Rob Sestranino back for the post-game show after episode number 10 of Survivor 47.

And I am thrilled tonight. We've got a great guest to talk about everything that's going on here in Survivor. Great Q Burdette is here. Q, how are you? What's up, man? I'm excited to be here. I cannot believe 10 episodes have already passed.

Like, this season is flying by. It's been amazing. I'm loving it. But, you know, Rob, before I knew about your podcast, I did a Qmeo. Yes. And you remember what I told you? When I come on your podcast,

there's no no no Rob has a podcast. Now we changing the letters to Q-H-A-P and it stands for Q Hijack a stands for Q Hijacked A Podcast. Okay. All right. So what do I have to do now?

You're taking over, so I just get to answer your questions? Well, no, because I didn't prepare that way. Who's changing the picture? Okay. But I do have questions of my own. Like, for one, how do I get my screen to look like yours?

Dude, you look crystal clear. Yeah. Look, people would probably prefer it if your screen looked better than mine. That's why I want it to look better than yours. So tell me, how do I do it? Give me the equipment that you have behind you. Yeah. Okay, that I can tell you that we could talk about that offline.

We don't need to bore everybody with the technical details on that. But, yeah, that we can do. How's everything going with you? Q's a new dad since the last time we spoke. New dad. And let me just tell you, Ace has been amazing. He's growing way too fast. He ate applesauce and pears today.

This is his third day trying real food. He's tried more fruit than Sam. Literally, yes. He's had kiwi already. He's had apples, oranges. Sam, how are you in your late 20s, maybe early 30s, and you haven't had kiwi?

Where's this guy from? Come on. Look it up. Tennessee, I think. Well, I'm from Mississippi. I live in Tennessee. He can't be from Tennessee. He might live in Tennessee,

but he ain't from there. Yeah. We got to figure that out. How's everything else going, Q? It is going it is going awesome. I cannot complain. I'm having fun with just events. You know, we had a survivor coming to Oxford last week. New dad, just experiencing all those things. My wife and I, we moved, bought another house. So just get everything in this space. What a year. Yeah, it was crazy.

How's the Qmeos going? So I had to pause on the Qmeo. Yeah. So I was getting a lot of requests, which I did 400 requests in one month. It was ridiculous. But then my real business started to pick up again, like it always had. And then one of my houses burned down. Oh, my God. Yeah. I was tending to that and dealing with this, and it became a mess. So I was like, okay, I got to prioritize the time. And I want the cumulos to be awesome, and I can't dedicate that much time to them.

But I'm still getting requests, and I do them every now and then awesome. And I can't dedicate that much time to them. But I'm still giving requests. And I do them every now and then. But sometimes I let them expire. Okay, holidays are coming up. Oh, yeah. Let me just tell you this. Thanksgiving, I won't make a big mistake and turn my cumulos off. They're going to be on in full effect.

Black Friday. Black Friday sale. Q Friday. Get a cumulo. Cumulo Friday. All about Friday. Q Friday. Get a Qmeo. Qmeo on Friday. I do them on Friday. So who's running the survivor charts if you're not at the top? That is a good question.

I think Boston Rob, I think Coach, and one other person has kind of been in that top. But they don't have anything else to do, right? No, I'm joking. They're just crushing it again. But see, when you bring it up like that, you're going to make me go back in my bed. You're going to make me put a post out there and get back on the Qmeo game like I should.

Okay. All right. I can't get that number one spot. You're like Gabe. Youo game like I should. Okay. All right. I can't get that number one spot. You're like Gabe. You're like, I'll be back. Gabe, you won't be back. I don't know. I don't know.

You never know. Gabe might be back. You know, season 50 is around the corner. Gabe might be the person that pros were talking about from 47. I don't know. All right. Well, let's talk about, all right, Gabe ends up going out here tonight. And so Gabe, it was really interesting. It was like between Gabe and Genevieve. And it's like, okay, well, it's good. It's going to be one of us.

I was saying like, like, Hey, like, uh, let's just, let's work together. Let's let's make, let's work together. Let's make sure, let's both stay because whoever goes home is probably going to go out next. Yeah, but Rob, it's only two of them. If they decide, hey, let's work together and the other seven still want one of them two out, guess what? One of them is going home.

So the best bet is to just vote for each other. Q, I was surprised about how badly things blew up for Genevieve after the Saul vote last week, because I really felt like that, okay, this was a good move for Genevieve because that Saul was not like the biggest threat. She said, Saul is like a sneaky threat, like a middle threat. And so let's take out Saul. But it feels like you'd do anything now. It's like, oh, that person just did a thing. All right. They got to go. Yep. And for me, see, I think it was a big deal with Tini because she was left out. But what folks don't understand is it's very hard to include everybody in a vote. If that's the case,

everybody just raise their hand at tribal and say, hey, I'm voting for this person. Let's have an open conversation. And if you're going to jump on board, that's not how it works. You know, plans get shifted. And Tina, you heard about potentially there was going to be votes on Saul. Sam came to him and told him what was going on. The thought of you had Genevieve who blindsided you at the Crescian boat.

Why do you think she's going to be honest with you? You know, what did you expect from her? And I guess because they got close, she wanted more out of it. But yeah, Teenie was very emotional about the whole thing. She again, I don't know how much we could say that this is actually how Teenie felt. But Teenie says to Genevieve that, oh, you did this just to humiliate me. You voted out Saul just to embarrass me. Yeah, and I don't think that's what Genevieve was doing at all.

