We all love Survivor, and in my first ever book, The Tribe and I have spoken,
I'll tell you how this little show evolved from that juggernaut first season on the beaches of Borneo
all the way into its landmark 50th season.
I'm like a storyteller, that's what I do.
What role did the greatest players, the unforgettable moments,
and Jeff Probst himself have in shaping what Survivor has become today?
And what contribution did we play in building this worldwide tribe of Survivor fans?
Love you, Bay.
For you future players, I've also included my ultimate survivor playbook to help you win the million dollars, unlike me.
It's fine. You know what, dude, it's fun.
This hardcover edition is filled with beautiful survivor illustrations in every chapter and is an amazing addition for every survivor collector.
I'm a meat collector.
Pre-orders are everything for a book launch, so to say thank you to everyone who pre-orders, you'll receive an exclusive digital bonus chapter called the Ultimate Rights.
of passage, my personal tribute to all the players who have ever competed on the show, all
751.
This is huge.
I needed this.
Free order wherever books are sold in hardcover and as an audio book at rob hasabook.com.
That's rob hasabook.com.
Nicely done, Rob.
I am so happy to finally be back at one of Rob's shows.
There's so many people here.
This is absolutely incredible.
It's been about eight years since I've been in New York, I think.
And today I get to introduce to you the man that we've been waiting to hear from,
the guy that has been incredibly busy this year.
He has been to Scotland.
He has had an epic murder on the traitors.
He was just on Watch What Happens Live Last Night.
And you guys have probably seen him more than I have.
So it is my pleasure tonight to introduce my man, the myth and the legends.
R-O-B.
Sorry, Rizzo.
Unofficially.
I'm Rob Cisternino.
Thank you to the First Lady of Podcasting.
Wow.
This is incredible.
What a night.
Too bad we're coming in kind of a sad note.
Kind of a down note on the whole Ozzy thing.
But we're going to talk about all that.
We've got a really, really fun show at a sold-out town hall.
1,500 Survivor fans in the house tonight.
And by my count, unofficially, everything I do is unofficial.
Unofficially, this is the biggest gathering of fans that, outside of,
of Survivor proper to ever get together to watch an episode of Survivor.
And it's been a big week.
I don't know if you heard.
I had a book come out this week.
The tribe and I have spoken and it's so nice to be here with the tribe.
And I see all the books here.
And please don't be throwing them if the show doesn't go well.
Okay.
But the show's going to go great because we, listen, we had 1,500 people here.
We had to bring out some heavy hitters.
for you.
So,
it is my
great pleasure
to welcome
some co-hosts
for this show
tonight.
Please welcome.
They were with me
in Los Angeles.
We're going to
take the show
on the road.
Please welcome.
Parvety Shallow.
And Danielle
DeLorenzo Nath.
Wow.
We're trying
not to be too happy
because...
Welcome.
We're wearing.
We didn't plan this.
I swear to.
Yes, so in all black appropriately for Ozzie's funeral tonight.
Yes.
How are you?
So good to see you.
Thank you so much for having us.
Yeah, come on in.
Okay, we've got so much to talk about here from this episode.
First of all, can I ask a question?
Does this chain make me look like a lesbian?
What do you think?
Yes.
So what?
I've been talking.
I just recently kind of got it.
Yeah, and people said, hey, do you know?
It's a bit lesbian.
And is that what you're going for or no?
I'm going for it.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Yeah.
How are you, Danielle?
I am so good.
I'm in New York City right now.
Like, what?
In front of all you amazing people.
I'm a mama bear now.
I have a three and a five-year-old, and she wears glasses.
And I wear, okay, all right.
And I'm old and all the things that come along with it, the grays, the eyesight, I can't hear anymore.
But my husband says, I'm an oldie, but goody.
Yeah, that's right.
So, haughty.
Listen, that's a Survivor classic, okay?
Yeah, well, okay, sadly, you guys, because of the.
the sad way the show ended, you missed out on something really special.
Danielle has been practicing a TikTok dance, and we were going to come out dancing like Rick Devin.
But I felt like the tone was inappropriate because it was Ozzy's funeral.
So should she do it?
Okay.
Do you want us to introduce you again so you can come out to the TikTok dance?
Well, guys, I was practicing it last night.
I don't have it all down.
I think we need to do it.
But I save it.
Do I need to do the TikTok dance?
Yeah, I don't know what it is.
I haven't rehearsed it, though.
Okay, she's going to have to show us what I'm going to show you guys.
Oh, you have a chain too on your phone.
Well, okay, listen.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's why I was like, you know what?
It's okay.
And glasses.
We all like chains.
Even if lesbians like chains, I can be a lesbian.
This is impromptu.
I didn't know.
Everyone on this stage is a lesbian.
Yes.
All right, hold on.
Okay.
Own it.
Hold on.
So yeah.
She's looking up the dance.
Okay, okay, guys, ready?
So listen, I'm not even joking.
Like, I...
So wait, is there a music cue that's coming with this?
Well, yeah, it's to a song and it's supposed to be like really popular right now.
I don't do the TikTok stuff, but...
All right.
Okay, hold on.
There's a seven count.
Yes, okay.
This is so not going how I thought it was going to go.
It feels one, two, three, four, five.
four, five.
This is like dance mom from half.
This is killing for the people listening to the podcast.
You are,
you are just missing out because on the podcast.
Frank the Tink.
They move their hips and their hands.
Amazing.
This is how she dances when she finds an idol.
This is how I get down on show.
Okay, we love it.
Wow.
All right, give it up for Danielle's TikTok dance.
So listen, this is what happens when I leave my husband and my kids for a night.
It's still going.
It's still going.
I do dances by myself in my hotel room.
Yes.
Yeah, I know.
I'm a weird.
I'm really glad we did that.
Yeah, I'm too.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I didn't know that was going to happen.
Well, this is kind of what it's like.
This is what Russell felt like when it was like, you two came up with something.
And I'm like, wait, what's going on?
What's happened? Why didn't you tell me the plan before?
He was so terrified of us.
Yeah, we were going to bring you a fedora.
Yes.
Yeah, and some socks, but we forgot.
Yeah.
Sorry.
Yes.
Okay.
I'd love to start to talk about this episode of Survivor, if that's okay.
I took notes.
Yes, okay.
Wait, I want to, just let's address the Aussie situation.
Yes.
You know what?
I was literally just thinking.
thinking how of a lovely, like he's, Ozzie's played such a great game, I think, up until this point.
He's still regulated and like he's so much, so self-aware.
And he's not reactionary like he was before.
And he's not playing, he's not letting his ego get in the way up until this episode.
It's all like Oz turned back into Ozzy.
Like all the things that he worked on just went right out the door.
Yeah.
Right?
Well, I don't know, was it his ego?
What do you think, Parvety?
I think, oh, I think sometimes people get stuck on Survivor.
And Ozzy needed Surrey, and he made that very clear throughout the whole season
that Surrey was really telling him what to do.
Yeah.
And that was very helpful for him.
So the one time he cannot talk to Surrey, he voted out, is also very telling.
about Ozzy's strategy.
They were a...
Yeah.
Like, he's just, he's been known to,
he just feels very safe and goes out with idols in his pocket.
Like he just talked about having the dream.
Yes.
He had the dream.
He had a dream that he went home with an idol in his pocket.
His father from beyond the grave came to tell him.
Yes.
Play your idol son.
Yeah.
What did you think about that?
