Survivor’s Open Era is heating up as Rob Cesternino sits down in person with standout Survivor 50 finalist Tiffany Nicole Ervin... to break down all the chaos and surprises of the brand new season. Rob and Tiffany dig into the premiere episode’s most unpredictable moments from live Tribal Council whispers to risky Exile Island moves, the season’s new format sets the stage for a wild ride. This episode kicks off with Tiffany sharing her thoughts on the shift from the “new era” to the “open era,” and how the latest cast’s unpredictability mirrors her own “chaotic” Survivor journey. Tiffany offers the inside scoop on hosting a West Coast watch party, what it’s like engaging with fans, and which twists are changing the game. The conversation dives into the wild dynamics of the season’s first Tribal Council—where votes and alliances flip in real time—and why bold personalities like Dev and Brady quickly take the spotlight. Tiffany also unpacks the strategy (and risk) of volunteering for early exile, plus weighs in on the return of the coin flip twist and the drama it could unleash in future episodes. – Tiffany compares live tribals and why radical honesty may work—until it doesn’t – The influence of Brady on his tribe and why relationships matter early – Volunteering for Exile Island: why Tiffany would never, and why it’s a risky move – Idol drama: easy finds versus brutal challenges, and why open era advantages can feel unfair – Tiffany’s early winner pick, Jelly, and standouts like Dev, Kristin, and Rhode Island Rob As the open era takes shape, Rob and Tiffany debate if big personalities and bigger risks will dominate the new two-tribe format. Will the more unpredictable twists reward risk-takers, or will alliances have the final say? With shifting advantages and permanent uncertainty, the season is off to an electric start. Hey, everybody. What's going on? Rob Sesternino. And look at this. How exciting is this? We are here in person with the great Tiffany Nicole Irvin, who's coming off of Survivor 50. And what a run and here to talk about. The premiere of the open era. Tiffany, how are you?
I'm good. I'm great. I'm so excited that we finally get to do this in person. I feel like we've been doing this virtually for years now.
Yes. This has been a fun trip. I got to do the podcast with Stephen in person.
last night and then you were the first person I thought of to say, okay, I'm going to be on the
West Coast this week. Can we do a podcast in person? Yes. I was so happy that you were up for it
and now here you are. And you look incredible. You look like you look like you're about to go to
Scotland and not Q. You know what? Let's put that into the atmosphere. Hey, anybody out there who's
watching. I'm waiting on my call and my ticket to Scotland because I would like to be on the next thing
smoking. Thank you. All right. Yes. How are you doing? I'm doing great. I'm excited. Last night was
very interesting. I set my expectations aware because you can't really expect things with
survivors. As soon as you start expecting things, that's when Jeff decides to take it left.
But I had fun watching last night. I really like this cast. They're funny and they're interesting.
They're interesting. There's a lot to break down. I've actually, I got to see you last night that I came by that you
were running the Bryson Wend, L.A. Watch Party. And that was very fun. And that was
cool to get to watch you in action hosting. I did my little hosting gig last night. You know what?
I like to interact with the crowd because I feel like, and last night was like a good crowd.
Like everybody was like very chill and calm because sometimes like those environments, they can get
a little overwhelming. Last night was very intimate. It was fun. And I feel like everybody's kind
on the same page about like where we're going with this new season.
And thank you for coming.
Yeah.
It was so fun.
Because I was sitting there and then I was not expecting you to come around the corner with a microphone of like,
all right, everybody.
What did you think about that?
Wow, this is crazy.
Yeah.
I'm like, you got to keep the crowd engaged because I feel like if we're going to do a watch
party together, I want to know what people think.
Yeah.
Because if you're imagine like you're in your living room, right?
You're kicking it with your friends.
You're talking to them.
You want to know what they think about what's going on the screen.
And I imagine that that's the type of banter that I want to have with the people who I watch with.
Yeah, I just pepper my kids like, all right, guys, what's going to happen?
We don't care. Come on, come on, wake up, everybody.
And you have teenagers, so they're like not having it.
Yeah, they want to talk about other things. All right, but let's, I'd love to hear your thoughts about the open era because
now that we sort of close the book on the new era. You're one of the faces of the new era.
Do you have any mixed feelings on the open era being in and the new era being out?
No, I don't.
I feel like I'm very happy to be a representative of the new era and not only just a representative,
a representative of one of the most chaotic seasons of the new era.
So technically, if season 51 is like chaotic and crazy, it's like, okay, that's cute.
Like you guys have your thing and I have my thing.
I'll be chaotic in the new era.
You guys be chaotic.
Open Era. But I'm excited. I feel like this cast is very dynamic. We had a live tribal night one.
So I'm like, if this is what they're doing on, well, I think it was like night three. If we're doing
on episode one, you guys are getting up in spring. Night one for us. Yeah, for us. I just know that
this season is about to be electric. Yeah, that was a wild tribal council. And I really am still not
sure why things ended up turning into a live tribal council at that first tribal council where that
it seemed like that dev was very like throwing it out there hey i will be voting for jena that's
very uncommon that was very crazy for us to see something like that and then pat mentions that
alia was on the chopping block and then ultimately the votes went to lea but i spoke with alia this
morning. Oh, you did? Oh, yeah, I did the exit interview with her this morning. How does she feel?
You know, she's really taking it in stride. It's very hard to be the first person off. You know,
not everybody can have the grace of Jolinsky, but she seemed like that she was really like in a good
place with it. But I'd asked her, like, do you think that the votes changed at the tribal council?
And she said she didn't think that they changed. But then I don't understand. Why did everybody get up?
What was all the commotion? Yeah, I was very confused by that. And can I be honest with you,
For like a split second, I thought that they were going to switch the votes to Devin.
Because for somebody usually, in my experience, when they're that vocal and that, like, I was reading into like the nuance of what was going on there, he was very focused on Jeff.
While everything was going on around him, they're whispering.
I'm like, babe, don't you care?
They're like whispering behind your head.
I'm like, he's comfortable.
And usually when a person is that comfortable, they go home.
But I guess, you know, it's the first tribal.
nobody's trying to make any crazy moves.
But I definitely didn't see Alia going home.
I thought she had better relationships established at that point.
I didn't even think that she did that much wrong.
Me neither.
I was very surprised.
And then it turned out that Jenna had said or had relayed that she threw out Brady's name.
And then he's like, well, now she has to go.
She said my name.
And I was really surprised that he had so much support to do that.
It seemed like that there was like, especially when there was a consensus against Jenna.
Wait, is it Brady or Brody?
Because I've been calling him Brody.
So he is, it's confusing.
He is Brady, but he calls everybody else Brody.
Okay, because I was like, I know I heard Brody last night, and I've been calling him.
Every person, every other person is Brody.
And he is Brady.
Okay, great.
I also think that that speaks volumes to how much sway he has over the tribe right now.
Because in my head, I'm like, why is everybody listening to him?
But then again, maybe he just has established better relationships.
Then Alia at this point, like, I don't know, maybe everybody took it to heart that she wasn't untying fast enough.
I personally don't think she lost the challenge for them.
Yeah.
No, I said that to her.
I'm like, I don't really think that that seemed like that was that big of a deal.
It seemed like that they fell behind more on doing the blocks.
I'm not sure why she kind of got singled out in terms of that she couldn't get the ropes untied.
Yeah.
I'm thinking, like, is it a situation where it was more obvious there?
And then, like, the editing kind of just sped up the pace a little bit.
But watching that, I'm like, she did not seem like the determining factor of that loss.
And I think it was one of those situations where people were just looking for somebody to vote out.
And like, it just came down to who am I more comfortable in this moment.
Yeah.
I think part of it might have also been, do you want to get, if Bray, it was asked to Brady,
how much does this mean to you to get her out?
And he said everything.
Yeah.
And was it a case of that a lot of people just didn't care that much?
It's like, okay, do I want to be the person that pisses this guy off?
Yeah.
It could be that because not many people are that passionate during the first vote.
I do love the fact that there are two tribes because I think that this is what we've been waiting for for a long time.
Yes.
There are a lot more places to hide.
This is the type of drama you get when you have 10 people versus six.
And three people just are pretty much the deciding factor of where things go.
Yeah.
I mean, you played obviously in the season with a six-person tribe.
that went to a lot of tribal councils.
I just think it's such a like foregone conclusion sometimes where that they have six people.
Okay, this tribe lost and it's, it's this person.
Maybe it's this person or maybe they're going to play the shot in the dark.
But there's just so many other things that could happen in a 10 person tribe.
Yeah.
It's not that obvious who's going home as you can see.
And then it's interesting because I went from like the six person alliance to the eight person alliance when I was on 50.
And then even in the eight person dynamic, there are.
lot more options. Things get a lot more messy, even though I never experienced going to tribal
with eight people because my team kept winning. There was a lot of mess happening behind the scenes
and I'm like, thank God we didn't go to tribal because it probably would have looked like that.
Yeah. Yeah, the eight-person tribe is so interesting also to go from six. Do you have a preference
on whether it should be three tribes with more people or two bigger tribes? As a person,
who is watching, I love the bigger tribes.
As a player, I think the predictability of it all on being a smaller tribe, especially since
I'm just like a person that's really good with establishing connections and relationships,
I probably would like smaller tribes.
But I like to watch the bigger tribes go at it for sure.
Yeah.
I had a funny moment last night.
So at the watch party, I was sitting with Zach Wurtenberger and Juwan.
And so at the end of the episode, Jeff says to the tribe that went to tribal council, okay, and now you're going home.
Here is the pot and Flint and machete.
And they were like, what?
My job was on the floor.
What?
And it was so funny because I got to see the shift where they got to be like, well, back in my day, back in the new era, you had to earn your Flint.
You didn't just get it.
I'm like, I'm like, I love this for you guys.
