Let's do this. Today we are going to read Disney Jr. Tots. You've got to be kidding me.
It's a beautiful morning at the Tiny One's Transport Service. The storks at Tots have an important job, delivering babies from the hangar in the sky to their families on the ground below.
The baby animals are all being loaded into their delivery crates. They can't wait to meet their parents.
Today, two new junior flyers are joining them, Pip the penguin and his best friend Freddie the Flamingo.
They may not be storks, but that's okay with their boss, Captain Beekman.
Every bird deserves a chance no matter what feathers they have, she says.
Pip and Freddie head out with their other birds to make their first delivery.
They are determined to do a great job.
I can't wait to soar through the clouds, Pip says.
And I can't wait to play with those adorable babies, says Freddie.
The conveyor belt springs to life and out comes a kitten named Kiki.
She looks at the Pipp and Freddie and says, Mama, dada!
Pip laughs. We're not your parents, but we'll take you to meet them.
It's delivery time. Freddie tucks Kiki into her crate.
Pip grabs the fly pad and hops onto Freddy's side.
back. He checks out the flight path and gives Freddie directions. Flamingo! Freddy calls.
A little while later, Pip and Freddie arrive at Kiki's house, but no one is home. They read
the instruction manual on their fly pad. It says they are supposed to leave the baby inside to
wait for her parents. Take a little nap till your parents get here, Freddy says. Bye, Kiki.
When Pip and Freddy get back to talks, they stop at the nursery to visit their friend Casey the koala.
She's throwing a baby dance party before nap time.
Just then, Freddy hears a tiny voice.
Mama!
It's Kiki!
Kiki undelivered herself, Pip shouts.
Pip and Freddy have got to get the kitten to her parents before the timer runs out.
They don't want their first delivery to be late.
They race to get Kiki back to her house.
You stay here, okay? Freddie says.
Your parents will be back soon, Pip adds.
Kiki just purrs and smiles up at them.
But once Pip and Freddie get back to Tots, Kiki is right there with them.
Mama, Dada, she says.
Pip and Freddie fly Kiki home again and again.
But she follows them back every time.
Pip and Freddy get so tired from all the flying back and forth,
but worst of all, the timer has almost run out.
There's no way we can deliver Kiki on time now, Pip cries.
Everyone's first delivery is a little bumpy, Casey says, hoping to cheer them up.
But we're not like all the other storks, Freddy says.
We're the first ever penguin flamingo delivery team.
team. Pip shrugs. Maybe we're just not cut out for this job after all.
It doesn't matter what kind of feathers you have, Casey tells Pip and Freddie. It's what's
underneath them that counts. More feathers? Freddy asks. No, Casey giggles. Your heart.
Casey reminds Pip and Freddie that they earned their spots as junior flyers. You two are perfect for this job.
You'll do whatever it takes.
Freddy smiles at his best buddy.
That's what we always say.
Pip and Freddy look down at Kiki.
They need a new plan so she can meet her real parents.
What if we get Kiki to take a little cat nap?
Casey suggests.
How would we get her to do that?
Pip asks.
A dance party! Casey exclaims.
Everyone shakes their tails, feathers and tail feathers.
to the music. The dance party works. Kiki falls fast asleep. She's sleeping like a, well, like a baby, Pip whispers. Now it's time to get Kiki to her family once and for all. When Pip and Freddie get to Kiki's house, they're overjoyed to see her parents are waiting for their new baby. Kiki wakes up in her parents' arms.
Mama, dada, she says.
We completed our first delivery, Pip exclaims.
But I'm really going to miss Kiki.
Me too, says Freddie.
When Pip and Freddie arrive back at Tots, Captain Beekman is waiting.
You two just earned your very first delivery stamp for bringing the baby home.
Keep up the good work.
Pip and Freddie will always remember their very first delivery.
Kiki, the adorn.
adorable kitten. The end. I hope you enjoyed that story. I wonder what we're going to read next.