Well, you know, for Ozzy,
It just seemed like that he kind of was getting ahead of himself.
It felt like that he was feeling it.
I think he thought, hey, I'm actually, I'm going to win this season.
And I think that he was just getting too far out ahead of him.
I mean, I thought that Ozzy was so fun in this season.
Can we give it up for Ozzy?
I thought he played a great game, too.
I never thought, though, that Ozzy was winning this season in my time, watching this season.
Did either of you start to feel like that?
Oh, maybe Ozzie has it.
this.
Never.
No, but I
do think his gameplay
was so much more improved
than the last times
that he has played.
I mean, he
he's a, I mean,
the fact that he
just talked to Aubrey
and told her
all of the, all his game
plans for the higher
rest of the game.
In that moment,
just therapist.
Like, yes.
She's like, I know.
Aubrey,
That was so good.
Absolutely.
So good.
He just keeps pouring his little heart out.
But I got to say, I have had prophetic dreams on Survivor.
Like, when you're playing Survivor, if you have a dream that you remember, it matters.
Yeah.
Have you guys ever had that?
I had dream about, like, donuts and peanut butter.
Yeah.
Not joking.
No, I had one on Australian Survivor.
Oh, yeah?
What happened?
Yeah.
Yeah, and I knew that Kirby had voted out David,
because David and I played dealer-no-deal together, so people knew.
Yes, remember that?
Give it up for Dondy.
Bring back Dondy.
They love it.
Yeah, and my dream, I was like, oh, it's so clear to me that this is what went down.
And then later I addressed it with her, and she was like, yep, that's what happened.
because sometimes if you have those dreams that stick in your head,
you better listen to them.
Do not go out with an idol in your pocket.
If your ghost of your ancestor comes to you and tells you to play it,
make sure you do that and listen to your dreams because I'm telling you,
listen to your instinct.
The spirits are speaking.
They're speaking right now in this very moment.
Also, one more thing.
Rizzo is, he dresses like Boston Rob.
Has anyone else noticed that?
I was gonna be him.
He's like a little brother.
He's like, yeah.
Yeah, I was gonna be him for my drag show tomorrow night, but he's too close to Boston Rob,
and I've already done that look.
Yeah.
You already have the outfit, though.
I, well, no, I borrowed it.
Give it rid of the hat.
Yeah, I borrowed it from a queen.
I can dress up as Boston Rob tomorrow.
No, you be Rizzo.
Oh, Rizzo.
Okay.
That's right.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Rob, who will you be?
Um, I'm just,
I'm just gonna be me.
Boring.
Boring.
So boring.
Did you think that Ozzy is done now?
Do you think this is it?
This was the final time for Survivor for Ozzy.
Yes?
This was it.
Oh, I heard some nose.
Bring him back.
Bring him back.
Ozzie or Joe? Which one?
Okay.
Poor Ozzy.
You guys make it too easy.

We've got a ton of great guests that we're going to bring out to talk with us tonight.
So we've got some people here to help us break down this tribal council.
So let's bring them out.
We're going to slide down.
Let's start with Dr. Evie Jagoda, Andy Ruita, Kelly Nalbandian, and Lauren O'Connell.
How are you?
Yes.
What's happening?
Rob is looking great, right?
Oh.
All right.
Lauren, good to see you.
Hey, Kelly.
How are you?
Not getting kicked off this time.
Yeah, we're going to stick or stay.
co-hosts, yes.
I've learned his lesson, thank you, whoever sent those
emails here. Thank you all so much for being here.
Evie, split tribal council. What's your reaction?
Do you bring me here to torture me?
Every live show in New York
is a freaking split tribal. It's torture.
Fuck the split tribal.
You know, it just sucks. You can be in a good position.
But at the end of the day, if you, you, I do,
Even as someone who feels quite screwed by it, I could have gotten out of that situation,
but because of mistakes I'd made previously and at the time, I couldn't.
And Surrey could, and that's the difference.
She could.
You know, it was the great war dog, or maybe it was Aubrey Brocko, who said,
the theme is not on trial, but did we like this twist?
Audience?
No.
Are we being results-oriented?
Yes.
Okay.
The results could have been worse though.
Yeah.
Fair.
Yes.
Kelly, was this a fair twist in the show?
No.
Yeah.
I mean, this was like Jonathan basically got to become the middle player
without doing any of the work.
How many twists on Survivor?
I will just ask.
If Tiffany won the challenge, do we like the twist?
Yes.
Yes.
Okay.
That would have been way more fun to watch.
I got to say, also, what are his, like, medals
that he's won, didn't he say, like, he's won a bunch of...
Is he's an Olympian?
World records?
Yeah, so, it's a push-up record.
A world record for push-ups.
Is that true?
Is that accurate?
Pull-ups, pull-ups.
More than one world record for that, or?
We're enough to look that up.
He, of all of...
We're on stage with a record tire.
I mean, two Survivor wins.
There you go.
That's a record.
Higher.
That's a record.
Yes.
Of all of Jonathan's records, that Survivor is the thing,
which is not really a record.
I guess he's the two-time winner of this challenge.
This is the thing he's the most proud of.
All right. Okay.
You know, Lauren, it's so nice to see you.
It's so nice to see you.
I don't think I've seen you since our season finale.
Yes, Lauren, what have you been up?
You're in New York now?
I am in New York now, yes, moved like three weeks ago.
Yeah, what are you doing?
I am just in some marketing, event planning,
and hanging out in New York,
getting used to New York from the L.A. vibe.
Very different.
Yeah.
Okay, well, this is such, it's a perfect time for you to be here,
because this is such a heavy edge of extinction season.
I'm here for Team Aubrey.
Oh, Team Aubrey.
Any question.
Yes.
And what a big night again for Aubrey,
as that Ozzy had loose lips and gave her the embers,
much like Chris Underwood had when he came back from the edge of extinction,
to get the fire going, to get out Ozzy.
Absolutely.
I think it's so indicative of how.
how easily Aubrey can integrate herself into social situations.
I think that Aubrey's superpower is her intuition,
and I think people can feel that,
and so they feel comfortable telling them things,
like, I would love for you to sit on the jury and vote for me.
Yes.
Like, that's an insane thing to say,
but Ozzy feels comfortable telling her that
because she's made him feel comfortable.
And I think she also has the read on Rizzo,
and everybody else in the tribe, to be like,
so this is what Ozzie said, let me tell you all about it,
and she read it correctly.
Now, Andy, I have to say, I was thinking of you during the episode.
Because this reminded me, remember that time when you told Rachel,
when she was going to get voted out that you told her everything that you did
and like to try to get her ready to go to the jury?
I did do, did that.
You remember that?
I did that.
No, to be fair, at the end game, I went up to Rachel.
I said, Rachel, maybe, maybe I'm not so bad.
And she eliminated me.
So I think it's very clear this very likely strategy to backfire for sure.
What was going through your head to do that?
So here.
I do think if I'm going to be Ozzy's lawyer here and my own lawyer as well,
I will say that there are so many survivor players who decide to wait until final
tribal counsel to state their case.
Appropriate.
So often you see that it's not enough.
So often you see that it's not enough.
Because there's a zero vote finalist
at every final travel council, right?
So, I mean, it's two different.
If I get ahead of the game, I'll get at least one vote.
Okay, in my situation, I felt like I was in the end game, right,
with room to grow in terms of jury equity, right?
So I was swinging for the fences.