I love that you have something that now you finally can say,
now you finally can say,
this isn't real survivor.
Dude, even the fight for supplies, I'm like some more.
Like, are you dead ass right now?
But then again, this is not old survivor.
This is new open era.
Yeah.
Like, so.
Tif, did you know in the fight for supplies
what the right things to get were?
Would you have handled that the same way?
I wouldn't have done a thumb war, no.
No.
Or if I did, I definitely wouldn't have given up.
But personally, I think that the most important thing is the Flint.
As somebody who went, I think 11 or 12 days without fire the first time I played, I'm never doing that again.
Ever if I have the chance.
See, because I felt like that the players were saying like, oh, I really wish we had the tarp.
And when Stephen and I were talking last night, we were saying like, okay, I think the tarp is the most important thing.
Because I feel like, well, you have a lot of clothes.
you don't have to boil the water.
Why is the flint?
And also, like, what do you need a pot for?
You have no food.
Yeah.
So why is the Flint so important?
Because there's, like, there's fire.
Like, I cannot tell you how cold it gets out there at night.
Like, it's so cold.
So I much rather have, like, that fire.
Because even if it's raining, you could still, like, try to get a little fire going,
get a little warmth if you have, like, a little overhang.
It also depends on what beach you're on and what season you're out there.
I think I was talking to Nate from 49 last night,
and he was telling me how it was so hot out there on 49.
I'm like, wow, must be nice.
Because when we were out there on 46, it was freezing.
It was cold.
The tarp was very important then.
But also, it didn't matter because we were going to be cold under the tarp,
outside the tarp, around the tarp, with the tarp wrapped around us.
We didn't have fire.
Yeah.
Jeff threw a lot at us from the episode last night.
And one of the things that they threw at us was that the Mr. Beast coin is going to be back for every single season of Survivor.
Do you like that the Mr. Beast coin is back?
It's not branded Mr. Beast.
Yeah, of course.
I do like the coin flip of it all.
Obviously, it doesn't have the same wow factor anymore because it was like a big thing when Devin flipped it.
But now I like it because of the impact it has on future seasons.
it selfishly, I'm like, by the time I go back out there, I hope that pot is nice and pat.
Yeah.
You know, if you're a returning player, don't you have to root for every single person to
like thumbs down on the coin flip?
Yeah.
And so you get there and it's like maybe going to be $5 or $6 million.
Absolutely.
I think I was joking around last night at the watch party.
I was like, you know what?
By that time I go back when the pot is like $6 million, just make sure y'all are rooting
for me to win because I think that, you know, the higher, the pot is.
the crazier people act.
And not that I want people to act crazy,
but I know I'm acting a lot crazier over $6 million
than I am one.
Yeah. I wonder though, at some point,
do you start to play more conservative
if the prize pot is like so big.
It's like I can't screw this up?
Conservative is boring.
I mean, it's boring, but like, I mean, I guess predictability.
But you could play as conservative as you want to,
but it's a conservative gonna get you jury votes?
Yeah.
Like, yeah.
Yeah.
So I think that's super interesting.
Would you have raised your hand if Jeff said, okay, do you want to get rid of firemaking at the final four?
Baby, that hand would have flew up so fast.
I would have disconnected my shoulder.
I was so shocked that everybody was like, no, let's keep firemaking it.
I get it, right?
Because if you get down to a situation where it's like everybody's against you, you want a fighting chance.
But at the same time, what if you're not good at fire making?
make it yeah so for the people that you know practiced it like I understand why they don't want to
get rid of it it's like hey I practiced this for like a year I'm like I'm really good at it like don't get
rid of it yeah so I think that's a tough spot to put the the players into where especially
when it had to be a unanimous vote yeah and it's interesting I was thinking about this because
I'm also a really big big brother fan yes and I was thinking about big night's big we're
recording this on Thursday big night yeah I don't I'm nervous for my girl D I
I hope she survives tonight.
She's been doing so good.
But then again, I'm also rooting for Devin.
So I'm like, I know one of them is going to advance.
I just don't know which one.
But I say all this to say, when I was thinking about Jeff and like the firemaking and
if I were there, I would have gotten rid of it.
On the flip side of it, I was thinking about how I excited, how excited I was when they
introduced the BB Blockbuster.
Yeah.
And I feel like in a way, the firemaking and the Blockbuster are kind of the same thing because
the Blockbuster is like, you can put me on a block if you want to, but bet.
I'm going to fight my way back into this house.
And then firemaking is like, you could try to get rid of me if you want to,
but I'm going to fight my way back into this game.
How are you at firemaking?
I don't know.
So like, can I make a fire?
Yes.
And people ask me that all the time.
I may fire out there on 46.
I made fire out there.
Because you were very close to maybe having to make fire.
And I thought about that a lot.
I was like, if I, on 50, if I had gone to Final Four,
I without a doubt would have been thrown in fire.
Yeah.
So I'm like, am I good enough to do it?
I can't tell you with certainty that I'm good enough.
You could be Rizzo.
Oh, for sure.
I could be Rizzo, but I don't know if I would be George.
I think because they were like fire sprites.
Like they were out there doing it every day.
I'm like, maybe I should practice a little bit more.
But then again, maybe the time I go back,
Jeff gives us another opportunity to vote it out.
Do you see people practicing the firemaking?
Yeah.
I mean, there were times where I practiced.
It's just like you got to have.
the right conditions and also it's very different making fire out there than making fire in
Final Four because the tools are not necessarily the same.
Yeah.
Like we don't have all the husk and the Hessian and the little tiny dagger.
It's very different making fire with that versus the machete.
So I'm like, do I need to practice or should I just wait it out and see?

about, hey, the people that played season 50, you, hell, he loves to birth.
I think you helped birth the open era.
Do you see any ways in which that Survivor 50 influenced the open era besides the coin coming
back?
I think just the unpredictability of it all, because there was really no point in time
where any of us really knew what was going on during 50.
It was like, he had the blood moon and then this and then that.
And I'm like, my God.
Jeff, like, come on, give us a break.
But then again, I'm like, that kind of also influenced the way we connected with each other
and the way we played with each other because it's like there was no getting comfortable
with alliances because it was very likely that like those things would be ripped apart.
We tribe swap what, two, three times on 50?
I think it was twice.
But I think that don't expect anything is kind of what we gave way to on 51.
Yeah, that's interesting.
So it's kind of like an alliance buster, especially like, you know, you're going to have your people that you are like very close with that you, you know, you and Surrey.
But, you know, you may not have like a four person alliance in the post merge.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm like, you just have to make sure that you have good relationships established with everybody.
Because in old school survivor, you could have that one alliance, be cool with everybody, block everybody else out and be like, I don't have.
to work with y'all i don't need to work with y'all but you can't do that now because you could
end up one man on a tribe of like four or five people that you weren't working with and now you're
sitting duck versus just making sure you always have the door open with everybody that wasn't a thing
before who are some of the other people that really were standouts for you uh i love jelly
i keep saying that she's my winner pick she is like she gives me good energy i love devon he was very
funny. Yeah. Well, let's talk about them one
and a time. Okay, one at a time. All right.
So you had Jelly.
She came out and she
really was very
taken with Ori. She said
she wanted to bring showmances back
to Survivor. Can I tell you I was so gagged
when she said that? I'm like, girl, yes.
But also, I was so sad they didn't get put
on the same try. I know. I know.
Like, I guess the cool thing
about what they did when everybody met up, it's like,
okay, well, now we have this story
and then hopefully that we
at some point they get back on the same tribe,
if they get swapped to the same tribe,
or if they meet the merge,
it'll be very exciting.
I'm looking forward to seeing that potentially develop.
But we, you know, it really,
that she said we're going to bring showmances back.
We have had very few showmances.
Yeah.
I really, like, I feel like what, like Matt and Franny.
And I don't even know if that was like a real showmance until, like,
you know, yeah, after.
Yeah, after.
They just were like,
really close and like, I don't know.
You can tell there was like a little something, but they didn't like.
And I'm trying to think if I'm missing any other ones really from the new era, maybe,
but maybe the open era might be like maybe there could be a little bit more like more of
that love island magic.
I do understand like not having show mansions on Survivor because there's really not a
world where I can imagine like worried about romance when like I'm dirty and hungry and mad.
But like good for them.
I love the girls that do.
Like, please, Jelly.
Bring back show mans.
I want to see it.
Give me drama.
Give me love.
Give me lore.
Yeah.
But unfortunately, we were robbed, at least the first half of the season, unless they do a little trap swap.
Maybe.
Maybe keep an eye out for it.
Yeah.
Dev, I thought, really was one of the standout people of the episode.
Jeff said before the season that he thought there was a player on this season who he thought could host Survivor after.
He hangs it up.
I didn't know who it was.
I think it's Devin.
I think it's Dev.
Yes.
Okay.
I could see that.
Devin has very bright, very loud, in a good way, energy.
You can tell that he's very easy to navigate relationships.
You can tell he doesn't close himself off to anybody.
And he's very perceptive, or at least it seemed that way.
It was very interesting.
His choices at tribal council and just straight up saying, I'm bought it for her.
I don't care.
I'm like, all right now.
He had a very different approach.
I think he called it radical honesty
was something that he was going to bring to the game.
Can you compare that in any way that,
is that at all like what Q was bringing to Survivor?
Because he was the type of person
where he would come out and say,
what was on his about?
Was it always honest?
I mean, maybe you could tell me better.
But here's, here's Evan.
He's like, hey, this is what I'm doing.
This is who I'm voting for.
And there's very few players on Survivor
that are doing that.
So I wouldn't go as far as,
say what Q was doing was radical honesty because a lot of the times Q was just saying the first thing
that popped into his head. But Q was like doing it in a way to just kind of like sow seeds of
chaos. Like you know they call him chaos Q. So radical honesty, no kind of just doing things. Yes.
