Hey, everybody, what's going on?
Rob Cesterino back here.
I got an exit interview from the road in Washington, D.C.
Last night, we put on an incredible event after episode number four of Survivor 51.
And looking forward for you to get the chance to see that.
That is going to be posted on Friday.
We've got an exit interview coming up now.
And then later on today, I will be part of the Ramble Battle Royale.
will be hosting a survivor style event with 10 big brother players, 10 survivor players.
You can watch that live on Thursday on the Rumble app.
Go to survivor.com to get the Ramble app and join us for what should be a very fun event starting at 4 o'clock today.
But I'm going to be joined here by Jenna on our exit interview here in just a moment.
Yesterday I also did a survivor note all as well.
Stephen Fishback is hobnobbing with the Australian.
Australia Roddy. I got together with Omer Zahir to talk about everything. We had a great conversation
of episode four of Survivor 51, where we saw Jenna voted out, get voted out, and she is going
to be joining me in just a second. Also, stay tuned for this week in Survivor History after this.
But let's go ahead and patch in Jenna. Hey, Jenna. What's going on? Rob Sester Nino. How are you doing
today. We're doing it, baby. We're heartbroken. We're grateful. We're here. Yes. Yes. Okay. Well, all of the feelings that we're having
today. And it was very heartbreaking to see you go out of the game. And I thought that you fought your
ass off to try to stay. Thank you. Thank you. Do you feel like looking back? Is there anything that you
could have done differently? So this is how I feel. I feel like, of course,
looking at it, having all the information, really bad hand, really bad hand.
But I will absolutely never be the person that is like, I couldn't have done anything.
I am a player of this game.
I love this game.
Of course, I'm running through every possible thing I could have done.
And I think that is the only way to do it.
is like really good players figure out how to make their bad hands work.
Sometimes you can't.
What could you have done?
Well, it's stuff like this.
It's like I could have been on that mutiny.
I could have gotten the extra vote.
I could have not had an emotional breakdown on day one and made better relationships.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
I meant last night.
I meant last night what could you have done?
Well, you know, but it's all, it all leads up.
It's the domino effect, you know?
Yeah.
Okay.
I want to talk about Devin because, you know, from my van,
point. I can't really figure out why, why is Devin? Why are so stuck with me, bro?
Yeah. What's his deal? Is he jealous? Does he want to be a wedding photographer? Like, I don't know.
Maybe it's that. I, no, I, I, I'm kidding, but I will say, like, the, the disclaimer and sort of the,
the way that I choose to orient towards the game is like, obviously you know this. The game is an
alternate reality.
And not just because you're not eating
and you're not sleeping.
You're playing a wildly crazy emotional mental game.
I don't think it doesn't justify things.
But like, I think everyone deserves a chance
to be who they are outside of the game.
And the Devon outside of the game
is someone who I love and we've had, you know,
a lot of good conversations.
But inside the game, you know,
it was a really hard thing for me to process,
especially after getting voted out
and hearing to the extent that he was coming for me
and spreading things about me,
you know, about being a wedding,
photographer and otherwise. And I think on a human level, that was a really hard thing for me
to process and not something I expected. Okay. How close did you come to giving Alexis your shoes?
Well, you know what? I would like to give Alexis her flowers. This woman is smart. Okay, because
while at one, on one hand, I was like, man, you're coming at me, girl. I literally thought in that
moment, I can't give you my shoes because you're going to leave and walk out with them.
So good on her.
And honestly, I kind of wish I would have just given her my shoes.
Like literally been like, this is a problem for tomorrow.
I want Alexis to trust me and take my shoes, girl.
I mean, I said that.
I was like, girl.
Right.
You know, but I should have just literally given.
It wouldn't have changed anything.
Even if you did, even if you did.
And then you get her voting the other way.
They still have three.
They still three votes.
It would have been Alexis.
and that's it voting that direction.
You also got hosed being on the tribe with five people.
If there was six on that tribe,
I think that maybe it could have been a different story.
So I feel vindicated.
I appreciate that.