In my opinion, it was a gamble that didn't pay off.
With Ozzy, the thing is, he was at the final nine, right?
He's playing a great game, and I don't think he would have trouble at a final trouble counsel unless he was sitting next to Surrey.
So I think that was a big part of his strategy was to try to get ahead of the game sitting next to Surrey.
I would just not sit next to Surrey.
I think that would be the better strategy.
I feel like you guys would know better.
Has telling someone you're going to vote them out ever been good jury management?
I would say.
Don't do that.
Absolutely not.
I wouldn't advise it.
Survivor 101.
Although Russell did say
to Sandra and
Courtney, he said, you'd be
surprised how much it works.
Remember, he did say that.
Yeah, Russell, that three. You're either with me or you're
against. Russell is his own animal.
But we're, I mean,
he's crazy. And I think
there's some crazy guys this
season too.
Yeah.
Very, a lot of
emotion. Yes.
And deep feeling men.
Think with their heart and not necessarily their mind.
Why is Joe so sad for winning $2 million?
He has to keep looking at Devin's face and it makes him hurt inside.
It makes him upset.
Disgusting.
Lauren, Joe said that Rick Devin's game is inappropriate.
Disgusting, he said.
Yes.
But he used the word, I think it's inappropriate what he's doing.
It's filthy.
Yeah.
What do you?
you think? It sucks to be on the losing end of a Rick Devon's play. I can attest to that one.
Yeah, I think it's so interesting to watch the ways in which Rick entertains the jury and the
audience in his efforts to get out of whatever situation he has already caused. And I am sure
that is extremely frustrating for Joe to watch, who has used to be like,
like, so this is what we're doing, and everyone says, yes, Joe.
That is what we're doing.
So, inappropriate?
No.
Frustrating?
Yes.
Controlling.
Heavy?
Yeah, I was just going back to Ozzy for one sec.
No, you're not going to.
You think that Rick is controlling?
No, no, no, I wouldn't say that about Rick.
Right, you think Joe is controlling.
I would say that.
I think that Joe probably.
Trying to be.
He wishes.
I don't get that from him at all.
Well, he's so rigid.
He's like, I can't think that way.
He's just, no, he's.
I think that.
I also want to think Joe's worst nightmare.
Yeah.
Like he's like, that's not what we're doing.
That was not the plan.
And Rick is like, so I'm going to blow up every single tribal council.
Open to other options.
Often.
In flexibility, also a tragic flaw on Survivor.
You have to be able to adapt.
That has been such a great dynamic this season, though, going back to day one with Rick
Devons versus Joe.
I think it's kind of, we've hit the upside of what could happen when you put two people
playing diametrically opposite games.
And the fact that they both lasted this long playing so differently has been
really, really cool. Yeah. And Rick is on the bottom and having the best time. Yeah, he's just,
his playfulness is so, it's incredible. Like, to be able to go out there and just play the way that he's
playing. But I honestly, I really think that you can see that he has such a beautiful relationship
with his wife, right? Because he tells us in his confessionals that he told his wife that he was going to
play this playful game this time around and have fun.
And then when he got those love letters, it ignited this fire in him.
And he went Beast Mode.
And then when he-
Remember when he walked into the tribal council?
He had the conversation with Aubrey and he was like, I'm going to blow up this tribal.
And Aubrey was like, so my.
And then she sat quiet, like an assassin and let him do all the dirty work.
It was brilliant, Aubrey.
But he is just, you know, he's just having so much fun with this game.
and watching it from a player's point of view,
I'm like, oh my gosh,
that would be so freeing to be able to play that way.
But playing from a fan's point of view,
it can be frustrating as a player point of you too
because you're like, if I was on the island with him,
I think I want to just, you know,
put it back, flashy guys.
Normalize men crying on TV.
It's nice.
He's a crier.
He's letting out.
Men would literally do anything but go to therapy.
Yeah, but crying for the right reasons.
Thank you.
He's there for the right reasons.
He loves his wife and he misses her so much.
That's good. Yeah.
Cry about that.
He is so full of a little.
No, but he's, yeah.
I love his dancing too.
I love the whole dancing segment.
He did the teeth.
That was so cute.
Rick Devons, get on TikTok.
What are you waiting for?
I know exactly what producer
probably took him to do that segment.
Yeah.
You know, Kelly, this was also
not to bury the lead
Emily's boot episode.
I know.
And Emily talked a lot of
lot about the parallels between her
getting voted out in season 45
and then her vote out
tonight. What did you think of Emily's
vote out here tonight? I feel like Emily
was playing like 4D chess because
she's traumatized from her last
one. She kind of was, to me,
it was sort of like an almost
Eric immunity necklace
five and she was doing it to three.
I was like, I don't know. That's not going to work.
This is pretty bold. But, you know,
I feel for Emily, I think she's a great player.
She's always a chaos agent. But
You know, she has to do something to try to save herself here.
It's unfortunate that she's in a small group with Sri,
who, as I just watched three episodes in a row,
I'm kind of just like the whole time.
I don't know how she's doing it.
That's also probably the optimal way to use it, an extra vote,
which doesn't always move the needle.
Yeah, I was going to say how many times...
You were talking...
Yeah, how many times does it actually matter, the extra vote?
Like, this was a really...
True.
I would go to the fans for that.
Okay.
And also to do a re-boat and use your extra vote again.
Has that ever happened?
So in season 41, Evie, the extra vote did play a factor, right?
That's right.
In the split tribal.
Yeah.
I wasn't there.
But I do remember that happening that Chan and Ricard did that.
I'm so proud of my girl for using her advantage properly.
Yeah.
Yes.
That's how you do it on Survivor.
That's how you do it on Survivor.
Is there ever a world that you think?
that Rick doesn't play the idol for himself in that scenario?
Absolutely not. No way. I'm so glad for him that he did. Like that just you have,
if you're in the split tribal you have to play, you have to play. I was nervous for like one.
Guys, can we talk about the coin flip with with would you ever be like, yeah, I'm gonna do it.
I think if I was gonna go. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah on the bottom. If you're on the bottom
coin. Yeah. Like it's that positive mindset that he constantly talks about and it's the truth. You have a positive
mindset think good things happen. Create your own luck. I've said it every day. Right?
Every day? Fail up. You know, you guys, I have something to talk about that's not about this
episode. What is it? Okay. But it is sort of breaking news. Breaking news, okay. Oh, I know what
you're going to say. This is breaking news. Danielle and I talked about it in the car when I was on the way
to New York City. And it's about Stephanie LaGrosa. Uh-oh. Okay. Oh, I thought. Good night everybody.
Thank you.
We love you.
We love New York.
Yes.
The clock stopped.
It's time for me to go.
Yes.
Okay, so we know she had to hold her arm up for an hour.
Yes.
What's that?
Parvite's like, give me two days.
Please.
She was like crying about it because her shoulder hurt because it got dislocated.
And like I dislocated, that is inaccurate.
I saw the clip and I'm like, that was me.
Yeah, it was.
And that is ingrained.
my mind. That's why I love Survivor.
That clip right there. That entire...
I did not dislocate her
shoulder. I know. That's what I'm saying.
Why do they keep showing it? Like,
I raped her. Fuck it.
Parvety, you're rent-free. Come on.
They're all thinking about it. So you
were not the person that injured
Stephanie. That was Danielle. It was me.
It was me.
I'm not proud of it, but I was, you know.