Sometimes he was honest. But like not all the time. Sometimes Q would literally say things with so much
conviction, but you know that he's lying. So I would not compare the two at all. Do you think that
Dev's approach will work? I think it will work until it doesn't. I don't think that radical
honesty is something that you can practice all the time with Survivor. Sometimes you got to
really lie. You got a lot of people's face so bad that like you almost start to believe the lie.
Because if you're 100% honest with everybody playing Survivor, that's basically like playing
cards and saying, here, here's all my cards, do whatever you want with them.
you're basically giving somebody an opportunity to run up on you.
Yeah.
You can't.
I really enjoyed it as a viewer.
I think that there were some people in the tribe,
but we heard that Tanan was somebody who was like, okay, I can kind of see what he's doing.
I thought the vote might have flipped against Dev at one point.
I really thought it was going that way.
I might be too much dip on your chip.
Yeah.
You might have slowed down.
So I was worried about him, but I think he's going to be a really fun character.
But he has this interesting relationship with Brady where.
Yeah.
Him and Brady, they get along really well, and Brady didn't want to vote with DeF.
He said that Debs's like, I can't vote for Alia.
I'm voting for Jenna.
He's like, well, we're not on the same page, but we're still good, but you do your thing and I'll do my thing.
That was very interesting to me.
Yeah.
Very diplomatic.
I said, okay, I see the approach.
I understand it.
But again, that's going to work until it doesn't.
Um, that's a very interesting relationship.
I don't have many thoughts on that other than when it does come to a head is going to be fireworks.
Yeah.
I don't know how long that will last.
I think that's this kind of thing you can do in a 10 person tribe where it's like, okay, this is kind of low stakes.
This is who I want out.
This is who you want out.
Let's see what happens.
Yeah.
And it'll be interesting now that as the tribe starts to get smaller.
Uh, and maybe it won't get smaller because maybe Lewis is going to join them.
But, uh, yeah, I saw him like in the.
preview. It looked like he was on the yellow tribe. I'm not too sure. At first, I thought he was going to be the one to flip the coin.
Maybe he will be. If anybody's going to do it, I think that you just picked the right person.
I thought so. If he's there long enough, Lewis will flip the coin. I thought he was going to have to flip the coin to determine whether or not he will go back to a tribe.
But it doesn't seem that that's the way this is going.
So tell me about Lewis, who ends up being the person to volunteer to go off to Exa Island. This would never be you, right?
At no point in time would I ever.
First of all, we don't even have tribes yet, for real.
I'm not volunteering to go off on a journey.
That is like putting a guaranteed target on your back.
Good luck to him, and God bless when he goes back.
Because this is a survivor.
Everybody is a lot of people.
They're looking for a stamp.
They're looking for a way to slap a scarlet letter on you.
They're just going to assume he has something, even if he doesn't.
And, you know, also, God bless his heart, because he really was out there just a hacking away at that wood.
And I really wanted him to succeed.
His hands was all tore up.
But yeah, I don't think that was a smart decision to go out there first.
Yeah.
I think it's going to work for him, but I don't, I wouldn't, I wouldn't do that.
No.
No.
No, it's a terrible idea.
I would be one of the 20 other people that was like, okay, well, good job, Lewis.
Like, you know, we love this for you, but, you know.
See you never.
And even like if it was something that was advantageous to the tribe, like, for example, I think in the beginning, like,
you know, the fight for supplies.
Like, oh, pick one person to go off and try to earn your supplies.
He just went off.
And it's like, it's too early to be doing all that.
You're not in danger.
You don't know anybody here.
It's not necessary.
I mean, somebody has to do it so good on you, but could never be me.
Yeah.
And so that idol is still there.
I was listening to Tyson's podcast.
Okay.
Tyson and Riley were talking about that.
Do you think that maybe that that idol is still going to be there?
and that you're going to have to, the next person is going to get the machete again,
and do they get to pick up where Lewis left off?
That's so crazy if they do that.
I'm like, no.
I hope that's not the case because that's like so anticlimactic,
because then he's already done majority of the work.
However, if they do go out there and that is the case,
that might give him a little bit of ammo if he decides to come back and tell the truth
and be like, hey, the next person that goes out there is definitely getting an idol.
So just know when they come back.
Do you think Lewis is going to be okay when he shows up at this other tribe now?
No.
Really?
Well, I don't know because I don't know much about him.
I haven't seen him interact with people yet.
So he seems like a pretty charismatic guy.
So maybe he will be.
Do you know who he said the player that he would play most like was?
No.
Somebody from your season.
Don't say Q.
Not Q.
Kenzie?
No.
Who?
Venus.
Oh, the He.
He's not going to be okay.
No.
No, absolutely not.
That was his role model.
No.
I love that he thinks that that is going to work from him.
But, yeah, no, babe.
If he gets out there and plays like Venus,
because Venus is somebody who's like,
she's very opinionated,
she's going to say what's on her mind,
and she's not afraid to ruffle feathers.
At this point in the game, babe, it's very early.
If that's what you plan on doing on a tribe of 10,
after you just went on a journey
and God who knows what from God knows where,
babe, you're going home.
He says he does want to be very chaotic.
He also loves chaos.
And that's why he's doing these things.
Well, we see.
He's off to a great start.
If that's what he wants.
Good luck to that, man.
Good luck to him.
You know, I want to talk a little bit about the other tribe that we haven't talked about.
Okay.
And talk about the Eric and Rob.
And we have Rhode Island Rob and Eric who's also from.
He's from Rhode Island, too, right?
But Rhode Island, Rob says there can only be one person.
from Rhode Island on the show.
Wasn't Eric the one that was initially excited to have somebody else there from Rhode Island?
So they are definitely on two different ends of the spectrum.
Yes.
Eric seems like a character.
He's like, I think he was like singing show tunes at one point.
He was, they felt like I guess he was doing too much.
Yeah.
It seemed like that he was very excited to be there.
He went out, he caught a fish.
He was so excited.
He was, you know, dedicating it to.
his fiance, but it seemed like the other players were getting a little irritated.
Is this a relatable experience for you where that you could be with somebody who is like,
it's just this too much talking and they're just starting to get on your nerves a little bit?
Absolutely.
One thousand percent.
Now, I think that there are many people out there that have, you know,
bore witness to me being aggravated by people who just doing too much.
on the island and that's okay but it's something I can relate to but it also
tells me that he might be fine because usually when somebody comes in and
they're doing too much and they're a nuisance while people do want to get them
out that's usually not the person that people are scared of you're like oh
we could get him out at any time and that's usually what that turns into so I
went from thinking oh he's going home to wait a minute if he's annoying people this
much unless he's like egregious with it he'll probably be fine for like a couple more votes yeah
i would be so happy if i was on a tribe and there was somebody that was like okay this person's
getting on everybody's nerves i love this so much i would be trying to egg them on yeah i would say
like do more yeah do more of this like tell us tell us another story i definitely used to be
that person like i would have been saying to coach like coach any more haiku bro so y'all didn't see
a lot of this, but on our original Kalo tribe, I used to be the one that just would like
asking for more stories. Like, yeah, what happened? And you were on that canoe for how many days
and that shark ate you and spit you out? And what else? Tell us more. Because I'm like, well,
what else are we doing out here? Like, but then what happened? Coach broke you? No.
Honestly, like, coach never really got on my nurse too bad. I found it entertaining, right?
For a long time, I looked at coach as kind of like, you know that uncle that's at the cookout
that people are oh that's just uncle so-and-so don't pay him no mind like that's how i looked at
coach because he wasn't necessarily like a nuisance it i know that some people were like bothered by it
i wasn't coach didn't piss me off until we got to the merge and he started trying to get me out
and i'm like what are you doing like and it was just like out of nowhere i'm like okay see now we're
you went from being the old uncle at the cookout to now i got to send you home i got to pack you
up and to go play it sends you on you way and i mean i wonder how the producers felt about me
egging him on and like you know asking for more stories i'm sure they were they loved it
they didn't show too much of it but it didn't really push the story forward so like i get it yeah okay
so you have eric who is you know doing his thing and then here's rob who's trying to really
throw him under the bus.
What did you think of Rhode Island, Rob?
I feel like he kind of gave me Tony vibes a little bit.
I'm like, this man is already trying to start drama.
And poor Eric, he was just out there trying to catch a fist.
He's trying to make friends.
I mean, he might be a little bit of a nuisance,
but he's not really a threat that people need to neutralize.
And I think that right now, because it's so early,
people are looking for any reason to do anything.
But I think that Rob, Rhode Island Rob, his antics are going to get old fast if he doesn't pump the brakes a little bit.
Yeah.
I think he's going to be really interesting to watch because I feel like he's one of these people that's not really a – doesn't mind being the villain.
Yeah, you can tell.
Yeah.
And I think it's going to be interesting.
He has a couple of allies and he has the idol also.
Now, were you annoyed that he got an idol?
it wasn't even a beware advantage.
I saw how hard you had to work to get an idol and run around.
Doing the most.
The whole Yanu beach.
Decoated hieroglyphics.
Like, come on.
And now you just get to get an idol for nothing.
I'm like, wow.
Time sure have changed, haven't that?
But it's very interesting because not only did he get that idol just for existing,
but they are on Yanu's beach.
I remember watching him.
I'm like, oh, I look there.
I look there.
I look there.
Like, I was crawling up the side of a rock wall, all kinds of crap.
And I'm like, this man just walked past a tree branch and just, boop, idle.
I'm like, must be nice.
Must be nice.
Must be nice.
Like, but I mean, we'll see what he does with it.
Do you think that they should still be beware advantages?
Or do you like that they, I think that if you ask Jeff, he would say, like, yeah, this was a regular idol,
but the next idol could be a beware advantage.
And you know what?
I do think that that is probably, that's probably a possibility.
