Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Robert Kelly's, you know what, dude, on the riotcast network, riotcast.com. Hey, what's going on? You know what, dude, fans? This is, I know you want to go right to the video, but that's not going to happen. So I've asked you help before and I'm asking for it again. I've asked for it with GoFundMe, for people's medical bills and Christmas time for the children's hospital and the toy drives.
Starting point is 00:00:26 And you guys have always come through. You're the most generous fans I know. You're unbelievable. And I thank you for that. But I need you to help me once again. My sister, Lisa, has kidney disease. She's had it most of her life. Around 20 years ago, she got a kidney transplant and it saved her life.
Starting point is 00:00:48 But those organs only last for around 16 years. In 2016, that kidney started to fail. And she had to go back on dialysis four times a week. That's where they suck all their blood out, filter it and put it back in her body. It takes around three hours, three to four hours. They have to stick it. It's just, it's awful. She can't go anywhere because she has to be on dialysis.
Starting point is 00:01:12 A flu could take her out. Her immune system is so low that she has to just survive. And there's no way to live. And you can help. If you could go to leaseskidney.com and just read about it. And then maybe click on the link and if you might be able to fill out the form and see if you could be a donor, that would be great.
Starting point is 00:01:34 I know it's huge. Do you wanna give me a kidney? Cause I like your podcast. No, I get it. If you don't wanna do it, I get it. I understand. But if you could, there's thousands of people that listen to this podcast, there's thousands of people on my social media, there's thousands of people that have seen me over the years and like my comedy.
Starting point is 00:01:55 So maybe just one of you could do it. That would save my sister's life. So please, if you just even passed this on, if you push 15 seconds, I get it. I understand. If you already saw this commercial I put in front of you, I'm not doing okay. You know, I get it. Move on, go to the show, enjoy yourself. But if you can, please again, leasescanneed.com. Go there, fill it out, see if you can be a donor or pass it on. I really appreciate you taking the time to listen to this. And maybe one of you can help my sister live a healthy, happy life. And that's it.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Thanks. Welcome to the funniest podcast on the planet Earth. This is going to be a claustrophic. This podcast has no rules. Welcome to the Mike Asshole. You never talk about my mother. Yeah, there's I can do it. I thought his was gonna be the biggest actually. That's well, that was hurtful.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Haha. Anyways, there's that laugh that we all know and hate. Uh, anyways. So we got a great show tonight. I just want to get into it. It's Chris Scopo, levity live this weekend. Uh, I'll be honest with you, I was shocked. I was shocked. Pleasantly surprised. I might did great. And Scopo,
Starting point is 00:07:56 fucking, I would have to say killed. And I've never seen him do that. That's amazing. that's amazing. He had a great, he really, I mean, I mean, I don't know who wrote his jokes, maybe his roommate. No, he did great this week in Christophe. What a great show. No stress. Everybody did their job. The crowds were fucking phenomenal. A lot of fans came out. It's unfuckin believable. Great club. The people were great. Made instead. Dawn came out Friday.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Thursday and Friday, we got a little nice babysitter. Yes. A really cool girl. Finally, we got a great babysitter. And she's moving. My socks are so bad. I'm trying to get laid. I just want to get my dick sucked in the parking lot of the fucking holiday and expression.
Starting point is 00:08:43 And I can't do it because my babysitter's leave. Anyways, I'll keep jerking off until the shower until we get into babysitter. But yeah, it was a great weekend. Leverty life. Thank you for coming out to Leverty live. And thanks to the club and you guys did great. You really did. I was shocked because I thought somebody was going to take a hot one in front of me, you know, but no, yeah this week we're at the common this is a makeup gig from my father passed away. That was I literally showed up at the gig and I got a text message you have to come home and I didn't know what to do. I don't know if anybody's been in that situation I know I know what I did with you know now, but I the guy I called the guy go listen my father is It's gonna he's gonna go.
Starting point is 00:09:27 I just got a phone call and I was just sitting in the chair. I literally just got off the, off the plane into the hotel, I'm sat down, looked at my phone and it was that call that you're dreading when somebody's sick. I hear a thing. It's an air conditioner. I hate you.

That's the reschedule, because the club fucked up and double booked me with the band, it's the theater, they're the rock club. So the helium stepped in. So get your tickets. If you're an Indianapolis, I mean, spread the word,
Starting point is 00:11:01 because tickets are, I mean, I don't know, they, it was going good. And now the new helium, it's not fucking going good. So I don't know what the fuck's happening. Starting point is 00:22:53 You're mixing out your head and things. Yeah. No, and Amy, no, John. They're a period. Oh, I did an audition today for who? Listen, Judd. No, listen. And I'm just a problem with the auditions. I talked about audition today. Listen, Judd. No, listen. I'm just a problem with the auditions.
Starting point is 00:23:08 I talked about this and you're acting involved. I had great choice, a really good choice of what I did, but I did it too fast. You know what I mean? What do you mean? Tell me. Well, like, I kind of like, the line, the other person was saying to me, I kind of cut them off to get to my, to start ad libbing.
Starting point is 00:23:31 But I brought in stuff that nobody brought in. Right, what I got, like a hat. No, I didn't wear my hat during your audition. They told me, they said, I said, I don't know hat and they said no hat, so I didn't know hat. But I say no hat too. I say no hat how, but I say no had to, huh? I say no had to do you say no hat? If you're asking me, okay, I'm not.
Starting point is 00:23:51 But it was a smile. I say, no. So I like that. You miss that. What exactly? He said, he said no, Vos. Oh, look, he's getting now. He's got to come back.
Starting point is 00:24:01 He's taking seriously. What is it? It was a thing that was funny. What is it? I was a funny. Why is it when he says a joke and serious? When you trash everybody, it's fucking brilliant. Well, this. Oh, wait, what are you? Thank you for the compliment.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Let's give them all the talk to him here. All right. Now you get them a lot of hands. So, so, yeah, you know, the choice was right. Right. Just did a little too fast. What movie was it for? Was it for the movie? I think it is.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Yeah. Oh, really? So they're both going to see it. And they go, yeah, here's that movie, that movie that everybody's in, except for Bob fucking Callie. What do you mean? Well, first of all, I, you only come and take an act. First of all, I had to come in and audition for like two lines.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Just give me the fucking part. I mean, how fucking hard is that? Why can't I do that? Because they got it, because it might be for something else. They might be bringing you in for this to see if you can act because they want to give you a bigger part. You don't know what could have happened. Well, you don't know, cause that does happen all the time.
Starting point is 00:25:04 You don't know what their, you don't know what their motives are when they bring you in. They might be just seeing the candy handle, they're shit and they might want to see your choices or whatever. You know what I mean? So when you improv and stuff, you know, if you have the audition, you know, you know, the difference between auditioning and being on a scene, this is what I'm getting sick of though. What?
Starting point is 00:25:22 And I'm going to have to, I'm going to have to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm getting sick of though. What? I'm gonna have to, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I, if I just do that, then it will snap me out of my rage. Okay. And it works. Oh, then we have to do that. It's a merch already. That was something else to sell. Yeah, I'm a hack middleer.
Starting point is 00:25:51 Yeah. I got it in some middle. I'm a hack middleer. Well, tell me what you're sick of in middle-ish. What do you say, I'm a hack, because you're a good actor. You're a good actor. What I'm sick of, you're a good actor.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Why are you doing your audition now? I'm a compliment. No, you're a good actor. Keep stepping on my lines. Oh, okay, go ahead, I'm sick of why you why are you doing your audition now? I'm a compliment. No, you're gonna be stepping on my lines Oh, okay, go ahead. I'm sorry. Why is your bottom lip so wet? I'm playing Dan Aderman No, it's every fucking comic every single comic I talked to you right now. I just got I got a partner I'm doing this I got the audition audition. And it's like, you mother fuckers. Are you done so much stuff? What do you can? All the people I've done stuff for them and taken out of the business. Jesus Christ. I'm downstairs with Vanessa, good friend of mine who was one of the right up again. I got it. He was one of the
Starting point is 00:26:39 writers for crashing. Okay. You did that show. I was a fucking Pillar at Boston Comedy Club. I never did that show. And you know, you were there. We did every row show. I was a fucking pillar at Boston comedy club. I never did that show and you know you were there We did every roast there. I worked there for years I never got used of a pillar What do you say? I'm not a pinnacle. You like to support me? You're not a you weren't a pillar.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Yes, you boss. Yes, we never thought of you as a pillar. No, we didn't think of you at all, but I was just okay. So when you're thinking, you were a fucking pillar. Oh, should every roast there. There was three. There was three. Four. A name of a woman named him. I just said that.
Starting point is 00:27:17 That's the sentence I said, name him. Yes. I didn't name him right now. Name him right now. Okay, you want me to name him? He'll do it. He'll do it. I love the old name.
Starting point is 00:27:27 I didn't host all four. What was the four roast Barry catch one? Norton roast. Sue, there was no Norton roast. Yes. What Norton roast? Okay, good. Do you want to know what roast I posted?
Starting point is 00:27:40 No, sir. Go ahead. You want to bet? I'll bet. Okay, go ahead. I hosted it. All right. Go ahead. Two. Patrice. Three. Me. I got roasted there. That's four. I don't think Norton was roasted there. I know it was a fact. I was not up. I was a ho. He's not going to answer unless I call. Hey, daddy. I'm tired. I was just looking up. All right. What happened? He got roasted. You were never a color. You're not a pillar. I am a pillar. Boba you would we never know ever call me
Starting point is 00:28:06 Bubba, it's like me calling you slinky. Don't call me Bubba. Bubba is a term of endearment for Jewish people. Yeah, for who? Jewish people. Oh, it isn't. Yeah, it is. That's Bubba, isn't it? No, Bubba. Bubba. You call me Bubba. That's a German German. Well, black people out. Well, down to what are you fucking politically correct now? You can't say black people. No, I, I may call it friends I have. You go too far. I mean, you can't go to the edge.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Listen, listen, quit holding onto the mic. I can't help. I was molested by a mic. My name was not me though. Not me. He really wants not me. No, not me. He really wants to talk. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:28:49 I said the joke, but there's, yeah, let's bring us a momentum to a halt. Go ahead. Take care. And it's fucking gorgeous face. You have a girlfriend. Why? He's a wife. You're married.
Starting point is 00:29:00 Yeah. Well, Bush my butt. Well, that's a horse. How many different gear? You do that impression every time. Oh, my God. Well, that's a horse. How about you, Cleary? You do that impression every time I'm on. Oh, my God. It really does.
Starting point is 00:29:09 You have kids. And then I want to just go, we are the only bump guy I ever see the same thing. And how long have you been married? Three years. Are we doing crowd work? What is she doing? No.