She's proud of it. I'm intense.
I mean... Watch out anybody, okay?
All right.
For our panel, anything else?
I just want to say I did wear my lesbian carabiner.
Yes.
I love it.
I mean, like, as a lifelong lesbian, I've never had a chain part.
You guys have none of the same belt going on.
We're wearing the same belt.
Welcome to the crew now.
The chain is a little bit of a lesbian.
Lauren, where's your chain?
Yeah.
Andy, will you get a chain?
Really wrong.
The LGBT.
All right.
Everyone's jealous.
Andy, Evie.
Lauren, thank you so much.
Thank you guys.

Yeah, we're having fun, right?
Yeah.
I'm having so much.
Are you guys having fun?
This is amazing.
Yeah.
Okay.
We are really going to be having fun in a moment because we have a great panel coming out.
First, let's bring out Survivor's new hottest it couple, Teeny and Stephanie Berger.
So sweet.
Welcome.
So good to see you.
Hi, Tini.
Hey, Steph.
What's up, everyone?
And that's not all.
We also have with us the great...
Jonathan Penner.
The best lesbian here.
How are you, buddy?
So good to see you.
What an entrance.
Oh, can we borrow that?
Can we borrow that?
I don't know.
I'd like my hat back, please.
Where's our lesbian family photo?
Come on, us three.
How are you?
Wait, you need the microphone.
Thank you so much for that
extraordinarily warm welcome. Thank you.
Wait, do we know why you're not on 50?
No.
We don't fucking know.
Who knows?
They lose your number?
Who's responsible?
No, you know what I think happened?
Mike, you know, they asked Mike White, rightly so.
Mike White said yes, rightly so.
And that, you know, then Ozzy became the next obvious guy and coach.
And once those three guys were in the mix, I think that.
I think you're more of the Jonathan archetype.
No.
I could see you as a Jonathan.
With the dancing Phoenix, that was a little grotesque, I think.
There's only room for one
You can do that peck dance?
Yeah, I don't know.
Dancing.
I don't know.
Anyway.
Yeah.
Do you want to make the Phoenix dance now?
How about that they're not fat, they're girthy?
What?
Remember that?
The grubs that are you?
That was an Emily quote.
That was an Emily quote.
Sorry.
All right.
What is you?
What is you?
What is you?
No, no, no, no, no.
No, no.
Stephanie, teeny, how's it going?
It's going great.
It's great.
Did you guys just get off a cruise?
Kind of.
We look like we just broke out of jail.
But like a French prison.
Yeah, no.
Actually, kind of.
With fashion.
Or like clown.
The White Lotus season four.
Yeah.
Is that a spoiler?
Yeah.
What?
Is it the White Lotus season four?
Oh, yeah.
I'm sorry.
Oh, my.
I am so pissed.
You're on the White Lotus?
Yeah, Teeny is...
No, no, tell them about your character.
No, no, no, no, no.
Stream our podcast, you'll find out.
Penner, this was such a big Ozzy night,
and this is really, maybe the culmination of Ozzy's journey.
You were there watching it from the start.
What did you make of as a storyteller?
The maybe end the climax of the Ozzy story?
Well, I'm not sure that's true.
I bet they'd have him back at some point, right?
To see, I mean, here's the question.
Can a tiger, you know, leopard change their spots?
This is the fucking heartbreaking, sorry, heartbreaking part of the story to me.
It's like you go out, we all go out.
And can you help but shoot yourself in the foot?
He played the same, ultimately the same game.
And as he was talking, we were all like, no, shut up, shut up, hell up.
And he couldn't shut up.
He couldn't do it.
It's Shakespeare.
Literally, I was happy.
It is.
Character is story.
That is the truth.
And we all watched him hoping, fingers crossed, we were so happy all season long as he seemed to be playing a different game.
And he ended the game on his own terms.
So we left for five minutes.
It was five minutes.
God damn.
I really identify with Ozzy.
And it's not just because he looks like he was plucked off a sidewalk in Bushwick.
just like I do.
But because I feel like if you gave me
five goes at this, five tries,
I would come out the fifth time and be like,
okay, I'm going to try the strategy now.
I'm ready.
And then the strategy would be like,
guys, I really want to win, please.
Please let me win.
And then I wouldn't play my idol.
And then that would be that.
So I love Ozzy.
I love everything he's given.
He was really going with the groveling strategy.
Yeah.
I've never heard someone walk up to another player
and say, you know how bad I want to win.
Like, that's incredible.
That's incredible.
Guys, I think it just goes to show, like, you can't even, no matter how much work you do on yourself,
like, it was clear that he, like, evolved as a human and did a lot of work on himself.
The circumstances from the game, like that fight or flight mode, you just can't sustain it.
It's just going to bring you back to the core things that you have once experienced.
And that's exactly what happened to him.
Like, he was on such a good, right?
Like, he got such a good past.
Yes, yes, this is very important.
and this is Surrey 101.
The reason why Surrey is so effective at Survivor
is because her nervous system is so regular.
She is the most regulated person you will ever be around
and it's cozy.
And it feels so nice.
And you're like, everybody just wants to be around that
because everyone's losing their minds
and panicking and melting down.
And then on top of that, she has a blanket.
It's true.
Okay.
You know who else I think is incredibly regulated and played that way?
And it was beautiful to watch.
Aubrey.
I think you.
Stand up, Aubrey.
Aubrey, stand up.
Because girl, a round of applause.
I got to stand up for this.
I know you talked about doing work on yourself, right?
And you, it showed.
Like, no, just like, I'm not saying that in a bad way.
Like, we all want to do work.
When you experience Survivor, you want to do work on yourself.
Go back to us.
Go back.
Is this a live tribal now?
We're not doing a live tribal.
I want to talk.
And you'll tell her.
Bring it back.
I'm really proud of her.
She's doing great.
Wear her emotions on her sleeve.
Like she was able to compartmentalize her emotions.
And that is so hard, especially being a mom.
Like she was able to play such a strategic game without bringing any emotion into it.
And I think it's beautiful.
And she stayed regulated.
And it was incredible to work.
watch. So hats off to you, Aubrey.
I think you've been an incredible player.
Yeah. No one controls
Danielle, okay?
Yeah. Especially not you, Rob.
He yelled at me.
That wasn't yelling.
But Parvety, I think that also
part of this was Ozzy had an
idol, too. Like,
this was not a situation where
okay, you know, Emily is sort
of in a really tough spot,
really nothing that she can do here.
Ozzy just has to play the idol
and that this is also part of his history
because in Micronesia
he's also voted out with the idol.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Remember that.
Isn't that like, that's kind of how he gets the idol
in this game in the first place, right?
Like, someone gave him that idol
hoping they might get it back.
Yeah, it's almost like
Genevieve knew something.
Like, you think it's going to happen.
That's a really...
Wait, Genevieve was right.
If only.
Like, literally.
It was right.
What was I going to say?
Sorry.
Oh, yes.
Just a fucking stick.
Remember that?
Not even the idol.
Wait, it's come and gone multiple times.
It'll come back.
Yeah.
Was it Ozzy in the...
Yeah, it was.
It was.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, but, Penner, do you feel like...
I like that the fact, because there's been such a big part of this season has been like,
well, I'm not going to let that happen to me again from all of these players who come back
with these wounds from Survivor.
Was it, was it hard for Ozzy to, and obviously it was, to not be like.
Oh, I remembered it.
