They're just going straight meta.
Yeah.
Which is both maybe the smartest and stupidest thing I've ever heard of.
Like, if this ends up being as big as they think it will be,
you might as well be the, I don't know, the Band-Aid of the Metaverse,
the meta of the Metaverse, the Meta-X, Xerox, Xerox, right?
Yeah, the AR stuff and the gaming and stuff, it's coming along.
But the promise of all this stuff seemed like it was a lot greater than what's become reality.
of an augmented reality.
They used for something noble, like doing like a surgery on the battlefield or something.
And now, it's time for the Radcast with Ryan Alford.
You're listening to the Radcast.
If it's radical, we cover it.
Here's your host, Ryan Alford.
Hey guys, what's up?
Welcome to another edition of the RADCAST of the RADCAST.
Rad! Redcast!
I'm joined by Joe Hamrick.
Hey, Ryan.
Good having.
Man, it's good to be here.
How are you today?
I'm ready for our weekly advertising, marketing, pop culture, bands of the week.
I wasn't that excited.
But now that you did that, I'm pretty excited.
Yeah.
I'm also excited because, you know, a certain team won the other night.
Well, who was that, Ryan?
Let it play.
Let it sink in.
The Atlanta Braves
are your 20, 21
World Series champions.
World Series champions.
Yes.
Had to get the chop in.
Yeah, of course.
Yeah.
It's a great series
for the Braves.
Yeah.
I'm not going to let culture cancel it.
You know?
Don't do it.
You know,
you're saluting the Braves
and the culture,
the history of the Braves.
It's not hate people.
It's love.
It's about love.
You know,
and I love the Braves.
It's coming from a good place.
It is coming from a good place.
Right there.
So I feel good about the,
Braves won in the World Series.
We talked about this little anti-clomatic ass kicking.
Yeah, yeah, that was not a great, not a great game six.
For the Astros, it wasn't great.
It was great for the Braves.
It was just like, I felt like the heart of the city fell to the floor when Salarra hit that home run.
It's still in the air.
Yeah.
I think it's still flying.
I think I saw it go by.
The window over there.
It just rolled into our place and then it went back in the air.
It was hit so hard.
It regenerated the flight.
I've never hit someone
seeing anyone hit the ball so hard
that was great
like we said earlier
like the moment he hit it
yeah he said he didn't even look at the ball
he's just like yep
that's gone
they showed the pitcher in his face
of just disappointment like
he knew
yeah it's over
I think the heart of the city fell
I think the heart of the
the team was gone
oh yeah
it was like okay
I think that might be it
yeah that was a momentum
switch at the very least
it was so uh
congrats to
The Atlanta Braves, your 2021.
World Series champions.
Had a good week here at the agency.
We had a podcast on Tuesday with the CMO of WebEx by Cisco.
Really?
Pretty big deal.
I use that.
Yeah.
Aruna Rivasandran.
That's the fastest I've said her name.
Okay.
Aruna Rivasandran.
That's a very cool name.
That's a very cool name.
It is a cool name and she's a cool lady.
She was an engineer and then went into marketing.
And now she's the freaking C-Nandranian.
of one of the largest companies in the U.S.
She must be pretty good.
Yeah.
Super smart.
Yeah.
Perhaps the smartest guest we've ever had and made me feel a little dumb.
Spencer, Spencer.
Smarter than Spencer?
I don't know.
Spencer is pretty smart.
Come on.
I'll just tell him you said that.
Ryan.
We'll talk about it later.
Yeah, we'll talk about it later.
And then next week, the second smartest guy I know who's actually a client.
So you can call me self-serving, but he's actually,
incredibly intelligent. We had a really interesting discussion about companies, and his name's
Barry Silverman, he's the vice president of marketing and branding at ultra fabrics. And we talked about,
you know how you've been seeing the values of the company and kind of the company's purpose become
more into the marketing realm? Sure. And how the impact that's having on employees, good, bad,
and how in the future companies are going to have to do more of the.
that because consumers aren't going to let brands kind of stay in the messy middle
without kind of taking a stand on certain principles.