No. For her game, she has. But see, here's the thing. It's hard to believe when you're out there on the island that, hey, this person has really been on my radar for X amount of days when you're living it. But we're watching it. We see.

We know Genevieve wants Saul out of this game. But Teenie doesn't. So now Teenie is like, you did this for me. And it was really just for her game. It probably was the best move for her game personally. And she was able to separate the personal relationship that she had with Tini from her game moving forward in a positive way that she thought was best for her. That's all that matters. To me, I feel like that Genevieve and Tini are just completely the opposite. I feel

like that Tini seems like that this is all, like, I have to play this game emotionally. Even though Teenie said that that's, like, they're kryptonite. They didn't want to play that way. And Genevieve is, like, completely the opposite. Like, there's no emotion from Genevieve. Genevieve is cutthroat. Listen, you want a Genevieve somewhere on your tribe, in your life,

somewhere near you. Because when you go to business and get taken care of, oh, she going to take care of. And she taking care of it often. You know, she ain't making no big mistakes. Let me just tell you, she is putting names down and folks are leaving this iron. And for her to push that song vote out of literally nowhere last week

and then this week be able to just stay calm. She didn't want to poke out as much. She was just going with the plans. Oh, my God, save me, save me, save me. I think she did the right thing. But do you feel like that the Saul vote, I mean, based on how it worked out, was a big mistake? No, I don't.

I don't think she made a mistake voting Saul. Because, I mean, do I think Saul was truly going to work with? Probably not. Like, literally, probably not. He's probably, Saul was the type of player, he's going to play, he's a thinker, he's smart. He's going to do what gets him to the end of the game. And Genevieve is the same way. Yeah, I feel like that for Genevieve, it was a good idea to get rid of Saul.

But I think that it kind of blew up in her face a little bit last week with when, okay, then they went to Andy and then she went to, to Rachel and then Rachel went to Sam and then everything got exposed. And it was a lot of like, whose idea is this? Who came up with this idea? And then it ended up being like a big mess and that Jen and people like it was Genevieve, but if it happened cleanly, I think it would have been fine. I think so as well. But see, if it happened cleanly, now Teenie is really in her emotions because she knows nothing about it. So she got back to camp and wondering, who did it? Who's playing? Oh, it's Genevieve. Genevieve versus now she had an opportunity. Okay, it was Genevieve.

She had time to process. She had time to get back to camp. Think about it a lot longer. But still, she was emotional about it so i can only imagine if it would have truly truly been just oh wow it happened and she found out after man this episode would have been all teeny crying cute is genevieve going out next from the looks of it it depends if cow If Kyle loses, they will vote Kyle. I think. I mean, if you don't, you're crazy. But if Kyle wins, I think Genevieve, because at the end,

I thought this little five-person alliance was kind of smart. I'm not sure who's the brains behind it just yet. It looks like it's Sam. And I want to talk about Sam here shortly, but it looks like if it's not Kyle, it's Genevieve. And what Genevieve needs to do is pray and hope that somebody can win

immunity or she can win it to save herself. All right. Well, let's talk about Sam because he kind of like got back in a good position after being very much at the bottom after Sierra went home. So do you feel like that Sam is in the driver's seat now? I think Sam is in control as long as he can control being in control.

Meaning, you know, it's easy to get in control. When you start to get a little arrogant, you start to get a little sloppy and messy. And then right when you do that, you go home. So Sam has positioned himself now to have a voice again. I can remember in the game when my voice was taken away because I did something stupid. I mean, I made the biggest mistake of all big mistakes. I raised my hand for the second time in front of everybody and said, send me home. And that right there turned my game

for the better and the worst because up until then I spent 17 days calling all the shots. Then, now I'm pitching ideas and everybody's like, yeah, next week maybe. Yeah, tomorrow maybe. So I understand what Sam

is feeling when your voice is taken. You have to stay silent. You have to stay patient. And man, he has stayed silent, patient, but still working. Now, I do think it was a big mistake for him to run and

tell Saul Rachel, dude, you just blew up your spot with Rachel. Yeah. Why do that? But, you know, like I said, the five personal lines that they're trying to put together, I think it's smart.

Will it last? I don't know. It says the five, I guess, what, outsiders or something like that? Yeah. I think that can work. Was that at all what happened with Sam similar to when prior to, I think it's all that same vote when you talked about the, when you held up your hand and said, send me home. When Hunter found out that Tevin was going to go home and then he's going to go and try to talk to everybody and change the vote.

Was that a similar situation? So not really from a standpoint of Hunter didn't go to Tevin, the person who was going home to cause all of the chaos that Sam did. Hunter went to everybody but Tevin. You know what I mean? But it was a situation where I went to Hunter and told him what was going on. And I was like, dude, unless you have an idol, which we found out he did, and you can play it for Tevin, he's going home.

There's nothing we can do about it. Everybody on this beach had flipped on us. But on the flip side for Sam, nobody flipped on him. They just flipped on Sal, in a sense. And he wasn't in a true alliance with Sal. So I didn't see if Tiffany in that same spot there comes to me and say,

hey Q, they're voting out X. I'm not going to X, because Tiffany is, at that point in time in the game, my true number one. So maybe Sam doesn't view Rachel as his true number one so maybe sam doesn't view rachel as his true number one yet i bet he wish he does now though because rachel like she got some power man rachel is not necessarily feeling like she can trust sam so much uh that when sam was talking

with kyle uh she was like i don't really know about, if I love this plan to vote out Gabe, she would have rather voted out Genevieve. Yeah. Let me ask you a question, Rob. Yeah. If for some reason you drank too much and you pee in the bed and you tell me.