Yes.
Awesome.
That was a beautiful stall.
This is why Rob invites me to come on its podcast.
Okay, now I've forgotten it again.
We actually remember.
Mombrates.
No, actually, I'm not concussed this time.
I promise.
Okay, I always say this.
When you have an advantage or an idol, you cannot sit on it.
You have to play it because it gives people this false sense of comfort or security.
And as we know, this is Ozzy's tragic flaw.
Like, he already has a false sense of comfort.
So now the idol has added another layer of false security.
that it's like, no, you would be better off without that.
Much better off.
So just get rid of it.
Flush it out.
First thing.
Yeah, he, but he said it.
I trusted you guys.
That was his whole thing.
He was going to play a social game this time, and he did, and he, and it bit him in the ass.
But he trusted me, too.
Well, he's a fool.
I don't know.
I mean, he, you know, he gave his trust to the wrong people.
Every time.
Many such cases.
Every time, you know.
It's fascinating to watch him not play the, I don't know, the fast-paced turning and twisting game that Rizzo seems to have mastered.
You know, I mean, I don't know how you guys feel about it.
I couldn't, I'm not sure I could do that.
You know, I want my comfort too.
I just want to, who am I voting for?
Is it okay?
Can I sleep now?
You would never get that blanket from three.
I don't have the energy.
And this is 26 days.
It's every effing night is a tribal.
And, you know, it's really stressful,
which is why having Surrey,
not only for herself, that kind of calm,
but to have that with you.
Mama Bear.
You feel like, oh, my God, yes, I'm at home.
I can feel calm, you know.
Butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.
As she's sitting there, you watch her face,
and she's like,
ah, that's the best.
I love, like, her, the way that she, you know,
when she's interacting with other people, like on the hammock or whatever,
she does this thing where she just keeps her face facing forward,
and she side talks out of her mouth.
And I'm like, we know.
They know you're gaming.
Like, what is that?
It's the best.
It's hilarious.
Also, I'm so curious if Rizzo was ever able to share the blanket at all.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She was very hoardery with that blanket in Australia.
Okay.
Penner, we saw a couple weeks ago, Jeff did the challenge,
and that they showed the montage of everybody getting trash talked by Jeff.
You know, I was just curious.
I think, you know, we talked about whether you could have been there for season 50,
but what a great moment it would have been if you were there in that,
challenge to trash talk back
to Jeff. I certainly would have.
Did you give any thought to what
you would have said to Jeff?
What the fuck, Jeff?
Dude, seriously, we're
trying to win a million dollars and you're
jackassing around?
Right? And you're going to tell the world,
oh, I had no idea it was so hard.
After 25
years and every challenge
that you witnessed, you had no idea.
Oh, my arms hurt so bad.
I would have given them a month.
A ton of shit.
I enjoyed that scene so much.
Do any of the other people here,
did you have FOMO to get the chance to tell Jeff off in the challenge?
100%.
I probably would have used it as an opportunity to tell him off
about things unrelated entirely to the challenge.
I would have been like, wait,
why is Billy Eilish a part of this?
She clearly doesn't seem to want to be also if we're going caught up.
She hasn't even ever watched a...
One season, one episode.
Yep.
I would have been shocked to be there.
Absolutely shocked.
Okay.
All right.
Anything else that you all want to say about this episode or Survivor 50 while we have you?
Yes?
Anything.
A personal favor.
Because I, honestly, I haven't been in front of 1,500 people.
No, and this is serious.
I'm going to bring it down for one second, honestly.
is ALS Awareness Month.
On the count of three,
is this being recorded?
Yes.
On the count of three,
would you all join me
in saying fuck ALS?
May I?
One, two, three.
Fuck ALA.
You know, I'm going to...
Thank you.
You know what?
I'm going to throw off
the whole rundown of the show.
Penner, I'm so happy that you're here.
Will you stay for another segment?
Okay.
All right.
Stephanie Tini, thank you so much.
Thank you, right.
Thank you guys.
I think you're going to get some happy email.
You guys rule.
You love you.
Three lesbians right here.
Okay.
All right.
All right.
All right.
You know, we have talked so much about the second tribal council,
and we've hardly talked about the first tribal councils.
Let's get in some more talk about it.
Let's bring in
Our Survivor 43 friends, it's Lindsay, James Jones, and Eric Stein.
Oh, I didn't know that Eric Stein was going to be here.
I complained my way onto the panel.
Yes.
Yes, okay.
All right.
Lindsay, how are you doing?
I mean, I would be doing better if the Sixers won tonight.
I was kind of hoping you'd ask me up on stage before the end.
You're brave.
Oh, I know.
Oh, I know.
But it takes a lot of nerve to like come up on stage and wear this tonight.
But enough about me.
Robert, congratulations.
Thank you so much.
James, how are you?
I mean, what?
I wanted the Sixers to win, of course.
But I'm happy to celebrate you, Robin.
I'm on the stage with legends that I'm kind of like starstruck.
So I'm happy to be here.
Thanks for an opportunity.
And yeah, let's talk about some survivor.
Yeah.
And we're, you know, they have this.
list of reality masterminds, but they, we have the real mastermind, Eric Stein.
It's true, I did go on a murderous rampage last summer and fall through the Big Brother House,
but I have since resolved that. But I'm going to say what these guys are too humble to say themselves.
It is a complete disgrace that Jonathan and Rob were not on Survivor 50.
Both of them belong there.
They are core to the Survivor's story,
and they had more and new stories to tell.
And they're some of the best.
And the show is worse off for the fact that they were not on it.
So they're not going to say it.
Thank you very much, Eric.
Thank you.
Also, Danielle and I are fine that you didn't say that about us.
It's okay.
Don't worry about it.
We're tough.
Yeah, we can take it.
Okay, well, let's talk about this first vote,
which ends up sending Emily home
in the episode.
And
Serie is going to play
her extra vote.
Was this just a vote split all along?
Was there ever any doubt
that Surrey was going to play her votes here?
Her extra vote?
Seri's too smart.
She's going to play it.
She knows.
You don't sit on an advantage like that.
She listens to her intuition.
She follows it.
Yeah.
Unlike somebody else we know.
James, it seemed like
in the story that we got
that nobody really knew
Surrey had the extra vote, but it was almost like that
Surrey, Jonathan, Tiffany, and
Ceree's extra vote.
Like, it's like they were on the same page to split the vote
to 2-2.
I mean, Ceree's a great player.
Like, looking at the board, she's trying to keep control.
At the same time, she's working with Jonathan.
Jonathan's very comfortable.
Jonathan went to Ceree for permission to walk to the other beach.
Like, like, let's just say, he was immune,
and he's asking permission to take out someone on the other beach.
Like, that's crazy.
So, with that being said, it shows how locked in that she is.
But also, it shows how flexible everybody is in the game.
And everybody sees the pass forward, and everybody here is playing.
And everybody in her head has a four that they're moving forward with at 7 now.
So I'm excited to see what's happening.
I don't love Ozzie being out of the game, forcery.
Agreed.
I think she's lost a soldier.
She lost her only soldier, I think.
Ozzy would take Ceree to the end.
I think that was like, I think he's the one person that would take her to the end.
Other than that, she's probably going to make fire.
We've seen that play out.
Guess who beat her.
This one.
So who, what does Ceree do without Ozzie?
I mean, that's the question, right?
She's going to have to convince someone to take her to final three,
and that's an uphill battle for her.