Sure.
And he talked about the realities of that, the challenges of that,
and just a really smart discussion about how companies just aren't going to be able to
hide from it.
Like social issues is what we're talking about?
Yeah.
Social issues, politics.
So I can't think of one social issue right now that people are mad about.
you, everybody's on the same page, it seems like to me.
Yes.
Or not.
Not at all.
Nothing.
Literally nothing.
There's no divide at all.
Yeah, no.
Yeah.
No split down the middle.
Let's talk vaccine.
Let's talk any number of things.
In fact, let's not do that.
Let's not.
We've promised to not talk about that on the podcast.
Do we?
We just did.
Just now.
Just now.
I think that's a great idea.
We're going to do this with the vaccine.
Hold on.
We're going to let that play out.
That's how far it's going down.
And yes, it's important.
But you know what?
So are a lot of other things.
Yeah.
And we're going to talk about those.
That's dominating every news cycle, everything.
Right?
I mean...
Yeah.
I'm tired of it.
Entirely.
I'm tired of it.
I'm tired of it.
It's kind of why I stop watching the news.
Yeah.
You know, other than researching these episodes.
Right.
But it's marketing news instead of bad news.
Bad news bears.
Yep.
But in some more important news, we have some social holidays.
Okay.
Those are always very important.
They're very important.
There's a special one that's super important coming up.
And the first one, which is Saturday, which is kind of not so much a social holiday, but daylight savings ends.
Wow.
So if you're hearing this, and it's not, you know, April of 2024, which is very possible because these episodes live on in perpetuity.
Right.
They're timeless.
They are timeless.
But Saturday is...
Fall back.
Fall back.
You gain an hour of sleep.
You gain an hour of sleep.
Or you just stay up an hour later.
So how you want to look at it.
Let me...
Because I get confused about this.
Number one, that is my wife's birthday Saturday.
Happy birthday, Carrie.
November 7th.
November 7th.
It's a great day for her.
Yeah.
So...
No one else.
No.
My kids probably is.
They probably are glad that day happened.
Happy birthday, Carrie.
I don't want her.
her to hear that. Oh, okay. Sorry. Yeah. It's like
a, you're her Marilyn Monroe to
her. I mean, my singing is
pretty good. It is, well, pretty good.
It's kind of like a voice of an angel.
Yeah, a big,
did you see a unicorn?
A unicorn?
And stepbrothers, I think I was
tall unicorn.
Oh, my God. So
real quick, my question. Yes.
Does that mean it's lighter in the,
it's dark when you get up, but it's lighter
during the day?
Like it's lighter later?
No.
It's dark at like 5 o'clock.
It's the opposite.
The opposite.
Daylight savings.
And I have no idea
of the rationale
for the terminology.
But we're going to have
a lot less light at night
and more in the morning, though.
So 6.30 a.m.
It'll be nice and sunny.
Just like you want it.
Yeah.
While you hit the snooze button
for the fourth time.
It's unnecessary.
The sun's beaming through.
Beaming through.
Yeah. But you do wear that sleep mask.
I wear several, yeah.
I actually wear a hood of latex hood with a zipper on the mouth.
Plastic crap.
Yeah.
I was like, that could be dangerous.
I tie a plastic bags around my...
It hasn't, nothing bad's happening yet.
Yeah.
P.S. Disclamer, don't do that.
No, no.
Please don't do that.
All right. I'm looking forward to it being dark at 445.
But you know what?
You get to celebrate the next day with that extra sours hour of sleep.
What's that?
National cappuccino day
No shit
On Sunday
So you can have an extra glass
You get extra sleep
And two glasses of cappuccino
And you're good
Are you a cappuccino guy?
Absolutely not
Perfect
Me neither
I don't
I have
My cappuccino is known as
Red Bull
Red Bull
Sure
I don't know
I don't drink coffee
Really
No I don't either
I like it
But I prefer an energy drink
It's just quicker
To the point
Like
It's the same thing
You know
It's caffeine
What about five hour energy
Nah.
It's a lot.
It's a lot.
