Right. For anyone wondering what we're talking about up and coming, up and coming dot series on Instagram, we are filming a pilot of a comedy TV series. It's quite funny. It's about two city planners who accidentally, really four, but a group of but two city planners in specific that stumble into success. Sure. And we're excited about it.

Moving on. Did you win your soccer games? My son won his soccer game, yes. One to zero last night. He's got another one tonight at Beck. If anybody wants to come out to Beck Middle School. You know what's fun to do it, Beck? Leave.

Not go there. Not go. Nash, my five-year-old, who actually just turned six this week, scored four goals in his soccer game. They won four to nothing. Boom. Every goal. He scored us.

seven goals and two games. Okay. And he's crushing it. That's awesome. It sounds like he's the kid that... He's about 20 pounds heavier and six inches taller than every kid out there. And he finally... And last year he cried through most of it and didn't realize how big he was or how Cape he was.

And this year he's turned it on and he realizes that he can dominate. That's awesome. It's like a switch. A coming of age story. Yes. And he's crushing some kids. So my son was the same way he went from. from regular size to like he's like six feet tall now he's 13 so I'm like dude you're

bigger like use your use your advantage so he finally figured it out so now he's yeah yeah that and the $5 I pay him per goal there you go he's very money money there you really he uh every time he scores that was my dad's style he holds up he gives he got us a five bomb my dad would give me $10 every time I got it to merit in college that's the opposite yeah I thought that was bad Yeah, but I went to Bob Jones. So, like, I got up to Mary, and he was like, oh, good for you. Oh, okay. I'm going to, my son plays goalkeeper, so maybe I'm going to offer him $10 per goal.

Oh, yeah. A 50. Probably safe. $50. And then he's going to fucking, they'll probably score somehow. Oh, my God. Pond it down the other end. 50 bucks now.

Yeah, they clear out the goal. Yeah, he just celebrates just the 50 bucks. He doesn't care about anything else. Yes. So, a good week of soccer around the Alford's and the Hamerick's houses. Radical news. And I'm in rehearsals. And him soccer for Christina, too.

Oh, yeah. I'm the only only getting paid to play. Paid to play. Paid to play. Well, except for his son's actually getting paid to play as well. That's true. That's true. That's true.

Yes, it's true. Raquel Pennington, UFC Fighter was on this week. Tuesday, I hope everyone saw that episode. She didn't beat me up, but she did talk about beating up the competition. Sure. And her journey was quite interesting. Listen back to that. Was pretty happy with that.

So like you go on a site and you can put makeup on the face and different things like that. Yeah. I'm familiar with that technology. Yes. Oh my God. They got dim sum. Anyway, so Dragon Den, we eat there all the time because my son loves it. He gets the same fucking thing every time. Which is. Chicken lo-main. Chicken lo-main. And he likes a side of white rice now for some reason. Beef romaine is the best. It's a way to go.

I mean, that would be honest. Yeah. Yeah. So they give us a tin of cookies every year. It's about this big red tin. I'll bring them in if we're still doing a podcast. And they're fucking terrible. Every single one. Chinese cookies. They're individually wrapped. They're individually wrapped. And so they're all these different kinds. Probably an almond cookie in there. They're so, it's like a prank that I do to people. I'm like, oh, here, dry this. Those Chinese desserts are no good. No good. So weird. No good. And acquired taste. I guess. I don't know what it is. Acquire it. Yeah. I do like drag it down. It's good. I hate it. I got a good story that no one will care about, but it's, you know. That's what this is about.

My mom used to do silk arrangements on the side. That was her side gig. Sure. My dad did the silk trees, you know, like a stick in the middle and they look like little miniature trees, but they're silk arrangements.

Really? He did all of those out of our garage. This is like, dating out of my childhood. We would eat in it all the time when I was a kid. Every one of the arrangements in there, my parents did. We're so connected. Yes. Oh, my God.

This is like 1987. Yeah. I wonder if there's still around in there. Probably in there. They don't die those silk arrangements. No, no, they hold up. That's a good thing. It's half Asian grocery store out.

Trends in the Metaverse. Getting to the real news here, folks. Is it back to the old? Yeah. Oh, Nick.

Was that the boeing? Yeah, yeah. Was it? Oh, I like it. It's better. It's better that way. It's more iconic. I think so. All right. These are for trends in the Metaverse that you can't miss. Metaverse, Web3, NFTs. We're lumping it all together, even though I know they're different. Crypto trading to move.

to the Metaverse, says developer-focused study. A new study shows that developers believe that the Metaverse may become the most popular way to buy and sell crypto someday. The study surveyed 300 developers, thoughts and ideas about the Metaverse. Since they will be positioned on the front lines of practically every development that takes place in a Metaverse, their thoughts and opinions ultimately carry a great deal of weight. These are important people in the Metaverse. In real life and Metaverse. Yes. The survey shows that 57% of the metaverse. Developers believe that Metaverse will someday be the most prominent way to trade crypto. But they also believe the biggest challenge will be privacy and security.