Riz God.
Yeah, Rizzo.
It might be her only shot.
Well, the other person that's really come on here after the merge has been Tiffany,
where that Tiffany...
Honestly, Tiffany might take her to the end.
Yeah?
I could see Tiffany take her, sorry.
They have a nice relationship.
They do have a good relationship.
And Tiffany was somebody who...
She was my winner pick for the season because I thought that people would not think about her.
And I thought that...
But she was in such big trouble.
And she's come back so nicely where she was not even immune.
and nobody was even trying to get the vote on Tiffany.
So is Tiffany now replacing Ozzy and the Rizzo-Seri?
Tiffany trifecta?
Rizzo?
Correct.
Yeah.
Rizzo?
Just blink twice.
When soldiers go home and soldiers get the elevated, it's like Sopranos,
Ceri is sitting there, she's the godmother.
She has soldiers ready, you know, to step up.
Actually.
And that's kind of how it rolls.
I feel like it didn't upset the hierarchy too much.
it made everybody feel like they had agency
and it's kind of a shot of Surrey
but not really so that makes them kind of feel happy
because when someone is dominating the game
people really start wanting to make moves
when they feel like they can't
so they feel like they got one on her
so this probably makes everybody
go underground a little bit
hopefully she can pull it through her
yeah this was the first night you started to hear
Ceri's name as now we're getting
into the final nine and now we jump ahead
to the final seven
where Rick and Emily were trying
to take a big shot I just wonder
now that the name is out there.
Is this a problem for Surrey?
It's coming.
Her demise.
I can feel it.
Danielle.
I don't want her to leave.
I don't know for sure.
I'm just saying, guys, I love her.
I don't want her to leave.
Oh my God.
Get off the stage.
And seven people left?
Yes.
So there's another double, I mean, unless it's a final.
I think, yeah, I think next week will probably be a double boot episode again.
And then we'll have five for the.
the finale. But like which
celeb is going to come do it?
We don't know.
Maybe Billy
Alex. Like Beyonce.
Hermit the frog.
Hey guys.
It's me.
He just comes out of
the water. Yeah. Lindsay, did
anybody even care what Rick and Emily
were doing with the idol?
Was the
was the goose cooked no matter
what? And they just like were just
doing lip service to Rick and Emily.
Yes.
Yeah.
I mean, they're smart enough to know the numbers,
and everyone knew what was going on behind the scenes.
What I want to talk about is why are people just now bringing up Surrey's name now?
I mean.
No, she knows that.
We know that.
We know she's great.
My question is...
Terri has a force field around her, unless she's with me,
and then the votes go to her.
She's the master manipulator.
She makes everybody feel...
And I get it.
Super comfortable.
It's insane that she gets underestimated.
Why?
I think when people, like,
Ceree is the type of player socially where she's going to present a solution to you that helps you out.
But you also.
You have a microphone.
But you also know that, you know you can beat her, like she's not going to be an immunity threat.
So you always can have that vote.
So when someone forms a plan against her, you always have her vote against that plan,
which makes it easy for you to play.
So when someone makes it move against Ceree, it kind of just like, as those people,
go down, that's good, and you can still probably beat her at the end because everybody
knows you don't want to sit next to her. So it's kind of like, why take that person out?
Yeah, but you've got the best of the best in every reality survivor game, saying she's the best
to never win. Like, why do we continue to give her the opportunity to get so close?
So that's the thing with Cere's difficulty, her challenge points are the beginning of the game,
she has to survive the first vote, and then she's good. As soon as she survives the first
vote. She's solid all the way
to the point where people are like, I'm
picking who's going to sit next to me. And that's
her second pain point
that we need to see her overcome, Danielle.
Wait,
I love how you talk.
Her challenge point
and her pain point.
From whence did this language
come?
This is directly
from my book. It's called Nice Girls Don't
Win. Check it out.
It's a great read.
In bookstores, every
everywhere.
Yeah.
I have a couple of bones to pick with you about that, but we'll talk about that later.
Okay.
All right.
Anything else from our panel talking about this first tribal council?
Eric.
I have two really minor points.
I think a big part of why no one says Ceres name is because you want to win yourself,
but if it's not going to be you, then let it be Ceree.
That's palatable to everybody there, right?
You don't want to be on a bad season.
You don't want someone you don't like or who you think is less.
or who you think is less than the season to win the show.
And if it's not going to be you, you look around and say,
I could live with that.
No, that's spoken like a new school player.
Yeah.
Well, I was on in 2007.
Well, what's gone with your brain?
So I actually have a point to that.
When I was going through casting in the new school era,
the idea was like no villains because at the end of the game,
we want everyone to want whoever's sitting there to win.
And what I've going to realize watching season 50 is...
Wait, that's how they casted your cast?
I maybe shouldn't have said that.
They said we only want nice people?
Oh, well, that makes a lot of sense now.
I mean, it's not a coincidence.
There's not a ton of villains in the new season.
I tried.
They didn't show it.
I tried.
I really did.
There's a whole chapter about this in the tribe and I have spoken.
But my point is, is what I've come to notice in season 50.
is that I'm really enjoying watching old school
bring in the nastiness of Survivor,
and it's really fun to watch, right?
I mean, we all said we wanted, like, niceness,
and now we're kind of like, the villains are great again.
Who said that?
Penner, in a couple of weeks,
we're going to be back together right here in New York City
at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Can you give a quick plug for what we're doing next month?
Folks, come to, it's not going to be quite like this, $40.
It's going to be, unfortunately, a little bit more.
Come to the Tribeca Festival, Rob and Tini and I, and Kyle, and Camilla,
and somebody that we've been talking a lot about, Surrey,
will be together.
We have an extraordinary group of non-playing guests as well.
That's all I can say.
please go to Tribecafestival.com, buy some tickets.
It's going to be fucking fantastic.
Okay.
June 6, June 6, 6, 6, 26.
Jeff is going to send a thing in CBS.
All right, everybody, give it up for Panor and Lizzie and James and Eric.
Thank you so much.
All right.
This is a big, big coup for us.
Because, you know, Survivor has had lots of special guest stars.
in this season, and we are so lucky to have one of them joining us right here tonight.
Let's give it up for Billy Eilish is here.
Billy Eilish!
Billy's here, Billy, why don't...
I don't really...
Get in the middle.
This is kind of awkward.
Right in the middle.
I'll sit literally wherever.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Billy, I'll sit right here next to...
I'm going to sit over here.
Whatever.
Wow, this is so fun.
Wow, you look great.
Isleish is here.
Billy Elish, we know
you are
such a big fan of
Survivor.
What's it like for you to be here with
all the Survivor fans?
Is that this? Is that what this?
My Uber got here
seven or eight minutes.
That's what this is? Is this a
Survivor event? Yes, yes.
We just watched the big Survivor
episode and saw
one of the players
voted out with your
Billy Elish Boomerang Idol.
You heard about that? I know about that. You heard about that?
Yes. You do know about it.
You know about it. When did you learn about it?
We've been hearing about it since day one.
It's been a big part of the whole thing.
I thought you wrote letters to all the contestants.
I roll. I roll.
I wrote a letter to the contestants.
Yeah. So you wrote a letter to all the contestants.
They named the idol after you called the Billy Elish B.
Boomerang Idol.
I never said boom.
When they told me this, they never said boomerang.
I wouldn't have done it if it was boomerang.
You don't like boomerang?
