:14:11 you had Christian, Kubicki, count on the miller decicence, okay? only people I saw on beat was Camilla Tiffany and Surrey but listen Camilla didn't look like she wanted to hear it I just was like what in the we're on the Fiji land we're coming to get your minds in this is Jeff Prope Soaps I'm coming on those rope soaps I'm like Are you trying to like are you trying to lead up to the single that you drop
Starting point is 00:14:41 Jeff I was confused but listen The thing about 50 is you might hate it, but you love to hate it though, right? Like, it's like, okay, Jeff. I just, I was, I was, I was, I was lost. He said drop your bluffs, because you're about to drop your buffs. Chad, I thought he said something else. I said, well, all right. Thought you never asked.
Starting point is 00:15:06 What you think about the rap, Jack? Yeah, it wasn't great, but I maybe, maybe, maybe, I, not much said. It's kind of just a campy. I mean, maybe they were leaning into it being kind of campy. I don't know. I mean, Jeff released his rock song up top. I was better than this.
Starting point is 00:15:27 But, you know, then you... Not my much. But it's like, I... The question to me is when Jeff does this, is he like, this would be like a funny, campy moment? Or is he like, yo, they're going to mess with this one. I think I know what it is. I think it's...
Starting point is 00:15:44 Jeff knows. that the people are going to talk about it, one way or another, and the majority of the talk is going to be talking smack about it. But he knows that this will be one of those cringy moments that get the people talking, and let's get them talking. So he gave it to us. I just know when Jeff got back to base camp, he was damped up to people like, y'all see the head.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Jeff was like, that was off the dome. he was like how was how was serri looking about it Surrey like it whatever it was it's 50 and it was something
Starting point is 00:16:26 it got us talking I mean he definitely went with that old school like it was like a fresh prince flower he wasn't French he went with the old school like that yeah
Starting point is 00:16:39 That's what I say he was going with the, well, yeah, that's what I will say. He stayed in the lane. He stayed in like the white dad lane, okay? You know, I would have liked it if he would have hit a little future, a little Drake, a little drop the tone, give me a little falsetto, give me a little butt. He stayed in his lane.
Starting point is 00:17:00 And so for that, I can appreciate it. So it was a great little start. Yeah, I mean, that's what brought us right into the swap, which is obviously the key component of this episode is that we were switching things up. What did you guys think about these new tribes? I mean, and then we, yeah, I guess let's first talk about these three new tribes.
Starting point is 00:17:23 And to recap those, we have, we have, we have, we can't bring up that. I don't know if this was the actual, like, even though, yeah, it. Oh, wait, you're right. No, I haven't written out. So the new orange tribes, Sela is
Starting point is 00:17:40 Charlie, Jonathan, Camilla, and D all from that original Teal Trad. Rizzo and Rizzo, alone from Vatu, and then Surrey
Starting point is 00:17:52 and Rick Devons. Then the new Teal tribe is Coach Joe, Colby, and Chrissy. So you've got the MAGA contingency
Starting point is 00:18:03 there. And then you got Genevieve, Aubrey, and Tiffany. I do not know any of their political meetings. That was a joke. Think you might have hit the head on the nail. They all linked up.
Starting point is 00:18:17 I don't know about Chrissy. I don't know about Chrissy. Yeah, maybe not. But Coach was like, this is, this is the best tribe swap ever. Joe, you changed my life. Some would say it's the Zoom Alliance. I mean, I don't know. I just listen to the Exapress. Okay. And then you got Genevieve, Aubrey, Tiffany.
Starting point is 00:18:38 and then you got over on the new Vatu tribe, Christian Mike and Angelina, all from David versus Goliath. And you got Emily and Ozzie. And then you got Q and Stephanie over from the state on their original tribe. First impressions, first impressions of these tribes. Which ones stood out to you?
Starting point is 00:19:03 What relationships were you the most excited to see? I like to see the David versus Goliath. reunion. Like I love to see Angelina and Christian together. I also like, and with Mike White there, and Mike White telling us that he's basically friends with everybody. Only person he didn't really know was Q. He knew Ozzy from some restaurant. What's the name of the restaurant, Mike? What's the name of the restaurant, Mike? I like to know. But so that for me, when I saw the pairings of all of the other tribes, I was like, that's the weakest tribe. And so I'm the most concerned about it.
Starting point is 00:19:39 But I also was really, really interested in where Surrey was at because we got to follow mother. And like, I'm like, okay, Surrey and Devons are together. Still very concerned. And I also was very, very curious about, like, where Aubrey's going. And, you know, with Aubrey, Genevieve, who else was over there? Tiffany. And then the coach Joe Colby, Chrissy, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Right. You know the. And to see, I was interested to see like the Christian Rick combo and what was going to, where they were going to go, especially with Christian wanted to share info before going. And I'd love to talk about him whispering to flip in. Yeah. And then landing on the same beach as her. And she got the loose lips. I'd love to talk about all of that. Well, let's take it from the start of that, which is Christian and Devons hatched this plan, which I think essentially.
Starting point is 00:20:40 was if we do swap, here's some knowledge or information we can take to Aubrey to extend an olive branch to work with her. They sort of decide to put the responsibility of the finding and the giving of the idol on Rick Devons. And so I guess, yeah, what do you guys, to one else point, what do you guys think about that plan? What do you guys think about the decision to sort of shift the burden to Rick? and just everything that transpired
Starting point is 00:21:13 with Christian telling her on the mat. I guess let's take it up to there and then we can talk about once they swap all the stuff that Emily flipping got into. Wendy Zee? Yeah, I think that Christian has been playing a really good game. I think he's so smart and I think he's doing a really good job
Starting point is 00:21:31 of masking his good game. I think that whispering to Emily was a flub on his behalf. I think that placing the idol finding on Devin's and Devin's saying, sure, was great on Christian's behalf. It's like Christian is this guy that can attract a lot of eyes and attention.
Starting point is 00:21:57 You see him in these confessionals. He's brilliant. And one way for him to minimize his threat is to not be all those things and an idol finder. So, hey, Mr. Idolfinder, Devin's, You own this one. And Devons is cool with it.
Starting point is 00:22:13 I think that was a great, I think that was a great idea. I think sharing the info with their people is a great idea. I think the whispering to Emily at the ninth hour was not the best idea. I concur. I think it was super, the thing about sharing the knowledge of saying it's Rick Devons is the one that found it,
Starting point is 00:22:36 very, very smart. But in reality, if they all were separated in on different tribes, like in it don't really matter because it's like whoever is delivering that information to the person is in good favors. We even see it with Q
Starting point is 00:22:50 trying to deliver the information to Ozzy and Q practically says he don't want to send it to Aubrey. He's the one that sent it to Ozzy. So I thought that that was like very genius and I love the fact that they're like, let's disseminate it to our people so we can lock them in.
