Episode Date: April 16, 2026Survivor 50 Ep 8 Exit Interview Survivor 50’s Dragon Slayer faces his final Tribal Council as Rob Cesternino sits down for an in-depth exit interview with Coach Wade. Rob and Coach revisit the doubl...e Tribal Council twist, the unraveling of alliances, and the critical decisions that shaped Coach’s fourth – and possibly final – run on Survivor. The interview starts with Coach reflecting on his game as the “Tidewalker” and what triggered his downfall after the Blood Moon challenge. Coach admits stepping off too early in a pivotal challenge, misreading alliances, and watching his army fall apart due to unexpected tribal decisions. He details the chaotic vote splits, the dangers of trusting the wrong advisors, and how Rick Devens’ fake idol play at Tribal Council altered the mood and confidence of the group. Coach also opens up about his changing gameplay mindset, the challenge of competing against “free agents” like Ozzy, Cirie, and Rizo, and the emotional toll of seeing allies like Colby and Mike White get picked off. Key moments from the episode include: – Coach’s critical misstep during the Blood Moon challenge that shifted his position in the tribe – The impact of the vote split debate and why Coach felt he was fighting “idiocy” within his own alliance – Rick Devens’ fake idol play and the ripple effects it had at Tribal – Emotional confessions about losing allies and Coach’s frustration with strategic blind spots – Insights into the strategic depth (or lack thereof) in Survivor 50 compared to past seasons Will Coach take another shot at Survivor, or is his journey truly over after four unforgettable seasons? How did a single challenge decision spiral into his eventual blindside? Tune in as Coach Wade breaks down his exit from Survivor 50, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and reflecting on what it means to leave the game as a “Zen Slayer.” Chapters: 0:00 Survivor 50 Exit Interview Opens 0:52 Coach Wade Joins as Dragon Slayer 2:26 Coach 4.0 Mindset Explained 3:00 Blood Moon Challenge Regret Detailed 4:14 Vote Split Frustration and Missteps 5:54 Strategic Players Missing This Season 6:13 Watching Alliances Disassembled 7:15 Scrambling Before Tribal Council 8:00 Shot in the Dark Tribal Drama 9:25 Reacting to Rick Devens’ Fake Idol 10:43 Rizo, Cirie, Ozzy Loyalty Mistake 12:18 Coach Reflects on Survivor Journey 13:42 Nietzsche Quote and Survivor Joy 15:00 Coach’s Nickname Project Promotion To pre-order Rob’s book, The Tribe and I Have Spoken, visit www.robhasabook.com Never miss a minute of RHAP’s extensive Survivor coverage! We all love Survivor, and in my first ever book, The Tribe and I have spoken,
I'll tell you how this little show evolved from that juggernaut first season on the beaches of Borneo
all the way into its landmark 50th season.
I'm like a storyteller. That's what I do.
What role did the greatest players, the unforgettable moments,
and Jeff Probst himself have in shaping what Survivor has become today?
And what contribution did we play in building this worldwide tribe of Survivor fans?
Love you, Bay.
For you future players, I've also included my ultimate survivor playbook to help you win the million dollars, unlike me.
It's fine. You know what, dude, it's fun.
This hardcover edition is filled with beautiful survivor illustrations in every chapter and is an amazing addition for every survivor collector.
I'm a meat collector.
Pre-orders are everything for a book launch, so to say thank you to everyone who pre-orders, you'll receive an exclusive digital bonus chapter called the Ultimate Rights.
of passage, my personal tribute to all the players who have ever competed on the show, all
751.
This is huge.
I needed this.

That's rob hasabook.com.
Nicely done, Rob.
Hey, everybody, what's going on?
Rob Sester Nino.
back with you for a Survivor exit interview here today.
And so it was a double tribal council.
But as of right now, I just have one exit interview here for you.
And that is with the second person who was voted out at last night's double tribal council.
The Dragon Slayer coach Wade is going to be with us.
I have not gotten a word on an exit interview time yet with Chrissy.
Typically, I do them back to back. Not sure if Chrissy has limited availability on Thursday, but I would love to have the opportunity to talk to Chrissy.
And I'm hoping that we can get an exit interview with Chrissy at some point in the future and whatever that may be.