Yeah.
I can get messy.
Yeah.
I like to at least balance it out of it.
Look to sip.
12 ounces or 16 ounces or whatever it is.
I've had five today.
That's why I'm shaking a little bit.
You are very jittery.
I drank a bunch of chamomile tea, so I'm the opposite.
I'm just like really laid back, bro.
Yeah.
Just laid back.
I didn't.
I didn't drink the tea.
No, you didn't.
No, you didn't.
And Monday is STEM Day.
You know what STEM Day is?
science, technology, and engineering math or something?
Yes.
Ding, ding, ding.
Did I get it for real?
Yeah. Good job.
Nice work.
Nice work.
STEM Day is, and my wife's assistant principal at a middle school.
Sure.
I should know a lot about STEM.
I bet you don't.
I don't.
Perfect.
Unless the M is marketing and it's not.
It's not.
It should be.
Yeah.
Social technology.
Social media, technology, energy and marketing.
Energy and marketing.
Stem.
Copyright that real quick.
Nick, can you copyright that?
Immediately send it in the patent.
Call the patent office, please.
Perfect.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
So there's your social holidays this week.
Moving on to our key news topics.
Number one.
So important.
These are important.
Number one, we're getting meta folks.
We talked about it a couple weeks ago.
The potential name changes for Facebook.
It didn't come true.
We liked Faceplant.
They didn't go for it.
We sent that in.
It's a shame.
Zuckerberg didn't like it, signed it off.
But they're just going straight meta.
Yeah.
Which is both maybe the smartest and stupidest thing I've ever heard of.
Like, if this ends up being as big as they think it will be, you might as well be the, I don't know, the Band-Aid of the Metaverse, the meta of the Metaverse.
CleanX, Xerox.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I don't know.
There's a lot of stuff out there.
talk that it's all cover up to try to distract from the bigger issues Facebook's been having.
I could see Zuckerberg's not a suckerberg.
Hey, I like that.
Very good.
But yeah, I could see that.
Yeah, I could see it.
The, just, we've talked about this a lot.
I just, and our kids are into it.
I see there's value being put into it, but it's like, can we figure out the real world before we figure out the Metaverse?
Yeah.
You know?
Yeah.
I don't know.
What about this?
Facebook's like, we're just going to fuck up the real world as much as possible.
Now we're just going to create the meta world.
Flip it.
Yeah, like maybe we start fresh in the metaverse.
We won't fuck everything else up.
And the fact that it's called meta is it itself meta, right?
So I just figured that out.
Probably nobody else knew that.
No, it took everyone else that long.
Right.
They really, you know, wasted some money.
Somebody from Facebook's listening to this and is like, oh, shit.
He's right.
Look at that.
Yes.
So I don't know.
We'll see how it happens.
But I do think it's a good time to refrain and think about, you know, one of our good friends.
And now, it's time for the Red Pass with Ryan Alford.
Thank you, Bruce.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I mean, that's getting, you're getting mileage out of that.
That's super sweet, though.
I would too.
You know, Bruce Buffer does your intro.
I would be hard pressed not to, like you said, play it every time I walked into my house.
I know.
I think we're like six.
We haven't even released his episode yet.
And I've played that in every episode since he recorded it for us.
Sure.
And so I can't wait.
We were about two weeks away from his episode.
Really?
Yeah.
Bruce Buffer.
I look forward to that one.
I know.
Yeah.
That's a good one.
It was good.
And it's coming out soon.
folks. Keep your eye on the dial. Hey, dude, set up a Google alert for the Radcast and you'll get
alerted by Google with an email when it comes out and all our episodes for that manner.
I think that's probably everyone should do that. Not just this listening, but pass it on.
Yes, share it with people. Share it. Sharing is caring. You always say that. It is. You always say that.
I do. It is. But you're right. Teamwork makes the dream work. Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you.
So Walmart is going to be using AR and shoppable content to connect brands with consumers.
Okay, so Facebook has like filters that are like AR.
You can put like on your pictures and stuff.
Yeah.