Starting point is 00:23:06 And again, for me, one of the stars of, the episode was when Rick Devin is telling Sarree, there are shots of Christian like, oh, oh, and I'm like, Christian is like, he is really out here selling his game. And I love that.
Starting point is 00:23:23 I'm like, okay, you know, buy in with Surrey. And so I love that. I do think two things can be right. I do understand them wanting to tell Emily. And I know they're like, oh, Ozzie was right there. If y'all don't pull Emily flip into the side, grab her and pull her up. Like that was just, and so
Starting point is 00:23:42 that was just the frustrating part to me. It's like, don't just tell her on the mat because I understand what Christian is doing, like time is of the essence. Aubrey has the idol, but it's Emily Flippin. Emily Flipping is just as smart and as calculating as anyone else out here. So it's like she doesn't know how to take that.
Starting point is 00:24:01 And so that, to me, kind of like develops what I perceive as very smart gameplay by Emily and Christian, even in this blunder that we see. And we can talk about it as we go on. But I thought the recovery and how and which things went, again, I think one of the star players of this episode was Emily. Like, Emily flipping. Although I'm like, Emily, girl, is you flipping? But she really was flipping. She was flipping and flopping. But she was following her gut. And I think that that is talked about enough one survivor. Yeah, Emily Flippin was a real conundrum for me this episode.
Starting point is 00:24:50 I mean, she was excellent TV. And I see why when someone tells you on the mat, the mat at the swap, someone has an idol. It's like, well, what's the context of this information? Do you want me to go target them? Like, I don't, what do you, what do you, what does it mean? But Emily was, it was messy, like, for sure. And you get swapped to the beach with the person who told. you who's your ally, just go ask.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Like, before you talk. Yeah, have a conversation. Like, so what was that about? But no, she runs off to every cue. And now it was really confusing for me. Yeah, it didn't really make sense. But she's somehow able to recover. She also makes the move of like, she kind of, she hits Angelina with it. It's like, I don't care what everyone else is saying about you. I like you. And it's like puts her in immediate like paranoia, but also is like builds that relationship.
Starting point is 00:25:48 But yeah, I thought, I thought it was something that Emily there, that messiness, it works out okay with Christian because he's pretty understanding guy, but that does not work out. You know, that's not, don't try that with a Joe. You know, that's not going to fly. And it's funny because I was watching this with, you know, some of the 45ers from her, from her season last night.
Starting point is 00:26:12 And, you know, like Zach Whartonberger, who plays Blood on the Clock Tower with her and Stephen and that crew a bunch. And it's, they were saying that Emily, like, even in like Blood on the Clock Tower, she, you give her any morsel of information, she will go tell other people about it. But at the same time, she will be like,
Starting point is 00:26:36 Zach told me all this stuff. She's like, I think Zach's kind of suspect for sharing that information with me as she's the one who's sharing all the information. But they said somehow she also wins more than anybody. So I don't know what the magic of the flipping is. Well, let me tell you what the magic is because this is what I'm saying is stellar survivor gameplay. I think in one of her confessionals, she says, I don't want to play Christian's game. Like, you know, because at this point, we know Christian is over here. He's mastermining it.
Starting point is 00:27:06 And it's like, we're all five. following Christian. So he gives her that information. She's a little weary. She gets on a new tribe. And I like the fact that she was like, I'm not automatically locked in with you. I don't really know what's going on over here.
Starting point is 00:27:20 But Ozzy and Q approached me. And they seem very hungry to work with me. I don't really know what's going on with this information. Let me tell y'all. She tells them. And it kind of in Q's book, Hook and Sing. Q said you come to my house.
Starting point is 00:27:35 You got to bring something to me. So, but hear me out, Jack. So she gives that to him. They also tell her about the Angelina thing. And so she goes and talks to Angelina. Again, it's all about the vibe. They say on Survivor, I think Genevieve said it this episode, when you get out there and you get a good,
Starting point is 00:27:53 key, key, kiki, kiki, kaka, you want to go with that person. So what is wrong with, although, yes, she is kind of doing Christian a little dirty, but that's if she's 100% locked in. Emily's like, I played that game before. Let me open up the field. So she opens up. She has an end with Ozzie and Q. Now she's talking with Angelina.
Starting point is 00:28:15 They connect on something that just like, or just on the level that we clearly see is different in the Ozzy and Q. Boom. She connected. Now she's got three ways that she can move. Now she's putting herself in as the nucleus. Then when Q and Stephanie come to her and they tell her, yeah, it's Angelina.
Starting point is 00:28:33 This is what we got to do. This is what we got to do. The way Emily. clocks. Oh, it's a dictatorship. Oh, y'all just need my vote. Oh, y'all want me to just go with y'all. Now that gives Emily the wherewithal to be like, do I want to work with these people that are just using me? Now I could give this information to Angelina. Now me and Angelina are locked in. And guess what? I'm going to go back and tell Christian, hey, I messed up. I'm being honest. And so I really, although it sounds a mess, but I like the it's like Emily was on hinge.
Starting point is 00:29:10 She was swiping. She was listening to the voice notes. Okay, he looked good. Okay, he like, come over the night. Oh, that's a little too forward. She kept swiping. This other guy was like, I spend a lot of money. Emily, like, okay.
Starting point is 00:29:22 There's other guy's like, hey, what's your favorite color? What's the book you like? Emily's like, okay. Let me like, and now she got three dates, but now she got one that she's kind of sort of locked in. So I'm, although it is a mess, and I wouldn't recommend it, I really do like the way she didn't just stay locked in. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:44 I have to give props. Like, she did maneuver her way to be the center of this tribe and like the deciding vote. Like, however, whatever way you go about doing that is very, very impressive. Granted, you know, with the setup of this tribe, with three, three David versus Goliath people, you know, Stephanie and Q kind of on the other side targeting each other. She sort of naturally
Starting point is 00:30:12 would have been in the middle of this. But props nonetheless. And I, I mean, Emily's the type where she is going to play her own game and she will just take matters into her own hands and like constantly shift. It is incredible television. My concern as to what, like,
Starting point is 00:30:30 why I would push back on you saying it's like, oh wow, that's funny. Push back. That's her term. But I would push back on you saying it's like stellar is I just, to me, the information is so valuable in this game. And it's all about like finding the right time to disseminate the information. And if you're doing this at final 21 where your closest ally seemingly Christian gives you info.
Starting point is 00:30:55 And then the first conversation apparently that you have with the new people on your tribe, you just share that. Christian might forgive that this time and it's going to work out. But if that happens again, I'm going to find it very difficult for Christian to view Emily as someone that he can work with, like, long term. And maybe it won't happen again. But we know Emily flipping. It's going to be a long game.