Starting point is 00:29:18 No. No. No, because I've never had a crowd this big. Oh, self-debricated. Yeah, I like that. We like it. Now we can't attack you-debicate. Yeah, I like that. We like it. Now we can't attack you. I feel bad.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Now there it is. What does your wife do? She works like three blocks away. I didn't why you? That's, oh, what did she do? I didn't ask where. She's like a, I thought it was cool. That's fun. It was fun.
Starting point is 00:29:43 Not for me, but I guess you know that was fun. I, never made. Yeah, I know that was fun. Yeah. I was downstairs. Fuckin' me and Liz is sittin' on the stoop. Gabby pulls up with, she has three trays of drinks and we're just staring at her. And then we're doing rock paper scissors to see to get it. And then this fucking, ugh, fucking, just this asshole girl and her just comes up, looks like you need help and helps her. Cause she sees us not opening it. she has this asshole girl and her just comes up,
Starting point is 00:30:05 looks like you need help and helps her because she sees us not opening it. And it's like, I go, she helps, she opens the door, even Gabby was annoyed. I was like, I'm trying to get on the Instagram. It's just fun. And then I go, hey, next time don't ruin our fun, mine your business.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Who works the girl? I did. Vanessa. Some girl. Vanessa, hey. That was like when you did the, when you called that, when you booked Caesar, Caesar, it isn't like, see what like dressing. Nothing. But I was like, when we were sitting on the stoop, chewing the other sketch and that woman walked by, I was like, ah, comics yourself on the stoop, shooting the other sketch and that woman walked by and was like, oh, comics are so fucking annoying.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And you just went, shada. She was, she was, what'd you say? And it's in the script. Yeah. She goes, no, it fucking wasn't. Wait, what, what? Is it the worst though that pedestrian? Yeah, just walk by the cell.
Starting point is 00:31:02 No, no, no. She was with David Tell. We were trying to film something off Friday. It was late. And we kept, I mean, the Tuesday before we came out after the park. There was, I mean, dead signs, not one person like being in the desert. We're like, this is great. This time next week, we'll do it. We come out that way. There was literally a homeless guy lying on the ground next to the seller. and he would wait for us to talk and then start playing a guitar on a little mini song, just like a random collection of strings. And then we would say we would stop talking.
Starting point is 00:31:35 He would stop. We start talking. We had to give him money. I go, yo, man, can you move? He goes, nah, man, this is a man. I go, here's 10 bucks. All right, man, thank you very much. Give 10.
Starting point is 00:31:43 I give 10 to get the fuck out of it. Oh, you started five. Yeah, but five might be a slow. All right, I'll get my things, you know? Five, are you kidding me? Yes, I had $5 in years. And then, and then, and then the, the Dave was out front talking to all these girls,
Starting point is 00:32:01 these women. Just cleaning up. No, it was, they were probably in the industry or whatever. We were like, Dave, could you, and Dave was really cool about it. But then I was like, Dave, could you? Cause they were just, you know, these girls who talk too loud.
Starting point is 00:32:13 So anyways, I thought, it's like nobody needs you to talk that fucking loud. And he was like, oh, we're gonna go and then she left. They fucking hate comedians. Communion to such assholes. And I went shout out on camera by the way too. I'm gonna call all that on camera.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Can I get that? Yeah, you have the footage of it. Remember, it's on that memory card. Don't threaten me. I mean, what is a threat? What are you a new production company, you two? Well, we're fucking doing stuff. Whatever we did, Gabby's doing stuff.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Mike's part of it. Oh, oh, yeah. I want to get you to do my show. What is it? Social media? Yeah. I listen, yeah, we filmed something today. We filmed the pizza.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Can we talk? Yeah. Yeah, can you talk off the fucking air? This is your problem. I have a lot of them. This is why I don't want you on the show anymore. The radio show, I'm gonna call Jack. I'm gonna say, I don't wanna fucking do it.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Oh, I'm gonna tell you. Yeah, you can do it. Oh, really? I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna say I don't want to fucking do it. Oh, I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell you what I fucking know because I do know something. It'd be in a black girl's top. I can't help it. I feel black on top. Jesus Christ, I'm feeling a minute.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Stop. Stop having fucking sidecom. You're right. That's a good point. If you don't want to be on the podcast, I love it. Don't check your watch every fucking. I like my therapist.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Am I? Yeah, fall asleep and check in his watch every fucking eight seconds. Why do you go to this entire person? Everybody goes to, Hey, first of all, I was the first one to go. Really? Yes. I heard that guys.
Starting point is 00:33:38 What did you, what did you say? Me. From the 20s. What are you doing? Hey, Joe, my cannon joins the program. I don't even know what the fuck anybody's talking about. You're, gentlemen, my cannon joins the program. I don't know what the fuck anybody's talking about. You're gonna yell at every fucking man in America.
Starting point is 00:33:49 You're gonna get a shitty ass head in there. I'm not yelling at anybody. You know what I mean? And you're yelling at it. I'm not yelling at you. I'm fucked, I'm fucked. I'm not yelling at you. That's a thing you're gonna have to find out about.
Starting point is 00:33:58 You don't feel weird. I'm excited to find out about everything, to be honest. What? Nothing. It's therapy. Anything helps, everything helps. First of all, I went to him. Dustin Schaeffin was the first guy to go to him years ago. I'm talking over 10 years ago, before the hat.
Starting point is 00:34:16 No, right around the hat. Right. When he said, how about that? And he, I went to this guy. And then when I went and I started to change my shit, then that people, Hey, what are you doing? And I was like, I go, and then people started going to him. What do you mean, okay?
Starting point is 00:34:31 You mean you're out of tune? Yeah, this is well adjusted, Bobby. Bobby is well adjusted. And I call Bobby. I was a death stare burp. That's like, he's like, he's like, yeah, yes. Our bar, guard, guard, guard, guard. I call Bobby. I was a death stare burp. That's like, when I call Bobby, I guess our guard, guard guard, guard guard. I call for advice. He's got good advice, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Bobby, Bobby's got it together when it comes to real stuff. Here's the deal. I'm from fucking Boston. This is the way we talk to each other. I can't help it. If I move to a city with a bunch of fucking use,
Starting point is 00:35:01 where you guys are like, Shoes, what's wrong with that? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:08 That's not like a Mexican culture. That's not like a Mexican culture. Heels. No, I mean. Oh, fuck. Jesus. What do you, what do you,
Starting point is 00:35:16 my biggest woman from Minnesota? Oh, I'm getting started on that. Yeah, I know. You throw me under the bus again. No, I just thought you were under the bus. You went in that week and fucking said, Bob Kelly got me all wound up. I just said in Gary. I didn't say to no choice. I said to Keith. Who'd you say to?
Starting point is 00:35:32 Keith on the phone. You know, Jimmy? You didn't say to them. No, I would never. That was a good way to try and trick him into admitting that. No, that was a fun. No, I said to Keith on the phone. The Keith called me yawning, clapping. I go, fucking Bobby got me wound in. I didn't get you wound up. No, if you keep calling me yawning, and clapping, I go, fucking Bobby got me wowed in. I didn't get you wind up. You got me wound up. Why not, we talked for like two hours. We're both driving home from far away.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Yeah. Wait a minute. You missed the most troubling button on your shirt. Can you please? Get that one. Just downstairs. Staring down the abyss of your belly button. It's awful.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Thank you. I was waiting for him to finger my belly button. Yeah. You know, long fingers. Thank you. I was waiting for him to finger my belly button. You know, long fingers. Thank you, in the cock block. Fair enough. You're right, I spoke out of turn. Jesus. Yeah, so anyways.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Well anyhow, so you were the first to go see this guy. Yeah, it was the first one. And then everybody, and then people followed. did you stop, like, have you gone there nonstop for over 10 years? Nonstop for over 10 years. Over 10 years. Once a week, once a week, because I need a place to go for me. This is my thing.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Yeah. Where I can be 100% on this with somebody who's neutral in my life, who, if I go to you, that's not neutral. You could go to Keith and, and you my life. Who, if I go to you, that's not neutral. You could go to Keith and you could go to Colin or if I go to, now I would never have you said it's confidential. I'm serious. You're lying. No, I would never.
Starting point is 00:36:54 I'll tell you why you're lying. Because I'm married. No, that's why you dumb. Because I'm a Jew bag. No, it's pronounced you bag. Yes. Why would you, I have some. I'm sure you're lying.
Starting point is 00:37:02 No, I would never. I'll tell you why you're lying. Because I'm married. No, that's why you dumb. Because I'm a Jew bag. No, it's pronounced you bag. Yes. Why? Why would you? I have so much to see. You can't even my wife.
Starting point is 00:37:12 I love my wife, but you can't. I can't talk to the shirt. The bias. The suit. But it's just not. He has no. He has nothing in the game. He's getting nose nobody.
Starting point is 00:37:22 He's not going to talk. He knows everybody. That's a problem with that. He knows everything from open micers to people that are moving his I think it's better for me because what he knows so much about what's really happening. He'd be like, maybe you do have something to worry about. You know, maybe, maybe you do, but maybe you shouldn't. He's he told me a couple couple weeks ago. This is why I love him. He goes, uh, why don't you just be fat? And I went what he goes just be fat. You need to enjoy your life. You need to stop trying to be a thin guy and stop trying to be back what you were with in shape and because people fucking call you fat and people make funny
Starting point is 00:38:00 You blah blah blah. He goes just be he goes just be happy with the butter. Come to the fucking asshole. Hey, you know, it's just two hour away. Just enjoy your life these next three years. Just enjoy them to the fullest. I am Lambda Lake stock. No, I get what you say. Mike Derpish when I went to a down next three years. Mike Derp, I used to tell him stuff that I couldn't tell anybody. You know what I mean? Yeah, that was that's what therapy is. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. And it's just a neutral place. When I can, what's the step is that when you just clean house? Nine. Is it nine? No, it's not nine. I was gonna say. I probably ask God to remove
Starting point is 00:38:44 what step is that? I should know this. Show shit. I have to be real. I've been, I've been, I've been going to AA with my dad since I was four. So I know all of it. Sounds like a fun relationship. No, it's actually the worst.
Starting point is 00:38:56 We don't have time. So I'm gonna make the coffee for me. Yeah. I actually have a, I have an issue with, with that therapist that I'll get a book. Step 10, step 10, go to step 10. No, step 10. Make a man. Go to step 10, please. And make an amends. No, what is it? Go back to where you were, Baba. So I don't want to read it. Step 10 is making a step 10. Continually take personal inventory. And we're wrong, promptly admit it.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Yeah, man. Yeah, that's 10. So 10. So when I go to him, I fucking admit all my wrongs. I don't fucking really try to admit everybody else is wrong. I say, this is what I did. This is what I did. How and why I did it when you get,
Starting point is 00:39:37 and then I kind of, it allows me to forgive myself. And if I'm trying to move on, I can move on. I can start with a clean slate. It's like secular confession. I don't know what secular means. Non-religious. Thanks. Yeah. I thought that would be non-s.