So you're going to be able to use like they're going to use like the AR filter from Facebook to see your expression on certain products to see how excited you are about them.
The fuck.
Are you talking about?
Are you serious?
Yeah.
The future is now better.
So like while you're in the store?
No, through Facebook app.
Okay.
I was going to say like they're like, you're looking at something in the store and like, oh, and they're like capturing you real time.
No.
That's almost as bad though.
It is as bad.
Yeah.
You know, the AR stuff and the gaming and stuff, it's coming along.
But the promise of all this stuff seemed like it was a lot greater than.
what's become reality of a augmented reality you know i mean it's like right we used for something
noble like like doing like a surgery on the battlefield or something yeah right or something
something like that and here we have fucking Walmart facebook filters got scott paper towels how i'm so
excited hey oh look how look how ryan looked at those cheez-its he really loves cheeses yes he
he looked at those spicy doritos and he was drooling which actually that's true i would be yeah
yes
I'd be saying that and thinking that.
Yeah.
Hallelujah.
Like, he's really triggered by the spicy Doritos.
It's getting a little weird.
He's got a tear in his eye.
Weeping.
Weeping.
He's openly weeping.
I don't understand what's happening.
I don't know why he likes it so much.
But I do.
Yeah.
So in the world of live streaming, it's becoming huge.
And Pinterest is debuting live stream shopping.
For what's aptly named Pinterest TV.
Oh, okay. Wow.
Creative name.
I never thought long and hard at that.
Pinterest TV.
Pinterest TV.
It's funny that we have social media and social media wants to classify TV as dead.
You know, because I'm saying that, you know, that is a medium as dying.
Right.
But yet we're going to call our live streaming Pinterest TV.
Apple TV.
Right.
And what's funny now is most TV is.
place shifted anyway, which means like you don't watch it live.
Yeah, you...
It's time shifted, play shifted.
And you watch it on your time.
Right.
So it's not necessarily live anyway.
Listen, I watch TV on my time.
On my time.
Not your time.
Not your time.
That's funny.
I didn't know that term, though.
I'm going to use that.
I'm going to sound really smart later.
Yeah, play shifting.
I'm going to say that to my...
Hey, yeah, we recorded that game.
We could watch, we could play shift it.
Yeah, play shift it and time shifts it.
She's going to be like, shut up.
The notion that, you know, the consumer, it's kind of like the reason podcasts are popular is because they don't, they don't, you don't, you can consume them when you want to. Right. On demand. On demand is exactly what it is. I don't know that they would call it Pinterest on demand. You know, but I guess they think live is associated with TV still. So what, or just Pinterest live? Pentress live would be fine.
So.
Call Joe Hammerick if you'd like a better naming commission.
Yeah, just a name for here.
I'll put my number up.
Don't put my number up, Nick.
Yeah, yeah.
Just throw it up.
It's just one up.
Oh, okay.
Well, oh, that was your social security number.
Oh, shit.
Well, I got to go.
Oops.
I got to go close an account.
Get a credit profile check.
You do have credit alerts, right?
Sure, sure, sure.
I do now.
If I just got one.
Yes.
Oh, boy.
Oh, yes.
In other news, in the news of the no-shit world, the reliability and quality of news content plays a significant role in achieving brand safety on new study funds.
File that under in, under end for no shit, right?
Yeah, in this.
You think?
Yeah.
But here's what I want to know.
Who is judging the reliability and the quality of the news content?
As long as it's on Fox News, it's all true, right?
I think so.
And if it's on CNN, it's false.
Or vice versa, right?
This is not a political statement.
Using this is like the judgment call, you know?
Right.
Tucker Carlson said it, it must be true.
If Don Lemon said it, it must not be.
I mean, it's like, that's what it comes down to, right?
What sources do you believe?
Yeah.
