Starting point is 00:00:00 Gabby here is a meditation instructor who just created her business website. Just need to choose a domain. Hmm, meditativeminds.ca or.com. That Canada goose looks grumpy. Also, why is he here? Well, Gabby, he's here to tell you that 85% of Canadians prefer supporting local business on a.ca over a.com. And.ca it is. Now repeat after me.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Oooooom. We'll workHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH In my family, five children all going into college are financially struggling due to this pathetic myth of a virus. I've been dismissed from my job and we have no money. We're accepting donations, but no less than $200. Thanks, friends. Download the comments, former Palmer says exactly what I was thinking. Damn, I had $199 burning a hole in my bank account. I guess I'll just go and blow it on silly stuff instead.
Starting point is 00:01:10 On this next post, OP is selling a gaming PC and someone tries to buy it for $1. You want a PC for $1? Yes. Lowell, sorry, I'll lose money if I sold my PCs for $1. Please, I need it for school. Ten dollars? Two hundred dollars? You want me to sell you a two thousand dollar gaming PC for twenty bucks for school?
Starting point is 00:01:36 You don't need such a powerful system for school. I think what you really want to do is play PC games while you're at school. This choosing beggar gave up too soon. He should have at least tried going for thirty dollars. was played PC games while you're at school. This choosing beggar gave up too soon, he should have at least tried going for $30. Hi, it took me a while to find you. Hi, who is this? I'm Blank. You sold me your laptop a few years ago. Oh, I remember now. What's up? Well, today I dropped my laptop and was wondering when you can come in fix it for me or take it to the Apple store to fix it.
Starting point is 00:02:05 WTF? Down in the comments we have this story from Shoot It's Reverse Flash. My mom sold her card to some guy when I was 15. Four years later the due texts are out of nowhere. Is this the lady who sold me the Toyota Matrix? So she says yes and he proceeds to say, Well, this week the engine had a gasket break and oil leaked everywhere. It's completely ruined.
Starting point is 00:02:30 All she could text back was, sounds like you need a new car. On this next post, Opie hasn't spoken to her ex boyfriend in over six months. And then she gets this text message from him. Your Netflix expires tomorrow. I know you ain't talking to me and stuff, but could you please just renew it? Stuff like this is why you always change your passwords after a breakup. On this next post, someone is trying to sell a $30 gift card.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Straight talk card, $35. I'm winning a little bit more than what I paid for the card. It wasn't compatible with my iPhone. $35. I'm winning a little bit more than what I paid for the card. It wasn't compatible with my iPhone. $35, please. I know the card says $30, but I need $35. Please pick up and blank only. No holds. Serious buyers only. So if you're thinking to yourself that this lady trying to sell a $30 gift card for $35 is stupid, well, it gets worse. In case you missed it, the gift card clearly says in giant capital letters. Does not work on smartphones.
Starting point is 00:03:34 So this lady just made a stupid mistake and expects you to pay for it. And down in the comments we have this story from Yippee. Lol, this reminds me of something I just saw the other day on my local Kajiji. I was looking for a bit bit, and I see the model I won't, except the only picture is a stock photo and is listed for the new price. So I ask, hey, do you have any actual photos of it and are you flexible on price at all? Would you accept $25 less in the posted price? She responds,
Starting point is 00:04:04 No need for pics, it's new in the box, that's why I'm selling it at a new price. I say thanks for the response. I'll just buy a new then to ensure I have a receipt and that it's in working order. I appreciate your time. And then below that, write us one ads. My mom was looking to buy a kayak
Starting point is 00:04:21 and saw a used one on Craigslist. She realized that it was a Walmart special and the guy was selling it for $50 more than if she bought it new at Walmart. She called him on it and his reply was, do you want it or not? Not. Definitely not. Hey guys, I'm looking for a roommate. The rent I can do is about $250-300 a month. Looking for either downtown or mountain pleasant area. Girls would be better. I have three pit bulls, but I'm COVID-free. As you can see, I got tested. I don't work, but I'll normally be hanging in the living room not doing much, but watching
Starting point is 00:04:59 Netflix and staying out of the way. By the way, I'm only considering places with a saltwater pool and a gym with free weights above 75 pounds. Much appreciated, John. So this was posted to a Charleston Facebook group, and I did a search for Charleston apartments in Mount Pleasant with a gym and a pool. And the absolute cheapest apartment that I could find that had a pool, a gym, and two bedrooms was $1500. And that was the absolute floor. A lot of them were closer to about 2k and some even going up to $3,000. So, when he's saying that the best rent that he can do is $250 a month, then the best-case scenario is that he's paying 1-6th of the rent. Also, I'm wondering why he prefers a girl roommate.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Does he think that it's because it'll be easier for him to push her around or does he just want to have some eye candy? On this next post, Opie got a divorce from her husband and they haven't spoken in over two years. Hey, hi, who is this? Oh, sorry, it's your ex-husband. Oh, hi, is everything okay?