Starting point is 00:39:49 I thought secular was really it is. I just kind of wish. I wish I had that. It's non-s secular. I was. I knew that was going to. I knew Voss just glazed over. So I knew I got it over.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Can I tell you my story about that guy? I'm not going to say his name or whatever, but Everybody on the planet seems to go to this therapist and there's the people I guess look at you watch again and you just go No, it's quick. I'm fine. I got two of the youngest Look and funniest guns in here right now. Wow the next the next mother fuckers are right here I'm gonna go with one of them We're interchangeable. No, you're not.
Starting point is 00:40:28 The one has great hair. He looks 20. I get complimented by everybody on my looks and appearance other than you. You have a real shine to me for some. I don't know what it is, and frankly, I won't stand for it. What is that? Just be fat, Bobby. He said you have a body.
Starting point is 00:40:44 I told him. Listen. You're not good looking. I would beg to differ. My wife, my wife, her resume has a speech for itself. Does my wife, your resume? I'll put it out. I can't wait till you get on a sitcom and I fucking rear of that one. I said way worse.
Starting point is 00:41:00 First of all, settle down because you're bugging me when you fucking attitude. You fucking out it to it. You fucking, I'll fuck it up. Yeah, shut up, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking,
Starting point is 00:41:11 I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking,
Starting point is 00:41:19 I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I'm fucking, I and I'll tell you why I'm not even comparing it You did you say you're very similar. No, I'm not interchangeable white men named Mike No, you're not you're like a dirty janitor. He's a star of a show
Starting point is 00:41:35 No, look at his he's like he's a dirty janitor on a show If there's a way I could keep the compliments to me, but not him put down that would be ideal That's funny. What you learn that? What funny class did you take in that? Hey, could you not hurt my friends feelings, but fucking. This is all. You know what I take it back?
Starting point is 00:41:52 Oh no, you see this is not a start of the game. He's funny on maybe like a save by the bell. He's not a fucking new class. Everybody loves that bell. He's not a fucking lead character. Just because he's got a... He's got a wasp fucking Connecticut. me. He's got a wasp. Fucking Connecticut. Look.
Starting point is 00:42:07 He's got a beauty's dick van Dyke of the 2000s. First of all, you're out of your mind. We were both born in the wrong decade. Like, had we had we been born? You're not in the same ballpark as him physically. Okay. I mean, you're like you're so out of your mind.
Starting point is 00:42:22 How am I saying? Do you understand the work that I got and strictly based on my experience? Yeah, he looks like he's the mask in white face. By your appearance? Why are you so working out? When you get to tree house? What?
Starting point is 00:42:34 From your appearance? Well, I'm actually the guy who wouldn't buy it. Hey, you're pretty sure, right? I get booked to the tree house. Pretty sure, you're the guy who's the guy. Yeah, of course I'm pretty mature, gay. No, not gay, gray. Right. Like, listen, you're an all right looking guy,
Starting point is 00:42:46 but you're not Mike Feeney status. I, I, I, I'm not a blow away. I'm blown away. It, it doesn't anymore. And you, I'm shirtless. You have such shirtless tough, you have a hair negativity towards me. And I don't know what it is. I'm a, I'm a, you feel like you keep my, I know me and Rich get along very well,
Starting point is 00:43:02 but you feel like you need to keep my vibration down low Time you're serious now. I just think your upper torso is not good You're getting you're getting really mad I might be only as one coffee a day Your nipples are too far down. They're hair. They're a hair down. Take your shirt off. Show everybody.
Starting point is 00:43:29 No, there you go. I just ate had I been sucked out in the morning. I would have died. I sent him you. I sent you a picture. I look great and I picked you up. You're hit. Listen to me.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Your nipples are just a inch too far down. Yeah. An inch, an inch is way too much real estate. I would say maybe like a dab. He looks like a face. Fucking like when you look at his, not everybody. Your torso must look like a mongoloid. That's just me. I'm not being sure. I mean that picture every time. It shows the karate kick picture every time. Every time I've ever been with him. How could you not have seen this? He's got to hike.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Are you in the white? No, he's not. I'm black. I'm getting out of my eye. I can see. I've seen that photo 35 times. It's a great picture. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:44:17 I'm sorry, Mike. I know you get angry really, but I think Mike Fini is just a better looking guy. And probably has a little more talent. That's a, we don't have to, wow, you have a six pack. I'm just glad that you have nothing to do with the industry. I do. I do. I have to, I do have something to do with the industry. And I, I, I wanted to cast you on something, but we couldn't because of your busyness. You know, it was a lifeguard. What? It was a lifeguard thing, but you're shirt when I saw you in a room. I was like, we can't do it.
Starting point is 00:44:52 We had to re-gast it with Mike Feeney. Mikey, welcome to the show. I actually was a lifeguard. So that was a good thing. Cool. He's got a cute face, but he has no body. You know, listen, he's got a good body. He has a very sinny, he's very kind of lean and, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:11 And he's slant. He looks amazing on camera. It looks great on camera. You got the power. You don't. It's just something you can't tell me I don't. Mike, I've seen you. You haven't seen it on camera.
Starting point is 00:45:22 We're having a four conversation. He's way, he's, what? Stop having side conversations.'re having a more conversation. He's way. Voss, stop having side conversations. I just saw one conversation. No, it isn't. I'm talking to him. I'm the host. You are the guest.
Starting point is 00:45:33 You don't just yet to him. I was it was my boss. Shut up. You said he was a lifeguard. Gabby said you were shut up. I said, do you work out? You said he could be a lifeguard. Gabby said you were shut up. I said, do you work out? He's you said he could be a lifeguard. We were having a conversation together so you don't realize. And then you said he has a great body and I go, do you work out?
Starting point is 00:45:52 So that it wasn't having a side conversation. I think Mike. Truly, I don't know who's exactly what a side conversation. Who's Mike's getting sad because I think Mike Fini has a bet. I'm sorry. No, he has a better body. Okay, that's all I'm saying. I'm even arguing. That's all I'm saying. But you can't, no, that's not what you said. You said I'm objectively unattractive. Exactly. I will call you unconventionally. I did the first time I've ever heard that. I would say I would say unconventionally attractive. Question. I would say unconventionally attractive. Question. Who do you think would be better
Starting point is 00:46:27 voice over so listen to his voice and his voice. Let me say I've never booked anything for voice over. So I'll do mine. I think that's the way that was right in Gabby space. My favorite moment of my life. You didn't even try to get it near the microphone. My favorite moment of my life I'm sorry. I didn't mean to join it. I knew I would join the team. In 2019, his career is done. That's it.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Don't worry. Guys, welcome to the premiere of Women on Funny Jew. Yeah. What do you say when your husband did this poor young girl? I think I meant it. You should have started crying. I meant it to my sorry. Oh, she's crying.
Starting point is 00:47:20 Don't tell your dad. Shut up. Um, anyways. So I was going to this therapist. So I'll mic story. Let's go to let's go to gorgeous Mike. Stop. Let's go to good Mike story. The don't say good.
Starting point is 00:47:34 I go to making this very first choice. We're going to first choice. First choice Mike. Go to that go to magic Mike first. Yeah, I like that. I like it. Mike and I second. I like that. I like that. I like it. Mike and I second.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Mike and I. Oh, I have no idea the last episode of Irish Goodbye was on the video. Yeah, that's the point you're breaking up our podcast. Perfect, perfect Mike go. No. Well, I'll give you a story when I wasn't perfect, I was going to go to this therapist that everybody goes to. And I might have been talking to me,
Starting point is 00:48:07 my other friends have been talking to me, they're like, I've never done therapy. I'm pro therapy, but I've never gone. And a bunch of other people have been like, you gotta, you ought to go, you should go, at least just to talk to somebody. So I got up on my money where I'm out there. So finally, after years of Irish holding this down.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Is that put in a cocktail? Yes, that's the only way we can start. Go ahead. And so I, Who do you think fucks better? Mike, you're out of your cocky mind. Okay, if you look at him for one second and think
Starting point is 00:48:34 why are you so aggressive? What's the way you're out of your mind? Say, I'd rock, I'd rock, I'd rock. I'm also angry. What do you think fucks better? Yeah,
Starting point is 00:48:43 that's so You're both married. So you're getting angry. I think that Mike would, if Mike would actually fuck better, because he wouldn't fuck. He'd probably make love to his wife. You know, yeah, but for anybody, for, no, that's your crazy. You said fuck. You said fuck.
Starting point is 00:49:01 I've hung on to the same woman for years. You think I just straight drill? No, I never set fire. I never set fire. I don't even look at her. You used to soft. Yeah, but that's for her benefit. You used the word fuck.
Starting point is 00:49:17 I didn't use the word fuck. I'm using your word, but I'm trying to be edgy, right? I don't know where you're trying to be. I just ask you question. And I answered it. I think Mike would be a better lover. So I'm feeling so I'm feeling I would take care of the perspective on this whole thing. I want to hear shit. My love of Mark's getting really aided. Here's to perspective. That's why he's not perfect. You don't get mad. I'll tell you how there's one way to make me mad
Starting point is 00:49:38 is to consistently tell me how mad I'm going to tell you how mad I'm going to. Hey Mike, hey Mike, calm down. Yeah, wow, it worked. Hey, relax. Um, great. And it's like it's so funny with comics. Mainly female comics, because you see them all, a lot of them on album covers, half naked, or on Instagram, whatever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:03 In this, on this podcast podcast with who's on this podcast and who you could go, I don't give a fuck, I'm funnier than him, that's the argument. If someone says you're not funny, then you argue. When they say you're not good looking, who gives a fuck? But he's my girlfriend. I think he's very funny and attractive.
Starting point is 00:50:21 I'm just sticking up for myself in a very dig my heels and wigs. I thought that was entertaining. I think you're you're funnier than Mike. Oh, Jesus Christ. I mean, let's not. Yeah, like you're tearing this podcast apart. As a matter of fact, up we're against Five we're gonna come to riot We had conversations with Rob he's talking about moving away from you Yeah, big company so I felt a gas digital So I felt vulnerable I thoughtest digital. Yeah. No, that's not big. So I felt vulnerable. I thought I'd go to a therapist and I finally,
Starting point is 00:51:11 I finally got up to courage to email the guy that you go to that everybody's like, this is the best. If you're going to see somebody see this guy, I send this guy the email, I put myself out there, put my heart on my sleeve, he rides back. Yeah, I think I'm booked up for a while. I don't, I'm not going to really take any new people. I got me only, I'm the only comic in New York City
Starting point is 00:51:29 who got rejected by him. That's my credit. He also included a tape. I think that's one. Yeah. No, you're against it. Hold it. I'm turning on everything.