Remember you used to be able to read, like, the newspaper or watch the news,
and honestly just be like
that's impartial reporting
I believe that
because it's what happened
and it's hard to do now
it's hard to watch anything
without like a little bit of a
hmm
that's a podcast
and I'm doing like a
you know
a weird look
which is not going to translate
but that's not going to
more of a
hmm
right
yeah that was good
that was that good
what the wall
huh
you said what
Chris Farley
We secretly replaced
You son of a bitch
You son
You did what
Yeah
That's the best ever
It is
I wish he was still around
Yeah that'd be good
You could have him on the Radcast
Yeah
That's we could
Allelujah
So
Okay
We're scrolling on now
The other Facebook news
They're gonna
They're gonna delete
facial recognition data on more than a billion users.
Okay.
How are they choosing that?
I don't know.
How many?
How many?
How many users do they have?
Oh, 300 billion, like 30 billion or something.
Not even a real number, really.
Yeah, it's a lot.
Yeah.
Okay.
And Boets carriers, it's the fact that they have it, right?
Right.
To eliminate it, you have to have it first.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I guess it's like everybody using,
you know, open your phone with your face.
They've got all that data and they've been keeping it.
But they're going to delete it for us.
I think they're going to be nice.
Thanks, Facebook.
Yeah, I trust them now.
Appreciate you.
I trust them now.
Yeah.
Oh, good.
They're worthy of my trust.
Yeah.
I'm not screaming on that.
Oh.
There we go.
I'm not sure.
Yeah.
So we're just going to talk that one up and let it let you think about that for a moment.
The fact that they've been holding on to it and that they're telling you they're going to delete it.
And if you.
believe that. I've got some ice in Iceland. Yeah. You do. It's good ice too, people. It is.
Colin, put the number up, Nick, for the ice hotline that we're... Yeah. I've also got some life water. I'm
going to sell you. I'm not going to call it death water, which seems to be really popular now.
In the can. Yeah, he's in the can. Right. Death water or whatever. It seems like it wouldn't taste good out of the can.
I mean, death usually doesn't. Ding. Ding. Not even press it. Not even pressing the button. I'm just going to verbalize it now. That's fine.
So the match group who owns Tinder and Match and all the dating profiles.
There's two married men.
We would know very little about this.
Missed out on it.
Well, I actually married my second wife with Through Match.
Did you?
Yes.
Nicole and I met on Match.
And it turned out be better than the first.
So maybe it does work.
It must at least work a little bit.
So I missed out on that whole thing.
You didn't miss much.
No.
I mean, like, it was convenient.
Sure.
You know, so I have to go to a bar or get introduced to somebody or whatever we did.
You're the most convenient wife I've ever had.
It was so convenient.
I got to shop online.
It was like shopping.
It was.
It was like e-commerce before e-commerce.
This was in 2012.
That's amazing.
But it was definitely shopping.
That's hilarious.
Shopping online.
Shopping for a wide.
A mail order.
Mail-order bride that actually lives low.
Local.
Local.
Yeah.
You didn't have to go to Russia.
Yeah.
I was going to.
I had to.
Yeah.
You got to do what you got to do.
Yeah.
They don't talk back as much over there.
Really?
I heard of the opposite.
I don't know.
But it is funny.
Like, we were in high school,
obviously,
college at the same time.
None of that existed.
And you had to go to a bar.
Yes.
Or a party or run into somebody on this,
or whatever.
Yeah.
Right.
Work at the same place is a good one now.
But now it's like,
it's like,
of how people meet.
Right.
Totally.
If you gave me a phone and said, set up a Tinder profile and then we'll do whatever match with
someone, I guess.
I'd be like, I don't know how to do that.
Yeah.
I wouldn't know how to do Tinder, but match yes.
Sure.
It's different.
It's different, though, right?
Yeah.
Match is like kind of like a social profile, but for dating.
Tinder is just like swiping, like, do you think, who you want to back?
Hot or not kind of.
It's who you want to bang essentially.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
Bang or slang.
Right.
Whatever.
Whatever.
What the teens are saying right now.
Yeah.
Whatever it is.
But anyway, so they're, uh, we didn't even get to what the news article was.
I lost the whole point of what we were talking about.
I think that was even more interesting than maybe the article.
They're doing a dating metaverse.
Of course they are.
If you hate dating in the real world, where do you try the metaverse?
