The biggest Easter egg hunt ever was in Florida, USA, in April of 2007.
There were more than 500,000 eggs to find.
That's a lot of eggs.
Pretty cool, huh?
Okay.
Story time.
Today, we are going to read Chester's colorful Easter eggs by Teresa Smyth.
On the day before Easter, Chester was excited to decorate the eggs for the holiday.
He boiled six eggs on the stove.
fixed himself a little snack and put on his favorite music.
Then he sat down with his crayons, tape, and an egg coloring kit.
First, Chester colored an egg red and hid it in a nest full of baby birds outside Cindy's balcony.
Chester colored an egg green and hit it in one of Miss Kitty's flower pots.
Then Chester colored an egg yellow.
and hid it under Ralph's hat while he was napping.
Chester colored an egg orange
and hid it inside Charlotte's Sugar Bowl
when they had tea.
Chester colored an egg purple
and hit it behind Maurice's curtain
during his piano lesson.
Chester colored an egg blue
and hit it in Frederick's water fountain
on the rooftop just as it started to rain.
On Easter morning,
the sun began poking through the clouds.
and Chester's friends found all the eggs.
Suddenly, a magical glow appeared on the eggs.
Chester was tickled pink.
Under the rainbow, his eggs looked so colorful.
It was truly a wonderful Easter to share with all of his friends.