Starting point is 00:51:38 What did you send him a picture of your body? I did not. Should I have? Yeah, you shouldn't have done that. Here's the thing. That story could have been done in 30 fucking seconds, not drawn out. It was like, you know what? You just went down one point. You went from a nine to an eight. Okay. He's still at a six. Well, you guys were in the
Starting point is 00:51:56 ruptomy this whole time. I was trying to tell him one of the six who him. He, but he's he's a nine when it comes to funny. Yeah. For as long as he's been doing it. Yeah, with a shirt on. He's a six. Oh, he's a nine when it comes to funny. Yeah. For as long as he's been doing it. Yeah, we're the shirt on. He's a six. Oh, he's less with a shirt off. Have you seen it? I, I'm, I'm, I've seen it. No, I don't want, no.
Starting point is 00:52:12 I'm sorry. Mike's pupils are jet black right now. It's just a shuffle shark. It's like a shark. Yeah, he's scared shark with his chest. Oh, you might be able to get a little more. We were in a room, yes, we were in a room for, I think. Yeah, and Bobby was so attracted to me, he fucking negged me immediately and it's just hung
Starting point is 00:52:33 on to this. What's your nag, you, what is that? He's just trying to make me feel badly about myself. He's using it. He's using it. He's using it. He's using it. He's using it.
Starting point is 00:52:42 He's using it. He's using it. He's using it. He's using it. He's to uh, I nagged him. He's just in terms, I'm just being honest. There is truth in what you just said, but it's located deep under. I know what you're trying to do. I get your other thing, but it's not. I just think that Mike has a better. I've seen Mike's body. No, that's what I totally agree with you. You do look like you do have a permanent cold. ¿Pero lo lo lo ves como que hay un permanente de colo? Es como un gran alo. Me parece que es muy bueno.
Starting point is 00:53:10 Es muy bueno.
I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be.
Starting point is 00:53:44 I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be.
Starting point is 00:53:53 I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be.
Starting point is 00:54:01 I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more about the way you're going to be. I'm going to be a little bit more to six slices of pizza. Yeah. How many do you think you ate? I probably ate the same. I don't think so. I ate the same. I didn't eat it. I can eat, I know I want to eat a whole pie. I didn't eat a whole pie.
Starting point is 00:54:11 I've eaten a whole pie. I mean, I just went there and ate a pie. It's got each. A pie each. We shot, we, we've both housed a slice in 30 seconds or less. That was stupid. That was like a hunger, but that was a hunger. So I had nothing in my stomach.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Was it Joe's pizza? Yeah. Yeah, we ordered four pies and there was one last. It's good unless you fucking eat too much of it. Yeah. I really feel like greasing out of me. It's really, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:35 It was good though. I mean, but I felt like shit when I went home. I was fucking I passed out. I passed out tonight. I drank almost that whole thing of Starbucks coffee. I drank like more than half of that, because that's the only way I'm like, still going. Oh, I went home and took a little nappy poo.
Starting point is 00:54:50 That's very nice. But then I actually want to talk to you, because we were in the middle of shooting and you who brought it up, the Nick the Pollo thing. Was it you? Was that Ian? Ian brought it up. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:01 The ad, Nick the Pollo trending on Twitter. Trending trending. Number one in New York City. Number one in New York right now. Yeah, Nick Depalo trending on Twitter trending. Trending. Number one in New York City. Number one in New York right now because it's they're all going after them. Yeah, it's not a it's had a good trending put it that way, but he's also has a shit ton of views on his on the trailer. Trail is 140,000.
Starting point is 00:55:19 He's got like 89 on the actual special 89. It's going to get 4,000 YouTube followers an hour or some shit like that. YouTube buddy. Yeah, there it is special. Go to a special. I don't care about his sausages. I didn't know he moved out of state. He moved out of state. Here's a deal.
Starting point is 00:55:37 I listen to his podcast. It's on the network. Right. It's what and you know, he he moved out of state. There it is right there. Uh, um, okay. Just 84,000. I told her and you know, he moved out of state. There it is right there. Okay. Just 84,000.
Starting point is 00:55:47 If you see the front, go to the cover, please Matt. Can you just bring up the cover of Nick DePaul's special? It's on his Twitter. You just go to the cover of Nick DePaul's special. Yeah, he's he moved out of state. He'll use I'm pretty sure he's set it on his podcast. Go I can say it on Anthony. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Okay. $26,000 a year said it on his podcast. Go, I can say it on Anthony. Yeah. Okay. $26,000 a year in taxes on his house to $3,000. And he bought his house cash. Where does he move to Georgia? Yeah. So he moved and he's instantly just saving money. He's on the road. He does his show four days a week.
Starting point is 00:56:22 And that he doesn't have to come into the cell. He doesn't introduce spots in the fucking city. He knows how to write a fucking joke. He can do it on the road when he goes away. And he he cut his bills and he saves 70 something thousand dollars a year just by not being here. And the state is very liberal. And the people of crowds are very liberal. And he just didn't like it anymore. So he moved and then he did this special. And from the advice of Joe Rogan, you should just give it away, because Netflix won't do it.
Starting point is 00:56:49 Netflix won't give a guy like him a special. Comedy Central won't do it. No one will do it. No one's gonna give a white dude who's on the right a special right now. It's just not happening. So he did it himself, him and his manager. And he put it out for nothing.
Starting point is 00:57:03 Mm-hmm. Nothing except, now on the cover of this, well, they took the guy out. Not yet. I mean, I don't think they can on the beginning of the video because it's already tabulated views. The artwork, the artwork, there was another guy in that picture on the artwork earlier today. Yeah, no, that's the white guy with dress.
Starting point is 00:57:21 But my question is, let me just get to, before you get into your question, just to, because people might not know, is that one of the guys in there was a black dude who was with the black lives matter and he wanted to be killed. And then one of the girls, some girl found it and fucking attacked, you know, a Nick in
Starting point is 00:57:45 Europe piece of shit for having that on there because he's a comedy. You have a Nick. You know what I think? Did he? No, well, I talked to Nick tonight because I was like, we're probably going to want to talk about this. And he was like, had no idea. He just randomly got a bunch of people.
Starting point is 00:57:58 There he is right there. He got a, he got people off the internet. He put it together. And he, as soon as he found out, this person was like, what the fuck? He was like, oh, all right, I had no idea. I would never do that intentionally. And he took it down. You know what?
Starting point is 00:58:15 He's allowed to use your face. Well, that's what that was my question. That's the only thing where it's like, I don't think, I think you have to have people's rights to use their images. But that's the only. But you're making money off of it, right? Is he not monetizing the YouTube page? I mean, you have to be free use in the, uh, because if they're in new real on the,
Starting point is 00:58:32 if they're on the internet, if they're on the internet and it's because of new news, something I'm pretty sure. Yeah, sure. Because they give you, you give up that right. When you're, uh, if you do a new thing, yeah, that's our all protest. And he probably just got that from new from people who already are using it. I don't know, but that's what I'm assuming, but that's the guy. That's the original guy.
Starting point is 00:58:51 And I guess, but he got shot by a black dude, by the way, not, it wasn't a cop thing or whatever. He got shot by another black guy. And, but Nick took it down. Yeah. I mean, he didn't have to, if he was a fucking, he was like, fuck that, fuck you. Freedom of fucking. He was like, yeah, I'll take it down. I didn't know it. But it's better that he did. Why deal with the headaches when it's not worth it.
Starting point is 00:59:14 You know, he's like, look, he wants to get a special out there. He wants people to hear it. He doesn't need that kind of bullshit. I have enough bullshit from I disagree. I mean, he, I actually think the problem with any of this shit is that people bring it up. I mean, if, if, I think if people stop talking about Trump, he would just go away and some respect, but he's every single fucking second of the day. Somebody's going, did you hear what he said? Did you see what he, this fucking piece of shit? Do you see what he did? And we're like, what, what, what, what, somebody's going, did you hear what he said? Did you see what he, this fucking piece of shit? Did you see what he did? And we're like, what, what, what, what? And it's a car crash.
Starting point is 00:59:49 I mean, you don't want to look when you drive him by, but you got to. Yeah, but it was the same when Obama was present all the right, the, the, the, the, the, the, not bad. It's a little more though, because it's a, Trump is, and it's a fucking trolling. Yeah, but it's also like, this is smart.
Starting point is 01:00:04 It's showing that like trolling is by far the most effective form of marketing, right? Like it's guaranteed to get people's attention. Most of the comics that have been hating on it all day have been doing free PR for them. All day. All fucking times. Don't have to. A ton of it. Yeah, it's very self-serving though.
Starting point is 01:00:20 Yeah, of course. Why is that right? Why? Because they're saying things like if you've ever said Nick DePaul, it's funny. You have to answer for your crimes Comics going after comics. I could see the public. It's comic in giant quotes So it's mostly people who have yet to blog right? So it's so shit comics who are on a path. I love it. I love doc. I'm not working comics
Starting point is 01:00:39 What I didn't even look over. I realized Mike was new. I was gonna say to pull up There was a great aca shingh had a great tweet about Nick Topalo. There was people that's Mike right there. That's the Mike. That's all that's mush Mike Mike tomorrow. No more. He's up. Now you just can't be heard today. That's what he's waiting. Oh, no, so what do you say? No, so I'm saying there's been so many comments. There's been comics bashing him. There's been comics defending him. And then, uh, Akash was Akash Singh is he's, he's fucking funny guy. He's hilarious. And he also, he came to his defense while also saying that, you know, he's like, yeah, he's a fucking, he's like, he's a fucking what, what's the exact word? Pull it. I don't want to misquote him.
Starting point is 01:01:17 But yeah, I mean, I, I just, I do, I get, I get what Nick, what Nick's going for entirely, like the way he's marketing it. It's clearly effective I think that's that was a real shitty like happenstance that it ended up being a murdered guy that he used with the Wearing the black lives matter shirt. I don't think that helped his cause at all But it did show that he's more human than most on that side where he's like, oh, okay Yeah, isn't that isn't that what we're supposed to do, either side? Is that when somebody, when you, when somebody goes, dude, what the fuck are you doing?
Starting point is 01:01:49 Oh, fuck dude, I didn't, and you go, okay, cool. And you keep it moving. He's trying to put out a comedy album. He's not trying to, you know what I mean? It's like, when you come down to, he's just trying to write fucking jokes. Right. And, and he, he fucked up and, you know, I'm sure if he did do it
Starting point is 01:02:10 Netflix, if he did do it with a big company, a blah, blah, blah. They would have been like, you can't use that or you can't use this. These are the ones you can use. He's doing it by himself. He went and just found images of people that are social justice warriors.