Are you serious?
Oh my God.
So it's like avatars, I guess.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So it's fake dating and in a fake world.
You don't even really see what someone looks like.
either, right?
But, you know, I can make myself like a little beefier, a little hotter.
You don't need to get any beefier.
You're a beefcake right now.
Beefcake right now.
I like it.
This is taking a turn.
But, yeah, turn for the better.
But yeah, you make your avatar or anything you wanted to be.
Have a bunch of hot people in the Metaverse.
Are they calling it catfish?
Yeah.
Is that what they're calling it?
Yeah, I got catfish to the Metaverse.
Yeah.
I knew she was going to be as high as she was.
Her avatar was just a mask.
That's hilarious.
That's the most hilarious.
She really lives in the ghetto in the metaverse.
Since I've ever heard.
I got catfish in the metaverse.
Because, like, is there going to be a hierarchy in the metaverse?
Like, you're going to have, you know, rich people in the billionaire metaverse.
And you're going to have, like, people like where I live, the not in the millionaire house.
Across the meta train tracks on the, on the wrong side.
Yeah, yeah.
I hope so.
And that's how they got.
She said.
she was on this side of the tracks.
Yeah.
She really lived over there.
I got catfish.
Got catfish to the metaverse.
That's the saddest thing ever, maybe.
That would be awesome.
That would be.
I almost want to get catfish.
I want to do some prank calling in the metaverse.
Is it?
Can you?
I don't know.
I want to.
We used to do a bit of that.
Oh, yes, we did.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
All right.
We were jerky boys before there were jerky boys.
Yeah.
We were the herky jerky boys.
That was a metaverse.
Yeah.
calling Summer Maldon's mom.
You remember that?
Oh.
I remember calling a bunch of people.
And I remember saying a lot of things today would be.
Yeah, you can't say them today.
Can't say those things.
We did a lot of things.
Recorded it too.
Yeah.
Those tapes are out there somewhere.
Oh, boy.
That's scary.
That is a little scary, actually.
I'm just glad they're with smartphones.
Think about that.
That's what I'm scared.
I was like my kids growing up with smartphones.
Like, if we'd have them,
probably wouldn't have jobs right now.
No, probably not.
I mean, not because we did anything like, I don't know.
I don't think it's illegal.
It's partially.
There's a gray area.
Here's a good example.
There's nothing on the internet that I know of me coming out of a bar and falling on my face.
Yeah.
Has that happened?
Maybe.
You'll never know.
You'll never know.
Right?
Yeah.
And I want to divulge it.
Sure.
You would never tell.
I mean, no fewer than twice.
I mean.
Right.
Yeah, sure.
Theoretically.
Theoretically.
Theoretically.
In the metaverse, I got drunk and fell over.
Carjacked.
I got,
you can get all that stuff in the metaverse.
I think so.
You know, in a pleasant.
I got cirrhosis of the liver in the metaverse.
It's a shame.
Your avatar didn't make it very long.
I would not know.
I was drinking too much meta, fireball.
Meta juice.
You're stupid.
That's the dumbest thing.
We should start patenting, like, terminology in the metaverse.
That might be a good thing.
Can we do that?
I think so.
I think we just did.
Nick, get the patent office back on the phone.
Okay, thank you very much.
Patent clerk slash.
Producer.
Extraordinary.
And finally, in very important news, JZ is finally on Instagram.
Thank God.
I just, you know.
I mean, how long we've been waiting.
I'm like a double.
Yeah.
I've been waiting for that, you know?
You and I've been.
talking about for 20 years probably
yeah or 20 minutes at least yeah
20 seconds
yeah this was a hype beast article
give hype beast some credit
I do like hype beast you get a hype beast
or the shoe rankings and stuff like that
you know you know I know you're shoe hoore
shoe whore um you never wear
no I have lots of pairs of shoes I never wear
that's the yeasies that never get worn
that is correct I guess that's what you're supposed to do
I wear all my nice stuff I like you know I get some Jordans
they might I probably should not wear them
I do.
You do have some nice,
I got to get a pair of George.