Yeah. I go and tell somebody else. Who are you telling? The next time you pee in the bed, you ain't coming to tell me. You know what I mean? So it's just one of those things. All right, so I drank too much, okay?

I pissed the bed. And I tell you, then if this happens again, I'm not going to tell you? You're probably not going to tell me if I go tell somebody else. So did I pee in the bed all the time? I don't.

If you told me you peed the bed, regardless of why you thought you should tell me that, I don't. Please don't tell me you pee in the bed. But if I went and told somebody, the next time you pee in the bed, you're not coming to me and telling me anything. I'm not telling anybody.

Point exactly. But Rachel did. Rachel went and told her, number one, her friend in the game that she thought she could trust. So they wouldn't be blindsided. So she's playing with her heart a little bit. Yeah. And her plans almost got ruined because what could have happened in that same spot was everybody found out Rachel told Sam. Now Sam goes to tell Saul.

They find out. They flip the whole vote on Rachel. And she goes home with, I think she has an idol. She has an idol. Yeah. In her pocket. She does what you does. Yeah.

And Tiffany and Hunter and Venus yeah I feel like what'd you think about when they showed oh everybody here has to play their idol because we don't want to be like season 46 listen it's a curse man and it's one of those it's just like you know when things are going a certain way in life or in season of Survivor, it kind of sticks. And if you're watching season 46 and you know you're going on season 47, you're going out there thinking, if I get an idol, oh, I better play it. And I better play it quickly.

Yeah. But I think the game made it a lot easier for some of those earlier idols to be played. Because they had to play them at the next tribal or the next one or the expire. So that took the thought out of it. Now, what Sue is doing with her idol and keeping it hush-hush, having told her soul from what we can see, and her name is not coming up right now, I that was me i just wish that was me we'll see we'll see susan might be coming up now at the she was uh blindsided after that vote and her idol might be coming out sooner than later but the i think the person who said about hey i don't want

to be like survivor 46 i think it was gabe who said that who ends up being the person who goes home where did gabe go wrong q i don't think gabe did anything wrong as far as you know within the game gabe is a very smart player he's the next biggest target gabe has driven votes and the only thing that i can think of is maybe taking the back seat in the two cool four and making someone else seems like the brains and the lead and the head because now they think if I take out Gabe who is in charge of two-coup four then I can control two-coup at that point in time so maybe making Sue seems like the bigger brains behind it throwing them under the bus a little bit. But that's not in his personality. He was there to play, and he played and do it. I loved watching Gabe.

He was always, it seemed, like a step ahead. He was always trying to think of the next thing to make sure his game gets further. Like I heard him say, if I can get the eight, I can control this thing. I just have to get the eight. So he was thinking forward. So I don't think he necessarily did anything wrong. I just think the other players did something right.

You don't think it was when he did the Ray Lewis stance last week? No, I don't think so. That was so bad. It was ridiculous. I just honestly think they're in that point in the game where they're looking at who's the next biggest threat. Yeah, so Gabe came into the

game and he said, I want to play like Russell Hance. I know you were very big on people talking about who they wanted to play like, but he said he wanted to be like Russell because Russell was loyal to his people. And he did play that game. He did. And we saw him tonight talk about maybe Kyle. Okay, we should go after him. But

he was like, hey hey these are my people i'm gonna stick with them until the end and he really did stick to that it was caroline though who said hey she gave the green light to go after gabe did you think this was a good move for caroline i think it was a great move for her if she's going to now be a part of this five person alliance, it breaks her away from the two to voodoo. I think that's about to happen. And but for the thing that I can't worry about in a sense of, OK, they get back to camp. OK, they get back to camp and for some reason the votes get out that it's going to be a cow, if it's the case. Or the five, it gets out in the other three. And, you know, Sue plays her idol right and send one of the five home packing.

And it's Caroline because she flipped. I don't want that to happen. And maybe I'm just thinking to the extreme, but I think it was the right move for her game as long as she can go and find her a new home, which it seems like from their preview she has in that five. I don't want to speculate and look forward, but the move tonight, she understood that

she was either going to be on the wrong side of the votes, obviously, or she could be a part of the right side. Because you go on a tribal, it was two votes on Genevieve. We know where those two votes come from. Everybody else voted for Gabe.

So it was not only Caroline, it was also, I think I'm sorry. No. Kyle. I think Kyle also voted for Gabe. Yes, yes. Everybody voted.

The only people, it was only Gabe and Sue that didn't vote. Right. So now Caroline looks like the genius who was in on the plan, which she was, and makes Sue look like the odd person out. But what they don't know is Sue got that pocket rocket. Let me just say, if she pulled that pocket rocket out, she ain't going nowhere. Yeah. All right, so how does Caroline handle this

when she gets back to the camp? Because Sue, she blindsided her number one ally. Yeah. And you know, Sue does not forgive. If you cross her, we saw with Kyle. Yeah, I think her best move is to go to sue and just say hey sue you know it's nothing against you personally it was a game thing for my game same way jennifer did with genie almost you know it was best for my game to get rid of game he was making more of the decisions for me i feel like i didn't have a voice with you, with Kyle. Play that card, I think.