Starting point is 01:02:22 Did he do the Photoshop himself? I think he found the photos and just used these. I don't know, I don't know the details. But I just know that he social justice warriors. Did he do the Photoshop himself? I think he found the photos, he just used these. I don't know, I don't know the details. But I just know that he took it down. As soon as somebody said that's wrong, he went, is it, you know what that is wrong? Fuck it, I'll take it down. And that's the first guy to tell you to go fuck yourself.
Starting point is 01:02:37 Yeah. I mean, I remember I was in line in Japan when I went with Colin and I was in this long line and Nick was standing over there and I needed a card that was next to him to fill out at the airport to get in and I was like Nick, can you grab me one of those? He goes, now I go, just can you get, it goes, I'm not your fucking slave.
Starting point is 01:02:56 I go, I don't wanna have to get out of fucking line. And he goes, now, get it yourself. I was like, fucking motherfucker. And we almost went the blows at the airport. Cause how to get out of line as soon as they get out, they just stepped up and I had to get the back of the fucking line. You passed, you had it. I wasn't.
Starting point is 01:03:13 Yeah, but anyway, it was a, yeah, a comic was saying no one, one comics says no one over allowed to, should be allowed to do stand up over the age of 40. And then he writes that back. But then he even says later on. No, who said that? I mean, this is a comic. He's also, who's chasing, like he's, he's joking. Oh, you know, he, but he's, he's, he's giving shit. Like people are giving shit to Diablo and kind of justifiably so on some level where it's a little cheesy to be like
Starting point is 01:03:37 too edgy for Netflix, too honest for comedy central. Like that's such, Oakley wearing no fear t-shirt, horsehit. Like it's like, the special look him off that way. No, I know. Well, that's the big disagree. I disagree with you. I disagree with you. Okay. I disagree with you. I think that's just, uh, I think him. It's a fact. It's not even a, he's not saying it to be edgy. He's saying it because it's a fucking fact. They will not take a guy like him where Nick thePolo, whether you like it or not, is one of the funniest guys in the fucking business for as long as all of us have been here.
Starting point is 01:04:13 Totally. To say that, to say that that's for the comedy world that produces comedy and puts it in front of people, to not give him a special is fucking unheard of. It's blasphemy. It doesn't make sense to me. And it's because of the way we are. So you know what?
Starting point is 01:04:34 Because he leans right or because he says fucked up things, you don't get to be exposed. We're just gonna expose people that nobody's gonna have a fucking problem with. And that's not comedy to me. That're just going to expose people that nobody's going to have a fucking problem with and that's not comedy to me. That's not comedy to me. Okay. So when he is too edgy for necklace because they won't give him a special. I don't I don't disagree. He said it's kind of cheesy. It is. It is. I don't do it. I don't do it. I don't think it's true. That doesn't negate the fact that it is camp cheese weight. I don't think so because who has done it?
Starting point is 01:05:05 Everybody. Everybody's an edge lord. Everybody's saying, I'm too edgy for this. I'm too edgy for that. But who said that? My excuse to my parents. What he said with Nick is that he's not doing that false provotto where it's like the Midwest
Starting point is 01:05:15 comic. No, he's right. I'm saying he's right. But it's right. How is it cheesy? It's still a cheesy way to mark it. But if it's real, how is it? If you're doing that and you're not edgy, that one of his jokes
Starting point is 01:05:28 is hilarious, by the way, which is you can't fucking say on anything is, uh, uh, well, the girl got hit by a kill by a truck. What religion kills people with trucks? Because the mother said it was gone. And he goes, oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, Islam. Who the fuck's gonna say that joke, Mike? No, totally, I'm not arguing the point, but it's not. I just disagree with this issue. It's not funny. It's just like, I'm rocked on badass.
Starting point is 01:05:52 I just think cool and comedy is so fucking overplayed. And on both sides, because you got the left who like people like their comedy because they're wearing some cool shoes. And then you got somebody else who's like, I'm badass, man, I'm telling it like it is. I'm not fucking. I'm not saying like it is. It's both fucks. I'm not the sh**.
Starting point is 01:06:06 You're saying, but you're saying two things though, and I just make sense to you, because I agree with you, cool as the enemy of funny. I agree. But you're saying two things. You're saying Nick is a funny guy. Nick is the real deal, but he's cheesy and he's being... No, I said that is cheesy. I never called Nick cheesy.
Starting point is 01:06:18 But him doing it is cheesy. He's doing that. Yeah, I thought that was cheesy, but that's him. How am I not allowed to have that opinion? I'm not saying, I'm just trying to understand it because you're saying Nick's not cheesy, but if he did something cheesy, that makes him cheesy. It does not, because he's had a full career of non cheesy moments and non cheesy comedy, but in my opinion, in 2019, it seems pretty fucking cheesy to be like, man, I'm just the
Starting point is 01:06:40 edges dude out there. Nobody will have me. I don't think that's what he's saying. That's not saying I'm the edges guy. Fine, but that's dude out there. Nobody will have me. I don't think that's what he's saying. That's not saying I'm the edgy as fine. But that's how it comes across to somebody like me. And apparently other people have the exact same opinion based on just that.
Starting point is 01:06:53 I'm just saying the comedy is great. I love it. I love Nick's comedy. I don't agree with him. I agree with him. I'm gonna let it go after this. But here's what I'm saying is that I don't think he's, I think you're wrong about that because nobody is doing that.
Starting point is 01:07:04 Everybody's falling into fucking line but here's what I'm saying is that I don't think he's, I think you're wrong about that because nobody is doing that. Everybody's falling into fucking line and giving everybody the industry what they want. Nobody's actually sticking out and saying fucked up jokes and doing the kind of comedy they want to do because they don't want to not be liked by the industry. They don't want to not get something because they're and that's not what comedy was ever about. Comedy was always about fucking being you on stage and saying whatever the fuck you want
Starting point is 01:07:29 and finding your voice and being an individual. Now it's about fucking being famous. So there's famous people you want to be famous or you want to be funny in my book. So I just don't agree with that because I think that nobody's doing, if everybody's doing on the edge, I mean, compound is doing it.
Starting point is 01:07:45 Legion of Skanks is doing it. Literally everybody is doing it. Yeah, I'm the edge guy. I'm the edge guy. I'm the edgey. Nobody's saying this shit. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:07:54 I'm doing it. I go because we're just. I love you. I'm not trying to disagree and have a fight. I'm not either. I just want to make the thing with this and I was saying was not even this tweet, but the reply to it is somebody was yelling at him for defending him. And he was like, listen, I think not either. I'm just trying. I just want to make the thing with this that I was saying was not even this tweet put the reply to it is somebody was yelling at him for defending him. And he was like, listen, I think he's, he's, he's always been, he said something
Starting point is 01:08:11 like he's always been an asshole to me. And he's probably a racist. But he, look, there you go. Watch Nick as far from anyone noble, I don't like the guy. He's objectively better at comedy than this kid from what I've seen. So he's like, so he's just, he's basically saying the same thing where he's going like, he's like, I don't like the guy. He's probably a piece of shit, but he's fucking objectively funny and no one could take that away. Also in person Nick is one of the nicer people that I, you know, disagree. I don't get it. Older established comedian. I just see you guys. I just see it. Because you guys haven't been doing it long, and I'm
Starting point is 01:08:42 not to say it totally. There was a time when there was great people in the industry and they dictated to some extent what comics were getting specials. And it wasn't all. Now the audience is dictating to the industry what comics are getting specials by their Instagram followers, by their Twitter followers and, and by their social media. So now the industry has let the fucking day, the asylum go fucking wild, you know what I mean? It should be a good thing, but it's not.
Starting point is 01:09:15 It's not a good thing to have just the people. People are dumb. People in general are dumb and don't know good comedy. And the problem is there is not the people in place. Can I say, can I just correct you? I don't think people are dumb. I think people do know good comedy. They're just what they're exposed to is okay, that's, you can't say, okay,
Starting point is 01:09:36 so if you do a show with all clean, young comics, and they go up and do a certain style of comedy, they're gonna laugh because is it funny? Yeah. And if you put like a Louie or a Colin or, you know, um, boss. I think he was just, he was just giving the thumbs. So I don't want to check his watch again. I don't think people are dumb. I don't think people are dumb. I just think there's a different style of comedy. Yes, there's 10, 20 styles. So I happen to like a certain style of comedy.
Starting point is 01:10:10 I happen to not like another style of comedy. I just, my brain, if you're not teaching, if you're not being psychological, if you're not philosophizing, if you're not exposing yourself on stage, I, and you're telling jokes, I fade out. My brain just shuts down because I get it. It's a magic trick. I get the trick. I understand how you do it. You do it the same fucking way the whole time. And everybody's laughing. Great. You're killing awesome. But to me, I'm, I fade away. But then there's certain people that expose themselves. And that's the people that I go Wow, well, that's that I walk away going, what the fuck? But that's the whole crew we hung out with that everybody we hung out with
Starting point is 01:10:53 Shit, they become well, and also you guys know that like personally speaking and I'm sure Mike is similar, but I grew up listening to you guys. You guys were literally my comedy heroes. And now, you know, that's, I'm trying. I hear that. I hear that all the time. I'm trying to follow in your comedy footsteps. So I am exposing myself. I am pretty dirty. I do not get picked for industry stuff. I, you know, I got a proof for late night three years ago and was ghosted by.
Starting point is 01:11:16 I've never been put on TV. It's for my low nipples. I've tried to do it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Because because of the way you guys are because you're funny. It takes, it doesn't take, you can't find your voice overnight. Takes, you know, it takes, takes 20, 15 years to find your voice to find out who you really are. And the funny, you know, the funny, and I disagree, the funniest people on the planet are in their 40s. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm 100% because you know nothing. Listen, everyone note. But yeah, but listen, I think you can be funny. I was doing a tongue in cheek. I hate that tongue. It's a real opinion that some
Starting point is 01:12:32 people share. Right. Here's the thing. You I was telling Gabby last week, I go, stop playing Brooklyn, stop playing your safe fucking rooms. They're awesome. You need them because you need that backbone to keep you supported, but now you have it. Now go and do fucking hell gigs, but they're not fun. The Brooklyn room. They're too sensitive to things. Yeah, but not only that, but in my baited white, not to you. Not to you. I'm saying, when you're at her stage, you need to go and fucking get in the heat because
Starting point is 01:13:00 that's when you will, uh, you will be forced to find your inner funny. When the jokes don't work, your tempos fucked up and you have to find, you're gonna. You already insist, hate. You gotta, that's when you go in and find that funny. You find that X-Men inside of you and all of a sudden you say something, or do something and once you bring that out,
Starting point is 01:13:23 then you bring that back to your room or whatever. But a lot of times it's gonna suck. I mean, I quit comedy a lot when I first started, especially at like her stage, I was like, fuck this, I'm not doing this, what you do with tomorrow. Yeah. Listen, I gotta go, I gotta go home, I'm driving home cause I gotta get up at 4 a.m.