Yeah. Oh. That's the biggest challenge. It is. Across the board, really. Yeah. So we'll be using the Metaverse. We'll be going into, you know, putting our goggles on, going into the Metaverse.

Yeah. To trade. That or maybe if you're going to do it on Roblox or something, I don't know. So why, though? Because it's already pretty easy to buy crypto. This makes sense, though, because I just think of them as such. such comparable like entities

forms I don't know it's like well yeah of course it would be the most efficient way to buy cryptocurrency in the metaverse I guess it's just like the have to like let's let's use Facebook as a proxy

let's pretend Facebook becomes it's already meta sure the prediction Facebook becomes meta yeah great prediction follow me along I'm really going out on limb here

yeah great prediction yeah but it becomes a virtual world yeah you know and having to go into said world to trade crypto. And maybe there's some we're missing a step here, but like it's just like you said, let me just open a nap and buy some fucking crypto.

Howard Schultz announced in an open forum that the company is planning the NFT business before the end of the year. Starbucks has the best tools and collections to move into the new ecosystem, says Schultz. Yeah, I believe me. You did. So, you know, you want some caffeine. I want some real shit, you know? Yeah. I need some coffee.

Yeah. You know, like, I get that there could be some collectibles. There could be some VIP experiences. Some little mugs. But, like, I want some real coffee with Starbucks. I agree with you. That's the question, right? Here we go. Coca-Cola announces a new flavor from its Coca-Cola Creations department. apparently inspired by gaming. I say that because it's called zero sugar bite. B-Y-P-E. That's the new flavor. Why would it need to be zero sugar in a place with like no calories?

Well, it's an actual flavor. Oh, okay, okay. But it's launching within the Metaverse. Again, we're really connecting the dots here. Specifically, Fortnite is where it will be launching. before it appears in physical form in May. So you're going to see this on Fortnite, maybe with your avatar.

Maybe you can have a Coke. Coke Zero byte in Fortnite. The Beaver's Dispenser is working with gaming organization. PWR in the creation of PixelPoint, a custom island built in Fortnite creative. I don't know if that's my son about that. Yeah. He does Fortnite.

Those who enter PixelPoint can partake of many games that are themed or. around the soda brand that when asked about what it tastes like, the company describes it as having the flavor of pixels. So pop rocks. Right. Or like aluminum foil?

This is like the new place to get attention for your brand and everyone's kind of grabbing on, you know. Land grab. in the metaverse. Sure.

The last ever to be made in the Coup series of Lamborghini's Hollywood, Reverie. eventadors, which look like silver bullets on wheels, except they're usually red, blue, or yellow. When it's, this is way too many words. In other words, you get an NFT when you buy a, you know, half a million dollar Lamborghini and you can drive it to Mars in the Metaverse.

Chipotle's second custom experience on Roblox points to how marketers' early attempts on the Metaverse could evolve going forward to deliver value for consumers and a strong cost over with the real world. The new activation ties in game activities or real world food in a way that delivers on. some of the promise of the metaverse, which is quickly emerged as a favored digital landscape in which marketers can engage with young consumers.

This is what I was saying. By letting Roblox players roll burritos and earn in-game currency that can be turned into entree codes on the chain's digital platforms. Tripoli is bridging the divide between the real and virtual worlds and providing value to consumers.

Adidas Originals builds on previously introduced futuristic ethos for its Osworld collection with a new digital experience that allows consumers a deeper interaction with the brand. That's a lot of words. Adidas Originals, a subdivision of the broader athletic wear behemoth. That's home to collaborations with designer celebrities and more allows you to further promote self-expression and style experimentation.

Sure. It's an ethos in there somewhere. A personality-based avatar? Yes. Yes. Curious. You really. You don't call it.

It's very dungeons and dragons. Yeah. Self expression and style experimentation. Two words I love. Was that four words? I don't know. Two ideas. I get a lot of stuff from Adidas.

Moving out of trends in the metaverse. Miller Light is emphasizing its taste with new beer flavor drops. Saw that. Saw it. This is really fun. This is a choice. I like this quite a bit. Miller Light obviously always talks about how great tastes, less filling.

Hey, I remember they're really hecklingly obviously. That, we just did ourselves big time on that. Big time. Do you remember that? Great taste is fun? I know I couldn't drink back then. But they all, but they're pretty much promote that they have, you know, light beer, lower carbs.

But they actually still have beer flare, which I tend to agree they do. And that most beers taste like water. like Ultra and how dare them talk about Ultra that way. Right? I know. What's your thing? Yes. It was.

No, it's next. I still haven't tried that. But now it's taking its approach to the next level. Creating a liquid product that makes other light beers taste like Miller-like with the beer drops. Yep. I like this. This is a great idea. This is so smart.

Is it like malt or what is it? I don't know, but I just like it quite a bit as a market play and just playing up. I assume you could put them in other things too. Yes. You could.