Gets her maybe. But we're talking about Sue. Listen, Sue hasn't forgiven the little dude in first grade for stepping on her foot. You think she better forgive you for sending home her number one in blind? No, she's not. But it's just a thought

of. And then for Caroline, you move on. Either she wants to work with you or she don't. She's one right now. Do you think that the Sue and Gabe and Caroline was at all like you and Tiffany and Kenzie in that, you know, both Gabe and Caroline both had Sue as like their number one. And there was like a little bit of a tug of war between those two over who was going to be the person who stuck with Sue. Yeah. So in a sense, yeah, but no.

Simply from the standpoint of I think Sue was more loyal to Gabe than Caroline. And it was clear versus our season. It was not clear where Tiffany really really lied but I know where Tiffany really really lied because I know some of the stuff that we talked you know I mean but it's not we're not starting season 46 from a standpoint of them being a three and Sue being in the middle of those three Sue wasn't going home the same way of our three if it had Tiffany probably wasn't going to go home. And it was just because

I wanted to work with Tiffany. Kenzie wanted to work with Tiffany. She wasn't going to vote her. I wasn't going to vote her. Now, where is Tiffany vote going to go? You see what I'm saying? If Tiffany wanted to go back to a tribal council, I mean a camp and go to a challenge and run a 2v2v2

with me or Kenzie? I don't know. I'll let y'all ponder on that. But same thing with Sue. Do you want to go and run a 2v2 with Gabe or Caroline? So I think for Lori to lie, there was Gabe. And it shows the way she voted. You know, she was left out.

If Caroline was that close with with sue she would have went to yeah i'm a little nervous for caroline i think that she's a really smart player and that she gets gabe out of the picture i'm just not sure necessarily like i don't feel like that she's in a very secure position moving forward you know sue has been a little volatile. She's crossed Sue now. And I don't feel like she has a real solid arrangement with any of those other players that were from the original

other tribes. Do you feel like Caroline's going to be okay? I think she will, just from the standpoint of what's on the board to come. If you have Kyle on the board, you have a Genevieve, you have a Sam on the board, maybe the next three before we even start to even peek at Caroline, unless she just does something crazy, stupid,

and it draws so much attention to her, I think that she makes it past those three if she gets in. And even Andy. I think she would go home after Andy from a standpoint. Eventually, the plan, every angle side is going to catch up, I think, with Andy. It's going to put him on the hot seat versus Caroline. She just flipped on one vote. She was in the majority. Now, like I said, it looks like she in a majority of five now. I think she can survive and make it. She just can't do anything stupid. Yeah. If she can sort of not she just can't do anything stupid yeah if she can

sort of not have this be this was caroline's move to take out gape she's very good at being sort of like camouflage like even if you like ask somebody like hey who are the people that are left on the show like for whatever reason they're gonna like name car sixth, seventh. You almost forget. But see, when you're out on the island, you should hope and pray for that moment. Yeah. That they just forget that I'm here. Just think about it.

If they just would have forgot Q was there for them. How could they forget? Well, I made it hard for them. But what if I would have made it easy for them like Caroline? Maybe I'd go a lot further for a bunch of things. How would you do that? How could you make people forget? I can't.

It's too late. But she can. I just still stand for the world. And yes, and coming up when she have to. She came up tonight. She had to. She had to make that move. It was best for her game, she felt. And I'm always, for a lot of folks, they critique moves. Listen, I'm not out there to critique the move. It was best for her game, she felt. And I'm always, for a lot of folks, they critique

moves. Listen, I'm not out there to critique the move. So I always ended with, if they made that move and they felt like it was best for their game at that time, they made the right move for themselves. Because listen, it ain't but one check at the end of the thing for a million bucks. And if

you're going to try to tote Gabe along, he's going to beat you. And she, see, I love this about her. She recognized that. She recognized that if Gabe potentially goes for her and make it, she beats Kerla. So why not get Gabe out? Maybe she thinks she can beat Genevieve. I don't know.

So it's a new year. You know what that means, setting big goals. Maybe you promised yourself you're going to hit the gym every day. Or maybe you said you're going to learn to make fire with a flint for once. Or the classic, save more money. But let's be honest. New Year's resolutions tend to fizzle out by February. And he

had a really fun moment in the show where he talked about how he's the spider and he's working with all these different people. What a turnaround for Andy. And, you know, he was looking like in the beginning of the season, he would have fit right in, in your tribe back in Survivor 46, that he was like, well, I don't know. He was giving Jelinski maybe a little Banu.

And, but now look at him. Yeah. Man, Andy is somebody, he's a scary player if you watched him from the beginning. He's somebody who needs to be catered to and talked to and felt included. Now he's this, I'm out here on an island. I'm by myself. I'm calling the shots. I'm making the twists, the moves.

They didn't woke up a sleeping dragon. And he gonna spread fire. I just think he gonna turn around and burn his own tail here in a minute. Yeah, how so? Because somebody's gonna have a conversation with somebody else and, oh, Andy told me X, Y, Z. Wait, he told me X, Y, Z.