Starting point is 01:13:40 I'll be, what are you doing? I gotta fly the fucking Phoenix tomorrow morning. For what? Oh, I'm painting some houses out there. I'm working in the face that because that's you're close to that I'm not close I'll always do comedy, baby. Yeah, but you'll do houses on fucking the weekdays. I don't care I listen to the big work club done. Oh, I'm at house a comedy. So you say you'd have a big business I I'm a big pain. I said a big business. You have a big business.
Starting point is 01:14:06 I use to have a big contract. I'm actually can totally see that. I know why. Right now. I mean, don't know why. Look at them. I had a real big business, but I fucking I'm doing co.
Starting point is 01:14:17 I fucked you up. I'm doing fucking F4150 out front right now. Hey, so I'm at the house comedy for first day. Yeah, and then what tomorrow night? I'm at the house comedy for a reason. Yeah. And then what tomorrow night, I'm doing a one night or in Tucson at club. Oh, it's called the Oh in Tucson. I'm going to talk. We should talk tomorrow. I'll talk to you about what you'll find out. Is it bad or good? It's about your pending serious. Why would I bring it? Why would I bring
Starting point is 01:14:40 up? I don't know. I'm not going to tell you. I know. You don't know anything. Oh, I know what you want to tell me. You know, Jack Greenlit the show, he's very excited. He started three times a week. You don't know, but we're doing a photo shoot, actually. Yeah, that's what I know. And we're doing something else. Listen, when I'm doing my post, can you tell these fucking clowns? Sorry, we're having a side conversation on his podcast, but it was to hurt you. So that's for Bob. I'm not, I'm not getting mad anymore. I'm not going to get angry for a year. I've been, I've been hurt so bad. Yeah. Oh, that's too long. Next week after that, the week after I'm at
Starting point is 01:15:14 what roar, the week, what's the one in Worcester? Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, towards the end of the week. Yeah. Well, that's going to be a good front. I'm booked up the whole year, the whole year, Friday, May 31st. My daughter's getting married. It's in your website. So I didn't forget. Hey, Congratulations.
Starting point is 01:15:39 Yeah. Okay. Thank you. Yeah. That's a big weekend. My daughters get married. And I'm doing the rich field playhouse Saturday, then your party on Sunday and Sunday. Oh, my God. Yeah, it'll be good. Yeah. I put it me and we're going to bring Raina too. Yeah. I know. I don't want just you. Oh, do you know what Raina was doing to Derosa? Did I tell you? If I got to tell you if I leave it, when we were at a fucking at a moon tower, anytime Derosa would walk up, Rina would cover her eyes like he was bird box and she said, I can't look at you. I'm sorry. She would walk up and he would say something like, you're being very mean. She goes, you can't trick me. I do not listen to me. I do not want to be in comedy. I want to get an acting gig and just fade away. Just an eight year run on a cop show. I just want to come up. Guys do the best you can to be safe.
Starting point is 01:16:34 Okay, cuz I don't want to be around this fucking who has the smarts of Bonnie and the meanness of all. Yeah, yeah, I don't want to be around. Yeah, she's a hybrid. She'll make us all quit. She's a hybrid. She's a hybrid. I don't want to be around with that. I don't want my son around. I don't want my teen. I don't want my thousand.
Starting point is 01:16:51 Yeah, you do that. Yeah, I beat it. Get out of here. Thank you for having me. Take your guys your boat tinge in my book. I appreciate it, Rich. I can't believe you left for them. Nothing we made this show any better if we just heard him falling down the
Starting point is 01:17:07 ground. Fuck it snap his neck is dumb hats on top of his chest. I think when he gets buried he will have the hat in the casket right. Like instead of the fingers laced if Bonnie has any sense she'll just fucking bury him in like a onesie. Like a jack like a onesie like a jackal Elaine onesie Yeah, just fucking dumb rings. If he's buried in the rings, I'm taking one. Oh, yeah. Yeah
Starting point is 01:17:37 I need to pretend to go kiss his ring. I'm gonna go up kisses ring and then pull one off the little bucket. I just rub it off with your teeth. Probably won't be able to get it over there swollen arthritic enough because he's 70. So yeah, it's a weird thing. I mean, here, here's a problem though, is that you're sitting there. You were waiting to take a swipe at this special. Oh, for sure. You were waiting and then you found this and he said, sorry, he basically was, all right, I fucked up and changed it. That should be the end of it.
Starting point is 01:18:03 People make mistakes. Yeah, you can make a. You fucking make a mistake. And if you admit it, you should be able to move on from it. But they will not all of a sudden it's like, he's this and he that. You know how many people are never going to even see the tweet that he put out saying that he didn't realize and he's sorry and fucked up because they'll only see the original tweet with that person going, look how fucked up this is. And then they'll just spiral off of that. No one will like the amount of people that will see that versus tweet with that person going, look how fucked up this is. And then they'll just spiral off of that. No one will, like the amount of people that will see that versus the people that saw the original tweet will be probably 5,000 to one.
Starting point is 01:18:30 That's also why if you're going to apologize, like he did, only do it for yourself, because there's no reason to make a grandiose public apology because they're going to try to reframe it to make you apologize in every possible fraction of how the sentence played out to everyone. So it doesn't matter. I think, I think too, is that, like you said, it's, you guys are fucking, you're giving, you're giving him the best of it. It's amazing. It's almost like, did you do this?
Starting point is 01:18:59 Did you fuck? Is this some genius fucking thing? Some nerd told you to do? Yeah. Put a dead black eye in your fucking. But nerd told you to do? Yeah. Put a dead black eye in your fucking. But he knows. Give him the finger. It's how it's how to market, right?
Starting point is 01:19:11 You learn from the president. It's crazy. It's everybody. Everybody knows that you have to like comedy is weird right now, right? Because being a human being is no popular. So you have to be on one end of the extremes because you know those are the most fanatical fans. So those people on either the, the crazy right or the crazy left, they're the ones that
Starting point is 01:19:29 are going to latch on and be like fucking locus in support of your horses. Well, the other side also pushes it in the same kind of thing. There's a bigger group of people in the middle that don't latch on to anything. They're not loud because they don't want to latch on anything because they don't want to have to be put on a side. Right. Because if you say one thing wrong or right whatever side you're on, all of a sudden you're that guy. Totally. You know, so you can't even, I mean, it's, it's sick. And that's why I think, you know, I mean, I mean, you look at Carlin, the shitty set about Christianity is just fucked. Yeah. Fuck if you're a Christian,
Starting point is 01:20:04 but I can say it was never apologized, but it was hilarious. Yeah. Fucking hilarious. You never, I mean, the fact that he just was able to reinvent himself like three or four times just from going from hippie to hippie weatherman, like just and just being like rich of pride talked about shooting up and fucking blows and it is car. What was in it? Oh, we beat that.
Starting point is 01:20:23 He shot several. He shot his car with a, I mean, if what the fuck you had to say, you'd immediately be, you'd probably have your Twitter account removed now from that. I think that's worse than jerking off in front of a girl. Yeah, but I mean, well, making physical contact for sure. For your brand to fire. Yeah. It's just a fucking, is that where when you say it out loud? Yeah. It's just a fucking, it's a shitty, it's a shitty, weird time.
Starting point is 01:20:51 But like, there's a thing too, is people that, and so many people, comics that I think are struggling, essentially struggling elevated open-micers that need, don't have a voice yet because like you said, they haven't done enough to do that. L latch on to this either super anti-Trump or either super pro-chump as a way of kind of just being like here is my fucking voice it sounds like all of you echo chamber. Yeah and then they and then they these are the people they get a ton of followers and then they get shit from that and then that's why when comedy central or whoever puts their shit online it's an eight minutes of that is the most frustrating part is all of these progressive
Starting point is 01:21:24 open-mikers and younger comedians who are railing against Nick. Don't understand that they're actually doing exactly what he set out to do. They're conjuring up all of this energy and it goes, yeah, it's him for the project. And even the and the people that are opposite of it, they're fucking, they're doing the most push. Yeah, but it all goes a, it goes back to what I'm saying. Do you want to be famous or funny? If you want to be funny, it's a long haul. You have to be true to yourself. You have to be true to funny.
Starting point is 01:21:50 If it's funny, that's it. It doesn't matter what your fucking dumb political view is. It's hard to make money just being funny though. It's, well, but like I said, do you want to be famous or funny? There's a lot of guys that make a good living that are fucking funny.
Starting point is 01:22:05 Yeah, are you gonna have a Mercedes? No, you might have a Honda. Are you gonna be able to put your kids through Harvard? Probably not. They might have to get loans or get scholarships. But are you gonna be happy? Are you gonna have a loving wife and a loving family and being a loving husband?
Starting point is 01:22:20 Or wife, are you gonna be able to, I know a lot of people that are hilarious and they, they do not, uh, they don't care. They're not, they're just trying to be funny. Right. It's not, hey, I got to do this type of comedy because that's what's in right now. And a lot of people just want fame. They want fame. They want followers. They want, uh, they want accolades. They don't care how they get it. They just want it now and as fast as you can get it and That and that shit goes away most of the time sometimes it doesn't and we see that But most of the fucking time in my almost 30 years of comedy it fucking goes away Well, now they're left they're left they're left with nothing
Starting point is 01:23:01 Well now here's the weird part too is is now there's this also, there's that side. And then there's also this weird middle area that we're literally in right now, which is the people that are funny, that aren't famous are realizing they don't need comedy central and they don't need Netflix. So they're making their own thing, which is based all the followins. Andrew Shulf's. Exactly. Now, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 01:23:24 no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Andrew's been trying to look like they both. I remember meeting Fini at the basement of the village lantern and both him and Schultz were wearing the same flat brim Yankee hat in the exact obtuse angle. But he had, but he had one of those Mexican moustaches at the time. You know Mike, not me, baby. I say, I got as good looking as him, but can I say something? Yes.
Starting point is 01:23:57 If I had to choose one to be with, it'd be you. What do you mean now? You mean for a night or for a lifetime lifetime? Night. I do with you I just I don't know what shirts me more or maybe neither yeah, I don't know this fucking fuck to I think I don't know I don't know what the five mean, all we used to worry about back in the day was just being funny. I don't know what all this other shit because now it's social
Starting point is 01:24:29 media. That's the worst part about it. It's the best part and the worst part. You can fucking tour forever without ever needing to get on TV if you have a good social media following from your own funny. But also to get a following, you have to kind of sometimes do some pretty dubious shit. But they choose who the fuck they want to be famous social media too. I mean, dude, I'm telling you, me and Mike and my go-get-mah, we've been doing these test things with my videos. All of a sudden, these three videos get 70,000 views. It's like 70,000.