I don't care when it is. I'll be thrilled to talk to Chrissy whenever we get the chance.
So keep your podcast of Catcher open and be ready for whenever the Chrissy exit interview.
happens. But in the meantime, we're going to talk to coach, had a really great Survivor
Know Italls with Stephen on Wednesday night. And so be sure to check that out. Got a busy Thursday
as well. I'm going to talk to our friend Baby Andy later on. Plus, we've got a podcast coming up
with John and Naliyah this weekend and then a mid-season mailbag. And not to mention,
we are creeping up on the launch date for The Tribe and I have spoken. If you haven't gotten your
pre-order yet, what are you waiting for?
because we've got a great pre-order for you.
The ultimate rights of passage
that is at Rob has-a-book.com.
All right, we have coach here online.
Let's go ahead and bring in the Dragon Slayer.
All right, we are here with the Tidewalker,
the Dragon Slayer, the great coach Wade.
Coach, how are you?
Rob, I'm great now that I'm talking to you, sir.
I've been looking forward to this.
Actually, for about a week, I'm like, well,
At least, I know what's coming, but at least I get to speak to, you know, the original Bushmaster.
Thank you.
Oh, well, it's great to get the chance to talk to you about everything that's going on here in Survivor 50.
And, you know, I just would love to just get the sense from you and your story.
You know, you came in and you had a mindset of Coach 4.0.
You were the Tidewalker.
But it seemed like after the Blood Moon that there was a shift.
that happened. And I really couldn't put my finger on why exactly that happened. From your
perspective of your journey, was there something that happened that changed the way that you were
playing in Survivor 50? Yeah. I mean, first of all, you know, I messed up a couple of times.
And the first messed up was when we were doing that challenge in the blood moon. I could have gone
longer. And D looked around and said, coach, I got you. Like I got you. And I thought, well,
then we can get Emily out. I didn't realize that they were thick. And so I stepped off. I could
have gone longer. And seeing how quickly she stepped off, I could have beat her. And as soon as I sit down,
Colby was like, we're screwed, coach. I said, no, we're not. We still have the numbers. Yeah.
And he was like, I don't have a vote. I forgot that he didn't have a vote. I was so mad at myself. I
said the F-bomb and that's when you see it bleak. It actually makes the edit when I say that really
loud because I realized I had catastrophically messed up. And so when we get to the beach, I start
scrambling. I run after D. I start lying to her. I mean, I just like, it really rattled me that I was
that, not that checked out. I was just, I just really made a mistake. Yeah. And so that was kind of like
the beginning of it. And so I'm like, okay, I can, I can get over this. You know, when we had that big merge,
everybody was talking to me.
Emily and I had a great conversation.
Christian and I had a great conversation.
Rick and I had a great conversation.
And so then we get to this, you know, this big vote for D.
And I just couldn't believe, Rob, if you're playing Survivor and you're going to split the votes because you have the numbers.
You have 12 people that are going to vote, hopefully in your favor.
And I was totally cool about it.
You know, we talk about a D's name.
Okay, great.
Who else are going to mention?
Well, Tiffany's her ally.
Okay, well, then let's vote Tiffany.
And then everybody was like, well, no, I'm not doing that.
And I said, Chrissy, you want to go to the O 12-0?
Yes.
Jonathan, 12-0.
Yes.
Joe, 12-0.
Yes.
I couldn't believe it.
Stephanie, 12-0, yes.
I mean, it blew my mind.
And so that was like the second unraveling of the Dragon Slayor's armor was to realize that maybe I'm not playing Survivor with the smartest people.
I mean, certainly if you think about it, it really was a game for me to win because you don't have the strategic.
the strategic masterminds like Rob Custernino.
And, you know, Steven Siffback and Cochran.
But I mean, seriously, and Tyson, like you guys are all good strategic player.
Who is strategic on this season?
Surrey?
Who else?
I'd say so.
You know, there's not, who's the, who's played strategically?
Not that many people are playing strategically.
And so what happened is that I just couldn't believe it.
So it was like those two things back to back.
And so I was really cool.
I was really zen.
But the idiocy of wanting to go in, 12-0-0, I said, I'm not going to go home because of a shot in the dark that's successful.