Put two and two together. Andy's working us both. Yeah. We just flip this thing. Nobody's talking about Andy. And if a Tuku goes home next week or Genevieve goes home next week, now the target is going to go back on Sam, Rachel and Andy. Again, because now they've been in the middle of all these votes in a row. I would think now, might not, when you're out there and you live in it, you don't really see it that way.

But sending a Genevieve home next week opens the door now for the attention to be on those three. You know, how important are these starting tribes? I feel like when we watch the show, we think a lot about the starting tribes. But, you know, it important are these starting tribes? I feel like when we watch the show, we think a lot about the starting tribes, but you know, it's 26 days and you don't spend that much time with these people in the first part of the game. Is that still such a big deal

who you were with for the first 12, 13 days? I think it is. I mean, even, you know, I've gone back and watched some of the old seasons that were 39 days. On day 26 in the whole season, there were still 10 players left in the game. On day 26 now,

everybody's gone. So it's important because you don't have all the time in the world to build new bonds like you should in the old era versus the new now. So those older relationships carry more weight than the new ones, but it always hunt because now it's more emotions are attached and you think I have to do what's best for them. And for me,

man, now it starts to conflict things versus like Genevieve. She turns it on, turns it off when she wants. She don't have to worry about that. You see what I'm saying? So those early relationships matters the most. And it's all about who you start with. If I would have started on Segal or, you know, another tribe, obviously we wouldn't have went to tribal that many times. So it would have been a lot better in that standpoint. But maybe I'm the first person voted out because of who I am and how outspoken I am. And sometimes I can be more demanding than I should be

and all these different things. So being on that tribe with Tiffany, with Kenzie, with Jess, with Imbanu, with Jillian, it was awesome. It's what pushed my game through to the merge, at least. You know what I'm saying? So it helps. But from a Tuku standpoint, it hurts. Yeah. So, all right,

Kyle, we saw him win his fourth challenge of the season, which is incredible, and he really could have won five, that he was right there with Gabe, and now it's incredible that And he really could have won five, that he was right there with Gabe. And now it's incredible that there's still so many challenges left and he's won four. Do you feel like that Kyle can potentially keep it going? So if Kyle wins next week, he'll tie for the most communities, right?

Yeah. If Kyle loses next week, he'll be on your podcast. Okay. So it's a win-win. Very exciting week next week. So it's one of those things like he's one win away from doing something very special. He's one loss away from going home. Q, but I think the thing that's worse for Kyle is the,

and we saw Sue hinted at it a little bit in Genie, you even talked about it, you know, his background of his story of that, you know, how, how much he really needs this money, I think is the biggest factor worse than the immunities. It's like, well, how could I sit next to this person? Yeah. Yeah. And, And Kyle is, I mean, almost identical to Hunter from our season. I mean, literally, if Hunter won zero challenges and made it all the way to the end, Hunter wins our game just from his story alone, where he comes from,

what he's doing with it. It's an amazing guy. Kyle, same way. So you have two things going against you, Kyle. You're a challenge piece and you have a story. You better keep winning. But let me just say

this. You're going to be at home and you'll be able to tell that story for a long time how you won four immunities. Way more than me. Q didn't win any. Kyle, you've won four dude you're doing a damn thing yeah he's really uh it's incredible it's him versus sue in so many of these final challenges but it is so crazy that you would think that that would be the matchup and it's him versus sue back at cap yeah it's him versus Sue just pretty much anything.

Storyline. And for him to win out in so many cases, it shows. But I think Sue will get the last laugh. Because I think she's going to outlast him. I think so. I think that Kyle eventually, as you said,

if he doesn't win, he's going to be the person who ends up going and to take another shot at the tuku. I think that that would be a good move for them to make. I want to ask you about, we had the Rice negotiation. Last

season, only Liz wanted the Rice when Jeff brought up the Rice negotiation. No, no, no. I wanted the rice. I offered to sit out. Yes. I did. We just couldn't get one more person. And see, for my season, it was things like, oh, this is an iconic challenge. We want to try. We had four people out of that challenge within

15 seconds of a storm. Yeah seconds yeah that's right that's the rice right there for their case though because they walk in and the challenge is not something that's just overbearing like absolutely not it's tough right what challenge did you have the stand on the poles is that what it was yeah yes the in the pole. Q, I'd be with you. I'd say, I'll take the rice. Listen, this is the crazy thing, Rob. We played hide and seek

the day before. Hunter picked a tree to hang in for almost an hour and a half to two hours as his hiding spot. Of all people, okay, Ben should have sat out, for sure.

Should have sat out. So that gives us four right there if Ben says he's going to sit out, because we had three before Ben was like, ah, do I sit, do I don't? But like I say, who should have sat out is me, Kenzie, Liz, Ben. Because within 15 seconds, those were the people that were there.

And Kenzie was like, oh, I didn't know House of Frater Heights. Huh? How you don't know that? I knew that before I even came. So it's like crazy. But third challenge now, I probably wouldn't have offered to sit down. Because that challenge right there is something I felt like I probably could have won in my head. All right. Let me ask you this.

Would you have traded your shot in the dark for the rice? No. Oh, okay. Absolutely not. I would have done whatever the opposite of what the entire group wanted to do. If everybody would have been like, okay, I won't.

I would have been like, okay, I do. And as soon as they raised their hand, I would be like, okay, I don't anymore. Because I want them, especially if I'm Sam, I just ate. I'm full. I'm good. I need the rice. I ain't doing nothing for the betterment of this drive, especially if I feel like I'm on the bottom.