I think that somebody at some point this season is probably going to find a beware advantage
just we just do whatever we want now.
Yeah.
But, hey, that's the open era.
Yeah.
Like, woo-hoo.
Like, you know that meme of like Tyrese where he's like crying.
He's like, congratulations.
That's awful because I'm like, congratulations.
But like, I wish it was that easy for me.
Yeah.
I think that people will be upset if there's like a regular idol on one beach and then there's a
beware advantage on the other beach.
But there's nothing they could do about it.
There's nothing you can do about it.
I personally would be upset.
I'm like, so you mean to tell me you just walked up to a tree and grabbed it?
And I had to swim out to the middle of the ocean and dive down and solve a puzzle.
I would be pissed.
I'll be so pissed.
But knowing Jeff, that's exactly what we're in store for this season.
Yeah.
See, I love this for you also, that you can now say, like, okay, these open era players, they don't know how hard we had.
It's so easy.
Now you know, all the old players are like 26 days.
Come on.
I mean, but y'all had rice.
Like, we had to earn our rice.
Yeah.
I don't think they got rice.
No, they didn't get rice.
Rice didn't come back in the open era.
So I'm like, okay, fine, they got to work for something.
They have to work for idols.
They have to work for the supplies.
Should they get rice?
No.
They already got everything else.
No.
Work for something.
Damn.
No.
I don't care if they get rice.
I feel like, who can do you?
cares. We're at home. Me. I'm a
hater. I care. Let me hate.
No, I care. Earned
something. Yeah.
Were there other players that really
stood out to you? Yeah. Okay.
I like Jelly. I like Devin.
I liked
Ori because of his
proximity to Jelly.
I'm trying to think. I can't remember
everybody's name. What's the guy with
the long hair? Kilby.
Oh, Kilby. Yeah. He seems
fun. He seems fun. He seems. He seems.
It seems like somebody who is going to provide a lot of entertainment value this season.
They say that he reminds people of somebody else that you played with.
He says that he constantly gets that he reminds him of Ben Katzman.
I could see that.
I could definitely see that.
He definitely kind of has like this like chill, go with the flow vibes, very Ben of him.
But I'm interested.
I don't think he's going to be like an aggressive player by any means.
It seems like he's still figuring out what it is that's going on out there.
But I like that.
It seems kind of innocent and pure.
Like, I'm interested to see where he goes with this.
Yeah.
And I was surprised at the tribal council that he was like as vocal as, as Dev was about Jenna and her not opening up.
We haven't really talked about her.
And she's going through a divorce.
Yeah.
And she didn't feel comfortable talking about herself.
had you encountered that at all with people that you played with where you feel like that somebody's just not opening up?
Yeah, and it ended up with them going home.
So that was the story with Jess on Yonoo.
And it wasn't because Jess wasn't a great player or like it wasn't because she wasn't funny because Jess was like super funny.
And like she was a joy to be around.
But the problem was she wasn't opening up and talking game.
And I remember like having a conversation with both Q and Kenzie and I was just like, I don't
know. Like it doesn't seem like she's like opening up for real because at that point we got to
the beach it might have been like 10 minutes. Kenzie's like we locked in. We best friends like let's play
together and Q2. But then Jess like she was just a little bit more of a slow burn which is fine.
But when you are the first team to lose, it's a little more difficult to allow the pacing to
catch up. And I remember just didn't really talk game with me like all right, what do we want to do
as far as who were voting out until the day she was going home.
So I'm like, well, I kind of already have a plan.
But I can see that.
I was on a tribe where that happened.
Yeah.
And I was so happy for her that it seemed like she kind of turned it around.
I love that she spoke up and, like, you know, fought at the end.
I'm sad that Alia went home because I liked her.
And she was giving me like real Jersey energy.
Is she from Jersey?
She's actually, I think also from Rhode Island.
Oh, she is.
okay well she was giving me East Coast energy for sure and I'm like she might seem like
somebody that is interesting to watch play but you know Jenna was like a-uh y'all not sending
me home that easy do you think that Jenna can bounce back now yeah absolutely I think now that like
I think all Jenna has to do is go back to camp and be like hey y'all my bad I just this is what
I was hiding something but it's not my profession like I'm this she has to be vulnerable yeah
She has to open up.
And I think that that usually is advantageous to people, especially when you open up early.
It'll bring people closer to her.
She never know.
There might be somebody with a shared experience.
Did you lie about anything about yourself when you played Survivor the first time?
I don't know.
I don't think so.
I was pretty honest about, like, my profession and where I grew up and what I did.
But also, I don't think that, like, what I do is, like, threatening to anybody.
Actually, I lied a little bit.
What?
Like, I told people.
that I was just an artist, but what I didn't tell people is that like I've been like a video
producer for like 11 years and like I'm good at like management and reading people and like,
you know, directing and doing things. So I'm like I didn't think that was threatening, but I feel like
working with an artist is like a lot easier to palette than like a producer. Because I feel
like producer like it could kind of get sketchy a little bit depending on who you're talking to.
So as a video producer, do you think it's abnormal that Janet doesn't have a shot list?
for the wedding.
Yes.
Let me tell you.
That's crazy.
Because there was a point in time
where I was a photographer
and I've shot a few weddings.
And after like my first two weddings,
I was like, I ain't never doing this crap again.
It is stressful.
It is crazy.
And the shot list is like,
you need that.
I don't even know how she gets through the day
without shot list.
Like, and brides are crazy.
And sometimes the people around them
are even crazier.
They're like, did you get this?
Did you get this?
And it's just nice.
to be like, yes, here it is.
Stop bugging me.
I got this.
Yeah.
So now you've coming off of season 50 where you're such a big part of it.
So many of these players had just watched you play.
And I see all the time on social media.
People are still not over that you didn't win on season 50.
How are you handling this new place in the Survivor universe?
You know, it's bittersweet, right?
Because I do appreciate the fact that, like, a lot of fans and people who watch the show can appreciate what I have to offer now.
Because I didn't even feel like, even though I know what I'm capable love as a player.
The first time I played, I'm like, oh, man, I had so much more to give.
People don't even know how good of a player I am.
But now it's like a different type of frustration because it's like, oh, my God, everybody knows how good I am.
and I was this close to winning.
So it's sweet because everybody is like, you know, now giving me my props.
And like I also feel like I've shown people as good of a player.
I've shown people that I'm as good of a player as I think that I am.
And the people agree with me.
But also kind of sucks and people like, man, you really should have won.
I'm like, girl, I know.
Stop telling me that.
So over the summer, I saw you when you were on,
the panel for the Survivor Emmy for your consideration.
Yeah.
And I believe there was a video.
And Jeff in the video said, correct if I'm wrong, you will, you will play again.
And you know what?
I love Jeff, man.
Jeff is, if it's one thing he is, he's just like, you can tell he's so passionate about
this.
He's very consistent.
And it felt good to have Jeff acknowledge, like, you know, like I saw.
more in Tiffany, and she came out there and did exactly what I thought she was going to do.
So, like, it feels good to make Jeff proud and, you know, live up to what he thought,
you know, live up to his expectations.
But at the same time, I'm like, now I'm nervous because I've shown how good I am,
and I'm no longer a dark horse.
So it's like I go into the game and everybody is like, oh no, we saw what you did last time,
get her out of here.
So while the idea of going back is fun and thrilling and I would love to do it,
I'm also like, do I go back with like a huge target on my back and be a first boot?
Or like...
I don't think you'd be a first boot in any circumstances.
But I feel like just to like look like to the past and maybe I do that too much.
Like I feel like that you are right now.
I feel like you're like where Kelly Wentworth was after second chances.
Yeah.
That she came into second chances and then really was like the you should have one person that came.
out of that and then it's like okay and then it felt like for a couple years all right how
are they going to bring back Kelly Wentworth and so it's but it's a tricky spot to be in
it is because now it's like imagine being the you should have one person and then go back and be a
flop yeah I don't know it's a lot of pressure it's a lot of pressure okay we won't talk it up
anymore yeah I mean like would I do it realistically yes but it's always different
because you don't know what you're going to be faced with.
Like you don't know who you're going to be playing against.
You don't know what twists are going to be throwing at you.
And people are going to view me a lot differently now that they know what I'm capable of.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
So this episode started with a marooning of everybody getting thrown off of the boat to start things off.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Would you have liked that?
Would you have like to have been marooned?
No.
No.
No.
I felt like our experience was chaotic enough because you guys didn't really see like the depth of it.
But that boat ride to the Maruna Challenge on 50, we went into torrential downpours.
Like it was insane.
It was so bad.
Like the makeup, I wore makeup that day because like we were taking pictures and stuff.
The rain was so bad.
It washed all my makeup off.
My eyelashes was hanging off.
One of them blew away in the wind.
I'm like.
Was that when you guys?
like took those pictures that were like
and then there was like,
it seemed like that there was like some kind of like
crazy filter on those pictures.
Is that?
So yes.
Is that why they had to do that?
I don't know what that was about.
At first I thought it was like a joke or something.
I'm like, what is this?
But it was that day.
Yeah.
We had done all that and then,
or was it that day?
Because I feel like that was a really long day.
No, that was a day before.
That was a day before.
We did all of those photos.
And then we did like a little bit more that morning.
and then we got on the boat to go to the marooning.
But I say honest to say, I wore makeup that day.
It was terrible.
So I can't imagine, like, trying to look cute for, like, the press pictures in the morning time,
and then having to jump off the boat into the water.
The marooning is already uncomfortable enough.
I'd much rather compete in the challenge, break myself in, shake off the jitters,
then having to, like, swim to camp.
I like the start.
I think it would.
I'm glad that they changed it up from so many of these seasons where it's,
like the same sort of thing.
Everybody's coming in on the boat.