Starting point is 00:31:16 And if you suddenly just become the type of person who is constantly just like regurgitating information, I think that, A, people don't really want to work with you. And I feel like, B, it kind of like, maybe this isn't the case for everybody. I feel like at some point, people get a little bit sick of it and just sort of like devoutes. values your game. Where like, if people consider you the type, it's like, oh, I give them info, they're just going to spread it to everybody. Like, that's not a player. Anyone really wants to, even if it, like, works in terms of maneuvering you through
Starting point is 00:31:45 the game, it's sort of like, that's a player that people sometimes want to avoid. So I worry for her longevity. She has to be, I just want her to be a little bit more. Because I think there is such a world where she takes Q&M's approach to her, plays ball, accepts it, has the. option doesn't share any of her like real real pertinent information about like Aubrey having an idol or whatever and then she still goes with the David versus Goliath group and is fine and I'll add not to not to ramble I don't know if voting up key was even the right move
Starting point is 00:32:29 because now and look I I I can't say that for sure for sure I don't know if I'm I can't say that for for sure, because I do think this like Mike and Christian and Angelina group, probably a better alliance for her than like, Q and Q and Stephanie. But Ozzy seem to actually have a lot of like strategic clarity this episode, where if this three does seem to be a trio and you and Ozzie are the swing, you vote out in Angelina and then flip back with Mike and Christian, and then that could be your squad.
Starting point is 00:33:06 because now this David versus Goliath trio effectively has the majority in this drive because now there's six left and they have three votes and if they're not going to split up Emily might be the four but and she might be fine in that position but I don't know you also it's it's I hear what you're saying but Emily still has an open role with Ozzie and she still has a very close connection with Angelina and so I understand what you're saying but also it's still very early on in this game. Sometimes people get screwed for locking in and not moving around. So although what Emily did is messy, it's still early in the game. Like, I'm not, like, I'm not tied to you for life, not death do as part. And I do feel like a lot of the pressure is being put on Emily. But like, let's, and I love Q, but like, let's talk about some of the mistakes Q and Stephanie made. Like, the way that y'all are talking to her, the way that you're like, it's like, hello, like, what's going on? Like, you just met this girl and y'all think like, hey, this is what we doing.
Starting point is 00:34:11 This is how we go with. Let's go. You with us. We need. It's a little off-putting. And so again, I think Emily had the right read on that. I hate that it had to be this way, but it's like Emily read right through that. She would have been a duck over there.
Starting point is 00:34:25 And now she's back with her. She's back with Christian. She has Mike White. She has Angelina. And we see Ozzie. You're right. Ozzy had a lot of clarity. I don't know what Ozzy.
Starting point is 00:34:35 which I was like, I'm not with Serena Mark. I'll wake up. But like, you know, Ozzy went with the numbers. And so now the game for Emily is still really open. So again, I think she blustered, blundered a lot. But her clarity and the ability to trust your guts, I think, really spoke out. And I think that that's a common thing throughout all of the other tribes. She does have great instincts.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Like, her instincts did get her to a good spot. And the messiness is fun. But, like, I'm nervous. for her. Yeah. And we'll get more into that later about the, you know, Q versus Stephanie versus Angelina vote because I think there's a lot of unpacked, but maybe we saved that. There's a lot. And we'll hold back to that. Because again, I said, I don't know if that's the right vote, but I, that's not me saying that I think it was the wrong vote. Like, I truly don't know. Because like I said, I think Emily's better off in the long term with like a Christian in a
Starting point is 00:35:32 Mike than she is as, as, as a like with a cue and a Stephanie. Bro, I think you got a clear David Goliath three. Like, despite whatever we, like, I thought, I'm like, oh, does Christian Angelina really not like each other? But you got a clear David Goliath three. Like, people try to distance themselves from their friends on returning seasons, and people bust that apart. And I think they should have broken this David Goliath.
Starting point is 00:36:03 What? What? I thought they should have I thought they should have gotten Angelina yeah it's great TV and all Q we love you
Starting point is 00:36:18 you did yourself no favors in saying write my name down to my okay you gave him the you gave him the dagger for you just a quick quick message to Quetavius uh oh
Starting point is 00:36:32 wait okay and Bryce be careful because we might see Q. Well, I'm just saying Weak. Quatavius keeps saying I don't dry. But I made one thing we do have in common
Starting point is 00:36:46 I got three episodes. And apparently so do Q. So what's up? Okay? What's up? You better, not too much on Q, Bryce Isaiah. Well, listen, Q, Q, Q, you don't listen.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Grace. Weren't there two boots? of your pain. Hey, hey, Jack! Jack! Okay. Sorry. Shut your mouth, Jack. Okay. I'm doing Bryce man. Now, let's also keep our glasses on, because I want to go to the other tribe. The Surrey, Rick Devons, D, Jonathan, Chrissy, Colby, and Coach.
Starting point is 00:37:32 That's not a tribe. Oh, that's not a tribe. Well, whose tribe is that? Well, that's like half and half. So there's, there's, I'm talking about the orange tribe or the teal tribe. I'm talking about Jonathan, Charlie,
Starting point is 00:37:52 Miller D, Rizzo, Surrey, and Devon. And Carolyn and Jesse Lopez. I just, I was like, damn, I'm, I'm smoking this episode. Now let me just say this, okay? Because y'all say y'all be wanting spicy, bricy back. Well, he is back. And I got a message to Jonathan.
Starting point is 00:38:12 Ooh. And Dee. Not too much on Jonathan. Okay. Because y'all quick to get together. Dee talk about my best friend. Who the best friend? Say the best friend named, Dee, because I want to know.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Mel. You talk about your best friend. She said it. Mel. It was Chanel? No, Mel. Mel. You know her?
Starting point is 00:38:38 She played the game? Why don't you know her? Oh, I mean, Jack, it's too early. It's too early. Well, listen. Dee and Jonathan coming together talking about we get a chance to get shrie off. We got to get her off.
Starting point is 00:38:54 And damn it, y'all is right. Okay? Listen, y'all is right. Listen, first of all, Queen Mother is Queen Mother, and I love my grocery, and I don't want to see her go.
Starting point is 00:39:07 But, And y'all keep, I'm being real. The posse keeps saying, tell me how you feel. I'm shocked. I'm shocked at Jonathan being like pulling D and Jonathan being like, well, well, Miss D. They say mis-s-a-misserie is real smart. Like, here's the thing. And this is why I love Survivor 50.
Starting point is 00:39:29 Let me just say this, because it's like you want to root. It's like watching as a fan and watching as a fan. As a fan, you love who you love no matter what. but also like as a fan it's like what would you do if you were out there and so it's like I begrudgingly agree with Dee and Jonathan like hey we're now on this tribe now and if we get the opportunity to take three out you're absolutely should and so that that is my hot take I agree now I don't agree but I do agree and again I you know
Starting point is 00:40:08 me and Jonathan we have our ups and downs like a ladder but I'm just stepping on a step stool Jonathan's locked in I mean I don't always agree with the dig but like Jonathan is on a path and I'm like okay I see you there so that that's just my take
Starting point is 00:40:28 is that like they are planning to gunn's three but I also look at them like and I know everyone says this but I also just feel like With Sarie in it, she's still a huge target. A huge target that I feel like right now in the game, I would still want in. Especially if you're D and you're the only winner left.