Yeah. No. Well, especially if people would maybe sit out of the challenge where if he could need it. Correct. All right. I want to get your thought on the shot in the dark because I think that I've seen some people be like,

yeah, shot in the dark. Yeah, give the shot in the dark away. Who cares? Is it that big of a deal for the players to give up their shot in the dark? No, no, no. It's not i mean honestly i would hope they would just remove it from the game yeah you know i mean because the odds of it but i guess the paranoia that you have of somebody maybe playing it yeah as the layout of the game

that i think is interesting and should stay but the actual shot in the dark part of it, dropping it in and pulling out our, most of the time you're not going to be safe anywhere. Go play your shot in the dark. Don't vote. So I kind of thought it was a brilliant move from the two coup people. And it was Kyle that suggested it, where if they have the majority to get the shot in the dark side of the

game, that like, that's great. If I'm, if we have the numbers like, yeah, let's get rid of the shot in the darks out of the game that like that's great if I'm we have the numbers like yeah let's get rid of the shot in the dark what do I need the people on the bottom playing the shot in the dark but I wonder did Gabe oversell it like Gabe was pushing so hard for

Sam to give up the shot in the dark for sure I mean he always said it to the point that Jeff brought it back up at Tribal. So you know it was a big deal if he does that. But my thing about it, it would have been really interesting if Jeff would have been like, okay, you can give up your shot in the dark, but it's essentially like you're playing it.

You're giving it up. So if you give it up, you don't have a vote tonight i don't think anybody would have done that because they didn't want to set up a challenge but gabe convinced everybody and the group was so bent on having rice that they was like okay we don't need this thing but it also it's like this this new era that's now in its 47th season, seven seasons of the new era, where these players, they know the percentages. They know that it's not a highly likable thing that they're going to drop it in

and pull out a safe. So if we can bargain this too, that really doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, let's do it, which I thought was brilliant. It was so fun to watch. Shout out to Kyle for even bringing it up. Shout out to Gabe for convincing Sam for it to happen. But if I was in Sam's shoes and I had just finished eating the day before,

y'all hungry, y'all mad, hell yeah, Q. I'm cheating right now. Q, do you feel like, are they eating this season more than they were in Survivor 46? Yes. When they, they even had a reward challenge. They've had two so far, plus the auction in the, at the murders.

I'm like, golly, I wish we would have had, so we had the Applebee's, which was awesome. But they're eating a lot. It seems like every other challenge is attached to food when i had to go 13 days no food come on now yeah i feel like or i thought maybe they weren't going to do the rice negotiation because i thought that maybe they're thinking like okay well we'll put more food rewards because they are always like oh you got to earn stuff okay well if i earn the food rewards there's food out there you just got to, you got to earn stuff. Okay, well, if I earn the food rewards, there's food out there. You just got to win the rewards to earn it.

But no, we still get the big rice negotiation. I think that's just an element that's so fun for Joe to where he wants to go in and he wants to bargain and he has a number. I don't think he was prepared to take away nine or eight shot in the darts

when he brought the rice out, but that's what makes it fun. He was tickled. They're like, oh my god, I never expected I would get seven shot in the dark for this rice. But I'm curious to see who is going to come back and

buy. Because Gabe wasn't planning to shot in the darts, so it really doesn't matter. Yeah, but Q, how long do you even get to play the shot in the dark for? Is it only for... Till six? I think six or seven.

Yeah. Six or seven. So it's only a couple of votes that you even can still use the shot in the dark. And see, that goes back to maybe these players,

they know that statistic and they're thinking like, well, I can only really use it the next two votes anyways. I don't need to get rid of it. You see what I'm saying? In a big group like that, it's not as much of a

scare than when you have six people in a tribe. Because if your three votes were going to this one person and now they're safe. Sucks. Sucks bad because the person who maybe they was working for now one vote sends you home. That's terrifying.

Versus now when it's a larger number, they're probably splitting votes and voting for different votes anyways. So I think giving it up works the smartest thing. But in the moment, Q would have had a Q moment and maybe made a big mistake, but I would have went opposite of the group. Q, do you have a winner pick for Survivor 47?

Yes. So my winner pick is, is it okay if I have two or no? Yeah, go for it. All right. I'm thinking Teenie. Yeah. Teenie had a good episode tonight.

Yes. Teenie is my one. Rachel is my 1A. So I got a 1A, 1A. Really. Okay. Rachel and Teenie both impressing the shit out of me. I'm going to tell you.

Yeah. Well, we haven't talked too much yet about Teenie. Teenie has basically this story about how that this is going to maybe be the start of a new part of their game and that they're going to get payback for like really the whole previously on was like from Tini's perspective about how it's going to get payback for Saul. Like, do you think that this is like the beginning of Tini's run to the end? like the beginning of Teenie's run to the end? I think it is. I think Teenie is about to go under the radar a bit because again, you have a Genevieve, you have a Kyle in the game.