And we didn't even know if maybe there were other idols out there that we just didn't know about.
We knew about the boomerang.
But you never know.
And so I didn't want to risk that blindside to happen.
And so I fought for it.
And it was a hill that unfortunately I eventually died on.
And in hindsight, I wish I could have done it differently.
I want to talk about this twist that we saw last night.
Do you feel like that the introduction of this twist was what doomed you in the game?
I mean, obviously, you know, I think that the two previous things doomed me,
I think that it was very sad.
I'm a very happy person, but it was very sad the last few weeks watching my army be disassembled.
You know, I had a huge alliance with Mike White.
I had a huge alliance with Charlie.
I had a huge alliance with Camilla.
I had an alliance, you know, just in very briefly in passing with Angelina before the game.
I'm watching all these people get picked off, and it's not because it's strategic.
It's just literally freaking whims of the moment.
And so I'm watching this.
I mean, I was in the middle of everything, Rob.
I really was, you know, the Zen Slayer this time for 14 days.
Yeah.
So, you know, it just was really, it was like really disheartening to see.
And then to see Colby get voted off.
And I really, I take responsibility for that.
You know, I could have, I could have changed that day if I would have won the immunity.
So, you know, it just, it is what it is.
Hindsight's 2020.
At that tribal council that you went out at on last night's episode, did you know that you were going to go home?
You played the shot in the dark, so I have to imagine that you were definitely feeling some heat.
Did you think it was a foregone conclusion?
No, I mean, I think going into tribal.
actually took bad advice. People said, don't do anything. And I actually should have gone around
to everybody and kept playing. You know, at least at least it made for good TV that I'm sitting there
a hammock and breaking the fourth wall and talking to the, you know, usually on Survivor, there's
one cameraman for the tribe and then there's three for me. So there's, you know, three people
that sitting there hovering over my hammock. And I'm like, I'm going to give these guys a show.
Yeah.
In which I did. But, you know, it's like going into tribal, it was, you know, it was 50-50.
You know, it could have gone either way. And when Rick grabbed that idol, that was kind of
the tipping point, but I still was not going to play my shot in the dark.
Jonathan was like whispered to me, and so did Stephanie.
It was like, play your shot in the dark.
And I felt like I should, but again, that was like the tipping point.
Should I play it?
Should I not?
I didn't want to not have a vote case the numbers were close.
But, you know, that was kind of the tipping point to play the shot in the dark.
I'm so curious to know if Rick Devon's getting up and doing what he did.
How much did that actually change at that tribal council?
Yeah, I mean, I think let's say that going into the vote, it was 50-50.
Yeah, well, then that made it 60-40.
Yeah.
Or let's say that we went into the vote 60-40.
Well, that made it 70-30.
So, you know, that 10% of doubt is going to carry a lot of cloud on Survivor.
Yeah.
Did you think that was a real idol when he pulled it out?
At first I did, and then I was looking around, and even Emily was like, that's not a real idol,
which I don't know why.
She wouldn't have said that to me if there's a real idol.
still wouldn't have been a doubt, right?
Because she actually said to me, she was like,
coach, that's not a real idol.
I know it's not.
And she actually got pissed.
I don't,
and it was really interesting looking back on it.
She got really mad in that moment.
Yeah.
She was like,
it's not a real,
you know,
Rick's always pulling this shit.
That's what she said.
And so she got mad.
And so,
you know,
I thought,
I thought it was a fake idol.
Yeah.
Now that you've watched the episode,
how do you feel about the group
of Ozzy, Surrey, and Rizzo, who, it seemed like that to your group at the time that they were
part of your numbers, but they were much more of free agents, it seems like, in the real time.
Mm-hmm. I made a mistake on season 20, listening to Tyson and Boston Robb say we've got
Courtney and we've got Sandra without talking to them, right? Yeah. Made a mistake on this season
listening to Stephanie, who's been duped five-time by Suria in various shows. And, you know,
And she said, no, you know, she's good.
She's good.
And Ozzy's good.
And then, you know, I listened to Colby.
I wanted, you know, I wanted Rizzo out first.
And I said that.
And, you know, for them to then say, Rizzo is amazing.
He, I put my stamp on him.
You know, I'm going to tell you a little fun fact.