Starting point is 00:06:05 Yeah, just wondering if you kept the Roku. I didn't. Have you looked in the boxes at your aunt's house? Not yet. Is it okay if I have that? Sure thing. Can you send me your Hulu login? I actually deleted it altogether.
Starting point is 00:06:19 I don't have Hulu. I still have the same Netflix login though, if you want to use that. Man, that sucks about Hulu. I already have to say Netflix login though if you want to use that. Man, that sucks about Hulu. I already have Netflix. You got Amazon Prime. No. Shoot girl. HBO.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Disney plus. No and no. I will accept literally any other streaming service. How do you only have Netflix? Medical school keeps me pretty busy. Not a lot of time to watch TV, enjoy the Roku. I love how this guy criticizes his ex-wife for only having a Netflix subscription, when he himself only has a Netflix subscription. On this next post, OP gave her older sister an expensive hair straightener for Christmas, and within a week the older sister demands that she buy her a new one. Well, it broke, so...
Starting point is 00:07:08 I'm not buying you a new one. I gave it to you as a gift, so you should have taken better care of it. I literally saved up money for it. I know, I know. But I need to take care of my daughter, and it can be so expensive. And I really need a hair straightener. Please, just one last favor for me, cutie. Okay, I can get you a cheaper one for Christmas,
Starting point is 00:07:31 but that's all you're going to get. Actually, I was going to ask for a different brand and I need to buy a wig because I'm invited to a really important party. Nope, buy. Gabby here is a meditation instructor who just created her business website. Just need to choose a domain. Hmm, meditativeminds.ca or dot com.
Starting point is 00:07:51 BAM! That Canada goose looks grumpy. Also, why is he here? Well, Gabby, he's here to tell you that 85% of Canadians prefer supporting local business on a dotca over a dot com. And dotca it is. Now repeat after me. Whooooom.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Ah! We'll work on that friend. Go local. Choose success. Choose .ca. It's just the beginning. Stream the complete Dutton legacy, 1883, 1923, and all seasons of Yellowstone.
Starting point is 00:08:22 I love Montana, but I'm doing this far family. Paramount Plus, the streaming home of Yellowstone. I love Montana, but I'm doing this far family. Paramount Plus, the streaming home of Yellowstone. Nice art. Can you draw for me? Thank you. Yes, I can. I take commissions. What's a commission?
Starting point is 00:08:36 Well, it's like an order. It requires money just like any other job. You pay taxes. You're registered under the government? Not really. I do this as a hobby, and I earn less than $300 a month, so I don't pay taxes, you're registered under the government? Not really, I do this as a hobby and I earn less than $300 a month so I don't pay taxes for it. You know that's illegal.
Starting point is 00:08:51 How much do you charge per drawing? You can draw for me and my wife? For free, not paying since you aren't registered. I don't draw for free. But you can draw for practice. If I ever want to practice and have no inspiration, I'll message you. Hmm, okay, I need it by April since it's my wife's birthday, so do it by then. I'll do it whenever I'm free.
Starting point is 00:09:12 I can't promise doing it before April. Where do you live? Why? I'm calling the police on you B word. You think you can get away with doing illegal stuff? B word? Okay, I'll do it before April. Haha, got scared of police.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Yeah. Good. Stay in your senses. Then time passes. Done. Can I see progress? I haven't started. Hurry up.
Starting point is 00:09:37 You're not even paying me. Do you really think it's fair of you to boss me around like this? It's quite rude. If you really want to drawing that fast, I'll give you one really quick, but don't complain if it doesn't reach your standards. Okay, do it ASAP. Even a sketch is okay. And then OP since this choosing Beger a stick figure drawing.
Starting point is 00:09:57 WTF is this. WTF. WTF is this. What the F? What the F is this? What the F? What the F is this? Reply back. We do not look like this. Are you blind?
Starting point is 00:10:10 Reply back. Reply now or I'm calling the police. You know I can see when you see my messages right. Do you think I'm stupid? I will report you to the police for not giving taxes. F you. Reply back! I like how this choosing beggar is threatening to report OP for tax evasion when this choosing
Starting point is 00:10:29 beggar is himself committing extortion by threatening to do exactly that. So OP, she just flipped the tables and threatened to call the cops on him. I will let you know I have quite a few artist friends in the area and I can definitely share your art with them. Word of mouth spreads the word. That's been profitable for me. Money doesn't inspire me as much as the working on the project. Look at it that way.