And then Jeff talks like that, you know,
Jeff said his whole spiel to on the boat.
On the boat.
And then they jumped off.
And then we were seeing the,
because, you know, in the old school seasons,
there wasn't so much like of like Jeff at the beginning and like,
you over there.
Tell me about this.
The Matt chat.
I like the Matt chat.
Yeah.
I think that's too much Matt.
Like in the opening, like I just like nobody.
I don't think anybody's being like authentic.
in the real, like, everybody is just, like, excited and just, you know, like, I'd rather see people
interacting.
I agree with that.
And the one thing that I did appreciate about what they did versus what we did is that instead
of us lining up and everybody talking to Jeff, he kind of sends them all out there together.
And for, like, that brief moment, everybody got to talk to everybody.
Because you rarely get to do that in the beginning of the game.
You don't get to talk to some people until the merge if they make it there.
At least now everybody can get some type of feel of energy.
So I thought that dad was pretty cool.
How long does that match at go with Jeff when you start the game?
You know, I feel like the marooning day is always like a blur.
But I want to say it's not super long.
I feel like with season 50, you get 24 people.
I bet he had asked every single person a question.
No, you didn't.
No.
He only asked some people questions.
He got like reactions and acknowledged some people,
but asking everybody a question would have been nuts.
He, it wasn't that, it didn't feel that long, maybe like 30 minutes, 35 minutes.
It could have been longer.
I feel like that whole day is just one big blur to me.
Did you get a question?
Yeah, I think so.
I'm pretty sure.
I have the memory of a goatfish show.
I don't know.
I'm pretty sure I did.
I said something.
Like, I laughed.
I think I mentioned, like, you know, how I was feeling, being excited, like, standing
next to Aubrey.
And then, like, me and Aubrey kind of, like, exchanged words.
which was like funny because the way our game ended up going.
But yeah, I said something to him.
I don't remember what it was, though.

How do you think that watching season 50 is going to change the way that these players are playing in season 51?
And they didn't get to finish watching.
I think they only watched, I don't know exactly at what point they left.
Yeah.
I think that watching 50, I don't know if it's going to change much about the way they play.
Because 50 was a very different season.
Not only was it like some crazy spectacle with all the twists.
turns but it was a season of returning players so it's very difficult to compare that to a season of people
that are experiencing this for the first time if there's one thing that i hope that they took from it is just
like don't be scared don't don't go out there and play scared because usually people who play scared
go home so you played in season 50 you were very close with d uh we have watched her all season on
big brother um we are recording this
podcast on Thursday afternoon.
We don't know what's going to happen Thursday night.
Yeah.
You might know what's happened since then.
You will, at the time you see this, you probably will know more information than me.
But what have you thought about Dee's run on Big Brother?
I am so freaking proud of her.
I cannot express it enough.
I remember, like, talking to her early on before she went and played.
And I'm a big, like, a Big Brother fan.
So, like, when I found out,
that she was playing, I was excited because Big Brother is not necessarily a show that she watched
a ton or was even really into before she went into the house. So to see her being able to
move and navigate is very exciting, but also not shocking at all. I know what Dee is capable
up. I've played with her. I've watched her play. Like, it's not surprising at all. And it was like,
in the beginning of the season, I kept hearing people like, oh, it's rigged, it's rigged, all these
advantages or leaning towards such and such. And I'm like, that's not. That's not. That's not.
not necessarily true, right? My take on it is, were the advantages in the beginning, like
in the opportunity for HOH only for the icons, I think even the playing field. I think that it gave
them a little time, like a week or so, to get their footing and make relationships outside
of what people knew them to be. Because that could have worked against them. People could have
been even more aggravated with them after the two weeks and wanted to send them out of there.
But they didn't. And the fact that they have survived.
this long, it's just a testament to what survivor players do.
We survive.
I think that having the survivors in Big Brother this season, I think it added a lot to it,
I think that they would potentially want to do more like that.
Would you, now Jeff has said Tiffany's going to come back.
But if Big Brother said, hey, we loved having the survivor players here on Big Brother,
would you go and do that?
As long as it didn't conflict, then yeah, I'll do both.
Like, you know what?
Yeah, I'll do both.
Jeff says he doesn't care now if people do other shows.
I mean, I believe Jeff, but I will really believe Jeff when he brings more like
the brother players onto Survivor.
Well, I don't know if he'll do that, but he says he doesn't get mad when people go
and do the traders now.
No, and he told me that.
Like, I had a conversation with him.
He was like, no, I want you to.
I want you to go.
Go.
Oh.
Like, have fun.
Like, he told me personally.
He's like, Kevin and Brady.
He's like, hey, like, go.
do your thing and I'll do my thing.
Yeah, he told me he's like, girl, I don't care.
Go have fun.
I want you to experience all the things.
People love you.
I want people on other shows to experience and love you the way we do on Survivor.
So I'm like, you know what, Jeff?
You ain't so bad.
Speaking of other shows, I have to know how do you think Q is going to do on the
Traders?
Because I am so happy for Q, but I'm also so happy for me that I get to
watch Q on the traders.
Yes.
I am praying that they make Q a traitor.
Because I feel like that is when they're going to get the most bang for their buck.
Making Q a faithful, it just, it doesn't make sense, in my opinion.
I think Q is going to run through that house like a wrecking ball.
But I think that he's going to be able to really sink his teeth in if he doesn't feel like he's on the chopping block every single night.
Yeah.
Or maybe he'll act even crazier if he feels like he's on the chop.
So I think that Hugh would be great as a traitor, but I think that he might also be great as a faithful also because I think that he is going to be so chaotic that the traitors will never murder him.
And so they like having a distraction.
They like having people around who are going to accuse other people and create all this diversions that keep people from looking at the real traitors.
So I think that he's going to be that like he has an ability.
to be so chaotic, it'll be like he has a permanent shield.
And so as long as he can go and not get banished at the roundtable,
yeah.
That's going to be, I think, the biggest issue for him.
I think it could really work for him as a faithful.
Would they bring him all the way to the end?
And if he realizes that and then is smart enough to also like,
I knew who the traders were the whole time,
but I was playing this whole thing up and then flip the script on them at the end.
Like, it could be.
I hope that he does.
and I really, I'm very excited to watch him play.
The only thing that makes me nervous is that for whatever reason,
whatever reason, gamers get such a bad rap on traitors.
Like, they come for us first.
They're like, you play Big Brother, you play Survivor, we've got to get them out of here.
But they're only for this season, so maybe they're not going to look at them as, like, as threatening.
Yeah, but even still, it's like, why do you guys think that
where are the scariest people there historically, like, have,
they've been scary, but like, what they did with you?
I'm like, ridiculous.
Blast for this.
Like, come on now.
Yes, yes, please.
But you were also really smart.
What are you going to do?
You just said the right thing to the wrong person.
Yeah, yeah, we don't have to revisit that.
Okay, okay.
I have some questions for you from the listeners.
Oh, fun.
All right.
So we asked people on social media to send us in your questions for Tiffany.
And so let me go ahead.
and bring them up.
And so here we go.
Okay.
All right.
Let me see.
How about, let me see.
Some of the things we talked about.
Okay.
All right.
Oh, from Lily Roach.
Who is your winner pick?
Jelly.
Yes.
Jelly is my winner pick.
I don't know why she just gives me winter energy.
No other reason other than that.
Tommy Guam.
wants to know. What's a better nickname for a season? Forty-several or 50-fun? Eric was trying to
coin before the season. This is not Survivor 51. It's Survivor 50 fun. I hate that.
I didn't like it either. I didn't like it either. I saw him on Saturday at the Survivor 51 launch
event, and he's like, I think it's catching on. I don't think it is. It's not catching on, babe. I probably
she was not. No. No. I like 40-several, though. Forty-sever was good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Edmo wants to know who from both of your cast would you see being the lone person to go on the journey to exile?
All right.
In season 46, you're all on the beach together.
Jeff says pick one person that's going to go to leave the group.
Okay.
Who would have done that?
Now, are you asking who the group would pick or who I think would be the first to go?
Yeah, first to go.
Venus.
I think Venus would be like, I'm going.
And she would not care about the...
That's why she's like Lewis.
Exactly.
Venus would not care about the repercussions.
My girl does what she wants.
And I feel like Venus would be the first to raise her hand to go.
Okay.
What about in season 50?
Ooh.
Out of everybody,
maybe...
I want to say like either Devons or...
Yeah, that gets...
Or Q.
Devons are Q.
I guess he being the Devon.
We talked about Dee and her run on Big Brother.
I know.
As Tiffany lost an earring.
We lost an earring.
If you're listening to the podcast.
It's all right.
But you spent a lot of time with Devons in the game in season.
What's it been like watching him on Big Brother?
Devons is so fun.
Devons is so freaking fun to watch.
And it's very interesting because on 50, a lot of people were intimidated by Devin's style of
gameplay.
Because he is like a little bit chaotic, unpredictable, but I was always so amused by his antics.
And I just used to love to see like, what is Devin's going to do next?
Like I just know that today's going to be a fun day as long as Devin's is still here.
And he's doing exactly what I thought he would do in Big Brother house.
I think he's been so different on Big Brother where on Survivor, he's always like at the bottom.
And he's always like, okay, what is he going to do next?
Yeah.
And I think that he has had moments where that you can.
get like that for like a night where it's like, okay, I'm gonna like, I'm gonna put Rome up on
the block. I'm gonna play the diamond power of Vito. But for the most part, I think he's been
like very calm and like I feel like you're not necessarily scared of like, okay, what crazy
thing is he going to do next? Yeah, I don't think that it's a scared situation, but I also see that
he's doing a great job of balancing things this season. Like he has the crazy moments, but it's when
he needs to be crazy.
And he's really good at the competitions.
I mean, Devin's has always been a great competitor.
Even on, like, Survivor, he was winning.