Yeah, you did run into some bad luck.
I'd love to know from you,
you know,
how much was the helicopter alliance known about?
Was that something that was known at the point
where the vote turned against Alia at the first tribal council?
No. I did not know about it. You know, I obviously knew Dev, Jelly, and Alia were close. I very much knew that. And then of course, Dev and Jelly vote. They're the only people that vote for me. So there's a natural bond there. That was obvious to me. Not at all a part of my calculation with Ori. Not at all.
Yeah. When Ori and Jelly were openly flirting, did that start to give you the impression that maybe Ori was closer with them?
No. I just kind of thought we're all... And you are a wedding photographer. You're around love all the time.
Maybe they didn't have it. Maybe they didn't have that spark. Okay. Like maybe I'm really good at seeing these things. I don't know. I guess I'm not.
That's why Dev knew you were a threat. Yes. It all comes full circle.
No, of course it's a part of what you're thinking,
but like you know that you can have these relationships
and just not be aligned in the game.
And that's what I was thinking about.
Yeah.
I'd love to know a little bit about, you know,
you were involved in two big vote flips in your time in the game.
Let's talk about the first one where the vote flipped against Alia,
where you ended up mentioning that she was talking about Brady
and you threw Alia under the bus to Brady.
We didn't really see much else of what you did with that.
Were you still stirring the pot or did you just throw the match and then basically let it take over?
No, literally so funny because everyone's like, I wanted Jenna to like fight a little bit more.
I wanted to be like, I'm a wedding photographer.
And I'm like, no, y'all, that's what I did.
I at tribal council, I'm telling Jeff, I'm like, Jeff, there's a rumor I'm not a wedding photographer.
The confessional where I'm like, I know, so shutter speed, blah, blah, blah.
I'm going throughout the beach.
I'm like one by one being like, ask me some questions about this.
You know, I'm, I'm opening up to people as much as I can.
And, you know, I will say this.
It wasn't as if I hadn't talked to people, you know, and opened up to people.
But it wasn't everyone.
And so I think there was a little bit of that of just being like, hey, I'm sorry if I gave closed off vibes.
You know, I just have been going through this in my life.
And here's some other information, you know?
Like, so I was all day long having as many conversations that I possibly could have.
You were very vulnerable in the premiere episode.
and I thought that that was a really great look at you as a person.
And it seemed like that you did open up about,
hey, I'm a wedding photographer.
But did you ever end up opening to any of the tribe members about your divorce?
Yeah, no, I did.
And, you know, I've got a shout out.
Just a moment that will stick with me as a human forever,
which was the producer Joe.
I had a moment where day two.
The great Joe Leah.
So great, Jolia.
And I hope I get to tell him this in person.
But, you know, day two, I'm struggling so bad.
It's the first confessional.
We're supposed to be like, we jumped off a boat.
And I'm trying my best to narrate.
And I'm hanging on by a single thread.
And what it really was for me, it wasn't that I hadn't processed, you know, going through
a divorce.
It had been 10 months for me.
But I was realizing in real time being out there, not everyone in my life knows about,
about this. It's not a secret, but I'm, I feel like I'm hard launching my divorce and these cameras are
around me 24-7 and I have no idea how to do this. And I am like bottling it up inside.
It is wildhouse trapped in my own skin I felt. I mean, the most probably vulnerable I've been in
my life. Okay. And so I had this moment with Joe, sorry, do you want to say something?
Oh, no, I just, I know we're running out of time. Okay, okay. Sorry, hold on. Basically, like,
I'm like can I just please like cry like without the cameras for a second I'm sure they were rolling
but he just offered me a human kindness and to be like you know what you do not you never have to
talk about anything you don't want to talk about in these confessionals why don't you just open up
to somebody on your tribe and then I did and so I feel forever deaded for that moment of kindness
great guy a great human um so you were also involved in the vote flip which ended up turning
against Pat and you and Pat seem like that you had a good thing going in the first episode.
It could have been.
What happened?
So I'll tell you what happened is.