I don't have one pair.
I bought my kids.
I saw some nice kicks.
Yeah.
They eat straight days.
You get some nice kicks, you know.
Yeah.
Those are nice.
Yep.
My son,
if we buy them new shoes,
then we just have to buy them
more new shoes in like a week.
It's growing so fast.
Ridiculous.
Yeah, I know.
Kind of scared of that.
Ridicrous.
But Nash is five.
So if they don't completely wear them out,
we can hand them down.
Good call.
Yes.
I could actually wear Owens.
hand me down shoes at this point.
Really?
Yeah, I think he wears a size bigger than he wears
like an 11.
Maybe there's a strategy there.
Be like, oh, oh, and don't you really like these?
Yeah.
And then I don't have to have the like pain of like wearing new shoes and getting
them dirty because that's really what it's about.
Yep.
If I put on a pair of those Yeezys and I walked out and it was raining, that's a heartbreaker.
Yes, it is.
Right.
But Jay Z's on Instagram.
Oh, shit.
Yeah.
I forgot.
I forgot already.
It's like, how many followers did he get in a day, like $5 million or something?
Who knows?
How was he not on Instagram?
I don't know.
I didn't know he wasn't.
I just saw this article and I'm like, okay.
I didn't know if there's any other celebrities that aren't on Instagram.
I don't know.
Kanye is on.
He is.
He's definitely on there.
He's got 50 million followers.
What about Pete Davidson?
He's a new Kanye.
Yeah.
As far as Kim Kardashian's concerned.
Have you heard that?
Yeah.
That's weird.
I don't know.
Are they together together?
I don't know.
It's very strange.
Friends.
They're probably just friends.
All celebrities are now just friends.
It's casual.
Just, yeah.
It's casual.
Yeah.
We're just casual.
Probably.
It's cool.
Kanye's going to beat his ass.
Speaking of things that weren't cool when we were kids.
What's that?
Speaking of things that weren't cool when we were kids.
Right, right.
That exact thing.
No platonic.
Anything.
Nope.
It's a waste of time.
Any other good news from you this week?
No, man.
In your world, any good.
I think I told you where I'm going to Vegas.
Oh, yeah.
Nice.
So I was saying the cosmopol.
on your recommendation.
So is there's a sneaker boutique in there?
Yes, there is.
Did you go into it?
Yes.
It's pretty cool.
It's cool.
What do they have?
Is it stuff that's like way like Gucci and like a little bit of both?
Okay.
There's some stuff in there.
It's a pro tool.
Pricing is approach?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Are we talking about so there's some Jordan's?
Yeah.
Yeah, Jordan's Yeasys.
Really?
Yeah.
Maybe I'll buy a pair of Yeasies there and it won't be an investment because I already paid too much for them and then I can wear them.
Yep.
There you go.
That's how it works.
You get like, what's like a famous celebrity from Vegas that you get to sign?
I guess the Vegas football teams here now.
Sigrid and Roy.
Yeah, Siegfried and Roy.
One of them's dead.
Or Hunter Renfra.
He plays for the Las Vegas Raiders.
He does.
He does.
I have him on my bench on my fantasy team.
How's he doing?
He's on the bench.
Have a good year?
Yeah, I think so.
For him, he's having a great year.
He's not going to get all the targets.
He's not going to get 2,000 yards.
Yeah, he goes over the middle a lot.
Yep.
Love that guy.
I know.
So good.
He does some.
ads that are not so great those are not good i just have him like in the background or something
catching a football yeah catching a football like going deep like you know yeah stock it deeper sell it cheaper
and he's that's going deeper you don't have john daly on ads like shooting a basketball then there's a
reason for that yeah right we're talking about it no he'd have a cigarette his hand yeah like who knows what
else beer definitely yeah yeah yeah something else yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
If you know what I'm saying.
Potentially.
Just in the metaverse, though.
He is the metaverse.
He is a metaverse in and of himself.
Unto himself, yeah.
Cool, man.
We'll appreciate it.
It's been a good episode.
Yeah, it's fun.
