with a diaper fetish. Our next Reddit post is from Few Collection. I'm an 18-year-old woman and my
boyfriend is 20. We've been together for three months. I literally was just about to tell him that I
love him. He's the sweetest guy I've ever met. He's so handsome. Just my type. He opened. He opened. He
My door for me every time.
Does everything for me.
Never lets me carry anything.
Takes me on trips.
Tells me how beautiful I am all day.
His family loves me.
And my family and friends love him.
He's pretty much perfect.
So, of course, this had to happen.
I know I shouldn't have, and it's an invasion of privacy.
But I went through his phone tonight while he was staying at my house.
Literally nothing bad at all.
His Snapchat, his Twitter messages, until I got to his Instagram.
His account was completely fine, until I saw that he had multiple accounts logged in.
I went to the other one and, oh my God, he's following a bunch of diaper boys, as they call themselves.
I went into the messages, and there's probably about a hundred different people that he's been messaging dating back to like two years ago.
The most recent being literally just a few days ago.
There's pictures of him in diapers and weird messages that I can't even explain.
I ended up waking him up and telling him that he had to go home and that I wasn't feeling good.
I'm literally in shock.
This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen.
I'm disgusted, heartbroken, and laughing all at the same time.
Like, WTF, this doesn't even feel real.
I genuinely don't know how to handle this.
I don't want to shame him for something he's clearly kept private,
but I also don't know if I can stay in a relationship knowing this.
We have a trip coming up in not even a week.
week to see one of my favorite artists. I've already purchased my $320 ticket. I have no idea what to do.
Please help. Well, the core problem here isn't the diaper thing. The guy's got a fetish,
clearly. Everyone's got their kinks. That's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things.
The real problem is that he's messaging presumably dirty things to other people,
which is a form of cheating. So I think the simplest thing to do is to just break up with them.
Post is from Best Pirates. Am I the butthole for ending a first date after a girl deleted half of a
playlist I'd been building for years? I'm still super pissed about this, and when I was telling a friend
about it today at the gym, he told me I was tripping. So this last weekend, I was on a first date with
a girl that I matched with on Bumble. We'd been texting for a little bit back and forth for a few
weeks now, and decided to meet up for drinks and then grab food after. Everything was going fine,
and honestly, the drinks were awesome, and we were viving hard, and she really seemed like a dope person.
We get in my car to head to grab something to eat, and I'm playing the playlist that I've been carefully putting together for like five years now.
It's a mix of stuff like Sza, don't know how to pronounce that, Summer Walker, Frank Ocean, some of the weekend softer songs, and a few other similar artists.
A few minutes into the drive, she asks if she can look at my phone to change the music.
I hand it over without thinking much of it.
Next thing I know, I glance over and she's deleting songs left and right.
I then noticed that she's already wiped out a huge chunk of the playlist in a matter of minutes.
Like, legitimately, half of it was gone before I could even say anything.
I asked her what she was doing, and she said the playlist was too soft and feminine,
and not masculine enough for a guy.
She started adding her own songs instead.
That low-key pissed me off.
I told her to stop and give me my phone back.
I looked at what she'd done, and a bunch of tracks I'd spent years collecting and arranging were just gone.
I pulled over, restored what I could from recently deleted, and told her I was going to end the date there and drop her at her car.
She seemed surprised and a little offended.
Said that I was overreacting and that it was just music.
I still drove her the rest of the way, but the vibe was completely dead.
She got out without really saying much.
I don't know.
I spent a long time building that playlist,
and she just started erasing it like it was nothing
because she decided it wasn't guy enough.
I didn't feel like continuing the date after that.
I'm looking for outside opinions.
Am I the butthole?
This is weird and rude.
I see this as being on the same tier as offensive
as like going into someone's camera roll
and just deleting random pictures.
Like, oh, I don't know who this girl is.
I don't like that you have a picture of a girl, I'm deleting it,
when who knows that could be his sister or his mom or whatever.
Then, down in the comments, we have this story from bashfully lascivious.
For context, people in the comments were complaining about, like, gender roles
and the girls' reasons about it not being masculine enough.
Oh my God, let me tell you about colors.
I was walking with my eight-month-old boy strapped to my chest.
I did a bit of grocery shopping, grabbed a coffee,
and when I stepped back outside and started walking again,
I noticed the wind had picked up considerably.
That's okay for me, but for my baby's short little ear canals,
I could see an earache might occur.
So I walked over to the dollar store,
but because it wasn't quite the season for it yet,
the only earmuffs they had in stock were bright, buzzy, and pink.
Oh well, I bought them and placed them over my kids' ears.
I was halfway home when a massive truck screeched to a halt right beside me,
and the driver booms,
boys don't wear pink earmuffs and screeches off.