Starting point is 00:40:51 And we saw, I mean, we saw in real time the Surrey missed working. When D is sitting in confessual like, eyes sort of, not like, like sort of like kind of a look a look of love in her eye like admiration in her eyes as she's just giving confessional just like my friend mel told me i should get seri out but i love seri like just her realizing like i just love seri i can't do it it was very impressive but honestly yeah that's a good point like d just saw the other two winners go out back to back you know one one through a medevac but d could use some shields and the game. So, but I see what they're doing. And then let's mosey on down to the Honor and Integrity Alliance with Joe, Coach, and Colby, and mind you, child. Coach. Coach really going to go up to Joe and say, you're the reason I'm here. You say an honor and integrity. That's the table that I built on. you reinventing the table is why I'm here. And I'm like, when are people going to start seeing coach as coach is seri?
Starting point is 00:42:13 Because the way he's seri in the way of how he was talking to Joe. And Joe was like, he's the seri for old white dudes. Right. And like, Joe was eating it up. And I'm just like, well, okay, Joe. Because again, like, we know Joe's Achilles' heels, like, don't lie to him. But really the Achilles heel is like, don't lie and get caught. Because it's like, Joe, it's already questionable honor and integrity with coach from episode one in the key.
Starting point is 00:42:44 So the fact that coach is out here talking about honor and integrity and let's go. But again, Joe eats it up. And then they bring in Kobe. And then on the only other people, they bring in Chrissy. So now they have this alliance. And so it's interesting. interesting. But one of the things that I thought was even more interesting was when coach dropped the dime on Chrissy. And but it's like, but also and like we're like Christian
Starting point is 00:43:17 telling Emily on the mat. It's like coach, you just was on the trial with Chrissy. Okay. Y'all was working together. Y'all have plenty of time to talk. Like now is the time that you reveal to Chrissy. And my, I love how Coach did it. He said, he said, Chrissy, you do it too much it is. Cut it. Okay. Chris was like, what?
Starting point is 00:43:42 Coach, you're doing too much of this. It also just believes me that the fact that Coach didn't say that to Chrissy while Chrissy was on the tribe, if Chrissy's name came up. Yeah. And Coach ain't really have no move left. I don't, the honor might have been there, but the integrity might have been on a break and Chrissy might have been gone.
Starting point is 00:44:04 For sure, for sure. He needs her now. He got his three. He needs that four so he could. And he was like, you know what? This is how I'm going to do it. Now, do we recall Tyson having a similar conversation with coach? Yep.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Where he's like, coach, man, you got to chill with all of these fantastical stories or something. You got to take the feather out of your hair. your stories people don't believe them Tyson ain't do it right you know how Tyson should have said it to him no okay Jack coach you doing it
Starting point is 00:44:39 he kind of made a noise it was pretty condescending he was like too much yeah yeah yeah like also can we if coach if coach came up to me and said
Starting point is 00:44:55 Jack you're being a bit much I'm like, coach telling you that. The pot. Tai Chi, I'd be like, I'm doing too much. And you're going to tell her with Colby right there? Like, it's like, but again, then. Well, Colby was probably like, true of that.
Starting point is 00:45:17 One plus one equals more of the greatest stories. Hulu on Disney Plus. Stories about survivors. The most dangerous planet. Family. Retribution. Prophecy. Beer and propane.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Bobby Miller. Blake Pantha. The final of their boots. The ultimate soldier. Chicago, all right. The best of the best stories now with even more from Hulu. Amazing. Have it all with 3-1 Disney Plus.
Starting point is 00:45:49 But we see the resilience of Christy, and we see Christy talking about, we see Christy with Genevieve and Aubrey. You're talking about, listen, I had to get a vasectomy. my organs removed. I didn't sweat that. But coming back out on this game,
Starting point is 00:46:08 it seems like it's always an uphill battle for me. And just to see that, because it's like, first of all, I know they say that, I love you, Chrissy. Every time you're on my screen, I love your sister. I feel like you don't talk enough, in my opinion. But it's just so interesting to see her receive that. And again, when you think about Survivor,
Starting point is 00:46:29 and it is just a game. But in that real moment and where we know Chrissy's been so vulnerable about what she had went through and spreading awareness because people need to know this and get tested and like to know that that life threatening,
Starting point is 00:46:45 she was like, this is a cakewalk. I got this. Let's go. But to be told on Survivor that like you talk like, I don't know, it's just kind of like, I feel like life always revert you back to 7th fifth grade at the lunchroom table and it's like us to need.
Starting point is 00:46:59 to just want to like, and Chrissy ain't doing nothing but being a mom and trying to take care of people and it's just like that slap in the face. But I feel like she got that slap in the face and now I feel like Chrissy about to be a problem. I feel like Chrissy, that's all Chrissy needed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Yeah, and it's tough too. It was sad because like we talked about last episode, all we really saw when they're like, when I think it was Charlie's conventioner was like, Charlie being like, I like Chrissy, but a lot of people think she's doing too. much and just cuts to her being like, I didn't want to go get fire with me. It's like, she didn't do anything.
Starting point is 00:47:35 She didn't really do anything wrong. So it's not like she's being like malicious or rude. It's just, like you said, she's got a little bit of mom energy. And yeah, I don't know. I also last night live, John Lovett was on, was brought up first. And he was commenting on, on coaches like discussion with Chrissy. and it was hilarious, but he was basically, he was pretty much just about he made me
Starting point is 00:48:02 like, in his coach impression, John was like, Chris, you just, you're just being a woman. And the people were not liking it. And John was just like roasting coach in that squad. It was, it was really, really funny. Because that's kind of what it was given.
Starting point is 00:48:23 And again, that, and that list, that, that's the thing. It's like a double-edged shore where it's like it is entertaining to watch and we love, but like sometimes there are some underdome
Starting point is 00:48:38 that are there. But I do also want to talk about Genevieve and Aubrey. And like Genevieve, we're seeing the evolution of 2.0, Genevieve, where we saw her last her last time she played. and she maybe wasn't as open and willing to work with people.
Starting point is 00:49:01 And so now we see her going to the... We see her trying. We see her trying. And she's, hey, I want to work with you. Hey, I want to be open. And we're like, oh, we love this. But it's like also under the guise of just the one person I really messing with. And it also is interesting of like Genevieve telling the story of her at Aubrey.
Starting point is 00:49:25 Now, correct me if I'm wrong, she was just like, I wanted to work with Aubrey, and Aubrey was like, I ain't really feeling you, girl. I got to see what's up, which I got to, like, what game are you playing? Well, yes. But it seemed like Genevieve might put a little syracia sauce on the plate and telling these people. But again, I'm not mad because it's like, hey, you got to, you got to give a little. And again, when I talk about checking the vibe, seeing the situation, we know Aubrey ain't no dummy. all we've been chilling around camp.