The short version I need though.
Yeah, that's exactly for sure.
Pat had my back at that first vote.
She stuck her neck out for me.
And I am so forever grateful for that.
And I felt indebted to her.
And I was like, girl, I want to play this game with you.
Beyond that, beyond that, I love Pat as a human.
one of like the kindest most amazing people and I was like let's figure this out we have a conversation
the next day where we're walking on the beach you know post tribal and we're both kind of laying out
where we see the lines and we're on opposite sides of them and I'm like girl there's probably a
tribe swap coming soon like let's find the middle the vibes in this conversation were very very
weird I think pat felt slightly betrayed that I gave the wedding photographer information so publicly to
everybody when she felt like she was sharing that with me more privately I don't know what else I
could have done, but I understand her perspective.
And I think because she was wanting to work with Devon Jelly, she knew and Devon Jelley weren't
wanting to work with me.
She put distance there.
And it was obvious to me.
She straight up told me if we go to tribal, I'm going to be voting for you.
And at that time in the game, we did not have Carter.
Well, we didn't have Carter and we didn't have Lewis.
They had the numbers.
And so we weren't aligned after that.
Yeah.
Okay.
Jenna, I'd love to listen to you to talk about this all day.
I know that I'm getting told that you have to move on.
So thank you so much.
I hope that the one silver lining is that the wedding photography business,
I'm sure that what marketing, what publicity for you.
So I enjoy it.
All the best.
And I hope you're doing okay.
Okay.
Awesome.
I am.
Thanks, Rob.
Bye.
All right, everybody.
There you have it.
There is Jenna very set to see her go.
Part of my draft team.
Those are the breaks.
Spad week two in a row for the Rob draft team.
We are looking at you.
Linnea to bring it home.
In the meantime, let's take a break
when we come back this week in Survivor History
with Jordan Kalish.
All right, we're back for
some more this week in Survivor
History. We'll see if my
undefeated streak can continue.
Here we are back with
the great Jordan Kalish.
Yes, I am here
in stuck in New York, and fortunately
I couldn't make it to the DC party.
I love to be able to go to the know-it-alls,
but it's tough during the
school year in the coaching season. So I hope everyone had a great time. Okay. I'm sure that we did.
And Jordan, uh, tell us who have you brought with us today? Uh, walk don't run. We have
Walker Rowe here is, is the guest that he's going to be taking you on in trivia. Walker, how are you?
I'm doing well, Rob. Thanks for having me. Jordan. Thanks for having me. I'm hoping to break the
streak. You know, I've, I've been on a heater as well. I've had a car. I've had a car. I've had a car. I've had a
cough for four straight days and we're still going.
You had a cough for four days.
Yeah.
So when you say, I've been on a heater, does it mean you've been running a temperature?
Yeah.
What's their temp?
We're going down.
We're at 99 today, but we've been a little high.
We were triple digits the last three days.
But you were on a streak.
I needed to have some kind of like comparable streak.
Yeah.
Walker, what part of the world do you live in?
I live in Los Angeles.
So I, yeah, I've been here for almost three years and I was at the season 50 finale.
I was very lucky to win the seat filler lottery.
And what do you do?
Are you in the industry?
I work in the finance side of the music industry.
Okay.
All right.
Cool.
All right.
Well, Walker, are you ready?
I was born early.
Okay.
But I was, I am ready.
All right.
So, Jordan, why don't you tell us what category?
is we playing today. Yes, Walker,
I'm going to give you the categories here. This
has to be your flu game here.
We have Survivor Cook Islands.
We have Survivor 41.
We have the old era mystery box and the new era mystery box.
And as always, the mystery boxes are worth an extra
point for everything, no matter what happens.
So, unless you get it wrong, then it's just zero.
So where are you going to take us first?
Let's go to the new era mystery box.
All right. New era mystery box.
in which new era season
did the first person
voted out after the swap
not cast a vote
at the tribal
in which they went home.
Oh, okay.
Well, there are only
so many swaps
to choose from.
There was,
are we counting
the 44, like,
Carson?