Scared the stuffing out of me.
That was nine years ago.
Last week, my eight-year-old went into a different dollar store with his big brother in his
brand-new hoodie from Italy that he'd picked out himself.
It was bright pink, the first thing he's ever worn, let alone picked out in that color,
and has Italian flag strips on the cuffs and a huge Italy across the chest.
Some backwater wife beater cornered my son, red-faced, and repeated,
Boys don't wear pink!
Twice until my kid paid attention to him.
My eldest son said the guy was about 35 to 40 and hostile.
Like, dude, who's the strange one here?
Because he's certainly not the person who isn't unloading his redneck baggage
onto some other unsuspecting kid over the color of a piece of clothing.
Gross weirdo of a grown man.
I'm still mad. Also something I can't help but point out about the guy in the truck is O.P. said that
she was carrying her eight-month-old kid, and you generally can't really tell the gender of an eight-month-old,
especially when, you know, the kid is on the sidewalk with his mom and you're driving in a truck.
So I think what happened probably is that the driver saw a baby with blue clothing and pink earmuffs
and just assumed, correctly in this case, that the baby was a boy, which shows an even stronger,
because why not see the pink earmuffs and assume that it's a girl wearing blue clothes?
Our next Reddit post is from Am I the Butthole Relationships?
Am I the butthole for judging my girlfriend for having intercourse with me too soon?
My girlfriend and I kissed on our third date when we first started seeing each other.
That night we became intimate and we had intercourse for the first time about two weeks later.
She was a virgin and I was her first sexual partner.
We've now been together for a year and three months.
Everything between us is great, and I genuinely believe she's someone I could marry.
However, there's one thing that's been bothering me.
I can't stop thinking about how quickly she trusted me and became intimate with me.
It makes me feel uncomfortable and sometimes even angry.
And because of that, I find myself questioning whether I want to marry her.
I told her about these feelings eight months ago.
She was understandably very hurt, but she agreed that we should work on this together and try to resolve the issue.
She says that what happened was mutual and that I have no right to judge her for when I was equally involved.
However, I believe men and women are different when it comes to these things,
and I can't get past the fact that she trusted me and became intimate with me so easily.
I want to make it clear that throughout our relationship,
I've never seen anything that suggests she's promiscuous or unfaithful.
Quite the opposite.
She loves me deeply and has always been loyal to me.
But every time I think about how our relationship started,
I feel angry all over again.
And it makes me question whether I should marry her.
So am I the butthole for feeling this way
and judging her based on how quickly she became intimate with me?
O.P., you became intimate with her just as quickly as she became intimate with you,
you doofus. And what exactly is her terrible crime that she fell in love with you too quickly?
That's a bad thing, you moron? Question mark, question mark. Huh? This is so confusing.
I see so many posts about insecure guys flipping out that their girlfriend has had intercourse with other guys before them.
But it's a, but I can't believe I'm reading a post where a guy is flipping out because his girlfriend had intercourse with himself.
What's the big deal?
Our next Reddit post is from Future Apricot.
I'm a 29-year-old woman and my boyfriend is 32.
We've been dating for about three years now.
My boyfriend is one of those people who always needs to be right.
If you counter one of his opinions or tell him that a fact he's stating is wrong,
he will incessantly argue or try and justify his argument in a way that makes him seem right.
I used to think this was just one of his quirks,
but now I'm not so sure after what just happened a couple of days ago.
This past weekend, my boyfriend decided to go overnight camping with one of his friends and his friend's girlfriend.
We had a great time, and there were no arguments or anything between us.
I thought we left the campsite in a great mood.
The four of us drove together to camp, and on the way back, we decided to stop for a coffee before getting back into the city.
At the coffee shop, my boyfriend's friend, his girlfriend and I, all decided to get one of the seasonal lattes that the shop was serving.
My boyfriend ordered a plain black coffee.
My friend's girlfriend, seeing that he was the only one who didn't order a specialty drink,
asked my boyfriend if he always drank his coffee black.
He responded,
Yes, I hate the way coffee tastes with stuff in it.
Well, this simply isn't true.
I regularly buy coffee creamer for the apartment that we share together, and he uses it often.
I pretty much see him adding some to his coffee every day.
He works from home, and I don't,
so sometimes I'll get home and notice the creamer is gone,
or significantly lower than it was that morning, meaning he drank it during the day. Teasingly, I said,
well, sometimes you steal some of my coffee creamer. I thought it would be a little joke,
and my boyfriend would laugh and admit that sometimes he does. Well, I was wrong. He gives me the
biggest glare I've ever seen, and in an angry tone responds, you're wrong. I've never done that.