Starting point is 00:50:00 They then later, we see Genevieve talking to Tiff. And my, first of all, first of all, let me just show you this. If you don't got a black woman in your life, get you, get you a black girlfriend. Get you a black girlfriend. Get you a black home girl. Okay? Because Tiffany, we ain't seen much of Tiffany just yet. We just received.
Starting point is 00:50:31 Symphony mind her business. Okay. Tiffany cleaning the pot. Tiffany walking. Okay, but that would be me. Genevieve come up to Tiffany like, hey, girl, what's up?
Starting point is 00:50:40 Cindy like, hey, what's going on? Genevieve, like, we good. Tip, like, we good. What's up, girl? Danny, like, all right, we locked in. Tiffany's like, we locked in. Genevine like, but girl, let me just keep, let me just tell you something.
Starting point is 00:50:53 Like, what's up? Genevieve, like, you got a little time. Tiffany, like, I got all the time of the world. What's up? Genevvie, like, keep, Y'all Aubrey, girl, she ain't want to be trusted. Tiffany said, what? Timmy said, listen, keep your eye.
Starting point is 00:51:08 And if we got to go, can I count on you? Tiffany said, sign me up. Let's go. Two seconds later. Okay, Tiffany came with the pot, okay? Tiffany's still had the pot in her ear. She said, she said, hey, girl. Aubrey's like, what's her?
Starting point is 00:51:27 I mean, like, what's you doing? Tip me, like, I'm cleaning this pot. But I got something to put in this pot, girl. They're coming for you. And Aubrey's like, I knew it. Well, girl, yes, we know you knew it because you started the game off like how you play it. But the reassurance of Tiffany being like, I'm not really sure. And again, mind you, Tiffany's keeping her options open because Tiffany said to Genevieve, hey girl, sign me up.
Starting point is 00:51:58 But she's going to Aubrey and say, Aubrey, listen, girl, I bond with you, we vibe, and let's go get them. And we see Aubrey being like, now I have my number, like, I have somebody. And so like, for me, it's just seeing the people, the vibe check, the Emily flipping. We see it, these threads throughout the tribes. We see it with Jonathan and Dee. We see it with Tiffany and Aubrey. We see it with Emily and everybody over there.
Starting point is 00:52:24 And so it's like these brewings that I'm really excited for us. But again, just shout up Tiffany from just being like, Get you a real home girl. We love Tiffany over here. Yeah. I thought it was great from Tiffany because we see this majority forming. Maybe a majority that's not going to be Tiffany's best group. We haven't seen them approach Tiffany.
Starting point is 00:52:47 Yeah, exactly. So one could only believe. Exactly. And then it's like, okay, I think they're met. I could see Tiffany and Genevieve clicking, but also, you know, you get, all these people come to you with an overwhelming. And I think Tiffany might have said it in our own words of like, if this is the best thing for everybody else or like everybody else wants this person out,
Starting point is 00:53:10 then it's probably not the best thing for me. And so I just love that Tiffany was able to go have that conversation with Aubrey. A lot of times people will have that conversation. It will sort of flip back on them in some ways or they'll kind of isolate themselves. But now, right now it seems like Tiffany in kind of good with both. And we know Aubrey has an idol. so I just love Tiffany taking the game into her own hands and saying this is who I want to work with.
Starting point is 00:53:32 I don't really care about the greater vibe or whatever it may be. There's a long game ahead. But she did it in a way that was very subtle and went just to Aubrey and like, hey girl, let's figure this out. And to that same point, the Genevieve montage of her going around
Starting point is 00:53:52 to people and just being like, just so you know, like I want to work with you, but Aubrey and I. It was kind of reminiscent of, Edge of Extinction when Aubrey was going around to people. Let's start a dialogue. Oh, Jack. Oh, Jack.
Starting point is 00:54:06 That's a good. Deep cut. And it wasn't as when that dialogue conversation, they really kind of like made her look foolish. This one, it wasn't like, I don't think made Genevieve look like a bad player. But I will say,
Starting point is 00:54:23 I think Genevie's been playing well so far, but I also think you come to this new beach and you go to everybody with this info that is essentially putting the target on somebody else before you guys have ever lost a tribal. You know if you tell every single other person that information is probably going to get back
Starting point is 00:54:43 to Aubrey. And then now there's plenty of time for things to, you know, she's probably going to target Genevieve. And now there's plenty of time for things to switch around. So I just think Genevieve was actually a little bit like overzealous and trying to like loop everybody in. And maybe she got that confidence from VATU because it feels like she was in a really good spot on Vatou.
Starting point is 00:55:03 But it's like, look, Genevieve, if you see Colby, coach and Joe are all vibing together and they're, kind of with you like, yeah, we don't really trust Aubrey.
Starting point is 00:55:13 Just make that your four and let that simmer for a second. You know what I mean? And build those other relationships. But I think you got to go and throw out everyone's name right away. You know what I mean? I agree I think she was going a little hard I think it's like
Starting point is 00:55:30 I think you went from zero to 100 from your last season to this season I think you know we want to see you bonding with these people but it seems it seems so like regimented and like it's like a script
Starting point is 00:55:47 almost instead of like you work you working in really with these people so that's what scares me about Genevieve here's what I would say to that and hear me out I do agree
Starting point is 00:56:00 it was a bit a lot but I also felt like she knew what audience she was going to right and so like I don't think it was a lot to coach I don't see coach going to Aubrey right like I don't see like I think and I'm just specifically talking about
Starting point is 00:56:17 like coach and Kobe I don't I think she would do the right thing to the audience because again in the tone in which she went to Tiffany was different than the tone that she went to Aubrey and to Joe. I mean, to
Starting point is 00:56:32 all be a coach. But my other question is to Joe, though, right? Listen, first of all, we love Joe. And also, also, so nobody was going to tell me that Joe is on a Tyler Perry show.
Starting point is 00:56:50 Okay? Windle and J.D., shout out to J.D. told this to me yesterday and I said well where was the news conference where was the news press at Windows like he's been posting about it Yes yes
Starting point is 00:57:06 I'll speak for myself I said Bryce You love this man It's been all over his Instagram He's literally been rolling it out And announcing it all over his Instagram To which Bryce Isaiah says I said well ain't he a fireman
Starting point is 00:57:25 I thought he was just posting photos with his co-workers. I didn't know. He said, I thought he was at work. I thought they were showing him love because he was on the season. I mean, fair enough, I guess. You got to read the captions, I guess. Read one sentence. Read one sentence.