But I think that he's doing a great job of balancing things out.
And he is a great big brother player, even better than I expected him to be.
Yeah.
Yeah, I really thought that he might flame out earlier in the season where, you know,
he's just never had that kind of like success, like really.
And I shouldn't say that because he,
He was in a great position to win in the edge of extinction before Chris came back from the edge.
Yeah.
But for the most part, like, the story of Survivor has been like he's like the scrappy underdog on the bottom.
And this has been very much he's played Big Brother this season from the top.
I think it's very interesting watching him play from the top versus the bottom because I feel like when he's playing from the top,
he's doing a good job of like sitting back and like waiting for his moment versus the opposite where it's like,
let me just cause as much chaos as possible and then navigate my way through it.
Okay.
We haven't talked about Mike.
Luxey says, what do you think about Mike in his position in the tribe?
Remind me who.
Mike, he is the executive for the Yankees.
Oh, yeah.
I don't know what to make of him just yet.
I feel like he's going to be a weasily guy.
And not in a bad way, but I feel like he's one of those people where you're going to have
to like keep one eye on him because he seems like the type of player and I could just be pulling
this out of thin air but he seems like the type of player to kind of like toss the grenade in there
and they go run behind the trees and see what happens you know he is somebody else who said that
he was going to play like somebody from your season oh really and who did he say he was going to play
like Charlie you want to know something when I thought about him I thought about Charlie yeah
and it was random I didn't say it but like he kind of does like like you kind of does like
give me Charlie energy. He seems like somebody who is going to calculate.
He's even got like kind of like Charlie hair. Yeah. Yeah. I could see it. I could see it.
And again, Charlie's that person like he's very calculated. Like he'll throw the grenade,
watch it play out and then come back and like, oh, can I can I help you guys with anything?
Like yeah, very methodical, very smart. He seems like that type of guy.
Yeah, I could see that too. Okay. Jeff wants to know who had a rougher first three
three days in the game. Lewis or the Yanu tribe?
Yanu.
Yonu. Lewis is still playing.
We had to send people home. Like, we were just really, because we had to go through all the
things that Lewis is going through. Like the, I mean, except for being alone, but like,
the elements, the not having what we needed. And then also, we had to lose and vote people
out. He hasn't had the distinction of being a loser and having to go to tribal council.
yet.
Yeah.
Last night,
Zach said this.
He posted on Twitter today that what do you think of this twist where
Lewis that Jeff will come back and say, okay, Lewis, you can stay here on exile
island for three more days.
You won't get voted out.
You get to stay in the game.
But you have to stay here or you can go back into the game.
And he gets to choose to stay on exile.
Why would he ever choose to stay on exile?
That's absolutely not.
Because he can't get voted out.
He has immunity.
Yeah.
But then that's three.
three more days that you're not building relationships.
You are guaranteed to be booted out as soon as you get back to tribal.
That is the dumbest thing I ever heard.
No.
I mean, he could do it, but he surely signing his ticket home.
He seemed like he wanted to get out of there.
Yeah, ex-all sucks.
I mean, now, I say that with a day, so I've never been to exile.
But from what I heard, exile sucks.
I wouldn't want to be there for longer than I had to.
Okay.
How about, this is a question from Scott.
are in tribes of 10, how much more difficult is it to know where the votes are going?
Are live tribals more likely to happen in a group of 10?
Absolutely.
I think live tribals are almost inevitable in a group of 10.
We saw it episode one.
I feel like that is very obvious, especially when you have a group of people that are strong-willed
and willing to impose their thoughts on everybody else.
And there's far less likelihood that people are going to make a decision to stick with it.
And it's harder to get 10 people on the same page than three or four.
Because four people is really all you need to run a tribe of six.
But now you got to have a little more conversation.
Besides Jelly, is there anybody in this cast that you watch them?
And you're like, oh, I could really work with that person.
Hmm.
That's a good question.
I think I could really work with, I think I can really work with Devin.
Yeah.
He seems like somebody who is fun but also smart, very easy.
He's very perceptive.
It seems like he knows.
Do you ever see him on Gray's Anatomy?
I did not.
Yeah.
I didn't know he was on Grey's Anatomy.
That's kind of cool.
Yeah.
But now that I know he's an actor, I don't know if I can work with him.
Oh.
No, I'm joking. I'm joking.
I feel like as a survivor player, he seems like somebody who's willing to like take risks, make moves,
but also somebody who will like shoot straight.
So I think I can work with him.
I'm trying to think, is there anybody else out there that, like, stood out to me?
I feel like I haven't had a lot of insight
to how people on Purple Tribe are thinking
as far as their gameplay because they won
and you know they usually show more of the losing tribe
but what's good is that when we have these two tribes
that we're not going to have like with your tribe on
season 50 where you know we have the tribe that like
is successful and then we don't see them as much
as opposed to where
because now we're only bouncing back
We have three tribes and we spend so much time with one tribe because they're,
and that you benefited from that in season 46.
Yes.
But, you know, there's always like one tribe of people that we don't get to see a lot from
because they win.
Yeah.
So now it's like, you know, we're getting more like, you know, bouncing back and forth.
But I'm excited to see, not that I want purple to lose.
But I'm excited to see like who would they cut because I don't think it's going to be Eric.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
But then who?
I feel like there's almost like nobody else that we've really spotlighted.
Exactly.
I'm like I haven't, I don't know enough about their dynamics just yet.
Yeah.
I feel like I could have worked with Alia.
Like her energy feels very familiar.
It feels very northeast.
It feels very like home.
But she's gone.
Yeah, she's gone.
Okay.
Let's see.
All right.
This is from LCD Power.
Do you think that someone will volunteer for the coin flip or be forced?
I don't know how the coin flip is going to work.
I assume that there's going to be like around where we're going to,
Jeff's going to say, okay, this is the coin flip.
Tonight somebody is going to flip the coin.
I don't know what at what point in the game that is.
I think that in order for somebody to volunteer for the coin flip,
it's going to have to come at a point where somebody's really desperate.
Somebody almost has to be certain that they're careful.
that they're catching votes and like is likely to go home.
Like Devin's, that night where he flipped the coin, he knew it was going to be him.
And it absolutely was going to be him, which is kind of why I was like pushing him to flip the coin
because I didn't want Devin's to go home at that point.
Yeah, I wonder if we might see this season or in the future where like multiple people want to flip the coin.
Where they fight over it.
Where it's like, hey, like Rick Devin's wants to flip the coin.
And then like does Stephanie in that spot say, no, no, no, no, no.
I want to flip the coin because if he flips the coin and he's,
he makes it, then I'm gonna go home.
So let me flip the coin.
Yeah.
And then at least I can get an idol, maybe.
I think maybe like if we had had the coin flip on episode one, Jenna and Aliyah might have fought over it.
Because they both played their shot in the dark.
I mean, shot in the dark is one and six.
Coin flip is 50-50.
Exactly.
Did you think the shot in the dark was gonna hit?
No.
Yeah.
It's episode one.
I mean, granted, it's like, you know, it's early.
We've had a shot in the dark hit on episode one.
But like, how many times do we see the shot in the dark actually hit?
I never expected to hit.
It's always a nice surprise when I see it.
Yeah.
I really did think that the way that it was like that the music was like they, I mean,
the editors are really good at like pulling the rug out from.
Yeah.
And then the way that Jeff was like, uh, one at a time, please.
Like, uh, like I feel like that.
I was like, oh, he knows that it's going to be, it's good.
Like, he wants to have everything set up perfectly.
He wants the drama.
He wants the drama.
Uh, but no, I would surprise that, uh, no,
shot in the dark hit. Yeah, I mean, I wasn't surprised, but I kind of did want it to hit.
Like, I want to shake things up. Granted, like, obviously the other person who, who's shot
in the dark didn't hurt would have been going home. I mean, didn't hit would have been going
home. But at that point, I was still thinking they was going to get Devin up out of there.
I didn't want that to happen, but I was, I was thinking, like, episode, like, five or six
vibes and not episode one. I had to put it into perspective for myself, like, people are still
trying to do the easy thing right now.
Yeah.
Ben Gregory wants to know.
How would you have navigated the strategy of the 20-person starting beach at the beginning?
Is there a right way to try to play that when you are on the beach with 20 people?
I think that the Helicopter Alliance had like the right idea.
Yeah.
Like get like four or five people that you really are locked in with.
And then each of you get close to somebody.
Like you can't make it obvious that like your group because then that.
that becomes like threatening to everybody else.
I think it was Sharonda that said it.
She was talking to Ori.
I think to Ori when they,
when they ultimately like,
and that like that like that literally was the cookout plan.
Like yeah, like that's what they did.
And they all had their people that they all like,
we're gonna, okay, I'm gonna get this person.
I'm gonna get this person.
And like it, you know, it works so well.
It's like, you know.
Exactly. I say to this day,
Tiffany was like brilliant mastermind.
Like nobody will ever do it like her.
But that's an excellent plan where you have a large group of people.
We've never seen that on Survivor where people try to execute that exact strategy.
Yeah.
Where, you know, okay, we're together.
Let's all get our plus one.
I mean, it's so much makes so much more sense in Big Brother with us, not tribes.
And then also two people sit on the block.
And then if you sit on the block against the person who's your close ally, it doesn't really,
then you can control the votes.
It could never be executed like that in Survivor.
Survivor is a game with way more unpredictability.
There's a lot more moving parts.
And I think just for like the bigger picture,
like the easy vote, the like,
let's get on the same page with the majority of the people,
because that strategy is not going to go far in Survivor.
It's a very great idea for like a 20-person tribe though.
Yeah.
Because all you need is the majority.
You're not going to get everybody on the same page.
Would you have wanted to stay in the group of 20 for longer?
group of 20 for longer.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like that's just like a big merge.