Why would you lie about that? Not knowing what to say, I just told you.
everyone I was joking, but he made the atmosphere incredibly tense, and I'm sure our friends could feel it.
We moved past the moment, and I was thinking he would drop it, but when we got home, he went in on me
again. He kept calling me a liar, asking why I would lie to our friends like that. I responded,
but you do drink my coffee creamer. Are you embarrassed about that or something? And he said,
No, I just don't appreciate you lying about me. I genuinely felt like that.
like I was being gaslit over the stupidest little thing.
He wouldn't drop it the entire day and kept asking why I was such a liar.
I got so fed up that I packed a bag and went to my parents' house for the night.
They live like 30 minutes away from us.
I'm still at their house and I'm not sure what to do.
I love my boyfriend and we've usually been able to get past arguments,
but I feel like I'm going crazy.
I feel like it's dumb to break up over an argument about coffee creamer,
But it's also dumb to make such a big deal over it if he likes doing it.
Has anyone else dealt with a partner like this and made it work?
Or am I doing myself a favor by breaking up with him?
Now, here's the thing about this story.
Even if we give the boyfriend the most benefit of the doubt possible.
Like, let's assume that O.P. is lying or wrong and that he really does drink black coffee.
Okay, if that's the case, and if O.P. is incorrect or mistaken or just making a dumb joke,
Does that really warrant interrogating your girlfriend for an entire day and glaring at her in the middle of a restaurant?
Huh? I don't put creamer in my coffee. Why would you say that?
Oh, okay. Sorry, it's just a little joke.
Oh, okay. And then you move on because what's, who cares?
I mean, obviously, that's not the case. Obviously, he does actually drink creamer,
and he's just trying to seem like a tough manly man who drinks coffee black.
The more bitter, the better, because it puts hair on your chest and gives you big muscles.
and I hate pink and girly stuff and I want to punch concrete.
That is what's really going on here, and we all know it.
Our next Reddit post comes from R slash Am I the Butthole and was deleted, I assume, because
OP got a lot of heat.
Let's see.
Am I the butthole for wanting my stepdaughter banned from my house for entertaining my son-in-law's
letter?
My husband and I each entered the marriage with one daughter.
My daughter, Holly, is 34, and my stepdaughter Tessa is 29.
My husband and I have been together since our kids were 15 and 10.
The girls never had a close sister-like relationship, but they never had problems either.
Holly is married with two children.
Tessa is a single mother and has a daughter.
Holly's husband, Rick, works pretty closely with Tessa, and recently our family imploded when Rick wrote Tessa a love letter.
The gist of it is he thinks he only stayed with Holly for these years to be close to Tessa.
He thinks he always knew, but he had a big realization when he was fighting with Holly,
and Tessa laughed at them and choked on some water she was drinking.
And it made him realize that Holly never laughs.
He called her vibrant and alive,
and implied her daughter is happier than his children,
because Tessa is just so wonderful,
and he wants to raise his kids around her light.
Holly called me in tears.
She knew they'd been having problems,
But she never expected anything like that. Tessa called her dad pretty upset and swore nothing ever
happened between them, and I do believe her. She said she just thought of him as a good friend,
and they did spend significant time together based on work and their daughters being close.
Then she said something that really pissed me off. She said, what he did was inappropriate,
but who could blame him? I asked her to elaborate on what that meant, and my husband told me to
leave Tessa alone. Holly kicked Rick out and filed for divorce, and she's absolutely reeling.
She was a stay-at-home mother and has no idea what she's going to do long term.
Recently, Tessa confessed to my husband that she knows that what Rick did wasn't okay,
but she kept the letter and reads it sometimes, because it's the sweetest thing anyone's
ever said to her. That infuriated me, and I told my husband that he's welcome to have any
relationship he wants with Tessa outside of my house. I don't want to have to host her. I don't want
Holly to have to see her at holidays. My husband says I'm being unfair and that Tessa can't help it.
And I have no right to ban anyone from our marital home. I don't blame Tessa for what Rick did,
but I do blame her for her nonchalant attitude. Yeah, I think you're overreacting here,
O.P. You're trying to ban family members. Your stepdaughter doesn't seem like she's trying to pursue
the relationship. She just admitted she was kind of flattered, which is bad, but is that worth
banning her from the house forever? That feels pretty steep to me. You know, she's not rubbing the
divorce in her sister's face. She's having a private conversation with her father about the complicated
emotional situation that she's found herself in at no fault of her own, by the way. Is a girl not allowed
to have a private, open conversation with her dad about how she's feeling and how situations can be
messy? Who is she supposed to talk to about this stuff then? And if you like this content,
be sure to follow my podcast because I put out new Reddit podcast episodes every single day.