I never liked boomerang.
You thought it was a bad idea, huh?
Phineas and I, we traveled in never Australia.
We never went to Australia.
I don't like a boomerang.
Are you afraid of them because they come back towards your face?
I've never, I've never liked anything that comes back at me.
I'd like to just put out in the world.
I'm Billy.
Whoa.
Oh, Billy.
Oh, no.
Not that.
Yeah.
Billy, so we know that you're one of the biggest celebrity super fans there are out there from Survivor.
Do you have any favorite Survivor players that you have really enjoyed watching?
Like anyone up here?
Yeah.
Yeah, like, to your right.
You were on Dundee?
Were you on Dundee?
I love Dundi.
I love Dundi.
I liked Hurley.
Yes.
I liked John Lundi.
John Locke had a good thing going for a minute.
Yeah.
I think, was it Sawyer?
Sawyer?
Yeah, I like Sawyer.
Yeah.
Is he here?
I don't know if Sawyer is here.
He actually probably made the next twist
that we're going to find out next week at Tribal Council.
Was I the biggest celebrity who did one of these?
Depends who you ask.
Yeah.
Sure.
Yeah.
I also, I have a question for you because you're such a huge fan and we saw, you know, the host, Jeff, who you know very well, right?
He has my number, yeah.
Okay.
Well, we saw him do a rap, which everyone was so excited about.
And you're a musician, do you think you could sing a song about Survivor?
Yeah.
I thank you for asking that.
You're welcome.
You're Surrey?
Are you Surrey?
My name is Surrey, yeah.
I'm at risk of, I don't want to demonetize this YouTube situation,
so I don't know if I sing.
Is it okay if I sing?
I think if you sing, I don't think we're going to get demonetized on YouTube.
But that was really thoughtful.
I don't think that they're going to flag it as like, is this the real song?
So considerate.
You can use the real song in your podcast?
Phineas will be so fucking mad if I get us in trouble.
Finiis is my brother.
He's my muse.
I thought it was your dog.
No, Phineas is my, Danielle, he's my muse, Phineas.
Yeah.
Yeah.
My muse.
Oh.
I'm doing this because I don't want to sing.
You're going to sing the song.
Did you make up any lyrics about what you love about Survivor?
I love.
Yeah.
Tell, yeah, about all the things you love about Survivor.
Did you watch your interview with, was it Amy?
Amy.
I did that the other day.
I did that the Spotify.
Did you watch the interview that you were on?
Yeah.
What did you think about it?
Don't you watch all your interviews?
Somebody named Sophie Ballardy keeps tagging me and stuff about IHop.
Do you know anything about that?
Do you know anything about the IHop post?
The IHop Idol.
Is that what it is?
You also made that.
I love IHop.
I love Phineas.
I love, I'm his muse.
Billy, did you just buy this shirt at Marshalls?
Yeah, I did.
I noticed.
How did you know?
How did you know?
I'm on like, if I return it.
I might return it.
Billy Ilish, who's going to win Survivor 50?
Surrey.
I think Surrey.
She won, she won twice.
already. I learned that from that nice version.
And then tell us real quick about your new project.
Hit them hard and soft. Hit them hard and soft is my movie. It's coming out, I think this week.
If you go see The Devil Wars Prada 2, you can go in while you go to the bathroom and pop in and you will see me singing my song.
I love Survivor. I love it. I love and Phineas is my muse.
Yes. All right, Billy Elish, stick around, okay?
All right.
We got one more panel that's going to come out and join us to talk.
Okay, here we go.
Here comes.
We've got Bianca and Thomas and Cedric.
Boo.
Boo.
No hugs anymore.
Yes.
How are you?
Come closer.
Okay.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Bianca.
Okay.
Thomas, have you ever worked with Billy Elish?
Yeah.
We were in an Uber pool.
Remember the Uber pool we were in?
What did you just say?
We were in an Uber pool.
We got in the same Uber.
Thomas doesn't take Uber pools.
Yeah, if you know me, I don't take an Uber pool.
Yes.
That may have been someone else.
Cedric, how are you doing?
I'm great.
I'm great.
It's great to be here.
Wow.
My first event.
Yes.
Well, Cedric, thank you.
You look great.
I love your shoes.
Thank you.
Those are nice.
These survivors really dressed up.
Hey, guys, was Chrissy wearing a prom dress at the jury?
From like the 80s?
Saul really elevated the final tribal council or the tribal council fashion.
It was taffeta.
Yeah.
I'm curious.
How much did you prepare your jury look?
Well, only one person on here got to reveal them.
Yes.
Sad.
I didn't prepare.
I didn't.
I didn't think extravagant.
I didn't think anything other than whatever I had, and it wasn't much.
Clothes?
Yeah, because I don't have a lot of beach wear.
Do you regret that?
No.
I have a question.
Do they do your hair and makeup now?
No.
Okay.
Dear God, no.
Everybody looks so dolled up.
Like Stephanie.
At Ponderosa?
Thomas?
No, literally.
I knew you were going to do this.
Okay, so Thomas and I got ready in the same room before the game started.
This man, I had to wait on the porch for literally an hour.
I was the last person to show up to like when the game was about to begin because I was
waiting for this man to do his hair.
It was the last time I was going to be able to put vitamin C serum on my face.
I was going to take the time and get it done.
Also, I was so excited because I opened the little wardrobe
and I saw we both had purple clothes.
I was like, fuck yes.
Like, BR is on my tribe, so I walk out.
Boston Rob?
If only.
But I walk out and I see Bianca and I'm like,
I'm like, gay.
And she is so pissed.
I was so mad.
I was staring at me like, fuck you and wherever you came from.
I was like, fuck this guy.
What were you doing to your hair?
honest, my hair was short back then.
So like a...
I did blow dry it.
With a dice and air wrap.
Yeah, I mean, yeah.
Well, I shaved.
I wanted the mustache to look really tight, you know.
So you guys are talking before the game even started.
Correctly, yeah, before the marooning.
Okay, but knowing you're going to have to jump off a boat into the water.
Well, they don't do that anymore.
Yeah, we didn't have to.
They do that still.
They don't do that.
God, it was so much harder in my death.
I haven't done it lately.
Billy, you seem very, it seemed like you're very on top of that.
Don't worry about it. I'm Phineas. He's my muse.
You know, Vinnie?
You know, so we have three people here from Survivor 48,
and of course we have somebody who's now in the final seven here,
and it's Joe, and he's been playing such an interesting game.
It's been such a fun subplot of that all season long,
Joe keeps going to tribal councils and keeps having to vote for people
he doesn't want to vote for.
He never gets to vote for
I've been there
Yeah
He never gets to vote for who he wants to anymore
And he gets really upset about it
Well he's learning about Survivor every week
You know what I mean
It's like it's a lot of new information every single time
It's a lot to process
Yeah
He is going with the flow I guess
You could give him that
Sure
You know
Yeah what can we say about Joe
Some people are more strategic than others
I think what we can say about Joe is that he is sincere who he is.
Yeah.
Whether you like it or not, he is authentically himself.
And that's all we can ask for.
You know, we don't ask for a monolithic interpretation of ourselves.
We're not going to be the same.
And he is authentically himself.
Yeah, I just can't get behind people who are like,
Survivor is an ethical game.
And I am honorable.
Like, I love it when it comes from coach.