You ready for this?
I slipped a note in Kobe's bag right before the game started.
Nobody else is going to get this.
It's an exclusive for you.
I slipped a note in his bag that said Rizzo first.
when we were doing the interviews for your interviews, right?
I slipped a note in his back.
Rizzo's first.
First thing Colby does when he comes on my beach.
First thing Genevieve does when they come on my beach, Rizzo's great.
He loves you.
And so, you know, like there were levels of deception and me listening to other people
instead of trusting my gut.
I knew Rizzo was going to be a snake from the very beginning.
He had a huge advantage over us.
I know that he's calling himself the man, the myth, the legend, but I'll tell you right now.
like he would not have lasted if we would have known if we would have seen him play.
He just would have lasted.
But he had a huge disadvantage over all of us, just like Russell did in season 20.
We didn't know.
And the fact that D is talking to Rizzo before the game, look, you know, all the stuff before game credit to you and everybody else are not even asking about that anymore because it's completely irrelevant about alliances before the game.
But, you know, to hear the D's talking to Rizzo, you know, my instincts were right.
Should have listened to him.
So yeah, it surprised me.
It hurt me.
Sarie had just gotten through, you know, sitting on a hammock with me and asking about my kids
and a level of deep emotional deception that I don't play on Survivor.
And she says, I'm with you to the end.
And so, you know, just when you think that Surrey is a very overrated player and that Jeff has
given her a huge amount of clout, anybody else, he'd say, you suck at these challenges,
but Sarie, she did it again.
She finished a challenge.
You know, it's been a great story arc that happened her first season, which seems to a plateaued
and it just keeps going.
I'm saying that in a negative way, but just when you think that Ceres an overrated
a player, then she's able to pull off something like this, which makes you think, yeah,
maybe she's not overrated after all.
I want to talk about your story arc, and here we are after four times on Survivor.
You seem to have had a positive experience in terms of how you went out from the game.
Is your work in Survivor over?
Yeah, you know, that's two questions.
I'll say that I had a great time.
You know, people ask me, I will not let the haters.
I will not let the negativity distract me from the blessings that I had on this time around.
I had real great healing.
I had an amazing time.
I went out when I was supposed to go out.
And so I just loved being out there.
It was such a joyous season.
I loved it.
I don't know, you know, like I've turned down two shows in the last week.
I just am not that guy.
I'm not Boston Rob and Surrey
and just going on every show
that you can go on.
It's just not me.
I would do traders, you know,
if that does come around.
I think it would be like traitors,
and I'm done.
But you never say never.
I might be the best far of a survivor.
Keep coming back,
but I don't feel like I'll come back.
If they ask me to do blood versus water
with my son,
I'd have to consider to that
because he keeps bugging me about it.
But hopefully my days are over.
It's a hell of a lot harder at 54
than it was at 38, I'll tell you.
Listen, coach, you brought so much to the season.
We saw every side of coach in this season and everything in terms of the legend that is coach we saw on full display.
And I thought it was great to see you come back.
And I really hope that you hold your head up high about this experience because it was so fun to watch the Dragon Slayer back in action.
I'll give you a quote from Nietzsche, you know, that's like you must have chaos within.
in order to give birth to a dancing star, right?
And so, you know, I really like my dance moves out there.
I gotta tell you.
Yeah.
It was great.
I mean, they really, they really captured.
They got a little salty at the end, right?
Producer started getting the eye rolls and I thought I was back in token jeans.
But, you know, it's like they really did capture that joy of when I wake up every day,
and I really am, Rob, just, I've just, I've been, God's blessed me with joy.
I wake up every day, ecstatic to be alive.
And for that to really come out this year, even in a hard time.
Yeah.
You know, I'm sitting there making happy moments.
I say this.
I hope our time is not done.
But, you know, it's like my son said something when he was eight years old.
And he said, you know, dad, you take stressful moments in the house and you turn him into happy little memories.
And it was, it was such an endearing quote.
And I feel like, you know, unless they're not splitting the vote for the moment's part of a very,
Happy Joy is first of making a happy little member, everybody.
Well, coach, is there anything else you want to tell people to check out before we let you go?
Yeah, I mean, I will say, you know, I do love giving nicknames.