Starting point is 00:57:47 I also was like, y'all using some real high quality gear. It's like, ain't there some fires? Like, y'all posing a lot. I did think that to myself, but I was just like, Joe was daddy. He looked good. So congratulations to Joe and Tyler Perry. But, yeah. To your point about Genevieve, though, you say, saying like she's knowing her audience,
Starting point is 00:58:10 but when you kind of go to everybody with the same spiel, and it only lands with some of the people. That's not really knowing your audience, that's like you tell everybody and it hits with some, it hits with others. Knowing your audience will be like, I'm going to go tell this to coach. in not to TIF, but telling it to Tiff is like, well, then you didn't know your audience.
Starting point is 00:58:29 But if she doesn't tell it to Tiff, then it leaves, like, like, I feel like, you're right, but for the numbers, for the three it needs to work with, I feel like I don't think it was overbearing. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:58:44 the issue is when you, it was for other people, right? For Tiff, but it wasn't, but it was, but it wasn't. But, like, yeah. I mean I don't think like Genevies
Starting point is 00:58:55 like doomed by any means although I could see if this group goes to tribal Aubrey I can see them playing an idol and voting out Genevieve my one thing I just want to say and like I said before congratulations Joe
Starting point is 00:59:10 but listen I love me Joe Joe Joe is Eddie but listen I'm gonna keep it real here we talk of honor and integrity and we just saw you on that other tribe with Rick Devin in Surrey, and it is looking like on this tribe, Aubrey is the Joe.
Starting point is 00:59:31 And so for me, it's like, well, what Aubrey do to you? Like, why are you like, where's, where's the honor and integrity there? Should you maybe like, should there may be a little al-a-bra? Like, I don't know. That's just what I was thinking. I was thinking maybe, and maybe we will see. But Joe just coming from that tribe where he felt like, hey, hey, hey, somebody, y'all out here lying.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Which one is lying? And now for you to just come on a tribe, you don't even know Aubrey. You're just taking the words like, so for me, I just was like, now, wait a minute, Joe. That don't seem fair. And I feel like fair is under honor. So I am hoping that at some point in time,
Starting point is 01:00:15 maybe we see a Joe and all. Like, again, so maybe you are right, Jack, where it's like Genevieve is doing a lot because I just personally felt like, well, Joe's not even giving her. her chance. Who, Aubrey? Yes.
Starting point is 01:00:26 Well, but that's why that was actually good from Genevieve because she gets that she if you know Joe and you could be like, you'd plant the seed, Aubrey's not the most trustworthy. Joe's going to be like, all right, I'll never speak a word to her ever.
Starting point is 01:00:40 So that's the right the right way to do that for Genevieve. So that was the right audience. Yeah, but when you tell everyone the same thing, you're not like gauging an audience. You're just telling everybody. So some people are going to like it and some people aren't, but when people don't like it is a problem.
Starting point is 01:00:57 Okay. You know what I mean? Can we go? Go ahead. Wherever you want to go. I was going to say, I was going to pivot over to the orange stride. Who was that?
Starting point is 01:01:10 Chris Underwood, Jake, and Jay Maya. And Zeefoo, yeah. No, it's Charlie, Jonathan, Camilla, D. Rizzo, Surrey, and Devin's. here I was thinking we were about to have an all-time white boy link up.
Starting point is 01:01:31 As you can imagine, I was excited. My guys. I was like, where's it with Charlie? I mean, jump on. Jack, where is my bucket of water? Okay. Jack, where's your tan cargo shorts and your flip-flops getting wet? I like that.
Starting point is 01:01:55 It was more like it was a potential bromance. You know, I love a bromance. I was like, we might be able to add Rizzo to the Fortnite squad.
Starting point is 01:02:07 You know, like he's probably on the game. And then that, that excitement lasted about 30 seconds because then we get this epic. I mean, Charlie, this was like, from both the seasons,
Starting point is 01:02:21 these were all-time Charlie moments of what's a dark Taylor Swift album to the Swifties okay because we we got the dark we're in a breakup Taylor Swift album Bad blood Bad okay
Starting point is 01:02:34 I liked it I liked it I liked it Well you gotta say that Otherwise Charlie gonna Slit your throat So yeah We see them in the hammock
Starting point is 01:02:50 And Rizzo's given Charlie some info he sees Charlie as a potential asset. And Charlie, like, seems he's nodded along. And then he almost just has, like, I saw people say it looked like he just got back from, like, Vietnam. You just like eyes, a thousand yards stare. And in his confession, he's like, Rizzo said something last night. I could never work with him.
Starting point is 01:03:15 And then we get like the cut, the flashback. And we see Rizzo talking about, A, you know, his, his 49 experience, but also we see him being like, so Charlie, do you still talk to Maria? And then we even have the moment of like when someone was like, oh, did you feel bad? Because like you cost your ally the game. Or he was like, no, it wasn't a Charlie and Maria's situation. Like she wouldn't have won anyways or whatever. And Charlie just sitting there just blank.
Starting point is 01:03:45 You know, Charlie's a pretty friendly guy. You can just see the steam kind of coming out of his ears. It was wild. I didn't really know what to think of like Rizzo's side of things because it was all sort of unknowingly doing this stuff. And also what he said about Sophie and Savannah, it seemed like because ultimately Rizzo sort of did vote for his number one. I think maybe in this conversation he was downplaying his connection to Savannah
Starting point is 01:04:17 because even though she had already been voted out, I'm guessing early on he had downplayed it so he just felt like maybe he had to be consistent with that. That's my guess. But he obviously was also close with Sophie. And then Charlie, it's just sort of like, you know, good survivor, like on paper, good survivor would be to just get over it.
Starting point is 01:04:40 But you know it hits so hard for Charlie that is like you totally understand. And I think Bryce, you had maybe mentioned, one of you guys mentioned this like in our preseason of maybe he would not. work with, like he would argue with Chrissy because she was like sort of that Maria archetype. And so to just see Charlie like fully embracing his trauma was incredible. In communities across Canada, hourly Amazon employees earn an average of over $24.50 an hour.

Learn more at aboutamazon.ca. Hold on. We got a FaceTime. I think we should just take it. Sir, I'm on the pod right now, but I want to show my people you real quick. What's up? I'm in your home city. Bryce left though, Saul. For those listening, this is our good friend, Saul. Yeah. Yeah. Zaddy wasn't in town, so I booked it. Okay. I came to OKC for the Zaddy.
Starting point is 01:06:10 We miss you, man. Your home, your home city is great. But you guys, they represented, they came out. Yes, they were great. Yes, so much love. We will definitely be back. I will be there with Christina and two more people that we are trying to find. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:31 Thank you for. No. Manila, where are you saw? I'm in the lovely state of Connecticut. Oh, that's where Jack's mom is. Were you at the Traders Open casting call? Dog, that's why I don't need to go to the casting. Oh.