Any situation in which people
change tribes
will count as a swap.
Okay. That's good. So let's see. 46 just merged.
45. The first boot after the swap was Sean. And he voted. So it wouldn't be him.
49. It was the first person voted out after the swap did not cast.
to vote. Yes, and it only happened one time. Okay. 49. It was swapped and Mac got voted out.
48, they swapped and Thomas got voted out. And he voted 47. They didn't swap.
46. I think didn't swap.
35.
You could always go multiple choice if you need it.
I'm running through the new era in my head.
And oh, it's a
my final answer is Survivor 50.
Survivor 50 Q did not have his vote
because he went to that journey thing with Ozzy overnight
and he didn't have his vote.
So that is correct.
I was getting worried because I was like,
are you going to forget that 50 is new era?
I did.
You do get the three points though.
You remembered it just in time.
So good start for Walker.
Rob,
where are we going to go next?
All right.
Let's go with the old era mystery box.
I have to return,
serve.
You got to do it.
I think you have to.
What was the first season in Survivor history
in which Jeff gave contestants the option
to mutiny to the other tribe?
Survivor Thailand.
Survivor Thailand is,
is correct before the auction.
They were given the choice.
Nobody did it.
Obviously, Cook Islands is the only one where anybody did mutiny.
There was an unaired mutiny in Pearl Islands,
which if Thailand was unaired,
I would have not have written this question,
but it was in the episode.
So it is three to three.
Good start by both of you.
We are going to go now either Cook Islands or 41, Walker,
where are you taking us?
Let's go to 41.
All right.
Survivor 41 was well known for its phrases
used to unlock the idols,
but many other phrases were uttered as well.
Who in a confessional said,
They Hate Me Because They Ain't Me,
which was used as the episode four title.
I believe this was Sydney.
Sydney Siegel with no multiple choices worth two points.
So you have a perfect five points here.
Rob, you need to get this question right without the multiple choice
in order to tie it up.
Yeah, Cook Island is not necessarily one of my strong suits,
but let's go for it.
Let's see if you remember, Cook Islands,
especially the pre-merged Cook Islands was a long journey.
When members of the new I-2 tribe were searching for eggs to eat,
who accidentally knocked down a bird's nest,
potentially endangering a baby bird and upsetting Penner in the process?
So I don't know for sure.
I'm going to say, for some reason, I feel like,
and I can't go to the multiple choice because I will lose if I'm wrong,
so I have to go for it.
I'm going to say cowboy.
Cowboy.
Rob, get up on that horse.
We're going to cowboy all the way down to the tiebreaker.
Cowboy is the correct answer.
Two points.
Very sad scene in Survivor history.
Why do you have to break the bird's nest?
I hope the bird was okay.
I never really gave us closure on the bird.
All right.
So we are going to go to the typical tiebreaker that we do here on this weekend Survivor history.
This is going to be the fourth boots competition.
I'm getting the list randomizer up.
Let me set it from the number number randomizer.
How do you feel about fourth boots, Walker?
Pretty good.
You know, it's weeks one through three are pretty rough.
Weeks five and on are just abysmal, but week four.
Week three.
All right.
So we are going to, Walker, you're probably happy you got the season.
Rob didn't season six, Amazon.
season six to fourth boot
I believe that was Joanna
Joanna Ward
I'm double checking
but yes that is the correct answer
so you get a point Walker you're up six to five
Rob you need to get this one right
we are going to go
to season
49
49er
this is tough
um
So, this is a tough one because I think that this is in one episode, Jake got bit by the snake,
but then I think Jeremiah was the fourth boot.
Jeremiah, we were in New York for this episode, I believe.
Jeremiah, yes, is the correct answer.
So we are tied six to six.
let's go back to the randomizer and you are taking us to season seven Pearl Islands Walker
Oh god
Not the early it was Nicole and skinny are we doing proper boot order
So like you know you actually so here's what I'm fourth person voted out
Let me just yeah so it is the the fourth person voted out of the game so you know what I
What I normally do for these seasons that people come back
I usually skip it on the randomizer.