I've been giving them for 30 years.
And I did, I was having thousands of people asked me to do these nicknames.
And I said, you know what?
I said, let me do it properly.
Let me jump on a Zoom call.
They're like 15 or 20 minutes.
I mean, get your personality and they can give you an official nickname.
So I've been doing that.
You know, I got this website and there's dragon slayercoach.com.
And I'm only going to give 200, man.
We're up like, we don't have that many left.
We're well over 100.
Mother's Day and Father's Day coming up.
Let's go.
Some special presence to that, man.
So there you go.
I mean, I'm dropping single barrel whiskeys and I'm doing all kinds of stuff.
You know, I'm always getting my hand and stuff, you know?
All right.
Well, Coach, congratulations on everything.
Great to talk to you.
And looking forward to seeing you in person again soon.
Our time was much too short, man.
I really appreciate you and all that you've done for me and for the survival world.
Thank you, Coach.
All right, ready.
There you have it.
There's Coach.
An interesting journey, an interesting exit interview from Coach.
You felt like you got Coach a little bit looking back and seeing where it slipped away from him.
In the preseason, he looked like the person to beat.
When you go back, every single person was loving Coach.
And then he ended up just hitting turbulence at that one point in the game.
game that he outlined where you can really see a through line of where things started to
go wrong for him. And I think it was really hard to course correct in the real time.
But coach, undisputedly, one of the all-time Survivor Luddiers, I'm not saying anything
that is a hot take right now. And you have to appreciate what you got to see.
Was it perfect on the fourth time out? You know, far from it. But it was still just a
absolute joy as a survivor watcher to watch the coach and all of the different sides of him
show up at different points here in Survivor 50. And so I felt like that all along,
that was what I was hoping for out of Survivor 50. And we certainly got that in the story and the
journey of Coach 4.0. We are going to take a break. When we come back, we have Jordan Kalish
show to play a little bit of this week in Survivor History
right after this.
All right, we are back to do
a little this week in
Survivor History with the man
who has been
the creator of this game for
many, many
eons of Survivor history. It's Jordan Kailish.
Yo, I think
our Twish baby is about to celebrate
it's like, what, 12th or 13th birthday at this point?
Yeah, Happy Bar Mitzv.
Yeah, the Twish Mitzv.
Yes, Jordan, how are you? Doing great. I hope my destiny is tied to somebody who is very successful because that can end up screwing you over. So I'm happy in life. I'm not sure if I love what's going on on Survivor right now.
Yes, okay. Let's bring in our Twitch guest this week. This is somebody who really honored me earlier this.
year with a very touching rendition, mourning my loss on the traders. It hit me in all the feels.
Let's welcome in a very talented drag performer. It's shut up.
Hi, Rob. Hi, Jordan. I'm very excited to be here speaking instead of lip syncing. It's going to be
fun. Yes. Okay. Are you ready to come into Kalish's Funhouse?
I'm a little scared.
Obviously most excited for that verbal rebus, hopefully at the end.
Yeah, I have seen every season of Survivor, but I am a binger, so I have not rewatched any seasons, except for China with an X.
But I don't think that's going to come up.
China with an X.
Oh, okay.
That confused me.
I thought I was literal, and I was thinking of that, like, okay, is there some sort of
of spelling like Monet Exchange.
But no, no, just.
I just got it.
I just understood what that.
Yes.
Now you know what it feels like to do the verbal rebus.
Yes.
Now you know the shoes on the other foot.
And shut up.
You host a Survivor watch party in addition to a trader's watch party.
How can people watch Survivor with you?
Yeah.
I am at Pizza Lobo Andersonville in Chicago, Northside.
Every Wednesday at 7, get there early because the seats, they're filling up, especially for 50.
But yeah, every week, my co-host, Derek and I hang out with everyone, Raffle off a Buff, Chit-Chat, Dollar Wings.
Hey, what more can you ask for?
That's right.
Okay.
How do you pick the buff that gets auctioned off, raffled off?
You know, it's whatever is up for sale on that beautiful CBS website.
Okay.
So right now it's that lovely yellow merge buff.
Kind of, you know, did they blow it with yellow merge buff for season 50?
Absolutely.