Starting point is 01:06:50 Well, so apparently to a lot of people, Jack don't text back, but they send in their application. It's true. It's true. What could I say? Hey, I'm honored right now to even be on this podcast right now. So thank you very much. And you are always on this podcast. Stop playing.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Yeah, you can always In the 405, you have my word. I will be there. We got to get you on the pod full-blown one episode, too. Please. I would love it. Guys, you guys are my boys, man.
Starting point is 01:07:25 What are we waiting on? Quick question, quick question, Saul. Any brief thoughts about last night's episode? I thought it was, I thought one and two were awesome. I thought three was not as good. but it's setting up for an awesome four and five with all the tea that we heard from everybody that the game's about to get really get going.
Starting point is 01:07:48 That's what I think. What do you guys think? Is that an accurate statement? I'd agree with that. I think it is about to heat up. I'm still just salty to see Q off my screen, bro. Yeah, me too. Me too.
Starting point is 01:08:02 I feel you on that. But I get the move. I get the move. Yeah. The David versus Goliath thing. That's a huge alliance right there. They got lucky with the swap. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:15 Do you think Emily made the right decision going with that three or should she have tried to split that up real quick? I think Emily, whatever she decides to do is the right decision because that girl is smart and she knows how to manipulate some people. I mean, you can see it in her eyes the way she's playing the game. She even got, she even spilled the beans for Christian's play and then ultimately got Christian and be like, it's all good, girl,
Starting point is 01:08:40 don't even worry about it. And that was true too. So Emily flipping is on 50 for a reason. I agree. Well, so, thank you, man. Thanks for checking us. Yeah, we will see you soon, Zaddy. All right, bro.
Starting point is 01:08:56 Thanks for you. Please, bro. What are you saying, Jack? What was I? Basically, Charlie, like, just fully embracing his bitterness. And I, it was just, it was like a, uh, dark side of Charlie that like, you know, season 46, he was a young Anakin.
Starting point is 01:09:22 And I feel like Charlie. Yeah. And now he's slowly, um, shifting into Darth Vader. And it's almost like, I almost feel like he's project. Anyone who reminds him of Maria or anyone who reminds of like a younger him. He's like just get rid of it. I think they're doing a really good job with this edit because there are people that try to evolve their games and they edit them to just look bad. But in this case, in Charlie's
Starting point is 01:09:52 case, it's like an evolution into this person. And I like this. It's not even an evolution. For me, it's a trauma. Like, it's a real trauma. Like, he trusted Maria. He is hurt by it. And it's like it doesn't necessarily. And like Charlie even said, it's like, I don't know if this is a good game or not, but this is how I'm feeling. This is where I'm at in the moment. We see it with Joe.
Starting point is 01:10:16 We see Joe. And like, even with the Rick Devon's thing, where Joe is constantly saying like, hey, they gave me a wedgie on live TV. And so this is, while I wasn't so hype to have so many new era people, the trauma for us is so fresh.
Starting point is 01:10:36 And it's like, it's relatable because it's like we know it. But also it's the same thing. Ozzy and coach, right? We might not remember it as much. Jenna Lewis. Like, you know, like, and so it's almost like the survivor trauma. And as former survivors, we all go through it, whether it's the edit, whether it's what happened to you. And so for us to actually see it in real time where for Charlie, it's like, I don't know if it's good for my game.
Starting point is 01:11:02 But this is where I'm at right now in life. And it's not Charlie. It's C. David. or see murder. And so I, I, yeah, yes, see murder, Esquire. Like, it's, I don't know, it's, it's beyond the game where it's like,
Starting point is 01:11:18 he has a visceral reaction. And he's like, I can't not touch it because it is so sensitive. And so it is so interesting to see like, Arizzo just loving the game and being like, this is who I voted for. And like, he was the Maria of this. And like, Charlie like, you just say, it is an interesting.
Starting point is 01:11:36 component of Rizzo's fandom and his position in this game that I did not think about it all of Rizzo is such an earnest fan I'm sure he's asking all these people about like their games and looking at it as like a fan but you know if he ends up on a beach with coach and he's grilling coach about like coach why didn't Ozzy vote for you
Starting point is 01:12:03 coach might be like like, just like, Rizzo, stop. Rizzo, too much of this. Rizzo, you sound like Chrissy right now. But, but no, it's definitely an interesting, it's just like a conversation. I mean, especially with the, obviously it can really only happen on these returning player seasons,
Starting point is 01:12:24 but this is like a type of conversation we haven't really even seen on any of those. And where it's a game of, we're talking about slunk and strategic. And I feel like now 50, they're finally allowing that third element that has always been there of like trauma, emotion of the actual game. It now is a factor in this bin diagram of Survivor 50.
Starting point is 01:12:50 And I think that that is such a great nuance to it because it's like sometimes we know these beefs exist and like we know like, oh yeah, I know Wendell don't like Kelly Rowland. and it's like, well, why don't you like Kelly Rowland? And now it's like, not only do we see why you don't like Kelly Rowland, now you're on a tribe with somebody that's like a Kelly Rowland. Now you're on the tribe with Latavia from the old, like, that's reminding you of it. So it's very unique and very like nuanced.
Starting point is 01:13:20 So I love to see. And it just adds so much different layers to the game. What do you think about them flashing back to White Lotus, Angelina? Well, well, because that's another thing I'm going to. great promo, but I also want to talk about the White Lotus effect. And I wanted to talk about the White Lotus effect and how it played into Q's demands, right?
Starting point is 01:13:48 Because we see the David First Goliath, alliance, and we see, they're kind of sort of working together. We see that Q's name is being mentioned, not by Mike White, but by like Angelina and then when they're all together
Starting point is 01:14:08 and Mike White starts pitching the name, Hugh, I think it adds something different because let's be honest every player that is on Survivor they want to be on White Lotus in the press for Survivor
Starting point is 01:14:25 there's a whole article of how Mike White on season 50 how it changed the next season of White Lotus, how what the impact of 50 did. So there is a part of me that like people want to work with Mike White.
Starting point is 01:14:41 What do you mean how it changed the? Like he just, he talked about how his experience on season 50, how it is going to play out in how whatever he went through you know, like as a writer, you go through a breakup, you put it in your music.
Starting point is 01:14:57 Like he's just saying like the experience of 50 he put it into White Lotus, which has always been embedded in it. So it's just like, the White Lotus and Survivor. And so now you have the creator. And now if he come to me and I'm saying, Jack, he come to me. I ain't going to why not him. I ain't going to go to him.
Starting point is 01:15:17 And he comes to me and say, it's Wendell. I'm like, well, shit, me and Wendell's going to Nashville last week. But, but I. Okay. Like, and so that's a real thing that, like, I, like, why I love Mike White on the show, but I also feel like, And again, showing the fact that you had Angelina every season, you've had people on White Lotus.
Starting point is 01:15:40 And it wasn't until the people were saying, well, you ain't had no black people on when you have Davey. And then you got Natalie and Uncle Carl, I'm going to say it. I love Mike White, but I'm just saying it. So it's just like people know someone from this season will be on 50. And so like, is it going to, White Lotus? Is it going to be an adversary or is it going to be somebody that was working with him? Or an enemy.