Then you're going to have potentially Andy's name and Sam name potentially coming up. You make it through four more votes, you're in the final five. Yeah. You know? So it's just one of those things. It's so easy now for Teenie and Rachel to make it to the end,

which may be a sue and someone else has to, you know, if it's not. So I like my chances with Teenie and Rachel making it. But Teenie, man, she's in a great spot from a standpoint of now people feel like okay i owe her i want to work with her i want to bring her in versus rachel just be a skeptical of her name is still coming up as someone that sneaky you gotta watch yeah not so much with teeny yeah i feel like that teeny is in a spot where just nobody's worried about teeny and i feel like it was not to keep going back to your season but like was liz in that kind of spot where it's like well let's not even like worry about liz so i think liz and ben was were both kenzie as well all three of

those folks was literally for my season from 12 all the way down to really uh six five whatever yeah they was like let's not worry but when you let those let's not worries get too far in the game and it's more of them than it is you you better worry because nobody's going home uh yeah and i look back on my season and I kick myself because it's not that I was blindsided. I was blindsided but it's not the same blindside that most folks probably

oh, they spooked, they tricked me. They pulled one over my, no. I was so upset and mad because I allowed my game to be in the hands of someone else, meaning I trusted Maria, which Maria did nothing wrong. He was blindsided by those girls because she thought she had. Q should have done what Q do. I should have ran around that damn island. I should have pulled my idol out and told him I'm playing it. If you vote for me, you can go to hell. You can count for Christmas. I should have pulled my idol out and told him I'm planning it. If you vote for me, you can go to hell.

You can count for Christmas. I should have told him everything under the sun. But it's so easy to say and do all that looking back, watching. But for every other moment, I was always thinking about how can I do something that maybe just gets me one day forward. And for that one day, I was like,

let me do nothing to bring attention to me. Muriel got it handled. I trust her. She got them girls. We're going to make this thing work. I'm going to scoop their butt at five with my idol. And I was looking too far in the future and not in the moment. I regret that.

I regret that. I should have did what you do and caused all kinds of hell. And I think what's going to happen in this season is the complete opposite. Where if Taney just

chill out, Rachel just chill out and just let a couple votes come to them, which they have time to do that. You know, it's eight people left now. So they have that time. But as it gets to do that. You know, it's eight people left now. So they have that time. But as it gets to six people, five people, I think they're going to squeeze through.

So going back to Rachel, your other winner pick, Rachel really wanted to get Genevieve out tonight. She was really trying to work on Genevieve. I feel like that, to me, is a big mistake for Rachel. Wait, the big mistake is? The big mistake is to go after Genevieve for Rachel because Genevieve,

I'm sorry, Rachel says, if I need to get Genevieve out, then nobody will be worried about me. I think it's quite the opposite. If Genevieve stays, nobody's worried about Rachel. All right. Yes.

And maybe that's what she meant. But from a standpoint of also, Genevieve just told you her secret, her plan. She trusts you to a certain extent. Why do you want to get rid of her versus Gabe? He's on the total opposite side of the line. He's not trying to make amends. He's not trying to make any plans with you at all. And I think she

eventually did the right thing. But see, why I think Rachel is, again, my one A, with eight people left and with names like Genevieve and Kyle on the board, if she survives two tribals and luck up and win one,

she's in the final four with her idol at five. Or if somebody else do something so stupid that where she can now go home behind whoever that person is, dude, she's in the final four. If she can just chill out and now maybe send a Genevieve home or now maybe send a Cal home. And then you got Sam. So it's three people right now in front of Rachel, plus an idol where she has,

that has to go home. Dude, she in the best spot. Oh my goodness. She's in the best spot. Yeah. This is a really interesting final eight. It's very open. Very open. Like at our final eight you

had some folks who's like okay front runner if they make it to the end they win boom get them out first year you have so many options if they make they make it oh man but also q with your season that there was also like a few people that were saying, okay, they've got no shot. If they get to the end, they're getting no votes. I don't think you have that at all this season. No, not at all. No, and that's what I'm saying. For this season, it's like all these folks,

you're looking at it and you're like, shoot, if they make it to the end, they win. They win. They win. Versus us, you had a very clear picture of okay these three or four people if they make it they're gonna win these three or four people don't have a shot yeah let's focus on these folks versus their season it's so hard because it's like everybody has a shot everybody yeah who you vote for the only person i that has, the person I think that has the least amount of a shot is Sue right now.

Yeah. And maybe Sue's game is about to evolve now that Gabe went home. She's going to wake up and do something special with that idol and start to turn the tide a little bit. But everybody else is like, dude, so good. Yeah.

And Sue still has like a, you know, a shot of to reveal, by the way you thought i was 45 i'm 58 she still could do something with her idol like you know that there's she has outs still to potentially uh you know do something but you're right probably the least likely of the eight yeah for sure uh well the least likely of the eight Kyle. Well, but if he gets there, if he gets there. Kyle has to be perfect. Yeah.

He can't miss. No. I mean, literally. Did Kyle make the right decision to go against Gabe? He's the one that brought it up. It's like, hey, Kyle, what are you doing? Because the best thing for you would be to stick with your four-person alliance and get to the final four.

Well, see, it's also a thing of looking up and saying, okay, if I do get rid of Gabe with someone I think who's going to eventually make a move on me, but also he got rid of, maybe what he's thinking is his best competition and challenges. Maybe he's thinking,

if I go ahead and get rid of Gabe now, I can win this thing out if I can just beat Sue every time. You know what I mean? But Sue is, man, she's on it. She's in there. Hey, stand still. Sue's got this. Yeah, for sure.