Well, I don't know why.
Well, they just did Black for 49, right?
So maybe they didn't want to do that again.
But I always feel like a Black Buff is classy.
I think they should have done Gold LaMay.
Gold LaMay.
Yep.
You know, they didn't let us vote on that.
I think that they should have.
All right.
But another thing we don't get to vote on is what categories Jordan picks for Twitch?
And so let's find out.
Yes, this is not a democracy when it comes down to the Twitch categories.
It's a brutal dictatorship.
It is.
That's what they call me.
The brutal dictator of Twitch.
And today, what I have for you, I have Chrissy.
I have Q.
I have the old era mystery box.
and of course the new era mystery box
and shut up,
you get to choose the first category.
Oh,
and by the way,
I have,
based on your recommendation,
Rob,
I have slightly changed the rules.
Did you get any feedback
from our conversation
from last week?
No,
actually.
No,
nobody.
So,
surprising.
You know,
a lot of verbal rebus stuff.
It's a popular segment.
I would have thought
we would have got so much feedback.
Yeah,
you're mad at math,
and,
but I love the verbal rebus,
but nothing about the scoring.
So what I have decided,
I want to try this today.
This is the new scoring system.
three points if you get the mystery box without a multiple choice.
That's the same as we've been doing.
If you go to the multiple choice, it is only one point.
If there's a steal without the multiple choice, it's two points.
And if it's a steel with the multiple choice, it's one point.
So that's what we're going with.
I think that's better.
I think it is a little bit more dangerous, which is what you wanted, Rob.
So shut up with that new knowledge shut up,
are you going to go to a mystery box or are you going to go Chrissy or Q?
It's tough. That's tough.
Hmm.
I am going to go.
Yeah, I'll go with the new era mystery box.
The new era mystery box.
Which two new era players on 50 are tied for the most individual immunity challenge wins in the Survivor 40s?
Or I should say in the new era, the new era.
The new era, right.
Yeah.
I have to assume Savannah is on that list.
And these are individual wins.
These are individual immunity wins.
Okay.
I'm trying to think who is on this cast.
You know what?
Hey, go big or go home.
If I get blown out, it wouldn't be the first time.
I'm going to say, let's say,
I'm bread at myself for that one.
Let's say Jonathan and Savannah.
It is not Jonathan and Savannah.
So, Rob, you can steal two points with the correct answer.
Yes.
Okay, so famously, Savannah got four.
The question is, who else from the new era had four?
You know what?
I'm going to say, I believe it was Joe.
I was thinking like, what did Kyle get four?
and then I just remembered, oh, yeah, what about Joe?
He's been so quiet.
So there are four players in the new era who have won four immunity challenges.
Two of them are not on this season.
It is Kyle Ostwald and Rachel Lamont.
The other two are Joe and Savannah.
So Rob, you steal two points here.
You are on pace potentially for a perfect game here.
So we want to make sure we get to the verbal Revis.
But Rob, you need to get this question, right?
Are you going with the remaining mystery box?
are you going, Chris, see your Q?
Give me Q.
Okay, we're going to the Q.
At the Tribal Council in which Q asked everyone to vote for him,
he didn't end up receiving any votes.
Who was instead voted out at this tribal council?
It was Tevin.
It was Tevin.
So that is not a mystery box question.
So with the correct answer and no multiple choice, you have two.
So you are at a perfect 4-0 right now.
Shut up.
We need you to save us because you wanted the-
the verbal rebis, the fans want the verbal
revis, are you going to go
to the old ever mystery box or
Chrissy? This is hard
because I
don't like Heroes versus
Healers versus Hustlers, but
I did have a sinking
feeling that it
It's beloved season. It's rare to hear
that. I did have a
sinking feeling that Chrissy would be brought
up as a category
today, so I am going to go
with Chrissy. Okay, we're going to
the players who won...
I had the Tevin answer
at the tip of my tongue because that
was the encore episode that was
re-aired by CBS
prior to Survivor
50.