So that almost is what it felt like on 50 when we merged.
Because I think we merged with like 17 people.
It was nuts.
It was chaotic.
People were running around.
And this is why I say that strategy is only going to go.
But so far, people are grasping at the easy thing.
And it's very easy to manufacture the easy thing.
You have a core group of people that's closer to people.
and then you just got to get on the same page
with like one or two extra folks.

Kristen is somebody that we haven't talked a lot about.
You have any thoughts on Kristen?
Remind me.
I still haven't.
She won the thumb war against
Oh, yeah.
Kilby.
Yeah.
Kristen is somebody who I think is going to be very interesting to watch.
She says she's a lawyer.
Yeah.
So I'm like, I hope she is not going to tell him people out there on the island
because that might put a big target on her back.
But I do feel like she's going to be a strategist.
She's going to be somebody to watch out for.
And I'm very curious to see how she'll perform in challenges,
like if she makes it that far into the game,
like the individual challenges.
Because she seems like somebody who would be good at, like.
Yeah, I know that she is like a bike rider.
And so I think she seems like she might be good for some of these,
like somebody of the challenges in the post-merge or like a ready set standstill.
Like I feel like she could be cut out for that.
I'm very interested to see how her game kind of unfolds and who she ultimately decides to like
align herself with.
But I can definitely see her being a power player this season.
And she linked up with Sharon.
who we haven't talked a lot about either.
Yeah, I feel like they didn't show much of like
outside of the conversation with her and Ori and like their strategy.
I don't know where their head is at as far as like,
who do they like? Who do they not like?
Who would be the first person going home on that tribe?
Other than Eric?
Because I don't think he's going home.
You call me a shot on that.
I don't think Eric is going to be the first person going home.
I really don't.
Unless something crazy happens
and people are suddenly behind Rhode Island Robb.
It's too easy.
It's too easy.
Like, you know.
How about, let me see,
Scott R.
wants to,
how would you feel if Jeff told you
that there would be
permanent uncertainty?
I'd be like, okay,
where's the permanent uncertainty merch?
Come on.
Like, tell me something I don't know
because I already felt
like it was permanent uncertainty.
Survivor is a game.
What do you like that?
A permanent uncertainty
or the monster?
What is the monster?
Jeff used to say like the game the game is a monster the monster is coming you don't know
you're the monster is gonna get you I guess I like permanent uncertainty a little bit more
it kind of gives expecting unexpected a little bit but that's always how I felt about Survivor
now we're just putting the name on it and 50 definitely gave permanent uncertainty we saw things
during 50 that we have never seen before so there was at no point in time where we were certain about
anything I just want to make that clear yeah as a player
Did you like that or would you rather have certainty?
I think it depends on where I'm at.
Because in the new era, there wasn't quite certainty, but you kind of, okay, I'm going to go to the survivor.
There's going to be three tribes.
It's going to be six person in my tribe.
There's going to be be aware advantage.
We're probably going to have merge on day 12 and there's going to be 13 people.
And then they're going to do like two people at one tribal council.
And then I like being able to.
expect something.
Obviously, I'm not certain
about anything, but there are certain
baseline things like, okay, if somebody
found a beware advantage here, then that means that
there's definitely a beware advantage on
the other two tribes. And
I like the idea of
being able to use information
to see if people are lying, right? Because I'm like,
I go there and somebody's like, oh, no,
I just found a straight-up idol. It wasn't beware.
And I'm like, well, you're lying because I found a
beware advantage on my
on my beach. So
you know now you really can't sift through anything so it makes the game a little bit more difficult
it's like telling somebody like go play basketball who's never played basketball they don't know the rules
it's like oh no you'll figure out when get out there no girl tell me something i need rules something
yeah um season 50 was uh so everybody uh you know uh was so excited during season 50 how does survivor
keep that excitement going into the open era?
I think they're off to a great start.
Yeah.
Switch it up.
I like the two tribes.
Bring me the drama.
I think the way to keep it going is this new and like open era of gameplay that's about to come
open, I think it's also going to draw in different types of personalities.
And I do think that the personalities of the different people are also the thing that
drive the game forward.
They're doing a great job of, like, casting different types of people.
Obviously, once you get into that rut of, like, casting the same character types over and over again,
things could get stale, but I don't think they're doing that.
So just, I guess, keep the permanent uncertainty.
Let people play.
And now that there aren't, like, such strict, rigorous, like, you know, guidelines on this is going to happen,
then this is going to happen.
We're going to see a lot more of people's personality shining through and a lot more men.
Was there anybody from season 50 that when you watched the show back, you were really surprised by the game that they were playing or what they were saying in confessionals?
Christian.
Yes.
Really?
In what way?
Yeah.
All right.
So I always thought that Christian was like just like this funny little cutie-patooty.
Yeah.
And to see just how like crazy and out there.
like when he pooped his pants i'm like christian baby what are you doing yeah did you know about that
that story didn't like get told uh no i did not know about that until i saw it on tv like i'm sure that
people were too good you're talking about obri's idol to tell you about christian yeah i was like
what in the world christian christian's confessionals were funny i was very shocked by like
the bromance between him and devons i was not at all shocked by cue but i was shocked at like how early
it manifested. I thought that he was going to, like, you know, do his cute thing. It was going to get him sent
out of the game. I didn't think it was going to happen on, like, episode four or three, whenever it happened.
Yeah. I don't know if there was too many other people that I was, like, shocked by. Because I had
expectations of everybody, baseline expectations, but Christian's confessionals shocked me the most,
but, like, in the best way. I didn't realize how funny he was. Yeah. Did you have much of a relationship
with him in season 50?
Yeah.
Like, Christian and I had, like, very, like, good conversations.
It was funny.
He, I think he, like, kind of researched me a little bit before he came out there
because he came out there in the first thing he said to me was like, you know, talk to me
about juju, how she's doing, how's she doing?
I'm like, how do you know about juju?
So juju is your dog?
Do juju is my dog.
And your dog?
My dog that I'm obsessed with.
My entire life, my world, my son and my star.
Yes, and Rick Devin's daughter also.
Yes, yes.
So I'm like, all right, you know what?
I like you.
I like you a lot.
Christian and I, we got along really well,
which is why I was very sad when he got voted out
because that was one of those situations
where people were grasping at the easy thing
because it was so many of us,
but I didn't want him to go home.
I just wrote his name down
because I'm like, well, I can't fight everybody on this.
They re-aired Survivor 50 this summer.
Okay.
Did you watch any of it the second time around?
I did not.
I did not, but mostly just because I've been really busy this summer.
Yeah.
I feel like.
What are you been up to?
I've been traveling a lot.
In August, I might have been in L.A. like four days total.
I've been, I went to Mississippi to play hunters.
I think I saw you on one of those days.
Yes, yes.
I don't remember.
Where were we at?
We were at the, the Emmys.
Yes.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Not at the Emmys.
At the press.
Yes.
The convention.
Yes.
But I've been traveling.
I went to Mississippi.
I went to Amsterdam.
Hunter does his like survivor child's play recess game.
It was like 100 people.
Yeah, Asia was telling me about it.
Yeah, it was really fun.
And then from there, I went to New Jersey.
Then from there, I went to Amsterdam.
Then from there, I went to Kansas.
How was Amsterdam?
Amsterdam was amazing.
I had the time of my life.
I want to go back.
That was actually my first time in Europe.
Wow.
Yeah.
I went out there because one of my friends was living out there
and his visa was about to be up.
So he got us all out there to visit him
before he goes back to Canada.
And it was amazing.
Then from there, I went to Kansas,
and then I came back to LA finally.
I'm sat for a little bit.
But I haven't had time.
I haven't had time.
But I was out there.
I don't need to watch it again.
I know what went on.
How often do you get recognized now?
A lot more than before.
Like, I feel like on season 46,
I was definitely like recognized,
but now it's like times 10.
And I find like, I don't take offense to this, but I find it funny that I get recognized the most when I'm looking busted.
Like I'm talking about like at the airport when I got like my hoodie and at Trader Joe's when I'm looking like I just rolled out of bed.
And I'm like, you know what?
I understand that you guys saw me on TV when I was.
But I could imagine you with the hoodie on.
Like I could see that.
So like this is how people are used to seeing me.
And then when I get all dolled up and go outside and it's like people rarely recognize me.
I'm like, guys, come on, be so serious.
Well, that's not how they sell you on TV.
I know.
But a lot more, the airport and Trader Joe's is where I get recognized the most.
And, like, randomly at the mall.
Airport is big.
Airport, always at the airport.
There's never a time where I go to airport and somebody doesn't recognize me.
It's so weird.
So I'm like, should I start looking cute at the airport?
I don't know.
And they always ask for pictures.
I'm like, guys, I look like crap right now, please.
So what do you do now?
after season 50, you'll go back at some point.
Yeah.
Maybe you'll go on Big Brother.
Maybe.
You know, right now I am very excited because I am dipping my toe back into my art bag.
And I realized, so I just showed art at an art show.
I want to say like the week before last or last week.
And I realized that this is my first time, like, participating in an art show since I've been living in L.A.
And I've been here for two years.
So I'm like, I think it's about time that I, I love.
let my inner artist start to breathe again. And eventually, like, I'm going to go back and do
TV. But right now, I'm in my art bag. Do you do any survivor-inspired art? You know, I feel like
everything I do is inspired by Survivor, but not in an obvious way. Like, Survivor has impacted,
like, my mental state and my emotions and how I navigate through life. But a blatantly obvious
survivor art, I've only done, like, one. And that was, like, on season 46, but people ask for it a lot.
So I'm like, maybe I need to do more of that.
Like, is that what people want?
I don't know.
People would be very excited, I think, for some survivor-inspired art from you.
Yeah.
People have been asking me for it.
So I'm like, maybe now's the time, you know?