For sure. But maybe that's Kyle's thinking to say, you know what, I'm looking at maybe my performance and immunities against everyone else. And with Gabe, if something is just willpower, he will stand there at least. He will fight. Some of these others, they're not going to do that.

It's what he's probably thinking. Or he's just like, you know what, I'm going to go with the tie simply from a standpoint of I think Gabe is eventually going to come after me. I want to be the first person to make a move, but you're making a move at nine. It's a

lot of moves left to be made. And maybe if Gabe is on that board and now Gabe can take credit for sending Genevieve home and you help him with it and you paint that picture, oh, it was all game. All game. All game. Now his target goes above yours.

And Gabe, that he wasn't thinking about, like, who's out in front of me. Correct. Correct. And, but like I say, he was thinking,

but he was thinking so far in advance that he couldn't see, like, okay, if I do this right now in two days, this ain't going to make sense. So to answer that question though, there's an argument for Gabe on the 47.

beat him, you get his 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Wait, huh? Sammy says that he wants to challenge you to a basketball game. For his 2015? Yes, you get his car if you beat him. Okay, do we need to live stream this?

Yeah, he says he would come to you. Hey, now, hold on, man. Now, first of all, let me address you like this, Dean, if you're going to address me like that. You're going to issue a challenge to me in my sport. Yeah.

And you're going to offer up your vehicle and you said you're going to then book the ticket or whatever and come to me and think you're going to be me in my backyard? Big mistake. Let me just tell you something. First of all,

who said that I would drive a 2015 4Runner? I don't want it, but I'm going to take it from you. So I accept your challenge. And let me just say this. You don't have to come to my backyard because if you come here and you lose and you're boo-hooing, you're going to be walking home because I'm going to keep it at the car.

I'm coming to you, and I'm booking a one-way ticket. I'm going to go for a fat number, you know, 2015 four-run. You know what I'm going to do when I make it home? I'm going to target practice on it. Target practice. So to let you know that your Big Fat Map got opened and now your vehicle

is full of bullets. And he said that then if you win, you get to cancel Christmas. I'm rooting for you so hard. If I win, no, no, no. If I win, I get his car. Oh, that's right.

If he wins, if he wins, he gets the what? I don't, you know, I don't remember what he gets. Well, Rob, let me just tell you this. It really doesn't matter if he wins car. That car is not going to come into play at all. Yeah. And, but listen, I'll let him pick. that part is not going to come into play at all yeah and I'll let him pick if he wants to lose in basketball

which he's for sure losing in basketball for sure but he's even times five for sure losing at the other challenge yeah don't you wear glasses does he wear glasses?

Do you wear glasses? I think sometimes, yeah. You're going to need a new prescription. Don't shoot your eyes out. Yeah, I don't know why he just called you out out of nowhere. Just out of the blue?

Yeah. Listen, the one thing you don't do out of the blue is call IQ. Yeah, big mistake. Big mistake. So,

I want you to let Sam know I accept this challenge and I would love to get it on sooner than later. Actually, I want to wait until December the 24th. I want to come and take your car right before Christmas. So on my way out, I can tell you your Christmas is now. You have to walk to get your gifts. You have to walk to your family's gathering or somebody can come pick you up. Catch an Uber. Plus you had a vehicle. You don't. It's mine now. Alright. Wow.

do you have any other survivor questions yeah I think that's a good place to to stop it do you have anything else you want to say about Survivor 47? Yeah, so this season, really, man, I'm not just – first of all, I wouldn't say anything just to pack the book. Let me just say that. This season has been amazing to watch.

Just some of the twists and some of the changes in the players, the aggression and the way that they're playing. I mean, I've enjoyed it. I hope this season ends with the right winter, meaning Rachel or Teenie. Yeah. I'm rooting for you guys big time. But, you know, I'm watching. I'm always watching.

I'm taking notes. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about this game. Because, you know, I want to see great gameplay. Always. Okay. LL Cool Dubs will say, is Q selling out of Q skirts on Black Friday? See, I'm selling out of these hoodies, Team Q. But I also want to sell out of Qmeos

and add that to the prize pot oh that is for sure going to happen right after I target practice I'm going to take it

to the junkyard some bullittles I'm going to take it to the junkyard and they'll to take it to the junkyard and they'll pay me a couple grand for the metal so for everybody out there watching this is what's going to happen

I don't even need $20,000 worth of cumulos anymore I just need everybody to just tag Sammy and let him know I accept his challenge get him here I'll take his forerunner and I will sell it, pawn it,

do whatever. That's part of the money for the season 45. Wow. Or maybe I just give the forerunner to my next favorite player from season 47. Okay, a second prize. Yeah. Because Sia would

give out like three prizes. But wouldn't that suck, though? Oh, for your prize, you get a 2015 Ford Runner. I put a ribbon on it and a bow. Open the door, it falls off. Yeah.

And maybe Kyle would be like, hey, this is great. Oh, Kyle would definitely love it. He have a couple of kids. It's like, dude, bring it on. So, Kyle would definitely love it. He had a couple kids. It's like, dude, bring it on. So yeah, I will Kyle will get the four-run if I win. Okay. And it's not

if I win, it's when I win. It's if he accepts the challenge back. Right. Actually, he offered the challenge, so all I have to do is accept. You have to accept the challenge. And it's binding then, correct? It's binding, yeah. I accept. I accept. No take-sie-backs. You gotta do it now. Okay. No take-sie-backs.