Wow. As the Twitch host, I may be
locked into the encore
airing of episodes here
because a little bit of a Twitch
spoiler. We didn't collaborate on that one,
me and Encore. So
shut up, the players who
won the reward went into the... And as of
course, HHH, the players who won the reward went into the bushes one by one where a plate of
spaghetti awaited them. The plate itself had a clue which stated that the hidden immunity
idol was hidden back at camp under the tribe flag. Who first found this clue while eating spaghetti,
but was thwarted by Chrissy and Ryan who got to the actual idol first. Oh, wow. One of my
favorite moments. Oh, it's so tough because I do love it so much. Wow. Wow.
me being like, oh, well, I know who voted for who at this tribal.
So wouldn't that be great?
It was not.
You know, I'm going to say.
And I believe you do need to get this with, without the multiple choice in order to have a chance here because the most you'd be able to score in the next question is too.
So you do need to get this right without the multiple choice.
And that does take the pressure off.
I think should I take another swing?
Let's say, because I know there was some split boat shenanigans at this tribal,
was it DESE?
It was not DESE.
So Rob, you can steal here.
I'm going to say that it was Cole Meadors.
Cole Meadors is correct.
So, Rob, you do steal two points there.
Yeah, Cole got.
was the first one to see the plate.
I think that Ryan played this smarter
because Ryan threw the plate into the woods
but Cole did a half measure.
He put the place mat on top of the plate
and then Chrissy and Ryan both found it.
So Rob has a perfect six points here.
Rob, you need to get this question
without the multiple choice to have a perfect game
and avoid my beloved and your hated verbal rebis.
We are going to the-
Shut, do you want to hear the verbal rebus?
Listen, I'll hear anything.
Okay.
All right.
We're going to go to the old era mystery box.
Yes.
Yeah, this is the pressure.
The pressure is on here, Rob.
In week, you have not had a perfect game since last season.
Yeah.
In week eight of Survivor Palau,
Bobby John lost fire and Stephanie went back to camp as a tribe of one,
the smallest in survivor history.
While nobody else on 50 ever went down to one,
who was the only person from the old era on 50 to ever go
down to three players with their original tribe on any season,
meaning it had to be pre-swap and pre-merge.
There is only one other player who went down to a tribe of three on their original tribe in a season.
Went down to three in their tribe in a season.
Original tribe.
Okay.
So just talking it through, I think I have the answer.
I think that it was a person
who started on a tribe of only four
who went to a tribal council.
I'm gonna say it was Surrey.
So Surrey on her first season,
Survivor Panama, started on the old lady tribe,
even though she was not an older.
I think Surrey is older.
Yeah, the older.
Yeah, the older days.
I believe is younger than I am now
when she started on Survivor Panama.
So I wouldn't consider that old.
Surrey is the correct answer.
They voted out, Timbertina, and they went down to three people.
Interesting season where they swap after just one vote.
There are some other instances where Chrissy, Mike White, Angelina, all went down to tribes of three,
but that was post-swap.
So that is the correct answer.
And Rob, for the first time this season, you have a perfect nine points, a nine zero win,
and that is a perfect game.
So Rob, the decision comes down to you.
Are we going to give, shut up the verbal rebus and the listening audience who loves the verbal
Revis or are you going to use your right to forego the verbal revis here based on the perfect
game?
Shut up.
I hate to disappoint.
I truly do.
But you have to stand for something.
And I would be going against all of my principles that I have staunchly stood for to go back
and do a verbal rebus right now.
I think that's fair.
Yeah.
But I appreciate.
I'm all about.
Yes.
You being here.
We had some laughs as well.
And one more time, tell everybody where they can come in.
And if you want, you would do a verbal rebus for the people at the Pizza Lobo.
Where is the, in what city?
This is in Chicago, of course, in Andersonville.
Andersonville.
Yes, every Wednesday at 7.
If you want to hear a verbal rebus, just ask me and I'll make one up on the spot.
We did haikus.
Yes, okay, that's good.
I think coach should break out some limericks.
I think that, you know, because limericks can be a little racy.
Yeah, well, coach is, I don't know if he can tell a racy joke, really.
Look, I had two goals.
One was to get a single point and the other was to make Rob laugh,
and I accomplished one of those things.
So, grateful.
Yeah.
50% on goals, that's pretty good.
Yes, okay.
there once was a
viewing a party at Pizza Lobo
and
you know it goes on from there
yeah of course
possibilities are endless yeah okay