Starting point is 01:24:56 We go from 2000 to 70,000. And then it just shuts down. It's like, what the fuck? On YouTube? On Instagram. So somebody a what the on YouTube on Instagram. So somebody some they blame on algorithms or whatever the fuck is. They throttle it. You think what? Something happened.
Starting point is 01:25:12 You can't go. You can't go up and then come back down unless I didn't do anything different. Yeah. We we didn't do anything different. We did we did the same thing. If not better. And we were intentionally trying to get shit going on there. And all of a sudden it happened,
Starting point is 01:25:30 I'm like, wow, 70,000. We were going from 20 to 40, then 56. Whoa. And they petered out 70, 75. And we're like, okay, cool, we're in. We're in this, we're in that, whatever this fucking channel is, we're in. And then they just decided to push me on of it. Something did, and it wasn't
Starting point is 01:25:49 anything I did. I didn't post anything. I stopped doing that shit. I don't fucking post stupid shit anymore. I'm not trying to be fucking Mr. Controversial or you said edgy fucking son. Oh, Glee, son, glass. That was pretty good. I don't know. Yeah, but then I'm also the same. All of my, my shit goes all over. I mean, I don't have a high, I don't have a lot of followers at all, but some of the things will get.
Starting point is 01:26:13 I posted a video yesterday that has probably 700 views. I posted a video of me scaring Lewis in a car that's got 70,000 views. Yeah, but that's because like, I think, yeah, it's a, yeah, it's a weird thing. My stand-ups have been doing pretty well consistently across the board. It's a weird thing though, but that's because like I think yeah, it's a yeah, it's a my stand-up's been doing pretty well consistently across the board. It's a weird thing though, but there's something in there that at any moment if something's in there, they don't like or somebody complains. Yeah, I think oh there is there is certainly subject matter because like if I post like weed stuff, it's
Starting point is 01:26:39 a hundred thousand immediately, right instantly, but if I posted a joke talking about like, you know, the unreasonable expectations my wife had that would lead to sex, meaning like doing laundry, doing dishes and showering. It's bullshit. Clearly a tongue in cheek joke. And I have both alt-right people, you know, calling me a cuck for, oh, you have to do all that shit to fuck your wife. What are you some kind of pussy? And then you have people on the other side being like, how dare you joke about murdering your wife in front of kids? And it's like,
Starting point is 01:27:07 one of the views on that, they go less, right? That one was like, yeah, like, so, so somebody's deciding, yeah, who sees this and how many people see it? There's no way. How do you go? All those people saw your shit, right? Yeah. How did they go from not, how did they not see it now? I don't know. So it's a weird position for me to be in like, like I said, you know, because I'm, I'm sure because of what I said about the opening thing, I'll get that I'm a homo and all this shit, I get that on Twitter. What do I need to just about the Apollo thing saying it's cheesy, whatever. I have my opinion. You don't know. You're not going to get that. You can get to follow
Starting point is 01:27:41 fucking call your next to receive. I would say it to his face, I love him. I think his comedy is great. That personally is not for me. I'm fucking fuck you. Go fuck yourself. Cheesy. You're cheesy. You are. I'm certain my opinion wouldn't budge him whatsoever. No, but it's weird to be. I know that we were just trying to be. I was just trying to be funny. Well, let's take it back to serious. Frankly, I've got enough of this comedy nonsense. And we've seen my soapbox now. But it's weird to be in the middle to where like, it feels odd to not have a team because you can do these things that appeal to a certain, you know, small demographic, or you can be righteous and try to be funny and then have both sides hate you.
Starting point is 01:28:23 It's a weird vibe. Yeah, like, but it's weird to have comics. It's just weird to have comics attacking other comics for trying to. That's the part that's very bizarre. And it's like, wow. You know, how dare you? You've never, you then what are you doing? That's not risky. What are you saying? It's supposed to be a family of sorts, you know what I mean? Well, there is no, there's a, it's a brotherhood or sisterhood. It's a, it's a hood.
Starting point is 01:28:50 It used to be a brotherhood till they started complaining. No, it's a, more of a sisterhood. Yeah. No, we do have this common comic bond, you know, no matter where you are. Even if you see people that have been doing exclusively open mics that do a tonight show appearance, and it's like, yeah, you're watching, you go, this is horrific, but at the same time, I'm never going to be like, get this person off the air, and never going to tweet about them, and be like, they should not be on this. This is terrible. This is an urge.
Starting point is 01:29:21 No, we're texting each other. Yeah. Yeah. That's what the group chat is for. Oh, we trash you. Yeah. What? I'm not you. The genuine. You're Sarah.
Starting point is 01:29:32 Papa. I'm talking to me that good looking and that insecure. I don't know, man. It's fucking sad. I mean, and I think it's only going to make this type of comedy. Yeah. I mean, look, there is a comedy that is funnier or gets louder laughs than certain comedy. You know, that if you see, you know, a certain comic, they'll get laughs and they're good and they're consistent. But then this guy's just go out and fucking like a department, big J, big, big, big J. You know what I mean? Just fucking, hysterically laughing all the time.
Starting point is 01:30:07 You know, it's just different styles. You know, Quinn is a different style than Voss. Or Norton, you know, or Keith. Keith is a hammer. Keith will go out and just fucking murder. Yeah. And you're like, fuck, you know, and that's just the way it is. And then, you know, Colin him go out and he, he
Starting point is 01:30:25 murders to just a different way. But I think that this, this style of calling Nick, they're starting to push this shit underground. They're starting to make it. You guys are fucking at you. You know, you don't want to fucking give attention to it. You don't want it to be popular. Then stop talking about it. Right. You know, if you don't want Trump to win, don't bring Trump up. Just let him beat, let him fuck himself. Yeah. Let him just talk. What are you, why do you go to fucking sit there and reveal that you're a politician?
Starting point is 01:30:55 You're just a piece of shit too. Every politician is a fucking come on. Who's good? They all have fucking history. They all have dark. Just go out and talk about the fucking people and talk about us and don't bring up the thing that you don't want brought up.
Starting point is 01:31:09 You're giving it publicity. Well, think about the Megalimani you have to have to be in any sort of brands of government, especially if you want to be president. You know what I mean? Just that whole thing of, you know, it's that classic thing of being like, if you think you can speak for 400 million people,
Starting point is 01:31:22 you're a fucking, you know, you're a psych, you're a fucking lunatic. No matter who you are. Yeah. It's crazy. I mean, I could, but that's because I got ideas. I think that it's all, it's, it's, people stop. I don't think people watch the news as much of these do.
Starting point is 01:31:36 People aren't, give a fuck about anymore. I think the average bear, the average motherfucker out there is just like, fuck, I can't deal with it. Think about how like just low energy this podcast has become just from talking about politics. Oh no, we just might left the energy left the room. You know what I mean? Yeah, I'm just. It's really given me hard palpitation. Oh yeah, you're a little jacked up today.
Starting point is 01:32:00 Yeah, dude. I'm sweating really bad. Oh, sweat always. Can we talk about Ian's decision to do his creative choice for the sketch today that he chose? Oh, yeah. Well, we tried, we tried him, we tried him out initially is because he looks, he's got a very Italian face, you know, what I mean with the fucking mustache and everything. So we were like, oh, it'll be perfect to play a waiter at a pizza place. Or a gay guy in the 70s at any gay club.
Starting point is 01:32:25 Yeah, so he comes, his creative choice is just to play a feminine, a feminine pizza boy. And then we tried to get him to do an Italian accent. And it was one of the worst I've ever heard. I had to, I got to take blame for that because I was being silly. And I think I called them fruit cup once or something like that. Yeah, yeah. I got a lot. I was a little. And I think I called them fruit cup once, or something like that. It got a lot, I was a little out of my element today. I got in there, I think we had all day.
Starting point is 01:32:51 And then, but I got into traffic, I forgot a lot of shit, I was a little razz. And then when I got in there, I'm like, oh, fuck. You know, like every fucking shoot, I thought we were gonna shoot at this table, I didn't know the mirrors, I didn't do a location fucking scout where I was like, I wanna learn all this table. I didn't know the mirrors. I didn't do a location fucking scout where I was like, I wanna learn all this shit.
Starting point is 01:33:07 I just started my brain because I'm a company if I fucking so long. I didn't know they had little mirrors that I'm gonna show the fucking camera. So by the time we figured it all out and we're ready to shoot and then we had to figure out certain things. The way we shot this was it wasn't just,
Starting point is 01:33:24 I knew it going to be probably try to figure it out last night. We finally did thank God, but I thought I was just going to be too shot over the shoulder over the shoulder with done right and a couple of the cool little shots. So we forgot about four pies and slices and pizza math and fucking pizza crust and half eating slice. And then we were and the biggest thing and the manager is like by the way, you don't have to three, you have to one.
Starting point is 01:33:45 One, which is like, but we weren't off book, which Gabby brought up. It's like the stupidest thing ever. We should have been out last time we're off book. We mean, we weren't off book. We didn't, we, we forgot. Oh, a chunk of, no, I'm already, I already was editing it before.
Starting point is 01:34:00 I got the first minute done. We were fucking great. The good thing we did is turn off the fucking AC because that whole first shot that we did that was great, wildly unusable. It just sounds like the microphone is in the air conditioner. But after that, everything is great.
Starting point is 01:34:12 Well, I think we got it, but we should have been offline. I mean, this twat comes in. She was like, she came in, she knew a fucking, she knew everything. She didn't even look at the script once. Ian didn't know it at the time of shooting. Well, I didn't want to use anybody. I just wanted to be us because I wanted to simplify everything and do it.
Starting point is 01:34:32 Yeah, Mike, we're huge. Yeah, we thank you. So you're both a fucking great. I mean, he got all the shit. No, you're great. I tried to tee it up for somebody. Anybody, Jesus Christ, lobbed it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:43 I saw his heart sing. His body as soon as it was lobbed up. Um, anyways, let's wrap this up guys. Let's go. That was a good show. That was fun. It was a lot of fun. It's a quick one.
Starting point is 01:34:57 It was an hour and a half. Oh, yeah. That picture is amazing. That's what I see when I see you. That's fair. Honestly, I am unattractive. That's what I see when I see you. That's fair. Honestly, I am unattractive. That's microacting to his own.
Starting point is 01:35:07 That's what your nipples look like. That's microacting to his own chest. Like, Mike got really heated at me tonight. Me too. I didn't. I really didn't. There was some, there was some, there was some verbal sparring in there. Well, I mean, I was just, the glove hits, but isn't that fun?
Starting point is 01:35:21 Isn't that what having conversation is all about is being able to make is made for great That's why Netflix won't air it. I know Fucking second place is the first loser loser Cool runnings now loser that was bad What do we got fucking mush? Follow us at YKW dude podcast on Instagram. Yep. Follow Bobby at Robert Kelly live. Follow Gabby at Gabby is Brian.