So I'm going to stay with precedent.
I'm going to skip season seven.
I feel like you could like, we're not saying like a fourth play.
Like, I think it's, I don't know.
I usually don't even say the number when it comes up with one of the ones where people come back.
So we're going to actually go to season 37.
Season 37, the fourth out, I believe was another weird one.
I think it was B.
B Nguyen.
Was she the fourth out?
Yes, she was.
You get a point.
so you're up seven to six
Rob you are going to go with
season 40
so that's another one where people come back so I'm going to skip it
season 20 Heroes versus Villains
um
sugar
and then
Randy
and then
what happened after that
is it
uh
Stephanie it's Stephanie
it was Stephanie
than Randy and then
then they went to trouble counsel again
and that wasn't
was it Surrey?
It was Surrey.
So we're tied
seven to seven.
Let's go to Walker
Season 31 Survivor
Cambodia.
That was Jeff Farner.
I hate that the randomizer always does this.
I feel like it always gives us these people
that we don't want to talk about,
but that is the correct answer.
Um, you're up eight to seven.
Uh, Rob, you have season for Marquesis.
Okay.
Too, I wish Mel Hooker was here.
Um, I believe that was, uh, Cleopatra, Sarah Jones.
Sarah Jones, I believe that is correct.
I'm just double checking my work here.
And yes, that is correct.
Sarah Jones is the right answer.
Um, okay, I've, I've run out of room of my sheep.
So we're going to go to the next column.
I have, Walker, we're going to Co-Rong.
Co-wrong, the fourth boot.
It was Caleb, I believe.
Caleb, yeah, you're getting a lot of these medevacs.
Caleb is correct.
So you have nine points.
Rob, you need to match here.
We're going to go Survivor 45.
I believe that was, was it, Sean Edwards, yes, Walker did bring him up earlier on this podcast.
You also have nine points.
This is one of the longest tiebreakers in Twitch history.
We are going to go to Walker.
This is back to you.
We're going to Survivor Caramowen.
Survivor Caramowen.
Ooh, it was Francesca, Ali, Hope, and then I can't remember what order things happened in.
If it was Shamar, then Laura or Laura than Shamar.
I'm going to say the fourth boot was Shamar.
It was Shamar, another Metavac, Walker.
So you're at 10.
I hope you're not feeling well.
I hope you don't get Medivac from this podcast.
to new existence.
Rob, Survivor 36 Ghost Island.
You need to match.
Okay. And this I think is a trickier one.
So the person
who goes home
was it
was it the other Stephanie?
Stephanie Johnson
was the fifth boot. It was fellow
P.E. teacher Brendan Shapiro.
Walker by a school of 10 to 9.
The streak is over. You have won.
You took me to the brink.
You did it.
Well done, Walker.
Does it again.
Yes.
Okay.
All right.
And for that,
we went to overtime.
Do we still need to do a verbal rebus?
I was actually thinking,
I think,
I think we skip it this week.
I think that we save it for next week.
I take it the Jordan as a hard out.
Yeah.
Well,
I have,
yeah,
I have to teach.
I have to set up and then teach a class.
So yeah,
we're not,
we're not going to the verbal rebus.
Sorry, Walker.
Sometimes it's the,
The unperfect games that get you out of the...
For what it's worth, I was going to pass on it.
Oh, okay.
Using my victory status, but...
Well, well done, Walker.
Okay, so...
Thank you very much.
Give a plug.
No, I mean, everyone should go to every Survivor Watch party in whatever city they're in.
Read.
Okay.
Go to every...
Yeah, there's Jordans in New York.
If you want to follow me on Instagram, look up Walker Row.
I'm proud of the top result.
And yeah.
Okay.
Go.
All right.
And then Jordan has to get to class, but anything else you want to tell people?
Stay in school, kids.
Stay in school.
Be nice to your PE teachers like me and Brendan Shapira.
All right.
Thank you for joining us for this means,
Fiverr history, another exit interview.