Like give me coach saying how honorable he is every day
But like not someone who's actually really
Does try to tell the truth
Listen we love Joe Joe's great
But you know it's just it's it's hard to watch him in certain situations lately
With like you know when he's getting in talking to the other contestants
And they're just trying to persuade him and he doesn't he's not open
He's not open for anything that he doesn't want for, you know, for the way to go.
It's crazy.
He's the, I always lovingly called.
Thomas called this very early on, like day one on the island.
Yeah, I was like, so Joe is the Titanic.
And like, if you see the iceberg, I don't know if we have enough time to move out of the way.
Yeah.
Not the Titanic.
Yeah, the Titanic's dream.
Because that would be fun.
Correct.
Although Joe is an ally.
I will go on the record.
Joe is an ally.
Well, I think that came up recently.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And you're going to make a point about Joe.
Just that was it.
Okay.
That he's the Titanic.
I mean, yeah, we're all making a point about Joe and it's all kind of blunt, you know.
Like what else can you say?
He's not giving us much to work with.
He is really funny to watch Try to Lie, where he's like, yes.
Yeah.
He did kind of lie to Ozzy.
Yeah, he's like twitching and.
Yeah.
Like, I remember when he would try to get me to vote, like, when we were, like, in the beginning, really, like, really trying to play.
But had no reason to play hard because we weren't going to try ball.
He was just trying to get me to vote out Bianca over Eva for no reason.
None.
Yeah.
We weren't going to try.
I will say that, you know, our final tribal, I was the one vote for Joe.
And I've heard several things about that.
And I will say Camilla that we all had, we discussed, you know, if Camilla was in the final three, she was going to win.
Yeah!
All said, if Camilla gets to the end, Camilla's going to win this game.
I will sold on it.
And so when she didn't get to the end, there was a little bit of a conundrum because I didn't see you.
I didn't see all the things that Kyle was doing.
And so we were left with making that decision.
And so I think that the reality of Joe making statements at Tribal that showed his
sincerity that kind of connected with me.
You like an honorable guy.
I think one of the things he says, he says, you know, I'm not a doctor.
I'm not a lawyer.
I'm just a firefighter trying to work for my kids.
And for whatever reason, I mean, I got a kid.
I mean, I get what that's like.
And I connect it with it.
Yeah, that's a good line, I guess.
So in the episode tonight,
Surrey talked about how that there was a code word
that she could give to Ozzy at any point.
And then if Si said that code word to Ozzy,
he would play his idol.
But I don't believe we got to hear in the episode
what the code word was.
So I thought it might be fun.
If we went down the line
and then decided to,
guess what the code word was, okay?
And let me start with you.
I'm going to go down the line.
Does Parvety know? Like, who knows what the answer is?
I just texted her for it.
Okay, okay, okay, right.
Yeah, and we're just having fun.
Okay, let's start. Billy Eilish. What do you think?
Fun up here, okay.
What do you think the code word was?
They don't want to lose.
I'm like, who's going to win?
I think of
a word, it's fiery, it's hot,
that's passionate, it begins with F.
Finius.
I'm doing a little pener as Billy.
I don't know how peners, my voice is transition to penur,
but he's my muse.
Yeah.
Farberty, you know them both so well.
Do you have a guess what the code word was?
Eric.
What if it's like Coco Popes?
What if it's something completely random?
Coco Puffs.
Is somebody writing these down?
I'd like to have these later.
Maybe it was just Brigade, you know, thinking about her past game.
If she talked about her experiences and...
Oh, I don't think it would be.
Definitely not obvious, not an obvious one.
Brigade?
Why would you say that?
I thought, Rob, you said there were no losers in the game.
We're going really hard at Baguese.
Sorry, there's no...
Billy, I'm just impressed you know my name.
I'm so excited.
It was on the paragraph I was sent by my publicist.
Bianca, what do you think Ceres' code word is to get Ozzie to play his up?
idol. Idle.
Idol. It's gotta be simple.
It's got to be simple and trait power.
Yeah.
She's playing. She's saying it out of the side of her mouth.
Oidal.
Oidel. Just play your idol.
Idol.
Yeah. Thomas, what would be a good code word?
Well, what did you talk about in Australia about she was not open to, like, open marriages or
open relationships?
Polyamory.
Yeah, polyamory.
Because everything's changed.
Polyamory.
But isn't that what her alliance is?
This season?
Yeah.
He's into it.
Yeah.
And Ozzy's like, that's why they're so tight this season.
Correct.
You don't know which way.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
I think it's a food.
A food.
What food?
Maybe like peanut butter.
Peanut butter.
Yeah.
It has to come up at tribal council.
Then they could cover it up and they could just be talking about food.
That's an easy way for it to come up.
Just to be like, oh, I really want some pancakes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Nobody's going to say that at tribal council.
I really want some pancakes?
Is that what you say?
Sophie Ballardy keeps messaging me about pancakes.
At eye-hop.
Yes.
Have you seen the eye-hup?
She's doing something.
It's a collaboration.
She's my muse.
She's my muse.
By the way, did either of you ever have Cerise Rice?
Is it as good as they say on Survivor?
Yeah.
I mean, it's just rice.
Fine.
It's fine.
I don't recall.
Yeah.
All right.
Panelists, is there anything else?
else that we want to say about tonight's episode.
They did pay me for the sponsor,
and I've decided to donate all the money to charity,
who you spent some time with on the island, the person.
She seems lovely from the clips you showed me backstage,
and I want to give her all that money.
She deserves every dollar the money,
and you showed me so many clips of her backstage.
Bless her heart.
I wish he won.
I love, I wish that he loved.
Yeah, you're a big Cedric fan.
Yes.
Thank you so much, Billy Eilish, for being here with us.
Thank you.
Okay.
I have to thank my incredible co-hosts here tonight.
Harvard and Danielle, we had so much fun.
You kept me on my toes the entire night.
Thank you so much for coming out here and being with us here at this sold-out show.
I also wanted to...
give a shout out to my brother Danny who,
I hope they're still here.
I don't see my family anymore.
I wanted to wish my brother a happy birthday.
Yeah, oh, here he is.
Happy birthday!
This is my brother Danny, and he is, today, it's his birthday today,
and it's a special survivor birthday that he is,
I'm not gonna say it, but he is,
as many years as the old era used to be days.
Okay?
And I just thought I'd love to end the show with if,
I don't know what the maximum number of people that have ever sang,
Happy Birthday to You is.
But I thought we could shatter that record tonight.
Okay.
All right, real quick.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday, dear Danny.
Happy birthday to you.
This means so much to me to be here in New York.
Let me bring out Nicole real quick, yes?
This guy is the best.
There's 1,500 people here, but make no mistake,
I was the first of the Rob fan club.
Nine years older than me, I looked up to my whole life.
We are so proud of you, Rob.
Hell of a job tonight.
Thank you, too.
I was so sad I thought you all left I really is like oh my god the show was that bad my family left Nicole and this is the first time Nicole has been here at the live show since 2019
it's so good to be back and to watch you on stage this is where he shines and he's just amazing thank you babe
okay and I want to say thank you to everybody who came out here all of the panelists on the show
This is so much fun to get together with everybody.
I can't wait to do it.
We've had so much fun in Survivor 50.
Can't wait to do it for many, many years to come beyond.
Thank you for all the support about the tribe and I have spoken this week.
It's been such a whirlwind.
I love you all so much.
Thank you for everything.
Everything else?
All right, and I'll see you at the after party!