Starting point is 01:16:01 today or tomorrow. Yeah. Yeah, it's kind of like in 49 when Jeff was like, you guys are playing for a spot on season 50. We still got spots open. Mike's like, you guys are playing for a spot on the White Lotus, so don't vote me out. Or work with me like that influence.
Starting point is 01:16:23 Yeah. And so like, they're outside. Mike, White is like the Suria that tribe. It's like, it's a weird position. Like, because when he has his eyes on someone, there's this extra factor. There's this extra factor that they're like, you know what, let's rock with him.
Starting point is 01:16:49 Uh-oh. I got a hot take. Uh-oh. And y'all tell me what y'all think. Like, I love Mike White and I love it. But y'all know who my man, my man, my man, my man, my man, my man, my man. my man my man from season 45 was, right? Austin.
Starting point is 01:17:08 Austin Lecun. And he's not, he wasn't eligible to be in the mix of 50 because because why? I have had a long talk and I had, I decided that I had to evolve and I had to just, I, I needed time and space. And so I ended that with Austin. And given Austin was hurt, he was a lot. I had going on with that.
Starting point is 01:17:34 But again, I ended at him and I are still friends. We're still cool. His mom is like, you know, all of that. And so he, you know, he did what he had to do. He had to find new love. And I'm fine with that because I let him go.
Starting point is 01:17:48 But he is with Jeff's prope's beautiful niece. And he couldn't be considered because it's a conflict of interest. Okay. Well, Jeff and Mike White is real cool. Mike White a producer. y'all doing cross promotion for the white for the white lotus is is that not a conflict of interest we were talking about this last night
Starting point is 01:18:13 I told Austin I was like awesome you was like awesome you was well you was well Austin and Amanda yeah I did sorry to bring that up real quick Jack who you think look better I mean you know he said between him and Amanda even Amanda. It's hard to pick. Amanda is beautiful. I love Amanda.
Starting point is 01:18:36 I love I love her mother. But we were kind of talking about that. And I was just like, but someone brought up like, well, Jeff cast his friend. So I was like, awesome. You have to work your way up in Jeff's eyes from Amanda's boyfriend because that's a conflict of interest. You just have to become friends with Jeff through that. And then you'll be good. You can be back on the show.
Starting point is 01:18:57 And it won't matter. Because if you're Jeff's boy, it's. It's fine. I mean, Boston Rob gets the invite every season. But, yeah, I don't say, like, I love Mike White on here. I think, great, I'm just bringing up the conversation because I just, yeah. Because it does, am I being to do sway the game? And I do feel like Angelina and Christian aren't really that good friends.
Starting point is 01:19:20 And I feel like Mike White is the glue to that. Yeah. I mean, no, it's a factor I think everyone was aware of coming in. like you now I think Mike would respect some gameplay but also you know he usually puts the people that he's close with from his season on the show on White Lotus so if you swap over with Mike and you're like let's go for Mike I don't know if that's really going to give you the time to bond um yeah it's it's such an interesting like meta factor I feel like once they get to the merge and everyone gets to know him a little bit hopefully it'll sort of
Starting point is 01:19:57 of that factor will dissolve a little bit. But I can very well see a world where Mike White gets like second place because no one wants to vote him out, but then no one wants to give him a million bucks because he's already doing pretty well for himself. But Mike's a player. He's a guy like, we'll see y'all with shaking bait.
Starting point is 01:20:14 I love Mike, so I don't mind like, you know, whatever we got to, whatever keeps Mike around for a while is okay with me, you know. He was so funny. I mean, that is confessional where he's like, when Q told him to vote for him and Mike's like, that's perfect.
Starting point is 01:20:33 Yeah, that sounds good to me. What's what Q telling people to vote? We know Q's chaotic, obviously, but like what even is the strategy? Like, he wants to protect Stephanie, but Q, we need to get this out of Q's arsenal. Okay? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Q. You? Quentavius. Burdette. And, we may or may not see you within the week's time, okay? You might have called me today, but, Hugh, we love you.
Starting point is 01:21:09 You're going to hold your hand, we'll hold his hand. Hold his hand. Quintavius, we love you. We're going to see you on our TVs again in some capacity on one of these shows. And three episodes ain't bad. Traders. Get on traitors.
Starting point is 01:21:26 we need to tell you, Quintavius Burdette, do not tell people to write your name down anymore. Get that out of your arsenal. It is not it. It ain't it. It ain't working for you. We love you. We want you to win the game. But if you can't win the game, we want you to go far in the game.
Starting point is 01:21:55 and when people start seeing your name, even if you escaped being voted out last night, when people start seeing your name on parchment, it is a slippery slope, my brother. So from the bottom of the Survivor News Hearts, I'm going to pass the mic to my brother Bryce. And the last thing that I say in this heartfelt eulogy is I think,
Starting point is 01:22:22 because we will see you on our screen again. is no doubt to that. My advice, one three episode to another three episodes, start using the name Quintavius. Because it's so easy just to write the letter. That's just from three
Starting point is 01:22:43 episodes to three episodes. That's it. But we love you, brother. Amen. Amen. This podcast is so all over the place. Okay. I'm just picture of my reaction of Genevieve to Tiffany. Jack talked about his white boy a lion. Saw randomly calling.
Starting point is 01:23:12 Okay. Sorry. And then we just prayed with Patapius. Survivor News, we're on all three cylinders this season. Stop playing with his posse. Tell a friend and tell a friend about Survivor News. because spicy, Brycey is back.
Starting point is 01:23:29 Wendell is half sleep. Jack is dressing for the occasion. Come on. Your favorite Survivor's favorite podcast. That's it. But listen, it's a great episode. Unlike Saul, I thought three was just as dynamic
Starting point is 01:23:52 as the other ones. In different ways. But again, with all of these, we're talking to Survivor. or trauma. We're talking like, I thought it was spectacular. But I am excited to see what episode four and episode five will give. I appreciate
Starting point is 01:24:06 the baby boys, Wendy Z, and Jack for always stepping up and stepping in. We'll be back next week, cover episode four. We will be in Nashville. Ozzie will be in San Diego. Tickets are available. Click the link in this YouTube bio now. And we'll
Starting point is 01:24:24 see you next week. My name ain't Emily, but I'm damn sure flipping. See ya. It's the purple pants. It's a purple pants. It's a purple pants. You better get your headphones and listen up quick.
Starting point is 01:24:40 It's the purple pants podcast. You better listening in public might make your stomach hurt. It's a purple pants podcast. She's trying to unwind. You better get that box wine. It's a purple pants podcast. You're trying to get your snack. You better hurry right back.
Starting point is 01:24:56 Go. It's the purple pants. It's a purple pants. pants.