Starting point is 00:10:55 I'm older than you I'm sure, but I've been around the art business for years in all mediums. Is this your way of trying to get something for free and offer advertisement as payment? I have a great network. Review one star. I asked to represent it for a $9 discount on a screen and this was the reply I got. Your offer is a joke and a good part of your reputation is responding to that kind of silliness and kind. You want us to sell this part for less than our wholesale cost? That's ridiculous. I would say on par with the ridiculousness of your question.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Unprofessional and unwarranted harassment. And then the store owner replies, I define unwarranted harassment as repeatedly asking for a $9 discount on a part that's being sold with an 86 cent profit margin. Then, going on to explain how your offer is reasonable and how we're being rookies by not considering your below-cost offer. This is like going to a bodega and asking for a pack of cigarettes for $2.50 over and over. Then, acting surprised when the bodega owner asked you to leave, asking for a pack of cigarettes for $2.50 takes balls, but staying in the bodega to argue is what
Starting point is 00:12:10 this guy did. Not only is he proposing we lose money on the sale of a part, he's doing so in a condescending arrogant manner, a double whammy. At which point, I did say the thing he quoted in the review. I stand behind those words. We go out of our way to help people and routinely do so at below market pricing because we love what we do. This allows me to retain a clean conscience telling degenerates like this person to go
Starting point is 00:12:37 f themselves when the opportunity arises. It's the beauty of being the boss. You can cut nonsense out without having to jump through red tape. Thanks for your feedback. Yo man, that thing you made is dope. Thank you, it's a prototype. Is it like a badge or what? It's a leather patch, you can sew them on a denim jacket or backpack or whatever. Can you make me a big one for my backpack?
Starting point is 00:13:01 Wow, that's big. How big, like, back. Wow, that's big. How big? Like in centimeters. I don't know, like, 20 centimeters by 20 centimeters of this image. A cool skull. Hello? Hello? This is really looking bad for you. Dude, relax. I was eating.
Starting point is 00:13:19 And I can't do that. It has to do with artist etiquette. I can sketch something similar to that in my style. I'll have to figure out how much the leather will cost, the ink, needles, etc. I'll send you a sketch to see if you want to change something. What are you talking about? Needles? What are you a drugie? No, I need them to tattoo the ink into the leather. I'll send you my PayPal so you can send me half the money for the job when I crunch the numbers to see what it's all going to cost. Half the money you're making no sense. Well, you want to patch that big, so it's going to cost more. Especially if
Starting point is 00:13:54 I make one tiny mistake on the leather, I have to start all over again out of my pocket. You expect to get paid for this? Hey, how about a collab? I'll post it on my page for a week and on my story. Plus, people will see me wearing it. You can even put your ad on the bottom. So, you want me to eat the cost of this and I'm guessing shipping for exposure when you have four followers? Hey, you're being rude.
Starting point is 00:14:22 I got connections to big people. I'll look past this and give you another chance. Do it like the pick I sent and let me know to send you my address. Does this work? Do you actually get stuff for free by trying to appear intimidating with your connections? You'll see. No one will ever work with you again. Now, do as I told you. Huh, sure bud. How about you tell the people who work in a grocery store about how instead of money, you can pay them with your connections.
Starting point is 00:14:50 Oh, and the power bill. I'm sure they would all be breaking down your door for that deal. Ehh, few you bundle of sticks. Bundle of sticks. Man, what I want to know is, how does this guy only have four followers? Like, is that just as mommy, his daddy, and like two grandparents? On this next post, a choosing bigger contact, OP, hoping to hire OP to create a commercial for her startup company.
Starting point is 00:15:15 OP asks, but just a quick question so that we're both on the same page. Is this gonna be paid work or for free? Ha, let's talk about it, you tell me. Are you willing to pay or do you just want to have a collaboration for free? Listen, you have very bad manners. Asking questions like this, it's completely unprofessional. I was going to pay for your work, of course. What were you thinking?
Starting point is 00:15:40 We're looking for someone with a good attitude who's still in this process of learning like you and needs to build his portfolio. We're not after professionals who are asking for lots of money. Rather, someone small like we are so that we both benefit from each other with payments naturally. But after your attitude, I can see you still need to learn a lot and I don't think it would be the right person for our project. Best wishes. Wow, okay, it was a simple yes or no question. This lady said let's talk about it and then got mad when OP talked about it. OP, you dodged a bullet on this one, she would have been a nightmare