And as an artist, I hate to say it, but I'm one of those artists that only arts when I get inspired.
I'm not as disciplined as I should be.
I've never heard that before.
You are arts.
Yeah, arts.
Like, you know, art as a verb.
Yeah.
I only art when I get inspired.
I need to be more disciplined than just do it even when I'm not.
But I'm inspired now.
So now I'm doing that.
I'm writing a little bit.
What are you writing?
I like to write stories.
I'm a storyteller.
I write a lot of fantasy, fiction.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
Like what kind of stuff?
Like what kind of stuff?
So it's funny enough.
Like I wrote a book.
This is just for me.
I've never shared it with anybody publicly.
I've never put it anyway.
What's it about?
It's about a girl who is in a magic kingdom,
and she's basically fighting to take her kingdom back from people
who are trying to, like, kill off the people that are, like, magic.
And I'm very deep into, like, fantasy fiction.
So I love it.
And I write, but I don't share it with anybody.
So I'm like, maybe now's the time that I, like, start doing that.
This could be huge.
That's, like, the thing that's for me, though, right?
Because I feel like whenever I do things and I start to,
share art, there's this thing that goes off in your brain and it's like, well, now I have to
monetize it. Now it's a job. And then maybe I don't enjoy it as much. I don't know. You wrote a whole
book. And nobody has ever read it. Not what, not even like a friend. Nobody. Not even like
Stephen Fishback. Nobody has ever read it. My wife has really been into reading these like
Court of Roses. Oh, the Court of Thorn and Roses. Yes. Yes. She's very into it. It's very
very sweet. Yeah. Okay. I love, I love that. Right now, I'm in the
of reading the Ember and the Ashes series by Sabah Tihir.
Okay.
I love fantasy, fiction, sci-fi.
Yeah.
And that's just like my thing.
But maybe I will start like sharing more of it.
That's so incredible that you have this thing and that you work on it.
It's just mine.
And nobody.
I'm also like very sensitive about like in the way I'm sensitive about like my painting.
Now I know I'm good at it.
But like my writing, I've never publicly shared it.
I'm like, what if people hate it?
Like I don't know.
Yeah.
Well, you got to do it.
That was like, you know, you got to get it out there.
I feel like now I've told you too much.
Now everybody knows.
Now people are going to be expecting to read something.
Yeah.
It was so fun to follow your thoughts on Love Island over the summer.
I know you're watching Big Brother.
What else are you watching?
So I haven't started it yet, but I'm about to start watching Traders New Blood.
I heard it's very good.
But I've been like really busy these past couple weeks.
And somebody also told me that it ends on like a cliffhanger, like episode two.
You know, it's only 42 minutes, so they have some weird stuff they have to do with the cliffhangers.
So I'm like, let me let it air out a little bit.
I need to, I'm a, I like a binge.
Yeah.
So I'm about to dive back into that.
I am ashamed to say this, but I have not finished House of the Dragon yet because I've been very busy.
And, you know, I'm a little hesitant because I'm like a big animal lover and I know that this is the season where all the dragons die.
so I've been kind of putting it off on watching it.
I don't want to see anything bad happen to the dragon.
That's the one show that my wife and I watch together
and she really enjoys how she likes House of the Dragon
more than Game of Thrones.
I think I kind of do too.
Yeah.
I do too.
You know, I thought that the first two seasons were just okay.
I really like the third season.
Yeah.
And I'm trying to think what else am I watching.
Those are like the things that are like at the forefront of what I'm watching right now.
And I told myself that I'm not going to start.
any new series until I finish House of the Dragon.
So that's on my plate.
And then I have to start Traders U.S.
The new blood.
It's only a couple of episodes in.
Yeah.
So I know I haven't missed much.
I'm waiting for there to be more episodes so I can binge.
Yeah.
Okay.
And obviously Survivor.
And obviously Survivor.
That's only once a week.
Yeah.
Especially when Big Brother's off the schedule, like, oh, we're going to have so much time.
I know.
But like Apple TV randomly has like a bunch of good shows.
but I'm also like I try to limit the amount of time that like I spend watching TV
well yeah you're writing a book yeah you can read and weirdly enough like I find that when I watch
too much TV while I'm writing it starts to influence the stories that are in my head so I'm like
no I want this to just be my story yeah that's so interesting about you see the stories are in your
head I have so this is a fun fact about me yeah and not a lot of people know this outside of
people that are close to me. But I keep a book next to my bed. And randomly, and it happens a lot,
I'll wake up at like two or three in the morning after having like super vivid dreams. And I write
them down. Like I hurry up and write them down before they leave my head. This book is filled with so many
crazy stories and dreams and just like all kinds of like fantasy. I feel like you have like a
superpower. This is like I can't even imagine what this is like. It's fun. It's. It's fun.
But it's only fun for now because nobody knows about it.
I feel like once people start to know and read, then I'll start getting critiques and then I'll get self-conscious about the way I write.
Then don't show it to anybody.
I probably won't.
I feel like you get more out of it than, you know, if somebody, you know, if like for you, it's like, okay, this is my favorite thing.
I love it.
And then, you know, there's like some book critic that's like, it was mid.
Yeah.
I'm like, no, was it?
Right.
Yeah.
Maybe one day, maybe one day, I will like share it.
But for now, I'm just like enjoying just writing all the crazy things that are going on in my head.
Wow.
That's, I'm really like, I'm blown away.
Like, really, that's incredible.
Yeah.
People are usually like, you wrote a book?
I'm like, yeah, but it's like, no.
Like, no, you can't read it.
Does the book have a name?
Yes.
I've changed the name like four times.
So let me think about what the name.
It's called Moon Child.
Moon Child.
Yes.
Yes.
Like Blood Moon.
Yeah.
But like there's no blood moons in my story.
But it's called Moon Child, yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
And you survived the Blood Moon Child.
Yeah.
Wait, actually I changed it.
Moon Child is not the most recent name.
Yeah.
The most recent name is the Obah Trials.
The Oba Trials.
The Oba Trials.
Okay.
Yes.
It's about like, think about like hunger games, but like if people have magic, like.
Yeah.
So is there like some reality TV element to it?
Because that's like the Hunger Games.
No, this is like in some like crazy fantasy world.
There's no technology or like anything like that.
But this girl is competing in like a series of trials.
Yeah.
To like prove that she's worthy enough to take the throne of like the oba.
Yeah.
And like basically dethrone this guy that's trying to kill everybody.
Yeah.
That was like you in Survivor 50.
Kind of right.
I don't know.
But hopefully, you know, my character has a better ending than I.
Yeah, well, maybe your story's not done yet.
Maybe it's not.
You know what?
I am inspired by lot of things I go through.
That's not bad.
I can do a trilogy.
Yeah, okay.
Well, Tiffany, is there anything else that you have coming up that you want to tell people to check out?
As of right now, just stay tuned for, like, more art that I have coming out.
I might decide to share a story sometime in the distant future.
Maybe a blurb, a snippet.
Maybe a little snippet.
Maybe I'll like, I've been thinking about making a substack where I actually start to share some of these stories.
Like, do people want to read that? Let me know. I don't know.
You know, Stephen's book, I feel like that there was like an excerpt that was part of, that was part of his book that he ended up like entering into like short story contests.
Oh, really?
Yeah, I think he won a prize for a part that was like an excerpt from escape before like the full book was done.
That's actually so cool.
Yeah.
Like, I just, you know, writing is just like, you should talk to it.
He really is like, uh, like he's into it.
Does he write like fantasy and stuff?
Um, he, uh, I wouldn't say fantasy is the genre that he writes, but he takes the writing like really seriously.
He's like very, very, very dedicated to it.
Okay.
I might, I might have to tap him on his shoulders.
He would love to talk about that, were you?
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right now, just stay tuned.
I'm painting.
I'm putting more art out there.
If you do want to see Survivor-inspired art,
then like, you know, text me, DM me, whatever.
Wow.
Don't text me because I don't have my number.
If you have my number, then you can text me,
but DM me, comment or something,
let me know what you guys want to see.
I'm painting again.
Well, this was so fun to get together in person and do this.
It was.
I love you, Rob.
That's so rare that we get to do this.
I know.
Well, I'll see you in D.C.
I'll be there.
I'm coming.
Okay.
All right.
Yeah.
Rob is a website.com slash events.
Yes.
You're coming to the live show?
I am.
I'll be in D.C. on the 14th.
This is incredible. Yes.
All right.
Oh, so fun.
It's going to be like, listen, mark that week off.
There's going to be some fun stuff coming up then.
We haven't announced it.
Yeah, but it's coming.
Oh, shoot.
We're doing the live show.
That's an out.
Yes, I'm coming to the live show.
On the 14th, right?
On the 14th.
Yes, I'll be there.
All right.
We've got so much stuff coming up also.
For the patrons, I'm going to do the Q&A coming up.
up on Sunday night 7 p.m. Eastern for that. I will also have for you a special. We do a show
called Club Condo, which is about all of the nonsense in the Survivor universe. We cover that on
one podcast. It's on Patreon. We also do the Big Brother version that's called The Slop with Chappelle.
It's going to be a Monday night. So join us there for that. Plus, I'll do a mailbag with
Brandon Donnell. You know Brandon Donnell.
Yeah, of course.
We're going to talk through all of the survivor mail from the fans.
Rob's website.com slash 51 mailbag and so much more stuff.
We're just getting started.
That's going to be fun.
Just getting started.
I got to tap in.
All right.
Thank you so much for joining us here for this one.
Thank you so much, Tiffany, for coming in.
This was amazing.
This was fun.
I like West Coast, Rob.
You need to come out here more often.
Okay.
I've been here a lot.
Yeah, you need to come here more.
I feel like West Coast Rob gives me different energy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right, thank you so much.
I'm ready to take care of a good one.
Bye.