Starting point is 01:35:51 Yes. Mike at Mike V. Suarez. What a fuck. I like how you got. I mean, this is really vibrant. We also have this new merch thing happening with the great Becky. What are you doing? What's going on?
Starting point is 01:36:04 Talk to us. Hey. I'm here. Oh, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Hi, sweetie. I'm good. So we got this merch thing that she's doing with a bunch of people. And it's, remember to be happy.com.
Starting point is 01:36:16 And we have these amazing shirts up there that Gabby's making. Go get one. I mean, Gabby Becky. Sorry, Becky, I looked. That's a great website name too. It's a great website. And he has the best part is that, you know, last week we did a show and Chris over there made that graphic and it's up there right now. Art Rocks. If you can't remember to be happy, just remember Art Vark. Art Vark.
Starting point is 01:36:39 Bring it back. If you get angry, just say Art Vark. Art Vark. Art Vark. Oh, that's a new shirt, but by the way, it's a picture of an ad-vac. It's already, look, there's literally they have it. Oh, nice. I mean, it's not, I think we chose the one with the ad-vac, but they, I think Chris superseded my decision. It looks like an angry ninja turtles now. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:57 What? You gave me two choices, and I just want with that one because we didn't talk over the weekend. So I was, I actually like the one with the ad-vac. Well, we can do that one too. Oh, see that one with the art bar. We can do that one too. Oh, see that's my point is that we can just do shit. It's direct to garment. That means we're going to change it up
Starting point is 01:37:12 and we're going to leave that up there for another week. The new decision with this one. And you can go up there and get this stuff. So when something happens on the show that's funny and we can put it up on this amazing website. We got the, we are the dude, the YKWD. You got the, the, the, the dude Buddha one.
Starting point is 01:37:27 A lot of people like that, right? Yeah, it's the most popular. Most pop, the dude Buddha is the most popular. I actually ate ramen for that picture. And that, and that, and that, and that,
Starting point is 01:37:38 start the show. And that, and that, and that, and that, and that, and that, and that, and that, and of, you know, and I'm just
Starting point is 01:37:49 sitting there with, I feel, is that disrespectful? Probably, is it? Were you meditating? Well, I just just me dribbling fucking sauce on that fucking, their God's belly. But anyways, the Buddha dude, dude, dude, Buddha, and we have the one my favorite hoodie is the one I got on right now is the YKWD. This logo is awesome. The hoodies, the shit is your fan of the show. Go there and grab that right now. And the materials are amazing. And we're going to do some, we're going to do some coming up. We're going to do a little, we're going to talk about doing some type of packaging
Starting point is 01:38:26 or giveaway and so we'll do that next week. We'll let you guys know what's going to happen because we're going to give away something to one of you crazy fans. We're going to have a little competition or a little, what is it? A game with the fuck do we call it? I give away. I give away. Yeah, context. Thanks thanks Michael and Gabby. You're welcome. Anyways, um, so there you go. Uh, what do you got? Mike besides great, perfect hair. Oh, man. It was great.

Uh, you and I did a video that are with it's out there. We did it now and we're doing another one that's going to come out probably next week. Yeah, food rules, food rules, part two is coming out. I was just going to share that. So funny.
Starting point is 01:39:12 Thank you very much. That was good. And I have to say, you look like a female comedian in that head. I know. Every time I do this podcast, there it is. That said, and now we get, it's like, it's like, every time I come on this podcast, I have to look at that picture of Karate kick and rich, and then I got to hear the Tick-N-Tarrow thing, and it's fun, it lets it's like my token to let me know
Starting point is 01:39:31 I'm not in the audience. Well, you look like you have, you like you have like a ace bandage around your tits. Well, that's just so that I, that was just so that I was allowed to perform at that Brooklyn show. But so, I have, I have dated my website that they are headlining a couple of these shows and it's also going to be Skankfest, be an Uncle Vinny's, Wisecrackers already happened, but yeah, the most important thing I am Mike Finney on social media and go to youtube.com slash Mike Finney comedy. Can what you got me?
Starting point is 01:40:01 Yeah. Okay, sorry. I have. Can I give you a nickname? No road for the month of May. So, but I go to my canning comedy dot com. What happened? I don't know. Just a brutal stri spell for my agent poor job. It's fucking it. September. I know I was crushing the beginning of this year. And as soon as the baby is about to come in July, they're like no more work. So it should be interesting post post baby though. Oh, we're going to be at Zany's.
Starting point is 01:40:26 Yeah. Chicago October. Yeah. Doing a live pod. Then we'll be doing the same up a weekend. Good, good, good, good. Fifth through seventh in in October for Chicago Zany's. Yeah. I'll be in DC in September. And I'm putting more dates up as they come in. But yeah, at my Canon on Instagram, thanks for everybody. Thanks everybody. If you have for watching and sharing my videos, that's been very nice of you. And also maybe listen to Irish goodbye podcast. We both do that. Yeah. Yeah. You probably should do. It's very good. We just argue with each other. Yeah. Yeah. We do what you two did towards each other. Yeah. I really did. I really do give you a lot of accolades today. It was the most you've ever given me. It's met everyone. This is great.
Starting point is 01:41:05 I mean, I love this. I love that we're working together. I would love to come back and be stuffed. What? That's what I'm talking about. Just my place on Texas from a state. I have the issue with my father.
Starting point is 01:41:15 He's fucking swimming in from handloved. I talked to my dad right before I came up here. Oh, that's good. That's good. And yeah, he's reading over a contract for me. So he's great. The last time I saw my dad, he was frothing from the mouth and sweating from his forehead, screaming about the Kavanaugh hearing Apple Pell of nothing. Give him an arduc, arduc, arduc, arduc. Yeah, give him a shirt. I'm just going to send him Nick's special. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:39 Here, in Joe, you finally get me your opinions, but funny. Yeah. Chris, what do you got? I got a sneaker podcast that I do at Becky at her studio. She's actually wearing merch for that. So we're going to have that coming. Finny, you still around Sunday? Yeah, baby. Yeah, I don't book a show.
Starting point is 01:41:57 All right, giving you plugs. All right, it's a podcast. And this is fucking Florida. Will you stop having side convos while he's doing his plugs? He's asked me if I'm still available. It's Mother's Days, what he said. And it turns out I can do it, my mother's in Florida. We stop having side convos while he's doing his plugs. He's asked me if I'm still available. It's Mother's Days, what he said. And it turns out I can do it because my mom's in Florida. Just give you plugs.
Starting point is 01:42:11 Uh, not that chini on all accounts and uh, Stop stepping on his plug. But now we're having a conversation. Sneakers. Yeah. Oh, go ahead. Yeah. You're talking a lot of talk.
Starting point is 01:42:23 I'm trying. But you're talking. Go'm talking about him talking. Go ahead. I'm talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him. Go ahead. I'm talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking about him talking Right? We'll look so sweaty in that picture. Yeah. I'm excited for comedy camp too, but comedy camp. That's going to be fucking yeah. We can't announce it on the podcast.
Starting point is 01:42:51 We can't announce it on the other comics. Yeah, don't sell people. Can I do mushrooms? You can do whatever you want. It's probably can't be. Will you be a bummer though on mushrooms? Why? Yes, of course.
Starting point is 01:42:59 Well, what are you thinking? To you? I'm not sure about that. I'm not sure about that. I'll just take it. I will not. You know what I stand. I'm just gonna wrap you up. It's gonna rip you apart. All right, I'll just take it. I will not. You're gonna stand.
Starting point is 01:43:07 I'm a different person socially at my bar. You've never been to my barbecue, right? Have you been? At my house, it's a different. I'm very, I never, and I've been kind of vague on the show and then never follow up. Yeah, I don't even follow up with me. I don't follow you.
Starting point is 01:43:22 And it's gone on an unanswered. For the, you're coming though. I'd love to, whenever it is. Oh, you want to come to the barbecue? I would love to be involved in anything in your life. Oh! Papa, can you hear me? But Christ, I'm not reaching out, bud.
Starting point is 01:43:39 You want to come to the barbecue this year? I'd love to. Oh, my God. You're invited. Just fine, you're waiting. I have a car. Yeah, dude want to come to the barbecue this year? I'd love to. Oh my God. You're invited. All right, cool. Just find your way. Do I have a car? Yeah, dude. Just come.
Starting point is 01:43:49 Okay, you're addressing me. You're coming with me. Great. See you there. Yeah, Brendan cannot come. Okay. I know. That was never on the table.
Starting point is 01:43:57 No. I don't have a table big enough. I gotta tell you, it's gonna be, it's gonna be a, It's barely made it over the line. Gabby and I were talking about this. This is gonna be a night of zero sleep between the snoring that you do and the snoring that Saga Lowe does. Listen to me.
Starting point is 01:44:09 This fucking comedy camp, I just to let everyone know we have so much. We're gonna be in the woods. I'm gonna be sleeping in my amic fucking hammock. Oh nice, you got one of those. I got one of hammock hammock. It's incredible. Can you bring it up, Mike? Can you fucking, I know you get quit 10 minutes ago. Um, get your chubby Mexican fingers on that keyboard.
Starting point is 01:44:31 Oh, take me out. I'm not funny now. He's a fucking near. Um, anyways, yeah, that's it. Right. Amic. Amic. AMO. Click that. Thank you. Oh, God. No, it says amic. The other might say Zim. I love God. God. God. Shark. Shark. Shark. Shark. There it is. Oh, I almost bought it today and then I didn't put how it, but it's I wouldn't put your expose $200. Why? It's the betless. But you're exposed. What happens if it rains? No, it has a net and a tent that goes over the top, dude. That's that one's $300. the mosquito net. No, that tarp spared no expense. You don't need that top. You can just get a tarp get a $40 top and bring it and put it over. That's all I do.
Starting point is 01:45:16 Yeah, just buy this Gabby. You're going camping once. Gabby's I'm telling you'll have this forever. That's why I saw that. I'm like, no, I'm not going to. I want to see if they want to sponsor on the podcast. I'll take a free one right now. You're not getting a free one. First of all, all right. If they give me the big one, I'll give you my own one. Deal. Yeah. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:45:34 Do you camp? Yes. I never seen you camp. Never have because she stood up into busy camping. I will say whatever. I can't. Actually, 89. You don't can't.
Starting point is 01:45:44 Can you drive up to the campsite? Or we got to hike in. Jersey. You have to drive up. We park. It's going to be fun. It's going to be. It's going to be a camera equipment. Do whatever you want. We're going to do in a live bonfire. Oh, fuck. So they're going to do a bonfire. I told, I told Christina, I go, why would you not do a fun? There's a bonfire and where your fans are called campers. Literally. Crackle crackle. You've never done this.
Starting point is 01:46:10 Yeah. She's like, oh, yeah. She was like, we should do it. She was immediately in.
